33. 1

Manasseh was twelve years old when he began to reign, and he reigned fifty and five years in Jerusalem:

- Manassé avait douze ans lorsqu'il devint roi, et il régna cinquante-cinq ans à Jérusalem. (Ⅱ)

- ὢν δέκα δύο ἐτω̃ν Μανασσης ἐν τω̨̃ βασιλευ̃σαι αὐτὸν καὶ πεντήκοντα πέντε ἔτη ἐβασίλευσεν ἐν Ιερουσαλημ (Ⅲ)

- Duodecim annorum erat Manasses cum regnare cœpisset, et quinquaginta quinque annis regnavit in Jerusalem. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 1 ׃33 בן שתים עשרה שנה מנשה במלכו וחמשים וחמש שנה מלך בירושלם ‬ (Ⅴ)

33. 2

But did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, like unto the abominations of the heathen, whom the LORD had cast out before the children of Israel.

- Il fit ce qui est mal aux yeux de l'Éternel, selon les abominations des nations que l'Éternel avait chassées devant les enfants d'Israël. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἐποίησεν τὸ πονηρὸν ἐναντίον κυρίου ἀπὸ πάντων τω̃ν βδελυγμάτων τω̃ν ἐθνω̃ν οὓς ἐξωλέθρευσεν κύριος ἀπὸ προσώπου τω̃ν υἱω̃ν Ισραηλ (Ⅲ)

- Fecit autem malum coram Domino, juxta abominationes gentium quas subvertit Dominus coram filiis Israël : (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 2 ׃33 ויעש הרע בעיני יהוה כתועבות הגוים אשר הוריש יהוה מפני בני ישראל ‬ (Ⅴ)

33. 3

For he built again the high places which Hezekiah his father had broken down, and he reared up altars for Baalim, and made groves, and worshipped all the host of heaven, and served them.

- Il rebâtit les hauts lieux qu'Ézéchias, son père, avait renversés; il éleva des autels aux Baals, il fit des idoles d'Astarté, et il se prosterna devant toute l'armée des cieux et la servit. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἐπέστρεψεν καὶ ὠ̨κοδόμησεν τὰ ὑψηλά ἃ κατέσπασεν Εζεκιας ὁ πατὴρ αὐτου̃ καὶ ἔστησεν στήλας ται̃ς Βααλιμ καὶ ἐποίησεν ἄλση καὶ προσεκύνησεν πάση̨ τη̨̃ στρατια̨̃ του̃ οὐρανου̃ καὶ ἐδούλευσεν αὐτοι̃ς (Ⅲ)

- et conversus instauravit excelsa quæ demolitus fuerat Ezechias pater ejus : construxitque aras Baalim, et fecit lucos, et adoravit omnem militiam cæli, et coluit eam. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 3 ׃33 וישב ויבן את הבמות אשר נתץ יחזקיהו אביו ויקם מזבחות לבעלים ויעש אשרות וישתחו לכל צבא השמים ויעבד אתם ‬ (Ⅴ)

33. 4

Also he built altars in the house of the LORD, whereof the LORD had said, In Jerusalem shall my name be for ever.

- Il bâtit des autels dans la maison de l'Éternel, quoique l'Éternel eût dit: C'est dans Jérusalem que sera mon nom à perpétuité. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ὠ̨κοδόμησεν θυσιαστήρια ἐν οἴκω̨ κυρίου οὑ̃ εἰ̃πεν κύριος ἐν Ιερουσαλημ ἔσται τὸ ὄνομά μου εἰς τὸν αἰω̃να (Ⅲ)

- Ædificavit quoque altaria in domo Domini, de qua dixerat Dominus : In Jerusalem erit nomen meum in æternum. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 4 ׃33 ובנה מזבחות בבית יהוה אשר אמר יהוה בירושלם יהיה שמי לעולם ‬ (Ⅴ)

33. 5

And he built altars for all the host of heaven in the two courts of the house of the LORD.

- Il bâtit des autels à toute l'armée des cieux dans les deux parvis de la maison de l'Éternel. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ὠ̨κοδόμησεν θυσιαστήρια πάση̨ τη̨̃ στρατια̨̃ του̃ οὐρανου̃ ἐν ται̃ς δυσὶν αὐλαι̃ς οἴκου κυρίου (Ⅲ)

- Ædificavit autem ea cuncto exercitui cæli in duobus atriis domus Domini. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 5 ׃33 ויבן מזבחות לכל צבא השמים בשתי חצרות בית יהוה ‬ (Ⅴ)

33. 6

And he caused his children to pass through the fire in the valley of the son of Hinnom: also he observed times, and used enchantments, and used witchcraft, and dealt with a familiar spirit, and with wizards: he wrought much evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger.

