In principio creavit Deus cælum et terram.
- Au commencement, Dieu créa les cieux et la terre. (Ⅱ)
- In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. (Ⅲ)
- ἐν ἀρχη̨̃ ἐποίησεν ὁ θεὸς τὸν οὐρανὸν καὶ τὴν γη̃ν (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 1  ׃1   בראשית ברא אלהים את השמים ואת הארץ ‬ (Ⅴ)

Terra autem erat inanis et vacua, et tenebræ erant super faciem abyssi : et spiritus Dei ferebatur super aquas.
- La terre était informe et vide: il y avait des ténèbres à la surface de l'abîme, et l'esprit de Dieu se mouvait au-dessus des eaux. (Ⅱ)
- And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. (Ⅲ)
- ἡ δὲ γη̃ ἠ̃ν ἀόρατος καὶ ἀκατασκεύαστος καὶ σκότος ἐπάνω τη̃ς ἀβύσσου καὶ πνευ̃μα θεου̃ ἐπεφέρετο ἐπάνω του̃ ὕδατος (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 2  ׃1   והארץ היתה תהו ובהו וחשך על פני תהום ורוח אלהים מרחפת על פני המים ‬ (Ⅴ)

Dixitque Deus : Fiat lux. Et facta est lux.
- Dieu dit: Que la lumière soit! Et la lumière fut. (Ⅱ)
- And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. (Ⅲ)
- καὶ εἰ̃πεν ὁ θεός γενηθήτω φω̃ς καὶ ἐγένετο φω̃ς (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 3  ׃1   ויאמר אלהים יהי אור ויהי אור ‬ (Ⅴ)

Et vidit Deus lucem quod esset bona : et divisit lucem a tenebris.
- Dieu vit que la lumière était bonne; et Dieu sépara la lumière d'avec les ténèbres. (Ⅱ)
- And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. (Ⅲ)
- καὶ εἰ̃δεν ὁ θεὸς τὸ φω̃ς ὅτι καλόν καὶ διεχώρισεν ὁ θεὸς ἀνὰ μέσον του̃ φωτὸς καὶ ἀνὰ μέσον του̃ σκότους (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 4  ׃1   וירא אלהים את האור כי טוב ויבדל אלהים בין האור ובין החשך ‬ (Ⅴ)

Appellavitque lucem Diem, et tenebras Noctem : factumque est vespere et mane, dies unus.
- Dieu appela la lumière jour, et il appela les ténèbres nuit. Ainsi, il y eut un soir, et il y eut un matin: ce fut le premier jour. (Ⅱ)
- And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day. (Ⅲ)
- καὶ ἐκάλεσεν ὁ θεὸς τὸ φω̃ς ἡμέραν καὶ τὸ σκότος ἐκάλεσεν νύκτα καὶ ἐγένετο ἑσπέρα καὶ ἐγένετο πρωί ἡμέρα μία (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 5  ׃1   ויקרא אלהים לאור יום ולחשך קרא לילה ויהי ערב ויהי בקר יום אחד פ‬ (Ⅴ)

Dixit quoque Deus : Fiat firmamentum in medio aquarum : et dividat aquas ab aquis.
- Dieu dit: Qu'il y ait une étendue entre les eaux, et qu'elle sépare les eaux d'avec les eaux. (Ⅱ)
- And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters. (Ⅲ)
- καὶ εἰ̃πεν ὁ θεός γενηθήτω στερέωμα ἐν μέσω̨ του̃ ὕδατος καὶ ἔστω διαχωρίζον ἀνὰ μέσον ὕδατος καὶ ὕδατος καὶ ἐγένετο οὕτως (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 6  ׃1   ויאמר אלהים יהי רקיע בתוך המים ויהי מבדיל בין מים למים ‬ (Ⅴ)

Et fecit Deus firmamentum, divisitque aquas, quæ erant sub firmamento, ab his, quæ erant super firmamentum. Et factum est ita.
- Et Dieu fit l'étendue, et il sépara les eaux qui sont au-dessous de l'étendue d'avec les eaux qui sont au-dessus de l'étendue. Et cela fut ainsi. (Ⅱ)
- And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so. (Ⅲ)
- καὶ ἐποίησεν ὁ θεὸς τὸ στερέωμα καὶ διεχώρισεν ὁ θεὸς ἀνὰ μέσον του̃ ὕδατος ὃ ἠ̃ν ὑποκάτω του̃ στερεώματος καὶ ἀνὰ μέσον του̃ ὕδατος του̃ ἐπάνω του̃ στερεώματος (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 7  ׃1   ויעש אלהים את הרקיע ויבדל בין המים אשר מתחת לרקיע ובין המים אשר מעל לרקיע ויהי כן ‬ (Ⅴ)

