25. 1

And it came to pass in the ninth year of his reign, in the tenth month, in the tenth day of the month, that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came, he, and all his host, against Jerusalem, and pitched against it; and they built forts against it round about.

- La neuvième année du règne de Sédécias, le dixième jour du dixième mois, Nebucadnetsar, roi de Babylone, vint avec toute son armée contre Jérusalem; il campa devant elle, et éleva des retranchements tout autour. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἐγενήθη ἐν τω̨̃ ἔτει τω̨̃ ἐνάτω̨ τη̃ς βασιλείας αὐτου̃ ἐν τω̨̃ μηνὶ τω̨̃ δεκάτω̨ ἠ̃λθεν Ναβουχοδονοσορ βασιλεὺς Βαβυλω̃νος καὶ πα̃σα ἡ δύναμις αὐτου̃ ἐπὶ Ιερουσαλημ καὶ παρενέβαλεν ἐπ' αὐτὴν καὶ ὠ̨κοδόμησεν ἐπ' αὐτὴν περίτειχος κύκλω̨ (Ⅲ)

- Factum est autem anno nono regni ejus, mense decimo, decima die mensis, venit Nabuchodonosor rex Babylonis, ipse et omnis exercitus ejus, in Jerusalem, et circumdederunt eam : et exstruxerunt in circuitu ejus munitiones. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 1 ׃25 ויהי בשנת התשיעית למלכו בחדש העשירי בעשור לחדש בא נבכדנאצר מלך בבל הוא וכל חילו על ירושלם ויחן עליה ויבנו עליה דיק סביב ‬ (Ⅴ)

25. 2

And the city was besieged unto the eleventh year of king Zedekiah.

- La ville fut assiégée jusqu'à la onzième année du roi Sédécias. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἠ̃λθεν ἡ πόλις ἐν περιοχη̨̃ ἕως του̃ ἑνδεκάτου ἔτους του̃ βασιλέως Σεδεκιου (Ⅲ)

- Et clausa est civitas atque vallata usque ad undecimum annum regis Sedeciæ, (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 2 ׃25 ותבא העיר במצור עד עשתי עשרה שנה למלך צדקיהו ‬ (Ⅴ)

25. 3

And on the ninth day of the fourth month the famine prevailed in the city, and there was no bread for the people of the land.

- Le neuvième jour du mois, la famine était forte dans la ville, et il n'y avait pas de pain pour le peuple du pays. (Ⅱ)

- ἐνάτη̨ του̃ μηνὸς καὶ ἐνίσχυσεν ὁ λιμὸς ἐν τη̨̃ πόλει καὶ οὐκ ἠ̃σαν ἄρτοι τω̨̃ λαω̨̃ τη̃ς γη̃ς (Ⅲ)

- nona die mensis : prævaluitque fames in civitate, nec erat panis populo terræ. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 3 ׃25 בתשעה לחדש ויחזק הרעב בעיר ולא היה לחם לעם הארץ ‬ (Ⅴ)

25. 4

And the city was broken up, and all the men of war fled by night by the way of the gate between two walls, which is by the king's garden: (now the Chaldees were against the city round about:) and the king went the way toward the plain.

- Alors la brèche fut faite à la ville; et tous les gens de guerre s'enfuirent de nuit par le chemin de la porte entre les deux murs près du jardin du roi, pendant que les Chaldéens environnaient la ville. Les fuyards prirent le chemin de la plaine. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἐρράγη ἡ πόλις καὶ πάντες οἱ ἄνδρες του̃ πολέμου ἐξη̃λθον νυκτὸς ὁδὸν πύλης τη̃ς ἀνὰ μέσον τω̃ν τειχέων αὕτη ἥ ἐστιν του̃ κήπου του̃ βασιλέως καὶ οἱ Χαλδαι̃οι ἐπὶ τὴν πόλιν κύκλω̨ καὶ ἐπορεύθη ὁδὸν τὴν Αραβα (Ⅲ)

- Et interrupta est civitas : et omnes viri bellatores nocte fugerunt per viam portæ quæ est inter duplicem murum ad hortum regis. Porro Chaldæi obsidebant in circuitu civitatem. Fugit itaque Sedecias per viam quæ ducit ad campestria solitudinis. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 4 ׃25 ותבקע העיר וכל אנשי המלחמה הלילה דרך שער בין החמתים אשר על גן המלך וכשדים על העיר סביב וילך דרך הערבה ‬ (Ⅴ)

25. 5

And the army of the Chaldees pursued after the king, and overtook him in the plains of Jericho: and all his army were scattered from him.

