11. 1

And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech.

- Toute la terre avait une seule langue et les mêmes mots. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἠ̃ν πα̃σα ἡ γη̃ χει̃λος ἕν καὶ φωνὴ μία πα̃σιν (Ⅲ)

- Erat autem terra labii unius, et sermonum eorumdem. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 1 ׃11 ויהי כל הארץ שפה אחת ודברים אחדים ‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 2

And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar; and they dwelt there.

- Comme ils étaient partis de l'orient, ils trouvèrent une plaine au pays de Schinear, et ils y habitèrent. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἐγένετο ἐν τω̨̃ κινη̃σαι αὐτοὺς ἀπὸ ἀνατολω̃ν εὑ̃ρον πεδίον ἐν γη̨̃ Σεννααρ καὶ κατώ̨κησαν ἐκει̃ (Ⅲ)

- Cumque proficiscerentur de oriente, invenerunt campum in terra Sennaar, et habitaverunt in eo. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 2 ׃11 ויהי בנסעם מקדם וימצאו בקעה בארץ שנער וישבו שם ‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 3

And they said one to another, Go to, let us make brick, and burn them thoroughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for mortar.

- Ils se dirent l'un à l'autre: Allons! faisons des briques, et cuisons-les au feu. Et la brique leur servit de pierre, et le bitume leur servit de ciment. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ εἰ̃πεν ἄνθρωπος τω̨̃ πλησίον δευ̃τε πλινθεύσωμεν πλίνθους καὶ ὀπτήσωμεν αὐτὰς πυρί καὶ ἐγένετο αὐτοι̃ς ἡ πλίνθος εἰς λίθον καὶ ἄσφαλτος ἠ̃ν αὐτοι̃ς ὁ πηλός (Ⅲ)

- Dixitque alter ad proximum suum : Venite, faciamus lateres, et coquamus eos igni. Habueruntque lateres pro saxis, et bitumen pro cæmento : (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 3 ׃11 ויאמרו איש אל רעהו הבה נלבנה לבנים ונשרפה לשרפה ותהי להם הלבנה לאבן והחמר היה להם לחמר ‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 4

And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth.

- Ils dirent encore: Allons! bâtissons-nous une ville et une tour dont le sommet touche au ciel, et faisons-nous un nom, afin que nous ne soyons pas dispersés sur la face de toute la terre. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ εἰ̃παν δευ̃τε οἰκοδομήσωμεν ἑαυτοι̃ς πόλιν καὶ πύργον οὑ̃ ἡ κεφαλὴ ἔσται ἕως του̃ οὐρανου̃ καὶ ποιήσωμεν ἑαυτοι̃ς ὄνομα πρὸ του̃ διασπαρη̃ναι ἐπὶ προσώπου πάσης τη̃ς γη̃ς (Ⅲ)

- et dixerunt : Venite, faciamus nobis civitatem et turrim, cujus culmen pertingat ad cælum : et celebremus nomen nostrum antequam dividamur in universas terras. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 4 ׃11 ויאמרו הבה נבנה לנו עיר ומגדל וראשו בשמים ונעשה לנו שם פן נפוץ על פני כל הארץ ‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 5

And the LORD came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded.

- L'Éternel descendit pour voir la ville et la tour que bâtissaient les fils des hommes. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ κατέβη κύριος ἰδει̃ν τὴν πόλιν καὶ τὸν πύργον ὃν ὠ̨κοδόμησαν οἱ υἱοὶ τω̃ν ἀνθρώπων (Ⅲ)

- Descendit autem Dominus ut videret civitatem et turrim, quam ædificabant filii Adam, (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 5 ׃11 וירד יהוה לראת את העיר ואת המגדל אשר בנו בני האדם ‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 6

And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.

- Et l'Éternel dit: Voici, ils forment un seul peuple et ont tous une même langue, et c'est là ce qu'ils ont entrepris; maintenant rien ne les empêcherait de faire tout ce qu'ils auraient projeté. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ εἰ̃πεν κύριος ἰδοὺ γένος ἓν καὶ χει̃λος ἓν πάντων καὶ του̃το ἤρξαντο ποιη̃σαι καὶ νυ̃ν οὐκ ἐκλείψει ἐξ αὐτω̃ν πάντα ὅσα ἂν ἐπιθω̃νται ποιει̃ν (Ⅲ)

- et dixit : Ecce, unus est populus, et unum labium omnibus : cœperuntque hoc facere, nec desistent a cogitationibus suis, donec eas opere compleant. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 6 ׃11 ויאמר יהוה הן עם אחד ושפה אחת לכלם וזה החלם לעשות ועתה לא יבצר מהם כל אשר יזמו לעשות ‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 7

Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech.

