35. 1  
De David. Éternel! défends-moi contre mes adversaires, Combats ceux qui me combattent!
- Plead my cause, O LORD, with them that strive with me: fight against them that fight against me. (Ⅱ)
- τω̨̃ Δαυιδ δίκασον κύριε τοὺς ἀδικου̃ντάς με πολέμησον τοὺς πολεμου̃ντάς με (Ⅲ)
- Ipsi David. [Judica, Domine, nocentes me ;/ expugna impugnantes me./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 1  ׃35  לדוד ריבה יהוה את יריבי לחם את לחמי ‬ (Ⅴ)
35. 2  
Saisis le petit et le grand bouclier, Et lève-toi pour me secourir!
- Take hold of shield and buckler, and stand up for mine help. (Ⅱ)
- ἐπιλαβου̃ ὅπλου καὶ θυρεου̃ καὶ ἀνάστηθι εἰς βοήθειάν μου (Ⅲ)
- Apprehende arma et scutum,/ et exsurge in adjutorium mihi./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 2  ׃35  החזק מגן וצנה וקומה בעזרתי ‬ (Ⅴ)
35. 3  
Brandis la lance et le javelot contre mes persécuteurs! Dis à mon âme: Je suis ton salut!
- Draw out also the spear, and stop the way against them that persecute me: say unto my soul, I am thy salvation. (Ⅱ)
- ἔκχεον ῥομφαίαν καὶ σύγκλεισον ἐξ ἐναντίας τω̃ν καταδιωκόντων με εἰπὸν τη̨̃ ψυχη̨̃ μου σωτηρία σου ἐγώ εἰμι (Ⅲ)
- Effunde frameam, et conclude adversus eos qui persequuntur me ;/ dic animæ meæ : Salus tua ego sum./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 3  ׃35  והרק חנית וסגר לקראת רדפי אמר לנפשי ישעתך אני ‬ (Ⅴ)
35. 4  
Qu'ils soient honteux et confus, ceux qui en veulent à ma vie! Qu'ils reculent et rougissent, ceux qui méditent ma perte!
- Let them be confounded and put to shame that seek after my soul: let them be turned back and brought to confusion that devise my hurt. (Ⅱ)
- αἰσχυνθήτωσαν καὶ ἐντραπήτωσαν οἱ ζητου̃ντες τὴν ψυχήν μου ἀποστραφήτωσαν εἰς τὰ ὀπίσω καὶ καταισχυνθήτωσαν οἱ λογιζόμενοί μοι κακά (Ⅲ)
- Confundantur et revereantur quærentes animam meam ;/ avertantur retrorsum et confundantur cogitantes mihi mala./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 4  ׃35  יבשו ויכלמו מבקשי נפשי יסגו אחור ויחפרו חשבי רעתי ‬ (Ⅴ)
35. 5  
Qu'ils soient comme la balle emportée par le vent, Et que l'ange de l'Éternel les chasse!
- Let them be as chaff before the wind: and let the angel of the LORD chase them. (Ⅱ)
- γενηθήτωσαν ὡσεὶ χνου̃ς κατὰ πρόσωπον ἀνέμου καὶ ἄγγελος κυρίου ἐκθλίβων αὐτούς (Ⅲ)
- Fiant tamquam pulvis ante faciem venti,/ et angelus Domini coarctans eos./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 5  ׃35  יהיו כמץ לפני רוח ומלאך יהוה דוחה ‬ (Ⅴ)
35. 6  
Que leur route soit ténébreuse et glissante, Et que l'ange de l'Éternel les poursuive!
- Let their way be dark and slippery: and let the angel of the LORD persecute them. (Ⅱ)
- γενηθήτω ἡ ὁδὸς αὐτω̃ν σκότος καὶ ὀλίσθημα καὶ ἄγγελος κυρίου καταδιώκων αὐτούς (Ⅲ)
- Fiat via illorum tenebræ et lubricum,/ et angelus Domini persequens eos./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 6  ׃35  יהי דרכם חשך וחלקלקות ומלאך יהוה רדפם ‬ (Ⅴ)
35. 7  
Car sans cause ils m'ont tendu leur filet sur une fosse, Sans cause ils l'ont creusée pour m'ôter la vie.
