36. 1  
Then the people of the land took Jehoahaz the son of Josiah, and made him king in his father's stead in Jerusalem.
- Le peuple du pays prit Joachaz, fils de Josias, et l'établit roi à la place de son père à Jérusalem. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ ἔλαβεν ὁ λαὸς τη̃ς γη̃ς τὸν Ιωαχαζ υἱὸν Ιωσιου καὶ ἔχρισαν αὐτὸν καὶ κατέστησαν αὐτὸν εἰς βασιλέα ἀντὶ του̃ πατρὸς αὐτου̃ ἐν Ιερουσαλημ (Ⅲ)
- Tulit ergo populus terræ Joachaz filium Josiæ, et constituit regem pro patre suo in Jerusalem. (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 1  ׃36  ויקחו עם הארץ את יהואחז בן יאשיהו וימליכהו תחת אביו בירושלם ‬ (Ⅴ)
36. 2  
Jehoahaz was twenty and three years old when he began to reign, and he reigned three months in Jerusalem.
- Joachaz avait vingt-trois ans lorsqu'il devint roi, et il régna trois mois à Jérusalem. (Ⅱ)
- υἱὸς εἴκοσι καὶ τριω̃ν ἐτω̃ν Ιωαχαζ ἐν τω̨̃ βασιλεύειν αὐτὸν καὶ τρίμηνον ἐβασίλευσεν ἐν Ιερουσαλημ (Ⅲ)
- Viginti trium annorum erat Joachaz cum regnare cœpisset, et tribus mensibus regnavit in Jerusalem. (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 2  ׃36  בן שלוש ועשרים שנה יואחז במלכו ושלשה חדשים מלך בירושלם ‬ (Ⅴ)
36. 3  
And the king of Egypt put him down at Jerusalem, and condemned the land in an hundred talents of silver and a talent of gold.
- Le roi d'Égypte le destitua à Jérusalem, et frappa le pays d'une contribution de cent talents d'argent et d'un talent d'or. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ μετήγαγεν αὐτὸν ὁ βασιλεὺς εἰς Αἴγυπτον καὶ ἐπέβαλεν φόρον ἐπὶ τὴν γη̃ν ἑκατὸν τάλαντα ἀργυρίου καὶ τάλαντον χρυσίου (Ⅲ)
- Amovit autem eum rex Ægypti cum venisset in Jerusalem, et condemnavit terram centum talentis argenti, et talento auri. (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 3  ׃36  ויסירהו מלך מצרים בירושלם ויענש את הארץ מאה ככר כסף וככר זהב ‬ (Ⅴ)
36. 4  
And the king of Egypt made Eliakim his brother king over Judah and Jerusalem, and turned his name to Jehoiakim. And Necho took Jehoahaz his brother, and carried him to Egypt.
- Et le roi d'Égypte établit roi sur Juda et sur Jérusalem Éliakim, frère de Joachaz; et il changea son nom en celui de Jojakim. Néco prit son frère Joachaz, et l'emmena en Égypte. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ κατέστησεν Φαραω Νεχαω τὸν Ελιακιμ υἱὸν Ιωσιου βασιλέα Ιουδα ἀντὶ Ιωσιου του̃ πατρὸς αὐτου̃ καὶ μετέστρεψεν τὸ ὄνομα αὐτου̃ Ιωακιμ καὶ τὸν Ιωαχαζ ἀδελφὸν αὐτου̃ ἔλαβεν Φαραω Νεχαω καὶ εἰσήγαγεν αὐτὸν εἰς Αἴγυπτον καὶ ἀπέθανεν ἐκει̃ (Ⅲ)
- Constituitque pro eo regem Eliakim fratrem ejus super Judam et Jerusalem, et vertit nomen ejus Joakim : ipsum vero Joachaz tulit secum, et abduxit in Ægyptum.\ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 4  ׃36  וימלך מלך מצרים את אליקים אחיו על יהודה וירושלם ויסב את שמו יהויקים ואת יואחז אחיו לקח נכו ויביאהו מצרימה פ‬ (Ⅴ)
36. 5  
Jehoiakim was twenty and five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned eleven years in Jerusalem: and he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD his God.
