15. 1

In the twenty and seventh year of Jeroboam king of Israel began Azariah son of Amaziah king of Judah to reign.

- La vingt-septième année de Jéroboam, roi d'Israël, Azaria, fils d'Amatsia, roi de Juda, régna. (Ⅱ)

- ἐν ἔτει εἰκοστω̨̃ καὶ ἑβδόμω̨ τω̨̃ Ιεροβοαμ βασιλει̃ Ισραηλ ἐβασίλευσεν Αζαριας υἱὸς Αμεσσιου βασιλέως Ιουδα (Ⅲ)

- Anno vigesimo septimo Jeroboam regis Israël, regnavit Azarias filius Amasiæ regis Juda. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 1 ׃15 בשנת עשרים ושבע שנה לירבעם מלך ישראל מלך עזריה בן אמציה מלך יהודה ‬ (Ⅴ)

15. 2

Sixteen years old was he when he began to reign, and he reigned two and fifty years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Jecholiah of Jerusalem.

- Il avait seize ans lorsqu'il devint roi, et il régna cinquante-deux ans à Jérusalem. Sa mère s'appelait Jecolia, de Jérusalem. (Ⅱ)

- υἱὸς ἑκκαίδεκα ἐτω̃ν ἠ̃ν ἐν τω̨̃ βασιλεύειν αὐτὸν καὶ πεντήκοντα καὶ δύο ἔτη ἐβασίλευσεν ἐν Ιερουσαλημ καὶ ὄνομα τη̨̃ μητρὶ αὐτου̃ Χαλια ἐξ Ιερουσαλημ (Ⅲ)

- Sedecim annorum erat cum regnare cœpisset, et quinquaginta duobus annis regnavit in Jerusalem : nomen matris ejus Jechelia de Jerusalem. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 2 ׃15 בן שש עשרה שנה היה במלכו וחמשים ושתים שנה מלך בירושלם ושם אמו יכליהו מירושלם ‬ (Ⅴ)

15. 3

And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD, according to all that his father Amaziah had done;

- Il fit ce qui est droit aux yeux de l'Éternel, entièrement comme avait fait Amatsia, son père. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἐποίησεν τὸ εὐθὲς ἐν ὀφθαλμοι̃ς κυρίου κατὰ πάντα ὅσα ἐποίησεν Αμεσσιας ὁ πατὴρ αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ)

- Fecitque quod erat placitum coram Domino, juxta omnia quæ fecit Amasias pater ejus. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 3 ׃15 ויעש הישר בעיני יהוה ככל אשר עשה אמציהו אביו ‬ (Ⅴ)

15. 4

Save that the high places were not removed: the people sacrificed and burnt incense still on the high places.

- Seulement, les hauts lieux ne disparurent point; le peuple offrait encore des sacrifices et des parfums sur les hauts lieux. (Ⅱ)

- πλὴν τω̃ν ὑψηλω̃ν οὐκ ἐξη̃ρεν ἔτι ὁ λαὸς ἐθυσίαζεν καὶ ἐθυμίων ἐν τοι̃ς ὑψηλοι̃ς (Ⅲ)

- Verumtamen excelsa non est demolitus : adhuc populus sacrificabat, et adolebat incensum in excelsis. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 4 ׃15 רק הבמות לא סרו עוד העם מזבחים ומקטרים בבמות ‬ (Ⅴ)

15. 5

And the LORD smote the king, so that he was a leper unto the day of his death, and dwelt in a several house. And Jotham the king's son was over the house, judging the people of the land.

