And the LORD appeared unto him in the plains of Mamre: and he sat in the tent door in the heat of the day;
- L'Éternel lui apparut parmi les chênes de Mamré, comme il était assis à l'entrée de sa tente, pendant la chaleur du jour. (Ⅱ) - ὤφθη δὲ αὐτω̨̃ ὁ θεὸς πρὸς τη̨̃ δρυὶ τη̨̃ Μαμβρη καθημένου αὐτου̃ ἐπὶ τη̃ς θύρας τη̃ς σκηνη̃ς αὐτου̃ μεσημβρίας (Ⅲ) - Apparuit autem ei Dominus in convalle Mambre sedenti in ostio tabernaculi sui in ipso fervore diei. (Ⅳ) - 1 ׃18 וירא אליו יהוה באלני ממרא והוא ישב פתח האהל כחם היום (Ⅴ)

And he lift up his eyes and looked, and, lo, three men stood by him: and when he saw them, he ran to meet them from the tent door, and bowed himself toward the ground,
- Il leva les yeux, et regarda: et voici, trois hommes étaient debout près de lui. Quand il les vit, il courut au-devant d'eux, depuis l'entrée de sa tente, et se prosterna en terre. (Ⅱ) - ἀναβλέψας δὲ τοι̃ς ὀφθαλμοι̃ς αὐτου̃ εἰ̃δεν καὶ ἰδοὺ τρει̃ς ἄνδρες εἱστήκεισαν ἐπάνω αὐτου̃ καὶ ἰδὼν προσέδραμεν εἰς συνάντησιν αὐτοι̃ς ἀπὸ τη̃ς θύρας τη̃ς σκηνη̃ς αὐτου̃ καὶ προσεκύνησεν ἐπὶ τὴν γη̃ν (Ⅲ) - Cumque elevasset oculos, apparuerunt ei tres viri stantes prope eum : quos cum vidisset, cucurrit in occursum eorum de ostio tabernaculi, et adoravit in terram. (Ⅳ) - 2 ׃18 וישא עיניו וירא והנה שלשה אנשים נצבים עליו וירא וירץ לקראתם מפתח האהל וישתחו ארצה (Ⅴ)

And said, My LORD, if now I have found favor in thy sight, pass not away, I pray thee, from thy servant:
- Et il dit: Seigneur, si j'ai trouvé grâce à tes yeux, ne passe point, je te prie, loin de ton serviteur. (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἰ̃πεν κύριε εἰ ἄρα εὑ̃ρον χάριν ἐναντίον σου μὴ παρέλθη̨ς τὸν παι̃δά σου (Ⅲ) - Et dixit : Domine, si inveni gratiam in oculis tuis, ne transeas servum tuum : (Ⅳ) - 3 ׃18 ויאמר אדני אם נא מצאתי חן בעיניך אל נא תעבר מעל עבדך (Ⅴ)

Let a little water, I pray you, be fetched, and wash your feet, and rest yourselves under the tree:
- Permettez qu'on apporte un peu d'eau, pour vous laver les pieds; et reposez-vous sous cet arbre. (Ⅱ) - λημφθήτω δὴ ὕδωρ καὶ νιψάτωσαν τοὺς πόδας ὑμω̃ν καὶ καταψύξατε ὑπὸ τὸ δένδρον (Ⅲ) - sed afferam pauxillum aquæ, et lavate pedes vestros, et requiescite sub arbore. (Ⅳ) - 4 ׃18 יקח נא מעט מים ורחצו רגליכם והשענו תחת העץ (Ⅴ)

And I will fetch a morsel of bread, and comfort ye your hearts; after that ye shall pass on: for therefore are ye come to your servant. And they said, So do, as thou hast said.
- J'irai prendre un morceau de pain, pour fortifier votre coeur; après quoi, vous continuerez votre route; car c'est pour cela que vous passez près de votre serviteur. Ils répondirent: Fais comme tu l'as dit. (Ⅱ) - καὶ λήμψομαι ἄρτον καὶ φάγεσθε καὶ μετὰ του̃το παρελεύσεσθε εἰς τὴν ὁδὸν ὑμω̃ν οὑ̃ εἵνεκεν ἐξεκλίνατε πρὸς τὸν παι̃δα ὑμω̃ν καὶ εἰ̃παν οὕτως ποίησον καθὼς εἴρηκας (Ⅲ) - Ponamque buccellam panis, et confortate cor vestrum : postea transibitis : idcirco enim declinastis ad servum vestrum. Qui dixerunt : Fac ut locutus es. (Ⅳ) - 5 ׃18 ואקחה פת לחם וסעדו לבכם אחר תעברו כי על כן עברתם על עבדכם ויאמרו כן תעשה כאשר דברת (Ⅴ)

