24. 1  
In his days Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came up, and Jehoiakim became his servant three years: then he turned and rebelled against him.
- De son temps, Nebucadnetsar, roi de Babylone, se mit en campagne. Jojakim lui fut assujetti pendant trois ans; mais il se révolta de nouveau contre lui. (Ⅱ)
- ἐν ται̃ς ἡμέραις αὐτου̃ ἀνέβη Ναβουχοδονοσορ βασιλεὺς Βαβυλω̃νος καὶ ἐγενήθη αὐτω̨̃ Ιωακιμ δου̃λος τρία ἔτη καὶ ἐπέστρεψεν καὶ ἠθέτησεν ἐν αὐτω̨̃ (Ⅲ)
- In diebus ejus ascendit Nabuchodonosor rex Babylonis, et factus est ei Joakim servus tribus annis : et rursum rebellavit contra eum. (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 1  ׃24  בימיו עלה נבכדנאצר מלך בבל ויהי לו יהויקים עבד שלש שנים וישב וימרד בו ‬ (Ⅴ)
24. 2  
And the LORD sent against him bands of the Chaldees, and bands of the Syrians, and bands of the Moabites, and bands of the children of Ammon, and sent them against Judah to destroy it, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake by his servants the prophets.
- Alors l'Éternel envoya contre Jojakim des troupes de Chaldéens, des troupes de Syriens, des troupes de Moabites et des troupes d'Ammonites; il les envoya contre Juda pour le détruire, selon la parole que l'Éternel avait prononcée par ses serviteurs les prophètes. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ ἀπέστειλεν αὐτω̨̃ τοὺς μονοζώνους τω̃ν Χαλδαίων καὶ τοὺς μονοζώνους Συρίας καὶ τοὺς μονοζώνους Μωαβ καὶ τοὺς μονοζώνους υἱω̃ν Αμμων καὶ ἐξαπέστειλεν αὐτοὺς ἐν τη̨̃ γη̨̃ Ιουδα του̃ κατισχυ̃σαι κατὰ τὸν λόγον κυρίου ὃν ἐλάλησεν ἐν χειρὶ τω̃ν δούλων αὐτου̃ τω̃ν προφητω̃ν (Ⅲ)
- Immisitque ei Dominus latrunculos Chaldæorum, et latrunculos Syriæ, et latrunculos Moab, et latrunculos filiorum Ammon : et immisit eos in Judam ut disperderent eum, juxta verbum Domini quod locutus fuerat per servos suos prophetas. (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 2  ׃24  וישלח יהוה בו את גדודי כשדים ואת גדודי ארם ואת גדודי מואב ואת גדודי בני עמון וישלחם ביהודה להאבידו כדבר יהוה אשר דבר ביד עבדיו הנביאים ‬ (Ⅴ)
24. 3  
Surely at the commandment of the LORD came this upon Judah, to remove them out of his sight, for the sins of Manasseh, according to all that he did;
- Cela arriva uniquement sur l'ordre de l'Éternel, qui voulait ôter Juda de devant sa face, à cause de tous les péchés commis par Manassé, (Ⅱ)
- πλὴν ἐπὶ τὸν θυμὸν κυρίου ἠ̃ν ἐν τω̨̃ Ιουδα ἀποστη̃σαι αὐτὸν ἀπὸ προσώπου αὐτου̃ ἐν ἁμαρτίαις Μανασση κατὰ πάντα ὅσα ἐποίησεν (Ⅲ)
- Factum est autem hoc per verbum Domini contra Judam, ut auferret eum coram se propter peccata Manasse universa quæ fecit, (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 3  ׃24  אך על פי יהוה היתה ביהודה להסיר מעל פניו בחטאת מנשה ככל אשר עשה ‬ (Ⅴ)
24. 4  
And also for the innocent blood that he shed: for he filled Jerusalem with innocent blood; which the LORD would not pardon.
- et à cause du sang innocent qu'avait répandu Manassé et dont il avait rempli Jérusalem. Aussi l'Éternel ne voulut-il point pardonner. (Ⅱ)
- καί γε αἱ̃μα ἀθω̨̃ον ἐξέχεεν καὶ ἔπλησεν τὴν Ιερουσαλημ αἵματος ἀθώ̨ου καὶ οὐκ ἠθέλησεν κύριος ἱλασθη̃ναι (Ⅲ)
- et propter sanguinem innoxium quem effudit, et implevit Jerusalem cruore innocentium : et ob hanc rem noluit Dominus propitiari. (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 4  ׃24  וגם דם הנקי אשר שפך וימלא את ירושלם דם נקי ולא אבה יהוה לסלח ‬ (Ⅴ)
24. 5  
Now the rest of the acts of Jehoiakim, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?
