αλληλουια ἠγάπησα ὅτι εἰσακούσεται κύριος τη̃ς φωνη̃ς τη̃ς δεήσεώς μου

ὅτι ἔκλινεν τὸ οὐ̃ς αὐτου̃ ἐμοί καὶ ἐν ται̃ς ἡμέραις μου ἐπικαλέσομαι
- Car il a penché son oreille vers moi; Et je l'invoquerai toute ma vie. (Ⅱ) - Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live. (Ⅲ) - Quia inclinavit aurem suam mihi,/ et in diebus meis invocabo./ (Ⅳ) - 2 ׃116 כי הטה אזנו לי ובימי אקרא (Ⅴ)

περιέσχον με ὠδι̃νες θανάτου κίνδυνοι ἅ̨δου εὕροσάν με θλι̃ψιν καὶ ὀδύνην εὑ̃ρον
- Les liens de la mort m'avaient environné, Et les angoisses du sépulcre m'avaient saisi; J'étais en proie à la détresse et à la douleur. (Ⅱ) - The sorrows of death compassed me, and the pains of hell gat hold upon me: I found trouble and sorrow. (Ⅲ) - Circumdederunt me dolores mortis ;/ et pericula inferni invenerunt me./ Tribulationem et dolorem inveni,/ (Ⅳ) - 3 ׃116 אפפוני חבלי מות ומצרי שאול מצאוני צרה ויגון אמצא (Ⅴ)

καὶ τὸ ὄνομα κυρίου ἐπεκαλεσάμην ὠ̃ κύριε ῥυ̃σαι τὴν ψυχήν μου
- Mais j'invoquerai le nom de l'Éternel: O Éternel, sauve mon âme! (Ⅱ) - Then called I upon the name of the LORD; O LORD, I beseech thee, deliver my soul. (Ⅲ) - et nomen Domini invocavi :/ o Domine, libera animam meam./ (Ⅳ) - 4 ׃116 ובשם יהוה אקרא אנה יהוה מלטה נפשי (Ⅴ)

ἐλεήμων ὁ κύριος καὶ δίκαιος καὶ ὁ θεὸς ἡμω̃ν ἐλεα̨̃
- L'Éternel est miséricordieux et juste, Notre Dieu est plein de compassion; (Ⅱ) - Gracious is the LORD, and righteous; yea, our God is merciful. (Ⅲ) - Misericors Dominus et justus,/ et Deus noster miseretur./ (Ⅳ) - 5 ׃116 חנון יהוה וצדיק ואלהינו מרחם (Ⅴ)

φυλάσσων τὰ νήπια ὁ κύριος ἐταπεινώθην καὶ ἔσωσέν με
- L'Éternel garde les simples; J'étais malheureux, et il m'a sauvé. (Ⅱ) - The LORD preserveth the simple: I was brought low, and he helped me. (Ⅲ) - Custodiens parvulos Dominus ;/ humiliatus sum, et liberavit me./ (Ⅳ) - 6 ׃116 שמר פתאים יהוה דלותי ולי יהושיע (Ⅴ)

ἐπίστρεψον ἡ ψυχή μου εἰς τὴν ἀνάπαυσίν σου ὅτι κύριος εὐηργέτησέν σε
- Mon âme, retourne à ton repos, Car l'Éternel t'a fait du bien. (Ⅱ) - Return unto thy rest, O my soul; for the LORD hath dealt bountifully with thee. (Ⅲ) - Convertere, anima mea, in requiem tuam,/ quia Dominus benefecit tibi :/ (Ⅳ) - 7 ׃116 שובי נפשי למנוחיכי כי יהוה גמל עליכי (Ⅴ)

ὅτι ἐξείλατο τὴν ψυχήν μου ἐκ θανάτου τοὺς ὀφθαλμούς μου ἀπὸ δακρύων καὶ τοὺς πόδας μου ἀπὸ ὀλισθήματος
- Oui, tu as délivré mon âme de la mort, Mes yeux des larmes, Mes pieds de la chute. (Ⅱ) - For thou hast delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, and my feet from falling. (Ⅲ) - quia eripuit animam meam de morte,/ oculos meos a lacrimis,/ pedes meos a lapsu./ (Ⅳ) - 8 ׃116 כי חלצת נפשי ממות את עיני מן דמעה את רגלי מדחי (Ⅴ)