And Abraham hastened into the tent unto Sarah, and said, Make ready quickly three measures of fine meal, knead it, and make cakes upon the hearth.
- Abraham alla promptement dans sa tente vers Sara, et il dit: Vite, trois mesures de fleur de farine, pétris, et fais des gâteaux. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἔσπευσεν Αβρααμ ἐπὶ τὴν σκηνὴν πρὸς Σαρραν καὶ εἰ̃πεν αὐτη̨̃ σπευ̃σον καὶ φύρασον τρία μέτρα σεμιδάλεως καὶ ποίησον ἐγκρυφίας (Ⅲ) - Festinavit Abraham in tabernaculum ad Saram, dixitque ei : Accelera, tria sata similæ commisce, et fac subcinericios panes. (Ⅳ) - 6 ׃18 וימהר אברהם האהלה אל שרה ויאמר מהרי שלש סאים קמח סלת לושי ועשי עגות (Ⅴ)

And Abraham ran unto the herd, and fetched a calf tender and good, and gave it unto a young man; and he hasted to dress it.
- Et Abraham courut à son troupeau, prit un veau tendre et bon, et le donna à un serviteur, qui se hâta de l'apprêter. (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἰς τὰς βόας ἔδραμεν Αβρααμ καὶ ἔλαβεν μοσχάριον ἁπαλὸν καὶ καλὸν καὶ ἔδωκεν τω̨̃ παιδί καὶ ἐτάχυνεν του̃ ποιη̃σαι αὐτό (Ⅲ) - Ipse vero ad armentum cucurrit, et tulit inde vitulum tenerrimum et optimum, deditque puero : qui festinavit et coxit illum. (Ⅳ) - 7 ׃18 ואל הבקר רץ אברהם ויקח בן בקר רך וטוב ויתן אל הנער וימהר לעשות אתו (Ⅴ)

And he took butter, and milk, and the calf which he had dressed, and set it before them; and he stood by them under the tree, and they did eat.
- Il prit encore de la crème et du lait, avec le veau qu'on avait apprêté, et il les mit devant eux. Il se tint lui-même à leurs côtés, sous l'arbre. Et ils mangèrent. (Ⅱ) - ἔλαβεν δὲ βούτυρον καὶ γάλα καὶ τὸ μοσχάριον ὃ ἐποίησεν καὶ παρέθηκεν αὐτοι̃ς καὶ ἐφάγοσαν αὐτὸς δὲ παρειστήκει αὐτοι̃ς ὑπὸ τὸ δένδρον (Ⅲ) - Tulit quoque butyrum et lac, et vitulum quem coxerat, et posuit coram eis : ipse vero stabat juxta eos sub arbore.\ (Ⅳ) - 8 ׃18 ויקח חמאה וחלב ובן הבקר אשר עשה ויתן לפניהם והוא עמד עליהם תחת העץ ויאכלו (Ⅴ)

And they said unto him, Where is Sarah thy wife? And he said, Behold, in the tent.
- Alors ils lui dirent: Où est Sara, ta femme? Il répondit: Elle est là, dans la tente. (Ⅱ) - εἰ̃πεν δὲ πρὸς αὐτόν που̃ Σαρρα ἡ γυνή σου ὁ δὲ ἀποκριθεὶς εἰ̃πεν ἰδοὺ ἐν τη̨̃ σκηνη̨̃ (Ⅲ) - Cumque comedissent, dixerunt ad eum : Ubi est Sara uxor tua ? Ille respondit : Ecce in tabernaculo est. (Ⅳ) - 9 ׃18 ויאמרו אליו[4] איה שרה אשתך ויאמר הנה באהל (Ⅴ)

