Super hoc expavit cor meum,/ et emotum est de loco suo./
- Mon coeur est tout tremblant, Il bondit hors de sa place. (Ⅱ) - At this also my heart trembleth, and is moved out of his place. (Ⅲ) - καὶ ταύτης ἐταράχθη ἡ καρδία μου καὶ ἀπερρύη ἐκ του̃ τόπου αὐτη̃ς (Ⅳ) - 1 ׃37 אף לזאת יחרד לבי ויתר ממקומו (Ⅴ)

Audite auditionem in terrore vocis ejus,/ et sonum de ore illius procedentem./
- Écoutez, écoutez le frémissement de sa voix, Le grondement qui sort de sa bouche! (Ⅱ) - Hear attentively the noise of his voice, and the sound that goeth out of his mouth. (Ⅲ) - ἄκουε ἀκοὴν ἐν ὀργη̨̃ θυμου̃ κυρίου καὶ μελέτη ἐκ στόματος αὐτου̃ ἐξελεύσεται (Ⅳ) - 2 ׃37 שמעו שמוע ברגז קלו והגה מפיו יצא (Ⅴ)

Subter omnes cælos ipse considerat,/ et lumen illius super terminos terræ./
- Il le fait rouler dans toute l'étendue des cieux, Et son éclair brille jusqu'aux extrémités de la terre. (Ⅱ) - He directeth it under the whole heaven, and his lightning unto the ends of the earth. (Ⅲ) - ὑποκάτω παντὸς του̃ οὐρανου̃ ἀρχὴ αὐτου̃ καὶ τὸ φω̃ς αὐτου̃ ἐπὶ πτερύγων τη̃ς γη̃ς (Ⅳ) - 3 ׃37 תחת כל השמים ישרהו ואורו על כנפות הארץ (Ⅴ)

Post eum rugiet sonitus ;/ tonabit voce magnitudinis suæ :/ et non investigabitur, cum audita fuerit vox ejus./
- Puis éclate un rugissement: il tonne de sa voix majestueuse; Il ne retient plus l'éclair, dès que sa voix retentit. (Ⅱ) - After it a voice roareth: he thundereth with the voice of his excellency; and he will not stay them when his voice is heard. (Ⅲ) - ὀπίσω αὐτου̃ βοήσεται φωνή βροντήσει ἐν φωνη̨̃ ὕβρεως αὐτου̃ καὶ οὐκ ἀνταλλάξει αὐτούς ὅτι ἀκούσει φωνὴν αὐτου̃ (Ⅳ) - 4 ׃37 אחריו ישאג קול ירעם בקול גאונו ולא יעקבם כי ישמע קולו (Ⅴ)

Tonabit Deus in voce sua mirabiliter,/ qui facit magna et inscrutabilia ;/
- Dieu tonne avec sa voix d'une manière merveilleuse; Il fait de grandes choses que nous ne comprenons pas. (Ⅱ) - God thundereth marvellously with his voice; great things doeth he, which we cannot comprehend. (Ⅲ) - βροντήσει ὁ ἰσχυρὸς ἐν φωνη̨̃ αὐτου̃ θαυμάσια ἐποίησεν γὰρ μεγάλα ἃ οὐκ ἤ̨δειμεν (Ⅳ) - 5 ׃37 ירעם אל בקולו נפלאות עשה גדלות ולא נדע (Ⅴ)

qui præcipit nivi ut descendat in terram,/ et hiemis pluviis, et imbri fortitudinis suæ ;/
- Il dit à la neige: Tombe sur la terre! Il le dit à la pluie, même aux plus fortes pluies. (Ⅱ) - For he saith to the snow, Be thou on the earth; likewise to the small rain, and to the great rain of his strength. (Ⅲ) - συντάσσων χιόνι γίνου ἐπὶ τη̃ς γη̃ς καὶ χειμὼν ὑετός καὶ χειμὼν ὑετω̃ν δυναστείας αὐτου̃ (Ⅳ) - 6 ׃37 כי לשלג[1] יאמר הוא ארץ וגשם מטר וגשם מטרות עזו (Ⅴ)

qui in manu omnium hominum signat,/ ut noverint singuli opera sua./
- Il met un sceau sur la main de tous les hommes, Afin que tous se reconnaissent comme ses créatures. (Ⅱ) - He sealeth up the hand of every man; that all men may know his work. (Ⅲ) - ἐν χειρὶ παντὸς ἀνθρώπου κατασφραγίζει ἵνα γνω̨̃ πα̃ς ἄνθρωπος τὴν ἑαυτου̃ ἀσθένειαν (Ⅳ) - 7 ׃37 ביד כל אדם יחתום לדעת כל אנשי מעשהו (Ⅴ)

Ingredietur bestia latibulum,/ et in antro suo morabitur./
- L'animal sauvage se retire dans une caverne, Et se couche dans sa tanière. (Ⅱ) - Then the beasts go into dens, and remain in their places. (Ⅲ) - εἰση̃λθεν δὲ θηρία ὑπὸ σκέπην ἡσύχασαν δὲ ἐπὶ κοίτης (Ⅳ) - 8 ׃37 ותבא חיה במו ארב ובמעונתיה תשכן (Ⅴ)