- For without cause have they hid for me their net in a pit, which without cause they have digged for my soul. (Ⅱ)
- ὅτι δωρεὰν ἔκρυψάν μοι διαφθορὰν παγίδος αὐτω̃ν μάτην ὠνείδισαν τὴν ψυχήν μου (Ⅲ)
- Quoniam gratis absconderunt mihi interitum laquei sui ; supervacue exprobraverunt animam meam./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 7  ׃35  כי חנם טמנו לי שחת רשתם חנם חפרו לנפשי ‬ (Ⅴ)
35. 8  
Que la ruine les atteigne à l'improviste, Qu'ils soient pris dans le filet qu'ils ont tendu, Qu'ils y tombent et périssent!
- Let destruction come upon him at unawares; and let his net that he hath hid catch himself: into that very destruction let him fall. (Ⅱ)
- ἐλθέτω αὐτοι̃ς παγίς ἣν οὐ γινώσκουσιν καὶ ἡ θήρα ἣν ἔκρυψαν συλλαβέτω αὐτούς καὶ ἐν τη̨̃ παγίδι πεσου̃νται ἐν αὐτη̨̃ (Ⅲ)
- Veniat illi laqueus quem ignorat,/ et captio quam abscondit apprehendat eum,/ et in laqueum cadat in ipsum./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 8  ׃35  תבואהו שואה לא ידע ורשתו אשר טמן תלכדו בשואה יפל בה ‬ (Ⅴ)
35. 9  
Et mon âme aura de la joie en l'Éternel, De l'allégresse en son salut.
- And my soul shall be joyful in the LORD: it shall rejoice in his salvation. (Ⅱ)
- ἡ δὲ ψυχή μου ἀγαλλιάσεται ἐπὶ τω̨̃ κυρίω̨ τερφθήσεται ἐπὶ τω̨̃ σωτηρίω̨ αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ)
- Anima autem mea exsultabit in Domino,/ et delectabitur super salutari suo./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 9  ׃35  ונפשי תגיל ביהוה תשיש בישועתו ‬ (Ⅴ)
35. 10  
Tous mes os diront: Éternel! qui peut, comme toi, Délivrer le malheureux d'un plus fort que lui, Le malheureux et le pauvre de celui qui le dépouille?
- All my bones shall say, LORD, who is like unto thee, which deliverest the poor from him that is too strong for him, yea, the poor and the needy from him that spoileth him? (Ⅱ)
- πάντα τὰ ὀστα̃ μου ἐρου̃σιν κύριε τίς ὅμοιός σοι ῥυόμενος πτωχὸν ἐκ χειρὸς στερεωτέρων αὐτου̃ καὶ πτωχὸν καὶ πένητα ἀπὸ τω̃ν διαρπαζόντων αὐτόν (Ⅲ)
- Omnia ossa mea dicent :/ Domine, quis similis tibi ?/ eripiens inopem de manu fortiorum ejus ;/ egenum et pauperem a diripientibus eum./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 10 ׃35  כל עצמותי תאמרנה יהוה מי כמוך מציל עני מחזק ממנו ועני ואביון מגזלו ‬ (Ⅴ)
35. 11  
De faux témoins se lèvent: Ils m'interrogent sur ce que j'ignore.
- False witnesses did rise up; they laid to my charge things that I knew not. (Ⅱ)
- ἀναστάντες μάρτυρες ἄδικοι ἃ οὐκ ἐγίνωσκον ἠρώτων με (Ⅲ)
- Surgentes testes iniqui,/ quæ ignorabam interrogabant me./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 11 ׃35  יקומון עדי חמס אשר לא ידעתי ישאלוני ‬ (Ⅴ)
35. 12  
Ils me rendent le mal pour le bien: Mon âme est dans l'abandon.