- Allons! descendons, et là confondons leur langage, afin qu'ils n'entendent plus la langue, les uns des autres. (Ⅱ)

- δευ̃τε καὶ καταβάντες συγχέωμεν ἐκει̃ αὐτω̃ν τὴν γλω̃σσαν ἵνα μὴ ἀκούσωσιν ἕκαστος τὴν φωνὴν του̃ πλησίον (Ⅲ)

- Venite igitur, descendamus, et confundamus ibi linguam eorum, ut non audiat unusquisque vocem proximi sui. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 7 ׃11 הבה נרדה ונבלה שם שפתם אשר לא ישמעו איש שפת רעהו ‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 8

So the LORD scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city.

- Et l'Éternel les dispersa loin de là sur la face de toute la terre; et ils cessèrent de bâtir la ville. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ διέσπειρεν αὐτοὺς κύριος ἐκει̃θεν ἐπὶ πρόσωπον πάσης τη̃ς γη̃ς καὶ ἐπαύσαντο οἰκοδομου̃ντες τὴν πόλιν καὶ τὸν πύργον (Ⅲ)

- Atque ita divisit eos Dominus ex illo loco in universas terras, et cessaverunt ædificare civitatem. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 8 ׃11 ויפץ יהוה אתם משם על פני כל הארץ ויחדלו לבנת העיר ‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 9

Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the LORD did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the LORD scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth.

- C'est pourquoi on l'appela du nom de Babel, car c'est là que l'Éternel confondit le langage de toute la terre, et c'est de là que l'Éternel les dispersa sur la face de toute la terre. (Ⅱ)

- διὰ του̃το ἐκλήθη τὸ ὄνομα αὐτη̃ς Σύγχυσις ὅτι ἐκει̃ συνέχεεν κύριος τὰ χείλη πάσης τη̃ς γη̃ς καὶ ἐκει̃θεν διέσπειρεν αὐτοὺς κύριος ὁ θεὸς ἐπὶ πρόσωπον πάσης τη̃ς γη̃ς (Ⅲ)

- Et idcirco vocatum est nomen ejus Babel, quia ibi confusum est labium universæ terræ : et inde dispersit eos Dominus super faciem cunctarum regionum.\ (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 9 ׃11 על כן קרא שמה בבל כי שם בלל יהוה שפת כל הארץ ומשם הפיצם יהוה על פני כל הארץ פ‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 10

These are the generations of Shem: Shem was an hundred years old, and begat Arphaxad two years after the flood:

- Voici la postérité de Sem. Sem, âgé de cent ans, engendra Arpacschad, deux ans après le déluge. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ αὑ̃ται αἱ γενέσεις Σημ Σημ υἱὸς ἑκατὸν ἐτω̃ν ὅτε ἐγέννησεν τὸν Αρφαξαδ δευτέρου ἔτους μετὰ τὸν κατακλυσμόν (Ⅲ)

- Hæ sunt generationes Sem : Sem erat centum annorum quando genuit Arphaxad, biennio post diluvium. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 10 ׃11 אלה תולדת שם שם בן מאת שנה ויולד את ארפכשד שנתים אחר המבול ‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 11

And Shem lived after he begat Arphaxad five hundred years, and begat sons and daughters.

- Sem vécut, après la naissance d'Arpacschad, cinq cents ans; et il engendra des fils et des filles. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἔζησεν Σημ μετὰ τὸ γεννη̃σαι αὐτὸν τὸν Αρφαξαδ πεντακόσια ἔτη καὶ ἐγέννησεν υἱοὺς καὶ θυγατέρας καὶ ἀπέθανεν (Ⅲ)

- Vixitque Sem, postquam genuit Arphaxad, quingentis annis : et genuit filios et filias. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 11 ׃11 ויחי שם אחרי הולידו את ארפכשד חמש מאות שנה ויולד בנים ובנות ס‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 12

And Arphaxad lived five and thirty years, and begat Salah:

- Arpacschad, âgé de trente-cinq ans, engendra Schélach. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἔζησεν Αρφαξαδ ἑκατὸν τριάκοντα πέντε ἔτη καὶ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Καιναν (Ⅲ)

- Porro Arphaxad vixit triginta quinque annis, et genuit Sale. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 12 ׃11 וארפכשד חי חמש ושלשים שנה ויולד את שלח ‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 13

And Arphaxad lived after he begat Salah four hundred and three years, and begat sons and daughters.

