15. 0  
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
- Alhamdu lillahi rabbi alAAalameena (Ⅰ)
- The Beneficent, the Merciful, (Ⅱ)
- In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful. (Ⅲ)
- Praise belongs to God, the Lord of all Being, (Ⅳ)
- Praise be to Allah, the Cherisher and Sustainer of the worlds; (Ⅵ)
15. 1  
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ الر ۚ تِلْكَ آيَاتُ الْكِتَابِ وَقُرْآنٍ مُّبِينٍ
- Aliflamra tilka ayatu alkitabi waquranin mubeenin (Ⅰ)
- ALIF LAM RA. Those are the ayats (signs or verses) of Revelation and of a clear Reading (Quran) (or that clarifies). (Ⅱ)
- Alif. Lam. Ra. These are verses of the Scripture and a plain Reading. (Ⅲ)
- Alif Lam Ra. Those are the signs of the Book and of a manifest Koran. (Ⅳ)
- A. L. R. These are the Ayats of Revelation,- of a Qur´an that makes things clear. (Ⅵ)
15. 2  
رُّبَمَا يَوَدُّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لَوْ كَانُوا مُسْلِمِينَ
- Rubama yawaddu allatheena kafaroo law kanoo muslimeena (Ⅰ)
- Many a time will those who disbelieve wish they had surrendered (obeyed or been Muslims). (Ⅱ)
- It may be that those who disbelieve wish ardently that they were Muslims. (Ⅲ)
- Perchance the unbelievers will wish that they had surrendered: (Ⅳ)
- Again and again will those who disbelieve, wish that they had bowed (to Allah´s will) in Islam. (Ⅵ)
15. 3  
ذَرْهُمْ يَأْكُلُوا وَيَتَمَتَّعُوا وَيُلْهِهِمُ الْأَمَلُ ۖ فَسَوْفَ يَعْلَمُونَ
- Tharhum yakuloo wayatamattaAAoo wayulhihimu alamalu fasawfa yaAAlamoona (Ⅰ)
- Leave them to eat and enjoy the good things of life and let hope beguile them, but they shall come to know! (Ⅱ)
- Let them eat and enjoy life, and let (false) hope beguile them. They will come to know! (Ⅲ)
- leave them to eat, and to take their joy, and to be bemused by hope; certainly they will soon know! (Ⅳ)
- Leave them alone, to enjoy (the good things of this life) and to please themselves: let (false) hope amuse them: soon will knowledge (undeceive them). (Ⅵ)
15. 4  
وَمَا أَهْلَكْنَا مِن قَرْيَةٍ إِلَّا وَلَهَا كِتَابٌ مَّعْلُومٌ
- Wama ahlakna min qaryatin illa walaha kitabun maAAloomun (Ⅰ)
- We never did destroy a community but there was a fixed term decreed for it. (Ⅱ)
- And We destroyed no township but there was a known decree for it. (Ⅲ)
- Never a city have We destroyed, but it had a known decree, (Ⅳ)
- Never did We destroy a population that had not a term decreed and assigned beforehand. (Ⅵ)
15. 5  
مَّا تَسْبِقُ مِنْ أُمَّةٍ أَجَلَهَا وَمَا يَسْتَأْخِرُونَ
- Ma tasbiqu min ommatin ajalaha wama yastakhiroona (Ⅰ)
- No nation can hasten on its appointed time, nor put it off. (Ⅱ)
- No nation can outstrip its term nor can they lag behind. (Ⅲ)
- and no nation outstrips its term, nor do they put it back. (Ⅳ)
- Neither can a people anticipate its term, nor delay it. (Ⅵ)
15. 6  
وَقَالُوا يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِي نُزِّلَ عَلَيْهِ الذِّكْرُ إِنَّكَ لَمَجْنُونٌ
- Waqaloo ya ayyuha allathee nuzzila AAalayhi alththikru innaka lamajnoonun (Ⅰ)
- But they say, "O you to whom the Reminder (the Quran) has been sent down! Verily, you are possessed. (Ⅱ)