- They rewarded me evil for good to the spoiling of my soul. (Ⅱ)
- ἀνταπεδίδοσάν μοι πονηρὰ ἀντὶ καλω̃ν καὶ ἀτεκνίαν τη̨̃ ψυχη̨̃ μου (Ⅲ)
- Retribuebant mihi mala pro bonis,/ sterilitatem animæ meæ./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 12 ׃35  ישלמוני רעה תחת טובה שכול לנפשי ‬ (Ⅴ)
35. 13  
Et moi, quand ils étaient malades, je revêtais un sac, J'humiliais mon âme par le jeûne, Je priais, la tête penchée sur mon sein.
- But as for me, when they were sick, my clothing was sackcloth: I humbled my soul with fasting; and my prayer returned into mine own bosom. (Ⅱ)
- ἐγὼ δὲ ἐν τω̨̃ αὐτοὺς παρενοχλει̃ν μοι ἐνεδυόμην σάκκον καὶ ἐταπείνουν ἐν νηστεία̨ τὴν ψυχήν μου καὶ ἡ προσευχή μου εἰς κόλπον μου ἀποστραφήσεται (Ⅲ)
- Ego autem, cum mihi molesti essent, induebar cilicio ;/ humiliabam in jejunio animam meam,/ et oratio mea in sinu meo convertetur./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 13 ׃35  ואני בחלותם לבושי שק עניתי בצום נפשי ותפלתי על חיקי תשוב ‬ (Ⅴ)
35. 14  
Comme pour un ami, pour un frère, je me traînais lentement; Comme pour le deuil d'une mère, je me courbais avec tristesse.
- I behaved myself as though he had been my friend or brother: I bowed down heavily, as one that mourneth for his mother. (Ⅱ)
- ὡς πλησίον ὡς ἀδελφὸν ἡμέτερον οὕτως εὐηρέστουν ὡς πενθω̃ν καὶ σκυθρωπάζων οὕτως ἐταπεινούμην (Ⅲ)
- Quasi proximum et quasi fratrem nostrum sic complacebam ;/ quasi lugens et contristatus sic humiliabar./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 14 ׃35  כרע כאח לי התהלכתי כאבל אם קדר שחותי ‬ (Ⅴ)
35. 15  
Puis, quand je chancelle, ils se réjouissent et s'assemblent, Ils s'assemblent à mon insu pour m'outrager, Ils me déchirent sans relâche;
- But in mine adversity they rejoiced, and gathered themselves together: yea, the abjects gathered themselves together against me, and I knew it not; they did tear me, and ceased not: (Ⅱ)
- καὶ κατ' ἐμου̃ ηὐφράνθησαν καὶ συνήχθησαν συνήχθησαν ἐπ' ἐμὲ μάστιγες καὶ οὐκ ἔγνων διεσχίσθησαν καὶ οὐ κατενύγησαν (Ⅲ)
- Et adversum me lætati sunt, et convenerunt ;/ congregata sunt super me flagella, et ignoravi./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 15 ׃35  ובצלעי שמחו ונאספו נאספו עלי נכים ולא ידעתי קרעו ולא דמו ‬ (Ⅴ)
35. 16  
Avec les impies, les parasites moqueurs, Ils grincent des dents contre moi.
- With hypocritical mockers in feasts, they gnashed upon me with their teeth. (Ⅱ)
- ἐπείρασάν με ἐξεμυκτήρισάν με μυκτηρισμόν ἔβρυξαν ἐπ' ἐμὲ τοὺς ὀδόντας αὐτω̃ν (Ⅲ)
- Dissipati sunt, nec compuncti ;/ tentaverunt me, subsannaverunt me subsannatione ;/ frenduerunt super me dentibus suis./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 16 ׃35  בחנפי לעגי מעוג חרק עלי שנימו ‬ (Ⅴ)
35. 17  
Seigneur! Jusques à quand le verras-tu? Protège mon âme contre leurs embûches, Ma vie contre les lionceaux!
- Lord, how long wilt thou look on? rescue my soul from their destructions, my darling from the lions. (Ⅱ)
- κύριε πότε ἐπόψη̨ ἀποκατάστησον τὴν ψυχήν μου ἀπὸ τη̃ς κακουργίας αὐτω̃ν ἀπὸ λεόντων τὴν μονογενη̃ μου (Ⅲ)
- Domine, quando respicies ?/ Restitue animam meam a malignitate eorum ;/ a leonibus unicam meam./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 17 ׃35  אדני כמה תראה השיבה נפשי משאיהם מכפירים יחידתי ‬ (Ⅴ)
35. 18  
Je te louerai dans la grande assemblée, Je te célébrerai au milieu d'un peuple nombreux.
