- Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy; (Ⅱ) - εἰπάτωσαν οἱ λελυτρωμένοι ὑπὸ κυρίου οὓς ἐλυτρώσατο ἐκ χειρὸς ἐχθρου̃ (Ⅲ) - Dicant qui redempti sunt a Domino,/ quos redemit de manu inimici,/ et de regionibus congregavit eos,/ (Ⅳ) - 2 ׃107 יאמרו גאולי יהוה אשר גאלם מיד צר (Ⅴ)

Et qu'il a rassemblés de tous les pays, De l'orient et de l'occident, du nord et de la mer!
- And gathered them out of the lands, from the east, and from the west, from the north, and from the south. Ils erraient dans le désert, ils marchaient dans la solitude, Sans trouver une ville où ils pussent habiter.
- They wandered in the wilderness in a solitary way; they found no city to dwell in. (Ⅱ) - ἐπλανήθησαν ἐν τη̨̃ ἐρήμω̨ ἐν ἀνύδρω̨ ὁδὸν πόλεως κατοικητηρίου οὐχ εὑ̃ρον (Ⅲ) - Erraverunt in solitudine, in inaquoso ;/ viam civitatis habitaculi non invenerunt./ (Ⅳ) - 4 ׃107 תעו במדבר בישימון דרך עיר מושב לא מצאו (Ⅴ)

Il les conduisit par le droit chemin, Pour qu'ils arrivassent dans une ville habitable.

Parce qu'ils s'étaient révoltés contre les paroles de Dieu, Parce qu'ils avaient méprisé le conseil du Très Haut.

Les insensés, par leur conduite coupable Et par leurs iniquités, s'étaient rendus malheureux.
- Fools because of their transgression, and because of their iniquities, are afflicted. - And let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare his works with rejoicing. (Ⅱ) - καὶ θυσάτωσαν θυσίαν αἰνέσεως καὶ ἐξαγγειλάτωσαν τὰ ἔργα αὐτου̃ ἐν ἀγαλλιάσει (Ⅲ) - Et sacrificent sacrificium laudis,/ et annuntient opera ejus in exsultatione./ (Ⅳ) - 22 ׃107 ויזבחו זבחי תודה ויספרו מעשיו ברנה [8]׆ (Ⅴ)

Ceux qui étaient descendus sur la mer dans des navires, Et qui travaillaient sur les grandes eaux,
- They that go down to the sea in ships, that do business in great waters; (Ⅱ) - οἱ καταβαίνοντες εἰς τὴν θάλασσαν ἐν πλοίοις ποιου̃ντες ἐργασίαν ἐν ὕδασι πολλοι̃ς (Ⅲ) - Qui descendunt mare in navibus,/ facientes operationem in aquis multis :/ (Ⅳ) - 23 ׃107 יורדי הים באניות עשי מלאכה במים רבים [8]׆ (Ⅴ)

Ceux-là virent les oeuvres de l'Éternel Et ses merveilles au milieu de l'abîme.
- These see the works of the LORD, and his wonders in the deep. (Ⅱ) - αὐτοὶ εἴδοσαν τὰ ἔργα κυρίου καὶ τὰ θαυμάσια αὐτου̃ ἐν τω̨̃ βυθω̨̃ (Ⅲ) - ipsi viderunt opera Domini,/ et mirabilia ejus in profundo./ (Ⅳ) - 24 ׃107 המה ראו מעשי יהוה ונפלאותיו במצולה [8]׆ (Ⅴ)

- For he commandeth, and raiseth the stormy wind, which lifteth up the waves thereof. (Ⅱ) - εἰ̃πεν καὶ ἔστη πνευ̃μα καταιγίδος καὶ ὑψώθη τὰ κύματα αὐτη̃ς (Ⅲ) - Dixit, et stetit spiritus procellæ,/ et exaltati sunt fluctus ejus./ (Ⅳ) - 25 ׃107 ויאמר ויעמד רוח סערה ותרומם גליו [8]׆ (Ⅴ)