Ab interioribus egredietur tempestas,/ et ab Arcturo frigus./
- L'ouragan vient du midi, Et le froid, des vents du nord. (Ⅱ) - Out of the south cometh the whirlwind: and cold out of the north. (Ⅲ) - ἐκ ταμιείων ἐπέρχονται δι̃ναι ἀπὸ δὲ ἀκρωτηρίων ψυ̃χος (Ⅳ) - 9 ׃37 מן החדר תבוא סופה וממזרים קרה (Ⅴ)

Flante Deo, concrescit gelu,/ et rursum latissimæ funduntur aquæ./
- Par son souffle Dieu produit la glace, Il réduit l'espace où se répandaient les eaux. (Ⅱ) - By the breath of God frost is given: and the breadth of the waters is straitened. (Ⅲ) - καὶ ἀπὸ πνοη̃ς ἰσχυρου̃ δώσει πάγος οἰακίζει δὲ τὸ ὕδωρ ὡς ἐὰν βούληται (Ⅳ) - 10 ׃37 מנשמת אל יתן קרח ורחב מים במוצק (Ⅴ)

Frumentum desiderat nubes,/ et nubes spargunt lumen suum./
- Il charge de vapeurs les nuages, Il les disperse étincelants; (Ⅱ) - Also by watering he wearieth the thick cloud: he scattereth his bright cloud: (Ⅲ) - καὶ ἐκλεκτὸν καταπλάσσει νεφέλη διασκορπιει̃ νέφος φω̃ς αὐτου̃ (Ⅳ) - 11 ׃37 אף ברי יטריח עב יפיץ ענן אורו (Ⅴ)

Quæ lustrant per circuitum,/ quocumque eas voluntas gubernantis duxerit,/ ad omne quod præceperit illis super faciem orbis terrarum :/
- Leurs évolutions varient selon ses desseins, Pour l'accomplissement de tout ce qu'il leur ordonne, Sur la face de la terre habitée; (Ⅱ) - And it is turned round about by his counsels: that they may do whatsoever he commandeth them upon the face of the world in the earth. (Ⅲ) - καὶ αὐτὸς κυκλώματα διαστρέψει ἐν θεεβουλαθω εἰς ἔργα αὐτω̃ν πάντα ὅσα ἂν ἐντείληται αὐτοι̃ς ταυ̃τα συντέτακται παρ' αὐτου̃ ἐπὶ τη̃ς γη̃ς (Ⅳ) - 12 ׃37 והוא מסבות מתהפך *בתחבולתו **בתחבולתיו לפעלם כל אשר יצום על פני תבל ארצה (Ⅴ)

sive in una tribu, sive in terra sua,/ sive in quocumque loco misericordiæ suæ/ eas jusserit inveniri./
- C'est comme une verge dont il frappe sa terre, Ou comme un signe de son amour, qu'il les fait apparaître. (Ⅱ) - He causeth it to come, whether for correction, or for his land, or for mercy. (Ⅲ) - ἐὰν εἰς παιδείαν ἐὰν εἰς τὴν γη̃ν αὐτου̃ ἐὰν εἰς ἔλεος εὑρήσει αὐτόν (Ⅳ) - 13 ׃37 אם לשבט אם לארצו אם לחסד ימצאהו (Ⅴ)

Ausculta hæc, Job :/ sta, et considera mirabilia Dei./
- Job, sois attentif à ces choses! Considère encore les merveilles de Dieu! (Ⅱ) - Hearken unto this, O Job: stand still, and consider the wondrous works of God. (Ⅲ) - ἐνωτίζου ταυ̃τα Ιωβ στη̃θι νουθετου̃ δύναμιν κυρίου (Ⅳ) - 14 ׃37 האזינה זאת איוב עמד והתבונן נפלאות אל (Ⅴ)

Numquid scis quando præceperit Deus pluviis,/ ut ostenderent lucem nubium ejus ?/
- Sais-tu comment Dieu les dirige, Et fait briller son nuage étincelant? (Ⅱ) - Dost thou know when God disposed them, and caused the light of his cloud to shine? (Ⅲ) - οἴδαμεν ὅτι ὁ θεὸς ἔθετο ἔργα αὐτου̃ φω̃ς ποιήσας ἐκ σκότους (Ⅳ) - 15 ׃37 התדע בשום אלוה עליהם והופיע אור עננו (Ⅴ)

Numquid nosti semitas nubium magnas,/ et perfectas scientias ?/
- Comprends-tu le balancement des nuées, Les merveilles de celui dont la science est parfaite? (Ⅱ) - Dost thou know the balancings of the clouds, the wondrous works of him which is perfect in knowledge? (Ⅲ) - ἐπίσταται δὲ διάκρισιν νεφω̃ν ἐξαίσια δὲ πτώματα πονηρω̃ν (Ⅳ) - 16 ׃37 התדע על מפלשי עב מפלאות תמים דעים (Ⅴ)

