He watereth the hills from his chambers: the earth is satisfied with the fruit of thy works.
- De sa haute demeure, il arrose les montagnes; La terre est rassasiée du fruit de tes oeuvres. (Ⅱ) - ποτίζων ὄρη ἐκ τω̃ν ὑπερώ̨ων αὐτου̃ ἀπὸ καρπου̃ τω̃ν ἔργων σου χορτασθήσεται ἡ γη̃ (Ⅲ) - Rigans montes de superioribus suis ;/ de fructu operum tuorum satiabitur terra :/ (Ⅳ) - 13 ׃104 משקה הרים מעליותיו מפרי מעשיך תשבע הארץ (Ⅴ)

He causeth the grass to grow for the cattle, and herb for the service of man: that he may bring forth food out of the earth;
- Il fait germer l'herbe pour le bétail, Et les plantes pour les besoins de l'homme, Afin que la terre produise de la nourriture, (Ⅱ) - ἐξανατέλλων χόρτον τοι̃ς κτήνεσιν καὶ χλόην τη̨̃ δουλεία̨ τω̃ν ἀνθρώπων του̃ ἐξαγαγει̃ν ἄρτον ἐκ τη̃ς γη̃ς (Ⅲ) - producens fœnum jumentis,/ et herbam servituti hominum,/ ut educas panem de terra,/ (Ⅳ) - 14 ׃104 מצמיח חציר לבהמה ועשב לעבדת האדם להוציא לחם מן הארץ (Ⅴ)

And wine that maketh glad the heart of man, and oil to make his face to shine, and bread which strengtheneth man's heart.
- Le vin qui réjouit le coeur de l'homme, Et fait plus que l'huile resplendir son visage, Et le pain qui soutient le coeur de l'homme. (Ⅱ) - καὶ οἰ̃νος εὐφραίνει καρδίαν ἀνθρώπου του̃ ἱλαρυ̃ναι πρόσωπον ἐν ἐλαίω̨ καὶ ἄρτος καρδίαν ἀνθρώπου στηρίζει (Ⅲ) - et vinum lætificet cor hominis :/ ut exhilaret faciem in oleo,/ et panis cor hominis confirmet./ (Ⅳ) - 15 ׃104 ויין ישמח לבב אנוש להצהיל פנים משמן ולחם לבב אנוש יסעד (Ⅴ)

The trees of the LORD are full of sap; the cedars of Lebanon, which he hath planted;

The high hills are a refuge for the wild goats; and the rocks for the conies.
- Les montagnes élevées sont pour les boucs sauvages, Les rochers servent de retraite aux damans. (Ⅱ) - ὄρη τὰ ὑψηλὰ ται̃ς ἐλάφοις πέτρα καταφυγὴ τοι̃ς χοιρογρυλλίοις (Ⅲ) - Montes excelsi cervis ;/ petra refugium herinaciis./ (Ⅳ) - 18 ׃104 הרים הגבהים ליעלים סלעים מחסה לשפנים (Ⅴ)

He appointed the moon for seasons: the sun knoweth his going down.
- Il a fait la lune pour marquer les temps; Le soleil sait quand il doit se coucher. (Ⅱ) - ἐποίησεν σελήνην εἰς καιρούς ὁ ἥλιος ἔγνω τὴν δύσιν αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ) - Fecit lunam in tempora ;/ sol cognovit occasum suum./ (Ⅳ) - 19 ׃104 עשה ירח למועדים שמש ידע מבואו (Ⅴ)

Thou makest darkness, and it is night: wherein all the beasts of the forest do creep forth.
- Tu amènes les ténèbres, et il est nuit: Alors tous les animaux des forêts sont en mouvement; (Ⅱ) - ἔθου σκότος καὶ ἐγένετο νύξ ἐν αὐτη̨̃ διελεύσονται πάντα τὰ θηρία του̃ δρυμου̃ (Ⅲ) - Posuisti tenebras, et facta est nox ;/ in ipsa pertransibunt omnes bestiæ silvæ :/ (Ⅳ) - 20 ׃104 תשת חשך ויהי לילה בו תרמש כל חיתו יער (Ⅴ)

The young lions roar after their prey, and seek their meat from God.
- Les lionceaux rugissent après la proie, Et demandent à Dieu leur nourriture. (Ⅱ) - σκύμνοι ὠρυόμενοι ἁρπάσαι καὶ ζητη̃σαι παρὰ του̃ θεου̃ βρω̃σιν αὐτοι̃ς (Ⅲ) - catuli leonum rugientes ut rapiant,/ et quærant a Deo escam sibi./ (Ⅳ) - 21 ׃104 הכפירים שאגים לטרף ולבקש מאל אכלם (Ⅴ)

The sun ariseth, they gather themselves together, and lay them down in their dens.

