23. 1  
And the king sent, and they gathered unto him all the elders of Judah and of Jerusalem.
- Le roi Josias fit assembler auprès de lui tous les anciens de Juda et de Jérusalem. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ ἀπέστειλεν ὁ βασιλεὺς καὶ συνήγαγεν πρὸς ἑαυτὸν πάντας τοὺς πρεσβυτέρους Ιουδα καὶ Ιερουσαλημ (Ⅲ)
- Et renuntiaverunt regi quod dixerat. Qui misit : et congregati sunt ad eum omnes senes Juda et Jerusalem. (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 1  ׃23  וישלח המלך ויאספו אליו כל זקני יהודה וירושלם ‬ (Ⅴ)
23. 2  
And the king went up into the house of the LORD, and all the men of Judah and all the inhabitants of Jerusalem with him, and the priests, and the prophets, and all the people, both small and great: and he read in their ears all the words of the book of the covenant which was found in the house of the LORD.
- Puis il monta à la maison de l'Éternel, avec tous les hommes de Juda et tous les habitants de Jérusalem, les sacrificateurs, les prophètes, et tout le peuple, depuis le plus petit jusqu'au plus grand. Il lut devant eux toutes les paroles du livre de l'alliance, qu'on avait trouvé dans la maison de l'Éternel. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ ἀνέβη ὁ βασιλεὺς εἰς οἰ̃κον κυρίου καὶ πα̃ς ἀνὴρ Ιουδα καὶ πάντες οἱ κατοικου̃ντες ἐν Ιερουσαλημ μετ' αὐτου̃ καὶ οἱ ἱερει̃ς καὶ οἱ προφη̃ται καὶ πα̃ς ὁ λαὸς ἀπὸ μικρου̃ καὶ ἕως μεγάλου καὶ ἀνέγνω ἐν ὠσὶν αὐτω̃ν πάντας τοὺς λόγους του̃ βιβλίου τη̃ς διαθήκης του̃ εὑρεθέντος ἐν οἴκω̨ κυρίου (Ⅲ)
- Ascenditque rex templum Domini, et omnes viri Juda, universique qui habitabant in Jerusalem cum eo sacerdotes et prophetæ, et omnis populus a parvo usque ad magnum : legitque, cunctis audientibus, omnia verba libri fœderis, qui inventus est in domo Domini. (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 2  ׃23  ויעל המלך בית יהוה וכל איש יהודה וכל ישבי ירושלם אתו והכהנים והנביאים וכל העם למקטן ועד גדול ויקרא באזניהם את כל דברי ספר הברית הנמצא בבית יהוה ‬ (Ⅴ)
23. 3  
And the king stood by a pillar, and made a covenant before the LORD, to walk after the LORD, and to keep his commandments and his testimonies and his statutes with all their heart and all their soul, to perform the words of this covenant that were written in this book. And all the people stood to the covenant.
- Le roi se tenait sur l'estrade, et il traita alliance devant l'Éternel, s'engageant à suivre l'Éternel, et à observer ses ordonnances, ses préceptes et ses lois, de tout son coeur et de toute son âme, afin de mettre en pratique les paroles de cette alliance, écrites dans ce livre. Et tout le peuple entra dans l'alliance. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ ἔστη ὁ βασιλεὺς πρὸς τὸν στυ̃λον καὶ διέθετο διαθήκην ἐνώπιον κυρίου του̃ πορεύεσθαι ὀπίσω κυρίου καὶ του̃ φυλάσσειν τὰς ἐντολὰς αὐτου̃ καὶ τὰ μαρτύρια αὐτου̃ καὶ τὰ δικαιώματα αὐτου̃ ἐν πάση̨ καρδία̨ καὶ ἐν πάση̨ ψυχη̨̃ του̃ ἀναστη̃σαι τοὺς λόγους τη̃ς διαθήκης ταύτης τὰ γεγραμμένα ἐπὶ τὸ βιβλίον του̃το καὶ ἔστη πα̃ς ὁ λαὸς ἐν τη̨̃ διαθήκη̨ (Ⅲ)
- Stetitque rex super gradum : et fœdus percussit coram Domino, ut ambularent post Dominum, et custodirent præcepta ejus, et testimonia, et cæremonias in omni corde, et in tota anima, et suscitarent verba fœderis hujus, quæ scripta erant in libro illo : acquievitque populus pacto. (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 3  ׃23  ויעמד המלך על העמוד ויכרת את הברית לפני יהוה ללכת אחר יהוה ולשמר מצותיו ואת עדותיו ואת חקתיו בכל לב ובכל נפש להקים את דברי הברית הזאת הכתבים על הספר הזה ויעמד כל העם בברית ‬ (Ⅴ)
23. 4  
And the king commanded Hilkiah the high priest, and the priests of the second order, and the keepers of the door, to bring forth out of the temple of the LORD all the vessels that were made for Baal, and for the grove, and for all the host of heaven: and he burned them without Jerusalem in the fields of Kidron, and carried the ashes of them unto Bethel.
- Le roi ordonna à Hilkija, le souverain sacrificateur, aux sacrificateurs du second ordre, et à ceux qui gardaient le seuil, de sortir du temple de l'Éternel tous les ustensiles qui avaient été faits pour Baal, pour Astarté, et pour toute l'armée des cieux; et il les brûla hors de Jérusalem, dans les champs du Cédron, et en fit porter la poussière à Béthel. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ ἐνετείλατο ὁ βασιλεὺς τω̨̃ Χελκια τω̨̃ ἱερει̃ τω̨̃ μεγάλω̨ καὶ τοι̃ς ἱερευ̃σιν τη̃ς δευτερώσεως καὶ τοι̃ς φυλάσσουσιν τὸν σταθμὸν του̃ ἐξαγαγει̃ν ἐκ του̃ ναου̃ κυρίου πάντα τὰ σκεύη τὰ πεποιημένα τω̨̃ Βααλ καὶ τω̨̃ ἄλσει καὶ πάση̨ τη̨̃ δυνάμει του̃ οὐρανου̃ καὶ κατέκαυσεν αὐτὰ ἔξω Ιερουσαλημ ἐν σαδημωθ Κεδρων καὶ ἔλαβεν τὸν χου̃ν αὐτω̃ν εἰς Βαιθηλ (Ⅲ)
- Et præcepit rex Helciæ pontifici, et sacerdotibus secundi ordinis, et janitoribus, ut projicerent de templo Domini omnia vasa quæ facta fuerant Baal, et in luco, et universæ militiæ cæli : et combussit ea foris Jerusalem in convalle Cedron, et tulit pulverem eorum in Bethel. (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 4  ׃23  ויצו המלך את חלקיהו הכהן הגדול ואת כהני המשנה ואת שמרי הסף להוציא מהיכל יהוה את כל הכלים העשוים לבעל ולאשרה ולכל צבא השמים וישרפם מחוץ לירושלם בשדמות קדרון ונשא את עפרם בית אל ‬ (Ⅴ)
23. 5  
And he put down the idolatrous priests, whom the kings of Judah had ordained to burn incense in the high places in the cities of Judah, and in the places round about Jerusalem; them also that burned incense unto Baal, to the sun, and to the moon, and to the planets, and to all the host of heaven.