- Il fit passer ses fils par le feu dans la vallée des fils de Hinnom; il observait les nuages et les serpents pour en tirer des pronostics, il s'adonnait à la magie, et il établit des gens qui évoquaient les esprits et qui prédisaient l'avenir. Il fit de plus en plus ce qui est mal aux yeux de l'Éternel, afin de l'irriter. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ αὐτὸς διήγαγεν τὰ τέκνα αὐτου̃ ἐν πυρὶ ἐν Γαι-βαναι-εννομ καὶ ἐκληδονίζετο καὶ οἰωνίζετο καὶ ἐφαρμακεύετο καὶ ἐποίησεν ἐγγαστριμύθους καὶ ἐπαοιδούς ἐπλήθυνεν του̃ ποιη̃σαι τὸ πονηρὸν ἐναντίον κυρίου του̃ παροργίσαι αὐτόν (Ⅲ)

- Transireque fecit filios suos per ignem in valle Benennom : observabat somnia, sectabatur auguria, maleficis artibus inserviebat, habebat secum magos et incantatores, multaque mala operatus est coram Domino ut irritaret eum. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 6 ׃33 והוא העביר את בניו באש בגי בן הנם ועונן ונחש וכשף ועשה אוב וידעוני הרבה לעשות הרע בעיני יהוה להכעיסו ‬ (Ⅴ)

33. 7

And he set a carved image, the idol which he had made, in the house of God, of which God had said to David and to Solomon his son, In this house, and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen before all the tribes of Israel, will I put my name for ever:

- Il plaça l'image taillée de l'idole qu'il avait faite dans la maison de Dieu, de laquelle Dieu avait dit à David et à Salomon, son fils: C'est dans cette maison, et c'est dans Jérusalem que j'ai choisie parmi toutes les tribus d'Israël, que je veux à toujours placer mon nom. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἔθηκεν τὸ γλυπτὸν καὶ τὸ χωνευτόν εἰκόνα ἣν ἐποίησεν ἐν οἴκω̨ θεου̃ οὑ̃ εἰ̃πεν ὁ θεὸς πρὸς Δαυιδ καὶ πρὸς Σαλωμων υἱὸν αὐτου̃ ἐν τω̨̃ οἴκω̨ τούτω̨ καὶ Ιερουσαλημ ἣν ἐξελεξάμην ἐκ πασω̃ν φυλω̃ν Ισραηλ θήσω τὸ ὄνομά μου εἰς τὸν αἰω̃να (Ⅲ)

- Sculptile quoque et conflatile signum posuit in domo Dei, de qua locutus est Deus ad David, et ad Salomonem filium ejus, dicens : In domo hac, et in Jerusalem quam elegi de cunctis tribubus Israël, ponam nomen meum in sempiternum. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 7 ׃33 וישם את פסל הסמל אשר עשה בבית האלהים אשר אמר אלהים אל דויד ואל שלמה בנו בבית הזה ובירושלם אשר בחרתי מכל שבטי ישראל אשים את שמי לעילום ‬ (Ⅴ)

33. 8

Neither will I any more remove the foot of Israel from out of the land which I have appointed for your fathers; so that they will take heed to do all that I have commanded them, according to the whole law and the statutes and the ordinances by the hand of Moses.

- Je ne ferai plus sortir Israël du pays que j'ai destiné à vos pères, pourvu seulement qu'ils aient soin de mettre en pratique tout ce que je leur ai commandé, selon toute la loi, les préceptes et les ordonnances prescrits par Moïse. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ οὐ προσθήσω σαλευ̃σαι τὸν πόδα Ισραηλ ἀπὸ τη̃ς γη̃ς ἡ̃ς ἔδωκα τοι̃ς πατράσιν αὐτω̃ν πλὴν ἐὰν φυλάσσωνται του̃ ποιη̃σαι πάντα ἃ ἐνετειλάμην αὐτοι̃ς κατὰ πάντα τὸν νόμον καὶ τὰ προστάγματα καὶ τὰ κρίματα ἐν χειρὶ Μωυση̃ (Ⅲ)

- Et moveri non faciam pedem Israël de terra quam tradidi patribus eorum : ita dumtaxat si custodierint facere quæ præcepi eis, cunctamque legem, et cæremonias atque judicia, per manum Moysi. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 8 ׃33 ולא אוסיף להסיר את רגל ישראל מעל האדמה אשר העמדתי לאבתיכם רק אם ישמרו לעשות את כל אשר צויתים לכל התורה והחקים והמשפטים ביד משה ‬ (Ⅴ)

33. 9

So Manasseh made Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem to err, and to do worse than the heathen, whom the LORD had destroyed before the children of Israel.