- Mais l'armée des Chaldéens poursuivit le roi et l'atteignit dans les plaines de Jéricho, et toute son armée se dispersa loin de lui. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἐδίωξεν ἡ δύναμις τω̃ν Χαλδαίων ὀπίσω του̃ βασιλέως καὶ κατέλαβον αὐτὸν ἐν Αραβωθ Ιεριχω καὶ πα̃σα ἡ δύναμις αὐτου̃ διεσπάρη ἐπάνωθεν αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ)

- Et persecutus est exercitus Chaldæorum regem, comprehenditque eum in planitie Jericho : et omnes bellatores qui erant cum eo, dispersi sunt, et reliquerunt eum. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 5 ׃25 וירדפו חיל כשדים אחר המלך וישגו אתו בערבות ירחו וכל חילו נפצו מעליו ‬ (Ⅴ)

25. 6

So they took the king, and brought him up to the king of Babylon to Riblah; and they gave judgment upon him.

- Ils saisirent le roi, et le firent monter vers le roi de Babylone à Ribla; et l'on prononça contre lui une sentence. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ συνέλαβον τὸν βασιλέα καὶ ἤγαγον αὐτὸν πρὸς τὸν βασιλέα Βαβυλω̃νος εἰς Δεβλαθα καὶ ἐλάλησεν μετ' αὐτου̃ κρίσιν (Ⅲ)

- Apprehensum ergo regem duxerunt ad regem Babylonis in Reblatha : qui locutus est cum eo judicium. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 6 ׃25 ויתפשו את המלך ויעלו אתו אל מלך בבל רבלתה וידברו אתו משפט ‬ (Ⅴ)

25. 7

And they slew the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes, and put out the eyes of Zedekiah, and bound him with fetters of brass, and carried him to Babylon.

- Les fils de Sédécias furent égorgés en sa présence; puis on creva les yeux à Sédécias, on le lia avec des chaînes d'airain, et on le mena à Babylone. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ τοὺς υἱοὺς Σεδεκιου ἔσφαξεν κατ' ὀφθαλμοὺς αὐτου̃ καὶ τοὺς ὀφθαλμοὺς Σεδεκιου ἐξετύφλωσεν καὶ ἔδησεν αὐτὸν ἐν πέδαις καὶ ἤγαγεν αὐτὸν εἰς Βαβυλω̃να (Ⅲ)

- Filios autem Sedeciæ occidit coram eo, et oculos ejus effodit, vinxitque eum catenis, et adduxit in Babylonem.\ (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 7 ׃25 ואת בני צדקיהו שחטו לעיניו ואת עיני צדקיהו עור ויאסרהו בנחשתים ויבאהו בבל ס‬ (Ⅴ)

25. 8

And in the fifth month, on the seventh day of the month, which is the nineteenth year of king Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, came Nebuzaradan, captain of the guard, a servant of the king of Babylon, unto Jerusalem:

- Le septième jour du cinquième mois, -c'était la dix-neuvième année du règne de Nebucadnetsar, roi de Babylone, -Nebuzaradan, chef des gardes, serviteur du roi de Babylone, entra dans Jérusalem. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἐν τω̨̃ μηνὶ τω̨̃ πέμπτω̨ ἑβδόμη̨ του̃ μηνός αὐτὸς ἐνιαυτὸς ἐννεακαιδέκατος τω̨̃ Ναβουχοδονοσορ βασιλει̃ Βαβυλω̃νος ἠ̃λθεν Ναβουζαρδαν ὁ ἀρχιμάγειρος ἑστὼς ἐνώπιον βασιλέως Βαβυλω̃νος εἰς Ιερουσαλημ (Ⅲ)

- Mense quinto, septima die mensis, ipse est annus nonusdecimus regis Babylonis, venit Nabuzardan princeps exercitus, servus regis Babylonis, in Jerusalem. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 8 ׃25 ובחדש החמישי בשבעה לחדש היא שנת תשע עשרה שנה למלך נבכדנאצר מלך בבל בא נבוזראדן רב טבחים עבד מלך בבל ירושלם ‬ (Ⅴ)

25. 9

And he burnt the house of the LORD, and the king's house, and all the houses of Jerusalem, and every great man's house burnt he with fire.

