21. 1

Manasseh was twelve years old when he began to reign, and reigned fifty and five years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Hephzibah.

- Manassé avait douze ans lorsqu'il devint roi, et il régna cinquante-cinq ans à Jérusalem. Sa mère s'appelait Hephtsiba. (Ⅱ)

- υἱὸς δώδεκα ἐτω̃ν Μανασσης ἐν τω̨̃ βασιλεύειν αὐτὸν καὶ πεντήκοντα καὶ πέντε ἔτη ἐβασίλευσεν ἐν Ιερουσαλημ καὶ ὄνομα τη̨̃ μητρὶ αὐτου̃ Οψιβα (Ⅲ)

- Duodecim annorum erat Manasses cum regnare cœpisset, et quinquaginta quinque annis regnavit in Jerusalem : nomen matris ejus Haphsiba. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 1 ׃21 בן שתים עשרה שנה מנשה במלכו וחמשים וחמש שנה מלך בירושלם ושם אמו חפצי בה ‬ (Ⅴ)

21. 2

And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, after the abominations of the heathen, whom the LORD cast out before the children of Israel.

- Il fit ce qui est mal aux yeux de l'Éternel, selon les abominations des nations que l'Éternel avait chassées devant les enfants d'Israël. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἐποίησεν τὸ πονηρὸν ἐν ὀφθαλμοι̃ς κυρίου κατὰ τὰ βδελύγματα τω̃ν ἐθνω̃ν ὡ̃ν ἐξη̃ρεν κύριος ἀπὸ προσώπου τω̃ν υἱω̃ν Ισραηλ (Ⅲ)

- Fecitque malum in conspectu Domini, juxta idola gentium quas delevit Dominus a facie filiorum Israël. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 2 ׃21 ויעש הרע בעיני יהוה כתועבת הגוים אשר הוריש יהוה מפני בני ישראל ‬ (Ⅴ)

21. 3

For he built up again the high places which Hezekiah his father had destroyed; and he reared up altars for Baal, and made a grove, as did Ahab king of Israel; and worshipped all the host of heaven, and served them.

- Il rebâtit les hauts lieux qu'Ézéchias, son père, avait détruits, il éleva des autels à Baal, il fit une idole d'Astarté, comme avait fait Achab, roi d'Israël, et il se prosterna devant toute l'armée des cieux et la servit. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἐπέστρεψεν καὶ ὠ̨κοδόμησεν τὰ ὑψηλά ἃ κατέσπασεν Εζεκιας ὁ πατὴρ αὐτου̃ καὶ ἀνέστησεν θυσιαστήριον τη̨̃ Βααλ καὶ ἐποίησεν ἄλση καθὼς ἐποίησεν Αχααβ βασιλεὺς Ισραηλ καὶ προσεκύνησεν πάση̨ τη̨̃ δυνάμει του̃ οὐρανου̃ καὶ ἐδούλευσεν αὐτοι̃ς (Ⅲ)

- Conversusque est, et ædificavit excelsa quæ dissipaverat Ezechias pater ejus : et erexit aras Baal, et fecit lucos sicut fecerat Achab rex Israël, et adoravit omnem militiam cæli, et coluit eam. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 3 ׃21 וישב ויבן את הבמות אשר אבד חזקיהו אביו ויקם מזבחת לבעל ויעש אשרה כאשר עשה אחאב מלך ישראל וישתחו לכל צבא השמים ויעבד אתם ‬ (Ⅴ)

21. 4

And he built altars in the house of the LORD, of which the LORD said, In Jerusalem will I put my name.

- Il bâtit des autels dans la maison de l'Éternel, quoique l'Éternel eût dit: C'est dans Jérusalem que je placerai mon nom. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ὠ̨κοδόμησεν θυσιαστήριον ἐν οἴκω̨ κυρίου ὡς εἰ̃πεν ἐν Ιερουσαλημ θήσω τὸ ὄνομά μου (Ⅲ)

- Exstruxitque aras in domo Domini, de qua dixit Dominus : In Jerusalem ponam nomen meum. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 4 ׃21 ובנה מזבחת בבית יהוה אשר אמר יהוה בירושלם אשים את שמי ‬ (Ⅴ)

21. 5

And he built altars for all the host of heaven in the two courts of the house of the LORD.

