‫ 1  ׃1   ויפשע מואב בישראל אחרי מות אחאב ‬
- Moab se révolta contre Israël, après la mort d'Achab. (Ⅱ)
- Then Moab rebelled against Israel after the death of Ahab. (Ⅲ)
- καὶ ἠθέτησεν Μωαβ ἐν Ισραηλ μετὰ τὸ ἀποθανει̃ν Αχααβ (Ⅳ)
- Prævaricatus est autem Moab in Israël, postquam mortuus est Achab. (Ⅴ)

‫ 2  ׃1   ויפל אחזיה בעד השבכה בעליתו אשר בשמרון ויחל וישלח מלאכים ויאמר אלהם לכו דרשו בבעל זבוב אלהי עקרון אם אחיה מחלי זה ס‬
- Or Achazia tomba par le treillis de sa chambre haute à Samarie, et il en fut malade. Il fit partir des messagers, et leur dit: Allez, consultez Baal Zebub, dieu d'Ékron, pour savoir si je guérirai de cette maladie. (Ⅱ)
- And Ahaziah fell down through a lattice in his upper chamber that was in Samaria, and was sick: and he sent messengers, and said unto them, Go, enquire of Baalzebub the god of Ekron whether I shall recover of this disease. (Ⅲ)
- καὶ ἔπεσεν Οχοζιας διὰ του̃ δικτυωτου̃ του̃ ἐν τω̨̃ ὑπερώ̨ω̨ αὐτου̃ τω̨̃ ἐν Σαμαρεία̨ καὶ ἠρρώστησεν καὶ ἀπέστειλεν ἀγγέλους καὶ εἰ̃πεν πρὸς αὐτούς δευ̃τε καὶ ἐπιζητήσατε ἐν τη̨̃ Βααλ μυι̃αν θεὸν Ακκαρων εἰ ζήσομαι ἐκ τη̃ς ἀρρωστίας μου ταύτης καὶ ἐπορεύθησαν ἐπερωτη̃σαι δι' αὐτου̃ (Ⅳ)
- Ceciditque Ochozias per cancellos cœnaculi sui, quod habebat in Samaria, et ægrotavit : misitque nuntios, dicens ad eos : Ite, consulite Beelzebub deum Accaron, utrum vivere queam de infirmitate mea hac. (Ⅴ)

‫ 3  ׃1   ומלאך יהוה דבר אל אליה התשבי קום עלה לקראת מלאכי מלך שמרון ודבר אלהם המבלי אין אלהים בישראל אתם הלכים לדרש בבעל זבוב אלהי עקרון ‬
- Mais l'ange de l'Éternel dit à Élie, le Thischbite: Lève-toi, monte à la rencontre des messagers du roi de Samarie, et dis-leur: Est-ce parce qu'il n'y a point de Dieu en Israël que vous allez consulter Baal Zebub, dieu d'Ékron? (Ⅱ)
- But the angel of the LORD said to Elijah the Tishbite, Arise, go up to meet the messengers of the king of Samaria, and say unto them, Is it not because there is not a God in Israel, that ye go to enquire of Baalzebub the god of Ekron? (Ⅲ)
- καὶ ἄγγελος κυρίου ἐλάλησεν πρὸς Ηλιου τὸν Θεσβίτην λέγων ἀναστὰς δευ̃ρο εἰς συνάντησιν τω̃ν ἀγγέλων Οχοζιου βασιλέως Σαμαρείας καὶ λαλήσεις πρὸς αὐτούς εἰ παρὰ τὸ μὴ εἰ̃ναι θεὸν ἐν Ισραηλ ὑμει̃ς πορεύεσθε ἐπιζητη̃σαι ἐν τη̨̃ Βααλ μυι̃αν θεὸν Ακκαρων (Ⅳ)
- Angelus autem Domini locutus est ad Eliam Thesbiten, dicens : Surge, et ascende in occursum nuntiorum regis Samariæ, et dices ad eos : Numquid non est Deus in Israël, ut eatis ad consulendum Beelzebub deum Accaron ? (Ⅴ)