- Arpacschad vécut, après la naissance de Schélach, quatre cent trois ans; et il engendra des fils et des filles. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἔζησεν Αρφαξαδ μετὰ τὸ γεννη̃σαι αὐτὸν τὸν Καιναν ἔτη τετρακόσια τριάκοντα καὶ ἐγέννησεν υἱοὺς καὶ θυγατέρας καὶ ἀπέθανεν καὶ ἔζησεν Καιναν ἑκατὸν τριάκοντα ἔτη καὶ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Σαλα καὶ ἔζησεν Καιναν μετὰ τὸ γεννη̃σαι αὐτὸν τὸν Σαλα ἔτη τριακόσια τριάκοντα καὶ ἐγέννησεν υἱοὺς καὶ θυγατέρας καὶ ἀπέθανεν (Ⅲ)

- Vixitque Arphaxad, postquam genuit Sale, trecentis tribus annis : et genuit filios et filias. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 13 ׃11 ויחי ארפכשד אחרי הולידו את שלח שלש שנים וארבע מאות שנה ויולד בנים ובנות ס‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 14

And Salah lived thirty years, and begat Eber:

- Schélach, âgé de trente ans, engendra Héber. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἔζησεν Σαλα ἑκατὸν τριάκοντα ἔτη καὶ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Εβερ (Ⅲ)

- Sale quoque vixit triginta annis, et genuit Heber. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 14 ׃11 ושלח חי שלשים שנה ויולד את עבר ‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 15

And Salah lived after he begat Eber four hundred and three years, and begat sons and daughters.

- Schélach vécut, après la naissance d'Héber, quatre cent trois ans; et il engendra des fils et des filles. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἔζησεν Σαλα μετὰ τὸ γεννη̃σαι αὐτὸν τὸν Εβερ τριακόσια τριάκοντα ἔτη καὶ ἐγέννησεν υἱοὺς καὶ θυγατέρας καὶ ἀπέθανεν (Ⅲ)

- Vixitque Sale, postquam genuit Heber, quadringentis tribus annis : et genuit filios et filias. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 15 ׃11 ויחי שלח אחרי הולידו את עבר שלש שנים וארבע מאות שנה ויולד בנים ובנות ס‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 16

And Eber lived four and thirty years, and begat Peleg:

- Héber, âgé de trente-quatre ans, engendra Péleg. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἔζησεν Εβερ ἑκατὸν τριάκοντα τέσσαρα ἔτη καὶ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Φαλεκ (Ⅲ)

- Vixit autem Heber triginta quatuor annis, et genuit Phaleg. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 16 ׃11 ויחי עבר ארבע ושלשים שנה ויולד את פלג ‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 17

And Eber lived after he begat Peleg four hundred and thirty years, and begat sons and daughters.

- Héber vécut, après la naissance de Péleg, quatre cent trente ans; et il engendra des fils et des filles. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἔζησεν Εβερ μετὰ τὸ γεννη̃σαι αὐτὸν τὸν Φαλεκ ἔτη τριακόσια ἑβδομήκοντα καὶ ἐγέννησεν υἱοὺς καὶ θυγατέρας καὶ ἀπέθανεν (Ⅲ)

- Et vixit Heber postquam genuit Phaleg, quadringentis triginta annis : et genuit filios et filias. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 17 ׃11 ויחי עבר אחרי הולידו את פלג שלשים שנה וארבע מאות שנה ויולד בנים ובנות ס‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 18

And Peleg lived thirty years, and begat Reu:

- Péleg, âgé de trente ans, engendra Rehu. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἔζησεν Φαλεκ ἑκατὸν τριάκοντα ἔτη καὶ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Ραγαυ (Ⅲ)

- Vixit quoque Phaleg triginta annis, et genuit Reu. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 18 ׃11 ויחי פלג שלשים שנה ויולד את רעו ‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 19

And Peleg lived after he begat Reu two hundred and nine years, and begat sons and daughters.

- Péleg vécut, après la naissance de Rehu, deux cent neuf ans; et il engendra des fils et des filles. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἔζησεν Φαλεκ μετὰ τὸ γεννη̃σαι αὐτὸν τὸν Ραγαυ διακόσια ἐννέα ἔτη καὶ ἐγέννησεν υἱοὺς καὶ θυγατέρας καὶ ἀπέθανεν (Ⅲ)

- Vixitque Phaleg, postquam genuit Reu, ducentis novem annis : et genuit filios et filias. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 19 ׃11 ויחי פלג אחרי הולידו את רעו תשע שנים ומאתים שנה ויולד בנים ובנות ס‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 20

And Reu lived two and thirty years, and begat Serug:

- Rehu, âgé de trente-deux ans, engendra Serug. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἔζησεν Ραγαυ ἑκατὸν τριάκοντα δύο ἔτη καὶ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Σερουχ (Ⅲ)

- Vixit autem Reu triginta duobus annis, et genuit Sarug. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 20 ׃11 ויחי רעו שתים ושלשים שנה ויולד את שרוג ‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 21

And Reu lived after he begat Serug two hundred and seven years, and begat sons and daughters.

