Canticum graduum. [Ad Dominum cum tribularer clamavi,/ et exaudivit me./
- Cantique des degrés. Dans ma détresse, c'est à l'Éternel Que je crie, et il m'exauce. (Ⅱ) - In my distress I cried unto the LORD, and he heard me. (Ⅲ) - ὠ̨δὴ τω̃ν ἀναβαθμω̃ν πρὸς κύριον ἐν τω̨̃ θλίβεσθαί με ἐκέκραξα καὶ εἰσήκουσέν μου (Ⅳ) - 1 ׃120 שיר המעלות אל יהוה בצרתה לי קראתי ויענני (Ⅴ)

Domine, libera animam meam a labiis iniquis/ et a lingua dolosa./
- Éternel, délivre mon âme de la lèvre mensongère, De la langue trompeuse! (Ⅱ) - Deliver my soul, O LORD, from lying lips, and from a deceitful tongue. (Ⅲ) - κύριε ῥυ̃σαι τὴν ψυχήν μου ἀπὸ χειλέων ἀδίκων καὶ ἀπὸ γλώσσης δολίας (Ⅳ) - 2 ׃120 יהוה הצילה נפשי משפת שקר מלשון רמיה (Ⅴ)

Quid detur tibi, aut quid apponatur tibi/ ad linguam dolosam ?/
- Que te donne, que te rapporte Une langue trompeuse? (Ⅱ) - What shall be given unto thee? or what shall be done unto thee, thou false tongue? (Ⅲ) - τί δοθείη σοι καὶ τί προστεθείη σοι πρὸς γλω̃σσαν δολίαν (Ⅳ) - 3 ׃120 מה יתן לך ומה יסיף לך לשון רמיה (Ⅴ)

Sagittæ potentis acutæ,/ cum carbonibus desolatoriis./
- Les traits aigus du guerrier, Avec les charbons ardents du genêt. (Ⅱ) - Sharp arrows of the mighty, with coals of juniper. (Ⅲ) - τὰ βέλη του̃ δυνατου̃ ἠκονημένα σὺν τοι̃ς ἄνθραξιν τοι̃ς ἐρημικοι̃ς (Ⅳ) - 4 ׃120 חצי גבור שנונים עם גחלי רתמים (Ⅴ)

Heu mihi, quia incolatus meus prolongatus est !/ habitavi cum habitantibus Cedar ;/
- Malheureux que je suis de séjourner à Méschec, D'habiter parmi les tentes de Kédar! (Ⅱ) - Woe is me, that I sojourn in Mesech, that I dwell in the tents of Kedar! (Ⅲ) - οἴμμοι ὅτι ἡ παροικία μου ἐμακρύνθη κατεσκήνωσα μετὰ τω̃ν σκηνωμάτων Κηδαρ (Ⅳ) - 5 ׃120 אויה לי כי גרתי משך שכנתי עם אהלי קדר (Ⅴ)

multum incola fuit anima mea./
- Assez longtemps mon âme a demeuré Auprès de ceux qui haïssent la paix. (Ⅱ) - My soul hath long dwelt with him that hateth peace. (Ⅲ) - πολλὰ παρώ̨κησεν ἡ ψυχή μου (Ⅳ) - 6 ׃120 רבת שכנה לה נפשי עם שונא שלום (Ⅴ)

Cum his qui oderunt pacem eram pacificus ;/ cum loquebar illis, impugnabant me gratis.]
- Je suis pour la paix; mais dès que je parle, Ils sont pour la guerre. (Ⅱ) - I am for peace: but when I speak, they are for war. (Ⅲ) - μετὰ τω̃ν μισούντων τὴν εἰρήνην ἤμην εἰρηνικός ὅταν ἐλάλουν αὐτοι̃ς ἐπολέμουν με δωρεάν (Ⅳ) - 7 ׃120 אני שלום וכי אדבר המה למלחמה (Ⅴ)