- L'Éternel frappa le roi, qui fut lépreux jusqu'au jour de sa mort et demeura dans une maison écartée. Et Jotham, fils du roi, était à la tête de la maison et jugeait le peuple du pays. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἥψατο κύριος του̃ βασιλέως καὶ ἠ̃ν λελεπρωμένος ἕως ἡμέρας θανάτου αὐτου̃ καὶ ἐβασίλευσεν ἐν οἴκω̨ αφφουσωθ καὶ Ιωαθαμ υἱὸς του̃ βασιλέως ἐπὶ τω̨̃ οἴκω̨ κρίνων τὸν λαὸν τη̃ς γη̃ς (Ⅲ)

- Percussit autem Dominus regem, et fuit leprosus usque in diem mortis suæ, et habitabat in domo libera seorsum : Joatham vero filius regis gubernabat palatium, et judicabit populum terræ. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 5 ׃15 וינגע יהוה את המלך ויהי מצרע עד יום מתו וישב בבית החפשית ויותם בן המלך על הבית שפט את עם הארץ ‬ (Ⅴ)

15. 6

And the rest of the acts of Azariah, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?

- Le reste des actions d'Azaria, et tout ce qu'il a fait, cela n'est-il pas écrit dans le livre des Chroniques des rois de Juda? (Ⅱ)

- καὶ τὰ λοιπὰ τω̃ν λόγων Αζαριου καὶ πάντα ὅσα ἐποίησεν οὐκ ἰδοὺ ταυ̃τα γεγραμμένα ἐπὶ βιβλίου λόγων τω̃ν ἡμερω̃ν τοι̃ς βασιλευ̃σιν Ιουδα (Ⅲ)

- Reliqua autem sermonum Azariæ, et universa quæ fecit, nonne hæc scripta sunt in libro verborum dierum regum Juda ? (Ⅳ)

15. 7

So Azariah slept with his fathers; and they buried him with his fathers in the city of David: and Jotham his son reigned in his stead.

- Azaria se coucha avec ses pères, et on l'enterra avec ses pères dans la ville de David. Et Jotham, son fils, régna à sa place. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἐκοιμήθη Αζαριας μετὰ τω̃ν πατέρων αὐτου̃ καὶ ἔθαψαν αὐτὸν μετὰ τω̃ν πατέρων αὐτου̃ ἐν πόλει Δαυιδ καὶ ἐβασίλευσεν Ιωαθαμ υἱὸς αὐτου̃ ἀντ' αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ)

- Et dormivit Azarias cum patribus suis : sepelieruntque eum cum majoribus suis in civitate David, et regnavit Joatham filius ejus pro eo.\ (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 7 ׃15 וישכב עזריה עם אבתיו ויקברו אתו עם אבתיו בעיר דוד וימלך יותם בנו תחתיו פ‬ (Ⅴ)

15. 8

In the thirty and eighth year of Azariah king of Judah did Zachariah the son of Jeroboam reign over Israel in Samaria six months.

- La trente-huitième année d'Azaria, roi de Juda, Zacharie, fils de Jéroboam, régna sur Israël à Samarie. Il régna six mois. (Ⅱ)

- ἐν ἔτει τριακοστω̨̃ καὶ ὀγδόω̨ τω̨̃ Αζαρια βασιλει̃ Ιουδα ἐβασίλευσεν Ζαχαριας υἱὸς Ιεροβοαμ ἐπὶ Ισραηλ ἐν Σαμαρεία̨ ἑξάμηνον (Ⅲ)

- Anno trigesimo octavo Azariæ regis Juda, regnavit Zacharias filius Jeroboam super Israël in Samaria sex mensibus. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 8 ׃15 בשנת שלשים ושמנה שנה לעזריהו מלך יהודה מלך זכריהו בן ירבעם על ישראל בשמרון ששה חדשים ‬ (Ⅴ)

15. 9

And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, as his fathers had done: he departed not from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin.