And he said, I will certainly return unto thee according to the time of life; and, lo, Sarah thy wife shall have a son. And Sarah heard it in the tent door, which was behind him.
- L'un d'entre eux dit: Je reviendrai vers toi à cette même époque; et voici, Sara, ta femme, aura un fils. Sara écoutait à l'entrée de la tente, qui était derrière lui. (Ⅱ) - εἰ̃πεν δέ ἐπαναστρέφων ἥξω πρὸς σὲ κατὰ τὸν καιρὸν του̃τον εἰς ὥρας καὶ ἕξει υἱὸν Σαρρα ἡ γυνή σου Σαρρα δὲ ἤκουσεν πρὸς τη̨̃ θύρα̨ τη̃ς σκηνη̃ς οὐ̃σα ὄπισθεν αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ) - Cui dixit : Revertens veniam ad te tempore isto, vita comite, et habebit filium Sara uxor tua. Quo audito, Sara risit post ostium tabernaculi. (Ⅳ) - 10 ׃18 ויאמר שוב אשוב אליך כעת חיה והנה בן לשרה אשתך ושרה שמעת פתח האהל והוא אחריו (Ⅴ)

Now Abraham and Sarah were old and well stricken in age; and it ceased to be with Sarah after the manner of women.
- Abraham et Sara étaient vieux, avancés en âge: et Sara ne pouvait plus espérer avoir des enfants. (Ⅱ) - Αβρααμ δὲ καὶ Σαρρα πρεσβύτεροι προβεβηκότες ἡμερω̃ν ἐξέλιπεν δὲ Σαρρα γίνεσθαι τὰ γυναικει̃α (Ⅲ) - Erant autem ambo senes, provectæque ætatis, et desierant Saræ fieri muliebria. (Ⅳ) - 11 ׃18 ואברהם ושרה זקנים באים בימים חדל להיות לשרה ארח כנשים (Ⅴ)

Therefore Sarah laughed within herself, saying, After I am waxed old shall I have pleasure, my lord being old also?
- Elle rit en elle-même, en disant: Maintenant que je suis vieille, aurais-je encore des désirs? Mon seigneur aussi est vieux. (Ⅱ) - ἐγέλασεν δὲ Σαρρα ἐν ἑαυτη̨̃ λέγουσα οὔπω μέν μοι γέγονεν ἕως του̃ νυ̃ν ὁ δὲ κύριός μου πρεσβύτερος (Ⅲ) - Quæ risit occulte dicens : Postquam consenui, et dominus meus vetulus est, voluptati operam dabo ? (Ⅳ) - 12 ׃18 ותצחק שרה בקרבה לאמר אחרי בלתי היתה לי עדנה ואדני זקן (Ⅴ)

And the LORD said unto Abraham, Wherefore did Sarah laugh, saying, Shall I of a surety bear a child, which am old?
- L'Éternel dit à Abraham: Pourquoi donc Sara a-t-elle ri, en disant: Est-ce que vraiment j'aurais un enfant, moi qui suis vieille? (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἰ̃πεν κύριος πρὸς Αβρααμ τί ὅτι ἐγέλασεν Σαρρα ἐν ἑαυτη̨̃ λέγουσα ἀ̃ρά γε ἀληθω̃ς τέξομαι ἐγὼ δὲ γεγήρακα (Ⅲ) - Dixit autem Dominus ad Abraham : Quare risit Sara, dicens : Num vere paritura sum anus ? (Ⅳ) - 13 ׃18 ויאמר יהוה אל אברהם למה זה צחקה שרה לאמר האף אמנם אלד ואני זקנתי (Ⅴ)

Is any thing too hard for the LORD? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.
- Y a-t-il rien qui soit étonnant de la part de l'Éternel? Au temps fixé je reviendrai vers toi, à cette même époque; et Sara aura un fils. (Ⅱ) - μὴ ἀδυνατει̃ παρὰ τω̨̃ θεω̨̃ ῥη̃μα εἰς τὸν καιρὸν του̃τον ἀναστρέψω πρὸς σὲ εἰς ὥρας καὶ ἔσται τη̨̃ Σαρρα υἱός (Ⅲ) - Numquid Deo quidquam est difficile ? juxta condictum revertar ad te hoc eodem tempore, vita comite, et habebit Sara filium. (Ⅳ) - 14 ׃18 היפלא מיהוה דבר למועד אשוב אליך כעת חיה ולשרה בן (Ⅴ)

