ἐν τω̨̃ ἐλθει̃ν Δωηκ τὸν Ιδουμαι̃ον καὶ ἀναγγει̃λαι τω̨̃ Σαουλ καὶ εἰπει̃ν αὐτω̨̃ ἠ̃λθεν Δαυιδ εἰς τὸν οἰ̃κον Αβιμελεχ
- A l'occasion du rapport que Doëg, l'Édomite, vint faire à Saül, en lui disant: David s'est rendu dans la maison d'Achimélec. (Ⅱ) - cum venit Doëg Idumæus, et nuntiavit Sauli : Venit David in domum Achimelech. (Ⅳ) - 2 ׃52 בבוא דואג האדמי ויגד לשאול ויאמר לו בא דוד אל בית אחימלך (Ⅴ)

τί ἐγκαυχα̨̃ ἐν κακία̨ ὁ δυνατός ἀνομίαν ὅλην τὴν ἡμέραν
- Pourquoi te glorifies-tu de ta méchanceté, tyran? La bonté de Dieu subsiste toujours. (Ⅱ) - Why boastest thou thyself in mischief, O mighty man? the goodness of God endureth continually. (Ⅲ) - [Quid gloriaris in malitia,/ qui potens es in iniquitate ?/ (Ⅳ) - 3 ׃52 מה תתהלל ברעה הגבור חסד אל כל היום (Ⅴ)

ἀδικίαν ἐλογίσατο ἡ γλω̃σσά σου ὡσεὶ ξυρὸν ἠκονημένον ἐποίησας δόλον
- Ta langue n'invente que malice, comme un rasoir affilé, fourbe que tu es! (Ⅱ) - The tongue deviseth mischiefs; like a sharp razor, working deceitfully. (Ⅲ) - Tota die injustitiam cogitavit lingua tua ;/ sicut novacula acuta fecisti dolum./ (Ⅳ) - 4 ׃52 הוות תחשב לשונך כתער מלטש עשה רמיה (Ⅴ)

ἠγάπησας κακίαν ὑπὲρ ἀγαθωσύνην ἀδικίαν ὑπὲρ τὸ λαλη̃σαι δικαιοσύνην διάψαλμα
- Tu aimes le mal plutôt que le bien, Le mensonge plutôt que la droiture. -Pause. (Ⅱ) - Thou lovest evil more than good; and lying rather than to speak righteousness. Selah. (Ⅲ) - Dilexisti malitiam super benignitatem ;/ iniquitatem magis quam loqui æquitatem./ (Ⅳ) - 5 ׃52 אהבת רע מטוב שקר מדבר צדק סלה (Ⅴ)

ἠγάπησας πάντα τὰ ῥήματα καταποντισμου̃ γλω̃σσαν δολίαν
- Tu aimes toutes les paroles de destruction, Langue trompeuse! (Ⅱ) - Thou lovest all devouring words, O thou deceitful tongue. (Ⅲ) - Dilexisti omnia verba præcipitationis ;/ lingua dolosa./ (Ⅳ) - 6 ׃52 אהבת כל דברי בלע לשון מרמה (Ⅴ)

διὰ του̃το ὁ θεὸς καθελει̃ σε εἰς τέλος ἐκτίλαι σε καὶ μεταναστεύσαι σε ἀπὸ σκηνώματος καὶ τὸ ῥίζωμά σου ἐκ γη̃ς ζώντων διάψαλμα
- Aussi Dieu t'abattra pour toujours, Il te saisira et t'enlèvera de ta tente; Il te déracinera de la terre des vivants. -Pause. (Ⅱ) - God shall likewise destroy thee for ever, he shall take thee away, and pluck thee out of thy dwelling place, and root thee out of the land of the living. Selah. (Ⅲ) - Propterea Deus destruet te in finem ;/ evellet te, et emigrabit te de tabernaculo tuo,/ et radicem tuam de terra viventium./ (Ⅳ) - 7 ׃52 גם אל יתצך לנצח יחתך ויסחך מאהל ושרשך[c] מארץ חיים סלה (Ⅴ)

καὶ ὄψονται δίκαιοι καὶ φοβηθήσονται καὶ ἐπ' αὐτὸν γελάσονται καὶ ἐρου̃σιν
- Les justes le verront, et auront de la crainte, Et ils feront de lui le sujet de leurs moqueries: (Ⅱ) - The righteous also shall see, and fear, and shall laugh at him: (Ⅲ) - Videbunt justi, et timebunt ;/ et super eum ridebunt, et dicent :/ (Ⅳ) - 8 ׃52 ויראו צדיקים וייראו ועליו ישחקו (Ⅴ)

ἰδοὺ ἄνθρωπος ὃς οὐκ ἔθετο τὸν θεὸν βοηθὸν αὐτου̃ ἀλλ' ἐπήλπισεν ἐπὶ τὸ πλη̃θος του̃ πλούτου αὐτου̃ καὶ ἐδυναμώθη ἐπὶ τη̨̃ ματαιότητι αὐτου̃
- Voilà l'homme qui ne prenait point Dieu pour protecteur, Mais qui se confiait en ses grandes richesses, Et qui triomphait dans sa malice! (Ⅱ) - Lo, this is the man that made not God his strength; but trusted in the abundance of his riches, and strengthened himself in his wickedness. (Ⅲ) - Ecce homo qui non posuit Deum adjutorem suum ;/ sed speravit in multitudine divitiarum suarum,/ et prævaluit in vanitate sua./ (Ⅳ) - 9 ׃52 הנה הגבר לא ישים אלהים מעוזו ויבטח ברב עשרו יעז בהותו (Ⅴ)

ἐγὼ δὲ ὡσεὶ ἐλαία κατάκαρπος ἐν τω̨̃ οἴκω̨ του̃ θεου̃ ἤλπισα ἐπὶ τὸ ἔλεος του̃ θεου̃ εἰς τὸν αἰω̃να καὶ εἰς τὸν αἰω̃να του̃ αἰω̃νος
- Et moi, je suis dans la maison de Dieu comme un olivier verdoyant, Je me confie dans la bonté de Dieu, éternellement et à jamais. (Ⅱ) - But I am like a green olive tree in the house of God: I trust in the mercy of God for ever and ever. (Ⅲ) - Ego autem, sicut oliva fructifera in domo Dei ;/ speravi in misericordia Dei, in æternum et in sæculum sæculi./ (Ⅳ) - 10 ׃52 ואני כזית רענן בבית אלהים בטחתי בחסד אלהים עולם ועד (Ⅴ)

ἐξομολογήσομαί σοι εἰς τὸν αἰω̃να ὅτι ἐποίησας καὶ ὑπομενω̃ τὸ ὄνομά σου ὅτι χρηστὸν ἐναντίον τω̃ν ὁσίων σου
- Je te louerai toujours, parce que tu as agi; Et je veux espérer en ton nom, parce qu'il est favorable, En présence de tes fidèles. (Ⅱ) - I will praise thee for ever, because thou hast done it: and I will wait on thy name; for it is good before thy saints. (Ⅲ) - Confitebor tibi in sæculum, quia fecisti ;/ et exspectabo nomen tuum,/ quoniam bonum est in conspectu sanctorum tuorum.] (Ⅳ) - 11 ׃52 אודך לעולם כי עשית ואקוה שמך כי טוב נגד חסידיך (Ⅴ)