Ils montaient vers les cieux, ils descendaient dans l'abîme; Leur âme était éperdue en face du danger;
- They mount up to the heaven, they go down again to the depths: their soul is melted because of trouble. (Ⅱ) - ἀναβαίνουσιν ἕως τω̃ν οὐρανω̃ν καὶ καταβαίνουσιν ἕως τω̃ν ἀβύσσων ἡ ψυχὴ αὐτω̃ν ἐν κακοι̃ς ἐτήκετο (Ⅲ) - Ascendunt usque ad cælos, et descendunt usque ad abyssos ;/ anima eorum in malis tabescebat./ (Ⅳ) - 26 ׃107 יעלו שמים ירדו תהומות נפשם ברעה תתמוגג (Ⅴ)

Saisis de vertige, ils chancelaient comme un homme ivre, Et toute leur habileté était anéantie.
- They reel to and fro, and stagger like a drunken man, and are at their wit's end. (Ⅱ) - ἐταράχθησαν ἐσαλεύθησαν ὡς ὁ μεθύων καὶ πα̃σα ἡ σοφία αὐτω̃ν κατεπόθη (Ⅲ) - Turbati sunt, et moti sunt sicut ebrius,/ et omnis sapientia eorum devorata est./ (Ⅳ) - 27 ׃107 יחוגו וינועו כשכור וכל חכמתם תתבלע (Ⅴ)

Il arrêta la tempête, ramena le calme, Et les ondes se turent.
- He maketh the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐπέταξεν τη̨̃ καταιγίδι καὶ ἔστη εἰς αὔραν καὶ ἐσίγησαν τὰ κύματα αὐτη̃ς (Ⅲ) - Et statuit procellam ejus in auram,/ et siluerunt fluctus ejus./ (Ⅳ) - 29 ׃107 יקם סערה לדממה ויחשו גליהם (Ⅴ)

Ils se réjouirent de ce qu'elles s'étaient apaisées, Et l'Éternel les conduisit au port désiré.
- Then are they glad because they be quiet; so he bringeth them unto their desired haven. (Ⅱ) - καὶ εὐφράνθησαν ὅτι ἡσύχασαν καὶ ὡδήγησεν αὐτοὺς ἐπὶ λιμένα θελήματος αὐτω̃ν (Ⅲ) - Et lætati sunt quia siluerunt ;/ et deduxit eos in portum voluntatis eorum./ (Ⅳ) - 30 ׃107 וישמחו כי ישתקו וינחם אל מחוז חפצם (Ⅴ)

Qu'ils l'exaltent dans l'assemblée du peuple, Et qu'ils le célèbrent dans la réunion des anciens!
- Let them exalt him also in the congregation of the people, and praise him in the assembly of the elders. (Ⅱ) - ὑψωσάτωσαν αὐτὸν ἐν ἐκκλησία̨ λαου̃ καὶ ἐν καθέδρα̨ πρεσβυτέρων αἰνεσάτωσαν αὐτόν (Ⅲ) - Et exaltent eum in ecclesia plebis,/ et in cathedra seniorum laudent eum./ (Ⅳ) - 32 ׃107 וירממוהו בקהל עם ובמושב זקנים יהללוהו (Ⅴ)

Il change les fleuves en désert, Et les sources d'eaux en terre desséchée,
- He turneth rivers into a wilderness, and the watersprings into dry ground; (Ⅱ) - ἔθετο ποταμοὺς εἰς ἔρημον καὶ διεξόδους ὑδάτων εἰς δίψαν (Ⅲ) - Posuit flumina in desertum,/ et exitus aquarum in sitim ;/ (Ⅳ) - 33 ׃107 ישם נהרות למדבר ומצאי מים לצמאון (Ⅴ)

Le pays fertile en pays salé, A cause de la méchanceté de ses habitants.
- A fruitful land into barrenness, for the wickedness of them that dwell therein. (Ⅱ) - γη̃ν καρποφόρον εἰς ἅλμην ἀπὸ κακίας τω̃ν κατοικούντων ἐν αὐτη̨̃ (Ⅲ) - terram fructiferam in salsuginem,/ a malitia inhabitantium in ea./ (Ⅳ) - 34 ׃107 ארץ פרי למלחה מרעת ישבי בה (Ⅴ)

Il change le désert en étang, Et la terre aride en sources d'eaux,
- He turneth the wilderness into a standing water, and dry ground into watersprings. (Ⅱ) - ἔθετο ἔρημον εἰς λίμνας ὑδάτων καὶ γη̃ν ἄνυδρον εἰς διεξόδους ὑδάτων (Ⅲ) - Posuit desertum in stagna aquarum,/ et terram sine aqua in exitus aquarum./ (Ⅳ) - 35 ׃107 ישם מדבר לאגם מים וארץ ציה למצאי מים (Ⅴ)