- Il chassa les prêtres des idoles, établis par les rois de Juda pour brûler des parfums sur les hauts lieux dans les villes de Juda et aux environs de Jérusalem, et ceux qui offraient des parfums à Baal, au soleil, à la lune, au zodiaque et à toute l'armée des cieux. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ κατέπαυσεν τοὺς χωμαριμ οὓς ἔδωκαν βασιλει̃ς Ιουδα καὶ ἐθυμίων ἐν τοι̃ς ὑψηλοι̃ς καὶ ἐν ται̃ς πόλεσιν Ιουδα καὶ τοι̃ς περικύκλω̨ Ιερουσαλημ καὶ τοὺς θυμιω̃ντας τω̨̃ Βααλ καὶ τω̨̃ ἡλίω̨ καὶ τη̨̃ σελήνη̨ καὶ τοι̃ς μαζουρωθ καὶ πάση̨ τη̨̃ δυνάμει του̃ οὐρανου̃ (Ⅲ)
- Et delevit aruspices quos posuerant reges Juda ad sacrificandum in excelsis per civitates Juda, et in circuitu Jerusalem : et eos qui adolebant incensum Baal, et soli, et lunæ, et duodecim signis, et omni militiæ cæli. (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 5  ׃23  והשבית את הכמרים אשר נתנו מלכי יהודה ויקטר בבמות בערי יהודה ומסבי ירושלם ואת המקטרים לבעל לשמש ולירח ולמזלות ולכל צבא השמים ‬ (Ⅴ)
23. 6  
And he brought out the grove from the house of the LORD, without Jerusalem, unto the brook Kidron, and burned it at the brook Kidron, and stamped it small to powder, and cast the powder thereof upon the graves of the children of the people.
- Il sortit de la maison de l'Éternel l'idole d'Astarté, qu'il transporta hors de Jérusalem vers le torrent de Cédron; il la brûla au torrent de Cédron et la réduisit en poussière, et il en jeta la poussière sur les sépulcres des enfants du peuple. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ ἐξήνεγκεν τὸ ἄλσος ἐξ οἴκου κυρίου ἔξωθεν Ιερουσαλημ εἰς τὸν χειμάρρουν Κεδρων καὶ κατέκαυσεν αὐτὸν ἐν τω̨̃ χειμάρρω̨ Κεδρων καὶ ἐλέπτυνεν εἰς χου̃ν καὶ ἔρριψεν τὸν χου̃ν αὐτου̃ εἰς τὸν τάφον τω̃ν υἱω̃ν του̃ λαου̃ (Ⅲ)
- Et efferri fecit lucum de domo Domini foras Jerusalem in convalle Cedron, et combussit eum ibi, et redegit in pulverem, et projecit super sepulchra vulgi. (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 6  ׃23  ויצא את האשרה מבית יהוה מחוץ לירושלם אל נחל קדרון וישרף אתה בנחל קדרון וידק לעפר וישלך את עפרה על קבר בני העם ‬ (Ⅴ)
23. 7  
And he brake down the houses of the sodomites, that were by the house of the LORD, where the women wove hangings for the grove.
- Il abattit les maisons des prostitués qui étaient dans la maison de l'Éternel, et où les femmes tissaient des tentes pour Astarté. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ καθει̃λεν τὸν οἰ̃κον τω̃ν καδησιμ τω̃ν ἐν τω̨̃ οἴκω̨ κυρίου οὑ̃ αἱ γυναι̃κες ὕφαινον ἐκει̃ χεττιιν τω̨̃ ἄλσει (Ⅲ)
- Destruxit quoque ædiculas effeminatorum quæ erant in domo Domini, pro quibus mulieres texebant quasi domunculas luci. (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 7  ׃23  ויתץ את בתי הקדשים אשר בבית יהוה אשר הנשים ארגות שם בתים לאשרה ‬ (Ⅴ)
23. 8  
And he brought all the priests out of the cities of Judah, and defiled the high places where the priests had burned incense, from Geba to Beersheba, and brake down the high places of the gates that were in the entering in of the gate of Joshua the governor of the city, which were on a man's left hand at the gate of the city.
- Il fit venir tous les prêtres des villes de Juda; il souilla les hauts lieux où les prêtres brûlaient des parfums, depuis Guéba jusqu'à Beer Schéba; et il renversa les hauts lieux des portes, celui qui était à l'entrée de la porte de Josué, chef de la ville, et celui qui était à gauche de la porte de la ville. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ ἀνήγαγεν πάντας τοὺς ἱερει̃ς ἐκ πόλεων Ιουδα καὶ ἐμίανεν τὰ ὑψηλά οὑ̃ ἐθυμίασαν ἐκει̃ οἱ ἱερει̃ς ἀπὸ Γαβαα καὶ ἕως Βηρσαβεε καὶ καθει̃λεν τὸν οἰ̃κον τω̃ν πυλω̃ν τὸν παρὰ τὴν θύραν τη̃ς πύλης Ιησου ἄρχοντος τη̃ς πόλεως τω̃ν ἐξ ἀριστερω̃ν ἀνδρὸς ἐν τη̨̃ πύλη̨ τη̃ς πόλεως (Ⅲ)
- Congregavitque omnes sacerdotes de civitatibus Juda, et contaminavit excelsa ubi sacrificabant sacerdotes de Gabaa usque Bersabee, et destruxit aras portarum in introitu ostii Josue principis civitatis, quod erat ad sinistram portæ civitatis. (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 8  ׃23  ויבא את כל הכהנים מערי יהודה ויטמא את הבמות אשר קטרו שמה הכהנים מגבע עד באר שבע ונתץ את במות השערים אשר פתח שער יהושע שר העיר אשר על שמאול איש בשער העיר ‬ (Ⅴ)
23. 9  
Nevertheless the priests of the high places came not up to the altar of the LORD in Jerusalem, but they did eat of the unleavened bread among their brethren.