- Il bâtit des autels à toute l'armée des cieux dans les deux parvis de la maison de l'Éternel. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ὠ̨κοδόμησεν θυσιαστήριον πάση̨ τη̨̃ δυνάμει του̃ οὐρανου̃ ἐν ται̃ς δυσὶν αὐλαι̃ς οἴκου κυρίου (Ⅲ)

- Et exstruxit altaria universæ militiæ cæli in duobus atriis templi Domini. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 5 ׃21 ויבן מזבחות לכל צבא השמים בשתי חצרות בית יהוה ‬ (Ⅴ)

21. 6

And he made his son pass through the fire, and observed times, and used enchantments, and dealt with familiar spirits and wizards: he wrought much wickedness in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger.

- Il fit passer son fils par le feu; il observait les nuages et les serpents pour en tirer des pronostics, et il établit des gens qui évoquaient les esprits et qui prédisaient l'avenir. Il fit de plus en plus ce qui est mal aux yeux de l'Éternel, afin de l'irriter. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ διη̃γεν τοὺς υἱοὺς αὐτου̃ ἐν πυρὶ καὶ ἐκληδονίζετο καὶ οἰωνίζετο καὶ ἐποίησεν θελητὴν καὶ γνώστας ἐπλήθυνεν του̃ ποιει̃ν τὸ πονηρὸν ἐν ὀφθαλμοι̃ς κυρίου παροργίσαι αὐτόν (Ⅲ)

- Et traduxit filium suum per ignem : et ariolatus est, et observavit auguria, et fecit pythones, et aruspices multiplicavit, ut faceret malum coram Domino, et irritaret eum. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 6 ׃21 והעביר את בנו באש ועונן ונחש ועשה אוב וידענים הרבה לעשות הרע בעיני יהוה להכעיס ‬ (Ⅴ)

21. 7

And he set a graven image of the grove that he had made in the house, of which the LORD said to David, and to Solomon his son, In this house, and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all tribes of Israel, will I put my name for ever:

- Il mit l'idole d'Astarté, qu'il avait faite, dans la maison de laquelle l'Éternel avait dit à David et à Salomon, son fils: C'est dans cette maison, et c'est dans Jérusalem, que j'ai choisie parmi toutes les tribus d'Israël, que je veux à toujours placer mon nom. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἔθηκεν τὸ γλυπτὸν του̃ ἄλσους ἐν τω̨̃ οἴκω̨ ὡ̨̃ εἰ̃πεν κύριος πρὸς Δαυιδ καὶ πρὸς Σαλωμων τὸν υἱὸν αὐτου̃ ἐν τω̨̃ οἴκω̨ τούτω̨ καὶ ἐν Ιερουσαλημ ἡ̨̃ ἐξελεξάμην ἐκ πασω̃ν φυλω̃ν Ισραηλ καὶ θήσω τὸ ὄνομά μου ἐκει̃ εἰς τὸν αἰω̃να (Ⅲ)

- Posuit quoque idolum luci quem fecerat, in templo Domini, super quod locutus est Dominus ad David, et ad Salomonem filium ejus : In templo hoc, et in Jerusalem quam elegi de cunctis tribubus Israël, ponam nomen meum in sempiternum. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 7 ׃21 וישם את פסל האשרה אשר עשה בבית אשר אמר יהוה אל דוד ואל שלמה בנו בבית הזה ובירושלם אשר בחרתי מכל שבטי ישראל אשים את שמי לעולם ‬ (Ⅴ)

21. 8

Neither will I make the feet of Israel move any more out of the land which I gave their fathers; only if they will observe to do according to all that I have commanded them, and according to all the law that my servant Moses commanded them.

- Je ne ferai plus errer le pied d'Israël hors du pays que j'ai donné à ses pères, pourvu seulement qu'ils aient soin de mettre en pratique tout ce que je leur ai commandé et toute la loi que leur a prescrite mon serviteur Moïse. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ οὐ προσθήσω του̃ σαλευ̃σαι τὸν πόδα Ισραηλ ἀπὸ τη̃ς γη̃ς ἡ̃ς ἔδωκα τοι̃ς πατράσιν αὐτω̃ν οἵτινες φυλάξουσιν πάντα ὅσα ἐνετειλάμην κατὰ πα̃σαν τὴν ἐντολήν ἣν ἐνετείλατο αὐτοι̃ς ὁ δου̃λός μου Μωυση̃ς (Ⅲ)

- Et ultra non faciam commoveri pedem Israël de terra quam dedi patribus eorum : si tamen custodierint opere omnia quæ præcepi eis, et universam legem quam mandavit eis servus meus Moyses. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 8 ׃21 ולא אסיף להניד רגל ישראל מן האדמה אשר נתתי לאבותם רק אם ישמרו לעשות ככל אשר צויתים ולכל התורה אשר צוה אתם עבדי משה ‬ (Ⅴ)

21. 9

But they hearkened not: and Manasseh seduced them to do more evil than did the nations whom the LORD destroyed before the children of Israel.

