ἐξηρεύξατο ἡ καρδία μου λόγον ἀγαθόν λέγω ἐγὼ τὰ ἔργα μου τω̨̃ βασιλει̃ ἡ γλω̃σσά μου κάλαμος γραμματέως ὀξυγράφου
- Des paroles pleines de charme bouillonnent dans mon coeur. Je dis: Mon oeuvre est pour le roi! Que ma langue soit comme la plume d'un habile écrivain! (Ⅱ) - My heart is inditing a good matter: I speak of the things which I have made touching the king: my tongue is the pen of a ready writer. (Ⅲ) - [Eructavit cor meum verbum bonum :/ dico ego opera mea regi./ Lingua mea calamus scribæ/ velociter scribentis./ (Ⅳ) - 2 ׃45 רחש לבי דבר טוב אמר אני מעשי למלך לשוני עט סופר מהיר (Ⅴ)

ὡραι̃ος κάλλει παρὰ τοὺς υἱοὺς τω̃ν ἀνθρώπων ἐξεχύθη χάρις ἐν χείλεσίν σου διὰ του̃το εὐλόγησέν σε ὁ θεὸς εἰς τὸν αἰω̃να
- Tu es le plus beau des fils de l'homme, La grâce est répandue sur tes lèvres: C'est pourquoi Dieu t'a béni pour toujours. (Ⅱ) - Thou art fairer than the children of men: grace is poured into thy lips: therefore God hath blessed thee for ever. (Ⅲ) - Speciosus forma præ filiis hominum,/ diffusa est gratia in labiis tuis :/ propterea benedixit te Deus in æternum./ (Ⅳ) - 3 ׃45 יפיפית מבני אדם הוצק חן בשפתותיך על כן ברכך אלהים לעולם (Ⅴ)

περίζωσαι τὴν ῥομφαίαν σου ἐπὶ τὸν μηρόν σου δυνατέ τη̨̃ ὡραιότητί σου καὶ τω̨̃ κάλλει σου
- Vaillant guerrier, ceins ton épée, -Ta parure et ta gloire, (Ⅱ) - Gird thy sword upon thy thigh, O most mighty, with thy glory and thy majesty. (Ⅲ) - Accingere gladio tuo super femur tuum, potentissime./ (Ⅳ) - 4 ׃45 חגור חרבך על ירך גבור הודך והדרך (Ⅴ)

καὶ ἔντεινον καὶ κατευοδου̃ καὶ βασίλευε ἕνεκεν ἀληθείας καὶ πραΰτητος καὶ δικαιοσύνης καὶ ὁδηγήσει σε θαυμαστω̃ς ἡ δεξιά σου
- Oui, ta gloire! -Sois vainqueur, monte sur ton char, Défends la vérité, la douceur et la justice, Et que ta droite se signale par de merveilleux exploits! (Ⅱ) - And in thy majesty ride prosperously because of truth and meekness and righteousness; and thy right hand shall teach thee terrible things. (Ⅲ) - Specie tua et pulchritudine tua/ intende, prospere procede, et regna,/ propter veritatem, et mansuetudinem, et justitiam ;/ et deducet te mirabiliter dextera tua./ (Ⅳ) - 5 ׃45 והדרך צלח רכב על דבר אמת וענוה צדק ותורך נוראות ימינך (Ⅴ)

τὰ βέλη σου ἠκονημένα δυνατέ λαοὶ ὑποκάτω σου πεσου̃νται ἐν καρδία̨ τω̃ν ἐχθρω̃ν του̃ βασιλέως
- Tes flèches sont aiguës; Des peuples tomberont sous toi; Elles perceront le coeur des ennemis du roi. (Ⅱ) - Thine arrows are sharp in the heart of the king's enemies; whereby the people fall under thee. (Ⅲ) - Sagittæ tuæ acutæ :/ populi sub te cadent,/ in corda inimicorum regis./ (Ⅳ) - 6 ׃45 חציך שנונים עמים תחתיך יפלו בלב אויבי המלך (Ⅴ)