- Toutefois les prêtres des hauts lieux ne montaient pas à l'autel de l'Éternel à Jérusalem, mais ils mangeaient des pains sans levain au milieu de leurs frères. (Ⅱ)
- πλὴν οὐκ ἀνέβησαν οἱ ἱερει̃ς τω̃ν ὑψηλω̃ν πρὸς τὸ θυσιαστήριον κυρίου ἐν Ιερουσαλημ ὅτι εἰ μὴ ἔφαγον ἄζυμα ἐν μέσω̨ τω̃ν ἀδελφω̃ν αὐτω̃ν (Ⅲ)
- Verumtamen non ascendebant sacerdotes excelsorum ad altare Domini in Jerusalem : sed tantum comedebant azyma in medio fratrum suorum. (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 9  ׃23  אך לא יעלו כהני הבמות אל מזבח יהוה בירושלם כי אם אכלו מצות בתוך אחיהם ‬ (Ⅴ)
23. 10  
And he defiled Topheth, which is in the valley of the children of Hinnom, that no man might make his son or his daughter to pass through the fire to Molech.
- Le roi souilla Topheth dans la vallée des fils de Hinnom, afin que personne ne fît plus passer son fils ou sa fille par le feu en l'honneur de Moloc. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ ἐμίανεν τὸν Ταφεθ τὸν ἐν φάραγγι υἱου̃ Εννομ του̃ διάγειν ἄνδρα τὸν υἱὸν αὐτου̃ καὶ ἄνδρα τὴν θυγατέρα αὐτου̃ τω̨̃ Μολοχ ἐν πυρί (Ⅲ)
- Contaminavit quoque Topheth, quod est in convalle filii Ennom, ut nemo consecraret filium suum aut filiam per ignem, Moloch. (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 10 ׃23  וטמא את התפת אשר בגי *בני **בן הנם לבלתי להעביר איש את בנו ואת בתו באש למלך ‬ (Ⅴ)
23. 11  
And he took away the horses that the kings of Judah had given to the sun, at the entering in of the house of the LORD, by the chamber of Nathanmelech the chamberlain, which was in the suburbs, and burned the chariots of the sun with fire.
- Il fit disparaître de l'entrée de la maison de l'Éternel les chevaux que les rois de Juda avaient consacrés au soleil, près de la chambre de l'eunuque Nethan Mélec, qui demeurait dans le faubourg; et il brûla au feu les chars du soleil. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ κατέπαυσεν τοὺς ἵππους οὓς ἔδωκαν βασιλει̃ς Ιουδα τω̨̃ ἡλίω̨ ἐν τη̨̃ εἰσόδω̨ οἴκου κυρίου εἰς τὸ γαζοφυλάκιον Ναθαν βασιλέως του̃ εὐνούχου ἐν φαρουριμ καὶ τὸ ἅρμα του̃ ἡλίου κατέκαυσεν πυρί (Ⅲ)
- Abstulit quoque equos quos dederant reges Juda soli in introitu templi Domini juxta exedram Nathanmelech eunuchi, qui erat in Pharurim : currus autem solis combussit igni. (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 11 ׃23  וישבת את הסוסים אשר נתנו מלכי יהודה לשמש מבא בית יהוה אל לשכת נתן מלך הסריס אשר בפרורים ואת מרכבות השמש שרף באש ‬ (Ⅴ)
23. 12  
And the altars that were on the top of the upper chamber of Ahaz, which the kings of Judah had made, and the altars which Manasseh had made in the two courts of the house of the LORD, did the king beat down, and brake them down from thence, and cast the dust of them into the brook Kidron.
- Le roi démolit les autels qui étaient sur le toit de la chambre haute d'Achaz et que les rois de Juda avaient faits, et les autels qu'avait faits Manassé dans les deux parvis de la maison de l'Éternel; après les avoir brisés et enlevés de là, il en jeta la poussière dans le torrent de Cédron. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ τὰ θυσιαστήρια τὰ ἐπὶ του̃ δώματος του̃ ὑπερώ̨ου Αχαζ ἃ ἐποίησαν βασιλει̃ς Ιουδα καὶ τὰ θυσιαστήρια ἃ ἐποίησεν Μανασσης ἐν ται̃ς δυσὶν αὐλαι̃ς οἴκου κυρίου καὶ καθει̃λεν ὁ βασιλεὺς καὶ κατέσπασεν ἐκει̃θεν καὶ ἔρριψεν τὸν χου̃ν αὐτω̃ν εἰς τὸν χειμάρρουν Κεδρων (Ⅲ)
- Altaria quoque quæ erant super tecta cœnaculi Achaz, quæ fecerant reges Juda, et altaria quæ fecerat Manasses in duobus atriis templi Domini, destruxit rex, et cucurrit inde, et dispersit cinerem eorum in torrentem Cedron. (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 12 ׃23  ואת המזבחות אשר על הגג עלית אחז אשר עשו מלכי יהודה ואת המזבחות אשר עשה מנשה בשתי חצרות בית יהוה נתץ המלך וירץ משם והשליך את עפרם אל נחל קדרון ‬ (Ⅴ)
23. 13  
And the high places that were before Jerusalem, which were on the right hand of the mount of corruption, which Solomon the king of Israel had builded for Ashtoreth the abomination of the Zidonians, and for Chemosh the abomination of the Moabites, and for Milcom the abomination of the children of Ammon, did the king defile.