- Il fit ce qui est mal aux yeux de l'Éternel, comme avaient fait ses pères; il ne se détourna point des péchés de Jéroboam, fils de Nebath, qui avait fait pécher Israël. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἐποίησεν τὸ πονηρὸν ἐν ὀφθαλμοι̃ς κυρίου καθὰ ἐποίησαν οἱ πατέρες αὐτου̃ οὐκ ἀπέστη ἀπὸ ἁμαρτιω̃ν Ιεροβοαμ υἱου̃ Ναβατ ὃς ἐξήμαρτεν τὸν Ισραηλ (Ⅲ)

- Et fecit quod malum est coram Domino, sicut fecerant patres ejus : non recessit a peccatis Jeroboam filii Nabat, qui peccare fecit Israël. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 9 ׃15 ויעש הרע בעיני יהוה כאשר עשו אבתיו לא סר מחטאות ירבעם בן נבט אשר החטיא את ישראל ‬ (Ⅴ)

15. 10

And Shallum the son of Jabesh conspired against him, and smote him before the people, and slew him, and reigned in his stead.

- Schallum, fils de Jabesch, conspira contre lui, le frappa devant le peuple, et le fit mourir; et il régna à sa place. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ συνεστράφησαν ἐπ' αὐτὸν Σελλουμ υἱὸς Ιαβις καὶ Κεβλααμ καὶ ἐπάταξαν αὐτὸν καὶ ἐθανάτωσαν αὐτόν καὶ Σελλουμ ἐβασίλευσεν ἀντ' αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ)

- Conjuravit autem contra eum Sellum filius Jabes : percussitque eum palam, et interfecit, regnavitque pro eo. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 10 ׃15 ויקשר עליו שלם בן יבש ויכהו קבל עם וימיתהו וימלך תחתיו ‬ (Ⅴ)

15. 11

And the rest of the acts of Zachariah, behold, they are written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel.

- Le reste des actions de Zacharie, cela est écrit dans le livre des Chroniques des rois d'Israël. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ τὰ λοιπὰ τω̃ν λόγων Ζαχαριου ἰδού ἐστιν γεγραμμένα ἐπὶ βιβλίω̨ λόγων τω̃ν ἡμερω̃ν τοι̃ς βασιλευ̃σιν Ισραηλ (Ⅲ)

- Reliqua autem verborum Zachariæ, nonne hæc scripta sunt in libro sermonum dierum regum Israël ? (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 11 ׃15 ויתר דברי זכריה הנם כתובים על ספר דברי הימים למלכי ישראל ‬ (Ⅴ)

15. 12

This was the word of the LORD which he spake unto Jehu, saying, Thy sons shall sit on the throne of Israel unto the fourth generation. And so it came to pass.

- Ainsi s'accomplit ce que l'Éternel avait déclaré à Jéhu, en disant: Tes fils jusqu'à la quatrième génération seront assis sur le trône d'Israël. (Ⅱ)

- ὁ λόγος κυρίου ὃν ἐλάλησεν πρὸς Ιου λέγων υἱοὶ τέταρτοι καθήσονταί σοι ἐπὶ θρόνου Ισραηλ καὶ ἐγένετο οὕτως (Ⅲ)

- Iste est sermo Domini quem locutus est ad Jehu, dicens : Filii tui usque ad quartam generationem sedebunt super thronum Israël. Factumque est ita.\ (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 12 ׃15 הוא דבר יהוה אשר דבר אל יהוא לאמר בני רביעים ישבו לך על כסא ישראל ויהי כן פ‬ (Ⅴ)

15. 13

Shallum the son of Jabesh began to reign in the nine and thirtieth year of Uzziah king of Judah; and he reigned a full month in Samaria.

- Schallum, fils de Jabesch, régna la trente-neuvième année d'Ozias, roi de Juda. Il régna pendant un mois à Samarie. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ Σελλουμ υἱὸς Ιαβις ἐβασίλευσεν καὶ ἐν ἔτει τριακοστω̨̃ καὶ ἐνάτω̨ Αζαρια βασιλει̃ Ιουδα ἐβασίλευσεν Σελλουμ μη̃να ἡμερω̃ν ἐν Σαμαρεία̨ (Ⅲ)

- Sellum filius Jabes regnavit trigesimo novo anno Azariæ regis Juda : regnavit autem uno mense in Samaria. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 13 ׃15 שלום בן יביש מלך בשנת שלשים ותשע שנה לעזיה מלך יהודה וימלך ירח ימים בשמרון ‬ (Ⅴ)

15. 14

For Menahem the son of Gadi went up from Tirzah, and came to Samaria, and smote Shallum the son of Jabesh in Samaria, and slew him, and reigned in his stead.