- Le reste des actions de Jojakim, et tout ce qu'il a fait, cela n'est-il pas écrit dans le livre des Chroniques des rois de Juda? (Ⅱ)
- καὶ τὰ λοιπὰ τω̃ν λόγων Ιωακιμ καὶ πάντα ὅσα ἐποίησεν οὐκ ἰδοὺ ταυ̃τα γεγραμμένα ἐπὶ βιβλίω̨ λόγων τω̃ν ἡμερω̃ν τοι̃ς βασιλευ̃σιν Ιουδα (Ⅲ)
- Reliqua autem sermonum Joakim, et universa quæ fecit, nonne hæc scripta sunt in libro sermonum dierum regum Juda ? Et dormivit Joakim cum patribus suis : (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 5  ׃24  ויתר דברי יהויקים וכל אשר עשה הלא הם כתובים על ספר דברי הימים למלכי יהודה ‬ (Ⅴ)
24. 6  
So Jehoiakim slept with his fathers: and Jehoiachin his son reigned in his stead.
- Jojakin se coucha avec ses pères. Et Jojakin, son fils, régna à sa place. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ ἐκοιμήθη Ιωακιμ μετὰ τω̃ν πατέρων αὐτου̃ καὶ ἐβασίλευσεν Ιωακιμ υἱὸς αὐτου̃ ἀντ' αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ)
- et regnavit Joachin filius ejus pro eo. (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 6  ׃24  וישכב יהויקים עם אבתיו וימלך יהויכין בנו תחתיו ‬ (Ⅴ)
24. 7  
And the king of Egypt came not again any more out of his land: for the king of Babylon had taken from the river of Egypt unto the river Euphrates all that pertained to the king of Egypt.
- Le roi d'Égypte ne sortit plus de son pays, car le roi de Babylone avait pris tout ce qui était au roi d'Égypte depuis le torrent d'Égypte jusqu'au fleuve de l'Euphrate. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ οὐ προσέθετο ἔτι βασιλεὺς Αἰγύπτου ἐξελθει̃ν ἐκ τη̃ς γη̃ς αὐτου̃ ὅτι ἔλαβεν βασιλεὺς Βαβυλω̃νος ἀπὸ του̃ χειμάρρου Αἰγύπτου ἕως του̃ ποταμου̃ Εὐφράτου πάντα ὅσα ἠ̃ν του̃ βασιλέως Αἰγύπτου (Ⅲ)
- Et ultra non addidit rex Ægypti ut egrederetur de terra sua : tulerat enim rex Babylonis, a rivo Ægypti usque ad fluvium Euphraten, omnia quæ fuerant regis Ægypti.\ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 7  ׃24  ולא הסיף עוד מלך מצרים לצאת מארצו כי לקח מלך בבל מנחל מצרים עד נהר פרת כל אשר היתה למלך מצרים פ‬ (Ⅴ)
24. 8  
Jehoiachin was eighteen years old when he began to reign, and he reigned in Jerusalem three months. And his mother's name was Nehushta, the daughter of Elnathan of Jerusalem.
- Jojakin avait dix-huit ans lorsqu'il devint roi, et il régna trois mois à Jérusalem. Sa mère s'appelait Nehuschtha, fille d'Elnathan, de Jérusalem. (Ⅱ)
- υἱὸς ὀκτωκαίδεκα ἐτω̃ν Ιωακιμ ἐν τω̨̃ βασιλεύειν αὐτὸν καὶ τρίμηνον ἐβασίλευσεν ἐν Ιερουσαλημ καὶ ὄνομα τη̨̃ μητρὶ αὐτου̃ Νεσθα θυγάτηρ Ελλαναθαν ἐξ Ιερουσαλημ (Ⅲ)
- Decem et octo annorum erat Joachin cum regnare cœpisset, et tribus mensibus regnavit in Jerusalem : nomen matris ejus Nohesta filia Elnathan de Jerusalem. (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 8  ׃24  בן שמנה עשרה שנה יהויכין במלכו ושלשה חדשים מלך בירושלם ושם אמו נחשתא בת אלנתן מירושלם ‬ (Ⅴ)
24. 9  
And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, according to all that his father had done.