- Le roi souilla les hauts lieux qui étaient en face de Jérusalem, sur la droite de la montagne de perdition, et que Salomon, roi d'Israël, avait bâtis à Astarté, l'abomination des Sidoniens, à Kemosch, l'abomination de Moab, et à Milcom, l'abomination des fils d'Ammon. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ τὸν οἰ̃κον τὸν ἐπὶ πρόσωπον Ιερουσαλημ τὸν ἐκ δεξιω̃ν του̃ ὄρους του̃ Μοσοαθ ὃν ὠ̨κοδόμησεν Σαλωμων βασιλεὺς Ισραηλ τη̨̃ 'Αστάρτη̨ προσοχθίσματι Σιδωνίων καὶ τω̨̃ Χαμως προσοχθίσματι Μωαβ καὶ τω̨̃ Μολχολ βδελύγματι υἱω̃ν Αμμων ἐμίανεν ὁ βασιλεύς (Ⅲ)
- Excelsa quoque, quæ erant in Jerusalem ad dexteram partem montis offensionis, quæ ædificaverat Salomon rex Israël Astaroth idolo Sidoniorum, et Chamos offensioni Moab, et Melchom abominationi filiorum Ammon, polluit rex. (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 13 ׃23  ואת הבמות אשר על פני ירושלם אשר מימין להר המשחית אשר בנה שלמה מלך ישראל לעשתרת שקץ צידנים ולכמוש שקץ מואב ולמלכם תועבת בני עמון טמא המלך ‬ (Ⅴ)
23. 14  
And he brake in pieces the images, and cut down the groves, and filled their places with the bones of men.
- Il brisa les statues et abattit les idoles, et il remplit d'ossements d'hommes la place qu'elles occupaient. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ συνέτριψεν τὰς στήλας καὶ ἐξωλέθρευσεν τὰ ἄλση καὶ ἔπλησεν τοὺς τόπους αὐτω̃ν ὀστέων ἀνθρώπων (Ⅲ)
- Et contrivit statuas, et succidit lucos : replevitque loca eorum ossibus mortuorum. (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 14 ׃23  ושבר את המצבות ויכרת את האשרים וימלא את מקומם עצמות אדם ‬ (Ⅴ)
23. 15  
Moreover the altar that was at Bethel, and the high place which Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin, had made, both that altar and the high place he brake down, and burned the high place, and stamped it small to powder, and burned the grove.
- Il renversa aussi l'autel qui était à Béthel, et le haut lieu qu'avait fait Jéroboam, fils de Nebath, qui avait fait pécher Israël; il brûla le haut lieu et le réduisit en poussière, et il brûla l'idole. (Ⅱ)
- καί γε τὸ θυσιαστήριον τὸ ἐν Βαιθηλ τὸ ὑψηλόν ὃ ἐποίησεν Ιεροβοαμ υἱὸς Ναβατ ὃς ἐξήμαρτεν τὸν Ισραηλ καί γε τὸ θυσιαστήριον ἐκει̃νο καὶ τὸ ὑψηλὸν κατέσπασεν καὶ συνέτριψεν τοὺς λίθους αὐτου̃ καὶ ἐλέπτυνεν εἰς χου̃ν καὶ κατέκαυσεν τὸ ἄλσος (Ⅲ)
- Insuper et altare quod erat in Bethel, et excelsum quod fecerat Jeroboam filius Nabat, qui peccare fecit Israël : et altare illud, et excelsum destruxit, atque combussit, et comminuit in pulverem, succenditque etiam lucum. (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 15 ׃23  וגם את המזבח אשר בבית אל הבמה אשר עשה ירבעם בן נבט אשר החטיא את ישראל גם את המזבח ההוא ואת הבמה נתץ וישרף את הבמה הדק לעפר ושרף אשרה ‬ (Ⅴ)
23. 16  
And as Josiah turned himself, he spied the sepulchres that were there in the mount, and sent, and took the bones out of the sepulchres, and burned them upon the altar, and polluted it, according to the word of the LORD which the man of God proclaimed, who proclaimed these words.
- Josias, s'étant tourné et ayant vu les sépulcres qui étaient là dans la montagne, envoya prendre les ossements des sépulcres, et il les brûla sur l'autel et le souilla, selon la parole de l'Éternel prononcée par l'homme de Dieu qui avait annoncé ces choses. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ ἐξένευσεν Ιωσιας καὶ εἰ̃δεν τοὺς τάφους τοὺς ὄντας ἐκει̃ ἐν τη̨̃ πόλει καὶ ἀπέστειλεν καὶ ἔλαβεν τὰ ὀστα̃ ἐκ τω̃ν τάφων καὶ κατέκαυσεν ἐπὶ τὸ θυσιαστήριον καὶ ἐμίανεν αὐτὸ κατὰ τὸ ῥη̃μα κυρίου ὃ ἐλάλησεν ὁ ἄνθρωπος του̃ θεου̃ ἐν τω̨̃ ἑστάναι Ιεροβοαμ ἐν τη̨̃ ἑορτη̨̃ ἐπὶ τὸ θυσιαστήριον καὶ ἐπιστρέψας ἠ̃ρεν τοὺς ὀφθαλμοὺς αὐτου̃ ἐπὶ τὸν τάφον του̃ ἀνθρώπου του̃ θεου̃ του̃ λαλήσαντος τοὺς λόγους τούτους (Ⅲ)
- Et conversus Josias, vidit ibi sepulchra quæ erant in monte : misitque et tulit ossa de sepulchris, et combussit ea super altare, et polluit illud juxta verbum Domini quod locutus est vir Dei, qui prædixerat verba hæc. (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 16 ׃23  ויפן יאשיהו וירא את הקברים אשר שם בהר וישלח ויקח את העצמות מן הקברים וישרף על המזבח ויטמאהו כדבר יהוה אשר קרא איש האלהים אשר קרא את הדברים האלה ‬ (Ⅴ)
23. 17  
Then he said, What title is that that I see? And the men of the city told him, It is the sepulchre of the man of God, which came from Judah, and proclaimed these things that thou hast done against the altar of Bethel.