- Menahem, fils de Gadi, monta de Thirtsa et vint à Samarie, frappa dans Samarie Schallum, fils de Jabesch, et le fit mourir; et il régna à sa place. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἀνέβη Μαναημ υἱὸς Γαδδι ἐκ Θαρσιλα καὶ ἠ̃λθεν εἰς Σαμάρειαν καὶ ἐπάταξεν τὸν Σελλουμ υἱὸν Ιαβις ἐν Σαμαρεία̨ καὶ ἐθανάτωσεν αὐτόν (Ⅲ)

- Et ascendit Manahem filius Gadi de Thersa, venitque in Samariam, et percussit Sellum filium Jabes in Samaria, et interfecit eum : regnavitque pro eo. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 14 ׃15 ויעל מנחם בן גדי מתרצה ויבא שמרון ויך את שלום בן יביש בשמרון וימיתהו וימלך תחתיו ‬ (Ⅴ)

15. 15

And the rest of the acts of Shallum, and his conspiracy which he made, behold, they are written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel.

- Le reste des actions de Schallum, et la conspiration qu'il forma, cela est écrit dans le livre des Chroniques des rois d'Israël. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ τὰ λοιπὰ τω̃ν λόγων Σελλουμ καὶ ἡ συστροφὴ αὐτου̃ ἣν συνεστράφη ἰδού εἰσιν γεγραμμένα ἐπὶ βιβλίω̨ λόγων τω̃ν ἡμερω̃ν τοι̃ς βασιλευ̃σιν Ισραηλ (Ⅲ)

15. 16

Then Menahem smote Tiphsah, and all that were therein, and the coasts thereof from Tirzah: because they opened not to him, therefore he smote it; and all the women therein that were with child he ripped up.

- Alors Menahem frappa Thiphsach et tous ceux qui y étaient, avec son territoire depuis Thirtsa; il la frappa parce qu'elle n'avait pas ouvert ses portes, et il fendit le ventre de toutes les femmes enceintes. (Ⅱ)

- τότε ἐπάταξεν Μαναημ τὴν Θερσα καὶ πάντα τὰ ἐν αὐτη̨̃ καὶ τὰ ὅρια αὐτη̃ς ἀπὸ Θερσα ὅτι οὐκ ἤνοιξαν αὐτω̨̃ καὶ ἐπάταξεν αὐτὴν καὶ τὰς ἐν γαστρὶ ἐχούσας ἀνέρρηξεν (Ⅲ)

- Tunc percussit Manahem Thapsam, et omnes qui erant in ea, et terminos ejus de Thersa : noluerant enim aperire ei : et interfecit omnes prægnantes ejus, et scidit eas.\ (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 16 ׃15 אז יכה מנחם את תפסח ואת כל אשר בה ואת גבוליה מתרצה כי לא פתח ויך את כל ההרותיה בקע פ‬ (Ⅴ)

15. 17

In the nine and thirtieth year of Azariah king of Judah began Menahem the son of Gadi to reign over Israel, and reigned ten years in Samaria.

- La trente-neuvième année d'Azaria, roi de Juda, Menahem, fils de Gadi, régna sur Israël. Il régna dix ans à Samarie. (Ⅱ)

- ἐν ἔτει τριακοστω̨̃ καὶ ἐνάτω̨ Αζαρια βασιλει̃ Ιουδα καὶ ἐβασίλευσεν Μαναημ υἱὸς Γαδδι ἐπὶ Ισραηλ δέκα ἔτη ἐν Σαμαρεία̨ (Ⅲ)

- Anno trigesimo nono Azariæ regis Juda, regnavit Manahem filius Gadi super Israël decem annis in Samaria. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 17 ׃15 בשנת שלשים ותשע שנה לעזריה מלך יהודה מלך מנחם בן גדי על ישראל עשר שנים בשמרון ‬ (Ⅴ)

15. 18

And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD: he departed not all his days from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin.