- Il brûla la maison de l'Éternel, la maison du roi, et toutes les maisons de Jérusalem; il livra au feu toutes les maisons de quelque importance. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἐνέπρησεν τὸν οἰ̃κον κυρίου καὶ τὸν οἰ̃κον του̃ βασιλέως καὶ πάντας τοὺς οἴκους Ιερουσαλημ καὶ πα̃ν οἰ̃κον ἐνέπρησεν (Ⅲ)

- Et succendit domum Domini, et domum regis : et domos Jerusalem, omnemque domum combussit igni. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 9 ׃25 וישרף את בית יהוה ואת בית המלך ואת כל בתי ירושלם ואת כל בית גדול שרף באש ‬ (Ⅴ)

25. 10

And all the army of the Chaldees, that were with the captain of the guard, brake down the walls of Jerusalem round about.

- Toute l'armée des Chaldéens, qui était avec le chef des gardes, démolit les murailles formant l'enceinte de Jérusalem. (Ⅱ)

- ὁ ἀρχιμάγειρος (Ⅲ)

- Et muros Jerusalem in circuitu destruxit omnis exercitus Chaldæorum, qui erat cum principe militum. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 10 ׃25 ואת חומת ירושלם סביב נתצו כל חיל כשדים אשר רב טבחים ‬ (Ⅴ)

25. 11

Now the rest of the people that were left in the city, and the fugitives that fell away to the king of Babylon, with the remnant of the multitude, did Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard carry away.

- Nebuzaradan, chef des gardes, emmena captifs ceux du peuple qui étaient demeurés dans la ville, ceux qui s'étaient rendus au roi de Babylone, et le reste de la multitude. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ τὸ περισσὸν του̃ λαου̃ τὸ καταλειφθὲν ἐν τη̨̃ πόλει καὶ τοὺς ἐμπεπτωκότας οἳ ἐνέπεσον πρὸς βασιλέα Βαβυλω̃νος καὶ τὸ λοιπὸν του̃ στηρίγματος μετη̃ρεν Ναβουζαρδαν ὁ ἀρχιμάγειρος (Ⅲ)

- Reliquam autem populi partem quæ remanserat in civitate, et perfugas qui transfugerant ad regem Babylonis, et reliquum vulgus transtulit Nabuzardan princeps militiæ. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 11 ׃25 ואת יתר העם הנשארים בעיר ואת הנפלים אשר נפלו על המלך בבל ואת יתר ההמון הגלה נבוזראדן רב טבחים ‬ (Ⅴ)

25. 12

But the captain of the guard left of the door of the poor of the land to be vinedressers and husbandmen.

- Cependant le chef des gardes laissa comme vignerons et comme laboureurs quelques-uns des plus pauvres du pays. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἀπὸ τω̃ν πτωχω̃ν τη̃ς γη̃ς ὑπέλιπεν ὁ ἀρχιμάγειρος εἰς ἀμπελουργοὺς καὶ εἰς γαβιν (Ⅲ)

- Et de pauperibus terræ reliquit vinitores et agricolas. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 12 ׃25 ומדלת הארץ השאיר רב טבחים לכרמים וליגבים ‬ (Ⅴ)

25. 13

And the pillars of brass that were in the house of the LORD, and the bases, and the brazen sea that was in the house of the LORD, did the Chaldees break in pieces, and carried the brass of them to Babylon.