- Mais Manassé fut cause que Juda et les habitants de Jérusalem s'égarèrent et firent le mal plus que les nations que l'Éternel avait détruites devant les enfants d'Israël. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἐπλάνησεν Μανασσης τὸν Ιουδαν καὶ τοὺς κατοικου̃ντας ἐν Ιερουσαλημ του̃ ποιη̃σαι τὸ πονηρὸν ὑπὲρ πάντα τὰ ἔθνη ἃ ἐξη̃ρεν κύριος ἀπὸ προσώπου υἱω̃ν Ισραηλ (Ⅲ)

- Igitur Manasses seduxit Judam, et habitatores Jerusalem, ut facerent malum super omnes gentes quas subverterat Dominus a facie filiorum Israël. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 9 ׃33 ויתע מנשה את יהודה וישבי ירושלם לעשות רע מן הגוים אשר השמיד יהוה מפני בני ישראל פ‬ (Ⅴ)

33. 10

And the LORD spake to Manasseh, and to his people: but they would not hearken.

- L'Éternel parla à Manassé et à son peuple, et ils n'y firent point attention. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος ἐπὶ Μανασση καὶ ἐπὶ τὸν λαὸν αὐτου̃ καὶ οὐκ ἐπήκουσαν (Ⅲ)

- Locutusque est Dominus ad eum, et ad populum illius, et attendere noluerunt. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 10 ׃33 וידבר יהוה אל מנשה ואל עמו ולא הקשיבו ‬ (Ⅴ)

33. 11

Wherefore the LORD brought upon them the captains of the host of the king of Assyria, which took Manasseh among the thorns, and bound him with fetters, and carried him to Babylon.

- Alors l'Éternel fit venir contre eux les chefs de l'armée du roi d'Assyrie, qui saisirent Manassé et le mirent dans les fers; ils le lièrent avec des chaînes d'airain, et le menèrent à Babylone. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἤγαγεν κύριος ἐπ' αὐτοὺς τοὺς ἄρχοντας τη̃ς δυνάμεως βασιλέως Ασσουρ καὶ κατέλαβον τὸν Μανασση ἐν δεσμοι̃ς καὶ ἔδησαν αὐτὸν ἐν πέδαις καὶ ἤγαγον εἰς Βαβυλω̃να (Ⅲ)

- Idcirco superinduxit eis principes exercitus regis Assyriorum : ceperuntque Manassen, et vinctum catenis atque compedibus duxerunt in Babylonem.\ (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 11 ׃33 ויבא יהוה עליהם את שרי הצבא אשר למלך אשור וילכדו את מנשה בחחים ויאסרהו בנחשתים ויוליכהו בבלה ‬ (Ⅴ)

33. 12

And when he was in affliction, he besought the LORD his God, and humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers,

- Lorsqu'il fut dans la détresse, il implora l'Éternel, son Dieu, et il s'humilia profondément devant le Dieu de ses pères. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ὡς ἐθλίβη ἐζήτησεν τὸ πρόσωπον κυρίου του̃ θεου̃ αὐτου̃ καὶ ἐταπεινώθη σφόδρα ἀπὸ προσώπου θεου̃ τω̃ν πατέρων αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ)

- Qui postquam coangustatus est, oravit Dominum Deum suum : et egit pœnitentiam valde coram Deo patrum suorum. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 12 ׃33 וכהצר לו חלה את פני יהוה אלהיו ויכנע מאד מלפני אלהי אבתיו ‬ (Ⅴ)

33. 13

And prayed unto him: and he was intreated of him, and heard his supplication, and brought him again to Jerusalem into his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that the LORD he was God.