- Il fit ce qui est mal aux yeux de l'Éternel; il ne se détourna point, tant qu'il vécut, des péchés de Jéroboam, fils de Nebath, qui avait fait pécher Israël. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἐποίησεν τὸ πονηρὸν ἐν ὀφθαλμοι̃ς κυρίου οὐκ ἀπέστη ἀπὸ πασω̃ν ἁμαρτιω̃ν Ιεροβοαμ υἱου̃ Ναβατ ὃς ἐξήμαρτεν τὸν Ισραηλ (Ⅲ)

- Fecitque quod erat malum coram Domino : non recessit a peccatis Jeroboam filii Nabat, qui peccare fecit Israël, cunctis diebus ejus. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 18 ׃15 ויעש הרע בעיני יהוה לא סר מעל חטאות ירבעם בן נבט אשר החטיא את ישראל כל ימיו ‬ (Ⅴ)

15. 19

And Pul the king of Assyria came against the land: and Menahem gave Pul a thousand talents of silver, that his hand might be with him to confirm the kingdom in his hand.

- Pul, roi d'Assyrie, vint dans le pays; et Menahem donna à Pul mille talents d'argent, pour qu'il aidât à affermir la royauté entre ses mains. (Ⅱ)

- ἐν ται̃ς ἡμέραις αὐτου̃ ἀνέβη Φουλ βασιλεὺς 'Ασσυρίων ἐπὶ τὴν γη̃ν καὶ Μαναημ ἔδωκεν τω̨̃ Φουλ χίλια τάλαντα ἀργυρίου εἰ̃ναι τὴν χει̃ρα αὐτου̃ μετ' αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ)

- Veniebat Phul rex Assyriorum in terram, et dabat Manahem Phul mille talenta argenti, ut esset ei in auxilium, et firmaret regnum ejus. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 19 ׃15 בא פול מלך אשור על הארץ ויתן מנחם לפול אלף ככר כסף להיות ידיו אתו להחזיק הממלכה בידו ‬ (Ⅴ)

15. 20

And Menahem exacted the money of Israel, even of all the mighty men of wealth, of each man fifty shekels of silver, to give to the king of Assyria. So the king of Assyria turned back, and stayed not there in the land.

- Menahem leva cet argent sur tous ceux d'Israël qui avaient de la richesse, afin de le donner au roi d'Assyrie; il les taxa chacun à cinquante sicles d'argent. Le roi d'Assyrie s'en retourna, et ne s'arrêta pas alors dans le pays. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἐξήνεγκεν Μαναημ τὸ ἀργύριον ἐπὶ τὸν Ισραηλ ἐπὶ πα̃ν δυνατὸν ἰσχύι δου̃ναι τω̨̃ βασιλει̃ τω̃ν 'Ασσυρίων πεντήκοντα σίκλους τω̨̃ ἀνδρὶ τω̨̃ ἑνί καὶ ἀπέστρεψεν βασιλεὺς 'Ασσυρίων καὶ οὐκ ἔστη ἐκει̃ ἐν τη̨̃ γη̨̃ (Ⅲ)

- Indixitque Manahem argentum super Israël cunctis potentibus et divitibus, ut daret regi Assyriorum quinquaginta siclos argenti per singulos : reversusque est rex Assyriorum, et non est moratus in terra. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 20 ׃15 ויצא מנחם את הכסף על ישראל על כל גבורי החיל לתת למלך אשור חמשים שקלים כסף לאיש אחד וישב מלך אשור ולא עמד שם בארץ ‬ (Ⅴ)

15. 21

And the rest of the acts of Menahem, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?