Et il y établit ceux qui sont affamés. Ils fondent une ville pour l'habiter;
- And there he maketh the hungry to dwell, that they may prepare a city for habitation; (Ⅱ) - καὶ κατώ̨κισεν ἐκει̃ πεινω̃ντας καὶ συνεστήσαντο πόλιν κατοικεσίας (Ⅲ) - Et collocavit illic esurientes,/ et constituerunt civitatem habitationis :/ (Ⅳ) - 36 ׃107 ויושב שם רעבים ויכוננו עיר מושב (Ⅴ)

Ils ensemencent des champs, plantent des vignes, Et ils en recueillent les produits.
- And sow the fields, and plant vineyards, which may yield fruits of increase. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἔσπειραν ἀγροὺς καὶ ἐφύτευσαν ἀμπελω̃νας καὶ ἐποίησαν καρπὸν γενήματος (Ⅲ) - et seminaverunt agros et plantaverunt vineas,/ et fecerunt fructum nativitatis./ (Ⅳ) - 37 ׃107 ויזרעו שדות ויטעו כרמים ויעשו פרי תבואה (Ⅴ)

Il les bénit, et ils deviennent très nombreux, Et il ne diminue point leur bétail.
- He blesseth them also, so that they are multiplied greatly; and suffereth not their cattle to decrease. Sont-ils amoindris et humiliés Par l'oppression, le malheur et la souffrance;
- Again, they are minished and brought low through oppression, affliction, and sorrow. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ὠλιγώθησαν καὶ ἐκακώθησαν ἀπὸ θλίψεως κακω̃ν καὶ ὀδύνης (Ⅲ) - Et pauci facti sunt et vexati sunt,/ a tribulatione malorum et dolore./ (Ⅳ) - 39 ׃107 וימעטו וישחו מעצר רעה ויגון [8]׆ (Ⅴ)

Verse-t-il le mépris sur les grands, Les fait-il errer dans des déserts sans chemin,
- He poureth contempt upon princes, and causeth them to wander in the wilderness, where there is no way. (Ⅱ) - ἐξεχύθη ἐξουδένωσις ἐπ' ἄρχοντας καὶ ἐπλάνησεν αὐτοὺς ἐν ἀβάτω̨ καὶ οὐχ ὁδω̨̃ (Ⅲ) - Effusa est contemptio super principes :/ et errare fecit eos in invio, et non in via./ (Ⅳ) - 40 ׃107 שפך בוז על נדיבים ויתעם בתהו לא דרך (Ⅴ)

Il relève l'indigent et le délivre de la misère, Il multiplie les familles comme des troupeaux.
- Yet setteth he the poor on high from affliction, and maketh him families like a flock. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐβοήθησεν πένητι ἐκ πτωχείας καὶ ἔθετο ὡς πρόβατα πατριάς (Ⅲ) - Et adjuvit pauperem de inopia,/ et posuit sicut oves familias./ (Ⅳ) - 41 ׃107 וישגב אביון מעוני וישם כצאן משפחות (Ⅴ)

Les hommes droits le voient et se réjouissent, Mais toute iniquité ferme la bouche.
- The righteous shall see it, and rejoice: and all iniquity shall stop her mouth. (Ⅱ) - ὄψονται εὐθει̃ς καὶ εὐφρανθήσονται καὶ πα̃σα ἀνομία ἐμφράξει τὸ στόμα αὐτη̃ς (Ⅲ) - Videbunt recti, et lætabuntur ;/ et omnis iniquitas oppilabit os suum./ (Ⅳ) - 42 ׃107 יראו ישרים וישמחו וכל עולה קפצה פיה (Ⅴ)

Que celui qui est sage prenne garde à ces choses, Et qu'il soit attentif aux bontés de l'Éternel.
- Whoso is wise, and will observe these things, even they shall understand the lovingkindness of the LORD. (Ⅱ) - τίς σοφὸς καὶ φυλάξει ταυ̃τα καὶ συνήσουσιν τὰ ἐλέη του̃ κυρίου (Ⅲ) - Quis sapiens, et custodiet hæc,/ et intelliget misericordias Domini ?] (Ⅳ) - 43 ׃107 מי חכם וישמר אלה ויתבוננו חסדי יהוה (Ⅴ)