εὐαρεστήσω ἐναντίον κυρίου ἐν χώρα̨ ζώντων

αλληλουια ἐπίστευσα διὸ ἐλάλησα ἐγὼ δὲ ἐταπεινώθην σφόδρα

τί ἀνταποδώσω τω̨̃ κυρίω̨ περὶ πάντων ὡ̃ν ἀνταπέδωκέν μοι
- Comment rendrai-je à l'Éternel Tous ses bienfaits envers moi? (Ⅱ) - What shall I render unto the LORD for all his benefits toward me? (Ⅲ) - Quid retribuam Domino/ pro omnibus quæ retribuit mihi ?/ (Ⅳ) - 12 ׃116 מה אשיב ליהוה כל תגמולוהי עלי (Ⅴ)

ποτήριον σωτηρίου λήμψομαι καὶ τὸ ὄνομα κυρίου ἐπικαλέσομαι
- J'élèverai la coupe des délivrances, Et j'invoquerai le nom de l'Éternel; (Ⅱ) - I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the LORD. (Ⅲ) - Calicem salutaris accipiam,/ et nomen Domini invocabo./ (Ⅳ) - 13 ׃116 כוס ישועות אשא ובשם יהוה אקרא (Ⅴ)

τίμιος ἐναντίον κυρίου ὁ θάνατος τω̃ν ὁσίων αὐτου̃
- Elle a du prix aux yeux de l'Éternel, La mort de ceux qui l'aiment. (Ⅱ) - Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints. (Ⅲ) - Pretiosa in conspectu Domini/ mors sanctorum ejus./ (Ⅳ) - 15 ׃116 יקר בעיני יהוה המותה לחסידיו (Ⅴ)

ὠ̃ κύριε ἐγὼ δου̃λος σός ἐγὼ δου̃λος σὸς καὶ υἱὸς τη̃ς παιδίσκης σου διέρρηξας τοὺς δεσμούς μου
- Écoute-moi, ô Éternel! car je suis ton serviteur, Ton serviteur, fils de ta servante. Tu as détaché mes liens. (Ⅱ) - O LORD, truly I am thy servant; I am thy servant, and the son of thine handmaid: thou hast loosed my bonds. (Ⅲ) - O Domine, quia ego servus tuus ;/ ego servus tuus, et filius ancillæ tuæ./ Dirupisti vincula mea :/ (Ⅳ) - 16 ׃116 אנה יהוה כי אני עבדך אני עבדך בן אמתך פתחת למוסרי (Ⅴ)

σοὶ θύσω θυσίαν αἰνέσεως
- Je t'offrirai un sacrifice d'actions de grâces, Et j'invoquerai le nom de l'Éternel; (Ⅱ) - I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon the name of the LORD. (Ⅲ) - tibi sacrificabo hostiam laudis,/ et nomen Domini invocabo./ (Ⅳ) - 17 ׃116 לך אזבח זבח תודה ובשם יהוה אקרא (Ⅴ)

τὰς εὐχάς μου τω̨̃ κυρίω̨ ἀποδώσω ἐναντίον παντὸς του̃ λαου̃ αὐτου̃

ἐν αὐλαι̃ς οἴκου κυρίου ἐν μέσω̨ σου Ιερουσαλημ
- Dans les parvis de la maison de l'Éternel, Au milieu de toi, Jérusalem! Louez l'Éternel! (Ⅱ) - In the courts of the LORD's house, in the midst of thee, O Jerusalem. Praise ye the LORD. (Ⅲ) - in atriis domus Domini,/ in medio tui, Jerusalem.] (Ⅳ) - 19 ׃116 בחצרות בית יהוה בתוככי ירושלם הללו יה (Ⅴ)