- Il fit ce qui est mal aux yeux de l'Éternel, entièrement comme avait fait son père. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ ἐποίησεν τὸ πονηρὸν ἐν ὀφθαλμοι̃ς κυρίου κατὰ πάντα ὅσα ἐποίησεν ὁ πατὴρ αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ)
- Et fecit malum coram Domino, juxta omnia quæ fecerat pater ejus. (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 9  ׃24  ויעש הרע בעיני יהוה ככל אשר עשה אביו ‬ (Ⅴ)
24. 10  
At that time the servants of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came up against Jerusalem, and the city was besieged.
- En ce temps-là, les serviteurs de Nebucadnetsar, roi de Babylone, montèrent contre Jérusalem, et la ville fut assiégée. (Ⅱ)
- ἐν τω̨̃ καιρω̨̃ ἐκείνω̨ ἀνέβη Ναβουχοδονοσορ βασιλεὺς Βαβυλω̃νος εἰς Ιερουσαλημ καὶ ἠ̃λθεν ἡ πόλις ἐν περιοχη̨̃ (Ⅲ)
- In tempore illo ascenderunt servi Nabuchodonosor regis Babylonis in Jerusalem, et circumdata est urbs munitionibus. (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 10 ׃24  בעת ההיא *עלה **עלו עבדי נבכדנאצר מלך בבל ירושלם ותבא העיר במצור ‬ (Ⅴ)
24. 11  
And Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came against the city, and his servants did besiege it.
- Nebucadnetsar, roi de Babylone, arriva devant la ville pendant que ses serviteurs l'assiégeaient. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ εἰση̃λθεν Ναβουχοδονοσορ βασιλεὺς Βαβυλω̃νος εἰς τὴν πόλιν καὶ οἱ παι̃δες αὐτου̃ ἐπολιόρκουν ἐπ' αὐτήν (Ⅲ)
- Venitque Nabuchodonosor rex Babylonis ad civitatem cum servis suis ut oppugnarent eam. (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 11 ׃24  ויבא נבוכדנאצר מלך בבל על העיר ועבדיו צרים עליה ‬ (Ⅴ)
24. 12  
And Jehoiachin the king of Judah went out to the king of Babylon, he, and his mother, and his servants, and his princes, and his officers: and the king of Babylon took him in the eighth year of his reign.
- Alors Jojakin, roi de Juda, se rendit auprès du roi de Babylone, avec sa mère, ses serviteurs, ses chefs et ses eunuques. Et le roi de Babylone le fit prisonnier, la huitième année de son règne. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ ἐξη̃λθεν Ιωακιμ βασιλεὺς Ιουδα ἐπὶ βασιλέα Βαβυλω̃νος αὐτὸς καὶ οἱ παι̃δες αὐτου̃ καὶ ἡ μήτηρ αὐτου̃ καὶ οἱ ἄρχοντες αὐτου̃ καὶ οἱ εὐνου̃χοι αὐτου̃ καὶ ἔλαβεν αὐτὸν βασιλεὺς Βαβυλω̃νος ἐν ἔτει ὀγδόω̨ τη̃ς βασιλείας αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ)
- Egressusque est Joachin rex Juda ad regem Babylonis, ipse et mater ejus, et servi ejus, et principes ejus, et eunuchi ejus : et suscepit eum rex Babylonis anno octavo regni sui. (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 12 ׃24  ויצא יהויכין מלך יהודה על מלך בבל הוא ואמו ועבדיו ושריו וסריסיו ויקח אתו מלך בבל בשנת שמנה למלכו ‬ (Ⅴ)
24. 13  
And he carried out thence all the treasures of the house of the LORD, and the treasures of the king's house, and cut in pieces all the vessels of gold which Solomon king of Israel had made in the temple of the LORD, as the LORD had said.