Vocavitque Deus firmamentum, Cælum : et factum est vespere et mane, dies secundus.
- Dieu appela l'étendue ciel. Ainsi, il y eut un soir, et il y eut un matin: ce fut le second jour. (Ⅱ)
- And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day. (Ⅲ)
- καὶ ἐκάλεσεν ὁ θεὸς τὸ στερέωμα οὐρανόν καὶ εἰ̃δεν ὁ θεὸς ὅτι καλόν καὶ ἐγένετο ἑσπέρα καὶ ἐγένετο πρωί ἡμέρα δευτέρα (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 8  ׃1   ויקרא אלהים לרקיע שמים ויהי ערב ויהי בקר יום שני פ‬ (Ⅴ)

Dixit vero Deus : Congregentur aquæ, quæ sub cælo sunt, in locum unum : et appareat arida. Et factum est ita.
- Dieu dit: Que les eaux qui sont au-dessous du ciel se rassemblent en un seul lieu, et que le sec paraisse. Et cela fut ainsi. (Ⅱ)
- And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so. (Ⅲ)
- καὶ εἰ̃πεν ὁ θεός συναχθήτω τὸ ὕδωρ τὸ ὑποκάτω του̃ οὐρανου̃ εἰς συναγωγὴν μίαν καὶ ὀφθήτω ἡ ξηρά καὶ ἐγένετο οὕτως καὶ συνήχθη τὸ ὕδωρ τὸ ὑποκάτω του̃ οὐρανου̃ εἰς τὰς συναγωγὰς αὐτω̃ν καὶ ὤφθη ἡ ξηρά (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 9  ׃1   ויאמר אלהים יקוו המים מתחת השמים אל מקום אחד ותראה היבשה ויהי כן ‬ (Ⅴ)

Et vocavit Deus aridam Terram, congregationesque aquarum appellavit Maria. Et vidit Deus quod esset bonum.
- ieu appela le sec terre, et il appela l'amas des eaux mers. Dieu vit que cela était bon. (Ⅱ)
- And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good. (Ⅲ)
- καὶ ἐκάλεσεν ὁ θεὸς τὴν ξηρὰν γη̃ν καὶ τὰ συστήματα τω̃ν ὑδάτων ἐκάλεσεν θαλάσσας καὶ εἰ̃δεν ὁ θεὸς ὅτι καλόν (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 10 ׃1   ויקרא אלהים ליבשה ארץ ולמקוה המים קרא ימים וירא אלהים כי טוב ‬ (Ⅴ)

Et ait : Germinet terra herbam virentem, et facientem semen, et lignum pomiferum faciens fructum juxta genus suum, cujus semen in semetipso sit super terram. Et factum est ita.
- Puis Dieu dit: Que la terre produise de la verdure, de l'herbe portant de la semence, des arbres fruitiers donnant du fruit selon leur espèce et ayant en eux leur semence sur la terre. Et cela fut ainsi. (Ⅱ)
- And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so. (Ⅲ)
- καὶ εἰ̃πεν ὁ θεός βλαστησάτω ἡ γη̃ βοτάνην χόρτου σπει̃ρον σπέρμα κατὰ γένος καὶ καθ' ὁμοιότητα καὶ ξύλον κάρπιμον ποιου̃ν καρπόν οὑ̃ τὸ σπέρμα αὐτου̃ ἐν αὐτω̨̃ κατὰ γένος ἐπὶ τη̃ς γη̃ς καὶ ἐγένετο οὕτως (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 11 ׃1   ויאמר אלהים תדשא הארץ דשא עשב מזריע זרע עץ פרי עשה פרי למינו אשר זרעו בו על הארץ ויהי כן ‬ (Ⅴ)