- Jojakim avait vingt-cinq ans lorsqu'il devint roi, et il régna onze ans à Jérusalem. (Ⅱ)
- ὢν εἴκοσι καὶ πέντε ἐτω̃ν Ιωακιμ ἐν τω̨̃ βασιλεύειν αὐτὸν καὶ ἕνδεκα ἔτη ἐβασίλευσεν ἐν Ιερουσαλημ καὶ ὄνομα τη̃ς μητρὸς αὐτου̃ Ζεχωρα θυγάτηρ Νηριου ἐκ Ραμα καὶ ἐποίησεν τὸ πονηρὸν ἐναντίον κυρίου κατὰ πάντα ὅσα ἐποίησαν οἱ πατέρες αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ)
- Viginti quinque annorum erat Joakim cum regnare cœpisset, et undecim annis regnavit in Jerusalem : fecitque malum coram Domino Deo suo. (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 5  ׃36  בן עשרים וחמש שנה יהויקים במלכו ואחת עשרה שנה מלך בירושלם ויעש הרע בעיני יהוה אלהיו ‬ (Ⅴ)
36. 6  
Against him came up Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and bound him in fetters, to carry him to Babylon.
- Nebucadnetsar, roi de Babylone, monta contre lui, et le lia avec des chaînes d'airain pour le conduire à Babylone. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ ἀνέβη ἐπ' αὐτὸν Ναβουχοδονοσορ βασιλεὺς Βαβυλω̃νος καὶ ἔδησεν αὐτὸν ἐν χαλκαι̃ς πέδαις καὶ ἀπήγαγεν αὐτὸν εἰς Βαβυλω̃να (Ⅲ)
- Contra hunc ascendit Nabuchodonosor rex Chaldæorum, et vinctum catenis duxit in Babylonem. (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 6  ׃36  עליו עלה נבוכדנאצר מלך בבל ויאסרהו בנחשתים להליכו בבלה ‬ (Ⅴ)
36. 7  
Nebuchadnezzar also carried of the vessels of the house of the LORD to Babylon, and put them in his temple at Babylon.
- Nebucadnetsar emporta à Babylone des ustensiles de la maison de l'Éternel, et il les mit dans son palais à Babylone. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ μέρος τω̃ν σκευω̃ν οἴκου κυρίου ἀπήνεγκεν εἰς Βαβυλω̃να καὶ ἔθηκεν αὐτὰ ἐν τω̨̃ ναω̨̃ αὐτου̃ ἐν Βαβυλω̃νι (Ⅲ)
- Ad quam et vasa Domini transtulit, et posuit ea in templo suo. (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 7  ׃36  ומכלי בית יהוה הביא נבוכדנאצר לבבל ויתנם בהיכלו בבבל ‬ (Ⅴ)
36. 8  
Now the rest of the acts of Jehoiakim, and his abominations which he did, and that which was found in him, behold, they are written in the book of the kings of Israel and Judah: and Jehoiachin his son reigned in his stead.
