1 ׃26 ויען איוב ויאמר
- Job prit la parole et dit: (Ⅱ) - But Job answered and said, (Ⅲ) - ὑπολαβὼν δὲ Ιωβ λέγει (Ⅳ) - Respondens autem Job dixit : (Ⅴ)

2 ׃26 מה עזרת ללא כח הושעת זרוע לא עז
- Comme tu sais bien venir en aide à la faiblesse! Comme tu prêtes secours au bras sans force! (Ⅱ) - How hast thou helped him that is without power? how savest thou the arm that hath no strength? (Ⅲ) - τίνι πρόσκεισαι ἢ τίνι μέλλεις βοηθει̃ν πότερον οὐχ ὡ̨̃ πολλὴ ἰσχὺς καὶ ὡ̨̃ βραχίων κραταιός ἐστιν (Ⅳ) - Cujus adjutor es ? numquid imbecillis ?/ et sustentas brachium ejus qui non est fortis ?/ (Ⅴ)

3 ׃26 מה יעצת ללא חכמה ותושיה לרב הודעת
- Quels bons conseils tu donnes à celui qui manque d'intelligence! Quelle abondance de sagesse tu fais paraître! (Ⅱ) - How hast thou counselled him that hath no wisdom? and how hast thou plentifully declared the thing as it is? (Ⅲ) - τίνι συμβεβούλευσαι οὐχ ὡ̨̃ πα̃σα σοφία ἢ τίνι ἐπακολουθήσεις οὐχ ὡ̨̃ μεγίστη δύναμις (Ⅳ) - Cui dedisti consilium ?/ forsitan illi qui non habet sapientiam :/ et prudentiam tuam ostendisti plurimam./ (Ⅴ)

4 ׃26 את מי הגדת מלין ונשמת מי יצאה ממך
- A qui s'adressent tes paroles? Et qui est-ce qui t'inspire? (Ⅱ) - To whom hast thou uttered words? and whose spirit came from thee? (Ⅲ) - τίνι ἀνήγγειλας ῥήματα πνοὴ δὲ τίνος ἐστὶν ἡ ἐξελθου̃σα ἐκ σου̃ (Ⅳ) - Quem docere voluisti ?/ nonne eum qui fecit spiramentum ?/ (Ⅴ)

5 ׃26 הרפאים יחוללו מתחת מים ושכניהם
- Devant Dieu les ombres tremblent Au-dessous des eaux et de leurs habitants; (Ⅱ) - Dead things are formed from under the waters, and the inhabitants thereof. (Ⅲ) - μὴ γίγαντες μαιωθήσονται ὑποκάτωθεν ὕδατος καὶ τω̃ν γειτόνων αὐτου̃ (Ⅳ) - Ecce gigantes gemunt sub aquis,/ et qui habitant cum eis./ (Ⅴ)

6 ׃26 ערום שאול נגדו ואין כסות לאבדון
- Devant lui le séjour des morts est nu, L'abîme n'a point de voile. (Ⅱ) - Hell is naked before him, and destruction hath no covering. (Ⅲ) - γυμνὸς ὁ ἅ̨δης ἐπώπιον αὐτου̃ καὶ οὐκ ἔστιν περιβόλαιον τη̨̃ ἀπωλεία̨ (Ⅳ) - Nudus est infernus coram illo,/ et nullum est operimentum perditioni./ (Ⅴ)

7 ׃26 נטה צפון על תהו תלה ארץ על בלי מה
- Il étend le septentrion sur le vide, Il suspend la terre sur le néant. (Ⅱ) - He stretcheth out the north over the empty place, and hangeth the earth upon nothing. (Ⅲ) - ἐκτείνων βορέαν ἐπ' οὐδέν κρεμάζων γη̃ν ἐπὶ οὐδενός (Ⅳ) - Qui extendit aquilonem super vacuum,/ et appendit terram super nihilum./ (Ⅴ)

8 ׃26 צרר מים בעביו ולא נבקע ענן תחתם
- Il renferme les eaux dans ses nuages, Et les nuages n'éclatent pas sous leur poids. (Ⅱ) - He bindeth up the waters in his thick clouds; and the cloud is not rent under them. (Ⅲ) - δεσμεύων ὕδωρ ἐν νεφέλαις αὐτου̃ καὶ οὐκ ἐρράγη νέφος ὑποκάτω αὐτου̃ (Ⅳ) - Qui ligat aquas in nubibus suis,/ ut non erumpant pariter deorsum./ (Ⅴ)