- And they say: O thou unto whom the Reminder is revealed, lo! thou art indeed a madman! (Ⅲ)
- They say: ´Thou, upon whom the Remembrance is sent down, thou art assuredly possessed! (Ⅳ)
- They say: "O thou to whom the Message is being revealed! truly thou art mad (or possessed)! (Ⅵ)
15. 7  
لَّوْ مَا تَأْتِينَا بِالْمَلَائِكَةِ إِن كُنتَ مِنَ الصَّادِقِينَ
- Law ma tateena bialmalaikati in kunta mina alssadiqeena (Ⅰ)
- "Why do you not bring us the angels if you do tell the truth?" (Ⅱ)
- Why bringest thou not angels unto us, if thou art of the truthful ? (Ⅲ)
- Why dost thou not bring the angels unto us, if thou speakest truly?´ (Ⅳ)
- "Why bringest thou not angels to us if it be that thou hast the Truth?" (Ⅵ)
15. 8  
مَا نُنَزِّلُ الْمَلَائِكَةَ إِلَّا بِالْحَقِّ وَمَا كَانُوا إِذًا مُّنظَرِينَ
- Ma nunazzilu almalaikata illa bialhaqqi wama kanoo ithan munthareena (Ⅰ)
- We sent not down the angels save as a Fact (for a just or right cause, effect or reason); but then (if We did) they would have no respite. (Ⅱ)
- We send not down the angels save with the Fact, and in that case (the disbelievers) would not be tolerated. (Ⅲ)
- We send not down the angels, save with truth; (Ⅳ)
- We send not the angels down except for just cause: if they came (to the ungodly), behold! no respite would they have! (Ⅵ)
15. 9  
إِنَّا نَحْنُ نَزَّلْنَا الذِّكْرَ وَإِنَّا لَهُ لَحَافِظُونَ
- Inna nahnu nazzalna alththikra wainna lahu lahafithoona (Ⅰ)
- Verily, We have revealed (sent down) the Reminder, and, verily, We are its Guardian. (Ⅱ)
- Lo! We, even We, reveal the Reminder, and lo! We verily are its Guardian. (Ⅲ)
- then they would not be respited. It is We who have sent down the Remembrance, and We watch over it. (Ⅳ)
- We have, without doubt, sent down the Message; and We will assuredly guard it (from corruption). (Ⅵ)
15. 10  
وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا مِن قَبْلِكَ فِي شِيَعِ الْأَوَّلِينَ
- Walaqad arsalna min qablika fee shiyaAAi alawwaleena (Ⅰ)
- We, verily, sent Messengers before you among the sects of men in past ages. (Ⅱ)
- We verily sent (messengers) before thee among the factions of the men of old. (Ⅲ)
- Indeed, We sent Messengers before thee, among the factions of the ancients, (Ⅳ)
- We did send messengers before thee amongst the religious sects of old: (Ⅵ)
15. 11  
وَمَا يَأْتِيهِم مِّن رَّسُولٍ إِلَّا كَانُوا بِهِ يَسْتَهْزِئُونَ
- Wama yateehim min rasoolin illa kanoo bihi yastahzioona (Ⅰ)
- But there never came a messenger to them but they did mock him. (Ⅱ)
- And never came there unto them a messenger but they did mock him. (Ⅲ)
- and not a single Messenger came to them, but they mocked at him; (Ⅳ)
- But never came a messenger to them but they mocked him. (Ⅵ)
15. 12  
كَذَٰلِكَ نَسْلُكُهُ فِي قُلُوبِ الْمُجْرِمِينَ
- Kathalika naslukuhu fee quloobi almujrimeena (Ⅰ)
- Even so do We let it traverse the heart of the guilty. (Ⅱ)
- Thus do We make it traverse the hearts of the guilty: (Ⅲ)
- even so We cause it to enter into the hearts of the sinners -- (Ⅳ)
- Even so do we let it creep into the hearts of the sinners - (Ⅵ)
15. 13  
لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِهِ ۖ وَقَدْ خَلَتْ سُنَّةُ الْأَوَّلِينَ