- Il lui adressa ses prières; et l'Éternel, se laissant fléchir, exauça ses supplications, et le ramena à Jérusalem dans son royaume. Et Manassé reconnut que l'Éternel est Dieu. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ προσηύξατο πρὸς αὐτόν καὶ ἐπήκουσεν αὐτου̃ καὶ ἐπήκουσεν τη̃ς βοη̃ς αὐτου̃ καὶ ἐπέστρεψεν αὐτὸν εἰς Ιερουσαλημ ἐπὶ τὴν βασιλείαν αὐτου̃ καὶ ἔγνω Μανασσης ὅτι κύριος αὐτός ἐστιν ὁ θεός (Ⅲ)

- Deprecatusque est eum, et obsecravit intente : et exaudivit orationem ejus, reduxitque eum Jerusalem in regnum suum, et cognovit Manasses quod Dominus ipse esset Deus. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 13 ׃33 ויתפלל אליו ויעתר לו וישמע תחנתו וישיבהו ירושלם למלכותו וידע מנשה כי יהוה הוא האלהים ‬ (Ⅴ)

33. 14

Now after this he built a wall without the city of David, on the west side of Gihon, in the valley, even to the entering in at the fish gate, and compassed about Ophel, and raised it up a very great height, and put captains of war in all the fenced cities of Judah.

- Après cela, il bâtit en dehors de la ville de David, à l'occident, vers Guihon dans la vallée, un mur qui se prolongeait jusqu'à la porte des poissons et dont il entoura la colline, et il s'éleva à une grande hauteur; il mit aussi des chefs militaires dans toutes les villes fortes de Juda. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ μετὰ ταυ̃τα ὠ̨κοδόμησεν τει̃χος ἔξω τη̃ς πόλεως Δαυιδ ἀπὸ λιβὸς κατὰ Γιων ἐν τω̨̃ χειμάρρω̨ καὶ ἐκπορευομένων τὴν πύλην τὴν κυκλόθεν καὶ εἰς τὸ Οφλα καὶ ὕψωσεν σφόδρα καὶ κατέστησεν ἄρχοντας τη̃ς δυνάμεως ἐν πάσαις ται̃ς πόλεσιν ται̃ς τειχήρεσιν ἐν Ιουδα (Ⅲ)

- Post hæc ædificavit murum extra civitatem David ad occidentem Gihon in convalle, ab introitu portæ piscium per circuitum usque ad Ophel, et exaltavit illum vehementer : constituitque principes exercitus in cunctis civitatibus Juda munitis : (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 14 ׃33 ואחרי כן בנה חומה חיצונה לעיר דויד מערבה לגיחון בנחל ולבוא בשער הדגים וסבב לעפל ויגביהה מאד וישם שרי חיל בכל הערים הבצרות ביהודה ‬ (Ⅴ)

33. 15

And he took away the strange gods, and the idol out of the house of the LORD, and all the altars that he had built in the mount of the house of the LORD, and in Jerusalem, and cast them out of the city.

- Il fit disparaître de la maison de l'Éternel les dieux étrangers et l'idole, et il renversa tous les autels qu'il avait bâtis sur la montagne de la maison de l'Éternel et à Jérusalem; et il les jeta hors de la ville. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ περιει̃λεν τοὺς θεοὺς τοὺς ἀλλοτρίους καὶ τὸ γλυπτὸν ἐξ οἴκου κυρίου καὶ πάντα τὰ θυσιαστήρια ἃ ὠ̨κοδόμησεν ἐν ὄρει οἴκου κυρίου καὶ ἐν Ιερουσαλημ καὶ ἔξω τη̃ς πόλεως (Ⅲ)

- et abstulit deos alienos, et simulacrum de domo Domini : aras quoque, quas fecerat in monte domus Domini et in Jerusalem : et projecit omnia extra urbem. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 15 ׃33 ויסר את אלהי הנכר ואת הסמל מבית יהוה וכל המזבחות אשר בנה בהר בית יהוה ובירושלם וישלך חוצה לעיר ‬ (Ⅴ)

33. 16

And he repaired the altar of the LORD, and sacrificed thereon peace offerings and thank offerings, and commanded Judah to serve the LORD God of Israel.

- Il rétablit l'autel de l'Éternel et y offrit des sacrifices d'actions de grâces et de reconnaissance, et il ordonna à Juda de servir l'Éternel, le Dieu d'Israël. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ κατώρθωσεν τὸ θυσιαστήριον κυρίου καὶ ἐθυσίασεν ἐπ' αὐτὸ θυσίαν σωτηρίου καὶ αἰνέσεως καὶ εἰ̃πεν τω̨̃ Ιουδα του̃ δουλεύειν κυρίω̨ θεω̨̃ Ισραηλ (Ⅲ)

- Porro instauravit altare Domini, et immolavit super illud victimas, et pacifica, et laudem : præcepitque Judæ ut serviret Domino Deo Israël. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 16 ׃33 *ויכן **ויבן את מזבח יהוה ויזבח עליו זבחי שלמים ותודה ויאמר ליהודה לעבוד את יהוה אלהי ישראל ‬ (Ⅴ)

33. 17

Nevertheless the people did sacrifice still in the high places, yet unto the LORD their God only.