‫ 4  ׃1   ולכן כה אמר יהוה המטה אשר עלית שם לא תרד ממנה כי מות תמות וילך אליה ‬
- C'est pourquoi ainsi parle l'Éternel: Tu ne descendras pas du lit sur lequel tu es monté, car tu mourras. Et Élie s'en alla. (Ⅱ)
- Now therefore thus saith the LORD, Thou shalt not come down from that bed on which thou art gone up, but shalt surely die. And Elijah departed. (Ⅲ)
- καὶ οὐχ οὕτως ὅτι τάδε λέγει κύριος ἡ κλίνη ἐφ' ἡ̃ς ἀνέβης ἐκει̃ οὐ καταβήση̨ ἀπ' αὐτη̃ς ὅτι ἐκει̃ θανάτω̨ ἀποθανη̨̃ καὶ ἐπορεύθη Ηλιου καὶ εἰ̃πεν πρὸς αὐτούς (Ⅳ)
- Quam ob rem hæc dicit Dominus : De lectulo, super quem ascendisti, non descendes, sed morte morieris. Et abiit Elias. (Ⅴ)

‫ 5  ׃1   וישובו המלאכים אליו ויאמר אליהם מה זה שבתם ‬
- Les messagers retournèrent auprès d'Achazia. Et il leur dit: Pourquoi revenez-vous? (Ⅱ)
- And when the messengers turned back unto him, he said unto them, Why are ye now turned back? (Ⅲ)
- καὶ ἐπεστράφησαν οἱ ἄγγελοι πρὸς αὐτόν καὶ εἰ̃πεν πρὸς αὐτούς τί ὅτι ἐπεστρέψατε (Ⅳ)
- Reversique sunt nuntii ad Ochoziam. Qui dixit eis : Quare reversi estis ? (Ⅴ)

‫ 6  ׃1   ויאמרו אליו איש עלה לקראתנו ויאמר אלינו לכו שובו אל המלך אשר שלח אתכם ודברתם אליו כה אמר יהוה המבלי אין אלהים בישראל אתה שלח לדרש בבעל זבוב אלהי עקרון לכן המטה אשר עלית שם לא תרד ממנה כי מות תמות ‬
- Ils lui répondirent: Un homme est monté à notre rencontre, et nous a dit: Allez, retournez vers le roi qui vous a envoyés, et dites-lui: Ainsi parle l'Éternel: Est-ce parce qu'il n'y a point de Dieu en Israël que tu envoies consulter Baal Zebub, dieu d'Ékron? C'est pourquoi tu ne descendras pas du lit sur lequel tu es monté, car tu mourras. (Ⅱ)
- And they said unto him, There came a man up to meet us, and said unto us, Go, turn again unto the king that sent you, and say unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Is it not because there is not a God in Israel, that thou sendest to enquire of Baalzebub the god of Ekron? therefore thou shalt not come down from that bed on which thou art gone up, but shalt surely die. (Ⅲ)
- καὶ εἰ̃παν πρὸς αὐτόν ἀνὴρ ἀνέβη εἰς συνάντησιν ἡμω̃ν καὶ εἰ̃πεν πρὸς ἡμα̃ς δευ̃τε ἐπιστράφητε πρὸς τὸν βασιλέα τὸν ἀποστείλαντα ὑμα̃ς καὶ λαλήσατε πρὸς αὐτόν τάδε λέγει κύριος εἰ παρὰ τὸ μὴ εἰ̃ναι θεὸν ἐν Ισραηλ σὺ πορεύη̨ ζητη̃σαι ἐν τη̨̃ Βααλ μυι̃αν θεὸν Ακκαρων οὐχ οὕτως ἡ κλίνη ἐφ' ἡ̃ς ἀνέβης ἐκει̃ οὐ καταβήση̨ ἀπ' αὐτη̃ς ὅτι θανάτω̨ ἀποθανη̨̃ (Ⅳ)
- At illi responderunt ei : Vir occurrit nobis, et dixit ad nos : Ite, et revertimini ad regem qui misit vos, et dicetis ei : Hæc dicit Dominus : Numquid quia non erat Deus in Israël, mittis ut consulatur Beelzebub deus Accaron ? idcirco de lectulo, super quem ascendisti, non descendes, sed morte morieris. (Ⅴ)