- Il tira de là tous les trésors de la maison de l'Éternel et les trésors de la maison du roi; et il brisa tous les ustensiles d'or que Salomon, roi d'Israël, avait faits dans le temple de l'Éternel, comme l'Éternel l'avait prononcé. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ ἐξήνεγκεν ἐκει̃θεν πάντας τοὺς θησαυροὺς οἴκου κυρίου καὶ τοὺς θησαυροὺς οἴκου του̃ βασιλέως καὶ συνέκοψεν πάντα τὰ σκεύη τὰ χρυσα̃ ἃ ἐποίησεν Σαλωμων βασιλεὺς Ισραηλ ἐν τω̨̃ ναω̨̃ κυρίου κατὰ τὸ ῥη̃μα κυρίου (Ⅲ)
- Et protulit inde omnes thesauros domus Domini, et thesauros domus regiæ : et concidit universa vasa aurea quæ fecerat Salomon rex Israël in templo Domini juxta verbum Domini.\ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 13 ׃24  ויוצא משם את כל אוצרות בית יהוה ואוצרות בית המלך ויקצץ את כל כלי הזהב אשר עשה שלמה מלך ישראל בהיכל יהוה כאשר דבר יהוה ‬ (Ⅴ)
24. 14  
And he carried away all Jerusalem, and all the princes, and all the mighty men of valor, even ten thousand captives, and all the craftsmen and smiths: none remained, save the poorest sort of the people of the land.
- Il emmena en captivité tout Jérusalem, tous les chefs et tous les hommes vaillants, au nombre de dix mille exilés, avec tous les charpentiers et les serruriers: il ne resta que le peuple pauvre du pays. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ ἀπώ̨κισεν τὴν Ιερουσαλημ καὶ πάντας τοὺς ἄρχοντας καὶ τοὺς δυνατοὺς ἰσχύι αἰχμαλωσίας δέκα χιλιάδας αἰχμαλωτίσας καὶ πα̃ν τέκτονα καὶ τὸν συγκλείοντα καὶ οὐχ ὑπελείφθη πλὴν οἱ πτωχοὶ τη̃ς γη̃ς (Ⅲ)
- Et transtulit omnem Jerusalem, et universos principes, et omnes fortes exercitus, decem millia, in captivitatem, et omnem artificem et clusorem : nihilque relictum est, exceptis pauperibus populi terræ. (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 14 ׃24  והגלה את כל ירושלם ואת כל השרים ואת כל גבורי החיל *עשרה **עשרת אלפים גולה וכל החרש והמסגר לא נשאר זולת דלת עם הארץ ‬ (Ⅴ)
24. 15  
And he carried away Jehoiachin to Babylon, and the king's mother, and the king's wives, and his officers, and the mighty of the land, those carried he into captivity from Jerusalem to Babylon.
- Il transporta Jojakin à Babylone; et il emmena captifs de Jérusalem à Babylone la mère du roi, les femmes du roi et ses eunuques, et les grands du pays, (Ⅱ)
- καὶ ἀπώ̨κισεν τὸν Ιωακιμ εἰς Βαβυλω̃να καὶ τὴν μητέρα του̃ βασιλέως καὶ τὰς γυναι̃κας του̃ βασιλέως καὶ τοὺς εὐνούχους αὐτου̃ καὶ τοὺς ἰσχυροὺς τη̃ς γη̃ς ἀπήγαγεν ἀποικεσίαν ἐξ Ιερουσαλημ εἰς Βαβυλω̃να (Ⅲ)
- Transtulit quoque Joachin in Babylonem, et matrem regis, et uxores regis, et eunuchos ejus : et judices terræ duxit in captivitatem de Jerusalem in Babylonem. (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 15 ׃24  ויגל את יהויכין בבלה ואת אם המלך ואת נשי המלך ואת סריסיו ואת *אולי **אילי הארץ הוליך גולה מירושלם בבלה ‬ (Ⅴ)
24. 16  
And all the men of might, even seven thousand, and craftsmen and smiths a thousand, all that were strong and apt for war, even them the king of Babylon brought captive to Babylon.