- Il dit: Quel est ce monument que je vois? Les gens de la ville lui répondirent: C'est le sépulcre de l'homme de Dieu, qui est venu de Juda, et qui a crié contre l'autel de Béthel ces choses que tu as accomplies. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ εἰ̃πεν τί τὸ σκόπελον ἐκει̃νο ὃ ἐγὼ ὁρω̃ καὶ εἰ̃πον αὐτω̨̃ οἱ ἄνδρες τη̃ς πόλεως ὁ ἄνθρωπος του̃ θεου̃ ἐστιν ὁ ἐξεληλυθὼς ἐξ Ιουδα καὶ ἐπικαλεσάμενος τοὺς λόγους τούτους οὓς ἐπεκαλέσατο ἐπὶ τὸ θυσιαστήριον Βαιθηλ (Ⅲ)
- Et ait : Quis est titulus ille, quem video ? Responderuntque ei cives urbis illius : Sepulchrum est hominis Dei, qui venit de Juda, et prædixit verba hæc, quæ fecisti super altare Bethel. (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 17 ׃23  ויאמר מה הציון הלז אשר אני ראה ויאמרו אליו אנשי העיר הקבר איש האלהים אשר בא מיהודה ויקרא את הדברים האלה אשר עשית על המזבח בית אל ‬ (Ⅴ)
23. 18  
And he said, Let him alone; let no man move his bones. So they let his bones alone, with the bones of the prophet that came out of Samaria.
- Et il dit: Laissez-le; que personne ne remue ses os! On conserva ainsi ses os avec les os du prophète qui était venu de Samarie. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ εἰ̃πεν ἄφετε αὐτό ἀνὴρ μὴ κινησάτω τὰ ὀστα̃ αὐτου̃ καὶ ἐρρύσθησαν τὰ ὀστα̃ αὐτου̃ μετὰ τω̃ν ὀστω̃ν του̃ προφήτου του̃ ἥκοντος ἐκ Σαμαρείας (Ⅲ)
- Et ait : Dimitte eum : nemo commoveat ossa ejus. Et intacta manserunt ossa illius cum ossibus prophetæ qui venerat de Samaria. (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 18 ׃23  ויאמר הניחו לו איש אל ינע עצמתיו וימלטו עצמתיו את עצמות הנביא אשר בא משמרון ‬ (Ⅴ)
23. 19  
And all the houses also of the high places that were in the cities of Samaria, which the kings of Israel had made to provoke the Lord to anger, Josiah took away, and did to them according to all the acts that he had done in Bethel.
- Josias fit encore disparaître toutes les maisons des hauts lieux, qui étaient dans les villes de Samarie, et qu'avaient faites les rois d'Israël pour irriter l'Éternel; il fit à leur égard entièrement comme il avait fait à Béthel. (Ⅱ)
- καί γε εἰς πάντας τοὺς οἴκους τω̃ν ὑψηλω̃ν τοὺς ἐν ται̃ς πόλεσιν Σαμαρείας οὓς ἐποίησαν βασιλει̃ς Ισραηλ παροργίζειν κύριον ἀπέστησεν Ιωσιας καὶ ἐποίησεν ἐν αὐτοι̃ς πάντα τὰ ἔργα ἃ ἐποίησεν ἐν Βαιθηλ (Ⅲ)
- Insuper et omnia fana excelsorum quæ erant in civitatibus Samariæ, quæ fecerant reges Israël ad irritandum Dominum, abstulit Josias : et fecit eis secundum omnia opera quæ fecerat in Bethel. (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 19 ׃23  וגם את כל בתי הבמות אשר בערי שמרון אשר עשו מלכי ישראל להכעיס הסיר יאשיהו ויעש להם ככל המעשים אשר עשה בבית אל ‬ (Ⅴ)
23. 20  
And he slew all the priests of the high places that were there upon the altars, and burned men's bones upon them, and returned to Jerusalem.
- Il immola sur les autels tous les prêtres des hauts lieux, qui étaient là, et il y brûla des ossements d'hommes. Puis il retourna à Jérusalem. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ ἐθυσίασεν πάντας τοὺς ἱερει̃ς τω̃ν ὑψηλω̃ν τοὺς ὄντας ἐκει̃ ἐπὶ τω̃ν θυσιαστηρίων καὶ κατέκαυσεν τὰ ὀστα̃ τω̃ν ἀνθρώπων ἐπ' αὐτά καὶ ἐπεστράφη εἰς Ιερουσαλημ (Ⅲ)
- Et occidit universos sacerdotes excelsorum qui erant ibi super altaria, et combussit ossa humana super ea : reversusque est Jerusalem. (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 20 ׃23  ויזבח את כל כהני הבמות אשר שם על המזבחות וישרף את עצמות אדם עליהם וישב ירושלם ‬ (Ⅴ)
23. 21  
And the king commanded all the people, saying, Keep the passover unto the LORD your God, as it is written in the book of this covenant.
- Le roi donna cet ordre à tout le peuple: Célébrez la Pâque en l'honneur de l'Éternel, votre Dieu, comme il est écrit dans ce livre de l'alliance. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ ἐνετείλατο ὁ βασιλεὺς παντὶ τω̨̃ λαω̨̃ λέγων ποιήσατε τὸ πασχα τω̨̃ κυρίω̨ θεω̨̃ ἡμω̃ν καθὼς γέγραπται ἐπὶ βιβλίου τη̃ς διαθήκης ταύτης (Ⅲ)
- Et præcepit omni populo, dicens : Facite Phase Domino Deo vestro, secundum quod scriptum est in libro fœderis hujus. (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 21 ׃23  ויצו המלך את כל העם לאמר עשו פסח ליהוה אלהיכם ככתוב על ספר הברית הזה ‬ (Ⅴ)
23. 22  
Surely there was not holden such a passover from the days of the judges that judged Israel, nor in all the days of the kings of Israel, nor of the kings of Judah;
- Aucune Pâque pareille à celle-ci n'avait été célébrée depuis le temps où les juges jugeaient Israël et pendant tous les jours des rois d'Israël et des rois de Juda. (Ⅱ)
- ὅτι οὐκ ἐγενήθη τὸ πασχα του̃το ἀφ' ἡμερω̃ν τω̃ν κριτω̃ν οἳ ἔκρινον τὸν Ισραηλ καὶ πάσας τὰς ἡμέρας βασιλέων Ισραηλ καὶ βασιλέων Ιουδα (Ⅲ)
- Nec enim factum est Phase tale a diebus judicum qui judicaverunt Israël, et omnium dierum regum Israël et regum Juda, (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 22 ׃23  כי לא נעשה כפסח הזה מימי השפטים אשר שפטו את ישראל וכל ימי מלכי ישראל ומלכי יהודה ‬ (Ⅴ)
23. 23  
But in the eighteenth year of king Josiah, wherein this passover was holden to the LORD in Jerusalem.