Et protulit terra herbam virentem, et facientem semen juxta genus suum, lignumque faciens fructum, et habens unumquodque sementem secundum speciem suam. Et vidit Deus quod esset bonum.
- La terre produisit de la verdure, de l'herbe portant de la semence selon son espèce, et des arbres donnant du fruit et ayant en eux leur semence selon leur espèce. Dieu vit que cela était bon. (Ⅱ)
- And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good. (Ⅲ)
- καὶ ἐξήνεγκεν ἡ γη̃ βοτάνην χόρτου σπει̃ρον σπέρμα κατὰ γένος καὶ καθ' ὁμοιότητα καὶ ξύλον κάρπιμον ποιου̃ν καρπόν οὑ̃ τὸ σπέρμα αὐτου̃ ἐν αὐτω̨̃ κατὰ γένος ἐπὶ τη̃ς γη̃ς καὶ εἰ̃δεν ὁ θεὸς ὅτι καλόν (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 12 ׃1   ותוצא הארץ דשא עשב מזריע זרע למינהו ועץ עשה פרי‪[c]‬‪[p]‬ אשר זרעו בו למינהו וירא אלהים כי טוב ‬ (Ⅴ)

Et factum est vespere et mane, dies tertius.
- Ainsi, il y eut un soir, et il y eut un matin: ce fut le troisième jour. (Ⅱ)
- And the evening and the morning were the third day. (Ⅲ)
- καὶ ἐγένετο ἑσπέρα καὶ ἐγένετο πρωί ἡμέρα τρίτη (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 13 ׃1   ויהי ערב ויהי בקר יום שלישי פ‬ (Ⅴ)

Dixit autem Deus : Fiant luminaria in firmamento cæli, et dividant diem ac noctem, et sint in signa et tempora, et dies et annos :
- Dieu dit: Qu'il y ait des luminaires dans l'étendue du ciel, pour séparer le jour d'avec la nuit; que ce soient des signes pour marquer les époques, les jours et les années; (Ⅱ)
- And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years: (Ⅲ)
- καὶ εἰ̃πεν ὁ θεός γενηθήτωσαν φωστη̃ρες ἐν τω̨̃ στερεώματι του̃ οὐρανου̃ εἰς φαυ̃σιν τη̃ς γη̃ς του̃ διαχωρίζειν ἀνὰ μέσον τη̃ς ἡμέρας καὶ ἀνὰ μέσον τη̃ς νυκτὸς καὶ ἔστωσαν εἰς σημει̃α καὶ εἰς καιροὺς καὶ εἰς ἡμέρας καὶ εἰς ἐνιαυτοὺς (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 14 ׃1   ויאמר אלהים יהי מארת ברקיע השמים להבדיל בין היום ובין הלילה והיו לאתת ולמועדים ולימים ושנים ‬ (Ⅴ)

ut luceant in firmamento cæli, et illuminent terram. Et factum est ita.
- et qu'ils servent de luminaires dans l'étendue du ciel, pour éclairer la terre. Et cela fut ainsi. (Ⅱ)
- And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so. (Ⅲ)
- καὶ ἔστωσαν εἰς φαυ̃σιν ἐν τω̨̃ στερεώματι του̃ οὐρανου̃ ὥστε φαίνειν ἐπὶ τη̃ς γη̃ς καὶ ἐγένετο οὕτως (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 15 ׃1   והיו למאורת ברקיע השמים להאיר על הארץ ויהי כן ‬ (Ⅴ)

Fecitque Deus duo luminaria magna : luminare majus, ut præesset diei : et luminare minus, ut præesset nocti : et stellas.
- Dieu fit les deux grands luminaires, le plus grand luminaire pour présider au jour, et le plus petit luminaire pour présider à la nuit; il fit aussi les étoiles. (Ⅱ)
- And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also. (Ⅲ)
- καὶ ἐποίησεν ὁ θεὸς τοὺς δύο φωστη̃ρας τοὺς μεγάλους τὸν φωστη̃ρα τὸν μέγαν εἰς ἀρχὰς τη̃ς ἡμέρας καὶ τὸν φωστη̃ρα τὸν ἐλάσσω εἰς ἀρχὰς τη̃ς νυκτός καὶ τοὺς ἀστέρας (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 16 ׃1   ויעש אלהים את שני המארת הגדלים את המאור הגדל לממשלת היום ואת המאור הקטן לממשלת הלילה ואת הכוכבים ‬ (Ⅴ)