- Le reste des actions de Jojakim, les abominations qu'il commit, et ce qui se trouvait en lui, cela est écrit dans le livre des rois d'Israël et de Juda. Et Jojakin, son fils, régna à sa place. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ τὰ λοιπὰ τω̃ν λόγων Ιωακιμ καὶ πάντα ἃ ἐποίησεν οὐκ ἰδοὺ ταυ̃τα γεγραμμένα ἐπὶ βιβλίω̨ λόγων τω̃ν ἡμερω̃ν τοι̃ς βασιλευ̃σιν Ιουδα καὶ ἐκοιμήθη Ιωακιμ μετὰ τω̃ν πατέρων αὐτου̃ καὶ ἐτάφη ἐν Γανοζα μετὰ τω̃ν πατέρων αὐτου̃ καὶ ἐβασίλευσεν Ιεχονιας υἱὸς αὐτου̃ ἀντ' αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ)
- Reliqua autem verborum Joakim, et abominationum ejus quas operatus est, et quæ inventa sunt in eo, continentur in libro regum Juda et Israël. Regnavit autem Joachin filius ejus pro eo.\ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 8  ׃36  ויתר דברי יהויקים ותעבתיו אשר עשה והנמצא עליו הנם כתובים על ספר מלכי ישראל ויהודה וימלך יהויכין בנו תחתיו פ‬ (Ⅴ)
36. 9  
Jehoiachin was eight years old when he began to reign, and he reigned three months and ten days in Jerusalem: and he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD.
- Jojakin avait huit ans lorsqu'il devint roi, et il régna trois mois et dix jours à Jérusalem. Il fit ce qui est mal aux yeux de l'Éternel. (Ⅱ)
- υἱὸς ὀκτωκαίδεκα ἐτω̃ν Ιεχονιας ἐν τω̨̃ βασιλεύειν αὐτὸν καὶ τρίμηνον καὶ δέκα ἡμέρας ἐβασίλευσεν ἐν Ιερουσαλημ καὶ ἐποίησεν τὸ πονηρὸν ἐνώπιον κυρίου (Ⅲ)
- Octo annorum erat Joachin cum regnare cœpisset, et tribus mensibus ac decem diebus regnavit in Jerusalem : fecitque malum in conspectu Domini. (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 9  ׃36  בן שמונה שנים יהויכין במלכו ושלשה חדשים ועשרת ימים מלך בירושלם ויעש הרע בעיני יהוה ‬ (Ⅴ)
36. 10  
And when the year was expired, king Nebuchadnezzar sent, and brought him to Babylon, with the goodly vessels of the house of the LORD, and made Zedekiah his brother king over Judah and Jerusalem.
- L'année suivante, le roi Nebucadnetsar le fit emmener à Babylone avec les ustensiles précieux de la maison de l'Éternel. Et il établit roi sur Juda et sur Jérusalem Sédécias, frère de Jojakin. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ ἐπιστρέφοντος του̃ ἐνιαυτου̃ ἀπέστειλεν ὁ βασιλεὺς Ναβουχοδονοσορ καὶ εἰσήνεγκεν αὐτὸν εἰς Βαβυλω̃να μετὰ τω̃ν σκευω̃ν τω̃ν ἐπιθυμητω̃ν οἴκου κυρίου καὶ ἐβασίλευσεν Σεδεκιαν ἀδελφὸν του̃ πατρὸς αὐτου̃ ἐπὶ Ιουδαν καὶ Ιερουσαλημ (Ⅲ)
- Cumque anni circulus volveretur, misit Nabuchodonosor rex, qui adduxerunt eum in Babylonem, asportatis simul pretiosissimis vasis domus Domini. Regem vero constituit Sedeciam patruum ejus super Judam et Jerusalem.\ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 10 ׃36  ולתשובת השנה שלח המלך נבוכדנאצר ויבאהו בבלה עם כלי חמדת בית יהוה וימלך את צדקיהו אחיו על יהודה וירושלם פ‬ (Ⅴ)
36. 11  
Zedekiah was one and twenty years old when he began to reign, and reigned eleven years in Jerusalem.
- Sédécias avait vingt et un ans lorsqu'il devint roi, et il régna onze ans à Jérusalem. (Ⅱ)
- ἐτω̃ν εἴκοσι ἑνὸς Σεδεκιας ἐν τω̨̃ βασιλεύειν αὐτὸν καὶ ἕνδεκα ἔτη ἐβασίλευσεν ἐν Ιερουσαλημ (Ⅲ)
- Viginti et unius anni erat Sedecias cum regnare cœpisset, et undecim annis regnavit in Jerusalem : (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 11 ׃36  בן עשרים ואחת שנה צדקיהו במלכו ואחת עשרה שנה מלך בירושלם ‬ (Ⅴ)
36. 12  
And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD his God, and humbled not himself before Jeremiah the prophet speaking from the mouth of the LORD.
