10. 1  
Ut quid, Domine, recessisti longe ;/ despicis in opportunitatibus, in tribulatione ?/
- Pourquoi, ô Éternel! te tiens-tu éloigné? Pourquoi te caches-tu au temps de la détresse? (Ⅱ)
- Why standest thou afar off, O LORD? why hidest thou thyself in times of trouble? (Ⅲ)
- ἵνα τί κύριε ἀφέστηκας μακρόθεν ὑπερορα̨̃ς ἐν εὐκαιρίαις ἐν θλίψει (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 1  ׃10  למה יהוה תעמד ברחוק תעלים לעתות בצרה ‬ (Ⅴ)
10. 2  
Dum superbit impius, incenditur pauper :/ comprehenduntur in consiliis quibus cogitant./
- Le méchant dans son orgueil poursuit les malheureux, Ils sont victimes des trames qu'il a conçues. (Ⅱ)
- The wicked in his pride doth persecute the poor: let them be taken in the devices that they have imagined. (Ⅲ)
- ἐν τω̨̃ ὑπερηφανεύεσθαι τὸν ἀσεβη̃ ἐμπυρίζεται ὁ πτωχός συλλαμβάνονται ἐν διαβουλίοις οἱ̃ς διαλογίζονται (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 2  ׃10  בגאות רשע ידלק עני יתפשו במזמות זו חשבו ‬ (Ⅴ)

Quoniam laudatur peccator in desideriis animæ suæ,/ et iniquus benedicitur./
- Car le méchant se glorifie de sa convoitise, Et le ravisseur outrage, méprise l'Éternel. (Ⅱ)
- For the wicked boasteth of his heart's desire, and blesseth the covetous, whom the LORD abhorreth. (Ⅲ)
- ὅτι ἐπαινει̃ται ὁ ἁμαρτωλὸς ἐν ται̃ς ἐπιθυμίαις τη̃ς ψυχη̃ς αὐτου̃ καὶ ὁ ἀδικω̃ν ἐνευλογει̃ται (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 3  ׃10  כי הלל רשע על תאות נפשו ובצע ברך נאץ יהוה ‬ (Ⅴ)
10. 4  
Exacerbavit Dominum peccator :/ secundum multitudinem iræ suæ, non quæret./
- Le méchant dit avec arrogance: Il ne punit pas! Il n'y a point de Dieu! -Voilà toutes ses pensées. (Ⅱ)
- The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God: God is not in all his thoughts. (Ⅲ)
- παρώξυνεν τὸν κύριον ὁ ἁμαρτωλός κατὰ τὸ πλη̃θος τη̃ς ὀργη̃ς αὐτου̃ οὐκ ἐκζητήσει οὐκ ἔστιν ὁ θεὸς ἐνώπιον αὐτου̃ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 4  ׃10  רשע כגבה אפו בל ידרש אין אלהים כל מזמותיו ‬ (Ⅴ)
10. 5  
Non est Deus in conspectu ejus ;/ inquinatæ sunt viæ illius in omni tempore./ Auferuntur judicia tua a facie ejus ;/ omnium inimicorum suorum dominabitur./
- Ses voies réussissent en tout temps; Tes jugements sont trop élevés pour l'atteindre, Il souffle contre tous ses adversaires. (Ⅱ)
- His ways are always grievous; thy judgments are far above out of his sight: as for all his enemies, he puffeth at them. (Ⅲ)
- βεβηλου̃νται αἱ ὁδοὶ αὐτου̃ ἐν παντὶ καιρω̨̃ ἀνταναιρει̃ται τὰ κρίματά σου ἀπὸ προσώπου αὐτου̃ πάντων τω̃ν ἐχθρω̃ν αὐτου̃ κατακυριεύσει (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 5  ׃10  יחילו *דרכו **דרכיו בכל עת מרום משפטיך מנגדו כל צורריו יפיח בהם ‬ (Ⅴ)

Dixit enim in corde suo : Non movebor/ a generatione in generationem, sine malo./
- Il dit en son coeur: Je ne chancelle pas, Je suis pour toujours à l'abri du malheur! (Ⅱ)
- He hath said in his heart, I shall not be moved: for I shall never be in adversity. (Ⅲ)
- εἰ̃πεν γὰρ ἐν καρδία̨ αὐτου̃ οὐ μὴ σαλευθω̃ ἀπὸ γενεα̃ς εἰς γενεὰν ἄνευ κακου̃ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 6  ׃10  אמר בלבו בל אמוט לדר ודר אשר לא ברע ‬ (Ⅴ)
10. 7  
Cujus maledictione os plenum est, et amaritudine, et dolo ;/ sub lingua ejus labor et dolor./
- Sa bouche est pleine de malédictions, de tromperies et de fraudes; Il y a sous sa langue de la malice et de l'iniquité. (Ⅱ)
- His mouth is full of cursing and deceit and fraud: under his tongue is mischief and vanity. (Ⅲ)
- οὑ̃ ἀρα̃ς τὸ στόμα αὐτου̃ γέμει καὶ πικρίας καὶ δόλου ὑπὸ τὴν γλω̃σσαν αὐτου̃ κόπος καὶ πόνος (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 7  ׃10  אלה פיהו מלא ומרמות ותך תחת לשונו עמל ואון ‬ (Ⅴ)