Nonne vestimenta tua calida sunt,/ cum perflata fuerit terra austro ?/
- Sais-tu pourquoi tes vêtements sont chauds Quand la terre se repose par le vent du midi? (Ⅱ) - How thy garments are warm, when he quieteth the earth by the south wind? (Ⅲ) - σου̃ δὲ ἡ στολὴ θερμή ἡσυχάζεται δὲ ἐπὶ τη̃ς γη̃ς (Ⅳ) - 17 ׃37 אשר בגדיך חמים בהשקט ארץ מדרום (Ⅴ)

Tu forsitan cum eo fabricatus es cælos,/ qui solidissimi quasi ære fusi sunt./
- Peux-tu comme lui étendre les cieux, Aussi solides qu'un miroir de fonte? (Ⅱ) - Hast thou with him spread out the sky, which is strong, and as a molten looking glass? (Ⅲ) - στερεώσεις μετ' αὐτου̃ εἰς παλαιώματα ἰσχυραὶ ὡς ὅρασις ἐπιχύσεως (Ⅳ) - 18 ׃37 תרקיע עמו לשחקים חזקים כראי מוצק (Ⅴ)

Ostende nobis quid dicamus illi :/ nos quippe involvimur tenebris./
- Fais-nous connaître ce que nous devons lui dire; Nous sommes trop ignorants pour nous adresser à lui. (Ⅱ) - Teach us what we shall say unto him; for we cannot order our speech by reason of darkness. (Ⅲ) - διὰ τί δίδαξόν με τί ἐρου̃μεν αὐτω̨̃ καὶ παυσώμεθα πολλὰ λέγοντες (Ⅳ) - 19 ׃37 הודיענו[c] מה נאמר לו לא נערך מפני חשך (Ⅴ)

Quis narrabit ei quæ loquor ?/ etiam si locutus fuerit homo, devorabitur./
- Lui annoncera-t-on que je parlerai? Mais quel est l'homme qui désire sa perte? (Ⅱ) - Shall it be told him that I speak? if a man speak, surely he shall be swallowed up. (Ⅲ) - μὴ βίβλος ἢ γραμματεύς μοι παρέστηκεν ἵνα ἄνθρωπον ἑστηκὼς κατασιωπήσω (Ⅳ) - 20 ׃37 היספר לו[c] כי אדבר אם אמר איש כי יבלע (Ⅴ)

At nunc non vident lucem :/ subito aër cogetur in nubes,/ et ventus transiens fugabit eas./
- On ne peut fixer le soleil qui resplendit dans les cieux, Lorsqu'un vent passe et en ramène la pureté; (Ⅱ) - And now men see not the bright light which is in the clouds: but the wind passeth, and cleanseth them. (Ⅲ) - πα̃σιν δ' οὐχ ὁρατὸν τὸ φω̃ς τηλαυγές ἐστιν ἐν τοι̃ς παλαιώμασιν ὥσπερ τὸ παρ' αὐτου̃ ἐπὶ νεφω̃ν (Ⅳ) - 21 ׃37 ועתה לא ראו אור בהיר הוא בשחקים ורוח עברה ותטהרם (Ⅴ)

Ab aquilone aurum venit,/ et ad Deum formidolosa laudatio./
- Le septentrion le rend éclatant comme l'or. Oh! que la majesté de Dieu est redoutable! (Ⅱ) - Fair weather cometh out of the north: with God is terrible majesty. (Ⅲ) - ἀπὸ βορρα̃ νέφη χρυσαυγου̃ντα ἐπὶ τούτοις μεγάλη ἡ δόξα καὶ τιμὴ παντοκράτορος (Ⅳ) - 22 ׃37 מצפון זהב יאתה על אלוה נורא הוד (Ⅴ)

Digne eum invenire non possumus :/ magnus fortitudine, et judicio, et justitia :/ et enarrari non potest./
- Nous ne saurions parvenir jusqu'au Tout Puissant, Grand par la force, Par la justice, par le droit souverain: Il ne répond pas! (Ⅱ) - Touching the Almighty, we cannot find him out: he is excellent in power, and in judgment, and in plenty of justice: he will not afflict. (Ⅲ) - καὶ οὐχ εὑρίσκομεν ἄλλον ὅμοιον τη̨̃ ἰσχύι αὐτου̃ ὁ τὰ δίκαια κρίνων οὐκ οἴει ἐπακούειν αὐτόν (Ⅳ) - 23 ׃37 שדי לא מצאנהו שגיא כח ומשפט ורב צדקה לא יענה (Ⅴ)

Ideo timebunt eum viri,/ et non audebunt contemplari omnes qui sibi videntur esse sapientes.]
- C'est pourquoi les hommes doivent le craindre; Il ne porte les regards sur aucun sage. (Ⅱ) - Men do therefore fear him: he respecteth not any that are wise of heart. (Ⅲ) - διὸ φοβηθήσονται αὐτὸν οἱ ἄνθρωποι φοβηθήσονται δὲ αὐτὸν καὶ οἱ σοφοὶ καρδία̨ (Ⅳ) - 24 ׃37 לכן יראוהו אנשים לא יראה כל חכמי לב פ (Ⅴ)