- Il fit ce qui est mal aux yeux de l'Éternel, son Dieu; et il ne s'humilia point devant Jérémie, le prophète, qui lui parlait de la part de l'Éternel. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ ἐποίησεν τὸ πονηρὸν ἐνώπιον κυρίου θεου̃ αὐτου̃ οὐκ ἐνετράπη ἀπὸ προσώπου Ιερεμιου του̃ προφήτου καὶ ἐκ στόματος κυρίου (Ⅲ)
- fecitque malum in oculis Domini Dei sui, nec erubuit faciem Jeremiæ prophetæ, loquentis ad se ex ore Domini. (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 12 ׃36  ויעש הרע בעיני יהוה אלהיו לא נכנע מלפני ירמיהו הנביא מפי יהוה ‬ (Ⅴ)
36. 13  
And he also rebelled against king Nebuchadnezzar, who had made him swear by God: but he stiffened his neck, and hardened his heart from turning unto the LORD God of Israel.
- Il se révolta même contre le roi Nebucadnetsar, qui l'avait fait jurer par le nom de Dieu; et il raidit son cou et endurcit son coeur, au point de ne pas retourner à l'Éternel, le Dieu d'Israël. (Ⅱ)
- ἐν τω̨̃ τὰ πρὸς τὸν βασιλέα Ναβουχοδονοσορ ἀθετη̃σαι ἃ ὥρκισεν αὐτὸν κατὰ του̃ θεου̃ καὶ ἐσκλήρυνεν τὸν τράχηλον αὐτου̃ καὶ τὴν καρδίαν αὐτου̃ κατίσχυσεν του̃ μὴ ἐπιστρέψαι πρὸς κύριον θεὸν Ισραηλ (Ⅲ)
- A rege quoque Nabuchodonosor recessit, qui adjuraverat eum per Deum : et induravit cervicem suam et cor ut non reverteretur ad Dominum Deum Israël. (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 13 ׃36  וגם במלך נבוכדנאצר מרד אשר השביעו באלהים ויקש את ערפו ויאמץ את לבבו משוב אל יהוה אלהי ישראל ‬ (Ⅴ)
36. 14  
Moreover all the chief of the priests, and the people, transgressed very much after all the abominations of the heathen; and polluted the house of the LORD which he had hallowed in Jerusalem.
- Tous les chefs des sacrificateurs et le peuple multiplièrent aussi les transgressions, selon toutes les abominations des nations; et ils profanèrent la maison de l'Éternel, qu'il avait sanctifiée à Jérusalem. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ πάντες οἱ ἔνδοξοι Ιουδα καὶ οἱ ἱερει̃ς καὶ ὁ λαὸς τη̃ς γη̃ς ἐπλήθυναν του̃ ἀθετη̃σαι ἀθετήματα βδελυγμάτων ἐθνω̃ν καὶ ἐμίαναν τὸν οἰ̃κον κυρίου τὸν ἐν Ιερουσαλημ (Ⅲ)
- Sed et universi principes sacerdotum et populus prævaricati sunt inique juxta universas abominationes gentium, et polluerunt domum Domini quam sanctificaverat sibi in Jerusalem. (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 14 ׃36  גם כל שרי הכהנים והעם הרבו למעול מעל‪[n]‬‪[q]‬ ככל תעבות הגוים ויטמאו את בית יהוה אשר הקדיש בירושלם ‬ (Ⅴ)
36. 15  
And the LORD God of their fathers sent to them by his messengers, rising up betimes, and sending; because he had compassion on his people, and on his dwelling place:
- L'Éternel, le Dieu de leurs pères, donna de bonne heure à ses envoyés la mission de les avertir, car il voulait épargner son peuple et sa propre demeure. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ ἐξαπέστειλεν κύριος ὁ θεὸς τω̃ν πατέρων αὐτω̃ν ἐν χειρὶ προφητω̃ν ὀρθρίζων καὶ ἀποστέλλων τοὺς ἀγγέλους αὐτου̃ ὅτι ἠ̃ν φειδόμενος του̃ λαου̃ αὐτου̃ καὶ του̃ ἁγιάσματος αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ)
- Mittebat autem Dominus Deus patrum suorum ad illos per manum nuntiorum suorum de nocte consurgens, et quotidie commonens : eo quod parceret populo et habitaculo suo. (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 15 ׃36  וישלח יהוה אלהי אבותיהם עליהם ביד מלאכיו השכם ושלוח כי חמל על עמו ועל מעונו ‬ (Ⅴ)
36. 16  
But they mocked the messengers of God, and despised his words, and misused his prophets, until the wrath of the LORD arose against his people, till there was no remedy.