- Les Chaldéens brisèrent les colonnes d'airain qui étaient dans la maison de l'Éternel, les bases, la mer d'airain qui était dans la maison de l'Éternel, et ils en emportèrent l'airain à Babylone. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ τοὺς στύλους τοὺς χαλκου̃ς τοὺς ἐν οἴκω̨ κυρίου καὶ τὰς μεχωνωθ καὶ τὴν θάλασσαν τὴν χαλκη̃ν τὴν ἐν οἴκω̨ κυρίου συνέτριψαν οἱ Χαλδαι̃οι καὶ ἠ̃ραν τὸν χαλκὸν αὐτω̃ν εἰς Βαβυλω̃να (Ⅲ)

- Columnas autem æreas quæ erant in templo Domini, et bases, et mare æreum quod erat in domo Domini, confregerunt Chaldæi, et transtulerunt æs omne in Babylonem. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 13 ׃25 ואת עמודי הנחשת אשר בית יהוה ואת המכנות ואת ים הנחשת אשר בבית יהוה שברו כשדים וישאו את נחשתם בבלה ‬ (Ⅴ)

25. 14

And the pots, and the shovels, and the snuffers, and the spoons, and all the vessels of brass wherewith they ministered, took they away.

- Ils prirent les cendriers, les pelles, les couteaux, les tasses, et tous les ustensiles d'airain avec lesquels on faisait le service. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ τοὺς λέβητας καὶ τὰ ιαμιν καὶ τὰς φιάλας καὶ τὰς θυίσκας καὶ πάντα τὰ σκεύη τὰ χαλκα̃ ἐν οἱ̃ς λειτουργου̃σιν ἐν αὐτοι̃ς ἔλαβεν (Ⅲ)

- Ollas quoque æreas, et trullas, et tridentes, et scyphos, et mortariola, et omnia vasa ærea, in quibus ministrabant, tulerunt. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 14 ׃25 ואת הסירת ואת היעים ואת המזמרות ואת הכפות ואת כל כלי הנחשת אשר ישרתו בם לקחו ‬ (Ⅴ)

25. 15

And the firepans, and the bowls, and such things as were of gold, in gold, and of silver, in silver, the captain of the guard took away.

- Le chef des gardes prit encore les brasiers et les coupes, ce qui était d'or et ce qui était d'argent. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ τὰ πυρει̃α καὶ τὰς φιάλας τὰς χρυσα̃ς καὶ τὰς ἀργυρα̃ς ἔλαβεν ὁ ἀρχιμάγειρος (Ⅲ)

- Necnon et thuribula, et phialas : quæ aurea, aurea, et quæ argentea, argentea tulit princeps militiæ, (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 15 ׃25 ואת המחתות ואת המזרקות אשר זהב זהב ואשר כסף כסף לקח רב טבחים ‬ (Ⅴ)

25. 16

The two pillars, one sea, and the bases which Solomon had made for the house of the LORD; the brass of all these vessels was without weight.

- Les deux colonnes, la mer, et les bases, que Salomon avait faites pour la maison de l'Éternel, tous ces ustensiles d'airain avaient un poids inconnu. (Ⅱ)

- στύλους δύο ἡ θάλασσα ἡ μία καὶ τὰ μεχωνωθ ἃ ἐποίησεν Σαλωμων τω̨̃ οἴκω̨ κυρίου οὐκ ἠ̃ν σταθμὸς του̃ χαλκου̃ πάντων τω̃ν σκευω̃ν (Ⅲ)

- id est, columnas duas, mare unum, et bases quas fecerat Salomon in templo Domini : non erat pondus æris omnium vasorum. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 16 ׃25 העמודים שנים הים האחד והמכנות אשר עשה שלמה לבית יהוה לא היה משקל לנחשת כל הכלים האלה ‬ (Ⅴ)

25. 17

The height of the one pillar was eighteen cubits, and the chapiter upon it was brass: and the height of the chapiter three cubits; and the wreathed work, and pomegranates upon the chapiter round about, all of brass: and like unto these had the second pillar with wreathed work.

- La hauteur d'une colonne était de dix-huit coudées, et il y avait au-dessus un chapiteau d'airain dont la hauteur était de trois coudées; autour du chapiteau il y avait un treillis et des grenades, le tout d'airain; il en était de même pour la seconde colonne avec le treillis. (Ⅱ)

- ὀκτωκαίδεκα πήχεων ὕψος του̃ στύλου του̃ ἑνός καὶ τὸ χωθαρ ἐπ' αὐτου̃ τὸ χαλκου̃ν καὶ τὸ ὕψος του̃ χωθαρ τριω̃ν πήχεων σαβαχα καὶ ῥοαὶ ἐπὶ του̃ χωθαρ κύκλω̨ τὰ πάντα χαλκα̃ καὶ κατὰ τὰ αὐτὰ τω̨̃ στύλω̨ τω̨̃ δευτέρω̨ ἐπὶ τω̨̃ σαβαχα (Ⅲ)