- Le reste des actions de Menahem, et tout ce qu'il a fait, cela n'est-il pas écrit dans le livre des Chroniques des rois d'Israël? (Ⅱ)

And Menahem slept with his fathers; and Pekahiah his son reigned in his stead.

- καὶ ἐκοιμήθη Μαναημ μετὰ τω̃ν πατέρων αὐτου̃ καὶ ἐβασίλευσεν Φακεϊας υἱὸς αὐτου̃ ἀντ' αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ)

In the fiftieth year of Azariah king of Judah Pekahiah the son of Menahem began to reign over Israel in Samaria, and reigned two years.

- La cinquantième année d'Azaria, roi de Juda, Pekachia, fils de Menahem, régna sur Israël à Samarie. Il régna deux ans. (Ⅱ)

- ἐν ἔτει πεντηκοστω̨̃ του̃ Αζαριου βασιλέως Ιουδα ἐβασίλευσεν Φακεϊας υἱὸς Μαναημ ἐπὶ Ισραηλ ἐν Σαμαρεία̨ δύο ἔτη (Ⅲ)

- Anno quinquagesimo Azariæ regis Juda, regnavit Phaceia filius Manahem super Israël in Samaria biennio. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 23 ׃15 בשנת חמשים שנה לעזריה מלך יהודה מלך פקחיה בן מנחם על ישראל בשמרון שנתים ‬ (Ⅴ)

15. 24

And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD: he departed not from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin.

But Pekah the son of Remaliah, a captain of his, conspired against him, and smote him in Samaria, in the palace of the king's house, with Argob and Arieh, and with him fifty men of the Gileadites: and he killed him, and reigned in his room.

And the rest of the acts of Pekahiah, and all that he did, behold, they are written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel.

15. 27

In the two and fiftieth year of Azariah king of Judah Pekah the son of Remaliah began to reign over Israel in Samaria, and reigned twenty years.

- La cinquante-deuxième année d'Azaria, roi de Juda, Pékach, fils de Remalia, régna sur Israël à Samarie. Il régna vingt ans. (Ⅱ)

- ἐν ἔτει πεντηκοστω̨̃ καὶ δευτέρω̨ του̃ Αζαριου βασιλέως Ιουδα ἐβασίλευσεν Φακεε υἱὸς Ρομελιου ἐπὶ Ισραηλ ἐν Σαμαρεία̨ εἴκοσι ἔτη (Ⅲ)

- Anno quinquagesimo secundo Azariæ regis Juda, regnavit Phacee filius Romeliæ super Israël in Samaria viginti annis. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 27 ׃15 בשנת חמשים ושתים שנה לעזריה מלך יהודה מלך פקח בן רמליהו על ישראל בשמרון עשרים שנה ‬ (Ⅴ)

15. 28

And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD: he departed not from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin.

- Il fit ce qui est mal aux yeux de l'Éternel; il ne se détourna point des péchés de Jéroboam, fils de Nebath, qui avait fait pécher Israël. (Ⅱ)

- Et fecit quod erat malum coram Domino : non recessit a peccatis Jeroboam filii Nabat, qui peccare fecit Israël. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 28 ׃15 ויעש הרע בעיני יהוה לא סר מן חטאות ירבעם בן נבט אשר החטיא את ישראל ‬ (Ⅴ)

15. 29

In the days of Pekah king of Israel came Tiglathpileser king of Assyria, and took Ijon, and Abelbethmaachah, and Janoah, and Kedesh, and Hazor, and Gilead, and Galilee, all the land of Naphtali, and carried them captive to Assyria.

