Au chef des chantres. Psaume de David.
- εἰς τὸ τέλος ψαλμὸς τω̨̃ Δαυιδ (Ⅲ)

- ‫ 1  ׃64  למנצח מזמור לדוד ‬ (Ⅴ)
64. 2  
O Dieu, écoute ma voix, quand je gémis! Protège ma vie contre l'ennemi que je crains!
- Hear my voice, O God, in my prayer: preserve my life from fear of the enemy. (Ⅱ)
- εἰσάκουσον ὁ θεός τη̃ς φωνη̃ς μου ἐν τω̨̃ δέεσθαί με ἀπὸ φόβου ἐχθρου̃ ἐξελου̃ τὴν ψυχήν μου (Ⅲ)
- [Exaudi, Deus, orationem meam cum deprecor ;/ a timore inimici eripe animam meam./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 2  ׃64  שמע אלהים קולי בשיחי מפחד אויב תצר חיי ‬ (Ⅴ)

Garantis-moi des complots des méchants, De la troupe bruyante des hommes iniques!
- Hide me from the secret counsel of the wicked; from the insurrection of the workers of iniquity: (Ⅱ)
- ἐσκέπασάς με ἀπὸ συστροφη̃ς πονηρευομένων ἀπὸ πλήθους ἐργαζομένων τὴν ἀνομίαν (Ⅲ)
- Protexisti me a conventu malignantium,/ a multitudine operantium iniquitatem./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 3  ׃64  תסתירני מסוד מרעים מרגשת פעלי און ‬ (Ⅴ)
64. 4  
Ils aiguisent leur langue comme un glaive, Ils lancent comme des traits leurs paroles amères,
- Who whet their tongue like a sword, and bend their bows to shoot their arrows, even bitter words: (Ⅱ)
- οἵτινες ἠκόνησαν ὡς ῥομφαίαν τὰς γλώσσας αὐτω̃ν ἐνέτειναν τόξον αὐτω̃ν πρα̃γμα πικρὸν (Ⅲ)
- Quia exacuerunt ut gladium linguas suas ;/ intenderunt arcum rem amaram,/ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 4  ׃64  אשר שננו כחרב לשונם דרכו חצם דבר מר ‬ (Ⅴ)
64. 5  
Pour tirer en cachette sur l'innocent; Ils tirent sur lui à l'improviste, et n'ont aucune crainte.
- That they may shoot in secret at the perfect: suddenly do they shoot at him, and fear not. (Ⅱ)
- του̃ κατατοξευ̃σαι ἐν ἀποκρύφοις ἄμωμον ἐξάπινα κατατοξεύσουσιν αὐτὸν καὶ οὐ φοβηθήσονται (Ⅲ)
- ut sagittent in occultis immaculatum./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 5  ׃64  לירות במסתרים תם פתאם ירהו ולא ייראו ‬ (Ⅴ)

Ils se fortifient dans leur méchanceté: Ils se concertent pour tendre des pièges, Ils disent: Qui les verra?
- They encourage themselves in an evil matter: they commune of laying snares privily; they say, Who shall see them? (Ⅱ)
- ἐκραταίωσαν ἑαυτοι̃ς λόγον πονηρόν διηγήσαντο του̃ κρύψαι παγίδας εἰ̃παν τίς ὄψεται αὐτούς (Ⅲ)
- Subito sagittabunt eum, et non timebunt ;/ firmaverunt sibi sermonem nequam./ Narraverunt ut absconderent laqueos ;/ dixerunt : Quis videbit eos ?/ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 6  ׃64  יחזקו למו דבר רע יספרו לטמון מוקשים אמרו מי יראה למו ‬ (Ⅴ)
64. 7  
Ils méditent des crimes: Nous voici prêts, le plan est conçu! La pensée intime, le coeur de chacun est un abîme.
- They search out iniquities; they accomplish a diligent search: both the inward thought of every one of them, and the heart, is deep. (Ⅱ)
- ἐξηρεύνησαν ἀνομίας ἐξέλιπον ἐξερευνω̃ντες ἐξερευνήσει προσελεύσεται ἄνθρωπος καὶ καρδία βαθει̃α (Ⅲ)
- Scrutati sunt iniquitates ;/ defecerunt scrutantes scrutinio./ Accedet homo ad cor altum,/ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 7  ׃64  יחפשו עולת תמנו חפש מחפש וקרב איש ולב עמק ‬ (Ⅴ)
64. 8  
Dieu lance contre eux ses traits: Soudain les voilà frappés.
- But God shall shoot at them with an arrow; suddenly shall they be wounded. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ ὑψωθήσεται ὁ θεός βέλος νηπίων ἐγενήθησαν αἱ πληγαὶ αὐτω̃ν (Ⅲ)
- et exaltabitur Deus./ Sagittæ parvulorum factæ sunt plagæ eorum,/ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 8  ׃64  וירם אלהים חץ פתאום היו מכותם ‬ (Ⅴ)
64. 9  
Leur langue a causé leur chute; Tous ceux qui les voient secouent la tête.
- So they shall make their own tongue to fall upon themselves: all that see them shall flee away. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ ἐξησθένησαν ἐπ' αὐτοὺς αἱ γλω̃σσαι αὐτω̃ν ἐταράχθησαν πάντες οἱ θεωρου̃ντες αὐτούς (Ⅲ)
- et infirmatæ sunt contra eos linguæ eorum./ Conturbati sunt omnes qui videbant eos,/ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 9  ׃64  ויכשילוהו עלימו לשונם יתנדדו כל ראה בם ‬ (Ⅴ)
64. 10  
Tous les hommes sont saisis de crainte, Ils publient ce que Dieu fait, Et prennent garde à son oeuvre.
- And all men shall fear, and shall declare the work of God; for they shall wisely consider of his doing. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ ἐφοβήθη πα̃ς ἄνθρωπος καὶ ἀνήγγειλαν τὰ ἔργα του̃ θεου̃ καὶ τὰ ποιήματα αὐτου̃ συνη̃καν (Ⅲ)
- et timuit omnis homo./ Et annuntiaverunt opera Dei,/ et facta ejus intellexerunt./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 10 ׃64  וייראו כל אדם ויגידו פעל אלהים ומעשהו השכילו ‬ (Ⅴ)
64. 11  
Le juste se réjouit en l'Éternel et cherche en lui son refuge, Tous ceux qui ont le coeur droit se glorifient.
- The righteous shall be glad in the LORD, and shall trust in him; and all the upright in heart shall glory. (Ⅱ)
- εὐφρανθήσεται δίκαιος ἐπὶ τω̨̃ κυρίω̨ καὶ ἐλπιει̃ ἐπ' αὐτόν καὶ ἐπαινεσθήσονται πάντες οἱ εὐθει̃ς τη̨̃ καρδία̨ (Ⅲ)
- Lætabitur justus in Domino, et sperabit in eo,/ et laudabuntur omnes recti corde.] (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 11 ׃64  ישמח צדיק ביהוה וחסה בו ויתהללו כל ישרי לב ‬ (Ⅴ)