ὁ θρόνος σου ὁ θεός εἰς τὸν αἰω̃να του̃ αἰω̃νος ῥάβδος εὐθύτητος ἡ ῥάβδος τη̃ς βασιλείας σου
- Ton trône, ô Dieu, est à toujours; Le sceptre de ton règne est un sceptre d'équité. (Ⅱ) - Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: the sceptre of thy kingdom is a right sceptre. (Ⅲ) - Sedes tua, Deus, in sæculum sæculi ;/ virga directionis virga regni tui./ (Ⅳ) - 7 ׃45 כסאך אלהים עולם ועד שבט מישר שבט מלכותך (Ⅴ)

ἠγάπησας δικαιοσύνην καὶ ἐμίσησας ἀνομίαν διὰ του̃το ἔχρισέν σε ὁ θεὸς ὁ θεός σου ἔλαιον ἀγαλλιάσεως παρὰ τοὺς μετόχους σου
- Tu aimes la justice, et tu hais la méchanceté: C'est pourquoi, ô Dieu, ton Dieu t'a oint D'une huile de joie, par privilège sur tes collègues. (Ⅱ) - Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows. (Ⅲ) - Dilexisti justitiam, et odisti iniquitatem ;/ propterea unxit te Deus, Deus tuus,/ oleo lætitiæ, præ consortibus tuis./ (Ⅳ) - 8 ׃45 אהבת צדק ותשנא רשע על כן משחך אלהים אלהיך שמן ששון מחבריך (Ⅴ)

σμύρνα καὶ στακτὴ καὶ κασία ἀπὸ τω̃ν ἱματίων σου ἀπὸ βάρεων ἐλεφαντίνων ἐξ ὡ̃ν ηὔφρανάν σε
- La myrrhe, l'aloès et la casse parfument tous tes vêtements; Dans les palais d'ivoire les instruments à cordes te réjouissent. (Ⅱ) - All thy garments smell of myrrh, and aloes, and cassia, out of the ivory palaces, whereby they have made thee glad. (Ⅲ) - Myrrha, et gutta, et casia a vestimentis tuis,/ a domibus eburneis ; ex quibus delectaverunt te/ (Ⅳ) - 9 ׃45 מר ואהלות קציעות כל בגדתיך מן היכלי שן מני שמחוך (Ⅴ)

θυγατέρες βασιλέων ἐν τη̨̃ τιμη̨̃ σου παρέστη ἡ βασίλισσα ἐκ δεξιω̃ν σου ἐν ἱματισμω̨̃ διαχρύσω̨ περιβεβλημένη πεποικιλμένη
- Des filles de rois sont parmi tes bien-aimées; La reine est à ta droite, parée d'or d'Ophir. (Ⅱ) - Kings' daughters were among thy honourable women: upon thy right hand did stand the queen in gold of Ophir. (Ⅲ) - filiæ regum in honore tuo./ Astitit regina a dextris tuis/ in vestitu deaurato, circumdata varietate./ (Ⅳ) - 10 ׃45 בנות מלכים ביקרותיך נצבה שגל לימינך בכתם אופיר (Ⅴ)

ἄκουσον θύγατερ καὶ ἰδὲ καὶ κλι̃νον τὸ οὐ̃ς σου καὶ ἐπιλάθου του̃ λαου̃ σου καὶ του̃ οἴκου του̃ πατρός σου
- Écoute, ma fille, vois, et prête l'oreille; Oublie ton peuple et la maison de ton père. (Ⅱ) - Hearken, O daughter, and consider, and incline thine ear; forget also thine own people, and thy father's house; (Ⅲ) - Audi, filia, et vide, et inclina aurem tuam ;/ et obliviscere populum tuum, et domum patris tui./ (Ⅳ) - 11 ׃45 שמעי בת וראי והטי אזנך ושכחי עמך ובית אביך (Ⅴ)

ὅτι ἐπεθύμησεν ὁ βασιλεὺς του̃ κάλλους σου ὅτι αὐτός ἐστιν ὁ κύριός σου
- Le roi porte ses désirs sur ta beauté; Puisqu'il est ton seigneur, rends-lui tes hommages. (Ⅱ) - So shall the king greatly desire thy beauty: for he is thy Lord; and worship thou him. (Ⅲ) - Et concupiscet rex decorem tuum,/ quoniam ipse est Dominus Deus tuus, et adorabunt eum./ (Ⅳ) - 12 ׃45 ויתאו המלך יפיך כי הוא אדניך והשתחוי לו (Ⅴ)