- Le peuple sacrifiait bien encore sur les hauts lieux, mais seulement à l'Éternel, son Dieu. (Ⅱ)

- πλὴν ὁ λαὸς ἔτι ἐπὶ τω̃ν ὑψηλω̃ν πλὴν κύριος ὁ θεὸς αὐτω̃ν (Ⅲ)

- Attamen adhuc populus immolabat in excelsis Domino Deo suo. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 17 ׃33 אבל עוד העם זבחים בבמות רק ליהוה אלהיהם ‬ (Ⅴ)

33. 18

Now the rest of the acts of Manasseh, and his prayer unto his God, and the words of the seers that spake to him in the name of the LORD God of Israel, behold, they are written in the book of the kings of Israel.

- Le reste des actions de Manassé, sa prière à son Dieu, et les paroles des prophètes qui lui parlèrent au nom de l'Éternel, le Dieu d'Israël, cela est écrit dans les actes des rois d'Israël. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ τὰ λοιπὰ τω̃ν λόγων Μανασση καὶ ἡ προσευχὴ αὐτου̃ ἡ πρὸς τὸν θεὸν καὶ λόγοι τω̃ν ὁρώντων λαλούντων πρὸς αὐτὸν ἐπ' ὀνόματι κυρίου θεου̃ Ισραηλ ἰδοὺ ἐπὶ λόγων (Ⅲ)

- Reliqua autem gestorum Manasse, et obsecratio ejus ad Deum suum, verba quoque videntium qui loquebantur ad eum in nomine Domini Dei Israël, continentur in sermonibus regum Israël. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 18 ׃33 ויתר דברי מנשה ותפלתו אל אלהיו ודברי החזים המדברים אליו בשם יהוה אלהי ישראל הנם על דברי מלכי ישראל ‬ (Ⅴ)

33. 19

His prayer also, and how God was intreated of him, and all his sins, and his trespass, and the places wherein he built high places, and set up groves and graven images, before he was humbled: behold, they are written among the sayings of the seers.

- Sa prière et la manière dont Dieu l'exauça, ses péchés et ses infidélités, les places où il bâtit des hauts lieux et dressa des idoles et des images taillées avant de s'être humilié, cela est écrit dans le livre de Hozaï. (Ⅱ)

- προσευχη̃ς αὐτου̃ καὶ ὡς ἐπήκουσεν αὐτου̃ καὶ πα̃σαι αἱ ἁμαρτίαι αὐτου̃ καὶ αἱ ἀποστάσεις αὐτου̃ καὶ οἱ τόποι ἐφ' οἱ̃ς ὠ̨κοδόμησεν τὰ ὑψηλὰ καὶ ἔστησεν ἐκει̃ ἄλση καὶ γλυπτὰ πρὸ του̃ ἐπιστρέψαι ἰδοὺ γέγραπται ἐπὶ τω̃ν λόγων τω̃ν ὁρώντων (Ⅲ)

- Oratio quoque ejus et exauditio, et cuncta peccata atque contemptus, loca etiam in quibus ædificavit excelsa, et fecit lucos et statuas antequam ageret pœnitentiam, scripta sunt in sermonibus Hozai. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 19 ׃33 ותפלתו והעתר לו וכל חטאתו ומעלו והמקמות אשר בנה בהם במות והעמיד האשרים והפסלים לפני הכנעו הנם כתובים על דברי חוזי ‬ (Ⅴ)

33. 20

So Manasseh slept with his fathers, and they buried him in his own house: and Amon his son reigned in his stead.

- Manassé se coucha avec ses pères, et on l'enterra dans sa maison. Et Amon, son fils, régna à sa place. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἐκοιμήθη Μανασσης μετὰ τω̃ν πατέρων αὐτου̃ καὶ ἔθαψαν αὐτὸν ἐν παραδείσω̨ οἴκου αὐτου̃ καὶ ἐβασίλευσεν ἀντ' αὐτου̃ Αμων υἱὸς αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ)

- Dormivit ergo Manasses cum patribus suis, et sepelierunt eum in domo sua : regnavitque pro eo filius ejus Amon.\ (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 20 ׃33 וישכב מנשה עם אבתיו ויקברהו ביתו וימלך אמון בנו תחתיו פ‬ (Ⅴ)

33. 21

Amon was two and twenty years old when he began to reign, and reigned two years in Jerusalem.