‫ 7  ׃1   וידבר אלהם מה משפט האיש אשר עלה לקראתכם וידבר אליכם את הדברים האלה ‬
- Achazia leur dit: Quel air avait l'homme qui est monté à votre rencontre et qui vous a dit ces paroles? (Ⅱ)
- And he said unto them, What manner of man was he which came up to meet you, and told you these words? (Ⅲ)
- καὶ ἐλάλησεν πρὸς αὐτοὺς λέγων τίς ἡ κρίσις του̃ ἀνδρὸς του̃ ἀναβάντος εἰς συνάντησιν ὑμι̃ν καὶ λαλήσαντος πρὸς ὑμα̃ς τοὺς λόγους τούτους (Ⅳ)
- Qui dixit eis : Cujus figuræ et habitus est vir ille, qui occurrit vobis, et locutus est verba hæc ? (Ⅴ)

‫ 8  ׃1   ויאמרו אליו איש בעל שער ואזור עור אזור במתניו ויאמר אליה התשבי הוא ‬
- Ils lui répondirent: C'était un homme vêtu de poil et ayant une ceinture de cuir autour des reins. Et Achazia dit: C'est Élie, le Thischbite. (Ⅱ)
- And they answered him, He was an hairy man, and girt with a girdle of leather about his loins. And he said, It is Elijah the Tishbite. (Ⅲ)
- καὶ εἰ̃πον πρὸς αὐτόν ἀνὴρ δασὺς καὶ ζώνην δερματίνην περιεζωσμένος τὴν ὀσφὺν αὐτου̃ καὶ εἰ̃πεν Ηλιου ὁ Θεσβίτης οὑ̃τός ἐστιν (Ⅳ)
- At illi dixerunt : Vir pilosus, et zona pellicea accinctus renibus. Qui ait : Elias Thesbites est.\ (Ⅴ)

‫ 9  ׃1   וישלח אליו שר חמשים וחמשיו ויעל אליו והנה ישב על ראש ההר וידבר אליו איש האלהים המלך דבר רדה ‬
- Il envoya vers lui un chef de cinquante avec ses cinquante hommes. Ce chef monta auprès d'Élie, qui était assis sur le sommet de la montagne, et il lui dit: Homme de Dieu, le roi a dit: Descends! (Ⅱ)
- Then the king sent unto him a captain of fifty with his fifty. And he went up to him: and, behold, he sat on the top of an hill. And he spake unto him, Thou man of God, the king hath said, Come down. (Ⅲ)
- καὶ ἀπέστειλεν πρὸς αὐτὸν ἡγούμενον πεντηκόνταρχον καὶ τοὺς πεντήκοντα αὐτου̃ καὶ ἀνέβη καὶ ἠ̃λθεν πρὸς αὐτόν καὶ ἰδοὺ Ηλιου ἐκάθητο ἐπὶ τη̃ς κορυφη̃ς του̃ ὄρους καὶ ἐλάλησεν ὁ πεντηκόνταρχος πρὸς αὐτὸν καὶ εἰ̃πεν ἄνθρωπε του̃ θεου̃ ὁ βασιλεὺς ἐκάλεσέν σε κατάβηθι (Ⅳ)
- Misitque ad eum quinquagenarium principem, et quinquaginta qui erant sub eo. Qui ascendit ad eum : sedentique in vertice montis, ait : Homo Dei, rex præcepit ut descendas. (Ⅴ)