Man goeth forth unto his work and to his labour until the evening.
- L'homme sort pour se rendre à son ouvrage, Et à son travail, jusqu'au soir. (Ⅱ) - ἐξελεύσεται ἄνθρωπος ἐπὶ τὸ ἔργον αὐτου̃ καὶ ἐπὶ τὴν ἐργασίαν αὐτου̃ ἕως ἑσπέρας (Ⅲ) - Exibit homo ad opus suum,/ et ad operationem suam usque ad vesperum./ (Ⅳ) - 23 ׃104 יצא אדם לפעלו ולעבדתו עדי ערב (Ⅴ)

O LORD, how manifold are thy works! in wisdom hast thou made them all: the earth is full of thy riches.
- Que tes oeuvres sont en grand nombre, ô Éternel! Tu les as toutes faites avec sagesse. La terre est remplie de tes biens. So is this great and wide sea, wherein are things creeping innumerable, both small and great beasts.
- Voici la grande et vaste mer: Là se meuvent sans nombre Des animaux petits et grands; (Ⅱ) - αὕτη ἡ θάλασσα ἡ μεγάλη καὶ εὐρύχωρος ἐκει̃ ἑρπετά ὡ̃ν οὐκ ἔστιν ἀριθμός ζω̨̃α μικρὰ μετὰ μεγάλων (Ⅲ) - Hoc mare magnum et spatiosum manibus ;/ illic reptilia quorum non est numerus :/ animalia pusilla cum magnis./ (Ⅳ) - 25 ׃104 זה הים גדול ורחב ידים שם רמש ואין מספר חיות קטנות עם גדלות (Ⅴ)

There go the ships: there is that leviathan, whom thou hast made to play therein.
- Là se promènent les navires, Et ce léviathan que tu as formé pour se jouer dans les flots. (Ⅱ) - ἐκει̃ πλοι̃α διαπορεύονται δράκων οὑ̃τος ὃν ἔπλασας ἐμπαίζειν αὐτω̨̃ (Ⅲ) - Illic naves pertransibunt ;/ draco iste quem formasti ad illudendum ei./ (Ⅳ) - 26 ׃104 שם אניות יהלכון לויתן זה יצרת לשחק בו (Ⅴ)

These wait all upon thee; that thou mayest give them their meat in due season.
- Tous ces animaux espèrent en toi, Pour que tu leur donnes la nourriture en son temps. (Ⅱ) - πάντα πρὸς σὲ προσδοκω̃σιν δου̃ναι τὴν τροφὴν αὐτοι̃ς εὔκαιρον (Ⅲ) - Omnia a te expectant/ ut des illis escam in tempore./ (Ⅳ) - 27 ׃104 כלם אליך ישברון לתת אכלם בעתו (Ⅴ)

That thou givest them they gather: thou openest thine hand, they are filled with good.
- Tu la leur donnes, et ils la recueillent; Tu ouvres ta main, et ils se rassasient de biens. (Ⅱ) - δόντος σου αὐτοι̃ς συλλέξουσιν ἀνοίξαντος δέ σου τὴν χει̃ρα τὰ σύμπαντα πλησθήσονται χρηστότητος (Ⅲ) - Dante te illis, colligent ;/ aperiente te manum tuam, omnia implebuntur bonitate./ (Ⅳ) - 28 ׃104 תתן להם ילקטון תפתח ידך ישבעון טוב (Ⅴ)

Thou hidest thy face, they are troubled: thou takest away their breath, they die, and return to their dust.

(Ⅱ) - ἀποστρέψαντος δέ σου τὸ πρόσωπον ταραχθήσονται ἀντανελει̃ς τὸ πνευ̃μα αὐτω̃ν καὶ ἐκλείψουσιν καὶ εἰς τὸν χου̃ν αὐτω̃ν ἐπιστρέψουσιν (Ⅲ) - Avertente autem te faciem, turbabuntur ;/ auferes spiritum eorum, et deficient,/ et in pulverem suum revertentur./ (Ⅳ) - 29 ׃104 תסתיר פניך יבהלון תסף רוחם יגועון ואל עפרם ישובון (Ⅴ)

Thou sendest forth thy spirit, they are created: and thou renewest the face of the earth.
- Tu envoies ton souffle: ils sont créés, Et tu renouvelles la face de la terre. (Ⅱ) - ἐξαποστελει̃ς τὸ πνευ̃μά σου καὶ κτισθήσονται καὶ ἀνακαινιει̃ς τὸ πρόσωπον τη̃ς γη̃ς (Ⅲ) - Emittes spiritum tuum, et creabuntur,/ et renovabis faciem terræ./ (Ⅳ) - 30 ׃104 תשלח רוחך יבראון ותחדש פני אדמה (Ⅴ)

The glory of the LORD shall endure for ever: the LORD shall rejoice in his works.
- Que la gloire de l'Éternel subsiste à jamais! Que l'Éternel se réjouisse de ses oeuvres! He looketh on the earth, and it trembleth: he toucheth the hills, and they smoke.

I will sing unto the LORD as long as I live: I will sing praise to my God while I have my being.

My meditation of him shall be sweet: I will be glad in the LORD.

Let the sinners be consumed out of the earth, and let the wicked be no more. Bless thou the LORD, O my soul. Praise ye the LORD.
- Que les pécheurs disparaissent de la terre, Et que les méchants ne soient plus! Mon âme, bénis l'Éternel! Louez l'Éternel! (Ⅱ) - ἐκλίποισαν ἁμαρτωλοὶ ἀπὸ τη̃ς γη̃ς καὶ ἄνομοι ὥστε μὴ ὑπάρχειν αὐτούς εὐλόγει ἡ ψυχή μου τὸν κύριον (Ⅲ) - Deficiant peccatores a terra,/ et iniqui, ita ut non sint./ Benedic, anima mea, Domino.] (Ⅳ) - 35 ׃104 יתמו חטאים מן הארץ ורשעים עוד אינם ברכי נפשי את יהוה הללו יה (Ⅴ)