καὶ προσκυνήσουσιν αὐτω̨̃ θυγατέρες Τύρου ἐν δώροις τὸ πρόσωπόν σου λιτανεύσουσιν οἱ πλούσιοι του̃ λαου̃
- Et, avec des présents, la fille de Tyr, Les plus riches du peuple rechercheront ta faveur. (Ⅱ) - And the daughter of Tyre shall be there with a gift; even the rich among the people shall intreat thy favour. (Ⅲ) - Et filiæ Tyri in muneribus vultum tuum deprecabuntur ;/ omnes divites plebis./ (Ⅳ) - 13 ׃45 ובת צר במנחה פניך יחלו עשירי עם (Ⅴ)

πα̃σα ἡ δόξα αὐτη̃ς θυγατρὸς βασιλέως ἔσωθεν ἐν κροσσωτοι̃ς χρυσοι̃ς περιβεβλημένη πεποικιλμένη
- Toute resplendissante est la fille du roi dans l'intérieur du palais; Elle porte un vêtement tissu d'or. (Ⅱ) - The king's daughter is all glorious within: her clothing is of wrought gold. (Ⅲ) - Omnis gloria ejus filiæ regis ab intus,/ in fimbriis aureis,/ (Ⅳ) - 14 ׃45 כל כבודה בת מלך פנימה ממשבצות זהב לבושה (Ⅴ)

ἀπενεχθήσονται τω̨̃ βασιλει̃ παρθένοι ὀπίσω αὐτη̃ς αἱ πλησίον αὐτη̃ς ἀπενεχθήσονταί σοι
- Elle est présentée au roi, vêtue de ses habits brodés, Et suivie des jeunes filles, ses compagnes, qui sont amenées auprès de toi; (Ⅱ) - She shall be brought unto the king in raiment of needlework: the virgins her companions that follow her shall be brought unto thee. (Ⅲ) - circumamicta varietatibus./ Adducentur regi virgines post eam ;/ proximæ ejus afferentur tibi./ (Ⅳ) - 15 ׃45 לרקמות תובל למלך בתולות אחריה רעותיה מובאות לך (Ⅴ)

ἀπενεχθήσονται ἐν εὐφροσύνη̨ καὶ ἀγαλλιάσει ἀχθήσονται εἰς ναὸν βασιλέως
- On les introduit au milieu des réjouissances et de l'allégresse, Elles entrent dans le palais du roi. (Ⅱ) - With gladness and rejoicing shall they be brought: they shall enter into the king's palace. (Ⅲ) - Afferentur in lætitia et exsultatione ;/ adducentur in templum regis./ (Ⅳ) - 16 ׃45 תובלנה[c] בשמחת וגיל תבאינה בהיכל מלך (Ⅴ)

ἀντὶ τω̃ν πατέρων σου ἐγενήθησάν σοι υἱοί καταστήσεις αὐτοὺς ἄρχοντας ἐπὶ πα̃σαν τὴν γη̃ν
- Tes enfants prendront la place de tes pères; Tu les établiras princes dans tout le pays. (Ⅱ) - Instead of thy fathers shall be thy children, whom thou mayest make princes in all the earth. (Ⅲ) - Pro patribus tuis nati sunt tibi filii ;/ constitues eos principes super omnem terram./ (Ⅳ) - 17 ׃45 תחת אבתיך יהיו בניך תשיתמו לשרים בכל הארץ (Ⅴ)

μνησθήσονται του̃ ὀνόματός σου ἐν πάση̨ γενεα̨̃ καὶ γενεα̨̃ διὰ του̃το λαοὶ ἐξομολογήσονταί σοι εἰς τὸν αἰω̃να καὶ εἰς τὸν αἰω̃να του̃ αἰω̃νος
- Je rappellerai ton nom dans tous les âges: Aussi les peuples te loueront éternellement et à jamais. (Ⅱ) - I will make thy name to be remembered in all generations: therefore shall the people praise thee for ever and ever. (Ⅲ) - Memores erunt nominis tui in omni generatione et generationem :/ propterea populi confitebuntur tibi in æternum, et in sæculum sæculi.] (Ⅳ) - 18 ׃45 אזכירה שמך בכל דר ודר על כן עמים יהודך לעלם ועד (Ⅴ)