- Mais ils se moquèrent des envoyés de Dieu, ils méprisèrent ses paroles, et ils se raillèrent de ses prophètes, jusqu'à ce que la colère de l'Éternel contre son peuple devînt sans remède. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ ἠ̃σαν μυκτηρίζοντες τοὺς ἀγγέλους αὐτου̃ καὶ ἐξουδενου̃ντες τοὺς λόγους αὐτου̃ καὶ ἐμπαίζοντες ἐν τοι̃ς προφήταις αὐτου̃ ἕως ἀνέβη ὁ θυμὸς κυρίου ἐν τω̨̃ λαω̨̃ αὐτου̃ ἕως οὐκ ἠ̃ν ἴαμα (Ⅲ)
- At illi subsannabant nuntios Dei, et parvipendebant sermones ejus, illudebantque prophetis, donec ascenderet furor Domini in populum ejus, et esset nulla curatio. (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 16 ׃36  ויהיו מלעבים במלאכי האלהים ובוזים דבריו ומתעתעים בנבאיו עד עלות חמת יהוה בעמו עד לאין מרפא ‬ (Ⅴ)
36. 17  
Therefore he brought upon them the king of the Chaldees, who slew their young men with the sword in the house of their sanctuary, and had no compassion upon young man or maiden, old man, or him that stooped for age: he gave them all into his hand.
- Alors l'Éternel fit monter contre eux le roi des Chaldéens, et tua par l'épée leurs jeunes gens dans la maison de leur sanctuaire; il n'épargna ni le jeune homme, ni la jeune fille, ni le vieillard, ni l'homme aux cheveux blancs, il livra tout entre ses mains. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ ἤγαγεν ἐπ' αὐτοὺς βασιλέα Χαλδαίων καὶ ἀπέκτεινεν τοὺς νεανίσκους αὐτω̃ν ἐν ῥομφαία̨ ἐν οἴκω̨ ἁγιάσματος αὐτου̃ καὶ οὐκ ἐφείσατο του̃ Σεδεκιου καὶ τὰς παρθένους αὐτω̃ν οὐκ ἠλέησαν καὶ τοὺς πρεσβυτέρους αὐτω̃ν ἀπήγαγον τὰ πάντα παρέδωκεν ἐν χερσὶν αὐτω̃ν (Ⅲ)
- Adduxit enim super eos regem Chaldæorum, et interfecit juvenes eorum gladio in domo sanctuarii sui : non est misertus adolescentis, et virginis, et senis, nec decrepiti quidem, sed omnes tradidit in manibus ejus. (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 17 ׃36  ויעל עליהם את מלך *כשדיים **כשדים ויהרג בחוריהם בחרב בבית מקדשם ולא חמל על בחור ובתולה זקן וישש הכל נתן בידו ‬ (Ⅴ)
36. 18  
And all the vessels of the house of God, great and small, and the treasures of the house of the LORD, and the treasures of the king, and of his princes; all these he brought to Babylon.