Then Sarah denied, saying, I laughed not; for she was afraid. And he said, Nay; but thou didst laugh.
- Sara mentit, en disant: Je n'ai pas ri. Car elle eut peur. Mais il dit: Au contraire, tu as ri. (Ⅱ) - ἠρνήσατο δὲ Σαρρα λέγουσα οὐκ ἐγέλασα ἐφοβήθη γάρ καὶ εἰ̃πεν οὐχί ἀλλὰ ἐγέλασας (Ⅲ) - Negavit Sara, dicens : Non risi, timore perterrita. Dominus autem : Non est, inquit, ita : sed risisti.\ (Ⅳ) - 15 ׃18 ותכחש שרה לאמר לא צחקתי כי יראה ויאמר לא כי צחקת (Ⅴ)

And the men rose up from thence, and looked toward Sodom: and Abraham went with them to bring them on the way.
- Ces hommes se levèrent pour partir, et ils regardèrent du côté de Sodome. Abraham alla avec eux, pour les accompagner. (Ⅱ) - ἐξαναστάντες δὲ ἐκει̃θεν οἱ ἄνδρες κατέβλεψαν ἐπὶ πρόσωπον Σοδομων καὶ Γομορρας Αβρααμ δὲ συνεπορεύετο μετ' αὐτω̃ν συμπροπέμπων αὐτούς (Ⅲ) - Cum ergo surrexissent inde viri, direxerunt oculos contra Sodomam : et Abraham simul gradiebatur, deducens eos. (Ⅳ) - 16 ׃18 ויקמו משם האנשים וישקפו על פני סדם ואברהם הלך עמם לשלחם (Ⅴ)

And the LORD said, Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which I do;
- Alors l'Éternel dit: Cacherai-je à Abraham ce que je vais faire?... (Ⅱ) - ὁ δὲ κύριος εἰ̃πεν μὴ κρύψω ἐγὼ ἀπὸ Αβρααμ του̃ παιδός μου ἃ ἐγὼ ποιω̃ (Ⅲ) - Dixitque Dominus : Num celare potero Abraham quæ gesturus sum : (Ⅳ) - 17 ׃18 ויהוה אמר המכסה אני מאברהם אשר אני עשה (Ⅴ)

Seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him?
- Abraham deviendra certainement une nation grande et puissante, et en lui seront bénies toutes les nations de la terre. (Ⅱ) - Αβρααμ δὲ γινόμενος ἔσται εἰς ἔθνος μέγα καὶ πολύ καὶ ἐνευλογηθήσονται ἐν αὐτω̨̃ πάντα τὰ ἔθνη τη̃ς γη̃ς (Ⅲ) - cum futurus sit in gentem magnam, ac robustissimam, et benedicendæ sint in illo omnes nationes terræ ? (Ⅳ) - 18 ׃18 ואברהם היו יהיה לגוי גדול ועצום ונברכו בו כל גויי הארץ (Ⅴ)

For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment; that the LORD may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him.
- Car je l'ai choisi, afin qu'il ordonne à ses fils et à sa maison après lui de garder la voie de l'Éternel, en pratiquant la droiture et la justice, et qu'ainsi l'Éternel accomplisse en faveur d'Abraham les promesses qu'il lui a faites... (Ⅱ) - ἤ̨δειν γὰρ ὅτι συντάξει τοι̃ς υἱοι̃ς αὐτου̃ καὶ τω̨̃ οἴκω̨ αὐτου̃ μετ' αὐτόν καὶ φυλάξουσιν τὰς ὁδοὺς κυρίου ποιει̃ν δικαιοσύνην καὶ κρίσιν ὅπως ἂν ἐπαγάγη̨ κύριος ἐπὶ Αβρααμ πάντα ὅσα ἐλάλησεν πρὸς αὐτόν (Ⅲ) - Scio enim quod præcepturus sit filiis suis, et domui suæ post se ut custodiant viam Domini, et faciant judicium et justitiam : ut adducat Dominus propter Abraham omnia quæ locutus est ad eum. (Ⅳ) - 19 ׃18 כי ידעתיו למען אשר יצוה את בניו ואת ביתו אחריו ושמרו דרך יהוה לעשות צדקה ומשפט למען הביא יהוה על אברהם את אשר דבר עליו (Ⅴ)