- I will give thee thanks in the great congregation: I will praise thee among much people. (Ⅱ)
- ἐξομολογήσομαί σοι κύριε ἐν ἐκκλησία̨ πολλη̨̃ ἐν λαω̨̃ βαρει̃ αἰνέσω σε (Ⅲ)
- Confitebor tibi in ecclesia magna ; in populo gravi laudabo te./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 18 ׃35  אודך בקהל רב בעם עצום אהללך ‬ (Ⅴ)
35. 19  
Que ceux qui sont à tort mes ennemis ne se réjouissent pas à mon sujet, Que ceux qui me haïssent sans cause ne m'insultent pas du regard!
- Let not them that are mine enemies wrongfully rejoice over me: neither let them wink with the eye that hate me without a cause. (Ⅱ)
- μὴ ἐπιχαρείησάν μοι οἱ ἐχθραίνοντές μοι ἀδίκως οἱ μισου̃ντές με δωρεὰν καὶ διανεύοντες ὀφθαλμοι̃ς (Ⅲ)
- Non supergaudeant mihi qui adversantur mihi inique,/ qui oderunt me gratis, et annuunt oculis./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 19 ׃35  אל ישמחו לי איבי שקר שנאי חנם יקרצו עין ‬ (Ⅴ)
35. 20  
Car ils tiennent un langage qui n'est point celui de la paix, Ils méditent la tromperie contre les gens tranquilles du pays.
- For they speak not peace: but they devise deceitful matters against them that are quiet in the land. (Ⅱ)
- ὅτι ἐμοὶ μὲν εἰρηνικὰ ἐλάλουν καὶ ἐπ' ὀργὴν δόλους διελογίζοντο (Ⅲ)
- Quoniam mihi quidem pacifice loquebantur ;/ et in iracundia terræ loquentes, dolos cogitabant./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 20 ׃35  כי לא שלום ידברו ועל רגעי ארץ דברי מרמות יחשבון ‬ (Ⅴ)
35. 21  
Ils ouvrent contre moi leur bouche, Ils disent: Ah! ah! nos yeux regardent! -
- Yea, they opened their mouth wide against me, and said, Aha, aha, our eye hath seen it. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ ἐπλάτυναν ἐπ' ἐμὲ τὸ στόμα αὐτω̃ν εἰ̃παν εὐ̃γε εὐ̃γε εἰ̃δαν οἱ ὀφθαλμοὶ ἡμω̃ν (Ⅲ)
- Et dilataverunt super me os suum ;/ dixerunt : Euge, euge ! viderunt oculi nostri./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 21 ׃35  וירחיבו עלי פיהם אמרו האח האח ראתה עינינו ‬ (Ⅴ)
35. 22  
Éternel, tu le vois! ne reste pas en silence! Seigneur, ne t'éloigne pas de moi!
- This thou hast seen, O LORD: keep not silence: O Lord, be not far from me. (Ⅱ)
- εἰ̃δες κύριε μὴ παρασιωπήση̨ς κύριε μὴ ἀποστη̨̃ς ἀπ' ἐμου̃ (Ⅲ)
- Vidisti, Domine : ne sileas ;/ Domine, ne discedas a me./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 22 ׃35  ראיתה יהוה אל תחרש אדני אל תרחק ממני ‬ (Ⅴ)
35. 23  
Réveille-toi, réveille-toi pour me faire justice! Mon Dieu et mon Seigneur, défends ma cause!
- Stir up thyself, and awake to my judgment, even unto my cause, my God and my Lord. (Ⅱ)
- ἐξεγέρθητι κύριε καὶ πρόσχες τη̨̃ κρίσει μου ὁ θεός μου καὶ ὁ κύριός μου εἰς τὴν δίκην μου (Ⅲ)
- Exsurge et intende judicio meo, Deus meus ;/ et Dominus meus, in causam meam./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 23 ׃35  העירה והקיצה למשפטי אלהי ואדני לריבי ‬ (Ⅴ)
35. 24  
Juge-moi selon ta justice, Éternel, mon Dieu! Et qu'ils ne se réjouissent pas à mon sujet!