Sedet in insidiis cum divitibus in occultis,/ ut interficiat innocentem./
- Il se tient en embuscade près des villages, Il assassine l'innocent dans des lieux écartés; Ses yeux épient le malheureux. (Ⅱ)
- He sitteth in the lurking places of the villages: in the secret places doth he murder the innocent: his eyes are privily set against the poor. (Ⅲ)
- ἐγκάθηται ἐνέδρα̨ μετὰ πλουσίων ἐν ἀποκρύφοις ἀποκτει̃ναι ἀθω̨̃ον οἱ ὀφθαλμοὶ αὐτου̃ εἰς τὸν πένητα ἀποβλέπουσιν (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 8  ׃10  ישב במארב חצרים במסתרים יהרג נקי עיניו לחלכה יצפנו ‬ (Ⅴ)
10. 9  
Oculi ejus in pauperem respiciunt ;/ insidiatur in abscondito, quasi leo in spelunca sua./ Insidiatur ut rapiat pauperem ;/ rapere pauperem dum attrahit eum./
- Il est aux aguets dans sa retraite, comme le lion dans sa tanière, Il est aux aguets pour surprendre le malheureux; Il le surprend et l'attire dans son filet. (Ⅱ)
- He lieth in wait secretly as a lion in his den: he lieth in wait to catch the poor: he doth catch the poor, when he draweth him into his net. (Ⅲ)
- ἐνεδρεύει ἐν ἀποκρύφω̨ ὡς λέων ἐν τη̨̃ μάνδρα̨ αὐτου̃ ἐνεδρεύει του̃ ἁρπάσαι πτωχόν ἁρπάσαι πτωχὸν ἐν τω̨̃ ἑλκύσαι αὐτόν (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 9  ׃10  יארב במסתר כאריה בסכה יארב לחטוף עני יחטף עני במשכו ברשתו ‬ (Ⅴ)

In laqueo suo humiliabit eum ;/ inclinabit se, et cadet cum dominatus fuerit pauperum./
- Il se courbe, il se baisse, Et les misérables tombent dans ses griffes. (Ⅱ)
- He croucheth, and humbleth himself, that the poor may fall by his strong ones. (Ⅲ)
- ἐν τη̨̃ παγίδι αὐτου̃ ταπεινώσει αὐτόν κύψει καὶ πεσει̃ται ἐν τω̨̃ αὐτὸν κατακυριευ̃σαι τω̃ν πενήτων (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 10 ׃10  *ודכה **ידכה ישח ונפל בעצומיו *חלכאים **חיל **כאים ‬ (Ⅴ)

Dixit enim in corde suo : Oblitus est Deus ;/ avertit faciem suam, ne videat in finem./
- Il dit en son coeur: Dieu oublie! Il cache sa face, il ne regarde jamais! (Ⅱ)
- He hath said in his heart, God hath forgotten: he hideth his face; he will never see it. (Ⅲ)
- εἰ̃πεν γὰρ ἐν καρδία̨ αὐτου̃ ἐπιλέλησται ὁ θεός ἀπέστρεψεν τὸ πρόσωπον αὐτου̃ του̃ μὴ βλέπειν εἰς τέλος (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 11 ׃10  אמר בלבו שכח אל הסתיר פניו בל ראה לנצח ‬ (Ⅴ)