- Du temps de Pékach, roi d'Israël, Tiglath Piléser, roi d'Assyrie, vint et prit Ijjon, Abel Beth Maaca, Janoach, Kédesch, Hatsor, Galaad et la Galilée, tout le pays de Nephthali, et il emmena captifs les habitants en Assyrie. (Ⅱ)

- ἐν ται̃ς ἡμέραις Φακεε βασιλέως Ισραηλ ἠ̃λθεν Θαγλαθφελλασαρ βασιλεὺς 'Ασσυρίων καὶ ἔλαβεν τὴν Αιν καὶ τὴν Αβελβαιθαμααχα καὶ τὴν Ιανωχ καὶ τὴν Κενεζ καὶ τὴν Ασωρ καὶ τὴν Γαλααδ καὶ τὴν Γαλιλαίαν πα̃σαν γη̃ν Νεφθαλι καὶ ἀπώ̨κισεν αὐτοὺς εἰς 'Ασσυρίους (Ⅲ)

- In diebus Phacee regis Israël, venit Theglathphalasar rex Assur, et cepit Ajon, et Abel Domum, Maacha et Janoë, et Cedes, et Asor, et Galaad, et Galilæam, et universam terram Nephthali : et transtulit eos in Assyrios. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 29 ׃15 בימי פקח מלך ישראל בא תגלת פלאסר מלך אשור ויקח את עיון ואת אבל בית מעכה ואת ינוח ואת קדש ואת חצור ואת הגלעד ואת הגלילה כל ארץ נפתלי ויגלם אשורה ‬ (Ⅴ)

15. 30

And Hoshea the son of Elah made a conspiracy against Pekah the son of Remaliah, and smote him, and slew him, and reigned in his stead, in the twentieth year of Jotham the son of Uzziah.

- Osée, fils d'Éla, forma une conspiration contre Pékach, fils de Remalia, le frappa et le fit mourir; et il régna à sa place, la vingtième année de Jotham, fils d'Ozias. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ συνέστρεψεν σύστρεμμα Ωσηε υἱὸς Ηλα ἐπὶ Φακεε υἱὸν Ρομελιου καὶ ἐπάταξεν αὐτὸν καὶ ἐθανάτωσεν αὐτὸν καὶ ἐβασίλευσεν ἀντ' αὐτου̃ ἐν ἔτει εἰκοστω̨̃ Ιωαθαμ υἱου̃ Αζαριου (Ⅲ)

- Conjuravit autem et tetendit insidias Osee filius Ela contra Phacee filium Romeliæ, et percussit eum, et interfecit : regnavitque pro eo vigesimo anno Joatham filii Oziæ. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 30 ׃15 ויקשר קשר הושע בן אלה על פקח בן רמליהו ויכהו וימיתהו וימלך תחתיו בשנת עשרים ליותם בן עזיה ‬ (Ⅴ)

15. 31

In the second year of Pekah the son of Remaliah king of Israel began Jotham the son of Uzziah king of Judah to reign.

- La seconde année de Pékach, fils de Remalia, roi d'Israël, Jotham, fils d'Ozias, roi de Juda, régna. (Ⅱ)

- ἐν ἔτει δευτέρω̨ Φακεε υἱου̃ Ρομελιου βασιλέως Ισραηλ ἐβασίλευσεν Ιωαθαμ υἱὸς Αζαριου βασιλέως Ιουδα (Ⅲ)

- Anno secundo Phacee filii Romeliæ regis Israël, regnavit Joatham filius Oziæ regis Juda. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 32 ׃15 בשנת שתים לפקח בן רמליהו מלך ישראל מלך יותם בן עזיהו מלך יהודה ‬ (Ⅴ)

15. 33

Five and twenty years old was he when he began to reign, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Jerusha, the daughter of Zadok.

- Il avait vingt-cinq ans lorsqu'il devint roi, et il régna seize ans à Jérusalem. Sa mère s'appelait Jeruscha, fille de Tsadok. (Ⅱ)

- υἱὸς εἴκοσι καὶ πέντε ἐτω̃ν ἠ̃ν ἐν τω̨̃ βασιλεύειν αὐτὸν καὶ ἑκκαίδεκα ἔτη ἐβασίλευσεν ἐν Ιερουσαλημ καὶ ὄνομα τη̃ς μητρὸς αὐτου̃ Ιερουσα θυγάτηρ Σαδωκ (Ⅲ)

- Viginti quinque annorum erat cum regnare cœpisset, et sedecim annis regnavit in Jerusalem : nomen matris ejus Jerusa filia Sadoc. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 33 ׃15 בן עשרים וחמש שנה היה במלכו ושש עשרה שנה מלך בירושלם ושם אמו ירושא בת צדוק ‬ (Ⅴ)

15. 34

And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD: he did according to all that his father Uzziah had done.