Et posuit eas in firmamento cæli, ut lucerent super terram,
- Dieu les plaça dans l'étendue du ciel, pour éclairer la terre, (Ⅱ)
- And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth, (Ⅲ)
- καὶ ἔθετο αὐτοὺς ὁ θεὸς ἐν τω̨̃ στερεώματι του̃ οὐρανου̃ ὥστε φαίνειν ἐπὶ τη̃ς γη̃ς (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 17 ׃1   ויתן אתם אלהים ברקיע השמים להאיר על הארץ ‬ (Ⅴ)

et præessent diei ac nocti, et dividerent lucem ac tenebras. Et vidit Deus quod esset bonum.
- pour présider au jour et à la nuit, et pour séparer la lumière d'avec les ténèbres. Dieu vit que cela était bon. (Ⅱ)
- And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good. (Ⅲ)
- καὶ ἄρχειν τη̃ς ἡμέρας καὶ τη̃ς νυκτὸς καὶ διαχωρίζειν ἀνὰ μέσον του̃ φωτὸς καὶ ἀνὰ μέσον του̃ σκότους καὶ εἰ̃δεν ὁ θεὸς ὅτι καλόν (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 18 ׃1   ולמשל ביום ובלילה ולהבדיל בין האור ובין החשך וירא אלהים כי טוב ‬ (Ⅴ)

Et factum est vespere et mane, dies quartus.
- Ainsi, il y eut un soir, et il y eut un matin: ce fut le quatrième jour. (Ⅱ)
- And the evening and the morning were the fourth day. (Ⅲ)
- καὶ ἐγένετο ἑσπέρα καὶ ἐγένετο πρωί ἡμέρα τετάρτη (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 19 ׃1   ויהי ערב ויהי בקר יום רביעי פ‬ (Ⅴ)

Dixit etiam Deus : Producant aquæ reptile animæ viventis, et volatile super terram sub firmamento cæli.
- Dieu dit: Que les eaux produisent en abondance des animaux vivants, et que des oiseaux volent sur la terre vers l'étendue du ciel. (Ⅱ)
- And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven. (Ⅲ)
- καὶ εἰ̃πεν ὁ θεός ἐξαγαγέτω τὰ ὕδατα ἑρπετὰ ψυχω̃ν ζωσω̃ν καὶ πετεινὰ πετόμενα ἐπὶ τη̃ς γη̃ς κατὰ τὸ στερέωμα του̃ οὐρανου̃ καὶ ἐγένετο οὕτως (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 20 ׃1   ויאמר אלהים ישרצו המים שרץ נפש חיה ועוף יעופף על הארץ על פני רקיע השמים ‬ (Ⅴ)

Creavitque Deus cete grandia, et omnem animam viventem atque motabilem, quam produxerant aquæ in species suas, et omne volatile secundum genus suum. Et vidit Deus quod esset bonum.
- Dieu créa les grands poissons et tous les animaux vivants qui se meuvent, et que les eaux produisirent en abondance selon leur espèce; il créa aussi tout oiseau ailé selon son espèce. Dieu vit que cela était bon. (Ⅱ)
- And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good. (Ⅲ)
- καὶ ἐποίησεν ὁ θεὸς τὰ κήτη τὰ μεγάλα καὶ πα̃σαν ψυχὴν ζώ̨ων ἑρπετω̃ν ἃ ἐξήγαγεν τὰ ὕδατα κατὰ γένη αὐτω̃ν καὶ πα̃ν πετεινὸν πτερωτὸν κατὰ γένος καὶ εἰ̃δεν ὁ θεὸς ὅτι καλά (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 21 ׃1   ויברא אלהים את התנינם הגדלים ואת כל נפש החיה הרמשת אשר שרצו המים למינהם ואת כל עוף כנף למינהו וירא אלהים כי טוב ‬ (Ⅴ)

Benedixitque eis, dicens : Crescite, et multiplicamini, et replete aquas maris : avesque multiplicentur super terram.
- Dieu les bénit, en disant: Soyez féconds, multipliez, et remplissez les eaux des mers; et que les oiseaux multiplient sur la terre. (Ⅱ)
- And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth. (Ⅲ)
- καὶ ηὐλόγησεν αὐτὰ ὁ θεὸς λέγων αὐξάνεσθε καὶ πληθύνεσθε καὶ πληρώσατε τὰ ὕδατα ἐν ται̃ς θαλάσσαις καὶ τὰ πετεινὰ πληθυνέσθωσαν ἐπὶ τη̃ς γη̃ς (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 22 ׃1   ויברך אתם אלהים לאמר פרו ורבו ומלאו את המים בימים והעוף ירב בארץ ‬ (Ⅴ)