9 ׃26 מאחז פני כסה פרשז עליו עננו
- Il couvre la face de son trône, Il répand sur lui sa nuée. (Ⅱ) - He holdeth back the face of his throne, and spreadeth his cloud upon it. (Ⅲ) - ὁ κρατω̃ν πρόσωπον θρόνου ἐκπετάζων ἐπ' αὐτὸν νέφος αὐτου̃ (Ⅳ) - Qui tenet vultum solii sui,/ et expandit super illud nebulam suam./ (Ⅴ)

10 ׃26 חק חג על פני מים עד תכלית אור עם חשך
- Il a tracé un cercle à la surface des eaux, Comme limite entre la lumière et les ténèbres. (Ⅱ) - He hath compassed the waters with bounds, until the day and night come to an end. (Ⅲ) - πρόσταγμα ἐγύρωσεν ἐπὶ πρόσωπον ὕδατος μέχρι συντελείας φωτὸς μετὰ σκότους (Ⅳ) - Terminum circumdedit aquis,/ usque dum finiantur lux et tenebræ./ (Ⅴ)

11 ׃26 עמודי שמים ירופפו ויתמהו מגערתו
- Les colonnes du ciel s'ébranlent, Et s'étonnent à sa menace. (Ⅱ) - The pillars of heaven tremble and are astonished at his reproof. (Ⅲ) - στυ̃λοι οὐρανου̃ ἐπετάσθησαν καὶ ἐξέστησαν ἀπὸ τη̃ς ἐπιτιμήσεως αὐτου̃ (Ⅳ) - Columnæ cæli contremiscunt,/ et pavent ad nutum ejus./ (Ⅴ)

12 ׃26 בכחו רגע הים *ובתובנתו **ובתבונתו מחץ רהב
- Par sa force il soulève la mer, Par son intelligence il en brise l'orgueil. (Ⅱ) - He divideth the sea with his power, and by his understanding he smiteth through the proud. (Ⅲ) - ἰσχύι κατέπαυσεν τὴν θάλασσαν ἐπιστήμη̨ δὲ ἔτρωσε τὸ κη̃τος (Ⅳ) - In fortitudine illius repente maria congregata sunt,/ et prudentia ejus percussit superbum./ (Ⅴ)

13 ׃26 ברוחו שמים שפרה חללה ידו נחש בריח
- Son souffle donne au ciel la sérénité, Sa main transperce le serpent fuyard. (Ⅱ) - By his spirit he hath garnished the heavens; his hand hath formed the crooked serpent. (Ⅲ) - κλει̃θρα δὲ οὐρανου̃ δεδοίκασιν αὐτόν προστάγματι δὲ ἐθανάτωσεν δράκοντα ἀποστάτην (Ⅳ) - Spiritus ejus ornavit cælos,/ et obstetricante manu ejus, eductus est coluber tortuosus./ (Ⅴ)

14 ׃26 הן אלה קצות *דרכו **דרכיו ומה שמץ דבר נשמע בו ורעם *גבורתו **גבורותיו[k] מי יתבונן ס
- Ce sont là les bords de ses voies, C'est le bruit léger qui nous en parvient; Mais qui entendra le tonnerre de sa puissance? (Ⅱ) - Lo, these are parts of his ways: but how little a portion is heard of him? but the thunder of his power who can understand? (Ⅲ) - ἰδοὺ ταυ̃τα μέρη ὁδου̃ αὐτου̃ καὶ ἐπὶ ἰκμάδα λόγου ἀκουσόμεθα ἐν αὐτω̨̃ σθένος δὲ βροντη̃ς αὐτου̃ τίς οἰ̃δεν ὁπότε ποιήσει (Ⅳ) - Ecce hæc ex parte dicta sunt viarum ejus :/ et cum vix parvam stillam sermonis ejus audierimus,/ quis poterit tonitruum magnitudinis illius intueri ?] (Ⅴ)