- Decem et octo cubitos altitudinis habebat columna una : et capitellum æreum super se altitudinis trium cubitorum : et retiaculum, et malogranata super capitellum columnæ, omnia ærea : similem et columna secunda habebat ornatum. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 17 ׃25 שמנה עשרה אמה קומת העמוד האחד וכתרת עליו נחשת וקומת הכתרת שלש *אמה **אמות ושבכה ורמנים על הכתרת סביב הכל נחשת וכאלה לעמוד השני על השבכה ‬ (Ⅴ)

25. 18

And the captain of the guard took Seraiah the chief priest, and Zephaniah the second priest, and the three keepers of the door:

- Le chef des gardes prit Seraja, le souverain sacrificateur, Sophonie, le second sacrificateur, et les trois gardiens du seuil. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἔλαβεν ὁ ἀρχιμάγειρος τὸν Σαραιαν ἱερέα τὸν πρω̃τον καὶ τὸν Σοφονιαν υἱὸν τη̃ς δευτερώσεως καὶ τοὺς τρει̃ς τοὺς φυλάσσοντας τὸν σταθμὸν (Ⅲ)

- Tulit quoque princeps militiæ Saraiam sacerdotem primum, et Sophoniam sacerdotem secundum, et tres janitores. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 18 ׃25 ויקח רב טבחים את שריה כהן הראש ואת צפניהו כהן משנה ואת שלשת שמרי הסף ‬ (Ⅴ)

25. 19

And out of the city he took an officer that was set over the men of war, and five men of them that were in the king's presence, which were found in the city, and the principal scribe of the host, which mustered the people of the land, and threescore men of the people of the land that were found in the city:

- Et dans la ville il prit un eunuque qui avait sous son commandement les gens de guerre, cinq hommes qui faisaient partie des conseillers du roi et qui furent trouvés dans la ville, le secrétaire du chef de l'armée qui était chargé d'enrôler le peuple du pays, et soixante hommes du peuple du pays qui se trouvèrent dans la ville. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἐκ τη̃ς πόλεως ἔλαβεν εὐνου̃χον ἕνα ὃς ἠ̃ν ἐπιστάτης ἐπὶ τω̃ν ἀνδρω̃ν τω̃ν πολεμιστω̃ν καὶ πέντε ἄνδρας τω̃ν ὁρώντων τὸ πρόσωπον του̃ βασιλέως τοὺς εὑρεθέντας ἐν τη̨̃ πόλει καὶ τὸν γραμματέα του̃ ἄρχοντος τη̃ς δυνάμεως τὸν ἐκτάσσοντα τὸν λαὸν τη̃ς γη̃ς καὶ ἑξήκοντα ἄνδρας του̃ λαου̃ τη̃ς γη̃ς τοὺς εὑρεθέντας ἐν τη̨̃ πόλει (Ⅲ)

- Et de civitate eunuchum unum, qui erat præfectus super bellatores viros : et quinque viros de his qui steterant coram rege, quos reperit in civitate : et Sopher principem exercitus, qui probabat tyrones de populo terræ : et sexaginta viros e vulgo, qui inventi fuerant in civitate. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 19 ׃25 ומן העיר לקח סריס אחד אשר הוא פקיד על אנשי המלחמה וחמשה אנשים מראי פני המלך אשר נמצאו בעיר ואת הספר שר הצבא המצבא את עם הארץ וששים איש מעם הארץ הנמצאים בעיר ‬ (Ⅴ)

25. 20

And Nebuzaradan captain of the guard took these, and brought them to the king of Babylon to Riblah:

- Nebuzaradan, chef des gardes, les prit, et les conduisit vers le roi de Babylone à Ribla. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἔλαβεν αὐτοὺς Ναβουζαρδαν ὁ ἀρχιμάγειρος καὶ ἀπήγαγεν αὐτοὺς πρὸς τὸν βασιλέα Βαβυλω̃νος εἰς Δεβλαθα (Ⅲ)

- Quos tollens Nabuzardan princeps militum, duxit ad regem Babylonis in Reblatha. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 20 ׃25 ויקח אתם נבוזראדן רב טבחים וילך אתם על מלך בבל רבלתה ‬ (Ⅴ)

25. 21

And the king of Babylon smote them, and slew them at Riblah in the land of Hamath. So Judah was carried away out of their land.