- La yuminoona bihi waqad khalat sunnatu alawwaleena (Ⅰ)
- They will not believe therein, though the example of those of past times is before them. (Ⅱ)
- They believe not therein, though the example of the men of old hath gone before. (Ⅲ)
- they believe not in it, though the wont of the ancients is already gone. (Ⅳ)
- That they should not believe in the (Message); but the ways of the ancients have passed away. (Ⅵ)
15. 14  
وَلَوْ فَتَحْنَا عَلَيْهِم بَابًا مِّنَ السَّمَاءِ فَظَلُّوا فِيهِ يَعْرُجُونَ
- Walaw fatahna AAalayhim baban mina alssamai fathalloo feehi yaAArujoona (Ⅰ)
- But had We opened to them a Gate of Heaven and they had continued to ascend through it, (Ⅱ)
- And even if We opened unto them a gate of heaven and they kept mounting through it, (Ⅲ)
- Though We opened to them a gate in heaven, and still they mounted through it, (Ⅳ)
- Even if We opened out to them a gate from heaven, and they were to continue (all day) ascending therein, (Ⅵ)
15. 15  
لَقَالُوا إِنَّمَا سُكِّرَتْ أَبْصَارُنَا بَلْ نَحْنُ قَوْمٌ مَّسْحُورُونَ
- Laqaloo innama sukkirat absaruna bal nahnu qawmun mashooroona (Ⅰ)
- They would only say, "Our eye-sight is only intoxicated; nay, we have been bewitched by sorcery (or hypnotized)!" (Ⅱ)
- They would say: Our sight is wrong - nay, but we are folk bewitched. (Ⅲ)
- yet would they say, ´Our eyes have been dazzled; nay, we are a people bewitched!´ (Ⅳ)
- They would only say: "Our eyes have been intoxicated: Nay, we have been bewitched by sorcery." (Ⅵ)
15. 16  
وَلَقَدْ جَعَلْنَا فِي السَّمَاءِ بُرُوجًا وَزَيَّنَّاهَا لِلنَّاظِرِينَ
- Walaqad jaAAalna fee alssamai buroojan wazayyannaha lilnnathireena (Ⅰ)
- And We have placed in the sky the Signs of the Zodiac (or mansions or constellations of stars), and have made them beautiful to the beholders; (Ⅱ)
- And verily in the heaven we have set mansions of the stars, and We have beautified it for beholders. (Ⅲ)
- We have set in heaven constellations and decked them out fair to the beholders, (Ⅳ)
- It is We Who have set out the zodiacal signs in the heavens, and made them fair-seeming to (all) beholders; (Ⅵ)
15. 17  
وَحَفِظْنَاهَا مِن كُلِّ شَيْطَانٍ رَّجِيمٍ
- Wahafithnaha min kulli shaytanin rajeemin (Ⅰ)
- And We have guarded them from every accursed (rejected, pelted) devil (or evil spirit); (Ⅱ)
- And We have guarded it from every outcast devil, (Ⅲ)
- and guarded them from every accursed Satan (Ⅳ)
- And (moreover) We have guarded them from every cursed devil: (Ⅵ)
15. 18  
إِلَّا مَنِ اسْتَرَقَ السَّمْعَ فَأَتْبَعَهُ شِهَابٌ مُّبِينٌ
- Illa mani istaraqa alssamAAa faatbaAAahu shihabun mubeenun (Ⅰ)
- But any that steal a hearing, there follows him a bright flaming fire (or shooting star). (Ⅱ)
- Save him who stealeth the hearing, and them doth a clear flame pursue. (Ⅲ)
- excepting such as listens by stealth -- and he is pursued by a manifest flame. (Ⅳ)
- But any that gains a hearing by stealth, is pursued by a flaming fire, bright (to see). (Ⅵ)
15. 19  
وَالْأَرْضَ مَدَدْنَاهَا وَأَلْقَيْنَا فِيهَا رَوَاسِيَ وَأَنبَتْنَا فِيهَا مِن كُلِّ شَيْءٍ مَّوْزُونٍ
- Waalarda madadnaha waalqayna feeha rawasiya waanbatna feeha min kulli shayin mawzoonin (Ⅰ)