Et factum est vespere et mane, dies quintus.
- Ainsi, il y eut un soir, et il y eut un matin: ce fut le cinquième jour. (Ⅱ)
- And the evening and the morning were the fifth day. (Ⅲ)
- καὶ ἐγένετο ἑσπέρα καὶ ἐγένετο πρωί ἡμέρα πέμπτη (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 23 ׃1   ויהי ערב ויהי בקר יום חמישי פ‬ (Ⅴ)

Dixit quoque Deus : Producat terra animam viventem in genere suo, jumenta, et reptilia, et bestias terræ secundum species suas. Factumque est ita.
- Dieu dit: Que la terre produise des animaux vivants selon leur espèce, du bétail, des reptiles et des animaux terrestres, selon leur espèce. Et cela fut ainsi. (Ⅱ)
- And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so. (Ⅲ)
- καὶ εἰ̃πεν ὁ θεός ἐξαγαγέτω ἡ γη̃ ψυχὴν ζω̃σαν κατὰ γένος τετράποδα καὶ ἑρπετὰ καὶ θηρία τη̃ς γη̃ς κατὰ γένος καὶ ἐγένετο οὕτως (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 24 ׃1   ויאמר אלהים תוצא הארץ נפש חיה למינה בהמה ורמש וחיתו ארץ למינה ויהי כן ‬ (Ⅴ)

Et fecit Deus bestias terræ juxta species suas, et jumenta, et omne reptile terræ in genere suo.\ Et vidit Deus quod esset bonum,
- Dieu fit les animaux de la terre selon leur espèce, le bétail selon son espèce, et tous les reptiles de la terre selon leur espèce. Dieu vit que cela était bon. (Ⅱ)
- And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good. (Ⅲ)
- καὶ ἐποίησεν ὁ θεὸς τὰ θηρία τη̃ς γη̃ς κατὰ γένος καὶ τὰ κτήνη κατὰ γένος καὶ πάντα τὰ ἑρπετὰ τη̃ς γη̃ς κατὰ γένος αὐτω̃ν καὶ εἰ̃δεν ὁ θεὸς ὅτι καλά (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 25 ׃1   ויעש אלהים את חית הארץ למינה ואת הבהמה למינה ואת כל רמש האדמה למינהו וירא אלהים כי טוב ‬ (Ⅴ)

et ait : Faciamus hominem ad imaginem et similitudinem nostram : et præsit piscibus maris, et volatilibus cæli, et bestiis, universæque terræ, omnique reptili, quod movetur in terra.
- Puis Dieu dit: Faisons l'homme à notre image, selon notre ressemblance, et qu'il domine sur les poissons de la mer, sur les oiseaux du ciel, sur le bétail, sur toute la terre, et sur tous les reptiles qui rampent sur la terre. (Ⅱ)
- And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. (Ⅲ)
- καὶ εἰ̃πεν ὁ θεός ποιήσωμεν ἄνθρωπον κατ' εἰκόνα ἡμετέραν καὶ καθ' ὁμοίωσιν καὶ ἀρχέτωσαν τω̃ν ἰχθύων τη̃ς θαλάσσης καὶ τω̃ν πετεινω̃ν του̃ οὐρανου̃ καὶ τω̃ν κτηνω̃ν καὶ πάσης τη̃ς γη̃ς καὶ πάντων τω̃ν ἑρπετω̃ν τω̃ν ἑρπόντων ἐπὶ τη̃ς γη̃ς (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 26 ׃1   ויאמר אלהים נעשה אדם בצלמנו כדמותנו וירדו בדגת הים ובעוף השמים ובבהמה ובכל הארץ ובכל הרמש הרמש על הארץ ‬ (Ⅴ)

Et creavit Deus hominem ad imaginem suam : ad imaginem Dei creavit illum, masculum et feminam creavit eos.
- Dieu créa l'homme à son image, il le créa à l'image de Dieu, il créa l'homme et la femme. (Ⅱ)
- So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. (Ⅲ)
- καὶ ἐποίησεν ὁ θεὸς τὸν ἄνθρωπον κατ' εἰκόνα θεου̃ ἐποίησεν αὐτόν ἄρσεν καὶ θη̃λυ ἐποίησεν αὐτούς (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 27 ׃1   ויברא אלהים את האדם בצלמו בצלם אלהים ברא אתו זכר ונקבה ברא אתם ‬ (Ⅴ)