- Judge me, O LORD my God, according to thy righteousness; and let them not rejoice over me. (Ⅱ)
- κρι̃νόν με κατὰ τὴν δικαιοσύνην σου κύριε ὁ θεός μου καὶ μὴ ἐπιχαρείησάν μοι (Ⅲ)
- Judica me secundum justitiam tuam, Domine Deus meus,/ et non supergaudeant mihi./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 24 ׃35  שפטני כצדקך יהוה אלהי ואל ישמחו לי ‬ (Ⅴ)
35. 25  
Qu'ils ne disent pas dans leur coeur: Ah! voilà ce que nous voulions! Qu'ils ne disent pas: Nous l'avons englouti!
- Let them not say in their hearts, Ah, so would we have it: let them not say, We have swallowed him up. (Ⅱ)
- μὴ εἴπαισαν ἐν καρδίαις αὐτω̃ν εὐ̃γε εὐ̃γε τη̨̃ ψυχη̨̃ ἡμω̃ν μηδὲ εἴπαισαν κατεπίομεν αὐτόν (Ⅲ)
- Non dicant in cordibus suis : Euge, euge, animæ nostræ ;/ nec dicant : Devoravimus eum./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 25 ׃35  אל יאמרו בלבם האח נפשנו אל יאמרו בלענוהו ‬ (Ⅴ)
35. 26  
Que tous ensemble ils soient honteux et confus, Ceux qui se réjouissent de mon malheur! Qu'ils revêtent l'ignominie et l'opprobre, Ceux qui s'élèvent contre moi!
- Let them be ashamed and brought to confusion together that rejoice at mine hurt: let them be clothed with shame and dishonour that magnify themselves against me. (Ⅱ)
- αἰσχυνθείησαν καὶ ἐντραπείησαν ἅμα οἱ ἐπιχαίροντες τοι̃ς κακοι̃ς μου ἐνδυσάσθωσαν αἰσχύνην καὶ ἐντροπὴν οἱ μεγαλορρημονου̃ντες ἐπ' ἐμέ (Ⅲ)
- Erubescant et revereantur simul qui gratulantur malis meis ;/ induantur confusione et reverentia qui magna loquuntur super me./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 26 ׃35  יבשו ויחפרו יחדו שמחי רעתי ילבשו בשת וכלמה המגדילים עלי ‬ (Ⅴ)
35. 27  
Qu'ils aient de l'allégresse et de la joie, Ceux qui prennent plaisir à mon innocence, Et que sans cesse ils disent: Exalté soit l'Éternel, Qui veut la paix de son serviteur!
- Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant. (Ⅱ)
- ἀγαλλιάσαιντο καὶ εὐφρανθείησαν οἱ θέλοντες τὴν δικαιοσύνην μου καὶ εἰπάτωσαν διὰ παντός μεγαλυνθήτω ὁ κύριος οἱ θέλοντες τὴν εἰρήνην του̃ δούλου αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ)
- Exsultent et lætentur qui volunt justitiam meam ;/ et dicant semper : Magnificetur Dominus, qui volunt pacem servi ejus./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 27 ׃35  ירנו וישמחו חפצי צדקי ויאמרו תמיד יגדל יהוה החפץ שלום עבדו ‬ (Ⅴ)
35. 28  
Et ma langue célébrera ta justice, Elle dira tous les jours ta louange.
- And my tongue shall speak of thy righteousness and of thy praise all the day long. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ ἡ γλω̃σσά μου μελετήσει τὴν δικαιοσύνην σου ὅλην τὴν ἡμέραν τὸν ἔπαινόν σου (Ⅲ)
- Et lingua mea meditabitur justitiam tuam ;/ tota die laudem tuam.] (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 28 ׃35  ולשוני תהגה צדקך כל היום תהלתך ‬ (Ⅴ)