- And the earth have We spread out and placed on it firm mountains, and have caused to grow upon it of everything in balanced measure. (Ⅱ)
- And the earth have We spread out, and placed therein firm hills, and caused each seemly thing to grow therein. (Ⅲ)
- And the earth -- We stretched it forth, and cast on it firm mountains, and We caused to grow therein of every thing justly weighed, (Ⅳ)
- And the earth We have spread out (like a carpet); set thereon mountains firm and immovable; and produced therein all kinds of things in due balance. (Ⅵ)
15. 20  
وَجَعَلْنَا لَكُمْ فِيهَا مَعَايِشَ وَمَن لَّسْتُمْ لَهُ بِرَازِقِينَ
- WajaAAalna lakum feeha maAAayisha waman lastum lahu biraziqeena (Ⅰ)
- And We have made for you means of livelihood therein, and for those for whom you provide not (or for whom you are not responsible). (Ⅱ)
- And we have given unto you livelihoods therein, and unto those for whom ye provide not. (Ⅲ)
- and there appointed for you livelihood, and for those you provide not for. (Ⅳ)
- And We have provided therein means of subsistence,- for you and for those for whose sustenance ye are not responsible. (Ⅵ)
15. 21  
وَإِن مِّن شَيْءٍ إِلَّا عِندَنَا خَزَائِنُهُ وَمَا نُنَزِّلُهُ إِلَّا بِقَدَرٍ مَّعْلُومٍ
- Wain min shayin illa AAindana khazainuhu wama nunazziluhu illa biqadarin maAAloomin (Ⅰ)
- Nor is there aught but the treasuries (storehouses) of it are with Us, and We do not send it down save in a noted quantity (ascertainable measure). (Ⅱ)
- And there is not a thing but with Us are the stores thereof. And we send it not down save in appointed measure. (Ⅲ)
- Naught is there, but its treasuries are with Us, and We send it not down but in a known measure. (Ⅳ)
- And there is not a thing but its (sources and) treasures (inexhaustible) are with Us; but We only send down thereof in due and ascertainable measures. (Ⅵ)
15. 22  
وَأَرْسَلْنَا الرِّيَاحَ لَوَاقِحَ فَأَنزَلْنَا مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مَاءً فَأَسْقَيْنَاكُمُوهُ وَمَا أَنتُمْ لَهُ بِخَازِنِينَ
- Waarsalna alrriyaha lawaqiha faanzalna mina alssamai maan faasqaynakumoohu wama antum lahu bikhazineena (Ⅰ)
- And We send forth the impregnating (fertilizing, invigorating, fecundating) winds, and We send down water from the sky, and We give it to you to drink. It is not you who hold the store thereof. (Ⅱ)
- And We send the winds fertilising, and cause water to descend from the sky, and give it you to drink. It is not ye who are the holders of the store thereof. (Ⅲ)
- And We loose the winds fertilising, and We send down out of heaven water, then We give it to you to drink, and you are not its treasurers. (Ⅳ)
- And We send the fecundating winds, then cause the rain to descend from the sky, therewith providing you with water (in abundance), though ye are not the guardians of its stores. (Ⅵ)
15. 23  
وَإِنَّا لَنَحْنُ نُحْيِي وَنُمِيتُ وَنَحْنُ الْوَارِثُونَ
- Wainna lanahnu nuhyee wanumeetu wanahnu alwarithoona (Ⅰ)
- And We, verily, We quicken and kill; and We are of all things the Inheritor. (Ⅱ)
- Lo! and it is We, even We, Who quicken and give death, and We are the Inheritor. (Ⅲ)