- Ce fut la dix-huitième année du roi Josias qu'on célébra cette Pâque en l'honneur de l'Éternel à Jérusalem. (Ⅱ)
- ὅτι ἀλλ' ἢ τω̨̃ ὀκτωκαιδεκάτω̨ ἔτει του̃ βασιλέως Ιωσια ἐγενήθη τὸ πασχα τω̨̃ κυρίω̨ ἐν Ιερουσαλημ (Ⅲ)
- sicut in octavodecimo anno regis Josiæ factum est Phase istud Domino in Jerusalem. (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 23 ׃23  כי אם בשמנה עשרה שנה למלך יאשיהו נעשה הפסח הזה ליהוה בירושלם ‬ (Ⅴ)
23. 24  
Moreover the workers with familiar spirits, and the wizards, and the images, and the idols, and all the abominations that were spied in the land of Judah and in Jerusalem, did Josiah put away, that he might perform the words of the law which were written in the book that Hilkiah the priest found in the house of the LORD.
- De plus, Josias fit disparaître ceux qui évoquaient les esprits et ceux qui prédisaient l'avenir, et les théraphim, et les idoles, et toutes les abominations qui se voyaient dans le pays de Juda et à Jérusalem, afin de mettre en pratique les paroles de la loi, écrites dans le livre que le sacrificateur Hilkija avait trouvé dans la maison de l'Éternel. (Ⅱ)
- καί γε τοὺς θελητὰς καὶ τοὺς γνωριστὰς καὶ τὰ θεραφιν καὶ τὰ εἴδωλα καὶ πάντα τὰ προσοχθίσματα τὰ γεγονότα ἐν γη̨̃ Ιουδα καὶ ἐν Ιερουσαλημ ἐξη̃ρεν ὁ βασιλεὺς Ιωσιας ἵνα στήση̨ τοὺς λόγους του̃ νόμου τοὺς γεγραμμένους ἐπὶ του̃ βιβλίου οὑ̃ εὑ̃ρεν Χελκιας ὁ ἱερεὺς ἐν οἴκω̨ κυρίου (Ⅲ)
- Sed et pythones, et ariolos, et figuras idolorum, et immunditias, et abominationes, quæ fuerant in terra Juda et Jerusalem, abstulit Josias : ut statueret verba legis quæ scripta sunt in libro quem invenit Helcias sacerdos in templo Domini. (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 24 ׃23  וגם את האבות ואת הידענים ואת התרפים ואת הגללים ואת כל השקצים אשר נראו בארץ יהודה ובירושלם בער יאשיהו למען הקים את דברי התורה הכתבים על הספר אשר מצא חלקיהו הכהן בית יהוה ‬ (Ⅴ)
23. 25  
And like unto him was there no king before him, that turned to the LORD with all his heart, and with all his soul, and with all his might, according to all the law of Moses; neither after him arose there any like him.
- Avant Josias, il n'y eut point de roi qui, comme lui, revînt à l'Éternel de tout son coeur, de toute son âme et de toute sa force, selon toute la loi de Moïse; et après lui, il n'en a point paru de semblable. (Ⅱ)
- ὅμοιος αὐτω̨̃ οὐκ ἐγενήθη ἔμπροσθεν αὐτου̃ βασιλεύς ὃς ἐπέστρεψεν πρὸς κύριον ἐν ὅλη̨ καρδία̨ αὐτου̃ καὶ ἐν ὅλη̨ ψυχη̨̃ αὐτου̃ καὶ ἐν ὅλη̨ ἰσχύι αὐτου̃ κατὰ πάντα τὸν νόμον Μωυση̃ καὶ μετ' αὐτὸν οὐκ ἀνέστη ὅμοιος αὐτω̨̃ (Ⅲ)
- Similis illi non fuit ante eum rex, qui reverteretur ad Dominum in omni corde suo, et in tota anima sua, et in universa virtute sua juxta omnem legem Moysi : neque post eum surrexit similis illi. (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 25 ׃23  וכמהו לא היה לפניו מלך אשר שב אל יהוה בכל לבבו ובכל נפשו ובכל מאדו ככל תורת משה ואחריו לא קם כמהו ‬ (Ⅴ)
23. 26  
Notwithstanding the LORD turned not from the fierceness of his great wrath, wherewith his anger was kindled against Judah, because of all the provocations that Manasseh had provoked him withal.
- Toutefois l'Éternel ne se désista point de l'ardeur de sa grande colère dont il était enflammé contre Juda, à cause de tout ce qu'avait fait Manassé pour l'irriter. (Ⅱ)
- πλὴν οὐκ ἀπεστράφη κύριος ἀπὸ θυμου̃ ὀργη̃ς αὐτου̃ του̃ μεγάλου οὑ̃ ἐθυμώθη ὀργὴ αὐτου̃ ἐν τω̨̃ Ιουδα ἐπὶ τοὺς παροργισμούς οὓς παρώργισεν αὐτὸν Μανασσης (Ⅲ)
- Verumtamen non est aversus Dominus ab ira furoris sui magni quo iratus est furor ejus contra Judam propter irritationes quibus provocaverat eum Manasses. (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 26 ׃23  אך לא שב יהוה מחרון אפו הגדול אשר חרה אפו ביהודה על כל הכעסים אשר הכעיסו מנשה ‬ (Ⅴ)
23. 27  
And the LORD said, I will remove Judah also out of my sight, as I have removed Israel, and will cast off this city Jerusalem which I have chosen, and the house of which I said, My name shall be there.