‫ 10 ׃1   ויענה אליהו וידבר אל שר החמשים ואם איש אלהים אני תרד אש מן השמים ותאכל אתך ואת חמשיך ותרד אש מן השמים ותאכל אתו ואת חמשיו ‬
- Élie répondit au chef de cinquante: Si je suis un homme de Dieu, que le feu descende du ciel et te consume, toi et tes cinquante hommes! Et le feu descendit du ciel et le consuma, lui et ses cinquante hommes. (Ⅱ)
- And Elijah answered and said to the captain of fifty, If I be a man of God, then let fire come down from heaven, and consume thee and thy fifty. And there came down fire from heaven, and consumed him and his fifty. (Ⅲ)
- καὶ ἀπεκρίθη Ηλιου καὶ εἰ̃πεν πρὸς τὸν πεντηκόνταρχον καὶ εἰ ἄνθρωπος του̃ θεου̃ ἐγώ καταβήσεται πυ̃ρ ἐκ του̃ οὐρανου̃ καὶ καταφάγεταί σε καὶ τοὺς πεντήκοντά σου καὶ κατέβη πυ̃ρ ἐκ του̃ οὐρανου̃ καὶ κατέφαγεν αὐτὸν καὶ τοὺς πεντήκοντα αὐτου̃ (Ⅳ)
- Respondensque Elias, dixit quinquagenario : Si homo Dei sum, descendat ignis de cælo, et devoret te, et quinquaginta tuos. Descendit itaque ignis de cælo, et devoravit eum, et quinquaginta qui erant cum eo. (Ⅴ)

‫ 11 ׃1   וישב וישלח אליו שר חמשים אחר וחמשיו ויען וידבר אליו איש האלהים כה אמר המלך מהרה רדה ‬
- Achazia envoya de nouveau vers lui un autre chef de cinquante avec ses cinquante hommes. Ce chef prit la parole et dit à Élie: Homme de Dieu, ainsi a dit le roi: Hâte-toi de descendre! (Ⅱ)
- Again also he sent unto him another captain of fifty with his fifty. And he answered and said unto him, O man of God, thus hath the king said, Come down quickly. (Ⅲ)
- καὶ προσέθετο ὁ βασιλεὺς καὶ ἀπέστειλεν πρὸς αὐτὸν ἄλλον πεντηκόνταρχον καὶ τοὺς πεντήκοντα αὐτου̃ καὶ ἀνέβη καὶ ἐλάλησεν ὁ πεντηκόνταρχος πρὸς αὐτὸν καὶ εἰ̃πεν ἄνθρωπε του̃ θεου̃ τάδε λέγει ὁ βασιλεύς ταχέως κατάβηθι (Ⅳ)
- Rursumque misit ad eum principem quinquagenarium alterum, et quinquaginta cum eo. Qui locutus est illi : Homo Dei, hæc dicit rex : Festina, descende. (Ⅴ)
1. 12  
‫ 12 ׃1   ויען אליה וידבר אליהם אם איש האלהים אני תרד אש מן השמים ותאכל אתך ואת חמשיך ותרד אש אלהים מן השמים ותאכל אתו ואת חמשיו ‬
- Élie leur répondit: Si je suis un homme de Dieu, que le feu descende du ciel et te consume, toi et tes cinquante hommes! Et le feu de Dieu descendit du ciel et le consuma, lui et ses cinquante hommes. (Ⅱ)
- And Elijah answered and said unto them, If I be a man of God, let fire come down from heaven, and consume thee and thy fifty. And the fire of God came down from heaven, and consumed him and his fifty. (Ⅲ)
- καὶ ἀπεκρίθη Ηλιου καὶ ἐλάλησεν πρὸς αὐτὸν καὶ εἰ̃πεν εἰ ἄνθρωπος του̃ θεου̃ ἐγώ εἰμι καταβήσεται πυ̃ρ ἐκ του̃ οὐρανου̃ καὶ καταφάγεταί σε καὶ τοὺς πεντήκοντά σου καὶ κατέβη πυ̃ρ ἐκ του̃ οὐρανου̃ καὶ κατέφαγεν αὐτὸν καὶ τοὺς πεντήκοντα αὐτου̃ (Ⅳ)
- Respondens Elias, ait : Si homo Dei ego sum, descendat ignis de cælo, et devoret te, et quinquaginta tuos. Descendit ergo ignis de cælo, et devoravit illum, et quinquaginta ejus. (Ⅴ)