- It is We who give life, and make to die, and it is We who are the inheritors. (Ⅳ)
- And verily, it is We Who give life, and Who give death: it is We Who remain inheritors (after all else passes away). (Ⅵ)
15. 24  
وَلَقَدْ عَلِمْنَا الْمُسْتَقْدِمِينَ مِنكُمْ وَلَقَدْ عَلِمْنَا الْمُسْتَأْخِرِينَ
- Walaqad AAalimna almustaqdimeena minkum walaqad AAalimna almustakhireena (Ⅰ)
- And We already know the foremost of you, and We know the laggards. (Ⅱ)
- And verily We know the eager among you and verily We know the laggards. (Ⅲ)
- We know the ones of you who press forward, and We know the laggards; (Ⅳ)
- To Us are known those of you who hasten forward, and those who lag behind. (Ⅵ)
15. 25  
وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ يَحْشُرُهُمْ ۚ إِنَّهُ حَكِيمٌ عَلِيمٌ
- Wainna rabbaka huwa yahshuruhum innahu hakeemun AAaleemun (Ⅰ)
- And, verily, it is your Lord who will gather you; verily, He is Wise, Aware. (Ⅱ)
- Lo! thy Lord will gather them together. Lo! He is Wise, Aware. (Ⅲ)
- and it is thy Lord shall muster them, and He is All-wise, All-knowing. (Ⅳ)
- Assuredly it is thy Lord Who will gather them together: for He is perfect in Wisdom and Knowledge. (Ⅵ)
15. 26  
وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا الْإِنسَانَ مِن صَلْصَالٍ مِّنْ حَمَإٍ مَّسْنُونٍ
- Walaqad khalaqna alinsana min salsalin min hamain masnoonin (Ⅰ)
- And We did create man from potter´s (or sound emitting) clay of black mud wrought into form. (Ⅱ)
- Verily We created man of potter's clay of black mud altered, (Ⅲ)
- Surely We created man of a clay of mud moulded, (Ⅳ)
- We created man from sounding clay, from mud moulded into shape; (Ⅵ)
15. 27  
وَالْجَانَّ خَلَقْنَاهُ مِن قَبْلُ مِن نَّارِ السَّمُومِ
- Waaljanna khalaqnahu min qablu min nari alssamoomi (Ⅰ)
- And the jinn We created before of smokeless fire (or scorched wind). (Ⅱ)
- And the jinn did We create aforetime of essential fire. (Ⅲ)
- and the jinn created We before of fire flaming. (Ⅳ)
- And the Jinn race, We had created before, from the fire of a scorching wind. (Ⅵ)
15. 28  
وَإِذْ قَالَ رَبُّكَ لِلْمَلَائِكَةِ إِنِّي خَالِقٌ بَشَرًا مِّن صَلْصَالٍ مِّنْ حَمَإٍ مَّسْنُونٍ
- Waith qala rabbuka lilmalaikati innee khaliqun basharan min salsalin min hamain masnoonin (Ⅰ)
- When your Lord said to the angels, "Verily, I am creating a mortal from (sound-emitting) clay of black mud wrought into shape; (Ⅱ)
- And (remember) when thy Lord said unto the angels: Lo! I am creating a mortal out of potter's clay of black mud altered, (Ⅲ)
- And when thy Lord said to the angels, ´See, I am creating a mortal of a clay of mud moulded. (Ⅳ)
- Behold! thy Lord said to the angels: "I am about to create man, from sounding clay from mud moulded into shape; (Ⅵ)
15. 29  
فَإِذَا سَوَّيْتُهُ وَنَفَخْتُ فِيهِ مِن رُّوحِي فَقَعُوا لَهُ سَاجِدِينَ
- Faitha sawwaytuhu wanafakhtu feehi min roohee faqaAAoo lahu sajideena (Ⅰ)
- So when I have fashioned it, and breathed into it of My Spirit, then fall you down before him, prostrating yourselves before him (in obeisance)." (Ⅱ)
- So, when I have made him and have breathed into him of My Spirit, do ye fall down, prostrating yourselves unto him. (Ⅲ)