- Nebucadnetsar emporta à Babylone tous les ustensiles de la maison de Dieu, grands et petits, les trésors de la maison de l'Éternel, et les trésors du roi et de ses chefs. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ πάντα τὰ σκεύη οἴκου θεου̃ τὰ μεγάλα καὶ τὰ μικρὰ καὶ τοὺς θησαυροὺς καὶ πάντας τοὺς θησαυροὺς βασιλέως καὶ μεγιστάνων πάντα εἰσήνεγκεν εἰς Βαβυλω̃να (Ⅲ)
- Universaque vasa domus Domini, tam majora quam minora, et thesauros templi, et regis, et principum, transtulit in Babylonem. (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 18 ׃36  וכל כלי בית האלהים הגדלים והקטנים ואצרות בית יהוה ואצרות המלך ושריו הכל הביא בבל ‬ (Ⅴ)
36. 19  
And they burnt the house of God, and brake down the wall of Jerusalem, and burnt all the palaces thereof with fire, and destroyed all the goodly vessels thereof.
- Ils brûlèrent la maison de Dieu, ils démolirent les murailles de Jérusalem, ils livrèrent au feu tous ses palais et détruisirent tous les objets précieux. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ ἐνέπρησεν τὸν οἰ̃κον κυρίου καὶ κατέσκαψεν τὸ τει̃χος Ιερουσαλημ καὶ τὰς βάρεις αὐτη̃ς ἐνέπρησεν ἐν πυρὶ καὶ πα̃ν σκευ̃ος ὡραι̃ον εἰς ἀφανισμόν (Ⅲ)
- Incenderunt hostes domum Dei, destruxeruntque murum Jerusalem : universas turres combusserunt, et quidquid pretiosum fuerat, demoliti sunt. (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 19 ׃36  וישרפו את בית האלהים וינתצו את חומת ירושלם וכל ארמנותיה שרפו באש וכל כלי מחמדיה להשחית ס‬ (Ⅴ)
36. 20  
And them that had escaped from the sword carried he away to Babylon; where they were servants to him and his sons until the reign of the kingdom of Persia:
- Nebucadnetsar emmena captifs à Babylone ceux qui échappèrent à l'épée; et ils lui furent assujettis, à lui et à ses fils, jusqu'à la domination du royaume de Perse, (Ⅱ)
- καὶ ἀπώ̨κισεν τοὺς καταλοίπους εἰς Βαβυλω̃να καὶ ἠ̃σαν αὐτω̨̃ καὶ τοι̃ς υἱοι̃ς αὐτου̃ εἰς δούλους ἕως βασιλείας Μήδων (Ⅲ)
- Si quis evaserat gladium, ductus in Babylonem servivit regi et filiis ejus, donec imperaret rex Persarum, (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 20 ׃36  ויגל השארית מן החרב אל בבל ויהיו לו ולבניו לעבדים עד מלך מלכות פרס ‬ (Ⅴ)
36. 21  
To fulfil the word of the LORD by the mouth of Jeremiah, until the land had enjoyed her sabbaths: for as long as she lay desolate she kept sabbath, to fulfil threescore and ten years.