- Et l'Éternel dit: J'ôterai aussi Juda de devant ma face comme j'ai ôté Israël, et je rejetterai cette ville de Jérusalem que j'avais choisie, et la maison de laquelle j'avais dit: Là sera mon nom. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ εἰ̃πεν κύριος καί γε τὸν Ιουδαν ἀποστήσω ἀπὸ του̃ προσώπου μου καθὼς ἀπέστησα τὸν Ισραηλ καὶ ἀπώσομαι τὴν πόλιν ταύτην ἣν ἐξελεξάμην τὴν Ιερουσαλημ καὶ τὸν οἰ̃κον οὑ̃ εἰ̃πον ἔσται τὸ ὄνομά μου ἐκει̃ (Ⅲ)
- Dixit itaque Dominus : Etiam Judam auferam a facie mea, sicut abstuli Israël : et projiciam civitatem hanc quam elegi Jerusalem, et domum de qua dixi : Erit nomen meum ibi.\ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 27 ׃23  ויאמר יהוה גם את יהודה אסיר מעל פני כאשר הסרתי את ישראל ומאסתי את העיר הזאת אשר בחרתי את ירושלם ואת הבית אשר אמרתי יהיה שמי שם ‬ (Ⅴ)

Now the rest of the acts of Josiah, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?
- Le reste des actions de Josias, et tout ce qu'il a fait, cela n'est-il pas écrit dans le livre des Chroniques des rois de Juda? (Ⅱ)
- καὶ τὰ λοιπὰ τω̃ν λόγων Ιωσιου καὶ πάντα ὅσα ἐποίησεν οὐχὶ ταυ̃τα γεγραμμένα ἐπὶ βιβλίω̨ λόγων τω̃ν ἡμερω̃ν τοι̃ς βασιλευ̃σιν Ιουδα (Ⅲ)
- Reliqua autem sermonum Josiæ, et universa quæ fecit, nonne hæc scripta sunt in libro verborum dierum regum Juda ? (Ⅳ)

In his days Pharaohnechoh king of Egypt went up against the king of Assyria to the river Euphrates: and king Josiah went against him; and he slew him at Megiddo, when he had seen him.
- De son temps, Pharaon Néco, roi d'Égypte, monta contre le roi d'Assyrie, vers le fleuve de l'Euphrate. Le roi Josias marcha à sa rencontre; et Pharaon le tua à Meguiddo, dès qu'il le vit. (Ⅱ)
- ἐν δὲ ται̃ς ἡμέραις αὐτου̃ ἀνέβη Φαραω Νεχαω βασιλεὺς Αἰγύπτου ἐπὶ βασιλέα 'Ασσυρίων ἐπὶ ποταμὸν Εὐφράτην καὶ ἐπορεύθη Ιωσιας εἰς ἀπαντὴν αὐτου̃ καὶ ἐθανάτωσεν αὐτὸν Νεχαω ἐν Μαγεδδω ἐν τω̨̃ ἰδει̃ν αὐτόν (Ⅲ)
- In diebus ejus ascendit Pharao Nechao rex Ægypti contra regem Assyriorum ad flumen Euphraten, et abiit Josias rex in occursum ejus : et occisus est in Mageddo cum vidisset eum. (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 29 ׃23  בימיו עלה פרעה נכה מלך מצרים על מלך אשור על נהר פרת וילך המלך יאשיהו לקראתו וימיתהו במגדו כראתו אתו ‬ (Ⅴ)
23. 30  
And his servants carried him in a chariot dead from Megiddo, and brought him to Jerusalem, and buried him in his own sepulchre. And the people of the land took Jehoahaz the son of Josiah, and anointed him, and made him king in his father's stead.
- Ses serviteurs l'emportèrent mort sur un char; ils l'amenèrent de Meguiddo à Jérusalem, et ils l'enterrèrent dans son sépulcre. Et le peuple du pays prit Joachaz, fils de Josias; ils l'oignirent, et le firent roi à la place de son père. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ ἐπεβίβασαν αὐτὸν οἱ παι̃δες αὐτου̃ νεκρὸν ἐκ Μαγεδδω καὶ ἤγαγον αὐτὸν εἰς Ιερουσαλημ καὶ ἔθαψαν αὐτὸν ἐν τω̨̃ τάφω̨ αὐτου̃ ἐν πόλει Δαυιδ καὶ ἔλαβεν ὁ λαὸς τη̃ς γη̃ς τὸν Ιωαχας υἱὸν Ιωσιου καὶ ἔχρισαν αὐτὸν καὶ ἐβασίλευσαν αὐτὸν ἀντὶ του̃ πατρὸς αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ)
- Et portaverunt eum servi sui mortuum de Mageddo : et pertulerunt in Jerusalem, et sepelierunt eum in sepulchro suo. Tulitque populus terræ Joachaz filium Josiæ : et unxerunt eum, et constituerunt eum regem pro patre suo.\ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 30 ׃23  וירכבהו עבדיו מת ממגדו ויבאהו ירושלם ויקברהו בקברתו ויקח עם הארץ את יהואחז בן יאשיהו וימשחו אתו וימליכו אתו תחת אביו פ‬ (Ⅴ)
23. 31  
Jehoahaz was twenty and three years old when he began to reign; and he reigned three months in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Hamutal, the daughter of Jeremiah of Libnah.
- Joachaz avait vingt-trois ans lorsqu'il devint roi, et il régna trois mois à Jérusalem. Sa mère s'appelait Hamuthal, fille de Jérémie, de Libna. (Ⅱ)
- υἱὸς εἴκοσι καὶ τριω̃ν ἐτω̃ν ἠ̃ν Ιωαχας ἐν τω̨̃ βασιλεύειν αὐτὸν καὶ τρίμηνον ἐβασίλευσεν ἐν Ιερουσαλημ καὶ ὄνομα τη̨̃ μητρὶ αὐτου̃ Αμιταλ θυγάτηρ Ιερεμιου ἐκ Λεμνα (Ⅲ)
- Viginti trium annorum erat Joachaz cum regnare cœpisset, et tribus mensibus regnavit in Jerusalem : nomen matris ejus Amital filia Jeremiæ de Lobna. (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 31 ׃23  בן עשרים ושלש שנה יהואחז במלכו ושלשה חדשים מלך בירושלם ושם אמו חמוטל בת ירמיהו מלבנה ‬ (Ⅴ)
23. 32  
And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, according to all that his fathers had done.
- Il fit ce qui est mal aux yeux de l'Éternel, entièrement comme avaient fait ses pères. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ ἐποίησεν τὸ πονηρὸν ἐν ὀφθαλμοι̃ς κυρίου κατὰ πάντα ὅσα ἐποίησαν οἱ πατέρες αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ)
- Et fecit malum coram Domino, juxta omnia quæ fecerant patres ejus. (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 32 ׃23  ויעש הרע בעיני יהוה ככל אשר עשו אבתיו ‬ (Ⅴ)
23. 33  
And Pharaohnechoh put him in bands at Riblah in the land of Hamath, that he might not reign in Jerusalem; and put the land to a tribute of an hundred talents of silver, and a talent of gold.