And the LORD said, Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous;
- Et l'Éternel dit: Le cri contre Sodome et Gomorrhe s'est accru, et leur péché est énorme. (Ⅱ) - εἰ̃πεν δὲ κύριος κραυγὴ Σοδομων καὶ Γομορρας πεπλήθυνται καὶ αἱ ἁμαρτίαι αὐτω̃ν μεγάλαι σφόδρα (Ⅲ) - Dixit itaque Dominus : Clamor Sodomorum et Gomorrhæ multiplicatus est, et peccatum eorum aggravatum est nimis. (Ⅳ) - 20 ׃18 ויאמר יהוה זעקת סדם ועמרה כי רבה וחטאתם כי כבדה מאד (Ⅴ)

I will go down now, and see whether they have done altogether according to the cry of it, which is come unto me; and if not, I will know.
- C'est pourquoi je vais descendre, et je verrai s'ils ont agi entièrement selon le bruit venu jusqu'à moi; et si cela n'est pas, je le saurai. (Ⅱ) - καταβὰς οὐ̃ν ὄψομαι εἰ κατὰ τὴν κραυγὴν αὐτω̃ν τὴν ἐρχομένην πρός με συντελου̃νται εἰ δὲ μή ἵνα γνω̃ (Ⅲ) - Descendam, et videbo utrum clamorem qui venit ad me, opere compleverint ; an non est ita, ut sciam. (Ⅳ) - 21 ׃18 ארדה נא ואראה הכצעקתה הבאה אלי עשו כלה ואם לא אדעה (Ⅴ)

And the men turned their faces from thence, and went toward Sodom: but Abraham stood yet before the LORD.
- Les hommes s'éloignèrent, et allèrent vers Sodome. Mais Abraham se tint encore en présence de l'Éternel. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἀποστρέψαντες ἐκει̃θεν οἱ ἄνδρες ἠ̃λθον εἰς Σοδομα Αβρααμ δὲ ἠ̃ν ἑστηκὼς ἐναντίον κυρίου (Ⅲ) - Converteruntque se inde, et abierunt Sodomam : Abraham vero adhuc stabat coram Domino. (Ⅳ) - 22 ׃18 ויפנו משם האנשים וילכו סדמה ואברהם עודנו עמד לפני יהוה (Ⅴ)

And Abraham drew near, and said, Wilt thou also destroy the righteous with the wicked?
- Abraham s'approcha, et dit: Feras-tu aussi périr le juste avec le méchant? (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐγγίσας Αβρααμ εἰ̃πεν μὴ συναπολέση̨ς δίκαιον μετὰ ἀσεβου̃ς καὶ ἔσται ὁ δίκαιος ὡς ὁ ἀσεβής (Ⅲ) - Et appropinquans ait : Numquid perdes justum cum impio ? (Ⅳ) - 23 ׃18 ויגש אברהם ויאמר האף תספה צדיק עם רשע (Ⅴ)

Peradventure there be fifty righteous within the city: wilt thou also destroy and not spare the place for the fifty righteous that are therein?
- Peut-être y a-t-il cinquante justes au milieu de la ville: les feras-tu périr aussi, et ne pardonneras-tu pas à la ville à cause des cinquante justes qui sont au milieu d'elle? (Ⅱ) - ἐὰν ὠ̃σιν πεντήκοντα δίκαιοι ἐν τη̨̃ πόλει ἀπολει̃ς αὐτούς οὐκ ἀνήσεις πάντα τὸν τόπον ἕνεκεν τω̃ν πεντήκοντα δικαίων ἐὰν ὠ̃σιν ἐν αὐτη̨̃ (Ⅲ) - si fuerint quinquaginta justi in civitate, peribunt simul ? et non parces loco illi propter quinquaginta justos, si fuerint in eo ? (Ⅳ) - 24 ׃18 אולי יש חמשים צדיקם בתוך העיר האף תספה ולא תשא למקום למען חמשים הצדיקם אשר בקרבה (Ⅴ)