- Amon avait vingt-deux ans lorsqu'il devint roi, et il régna deux ans à Jérusalem. (Ⅱ)

- ὢν εἴκοσι καὶ δύο ἐτω̃ν Αμων ἐν τω̨̃ βασιλεύειν αὐτὸν καὶ δύο ἔτη ἐβασίλευσεν ἐν Ιερουσαλημ (Ⅲ)

- Viginti duorum annorum erat Amon cum regnare cœpisset, et duobus annis regnavit in Jerusalem. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 21 ׃33 בן עשרים ושתים שנה אמון במלכו ושתים שנים מלך בירושלם ‬ (Ⅴ)

33. 22

But he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, as did Manasseh his father: for Amon sacrificed unto all the carved images which Manasseh his father had made, and served them;

- Il fit ce qui est mal aux yeux de l'Éternel, comme avait fait Manassé, son père; il sacrifia à toutes les images taillées qu'avait faites Manassé, son père, et il les servit; (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἐποίησεν τὸ πονηρὸν ἐνώπιον κυρίου ὡς ἐποίησεν Μανασσης ὁ πατὴρ αὐτου̃ καὶ πα̃σιν τοι̃ς εἰδώλοις οἱ̃ς ἐποίησεν Μανασσης ὁ πατὴρ αὐτου̃ ἔθυεν Αμων καὶ ἐδούλευσεν αὐτοι̃ς (Ⅲ)

- Fecitque malum in conspectu Domini, sicut fecerat Manasses pater ejus : et cunctis idolis quæ Manasses fuerat fabricatus, immolavit atque servivit. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 22 ׃33 ויעש הרע בעיני יהוה כאשר עשה מנשה אביו ולכל הפסילים אשר עשה מנשה אביו זבח אמון ויעבדם ‬ (Ⅴ)

33. 23

And humbled not himself before the LORD, as Manasseh his father had humbled himself; but Amon trespassed more and more.

- et il ne s'humilia pas devant l'Éternel, comme s'était humilié Manassé, son père, car lui, Amon, se rendit de plus en plus coupable. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ οὐκ ἐταπεινώθη ἐναντίον κυρίου ὡς ἐταπεινώθη Μανασσης ὁ πατὴρ αὐτου̃ ὅτι υἱὸς αὐτου̃ Αμων ἐπλήθυνεν πλημμέλειαν (Ⅲ)

- Et non est reveritus faciem Domini, sicut reveritus est Manasses pater ejus, et multo majora deliquit. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 23 ׃33 ולא נכנע מלפני יהוה כהכנע מנשה אביו כי הוא אמון הרבה אשמה ‬ (Ⅴ)

33. 24

And his servants conspired against him, and slew him in his own house.

- Ses serviteurs conspirèrent contre lui, et le firent mourir dans sa maison. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἐπέθεντο αὐτω̨̃ οἱ παι̃δες αὐτου̃ καὶ ἐπάταξαν αὐτὸν ἐν οἴκω̨ αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ)

- Cumque conjurassent adversus eum servi sui, interfecerunt eum in domo sua. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 24 ׃33 ויקשרו עליו עבדיו וימיתהו בביתו ‬ (Ⅴ)

33. 25

But the people of the land slew all them that had conspired against king Amon; and the people of the land made Josiah his son king in his stead.

- Mais le peuple du pays frappa tous ceux qui avaient conspiré contre le roi Amon; et le peuple du pays établit roi Josias, son fils, à sa place. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἐπάταξεν ὁ λαὸς τη̃ς γη̃ς τοὺς ἐπιθεμένους ἐπὶ τὸν βασιλέα Αμων καὶ ἐβασίλευσεν ὁ λαὸς τη̃ς γη̃ς τὸν Ιωσιαν υἱὸν αὐτου̃ ἀντ' αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ)

- Porro reliqua populi multitudo, cæsis iis qui Amon percusserant, constituit regem Josiam filium ejus pro eo. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 25 ׃33 ויכו עם הארץ את כל הקשרים על המלך אמון וימליכו עם הארץ את יאשיהו בנו תחתיו פ‬ (Ⅴ)