- Le roi de Babylone les frappa et les fit mourir à Ribla, dans le pays de Hamath. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἔπαισεν αὐτοὺς βασιλεὺς Βαβυλω̃νος καὶ ἐθανάτωσεν αὐτοὺς ἐν Δεβλαθα ἐν γη̨̃ Αιμαθ καὶ ἀπω̨κίσθη Ιουδας ἐπάνωθεν τη̃ς γη̃ς αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ)

- Percussitque eos rex Babylonis, et interfecit eos in Reblatha in terra Emath : et translatus est Juda de terra sua.\ (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 21 ׃25 ויך אתם מלך בבל וימיתם ברבלה בארץ חמת ויגל יהודה מעל אדמתו ‬ (Ⅴ)

25. 22

And as for the people that remained in the land of Judah, whom Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon had left, even over them he made Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan, ruler.

- Ainsi Juda fut emmené captif loin de son pays. Et Nebucadnetsar, roi de Babylone, plaça le reste du peuple, qu'il laissa dans le pays de Juda, sous le commandement de Guedalia, fils d'Achikam, fils de Schaphan. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ὁ λαὸς ὁ καταλειφθεὶς ἐν γη̨̃ Ιουδα οὓς κατέλιπεν Ναβουχοδονοσορ βασιλεὺς Βαβυλω̃νος καὶ κατέστησεν ἐπ' αὐτω̃ν τὸν Γοδολιαν υἱὸν Αχικαμ υἱου̃ Σαφαν (Ⅲ)

- Populo autem qui relictus erat in terra Juda, quem dimiserat Nabuchodonosor rex Babylonis, præfecit Godoliam filium Ahicam filii Saphan. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 22 ׃25 והעם הנשאר בארץ יהודה אשר השאיר נבוכדנאצר מלך בבל ויפקד עליהם את גדליהו בן אחיקם בן שפן פ‬ (Ⅴ)

25. 23

And when all the captains of the armies, they and their men, heard that the king of Babylon had made Gedaliah governor, there came to Gedaliah to Mizpah, even Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, and Johanan the son of Careah, and Seraiah the son of Tanhumeth the Netophathite, and Jaazaniah the son of a Maachathite, they and their men.

- Lorsque tous les chefs des troupes eurent appris, eux et leurs hommes, que le roi de Babylone avait établi Guedalia pour gouverneur, ils se rendirent auprès de Guedalia à Mitspa, savoir Ismaël, fils de Nethania, Jochanan, fils de Karéach, Seraja, fils de Thanhumeth, de Nethopha, et Jaazania, fils du Maacathien, eux et leurs hommes. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἤκουσαν πάντες οἱ ἄρχοντες τη̃ς δυνάμεως αὐτοὶ καὶ οἱ ἄνδρες αὐτω̃ν ὅτι κατέστησεν βασιλεὺς Βαβυλω̃νος τὸν Γοδολιαν καὶ ἠ̃λθον πρὸς Γοδολιαν εἰς Μασσηφαθ καὶ Ισμαηλ υἱὸς Ναθανιου καὶ Ιωαναν υἱὸς Καρηε καὶ Σαραιας υἱὸς Θανεμαθ ὁ Νετωφαθίτης καὶ Ιεζονιας υἱὸς του̃ Μαχαθι αὐτοὶ καὶ οἱ ἄνδρες αὐτω̃ν (Ⅲ)

- Quod cum audissent omnes duces militum, ipsi et viri qui erant cum eis, videlicet quod constituisset rex Babylonis Godoliam, venerunt ad Godoliam in Maspha, Ismahel filius Nathaniæ, et Johanan filius Caree, et Saraia filius Thanehumeth Netophathites, et Jezonias filius Maachathi, ipsi et socii eorum. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 23 ׃25 וישמעו כל שרי החילים המה והאנשים כי הפקיד מלך בבל את גדליהו ויבאו אל גדליהו המצפה וישמעאל בן נתניה ויוחנן בן קרח ושריה בן תנחמת הנטפתי ויאזניהו בן המעכתי המה ואנשיהם ‬ (Ⅴ)

25. 24

And Gedaliah sware to them, and to their men, and said unto them, Fear not to be the servants of the Chaldees: dwell in the land, and serve the king of Babylon; and it shall be well with you.

