Ne vous confiez pas aux grands, Aux fils de l'homme, qui ne peuvent sauver.

Leur souffle s'en va, ils rentrent dans la terre, Et ce même jour leurs desseins périssent.
- His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish. (Ⅱ) - ἐξελεύσεται τὸ πνευ̃μα αὐτου̃ καὶ ἐπιστρέψει εἰς τὴν γη̃ν αὐτου̃ ἐν ἐκείνη̨ τη̨̃ ἡμέρα̨ ἀπολου̃νται πάντες οἱ διαλογισμοὶ αὐτω̃ν (Ⅲ) - Exibit spiritus ejus, et revertetur in terram suam ;/ in illa die peribunt omnes cogitationes eorum./ (Ⅳ) - 4 ׃146 תצא רוחו ישב לאדמתו ביום ההוא אבדו עשתנתיו (Ⅴ)

Heureux celui qui a pour secours le Dieu de Jacob, Qui met son espoir en l'Éternel, son Dieu!

Il a fait les cieux et la terre, La mer et tout ce qui s'y trouve. Il garde la fidélité à toujours.

Il fait droit aux opprimés; Il donne du pain aux affamés; L'Éternel délivre les captifs;
- Which executeth judgment for the oppressed: which giveth food to the hungry. The LORD looseth the prisoners: (Ⅱ) - ποιου̃ντα κρίμα τοι̃ς ἀδικουμένοις διδόντα τροφὴν τοι̃ς πεινω̃σιν κύριος λύει πεπεδημένους (Ⅲ) - Qui custodit veritatem in sæculum ;/ facit judicium injuriam patientibus ;/ dat escam esurientibus./ Dominus solvit compeditos ;/ (Ⅳ) - 7 ׃146 עשה משפט לעשוקים נתן לחם לרעבים יהוה מתיר אסורים (Ⅴ)

L'Éternel ouvre les yeux des aveugles; L'Éternel redresse ceux qui sont courbés; L'Éternel aime les justes.
- The LORD openeth the eyes of the blind: the LORD raiseth them that are bowed down: the LORD loveth the righteous: (Ⅱ) - κύριος ἀνορθοι̃ κατερραγμένους κύριος σοφοι̃ τυφλούς κύριος ἀγαπα̨̃ δικαίους (Ⅲ) - Dominus illuminat cæcos./ Dominus erigit elisos ;/ Dominus diligit justos./ (Ⅳ) - 8 ׃146 יהוה פקח עורים יהוה זקף כפופים יהוה אהב צדיקים (Ⅴ)

L'Éternel protège les étrangers, Il soutient l'orphelin et la veuve, Mais il renverse la voie des méchants.
- The LORD preserveth the strangers; he relieveth the fatherless and widow: but the way of the wicked he turneth upside down. (Ⅱ) - κύριος φυλάσσει τοὺς προσηλύτους ὀρφανὸν καὶ χήραν ἀναλήμψεται καὶ ὁδὸν ἁμαρτωλω̃ν ἀφανιει̃ (Ⅲ) - Dominus custodit advenas,/ pupillum et viduam suscipiet,/ et vias peccatorum disperdet./ (Ⅳ) - 9 ׃146 יהוה שמר את גרים יתום ואלמנה יעודד ודרך רשעים יעות (Ⅴ)

L'Éternel règne éternellement; Ton Dieu, ô Sion! subsiste d'âge en âge! Louez l'Éternel!
- The LORD shall reign for ever, even thy God, O Zion, unto all generations. Praise ye the LORD. (Ⅱ) - βασιλεύσει κύριος εἰς τὸν αἰω̃να ὁ θεός σου Σιων εἰς γενεὰν καὶ γενεάν (Ⅲ) - Regnabit Dominus in sæcula ;/ Deus tuus, Sion, in generationem et generationem.] (Ⅳ) - 10 ׃146 ימלך יהוה לעולם אלהיך ציון לדר ודר הללו יה (Ⅴ)