‫ 13 ׃1   וישב וישלח שר חמשים שלשים וחמשיו ויעל ויבא שר החמשים השלישי ויכרע על ברכיו לנגד אליהו ויתחנן אליו וידבר אליו איש האלהים תיקר נא נפשי ונפש עבדיך אלה חמשים בעיניך ‬
- Achazia envoya de nouveau un troisième chef de cinquante avec ses cinquante hommes. Ce troisième chef de cinquante monta; et à son arrivée, il fléchit les genoux devant Élie, et lui dit en suppliant: Homme de Dieu, que ma vie, je te prie, et que la vie de ces cinquante hommes tes serviteurs soit précieuse à tes yeux! (Ⅱ)
- And he sent again a captain of the third fifty with his fifty. And the third captain of fifty went up, and came and fell on his knees before Elijah, and besought him, and said unto him, O man of God, I pray thee, let my life, and the life of these fifty thy servants, be precious in thy sight. (Ⅲ)
- καὶ προσέθετο ὁ βασιλεὺς ἔτι ἀποστει̃λαι ἡγούμενον πεντηκόνταρχον τρίτον καὶ τοὺς πεντήκοντα αὐτου̃ καὶ ἠ̃λθεν πρὸς αὐτὸν ὁ πεντηκόνταρχος ὁ τρίτος καὶ ἔκαμψεν ἐπὶ τὰ γόνατα αὐτου̃ κατέναντι Ηλιου καὶ ἐδεήθη αὐτου̃ καὶ ἐλάλησεν πρὸς αὐτὸν καὶ εἰ̃πεν ἄνθρωπε του̃ θεου̃ ἐντιμωθήτω δὴ ἡ ψυχή μου καὶ ἡ ψυχὴ τω̃ν δούλων σου τούτων τω̃ν πεντήκοντα ἐν ὀφθαλμοι̃ς σου (Ⅳ)
- Iterum misit principem quinquagenarium tertium, et quinquaginta qui erant cum eo. Qui cum venisset, curvavit genua contra Eliam, et precatus est eum, et ait : Homo Dei, noli despicere animam meam, et animas servorum tuorum qui mecum sunt. (Ⅴ)

‫ 14 ׃1   הנה ירדה אש מן השמים ותאכל את שני שרי החמשים הראשנים ואת חמשיהם ועתה תיקר נפשי בעיניך ס‬
- Voici, le feu est descendu du ciel et a consumé les deux premiers chefs de cinquante et leurs cinquante hommes: mais maintenant, que ma vie soit précieuse à tes yeux! (Ⅱ)
- Behold, there came fire down from heaven, and burnt up the two captains of the former fifties with their fifties: therefore let my life now be precious in thy sight. (Ⅲ)
- ἰδοὺ κατέβη πυ̃ρ ἐκ του̃ οὐρανου̃ καὶ κατέφαγεν τοὺς δύο πεντηκοντάρχους τοὺς πρώτους καὶ τοὺς πεντήκοντα αὐτω̃ν καὶ νυ̃ν ἐντιμωθήτω δὴ ἡ ψυχὴ τω̃ν δούλων σου ἐν ὀφθαλμοι̃ς σου (Ⅳ)
- Ecce descendit ignis de cælo, et devoravit duos principes quinquagenarios primos, et quinquagenos qui cum eis erant : sed nunc obsecro ut miserearis animæ meæ. (Ⅴ)

‫ 15 ׃1   וידבר מלאך יהוה אל אליהו רד אותו אל תירא מפניו ויקם וירד אותו אל המלך ‬
- L'ange de l'Éternel dit à Élie: Descends avec lui, n'aie aucune crainte de lui. Élie se leva et descendit avec lui vers le roi. (Ⅱ)
- And the angel of the LORD said unto Elijah, Go down with him: be not afraid of him. And he arose, and went down with him unto the king. (Ⅲ)
- καὶ ἐλάλησεν ἄγγελος κυρίου πρὸς Ηλιου καὶ εἰ̃πεν κατάβηθι μετ' αὐτου̃ μὴ φοβηθη̨̃ς ἀπὸ προσώπου αὐτω̃ν καὶ ἀνέστη Ηλιου καὶ κατέβη μετ' αὐτου̃ πρὸς τὸν βασιλέα (Ⅳ)
- Locutus est autem angelus Domini ad Eliam, dicens : Descende cum eo : ne timeas. Surrexit igitur, et descendit cum eo ad regem, (Ⅴ)