- afin que s'accomplît la parole de l'Éternel prononcée par la bouche de Jérémie; jusqu'à ce que le pays eût joui de ses sabbats, il se reposa tout le temps qu'il fut dévasté, jusqu'à l'accomplissement de soixante-dix ans. (Ⅱ)
- του̃ πληρωθη̃ναι λόγον κυρίου διὰ στόματος Ιερεμιου ἕως του̃ προσδέξασθαι τὴν γη̃ν τὰ σάββατα αὐτη̃ς σαββατίσαι πάσας τὰς ἡμέρας τη̃ς ἐρημώσεως αὐτη̃ς ἐσαββάτισεν εἰς συμπλήρωσιν ἐτω̃ν ἑβδομήκοντα (Ⅲ)
- et compleretur sermo Domini ex ore Jeremiæ, et celebraret terra sabbata sua : cunctis enim diebus desolationis egit sabbatum usque dum complerentur septuaginta anni.\ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 21 ׃36  למלאות דבר יהוה בפי ירמיהו עד רצתה הארץ את שבתותיה כל ימי השמה שבתה למלאות שבעים שנה פ‬ (Ⅴ)
36. 22  
Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of the LORD spoken by the mouth of Jeremiah might be accomplished, the LORD stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and put it also in writing, saying,
- La première année de Cyrus, roi de Perse, afin que s'accomplît la parole de l'Éternel prononcée par la bouche de Jérémie, l'Éternel réveilla l'esprit de Cyrus, roi de Perse, qui fit faire de vive voix et par écrit cette publication dans tout son royaume: (Ⅱ)
- ἔτους πρώτου Κύρου βασιλέως Περσω̃ν μετὰ τὸ πληρωθη̃ναι ῥη̃μα κυρίου διὰ στόματος Ιερεμιου ἐξήγειρεν κύριος τὸ πνευ̃μα Κύρου βασιλέως Περσω̃ν καὶ παρήγγειλεν κηρύξαι ἐν πάση̨ τη̨̃ βασιλεία̨ αὐτου̃ ἐν γραπτω̨̃ λέγων (Ⅲ)
- Anno autem primo Cyri regis Persarum, ad explendum sermonem Domini quem locutus fuerat per os Jeremiæ, suscitavit Dominus spiritum Cyri regis Persarum : qui jussit prædicari in universo regno suo, etiam per scripturam, dicens : (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 22 ׃36  ובשנת אחת לכורש מלך פרס לכלות דבר יהוה בפי ירמיהו העיר יהוה את רוח כורש מלך פרס ויעבר קול בכל מלכותו וגם במכתב לאמר ס‬ (Ⅴ)
36. 23  
Thus saith Cyrus king of Persia, All the kingdoms of the earth hath the LORD God of heaven given me; and he hath charged me to build him an house in Jerusalem, which is in Judah. Who is there among you of all his people? The LORD his God be with him, and let him go up.
- Ainsi parle Cyrus, roi de Perse: L'Éternel, le Dieu des cieux, m'a donné tous les royaumes de la terre, et il m'a commandé de lui bâtir une maison à Jérusalem en Juda. Qui d'entre vous est de son peuple? Que l'Éternel, son Dieu, soit avec lui, et qu'il monte! (Ⅱ)
- τάδε λέγει Κυ̃ρος βασιλεὺς Περσω̃ν πάσας τὰς βασιλείας τη̃ς γη̃ς ἔδωκέν μοι κύριος ὁ θεὸς του̃ οὐρανου̃ καὶ αὐτὸς ἐνετείλατό μοι οἰκοδομη̃σαι αὐτω̨̃ οἰ̃κον ἐν Ιερουσαλημ ἐν τη̨̃ Ιουδαία̨ τίς ἐξ ὑμω̃ν ἐκ παντὸς του̃ λαου̃ αὐτου̃ ἔσται ὁ θεὸς αὐτου̃ μετ' αὐτου̃ καὶ ἀναβήτω (Ⅲ)
- Hæc dicit Cyrus rex Persarum : Omnia regna terræ dedit mihi Dominus Deus cæli, et ipse præcepit mihi ut ædificarem ei domum in Jerusalem, quæ est in Judæa : quis ex vobis est in omni populo ejus ? sit Dominus Deus suus cum eo, et ascendat. (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 23 ׃36  כה אמר כורש מלך פרס כל ממלכות הארץ נתן לי יהוה אלהי השמים והוא פקד עלי לבנות לו בית בירושלם אשר ביהודה מי בכם מכל עמו יהוה אלהיו עמו ויעל ‬ (Ⅴ)