That be far from thee to do after this manner, to slay the righteous with the wicked: and that the righteous should be as the wicked, that be far from thee: Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?
- Faire mourir le juste avec le méchant, en sorte qu'il en soit du juste comme du méchant, loin de toi cette manière d'agir! loin de toi! Celui qui juge toute la terre n'exercera-t-il pas la justice? (Ⅱ) - μηδαμω̃ς σὺ ποιήσεις ὡς τὸ ῥη̃μα του̃το του̃ ἀποκτει̃ναι δίκαιον μετὰ ἀσεβου̃ς καὶ ἔσται ὁ δίκαιος ὡς ὁ ἀσεβής μηδαμω̃ς ὁ κρίνων πα̃σαν τὴν γη̃ν οὐ ποιήσεις κρίσιν (Ⅲ) - Absit a te ut rem hanc facias, et occidas justum cum impio, fiatque justus sicut impius, non est hoc tuum : qui judicas omnem terram, nequaquam facies judicium hoc. (Ⅳ) - 25 ׃18 חללה לך מעשת כדבר הזה להמית צדיק עם רשע והיה כצדיק כרשע חללה לך השפט כל הארץ לא יעשה משפט (Ⅴ)

And the LORD said, If I find in Sodom fifty righteous within the city, then I will spare all the place for their sakes.
- Et l'Éternel dit: Si je trouve dans Sodome cinquante justes au milieu de la ville, je pardonnerai à toute la ville, à cause d'eux. (Ⅱ) - εἰ̃πεν δὲ κύριος ἐὰν εὕρω ἐν Σοδομοις πεντήκοντα δικαίους ἐν τη̨̃ πόλει ἀφήσω πάντα τὸν τόπον δι' αὐτούς (Ⅲ) - Dixitque Dominus ad eum : Si invenero Sodomis quinquaginta justos in medio civitatis, dimittam omni loco propter eos. (Ⅳ) - 26 ׃18 ויאמר יהוה אם אמצא בסדם חמשים צדיקם בתוך העיר ונשאתי לכל המקום בעבורם (Ⅴ)

And Abraham answered and said, Behold now, I have taken upon me to speak unto the LORD, which am but dust and ashes:
- Abraham reprit, et dit: Voici, j'ai osé parler au Seigneur, moi qui ne suis que poudre et cendre. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἀποκριθεὶς Αβρααμ εἰ̃πεν νυ̃ν ἠρξάμην λαλη̃σαι πρὸς τὸν κύριον ἐγὼ δέ εἰμι γη̃ καὶ σποδός (Ⅲ) - Respondensque Abraham, ait : Quia semel cœpi, loquar ad Dominum meum, cum sim pulvis et cinis. (Ⅳ) - 27 ׃18 ויען אברהם ויאמר הנה נא הואלתי לדבר אל אדני ואנכי עפר ואפר (Ⅴ)

Peradventure there shall lack five of the fifty righteous: wilt thou destroy all the city for lack of five? And he said, If I find there forty and five, I will not destroy it.
- Peut-être des cinquante justes en manquera-t-il cinq: pour cinq, détruiras-tu toute la ville? Et l'Éternel dit: Je ne la détruirai point, si j'y trouve quarante-cinq justes. (Ⅱ) - ἐὰν δὲ ἐλαττονωθω̃σιν οἱ πεντήκοντα δίκαιοι πέντε ἀπολει̃ς ἕνεκεν τω̃ν πέντε πα̃σαν τὴν πόλιν καὶ εἰ̃πεν οὐ μὴ ἀπολέσω ἐὰν εὕρω ἐκει̃ τεσσαράκοντα πέντε (Ⅲ) - Quid si minus quinquaginta justis quinque fuerint ? delebis, propter quadraginta quinque, universam urbem ? Et ait : Non delebo, si invenero ibi quadraginta quinque. (Ⅳ) - 28 ׃18 אולי יחסרון חמשים הצדיקם חמשה התשחית בחמשה את כל העיר ויאמר לא אשחית אם אמצא שם ארבעים וחמשה (Ⅴ)

And he spake unto him yet again, and said, Peradventure there shall be forty found there. And he said, I will not do it for forty's sake.
- Abraham continua de lui parler, et dit: Peut-être s'y trouvera-t-il quarante justes. Et l'Éternel dit: Je ne ferai rien, à cause de ces quarante. (Ⅱ) - καὶ προσέθηκεν ἔτι λαλη̃σαι πρὸς αὐτὸν καὶ εἰ̃πεν ἐὰν δὲ εὑρεθω̃σιν ἐκει̃ τεσσαράκοντα καὶ εἰ̃πεν οὐ μὴ ἀπολέσω ἕνεκεν τω̃ν τεσσαράκοντα (Ⅲ) - Rursumque locutus est ad eum : Sin autem quadraginta ibi inventi fuerint, quid facies ? Ait : Non percutiam propter quadraginta. (Ⅳ) - 29 ׃18 ויסף עוד לדבר אליו ויאמר אולי ימצאון שם ארבעים ויאמר לא אעשה בעבור הארבעים (Ⅴ)