- tous les guerriers au nombre de sept mille, et les charpentiers et les serruriers au nombre de mille, tous hommes vaillants et propres à la guerre. Le roi de Babylone les emmena captifs à Babylone. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ πάντας τοὺς ἄνδρας τη̃ς δυνάμεως ἑπτακισχιλίους καὶ τὸν τέκτονα καὶ τὸν συγκλείοντα χιλίους πάντες δυνατοὶ ποιου̃ντες πόλεμον καὶ ἤγαγεν αὐτοὺς βασιλεὺς Βαβυλω̃νος μετοικεσίαν εἰς Βαβυλω̃να (Ⅲ)
- Et omnes viros robustos, septem millia, et artifices, et clusores mille, omnes viros fortes et bellatores : duxitque eos rex Babylonis captivos in Babylonem. (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 16 ׃24  ואת כל אנשי החיל שבעת אלפים והחרש והמסגר אלף הכל גבורים עשי מלחמה ויביאם מלך בבל גולה בבלה ‬ (Ⅴ)
24. 17  
And the king of Babylon made Mattaniah his father's brother king in his stead, and changed his name to Zedekiah.
- Et le roi de Babylone établit roi, à la place de Jojakin, Matthania, son oncle, dont il changea le nom en celui de Sédécias. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ ἐβασίλευσεν βασιλεὺς Βαβυλω̃νος τὸν Μαθθανιαν υἱὸν αὐτου̃ ἀντ' αὐτου̃ καὶ ἐπέθηκεν τὸ ὄνομα αὐτου̃ Σεδεκια (Ⅲ)
- Et constituit Matthaniam patruum ejus pro eo : imposuitque nomen ei Sedeciam.\ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 17 ׃24  וימלך מלך בבל את מתניה דדו תחתיו ויסב את שמו צדקיהו פ‬ (Ⅴ)
24. 18  
Zedekiah was twenty and one years old when he began to reign, and he reigned eleven years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Hamutal, the daughter of Jeremiah of Libnah.
- Sédécias avait vingt et un ans lorsqu'il devint roi, et il régna onze ans à Jérusalem. Sa mère s'appelait Hamuthal, fille de Jérémie, de Libna. (Ⅱ)
- υἱὸς εἴκοσι καὶ ἑνὸς ἐνιαυτου̃ Σεδεκιας ἐν τω̨̃ βασιλεύειν αὐτὸν καὶ ἕνδεκα ἔτη ἐβασίλευσεν ἐν Ιερουσαλημ καὶ ὄνομα τη̨̃ μητρὶ αὐτου̃ Αμιταλ θυγάτηρ Ιερεμιου (Ⅲ)
- Vigesimum et primum annum ætatis habebat Sedecias cum regnare cœpisset, et undecim annis regnavit in Jerusalem : nomen matris ejus erat Amital filia Jeremiæ de Lobna. (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 18 ׃24  בן עשרים ואחת שנה צדקיהו במלכו ואחת עשרה שנה מלך בירושלם ושם אמו *חמיטל **חמוטל בת ירמיהו מלבנה ‬ (Ⅴ)
24. 19  
And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, according to all that Jehoiakim had done.
- Il fit ce qui est mal aux yeux de l'Éternel, entièrement comme avait fait Jojakim. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ ἐποίησεν τὸ πονηρὸν ἐνώπιον κυρίου κατὰ πάντα ὅσα ἐποίησεν Ιωακιμ (Ⅲ)
- Et fecit malum coram Domino, juxta omnia quæ fecerat Joakim. (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 19 ׃24  ויעש הרע בעיני יהוה ככל אשר עשה יהויקים ‬ (Ⅴ)
24. 20  
For through the anger of the LORD it came to pass in Jerusalem and Judah, until he had cast them out from his presence, that Zedekiah rebelled against the king of Babylon.
- Et cela arriva à cause de la colère de l'Éternel contre Jérusalem et contre Juda, qu'il voulait rejeter de devant sa face. Et Sédécias se révolta contre le roi de Babylone. (Ⅱ)
- ὅτι ἐπὶ τὸν θυμὸν κυρίου ἠ̃ν ἐπὶ Ιερουσαλημ καὶ ἐν τω̨̃ Ιουδα ἕως ἀπέρριψεν αὐτοὺς ἀπὸ προσώπου αὐτου̃ καὶ ἠθέτησεν Σεδεκιας ἐν τω̨̃ βασιλει̃ Βαβυλω̃νος (Ⅲ)
- Irascebatur enim Dominus contra Jerusalem et contra Judam, donec projiceret eos a facie sua : recessitque Sedecias a rege Babylonis. (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 20 ׃24  כי על אף יהוה היתה בירושלם וביהודה עד השלכו אתם מעל פניו וימרד צדקיהו במלך בבל ס‬ (Ⅴ)
