τω̨̃ Δαυιδ ἐπὶ τω̃ν ποταμω̃ν Βαβυλω̃νος ἐκει̃ ἐκαθίσαμεν καὶ ἐκλαύσαμεν ἐν τω̨̃ μνησθη̃ναι ἡμα̃ς τη̃ς Σιων
- Sur les bords des fleuves de Babylone, Nous étions assis et nous pleurions, en nous souvenant de Sion. (Ⅱ) - By the rivers of Babylon, there we sat down, yea, we wept, when we remembered Zion. (Ⅲ) - Psalmus David, Jeremiæ. [Super flumina Babylonis illic sedimus et flevimus,/ cum recordaremur Sion./ (Ⅳ) - 1 ׃137 על נהרות בבל שם ישבנו גם בכינו בזכרנו את ציון (Ⅴ)

ἐπὶ ται̃ς ἰτέαις ἐν μέσω̨ αὐτη̃ς ἐκρεμάσαμεν τὰ ὄργανα ἡμω̃ν
- Aux saules de la contrée Nous avions suspendu nos harpes. (Ⅱ) - We hanged our harps upon the willows in the midst thereof. (Ⅲ) - In salicibus in medio ejus/ suspendimus organa nostra :/ (Ⅳ) - 2 ׃137 על ערבים בתוכה תלינו כנרותינו (Ⅴ)

ὅτι ἐκει̃ ἐπηρώτησαν ἡμα̃ς οἱ αἰχμαλωτεύσαντες ἡμα̃ς λόγους ὠ̨δω̃ν καὶ οἱ ἀπαγαγόντες ἡμα̃ς ὕμνον ἄ̨σατε ἡμι̃ν ἐκ τω̃ν ὠ̨δω̃ν Σιων
- Là, nos vainqueurs nous demandaient des chants, Et nos oppresseurs de la joie: Chantez-nous quelques-uns des cantiques de Sion! (Ⅱ) - For there they that carried us away captive required of us a song; and they that wasted us required of us mirth, saying, Sing us one of the songs of Zion. (Ⅲ) - quia illic interrogaverunt nos, qui captivos duxerunt nos,/ verba cantionum ;/ et qui abduxerunt nos :/ Hymnum cantate nobis de canticis Sion./ (Ⅳ) - 3 ׃137 כי שם שאלונו שובינו דברי שיר ותוללינו שמחה שירו לנו משיר ציון (Ⅴ)

πω̃ς ἄ̨σωμεν τὴν ὠ̨δὴν κυρίου ἐπὶ γη̃ς ἀλλοτρίας

ἐὰν ἐπιλάθωμαί σου Ιερουσαλημ ἐπιλησθείη ἡ δεξιά μου
- Si je t'oublie, Jérusalem, Que ma droite m'oublie! (Ⅱ) - If I forget thee, O Jerusalem, let my right hand forget her cunning. (Ⅲ) - Si oblitus fuero tui, Jerusalem,/ oblivioni detur dextera mea./ (Ⅳ) - 5 ׃137 אם אשכחך ירושלם תשכח ימיני (Ⅴ)

κολληθείη ἡ γλω̃σσά μου τω̨̃ λάρυγγί μου ἐὰν μή σου μνησθω̃ ἐὰν μὴ προανατάξωμαι τὴν Ιερουσαλημ ἐν ἀρχη̨̃ τη̃ς εὐφροσύνης μου
- Que ma langue s'attache à mon palais, Si je ne me souviens de toi, Si je ne fais de Jérusalem Le principal sujet de ma joie! (Ⅱ) - If I do not remember thee, let my tongue cleave to the roof of my mouth; if I prefer not Jerusalem above my chief joy. (Ⅲ) - Adhæreat lingua mea faucibus meis,/ si non meminero tui ;/ si non proposuero Jerusalem/ in principio lætitiæ meæ./ (Ⅳ) - 6 ׃137 תדבק לשוני לחכי אם לא אזכרכי אם לא אעלה את ירושלם על ראש שמחתי (Ⅴ)

μνήσθητι κύριε τω̃ν υἱω̃ν Εδωμ τὴν ἡμέραν Ιερουσαλημ τω̃ν λεγόντων ἐκκενου̃τε ἐκκενου̃τε ἕως ὁ θεμέλιος ἐν αὐτη̨̃
- Éternel, souviens-toi des enfants d'Édom, Qui, dans la journée de Jérusalem, Disaient: Rasez, rasez Jusqu'à ses fondements! (Ⅱ) - Remember, O LORD, the children of Edom in the day of Jerusalem; who said, Rase it, rase it, even to the foundation thereof. (Ⅲ) - Memor esto, Domine, filiorum Edom,/ in die Jerusalem :/ qui dicunt : Exinanite, exinanite/ usque ad fundamentum in ea./ (Ⅳ) - 7 ׃137 זכר יהוה לבני אדום את יום ירושלם האמרים ערו ערו עד היסוד בה (Ⅴ)

θυγάτηρ Βαβυλω̃νος ἡ ταλαίπωρος μακάριος ὃς ἀνταποδώσει σοι τὸ ἀνταπόδομά σου ὃ ἀνταπέδωκας ἡμι̃ν
- Fille de Babylone, la dévastée, Heureux qui te rend la pareille, Le mal que tu nous as fait! (Ⅱ) - O daughter of Babylon, who art to be destroyed; happy shall he be, that rewardeth thee as thou hast served us. (Ⅲ) - Filia Babylonis misera ! beatus qui retribuet tibi/ retributionem tuam quam retribuisti nobis./ (Ⅳ) - 8 ׃137 בת בבל השדודה אשרי שישלם לך את גמולך שגמלת לנו (Ⅴ)

μακάριος ὃς κρατήσει καὶ ἐδαφιει̃ τὰ νήπιά σου πρὸς τὴν πέτραν
- Heureux qui saisit tes enfants, Et les écrase sur le roc! (Ⅱ) - Happy shall he be, that taketh and dasheth thy little ones against the stones. (Ⅲ) - Beatus qui tenebit,/ et allidet parvulos tuos ad petram.] (Ⅳ) - 9 ׃137 אשרי שיאחז ונפץ את עלליך אל הסלע (Ⅴ)