And he said unto him, Oh let not the LORD be angry, and I will speak: Peradventure there shall thirty be found there. And he said, I will not do it, if I find thirty there.
- Abraham dit: Que le Seigneur ne s'irrite point, et je parlerai. Peut-être s'y trouvera-t-il trente justes. Et l'Éternel dit: Je ne ferai rien, si j'y trouve trente justes. (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἰ̃πεν μή τι κύριε ἐὰν λαλήσω ἐὰν δὲ εὑρεθω̃σιν ἐκει̃ τριάκοντα καὶ εἰ̃πεν οὐ μὴ ἀπολέσω ἐὰν εὕρω ἐκει̃ τριάκοντα (Ⅲ) - Ne quæso, inquit, indigneris, Domine, si loquar : quid si ibi inventi fuerint triginta ? Respondit : Non faciam, si invenero ibi triginta. (Ⅳ) - 30 ׃18 ויאמר אל נא יחר לאדני ואדברה אולי ימצאון שם שלשים ויאמר לא אעשה אם אמצא שם שלשים (Ⅴ)

And he said, Behold now, I have taken upon me to speak unto the LORD: Peradventure there shall be twenty found there. And he said, I will not destroy it for twenty's sake.
- Abraham dit: Voici, j'ai osé parler au Seigneur. Peut-être s'y trouvera-t-il vingt justes. Et l'Éternel dit: Je ne la détruirai point, à cause de ces vingt. (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἰ̃πεν ἐπειδὴ ἔχω λαλη̃σαι πρὸς τὸν κύριον ἐὰν δὲ εὑρεθω̃σιν ἐκει̃ εἴκοσι καὶ εἰ̃πεν οὐ μὴ ἀπολέσω ἕνεκεν τω̃ν εἴκοσι (Ⅲ) - Quia semel, ait, cœpi loquar ad Dominum meum : quid si ibi inventi fuerint viginti ? Ait : Non interficiam propter viginti. (Ⅳ) - 31 ׃18 ויאמר הנה נא הואלתי לדבר אל אדני אולי ימצאון שם עשרים ויאמר לא אשחית בעבור העשרים (Ⅴ)

And he said, Oh let not the LORD be angry, and I will speak yet but this once: Peradventure ten shall be found there. And he said, I will not destroy it for ten's sake.
- Abraham dit: Que le Seigneur ne s'irrite point, et je ne parlerai plus que cette fois. Peut-être s'y trouvera-t-il dix justes. Et l'Éternel dit: Je ne la détruirai point, à cause de ces dix justes. (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἰ̃πεν μή τι κύριε ἐὰν λαλήσω ἔτι ἅπαξ ἐὰν δὲ εὑρεθω̃σιν ἐκει̃ δέκα καὶ εἰ̃πεν οὐ μὴ ἀπολέσω ἕνεκεν τω̃ν δέκα (Ⅲ) - Obsecro, inquit, ne irascaris, Domine, si loquar adhuc semel : quid si inventi fuerint ibi decem ? Et dixit : Non delebo propter decem. (Ⅳ) - 32 ׃18 ויאמר אל נא יחר לאדני ואדברה אך הפעם אולי ימצאון שם עשרה ויאמר לא אשחית בעבור העשרה (Ⅴ)

And the LORD went his way, as soon as he had left communing with Abraham: and Abraham returned unto his place.
- L'Éternel s'en alla lorsqu'il eut achevé de parler à Abraham. Et Abraham retourna dans sa demeure. (Ⅱ) - ἀπη̃λθεν δὲ κύριος ὡς ἐπαύσατο λαλω̃ν τω̨̃ Αβρααμ καὶ Αβρααμ ἀπέστρεψεν εἰς τὸν τόπον αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ) - Abiitque Dominus, postquam cessavit loqui ad Abraham : et ille reversus est in locum suum. (Ⅳ) - 33 ׃18 וילך יהוה כאשר כלה לדבר אל אברהם ואברהם שב למקמו (Ⅴ)