‫ 16 ׃1   וידבר אליו כה אמר יהוה יען אשר שלחת מלאכים לדרש בבעל זבוב אלהי עקרון המבלי אין אלהים בישראל לדרש בדברו לכן המטה אשר עלית שם לא תרד ממנה כי מות תמות ‬
- Il lui dit: Ainsi parle l'Éternel: Parce que tu as envoyé des messagers pour consulter Baal Zebub, dieu d'Ékron, comme s'il n'y avait en Israël point de Dieu dont on puisse consulter la parole, tu ne descendras pas du lit sur lequel tu es monté, car tu mourras. (Ⅱ)
- And he said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Forasmuch as thou hast sent messengers to enquire of Baalzebub the god of Ekron, is it not because there is no God in Israel to enquire of his word? therefore thou shalt not come down off that bed on which thou art gone up, but shalt surely die. (Ⅲ)
- καὶ ἐλάλησεν πρὸς αὐτὸν καὶ εἰ̃πεν Ηλιου τάδε λέγει κύριος τί ὅτι ἀπέστειλας ἀγγέλους ζητη̃σαι ἐν τη̨̃ Βααλ μυι̃αν θεὸν Ακκαρων οὐχ οὕτως ἡ κλίνη ἐφ' ἡ̃ς ἀνέβης ἐκει̃ οὐ καταβήση̨ ἀπ' αὐτη̃ς ὅτι θανάτω̨ ἀποθανη̨̃ (Ⅳ)
- et locutus est ei : Hæc dicit Dominus : Quia misisti nuntios ad consulendum Beelzebub deum Accaron, quasi non esset Deus in Israël a quo posses interrogare sermonem, ideo de lectulo super quem ascendisti, non descendes, sed morte morieris. (Ⅴ)

‫ 17 ׃1   וימת כדבר יהוה אשר דבר אליהו וימלך יהורם תחתיו פבשנת שתים ליהורם בן יהושפט מלך יהודה כי לא היה לו בן ‬
- Achazia mourut, selon la parole de l'Éternel prononcée par Élie. Et Joram régna à sa place, la seconde année de Joram, fils de Josaphat, roi de Juda; car il n'avait point de fils. (Ⅱ)
- So he died according to the word of the LORD which Elijah had spoken. And Jehoram reigned in his stead in the second year of Jehoram the son of Jehoshaphat king of Judah; because he had no son. (Ⅲ)
- καὶ ἀπέθανεν κατὰ τὸ ῥη̃μα κυρίου ὃ ἐλάλησεν Ηλιου (Ⅳ)
- Mortuus est ergo juxta sermonem Domini quem locutus est Elias, et regnavit Joram frater ejus pro eo, anno secundo Joram filii Josaphat regis Judæ : non enim habebat filium. (Ⅴ)

‫ 18 ׃1   ויתר דברי אחזיהו אשר עשה הלוא המה כתובים על ספר דברי הימים למלכי ישראל פ‬
- Le reste des actions d'Achazia, et ce qu'il a fait, cela n'est-il pas écrit dans le livre des Chroniques des rois d'Israël? (Ⅱ)
- Now the rest of the acts of Ahaziah which he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel? (Ⅲ)
- καὶ τὰ λοιπὰ τω̃ν λόγων Οχοζιου ὅσα ἐποίησεν οὐκ ἰδοὺ ταυ̃τα γεγραμμένα ἐπὶ βιβλίου λόγων τω̃ν ἡμερω̃ν τοι̃ς βασιλευ̃σιν Ισραηλ (Ⅳ)
- Reliqua autem verborum Ochoziæ quæ operatus est, nonne hæc scripta sunt in libro sermonum dierum regum Israël ? (Ⅴ)