- Mais ils n'obéirent point; et Manassé fut cause qu'ils s'égarèrent et firent le mal plus que les nations que l'Éternel avait détruites devant les enfants d'Israël. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ οὐκ ἤκουσαν καὶ ἐπλάνησεν αὐτοὺς Μανασσης του̃ ποιη̃σαι τὸ πονηρὸν ἐν ὀφθαλμοι̃ς κυρίου ὑπὲρ τὰ ἔθνη ἃ ἠφάνισεν κύριος ἐκ προσώπου υἱω̃ν Ισραηλ (Ⅲ)

- Illi vero non audierunt : sed seducti sunt a Manasse, ut facerent malum super gentes quas contrivit Dominus a facie filiorum Israël. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 9 ׃21 ולא שמעו ויתעם מנשה לעשות את הרע מן הגוים אשר השמיד יהוה מפני בני ישראל ‬ (Ⅴ)

21. 10

And the LORD spake by his servants the prophets, saying,

- Alors l'Éternel parla en ces termes par ses serviteurs les prophètes: (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος ἐν χειρὶ δούλων αὐτου̃ τω̃ν προφητω̃ν λέγων (Ⅲ)

- Locutusque est Dominus in manu servorum suorum prophetarum, dicens : (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 10 ׃21 וידבר יהוה ביד עבדיו הנביאים לאמר ‬ (Ⅴ)

21. 11

Because Manasseh king of Judah hath done these abominations, and hath done wickedly above all that the Amorites did, which were before him, and hath made Judah also to sin with his idols:

- Parce que Manassé, roi de Juda, a commis ces abominations, parce qu'il a fait pis que tout ce qu'avaient fait avant lui les Amoréens, et parce qu'il a aussi fait pécher Juda par ses idoles, (Ⅱ)

- ἀνθ' ὡ̃ν ὅσα ἐποίησεν Μανασσης ὁ βασιλεὺς Ιουδα τὰ βδελύγματα ταυ̃τα τὰ πονηρὰ ἀπὸ πάντων ὡ̃ν ἐποίησεν ὁ Αμορραι̃ος ὁ ἔμπροσθεν καὶ ἐξήμαρτεν καί γε Ιουδα ἐν τοι̃ς εἰδώλοις αὐτω̃ν (Ⅲ)

- Quia fecit Manasses rex Juda abominationes istas pessimas, super omnia quæ fecerunt Amorrhæi ante eum, et peccare fecit etiam Judam in immunditiis suis : (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 11 ׃21 יען אשר עשה מנשה מלך יהודה התעבות האלה הרע מכל אשר עשו האמרי אשר לפניו ויחטא גם את יהודה בגלוליו פ‬ (Ⅴ)

21. 12

Therefore thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Behold, I am bringing such evil upon Jerusalem and Judah, that whosoever heareth of it, both his ears shall tingle.

- voici ce que dit l'Éternel, le Dieu d'Israël: Je vais faire venir sur Jérusalem et sur Juda des malheurs qui étourdiront les oreilles de quiconque en entendra parler. (Ⅱ)

- οὐχ οὕτως τάδε λέγει κύριος ὁ θεὸς Ισραηλ ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ φέρω κακὰ ἐπὶ Ιερουσαλημ καὶ ἐπὶ Ιουδα ὥστε παντὸς ἀκούοντος ἠχήσει ἀμφότερα τὰ ὠ̃τα αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ)

- propterea hæc dicit Dominus Deus Israël : Ecce ego inducam mala super Jerusalem et Judam, ut quicumque audierit, tinniant ambæ aures ejus. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 12 ׃21 לכן כה אמר יהוה אלהי ישראל הנני מביא רעה על ירושלם ויהודה אשר כל *שמעיו **שמעה תצלנה שתי אזניו ‬ (Ⅴ)

21. 13

And I will stretch over Jerusalem the line of Samaria, and the plummet of the house of Ahab: and I will wipe Jerusalem as a man wipeth a dish, wiping it, and turning it upside down.