- Il fit ce qui est droit aux yeux de l'Éternel; il agit entièrement comme avait agi Ozias, son père. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἐποίησεν τὸ εὐθὲς ἐν ὀφθαλμοι̃ς κυρίου κατὰ πάντα ὅσα ἐποίησεν Οζιας ὁ πατὴρ αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ)

- Fecitque quod erat placitum coram Domino : juxta omnia quæ fecerat Ozias pater suus, operatus est. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 34 ׃15 ויעש הישר בעיני יהוה ככל אשר עשה עזיהו אביו עשה ‬ (Ⅴ)

15. 35

Howbeit the high places were not removed: the people sacrificed and burned incense still in the high places. He built the higher gate of the house of the LORD.

- Seulement, les hauts lieux ne disparurent point; le peuple offrait encore des sacrifices et des parfums sur les hauts lieux. Jotham bâtit la porte supérieure de la maison de l'Éternel. (Ⅱ)

- πλὴν τὰ ὑψηλὰ οὐκ ἐξη̃ρεν ἔτι ὁ λαὸς ἐθυσίαζεν καὶ ἐθυμία ἐν τοι̃ς ὑψηλοι̃ς αὐτὸς ὠ̨κοδόμησεν τὴν πύλην οἴκου κυρίου τὴν ἐπάνω (Ⅲ)

- Verumtamen excelsa non abstulit : adhuc populus immolabat, et adolebat incensum in excelsis. Ipse ædificavit portam domus Domini sublimissimam. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 35 ׃15 רק הבמות לא סרו עוד העם מזבחים ומקטרים בבמות הוא בנה את שער בית יהוה העליון ‬ (Ⅴ)

15. 36

Now the rest of the acts of Jotham, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?

In those days the LORD began to send against Judah Rezin the king of Syria, and Pekah the son of Remaliah.

- Dans ce temps-là, l'Éternel commença à envoyer contre Juda Retsin, roi de Syrie, et Pékach, fils de Remalia. (Ⅱ)

- ἐν ται̃ς ἡμέραις ἐκείναις ἤρξατο κύριος ἐξαποστέλλειν ἐν Ιουδα τὸν Ραασσων βασιλέα Συρίας καὶ τὸν Φακεε υἱὸν Ρομελιου (Ⅲ)

- In diebus illis cœpit Dominus mittere in Judam Rasin regem Syriæ, et Phacee filium Romeliæ. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 37 ׃15 בימים ההם החל יהוה להשליח ביהודה רצין מלך ארם ואת פקח בן רמליהו ‬ (Ⅴ)

15. 38

And Jotham slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the city of David his father: and Ahaz his son reigned in his stead.

- Jotham se coucha avec ses pères, et il fut enterré avec ses pères dans la ville de David, son père. Et Achaz, son fils, régna à sa place. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἐκοιμήθη Ιωαθαμ μετὰ τω̃ν πατέρων αὐτου̃ καὶ ἐτάφη μετὰ τω̃ν πατέρων αὐτου̃ ἐν πόλει Δαυιδ του̃ πατρὸς αὐτου̃ καὶ ἐβασίλευσεν Αχαζ υἱὸς αὐτου̃ ἀντ' αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ)

- Et dormivit Joatham cum patribus suis, sepultusque est cum eis in civitate David patris sui : et regnavit Achaz filius ejus pro eo. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 38 ׃15 וישכב יותם עם אבתיו ויקבר עם אבתיו בעיר דוד אביו וימלך אחז בנו תחתיו פ‬ (Ⅴ)