Benedixitque illis Deus, et ait : Crescite et multiplicamini, et replete terram, et subjicite eam, et dominamini piscibus maris, et volatilibus cæli, et universis animantibus, quæ moventur super terram.
- Dieu les bénit, et Dieu leur dit: Soyez féconds, multipliez, remplissez la terre, et l'assujettissez; et dominez sur les poissons de la mer, sur les oiseaux du ciel, et sur tout animal qui se meut sur la terre. (Ⅱ)
- And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. (Ⅲ)
- καὶ ηὐλόγησεν αὐτοὺς ὁ θεὸς λέγων αὐξάνεσθε καὶ πληθύνεσθε καὶ πληρώσατε τὴν γη̃ν καὶ κατακυριεύσατε αὐτη̃ς καὶ ἄρχετε τω̃ν ἰχθύων τη̃ς θαλάσσης καὶ τω̃ν πετεινω̃ν του̃ οὐρανου̃ καὶ πάντων τω̃ν κτηνω̃ν καὶ πάσης τη̃ς γη̃ς καὶ πάντων τω̃ν ἑρπετω̃ν τω̃ν ἑρπόντων ἐπὶ τη̃ς γη̃ς (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 28 ׃1   ויברך אתם אלהים ויאמר להם אלהים פרו ורבו ומלאו את הארץ וכבשה ורדו בדגת הים ובעוף השמים ובכל חיה הרמשת על הארץ ‬ (Ⅴ)

Dixitque Deus : Ecce dedi vobis omnem herbam afferentem semen super terram, et universa ligna quæ habent in semetipsis sementem generis sui, ut sint vobis in escam :
- Et Dieu dit: Voici, je vous donne toute herbe portant de la semence et qui est à la surface de toute la terre, et tout arbre ayant en lui du fruit d'arbre et portant de la semence: ce sera votre nourriture. (Ⅱ)
- And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. (Ⅲ)
- καὶ εἰ̃πεν ὁ θεός ἰδοὺ δέδωκα ὑμι̃ν πα̃ν χόρτον σπόριμον σπει̃ρον σπέρμα ὅ ἐστιν ἐπάνω πάσης τη̃ς γη̃ς καὶ πα̃ν ξύλον ὃ ἔχει ἐν ἑαυτω̨̃ καρπὸν σπέρματος σπορίμου ὑμι̃ν ἔσται εἰς βρω̃σιν (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 29 ׃1   ויאמר אלהים הנה נתתי לכם את כל עשב זרע זרע אשר על פני כל הארץ ואת כל העץ אשר בו פרי עץ זרע זרע לכם יהיה לאכלה ‬ (Ⅴ)

et cunctis animantibus terræ, omnique volucri cæli, et universis quæ moventur in terra, et in quibus est anima vivens, ut habeant ad vescendum. Et factum est ita.
- Et à tout animal de la terre, à tout oiseau du ciel, et à tout ce qui se meut sur la terre, ayant en soi un souffle de vie, je donne toute herbe verte pour nourriture. Et cela fut ainsi. (Ⅱ)
- And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so. (Ⅲ)
- καὶ πα̃σι τοι̃ς θηρίοις τη̃ς γη̃ς καὶ πα̃σι τοι̃ς πετεινοι̃ς του̃ οὐρανου̃ καὶ παντὶ ἑρπετω̨̃ τω̨̃ ἕρποντι ἐπὶ τη̃ς γη̃ς ὃ ἔχει ἐν ἑαυτω̨̃ ψυχὴν ζωη̃ς πάντα χόρτον χλωρὸν εἰς βρω̃σιν καὶ ἐγένετο οὕτως (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 30 ׃1   ולכל חית הארץ ולכל עוף השמים ולכל רומש על הארץ אשר בו נפש חיה את כל ירק עשב לאכלה ויהי כן ‬ (Ⅴ)

Viditque Deus cuncta quæ fecerat, et erant valde bona. Et factum est vespere et mane, dies sextus.
- Dieu vit tout ce qu'il avait fait et voici, cela était très bon. Ainsi, il y eut un soir, et il y eut un matin: ce fut le sixième jour. (Ⅱ)
- And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day. (Ⅲ)
- καὶ εἰ̃δεν ὁ θεὸς τὰ πάντα ὅσα ἐποίησεν καὶ ἰδοὺ καλὰ λίαν καὶ ἐγένετο ἑσπέρα καὶ ἐγένετο πρωί ἡμέρα ἕκτη (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 31 ׃1   וירא אלהים את כל אשר עשה והנה טוב מאד ויהי ערב ויהי בקר יום הששי פ‬ (Ⅴ)