- J'étendrai sur Jérusalem le cordeau de Samarie et le niveau de la maison d'Achab; et je nettoierai Jérusalem comme un plat qu'on nettoie, et qu'on renverse sens dessus dessous après l'avoir nettoyé. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἐκτενω̃ ἐπὶ Ιερουσαλημ τὸ μέτρον Σαμαρείας καὶ τὸ στάθμιον οἴκου Αχααβ καὶ ἀπαλείψω τὴν Ιερουσαλημ καθὼς ἀπαλείφεται ὁ ἀλάβαστρος ἀπαλειφόμενος καὶ καταστρέφεται ἐπὶ πρόσωπον αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ)

- Et extendam super Jerusalem funiculum Samariæ, et pondus domus Achab : et delebo Jerusalem, sicut deleri solent tabulæ : et delens vertam, et ducam crebrius stylum super faciem ejus. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 13 ׃21 ונטיתי על ירושלם את קו שמרון ואת משקלת בית אחאב ומחיתי את ירושלם כאשר ימחה את הצלחת מחה והפך על פניה ‬ (Ⅴ)

21. 14

And I will forsake the remnant of mine inheritance, and deliver them into the hand of their enemies; and they shall become a prey and a spoil to all their enemies;

- J'abandonnerai le reste de mon héritage, et je les livrerai entre les mains de leurs ennemis; et ils deviendront le butin et la proie de tous leurs ennemis, (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἀπώσομαι τὸ ὑπόλειμμα τη̃ς κληρονομίας μου καὶ παραδώσω αὐτοὺς εἰς χει̃ρας ἐχθρω̃ν αὐτω̃ν καὶ ἔσονται εἰς διαρπαγὴν καὶ εἰς προνομὴν πα̃σιν τοι̃ς ἐχθροι̃ς αὐτω̃ν (Ⅲ)

- Dimittam vero reliquias hæreditatis meæ, et tradam eas in manus inimicorum ejus, eruntque in vastitatem, et in rapinam cunctis adversariis suis : (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 14 ׃21 ונטשתי את שארית נחלתי ונתתים ביד איביהם והיו לבז ולמשסה לכל איביהם ‬ (Ⅴ)

21. 15

Because they have done that which was evil in my sight, and have provoked me to anger, since the day their fathers came forth out of Egypt, even unto this day.

- parce qu'ils ont fait ce qui est mal à mes yeux et qu'ils m'ont irrité depuis le jour où leurs pères sont sortis d'Égypte jusqu'à ce jour. (Ⅱ)

- ἀνθ' ὡ̃ν ὅσα ἐποίησαν τὸ πονηρὸν ἐν ὀφθαλμοι̃ς μου καὶ ἠ̃σαν παροργίζοντές με ἀπὸ τη̃ς ἡμέρας ἡ̃ς ἐξήγαγον τοὺς πατέρας αὐτω̃ν ἐξ Αἰγύπτου καὶ ἕως τη̃ς ἡμέρας ταύτης (Ⅲ)

- eo quod fecerint malum coram me, et perseveraverint irritantes me, ex die qua egressi sunt patres eorum ex Ægypto usque ad hanc diem. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 15 ׃21 יען אשר עשו את הרע בעיני ויהיו מכעסים אתי מן היום אשר יצאו אבותם ממצרים ועד היום הזה ‬ (Ⅴ)

21. 16

Moreover Manasseh shed innocent blood very much, till he had filled Jerusalem from one end to another; beside his sin wherewith he made Judah to sin, in doing that which was evil in the sight of the LORD.

- Manassé répandit aussi beaucoup de sang innocent, jusqu'à en remplir Jérusalem d'un bout à l'autre, outre les péchés qu'il commit et qu'il fit commettre à Juda en faisant ce qui est mal aux yeux de l'Éternel. (Ⅱ)

- καί γε αἱ̃μα ἀθω̨̃ον ἐξέχεεν Μανασσης πολὺ σφόδρα ἕως οὑ̃ ἔπλησεν τὴν Ιερουσαλημ στόμα εἰς στόμα πλὴν τω̃ν ἁμαρτιω̃ν αὐτου̃ ὡ̃ν ἐξήμαρτεν τὸν Ιουδαν του̃ ποιη̃σαι τὸ πονηρὸν ἐν ὀφθαλμοι̃ς κυρίου (Ⅲ)

- Insuper et sanguinem innoxium fudit Manasses multum nimis, donec impleret Jerusalem usque ad os : absque peccatis suis quibus peccare fecit Judam, ut faceret malum coram Domino. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 16 ׃21 וגם דם נקי שפך מנשה הרבה מאד עד אשר מלא את ירושלם פה לפה לבד מחטאתו אשר החטיא את יהודה לעשות הרע בעיני יהוה ‬ (Ⅴ)

21. 17

Now the rest of the acts of Manasseh, and all that he did, and his sin that he sinned, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?