Exsurge, Domine Deus, exaltetur manus tua ;/ ne obliviscaris pauperum./
- Lève-toi, Éternel! ô Dieu, lève ta main! N'oublie pas les malheureux! (Ⅱ)
- Arise, O LORD; O God, lift up thine hand: forget not the humble. (Ⅲ)
- ἀνάστηθι κύριε ὁ θεός ὑψωθήτω ἡ χείρ σου μὴ ἐπιλάθη̨ τω̃ν πενήτων (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 12 ׃10  קומה יהוה אל נשא ידך אל תשכח *עניים **ענוים ‬ (Ⅴ)
10. 13  
Propter quid irritavit impius Deum ?/ dixit enim in corde suo : Non requiret./
- Pourquoi le méchant méprise-t-il Dieu? Pourquoi dit-il en son coeur: Tu ne punis pas? (Ⅱ)
- Wherefore doth the wicked contemn God? he hath said in his heart, Thou wilt not require it. (Ⅲ)
- ἕνεκεν τίνος παρώξυνεν ὁ ἀσεβὴς τὸν θεόν εἰ̃πεν γὰρ ἐν καρδία̨ αὐτου̃ οὐκ ἐκζητήσει (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 13 ׃10  על מה נאץ רשע אלהים אמר בלבו לא תדרש ‬ (Ⅴ)
10. 14  
Vides, quoniam tu laborem et dolorem consideras,/ ut tradas eos in manus tuas./ Tibi derelictus est pauper ;/ orphano tu eris adjutor./
- Tu regardes cependant, car tu vois la peine et la souffrance, Pour prendre en main leur cause; C'est à toi que s'abandonne le malheureux, C'est toi qui viens en aide à l'orphelin. (Ⅱ)
- Thou hast seen it; for thou beholdest mischief and spite, to requite it with thy hand: the poor committeth himself unto thee; thou art the helper of the fatherless. (Ⅲ)
- βλέπεις ὅτι σὺ πόνον καὶ θυμὸν κατανοει̃ς του̃ παραδου̃ναι αὐτοὺς εἰς χει̃ράς σου σοὶ οὐ̃ν ἐγκαταλέλειπται ὁ πτωχός ὀρφανω̨̃ σὺ ἠ̃σθα βοηθω̃ν (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 14 ׃10  ראתה כי אתה עמל וכעס תביט לתת בידך עליך יעזב חלכה יתום אתה היית עוזר ‬ (Ⅴ)

Contere brachium peccatoris et maligni ;/ quæretur peccatum illius, et non invenietur./
- Brise le bras du méchant, Punis ses iniquités, et qu'il disparaisse à tes yeux! (Ⅱ)
- Break thou the arm of the wicked and the evil man: seek out his wickedness till thou find none. (Ⅲ)
- σύντριψον τὸν βραχίονα του̃ ἁμαρτωλου̃ καὶ πονηρου̃ ζητηθήσεται ἡ ἁμαρτία αὐτου̃ καὶ οὐ μὴ εὑρεθη̨̃ δι' αὐτήν (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 15 ׃10  שבר זרוע רשע ורע תדרוש רשעו בל תמצא ‬ (Ⅴ)

Dominus regnabit in æternum, et in sæculum sæculi ;/ peribitis, gentes, de terra illius./
- L'Éternel est roi à toujours et à perpétuité; Les nations sont exterminées de son pays. (Ⅱ)
- The LORD is King for ever and ever: the heathen are perished out of his land. (Ⅲ)
- βασιλεύσει κύριος εἰς τὸν αἰω̃να καὶ εἰς τὸν αἰω̃να του̃ αἰω̃νος ἀπολει̃σθε ἔθνη ἐκ τη̃ς γη̃ς αὐτου̃ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 16 ׃10  יהוה מלך עולם ועד אבדו גוים מארצו ‬ (Ⅴ)

Desiderium pauperum exaudivit Dominus ;/ præparationem cordis eorum audivit auris tua :/
- Tu entends les voeux de ceux qui souffrent, ô Éternel! Tu affermis leur coeur; tu prêtes l'oreille (Ⅱ)
- LORD, thou hast heard the desire of the humble: thou wilt prepare their heart, thou wilt cause thine ear to hear: (Ⅲ)
- τὴν ἐπιθυμίαν τω̃ν πενήτων εἰσήκουσεν κύριος τὴν ἑτοιμασίαν τη̃ς καρδίας αὐτω̃ν προσέσχεν τὸ οὐ̃ς σου (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 17 ׃10  תאות ענוים שמעת יהוה תכין לבם תקשיב אזנך ‬ (Ⅴ)

judicare pupillo et humili,/ ut non apponat ultra magnificare se homo super terram.]
- Pour rendre justice à l'orphelin et à l'opprimé, Afin que l'homme tiré de la terre cesse d'inspirer l'effroi. (Ⅱ)
- To judge the fatherless and the oppressed, that the man of the earth may no more oppress. (Ⅲ)
- κρι̃ναι ὀρφανω̨̃ καὶ ταπεινω̨̃ ἵνα μὴ προσθη̨̃ ἔτι του̃ μεγαλαυχει̃ν ἄνθρωπος ἐπὶ τη̃ς γη̃ς (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 18 ׃10  לשפט יתום ודך בל יוסיף עוד לערץ אנוש מן הארץ ‬ (Ⅴ)