- Pharaon Néco l'enchaîna à Ribla, dans le pays de Hamath, pour qu'il ne régnât plus à Jérusalem; et il mit sur le pays une contribution de cent talents d'argent et d'un talent d'or. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ μετέστησεν αὐτὸν Φαραω Νεχαω ἐν Δεβλαθα ἐν γη̨̃ Εμαθ του̃ μὴ βασιλεύειν ἐν Ιερουσαλημ καὶ ἔδωκεν ζημίαν ἐπὶ τὴν γη̃ν ἑκατὸν τάλαντα ἀργυρίου καὶ ἑκατὸν τάλαντα χρυσίου (Ⅲ)
- Vinxitque eum Pharao Nechao in Rebla, quæ est in terra Emath, ne regnaret in Jerusalem : et imposuit mulctam terræ centum talentis argenti, et talento auri.\ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 33 ׃23  ויאסרהו פרעה נכה ברבלה בארץ חמת *במלך **ממלך‪[a]‬ בירושלם ויתן ענש על הארץ מאה ככר כסף וככר זהב ‬ (Ⅴ)
23. 34  
And Pharaohnechoh made Eliakim the son of Josiah king in the room of Josiah his father, and turned his name to Jehoiakim, and took Jehoahaz away: and he came to Egypt, and died there.
- Et Pharaon Néco établit roi Éliakim, fils de Josias, à la place de Josias, son père, et il changea son nom en celui de Jojakim. Il prit Joachaz, qui alla en Égypte et y mourut. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ ἐβασίλευσεν Φαραω Νεχαω ἐπ' αὐτοὺς τὸν Ελιακιμ υἱὸν Ιωσιου βασιλέως Ιουδα ἀντὶ Ιωσιου του̃ πατρὸς αὐτου̃ καὶ ἐπέστρεψεν τὸ ὄνομα αὐτου̃ Ιωακιμ καὶ τὸν Ιωαχας ἔλαβεν καὶ εἰσήνεγκεν εἰς Αἴγυπτον καὶ ἀπέθανεν ἐκει̃ (Ⅲ)
- Regemque constituit Pharao Nechao Eliacim filium Josiæ pro Josia patre ejus : vertitque nomen ejus Joakim. Porro Joachaz tulit, et duxit in Ægyptum, et mortuus est ibi. (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 34 ׃23  וימלך פרעה נכה את אליקים בן יאשיהו תחת יאשיהו אביו ויסב את שמו יהויקים ואת יהואחז לקח ויבא מצרים וימת שם ‬ (Ⅴ)
23. 35  
And Jehoiakim gave the silver and the gold to Pharaoh; but he taxed the land to give the money according to the commandment of Pharaoh: he exacted the silver and the gold of the people of the land, of every one according to his taxation, to give it unto Pharaohnechoh.
- Jojakim donna à Pharaon l'argent et l'or; mais il taxa le pays pour fournir cet argent, d'après l'ordre de Pharaon; il détermina la part de chacun et exigea du peuple du pays l'argent et l'or qu'il devait livrer à Pharaon Néco. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ τὸ ἀργύριον καὶ τὸ χρυσίον ἔδωκεν Ιωακιμ τω̨̃ Φαραω πλὴν ἐτιμογράφησεν τὴν γη̃ν του̃ δου̃ναι τὸ ἀργύριον ἐπὶ στόματος Φαραω ἀνὴρ κατὰ τὴν συντίμησιν αὐτου̃ ἔδωκαν τὸ ἀργύριον καὶ τὸ χρυσίον μετὰ του̃ λαου̃ τη̃ς γη̃ς δου̃ναι τω̨̃ Φαραω Νεχαω (Ⅲ)
- Argentum autem et aurum dedit Joakim Pharaoni, cum indixisset terræ per singulos, ut conferretur juxta præceptum Pharaonis : et unumquemque juxta vires suas exegit, tam argentum quam aurum, de populo terræ, ut daret Pharaoni Nechao. (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 35 ׃23  והכסף והזהב נתן יהויקים לפרעה אך העריך את הארץ לתת את הכסף על פי פרעה איש כערכו נגש את הכסף ואת הזהב את עם הארץ לתת לפרעה נכה ס‬ (Ⅴ)

Jehoiakim was twenty and five years old when he began to reign; and he reigned eleven years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Zebudah, the daughter of Pedaiah of Rumah.
- Jojakim avait vingt-cinq ans lorsqu'il devint roi, et il régna onze ans à Jérusalem. Sa mère s'appelait Zebudda, fille de Pedaja, de Ruma. (Ⅱ)
- υἱὸς εἴκοσι καὶ πέντε ἐτω̃ν Ιωακιμ ἐν τω̨̃ βασιλεύειν αὐτὸν καὶ ἕνδεκα ἔτη ἐβασίλευσεν ἐν Ιερουσαλημ καὶ ὄνομα τη̨̃ μητρὶ αὐτου̃ Ιελδαφ θυγάτηρ Φεδεϊα ἐκ Ρουμα (Ⅲ)
- Viginti quinque annorum erat Joakim cum regnare cœpisset, et undecim annis regnavit in Jerusalem : nomen matris ejus Zebida filia Phadaia de Ruma. (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 36 ׃23  בן עשרים וחמש שנה יהויקים במלכו ואחת עשרה שנה מלך בירושלם ושם אמו *זבידה **זבודה בת פדיה מן רומה ‬ (Ⅴ)

And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, according to all that his fathers had done.
- Il fit ce qui est mal aux yeux de l'Éternel, entièrement comme avaient fait ses pères. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ ἐποίησεν τὸ πονηρὸν ἐν ὀφθαλμοι̃ς κυρίου κατὰ πάντα ὅσα ἐποίησαν οἱ πατέρες αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ)
- Et fecit malum coram Domino juxta omnia quæ fecerant patres ejus. (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 37 ׃23  ויעש הרע בעיני יהוה ככל אשר עשו אבתיו ‬ (Ⅴ)