- Le reste des actions de Manassé, tout ce qu'il a fait, et les péchés auxquels il se livra, cela n'est-il pas écrit dans le livre des Chroniques des rois de Juda? (Ⅱ)

- καὶ τὰ λοιπὰ τω̃ν λόγων Μανασση καὶ πάντα ὅσα ἐποίησεν καὶ ἡ ἁμαρτία αὐτου̃ ἣν ἥμαρτεν οὐχὶ ταυ̃τα γεγραμμένα ἐπὶ βιβλίω̨ λόγων τω̃ν ἡμερω̃ν τοι̃ς βασιλευ̃σιν Ιουδα (Ⅲ)

- Reliqua autem sermonum Manasse, ut universa quæ fecit, et peccatum ejus quod peccavit, nonne hæc scripta sunt in libro sermonum dierum regum Juda ? (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 17 ׃21 ויתר דברי מנשה וכל אשר עשה וחטאתו אשר חטא הלא הם כתובים על ספר דברי הימים למלכי יהודה ‬ (Ⅴ)

21. 18

And Manasseh slept with his fathers, and was buried in the garden of his own house, in the garden of Uzza: and Amon his son reigned in his stead.

- Manassé se coucha avec ses pères, et il fut enterré dans le jardin de sa maison, dans le jardin d'Uzza. Et Amon, son fils, régna à sa place. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἐκοιμήθη Μανασσης μετὰ τω̃ν πατέρων αὐτου̃ καὶ ἐτάφη ἐν τω̨̃ κήπω̨ του̃ οἴκου αὐτου̃ ἐν κήπω̨ Οζα καὶ ἐβασίλευσεν Αμων υἱὸς αὐτου̃ ἀντ' αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ)

- Dormivitque Manasses cum patribus suis, et sepultus est in horto domus suæ, in horto Oza : et regnavit Amon filius ejus pro eo.\ (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 18 ׃21 וישכב מנשה עם אבתיו ויקבר בגן ביתו בגן עזא וימלך אמון בנו תחתיו פ‬ (Ⅴ)

21. 19

Amon was twenty and two years old when he began to reign, and he reigned two years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Meshullemeth, the daughter of Haruz of Jotbah.

- Amon avait vingt-deux ans lorsqu'il devint roi, et il régna deux ans à Jérusalem. Sa mère s'appelait Meschullémeth, fille de Haruts, de Jotba. (Ⅱ)

- υἱὸς εἴκοσι καὶ δύο ἐτω̃ν Αμων ἐν τω̨̃ βασιλεύειν αὐτὸν καὶ δύο ἔτη ἐβασίλευσεν ἐν Ιερουσαλημ καὶ ὄνομα τη̨̃ μητρὶ αὐτου̃ Μεσολλαμ θυγάτηρ Αρους ἐξ Ιετεβα (Ⅲ)

- Viginti duorum annorum erat Amon cum regnare cœpisset : duobus quoque annis regnavit in Jerusalem : nomen matris ejus Messalemeth filia Harus de Jeteba. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 19 ׃21 בן עשרים ושתים שנה אמון במלכו ושתים שנים מלך בירושלם ושם אמו משלמת בת חרוץ מן יטבה ‬ (Ⅴ)

21. 20

And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, as his father Manasseh did.

- Il fit ce qui est mal aux yeux de l'Éternel, comme avait fait Manassé, son père; (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἐποίησεν τὸ πονηρὸν ἐν ὀφθαλμοι̃ς κυρίου καθὼς ἐποίησεν Μανασσης ὁ πατὴρ αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ)

- Fecitque malum in conspectu Domini, sicut fecerat Manasses pater ejus. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 20 ׃21 ויעש הרע בעיני יהוה כאשר עשה מנשה אביו ‬ (Ⅴ)

21. 21

And he walked in all the way that his father walked in, and served the idols that his father served, and worshipped them:

- il marcha dans toute la voie où avait marché son père, il servit les idoles qu'avait servies son père, et il se prosterna devant elles; (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἐπορεύθη ἐν πάση̨ ὁδω̨̃ ἡ̨̃ ἐπορεύθη ὁ πατὴρ αὐτου̃ καὶ ἐλάτρευσεν τοι̃ς εἰδώλοις οἱ̃ς ἐλάτρευσεν ὁ πατὴρ αὐτου̃ καὶ προσεκύνησεν αὐτοι̃ς (Ⅲ)

- Et ambulavit in omni via per quam ambulaverat pater ejus, servivitque immunditiis quibus servierat pater ejus, et adoravit eas : (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 21 ׃21 וילך בכל הדרך אשר הלך אביו ויעבד את הגללים אשר עבד אביו וישתחו להם ‬ (Ⅴ)

21. 22

And he forsook the LORD God of his fathers, and walked not in the way of the LORD.

- il abandonna l'Éternel, le Dieu de ses pères, et il ne marcha point dans la voie de l'Éternel. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἐγκατέλιπεν τὸν κύριον θεὸν τω̃ν πατέρων αὐτου̃ καὶ οὐκ ἐπορεύθη ἐν ὁδω̨̃ κυρίου (Ⅲ)

- et dereliquit Dominum Deum patrum suorum, et non ambulavit in via Domini. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 22 ׃21 ויעזב את יהוה אלהי אבתיו ולא הלך בדרך יהוה ‬ (Ⅴ)

21. 23

And the servants of Amon conspired against him, and slew the king in his own house.

- Les serviteurs d'Amon conspirèrent contre lui, et firent mourir le roi dans sa maison. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ συνεστράφησαν οἱ παι̃δες Αμων πρὸς αὐτὸν καὶ ἐθανάτωσαν τὸν βασιλέα ἐν τω̨̃ οἴκω̨ αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ)

- Tetenderuntque ei insidias servi sui, et interfecerunt regem in domo sua. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 23 ׃21 ויקשרו עבדי אמון עליו וימיתו את המלך בביתו ‬ (Ⅴ)

21. 24

And the people of the land slew all them that had conspired against king Amon; and the people of the land made Josiah his son king in his stead.

- Mais le peuple du pays frappa tous ceux qui avaient conspiré contre le roi Amon; et le peuple du pays établit roi Josias, son fils, à sa place. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἐπάταξεν πα̃ς ὁ λαὸς τη̃ς γη̃ς πάντας τοὺς συστραφέντας ἐπὶ τὸν βασιλέα Αμων καὶ ἐβασίλευσεν ὁ λαὸς τη̃ς γη̃ς τὸν Ιωσιαν υἱὸν αὐτου̃ ἀντ' αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ)

- Percussit autem populus terræ omnes qui conjuraverant contra regem Amon, et constituerunt sibi regem Josiam filium ejus pro eo. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 24 ׃21 ויך עם הארץ את כל הקשרים על המלך אמון וימליכו עם הארץ את יאשיהו בנו תחתיו ‬ (Ⅴ)

21. 25

Now the rest of the acts of Amon which he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?

- Le reste des actions d'Amon, et ce qu'il a fait, cela n'est-il pas écrit dans le livre des Chroniques des rois de Juda? (Ⅱ)

- καὶ τὰ λοιπὰ τω̃ν λόγων Αμων ὅσα ἐποίησεν οὐκ ἰδοὺ ταυ̃τα γεγραμμένα ἐπὶ βιβλίω̨ λόγων τω̃ν ἡμερω̃ν τοι̃ς βασιλευ̃σιν Ιουδα (Ⅲ)

- Reliqua autem sermonum Amon quæ fecit, nonne hæc scripta sunt in libro sermonum dierum regum Juda ? (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 25 ׃21 ויתר דברי אמון אשר עשה הלא הם כתובים על ספר דברי הימים למלכי יהודה ‬ (Ⅴ)

21. 26

And he was buried in his sepulchre in the garden of Uzza: and Josiah his son reigned in his stead.

- On l'enterra dans son sépulcre, dans le jardin d'Uzza. Et Josias, son fils, régna à sa place. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἔθαψαν αὐτὸν ἐν τω̨̃ τάφω̨ αὐτου̃ ἐν τω̨̃ κήπω̨ Οζα καὶ ἐβασίλευσεν Ιωσιας υἱὸς αὐτου̃ ἀντ' αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ)

- Sepelieruntque eum in sepulchro suo, in horto Oza : et regnavit Josias filius ejus pro eo. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 26 ׃21 ויקבר‪[1]‬ אתו בקברתו בגן עזא וימלך יאשיהו בנו תחתיו פ‬ (Ⅴ)