- Guedalia leur jura, à eux et à leurs hommes, et leur dit: Ne craignez rien de la part des serviteurs des Chaldéens; demeurez dans le pays, servez le roi de Babylone, et vous vous en trouverez bien. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ὤμοσεν Γοδολιας αὐτοι̃ς καὶ τοι̃ς ἀνδράσιν αὐτω̃ν καὶ εἰ̃πεν αὐτοι̃ς μὴ φοβει̃σθε πάροδον τω̃ν Χαλδαίων καθίσατε ἐν τη̨̃ γη̨̃ καὶ δουλεύσατε τω̨̃ βασιλει̃ Βαβυλω̃νος καὶ καλω̃ς ἔσται ὑμι̃ν (Ⅲ)

- Juravitque Godolias ipsis et sociis eorum, dicens : Nolite timere servire Chaldæis : manete in terra, et servite regi Babylonis, et bene erit vobis. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 24 ׃25 וישבע להם גדליהו ולאנשיהם ויאמר להם אל תיראו מעבדי הכשדים שבו בארץ ועבדו את מלך בבל ויטב לכם ס‬ (Ⅴ)

25. 25

But it came to pass in the seventh month, that Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, the son of Elishama, of the seed royal, came, and ten men with him, and smote Gedaliah, that he died, and the Jews and the Chaldees that were with him at Mizpah.

- Mais au septième mois, Ismaël, fils de Nethania, fils d'Élischama, de la race royale, vint, accompagné de dix hommes, et ils frappèrent mortellement Guedalia, ainsi que les Juifs et les Chaldéens qui étaient avec lui à Mitspa. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἐγενήθη ἐν τω̨̃ ἑβδόμω̨ μηνὶ ἠ̃λθεν Ισμαηλ υἱὸς Ναθανιου υἱου̃ Ελισαμα ἐκ του̃ σπέρματος τω̃ν βασιλέων καὶ δέκα ἄνδρες μετ' αὐτου̃ καὶ ἐπάταξεν τὸν Γοδολιαν καὶ ἀπέθανεν καὶ τοὺς Ιουδαίους καὶ τοὺς Χαλδαίους οἳ ἠ̃σαν μετ' αὐτου̃ εἰς Μασσηφαθ (Ⅲ)

- Factum est autem in mense septimo, venit Ismahel filius Nathaniæ filii Elisama de semine regio, et decem viri cum eo : percusseruntque Godoliam, qui et mortuus est : sed et Judæos et Chaldæos qui erant cum eo in Maspha.\ (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 25 ׃25 ויהי בחדש השביעי בא ישמעאל בן נתניה בן אלישמע מזרע המלוכה ועשרה אנשים אתו ויכו את גדליהו וימת ואת היהודים ואת הכשדים אשר היו אתו במצפה ‬ (Ⅴ)

25. 26

And all the people, both small and great, and the captains of the armies, arose, and came to Egypt: for they were afraid of the Chaldees.

- Alors tout le peuple, depuis le plus petit jusqu'au plus grand, et les chefs des troupes, se levèrent et s'en allèrent en Égypte, parce qu'ils avaient peur des Chaldéens. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἀνέστη πα̃ς ὁ λαὸς ἀπὸ μικρου̃ καὶ ἕως μεγάλου καὶ οἱ ἄρχοντες τω̃ν δυνάμεων καὶ εἰση̃λθον εἰς Αἴγυπτον ὅτι ἐφοβήθησαν ἀπὸ προσώπου τω̃ν Χαλδαίων (Ⅲ)

- Consurgensque omnis populus a parvo usque ad magnum, et principes militum, venerunt in Ægyptum timentes Chaldæos. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 26 ׃25 ויקמו כל העם מקטן ועד גדול ושרי החילים ויבאו מצרים כי יראו מפני כשדים פ‬ (Ⅴ)

