O Éternel, que mes ennemis sont nombreux! Quelle multitude se lève contre moi!
- Lord, how are they increased that trouble me! many are they that rise up against me. (Ⅱ) - κύριε τί ἐπληθύνθησαν οἱ θλίβοντές με πολλοὶ ἐπανίστανται ἐπ' ἐμέ (Ⅲ) - [Domine, quid multiplicati sunt qui tribulant me ?/ Multi insurgunt adversum me ;/ (Ⅳ) - 2 ׃3 יהוה מה רבו צרי רבים קמים עלי (Ⅴ)

Combien qui disent à mon sujet: Plus de salut pour lui auprès de Dieu! -Pause.
- Many there be which say of my soul, There is no help for him in God. Selah. (Ⅱ) - πολλοὶ λέγουσιν τη̨̃ ψυχη̨̃ μου οὐκ ἔστιν σωτηρία αὐτω̨̃ ἐν τω̨̃ θεω̨̃ αὐτου̃ διάψαλμα (Ⅲ) - multi dicunt animæ meæ :/ Non est salus ipsi in Deo ejus./ (Ⅳ) - 3 ׃3 רבים אמרים לנפשי אין ישועתה לו באלהים סלה (Ⅴ)

Mais toi, ô Éternel! tu es mon bouclier, Tu es ma gloire, et tu relèves ma tête.
- But thou, O LORD, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head. (Ⅱ) - σὺ δέ κύριε ἀντιλήμπτωρ μου εἰ̃ δόξα μου καὶ ὑψω̃ν τὴν κεφαλήν μου (Ⅲ) - Tu autem Domine, susceptor meus es,/ gloria mea, et exaltans caput meum./ (Ⅳ) - 4 ׃3 ואתה יהוה מגן בעדי כבודי ומרים ראשי (Ⅴ)

De ma voix je crie à l'Éternel, Et il me répond de sa montagne sainte. -Pause.
- I cried unto the LORD with my voice, and he heard me out of his holy hill. Selah. (Ⅱ) - φωνη̨̃ μου πρὸς κύριον ἐκέκραξα καὶ ἐπήκουσέν μου ἐξ ὄρους ἁγίου αὐτου̃ διάψαλμα (Ⅲ) - Voce mea ad Dominum clamavi ;/ et exaudivit me de monte sancto suo./ (Ⅳ) - 5 ׃3 קולי אל יהוה אקרא ויענני מהר קדשו סלה (Ⅴ)

Je me couche, et je m'endors; Je me réveille, car l'Éternel est mon soutien.
- I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the LORD sustained me. (Ⅱ) - ἐγὼ ἐκοιμήθην καὶ ὕπνωσα ἐξηγέρθην ὅτι κύριος ἀντιλήμψεταί μου (Ⅲ) - Ego dormivi, et soporatus sum ;/ et exsurrexi, quia Dominus suscepit me./ (Ⅳ) - 6 ׃3 אני שכבתי ואישנה הקיצותי כי יהוה יסמכני (Ⅴ)

Je ne crains pas les myriades de peuples Qui m'assiègent de toutes parts.
- I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people, that have set themselves against me round about. (Ⅱ) - οὐ φοβηθήσομαι ἀπὸ μυριάδων λαου̃ τω̃ν κύκλω̨ συνεπιτιθεμένων μοι (Ⅲ) - Non timebo millia populi circumdantis me./ Exsurge, Domine ; salvum me fac, Deus meus./ (Ⅳ) - 7 ׃3 לא אירא מרבבות עם אשר סביב שתו עלי (Ⅴ)

Lève-toi, Éternel! sauve-moi, mon Dieu! Car tu frappes à la joue tous mes ennemis, Tu brises les dents des méchants.
- Arise, O LORD; save me, O my God: for thou hast smitten all mine enemies upon the cheek bone; thou hast broken the teeth of the ungodly. (Ⅱ) - ἀνάστα κύριε σω̃σόν με ὁ θεός μου ὅτι σὺ ἐπάταξας πάντας τοὺς ἐχθραίνοντάς μοι ματαίως ὀδόντας ἁμαρτωλω̃ν συνέτριψας (Ⅲ) - Quoniam tu percussisti omnes adversantes mihi sine causa ;/ dentes peccatorum contrivisti./ (Ⅳ) - 8 ׃3 קומה יהוה הושיעני אלהי כי הכית את כל איבי לחי שני רשעים שברת (Ⅴ)

Le salut est auprès de l'Éternel: Que ta bénédiction soit sur ton peuple! -Pause.
- Salvation belongeth unto the LORD: thy blessing is upon thy people. Selah. (Ⅱ) - του̃ κυρίου ἡ σωτηρία καὶ ἐπὶ τὸν λαόν σου ἡ εὐλογία σου (Ⅲ) - Domini est salus ;/ et super populum tuum benedictio tua.] (Ⅳ) - 9 ׃3 ליהוה הישועה על עמך ברכתך סלה (Ⅴ)