- When I have shaped him, and breathed My spirit in him, fall you down, bowing before him!´ (Ⅳ)
- "When I have fashioned him (in due proportion) and breathed into him of My spirit, fall ye down in obeisance unto him." (Ⅵ)
15. 30  
فَسَجَدَ الْمَلَائِكَةُ كُلُّهُمْ أَجْمَعُونَ
- Fasajada almalaikatu kulluhum ajmaAAoona (Ⅰ)
- So the angels fell prostrate in obeisance, all of them together, (Ⅱ)
- So the angels fell prostrate, all of them together (Ⅲ)
- Then the angels bowed themselves all together, (Ⅳ)
- So the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together: (Ⅵ)
15. 31  
إِلَّا إِبْلِيسَ أَبَىٰ أَن يَكُونَ مَعَ السَّاجِدِينَ
- Illa ibleesa aba an yakoona maAAa alssajideena (Ⅰ)
- Save Iblis, who refused to be among the prostrate. (Ⅱ)
- Save Iblis. He refused to be among the prostrate. (Ⅲ)
- save Iblis; he refused to be among those bowing. (Ⅳ)
- Not so Iblis: he refused to be among those who prostrated themselves. (Ⅵ)
15. 32  
قَالَ يَا إِبْلِيسُ مَا لَكَ أَلَّا تَكُونَ مَعَ السَّاجِدِينَ
- Qala ya ibleesu ma laka alla takoona maAAa alssajideena (Ⅰ)
- He said, "O Iblis! What ails you that you are not among the prostrate?" (Ⅱ)
- He said: O Iblis! What aileth thee that thou art not among the prostrate ? (Ⅲ)
- Said He, ´What ails thee, Iblis, that thou art not among those bowing?´ (Ⅳ)
- (Allah) said: "O Iblis! what is your reason for not being among those who prostrated themselves?" (Ⅵ)
15. 33  
قَالَ لَمْ أَكُن لِّأَسْجُدَ لِبَشَرٍ خَلَقْتَهُ مِن صَلْصَالٍ مِّنْ حَمَإٍ مَّسْنُونٍ
- Qala lam akun liasjuda libasharin khalaqtahu min salsalin min hamain masnoonin (Ⅰ)
- Said he, "Why should I prostrate myself before a mortal whom you have created from potter´s (sound emitting) clay of black mud wrought into form." (Ⅱ)
- He said: I am not one to prostrate myself unto a mortal whom Thou hast created out of potter's clay of black mud altered! (Ⅲ)
- Said he, ´I would never bow myself before a mortal whom Thou hast created of a clay of mud moulded.´ (Ⅳ)
- (Iblis) said: "I am not one to prostrate myself to man, whom Thou didst create from sounding clay, from mud moulded into shape." (Ⅵ)
15. 34  
قَالَ فَاخْرُجْ مِنْهَا فَإِنَّكَ رَجِيمٌ
- Qala faokhruj minha fainnaka rajeemun (Ⅰ)
- He said, "Then get you forth from hence, for verily, you are an outcast (rejected, accursed, pelted). (Ⅱ)
- He said: Then go thou forth from hence, for lo! thou art outcast. (Ⅲ)
- Said He, ´Then go thou forth hence; thou art accursed. (Ⅳ)
- (Allah) said: "Then get thee out from here; for thou art rejected, accursed. (Ⅵ)
15. 35  
وَإِنَّ عَلَيْكَ اللَّعْنَةَ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ الدِّينِ
- Wainna AAalayka allaAAnata ila yawmi alddeeni (Ⅰ)
- "And, verily, the curse shall be upon you until the Day of Judgment." (Ⅱ)
- And lo! the curse shall be upon thee till the Day of Judgment. (Ⅲ)
- Upon thee shall rest the curse, till the Day of Doom.´ (Ⅳ)
- "And the curse shall be on thee till the day of Judgment." (Ⅵ)
15. 36  
قَالَ رَبِّ فَأَنظِرْنِي إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ يُبْعَثُونَ
- Qala rabbi faanthirnee ila yawmi yubAAathoona (Ⅰ)