- Rehu vécut, après la naissance de Serug, deux cent sept ans; et il engendra des fils et des filles. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἔζησεν Ραγαυ μετὰ τὸ γεννη̃σαι αὐτὸν τὸν Σερουχ διακόσια ἑπτὰ ἔτη καὶ ἐγέννησεν υἱοὺς καὶ θυγατέρας καὶ ἀπέθανεν (Ⅲ)

- Vixit quoque Reu, postquam genuit Sarug, ducentis septem annis : et genuit filios et filias. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 21 ׃11 ויחי רעו אחרי הולידו את שרוג שבע שנים ומאתים שנה ויולד בנים ובנות ס‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 22

And Serug lived thirty years, and begat Nahor:

- Serug, âgé de trente ans, engendra Nachor. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἔζησεν Σερουχ ἑκατὸν τριάκοντα ἔτη καὶ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Ναχωρ (Ⅲ)

- Vixit vero Sarug triginta annis, et genuit Nachor. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 22 ׃11 ויחי שרוג שלשים שנה ויולד את נחור ‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 23

And Serug lived after he begat Nahor two hundred years, and begat sons and daughters.

- Serug vécut, après la naissance de Nachor, deux cents ans; et il engendra des fils et des filles. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἔζησεν Σερουχ μετὰ τὸ γεννη̃σαι αὐτὸν τὸν Ναχωρ ἔτη διακόσια καὶ ἐγέννησεν υἱοὺς καὶ θυγατέρας καὶ ἀπέθανεν (Ⅲ)

- Vixitque Sarug, postquam genuit Nachor, ducentis annis : et genuit filios et filias. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 23 ׃11 ויחי שרוג אחרי הולידו את נחור מאתים שנה ויולד בנים ובנות ס‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 24

And Nahor lived nine and twenty years, and begat Terah:

- Nachor, âgé de vingt-neuf ans, engendra Térach. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἔζησεν Ναχωρ ἔτη ἑβδομήκοντα ἐννέα καὶ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Θαρα (Ⅲ)

- Vixit autem Nachor viginti novem annis, et genuit Thare. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 24 ׃11 ויחי נחור תשע ועשרים שנה ויולד את תרח ‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 25

And Nahor lived after he begat Terah an hundred and nineteen years, and begat sons and daughters.

- Nachor vécut, après la naissance de Térach, cent dix-neuf ans; et il engendra des fils et des filles. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἔζησεν Ναχωρ μετὰ τὸ γεννη̃σαι αὐτὸν τὸν Θαρα ἔτη ἑκατὸν εἴκοσι ἐννέα καὶ ἐγέννησεν υἱοὺς καὶ θυγατέρας καὶ ἀπέθανεν (Ⅲ)

- Vixitque Nachor, postquam genuit Thare, centum decem et novem annis : et genuit filios et filias. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 25 ׃11 ויחי נחור אחרי הולידו את תרח תשע עשרה שנה ומאת שנה ויולד בנים ובנות ס‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 26

And Terah lived seventy years, and begat Abram, Nahor, and Haran.

- Térach, âgé de soixante-dix ans, engendra Abram, Nachor et Haran. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἔζησεν Θαρα ἑβδομήκοντα ἔτη καὶ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Αβραμ καὶ τὸν Ναχωρ καὶ τὸν Αρραν (Ⅲ)

- Vixitque Thare septuaginta annis, et genuit Abram, et Nachor, et Aran.\ (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 26 ׃11 ויחי תרח שבעים שנה ויולד את אברם את נחור ואת הרן ‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 27

Now these are the generations of Terah: Terah begat Abram, Nahor, and Haran; and Haran begat Lot.

- Voici la postérité de Térach. Térach engendra Abram, Nachor et Haran. -Haran engendra Lot. (Ⅱ)

- αὑ̃ται δὲ αἱ γενέσεις Θαρα Θαρα ἐγέννησεν τὸν Αβραμ καὶ τὸν Ναχωρ καὶ τὸν Αρραν καὶ Αρραν ἐγέννησεν τὸν Λωτ (Ⅲ)

- Hæ sunt autem generationes Thare : Thare genuit Abram, Nachor et Aran. Porro Aran genuit Lot. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 27 ׃11 ואלה תולדת תרח תרח הוליד את אברם את נחור ואת הרן והרן הוליד את לוט ‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 28

And Haran died before his father Terah in the land of his nativity, in Ur of the Chaldees.

