Dieu est pour nous un refuge et un appui, Un secours qui ne manque jamais dans la détresse.
- God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. (Ⅱ) - ὁ θεὸς ἡμω̃ν καταφυγὴ καὶ δύναμις βοηθὸς ἐν θλίψεσιν ται̃ς εὑρούσαις ἡμα̃ς σφόδρα (Ⅲ) - [Deus noster refugium et virtus ;/ adjutor in tribulationibus quæ invenerunt nos nimis./ (Ⅳ) - 2 ׃46 אלהים לנו מחסה ועז עזרה בצרות נמצא מאד (Ⅴ)

C'est pourquoi nous sommes sans crainte quand la terre est bouleversée, Et que les montagnes chancellent au coeur des mers,
- Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; (Ⅱ) - διὰ του̃το οὐ φοβηθησόμεθα ἐν τω̨̃ ταράσσεσθαι τὴν γη̃ν καὶ μετατίθεσθαι ὄρη ἐν καρδίαις θαλασσω̃ν (Ⅲ) - Propterea non timebimus dum turbabitur terra,/ et transferentur montes in cor maris./ (Ⅳ) - 3 ׃46 על כן לא נירא בהמיר ארץ ובמוט הרים בלב ימים (Ⅴ)

Quand les flots de la mer mugissent, écument, Se soulèvent jusqu'à faire trembler les montagnes. -Pause.
- Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah. (Ⅱ) - ἤχησαν καὶ ἐταράχθησαν τὰ ὕδατα αὐτω̃ν ἐταράχθησαν τὰ ὄρη ἐν τη̨̃ κραταιότητι αὐτου̃ διάψαλμα (Ⅲ) - Sonuerunt, et turbatæ sunt aquæ eorum ;/ conturbati sunt montes in fortitudine ejus./ (Ⅳ) - 4 ׃46 יהמו יחמרו מימיו ירעשו הרים בגאותו סלה (Ⅴ)

Il est un fleuve dont les courants réjouissent la cité de Dieu, Le sanctuaire des demeures du Très Haut.
- There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High. (Ⅱ) - του̃ ποταμου̃ τὰ ὁρμήματα εὐφραίνουσιν τὴν πόλιν του̃ θεου̃ ἡγίασεν τὸ σκήνωμα αὐτου̃ ὁ ὕψιστος (Ⅲ) - Fluminis impetus lætificat civitatem Dei :/ sanctificavit tabernaculum suum Altissimus./ (Ⅳ) - 5 ׃46 נהר פלגיו ישמחו עיר אלהים קדש משכני עליון (Ⅴ)

Dieu est au milieu d'elle: elle n'est point ébranlée; Dieu la secourt dès l'aube du matin.
- God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early. (Ⅱ) - ὁ θεὸς ἐν μέσω̨ αὐτη̃ς οὐ σαλευθήσεται βοηθήσει αὐτη̨̃ ὁ θεὸς τὸ πρὸς πρωί (Ⅲ) - Deus in medio ejus, non commovebitur ;/ adjuvabit eam Deus mane diluculo./ (Ⅳ) - 6 ׃46 אלהים בקרבה בל תמוט יעזרה אלהים לפנות בקר (Ⅴ)

Des nations s'agitent, des royaumes s'ébranlent; Il fait entendre sa voix: la terre se fond d'épouvante.
- The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted. (Ⅱ) - ἐταράχθησαν ἔθνη ἔκλιναν βασιλει̃αι ἔδωκεν φωνὴν αὐτου̃ ἐσαλεύθη ἡ γη̃ (Ⅲ) - Conturbatæ sunt gentes, et inclinata sunt regna :/ dedit vocem suam, mota est terra./ (Ⅳ) - 7 ׃46 המו גוים[c] מטו ממלכות נתן בקולו תמוג ארץ (Ⅴ)

- Come, behold the works of the LORD, what desolations he hath made in the earth. (Ⅱ) - δευ̃τε ἴδετε τὰ ἔργα κυρίου ἃ ἔθετο τέρατα ἐπὶ τη̃ς γη̃ς (Ⅲ) - Venite, et videte opera Domini,/ quæ posuit prodigia super terram,/ (Ⅳ) - 9 ׃46 לכו חזו מפעלות יהוה אשר שם שמות בארץ (Ⅴ)

C'est lui qui a fait cesser les combats jusqu'au bout de la terre; Il a brisé l'arc, et il a rompu la lance, Il a consumé par le feu les chars de guerre. -
- He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire. (Ⅱ) - ἀνταναιρω̃ν πολέμους μέχρι τω̃ν περάτων τη̃ς γη̃ς τόξον συντρίψει καὶ συγκλάσει ὅπλον καὶ θυρεοὺς κατακαύσει ἐν πυρί (Ⅲ) - auferens bella usque ad finem terræ./ Arcum conteret, et confringet arma,/ et scuta comburet igni./ (Ⅳ) - 10 ׃46 משבית מלחמות עד קצה הארץ קשת ישבר וקצץ חנית עגלות ישרף באש (Ⅴ)

Arrêtez, et sachez que je suis Dieu: Je domine sur les nations, je domine sur la terre. -
- Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. (Ⅱ) - σχολάσατε καὶ γνω̃τε ὅτι ἐγώ εἰμι ὁ θεός ὑψωθήσομαι ἐν τοι̃ς ἔθνεσιν ὑψωθήσομαι ἐν τη̨̃ γη̨̃ (Ⅲ) - Vacate, et videte quoniam ego sum Deus ;/ exaltabor in gentibus, et exaltabor in terra./ (Ⅳ) - 11 ׃46 הרפו ודעו כי אנכי אלהים ארום בגוים ארום בארץ (Ⅴ)