- Said he, "O my Lord! Reprieve me until the day when they shall be raised." (Ⅱ)
- He said: My Lord! Reprieve me till the day when they are raised. (Ⅲ)
- Said he, ´My Lord, respite me till the day they shall be raised.´ (Ⅳ)
- (Iblis) said: "O my Lord! give me then respite till the Day the (dead) are raised." (Ⅵ)
15. 37  
قَالَ فَإِنَّكَ مِنَ الْمُنظَرِينَ
- Qala fainnaka mina almunthareena (Ⅰ)
- He said, "Then, verily, you are of the reprieved (Ⅱ)
- He said: Then lo! thou art of those reprieved (Ⅲ)
- Said He, ´Thou art among the ones that are respited (Ⅳ)
- (Allah) said: "Respite is granted thee (Ⅵ)
15. 38  
إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ الْوَقْتِ الْمَعْلُومِ
- Ila yawmi alwaqti almaAAloomi (Ⅰ)
- Until the Day of the Appointed Time." (Ⅱ)
- Till the Day of appointed time. (Ⅲ)
- unto the day of a known time.´ (Ⅳ)
- "Till the Day of the Time appointed." (Ⅵ)
15. 39  
قَالَ رَبِّ بِمَا أَغْوَيْتَنِي لَأُزَيِّنَنَّ لَهُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَأُغْوِيَنَّهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ
- Qala rabbi bima aghwaytanee laozayyinanna lahum fee alardi walaoghwiyannahum ajmaAAeena (Ⅰ)
- He said, "O my Lord! Because you have put me in the wrong I will surely make wrong seemly for them on earth, and I will put them all in the wrong; (Ⅱ)
- He said: My Lord! Because Thou hast sent me astray, I verily shall adorn the path of error for them in the earth, and shall mislead them every one, (Ⅲ)
- Said he, ´My Lord, for Thy perverting me I shall deck all fair to them in the earth, and I shall pervert them, all together, (Ⅳ)
- (Iblis) said: "O my Lord! because Thou hast put me in the wrong, I will make (wrong) fair-seeming to them on the earth, and I will put them all in the wrong,- (Ⅵ)
15. 40  
إِلَّا عِبَادَكَ مِنْهُمُ الْمُخْلَصِينَ
- Illa AAibadaka minhumu almukhlaseena (Ⅰ)
- "Save such of your servants as are sincere and purified." (Ⅱ)
- Save such of them as are Thy perfectly devoted slaves. (Ⅲ)
- excepting those Thy servants among them that are devoted. (Ⅳ)
- "Except Thy servants among them, sincere and purified (by Thy Grace)." (Ⅵ)
15. 41  
قَالَ هَٰذَا صِرَاطٌ عَلَيَّ مُسْتَقِيمٌ
- Qala hatha siratun AAalayya mustaqeemun (Ⅰ)
- Said He, "This is a Straight Way which leads to Me (or is incumbent upon Me). (Ⅱ)
- He said: This is a right course incumbent upon Me: (Ⅲ)
- Said He, ´This is for Me a straight path: (Ⅳ)
- (Allah) said: "This (way of My sincere servants) is indeed a way that leads straight to Me. (Ⅵ)
15. 42  
إِنَّ عِبَادِي لَيْسَ لَكَ عَلَيْهِمْ سُلْطَانٌ إِلَّا مَنِ اتَّبَعَكَ مِنَ الْغَاوِينَ
- Inna AAibadee laysa laka AAalayhim sultanun illa mani ittabaAAaka mina alghaweena (Ⅰ)
- Verily, over My servants you have no authority, save such of the misguided (or rebellious) as follow you. (Ⅱ)
- Lo! as for My slaves, thou hast no power over any of them save such of the froward as follow thee, (Ⅲ)
- over My servants thou shalt have no authority, except those that follow thee, (Ⅳ)
- "For over My servants no authority shalt thou have, except such as put themselves in the wrong and follow thee." (Ⅵ)
15. 43  
وَإِنَّ جَهَنَّمَ لَمَوْعِدُهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ
- Wainna jahannama lamawAAiduhum ajmaAAeena (Ⅰ)
- And, verily, hell is promised to them all. (Ⅱ)
- And lo! for all such, hell will be the promised place. (Ⅲ)
- being perverse; Gehenna shall be their promised land all together. (Ⅳ)
- And verily, Hell is the promised abode for them all! (Ⅵ)
15. 44  
لَهَا سَبْعَةُ أَبْوَابٍ لِّكُلِّ بَابٍ مِّنْهُمْ جُزْءٌ مَّقْسُومٌ
- Laha sabAAatu abwabin likulli babin minhum juzon maqsoomun (Ⅰ)
- It has seven gates (entrances); to each gate (entrance) is assigned a certain class (or portion)." (Ⅱ)
- It hath seven gates, and each gate hath an appointed portion. (Ⅲ)
- Seven gates it has, and unto each gate a set portion of them belongs.´ (Ⅳ)
- To it are seven gates: for each of those gates is a (special) class (of sinners) assigned. (Ⅵ)
15. 45  
إِنَّ الْمُتَّقِينَ فِي جَنَّاتٍ وَعُيُونٍ
- Inna almuttaqeena fee jannatin waAAuyoonin (Ⅰ)
- Verily, those who fear Allah shall dwell amidst gardens and springs: (Ⅱ)
- Lo! those who ward off (evil) are among gardens and watersprings. (Ⅲ)
- But the godfearing shall be amidst gardens and fountains: (Ⅳ)
- The righteous (will be) amid gardens and fountains (of clear-flowing water). (Ⅵ)
15. 46  
ادْخُلُوهَا بِسَلَامٍ آمِنِينَ
- Odkhulooha bisalamin amineena (Ⅰ)
- (It will be said to them) "Enter you therein in peace and safety!" (Ⅱ)
- (And it is said unto them): Enter them in peace, secure. (Ⅲ)
- ´Enter you them, in peace and security!´ (Ⅳ)
- (Their greeting will be): "Enter ye here in peace and security." (Ⅵ)
15. 47  
وَنَزَعْنَا مَا فِي صُدُورِهِم مِّنْ غِلٍّ إِخْوَانًا عَلَىٰ سُرُرٍ مُّتَقَابِلِينَ
- WanazaAAna ma fee sudoorihim min ghillin ikhwanan AAala sururin mutaqabileena (Ⅰ)
- And We will strip off whatever ill-feeling is in their breasts; as brethren they rest on couches face to face. (Ⅱ)
- And We remove whatever rancour may be in their breasts. As brethren, face to face, (they rest) on couches raised. (Ⅲ)
- We shall strip away all rancour that is in their breasts; as brothers they shall be upon couches set face to face; (Ⅳ)
- And We shall remove from their hearts any lurking sense of injury: (they will be) brothers (joyfully) facing each other on thrones (of dignity). (Ⅵ)
15. 48  
لَا يَمَسُّهُمْ فِيهَا نَصَبٌ وَمَا هُم مِّنْهَا بِمُخْرَجِينَ
- La yamassuhum feeha nasabun wama hum minha bimukhrajeena (Ⅰ)
- No toil shall touch them therein, nor shall they be expelled there from. (Ⅱ)
- Toil cometh not unto them there, nor will they be expelled from thence. (Ⅲ)
- no fatigue there shall smite them, neither shall they ever be driven forth from there. (Ⅳ)
- There no sense of fatigue shall touch them, nor shall they (ever) be asked to leave. (Ⅵ)
15. 49  
۞ نَبِّئْ عِبَادِي أَنِّي أَنَا الْغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ
- Nabbi AAibadee annee ana alghafooru alrraheemu (Ⅰ)
- Inform my servants that I am the Forgiving, the Merciful; (Ⅱ)
- Announce, (O Muhammad) unto My slaves that verily I am the Forgiving, the Merciful, (Ⅲ)
- Tell My servants I am the All-forgiving, the All-compassionate, (Ⅳ)
- Tell My servants that I am indeed the Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful; (Ⅵ)