- Et Haran mourut en présence de Térach, son père, au pays de sa naissance, à Ur en Chaldée. - (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἀπέθανεν Αρραν ἐνώπιον Θαρα του̃ πατρὸς αὐτου̃ ἐν τη̨̃ γη̨̃ ἡ̨̃ ἐγενήθη ἐν τη̨̃ χώρα̨ τω̃ν Χαλδαίων (Ⅲ)

- Mortuusque est Aran ante Thare patrem suum, in terra nativitatis suæ, in Ur Chaldæorum. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 28 ׃11 וימת הרן על פני תרח אביו בארץ מולדתו באור כשדים ‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 29

And Abram and Nahor took them wives: the name of Abram's wife was Sarai; and the name of Nahor's wife, Milcah, the daughter of Haran, the father of Milcah, and the father of Iscah.

- Abram et Nachor prirent des femmes: le nom de la femme d'Abram était Saraï, et le nom de la femme de Nachor était Milca, fille d'Haran, père de Milca et père de Jisca. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἔλαβον Αβραμ καὶ Ναχωρ ἑαυτοι̃ς γυναι̃κας ὄνομα τη̨̃ γυναικὶ Αβραμ Σαρα καὶ ὄνομα τη̨̃ γυναικὶ Ναχωρ Μελχα θυγάτηρ Αρραν πατὴρ Μελχα καὶ πατὴρ Ιεσχα (Ⅲ)

- Duxerunt autem Abram et Nachor uxores : nomen uxoris Abram, Sarai : et nomen uxoris Nachor, Melcha filia Aran, patris Melchæ, et patris Jeschæ. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 29 ׃11 ויקח אברם ונחור להם נשים שם אשת אברם שרי ושם אשת נחור מלכה בת הרן אבי מלכה ואבי יסכה ‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 30

But Sarai was barren; she had no child.

- Saraï était stérile: elle n'avait point d'enfants. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἠ̃ν Σαρα στει̃ρα καὶ οὐκ ἐτεκνοποίει (Ⅲ)

- Erat autem Sarai sterilis, nec habebat liberos. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 30 ׃11 ותהי שרי עקרה אין לה ולד ‬ (Ⅴ)

11. 31

And Terah took Abram his son, and Lot the son of Haran his son's son, and Sarai his daughter in law, his son Abram's wife; and they went forth with them from Ur of the Chaldees, to go into the land of Canaan; and they came unto Haran, and dwelt there.

- Térach prit Abram, son fils, et Lot, fils d'Haran, fils de son fils, et Saraï, sa belle-fille, femme d'Abram, son fils. Ils sortirent ensemble d'Ur en Chaldée, pour aller au pays de Canaan. Ils vinrent jusqu'à Charan, et ils y habitèrent. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἔλαβεν Θαρα τὸν Αβραμ υἱὸν αὐτου̃ καὶ τὸν Λωτ υἱὸν Αρραν υἱὸν του̃ υἱου̃ αὐτου̃ καὶ τὴν Σαραν τὴν νύμφην αὐτου̃ γυναι̃κα Αβραμ του̃ υἱου̃ αὐτου̃ καὶ ἐξήγαγεν αὐτοὺς ἐκ τη̃ς χώρας τω̃ν Χαλδαίων πορευθη̃ναι εἰς τὴν γη̃ν Χανααν καὶ ἠ̃λθεν ἕως Χαρραν καὶ κατώ̨κησεν ἐκει̃ (Ⅲ)

- Tulit itaque Thare Abram filium suum, et Lot filium Aran, filium filii sui, et Sarai nurum suam, uxorem Abram filii sui, et eduxit eos de Ur Chaldæorum, ut irent in terram Chanaan : veneruntque usque Haran, et habitaverunt ibi. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 31 ׃11 ויקח תרח את אברם בנו ואת לוט בן הרן בן בנו ואת שרי כלתו אשת אברם בנו ויצאו אתם מאור כשדים ללכת ארצה כנען ויבאו עד חרן וישבו שם ‬ (Ⅴ)

And the days of Terah were two hundred and five years: and Terah died in Haran.

- Les jours de Térach furent de deux cent cinq ans; et Térach mourut à Charan. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἐγένοντο αἱ ἡμέραι Θαρα ἐν Χαρραν διακόσια πέντε ἔτη καὶ ἀπέθανεν Θαρα ἐν Χαρραν (Ⅲ)

- Et facti sunt dies Thare ducentorum quinque annorum, et mortuus est in Haran. (Ⅳ)