25. 27

And it came to pass in the seven and thirtieth year of the captivity of Jehoiachin king of Judah, in the twelfth month, on the seven and twentieth day of the month, that Evilmerodach king of Babylon in the year that he began to reign did lift up the head of Jehoiachin king of Judah out of prison;

- La trente-septième année de la captivité de Jojakin, roi de Juda, le vingt-septième jour du douzième mois, Évil Merodac, roi de Babylone, dans la première année de son règne, releva la tête de Jojakin, roi de Juda, et le tira de prison. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἐγενήθη ἐν τω̨̃ τριακοστω̨̃ καὶ ἑβδόμω̨ ἔτει τη̃ς ἀποικεσίας του̃ Ιωακιμ βασιλέως Ιουδα ἐν τω̨̃ δωδεκάτω̨ μηνὶ ἑβδόμη̨ καὶ εἰκάδι του̃ μηνὸς ὕψωσεν Ευιλμαρωδαχ βασιλεὺς Βαβυλω̃νος ἐν τω̨̃ ἐνιαυτω̨̃ τη̃ς βασιλείας αὐτου̃ τὴν κεφαλὴν Ιωακιμ βασιλέως Ιουδα καὶ ἐξήγαγεν αὐτὸν ἐξ οἴκου φυλακη̃ς αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ)

- Factum est vero in anno trigesimo septimo transmigrationis Joachin regis Juda, mense duodecimo, vigesima septima die mensis : sublevavit Evilmerodach rex Babylonis, anno quo regnare cœperat, caput Joachin regis Juda de carcere. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 27 ׃25 ויהי בשלשים ושבע שנה לגלות יהויכין מלך יהודה בשנים עשר חדש בעשרים ושבעה לחדש נשא אויל מרדך מלך בבל בשנת מלכו את ראש יהויכין מלך יהודה מבית כלא ‬ (Ⅴ)

25. 28

And he spake kindly to him, and set his throne above the throne of the kings that were with him in Babylon;

- Il lui parla avec bonté, et il mit son trône au-dessus du trône des rois qui étaient avec lui à Babylone. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἐλάλησεν μετ' αὐτου̃ ἀγαθὰ καὶ ἔδωκεν τὸν θρόνον αὐτου̃ ἐπάνωθεν τω̃ν θρόνων τω̃ν βασιλέων τω̃ν μετ' αὐτου̃ ἐν Βαβυλω̃νι (Ⅲ)

- Et locutus est ei benigne, et posuit thronum ejus super thronum regum qui erant cum eo in Babylone. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 28 ׃25 וידבר אתו טבות ויתן את כסאו מעל כסא המלכים אשר אתו בבבל ‬ (Ⅴ)

25. 29

And changed his prison garments: and he did eat bread continually before him all the days of his life.

- Il lui fit changer ses vêtements de prison, et Jojakin mangea toujours à sa table tout le temps de sa vie. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἠλλοίωσεν τὰ ἱμάτια τη̃ς φυλακη̃ς αὐτου̃ καὶ ἤσθιεν ἄρτον διὰ παντὸς ἐνώπιον αὐτου̃ πάσας τὰς ἡμέρας τη̃ς ζωη̃ς αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ)

- Et mutavit vestes ejus quas habuerat in carcere, et comedebat panem semper in conspectu ejus cunctis diebus vitæ suæ. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 29 ׃25 ושנא את בגדי כלאו ואכל לחם תמיד לפניו כל ימי חייו ‬ (Ⅴ)

25. 30

And his allowance was a continual allowance given him of the king, a daily rate for every day, all the days of his life.

- Le roi pourvut constamment à son entretien journalier tout le temps de sa vie. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἡ ἑστιατορία αὐτου̃ ἑστιατορία διὰ παντὸς ἐδόθη αὐτω̨̃ ἐξ οἴκου του̃ βασιλέως λόγον ἡμέρας ἐν τη̨̃ ἡμέρα̨ αὐτου̃ πάσας τὰς ἡμέρας τη̃ς ζωη̃ς αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ)

- Annonam quoque constituit ei sine intermissione, quæ et dabatur ei a rege per singulos dies omnibus diebus vitæ suæ. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 30 ׃25 וארחתו ארחת תמיד נתנה לו מאת המלך דבר יום ביומו כל ימי חיו ‬ (Ⅴ)
