Éternel, mon Dieu! je cherche en toi mon refuge; Sauve-moi de tous mes persécuteurs, et délivre-moi,
- O LORD my God, in thee do I put my trust: save me from all them that persecute me, and deliver me: (Ⅱ) - κύριε ὁ θεός μου ἐπὶ σοὶ ἤλπισα σω̃σόν με ἐκ πάντων τω̃ν διωκόντων με καὶ ῥυ̃σαί με (Ⅲ) - [Domine Deus meus, in te speravi ;/ salvum me fac ex omnibus persequentibus me, et libera me :/ (Ⅳ) - 2 ׃7 יהוה אלהי בך חסיתי הושיעני מכל רדפי והצילני (Ⅴ)

Afin qu'il ne me déchire pas, comme un lion Qui dévore sans que personne vienne au secours.
- Lest he tear my soul like a lion, rending it in pieces, while there is none to deliver. (Ⅱ) - μήποτε ἁρπάση̨ ὡς λέων τὴν ψυχήν μου μὴ ὄντος λυτρουμένου μηδὲ σώ̨ζοντος (Ⅲ) - nequando rapiat ut leo animam meam,/ dum non est qui redimat, neque qui salvum faciat./ (Ⅳ) - 3 ׃7 פן יטרף כאריה נפשי פרק ואין מציל (Ⅴ)

Éternel, mon Dieu! si j'ai fait cela, S'il y a de l'iniquité dans mes mains,
- O LORD my God, If I have done this; if there be iniquity in my hands; (Ⅱ) - κύριε ὁ θεός μου εἰ ἐποίησα του̃το εἰ ἔστιν ἀδικία ἐν χερσίν μου (Ⅲ) - Domine Deus meus, si feci istud,/ si est iniquitas in manibus meis,/ (Ⅳ) - 4 ׃7 יהוה אלהי אם עשיתי זאת אם יש עול בכפי (Ⅴ)

Si j'ai rendu le mal à celui qui était paisible envers moi, Si j'ai dépouillé celui qui m'opprimait sans cause,
- If I have rewarded evil unto him that was at peace with me; (yea, I have delivered him that without cause is mine enemy:) (Ⅱ) - εἰ ἀνταπέδωκα τοι̃ς ἀνταποδιδου̃σίν μοι κακά ἀποπέσοιν ἄρα ἀπὸ τω̃ν ἐχθρω̃ν μου κενός (Ⅲ) - si reddidi retribuentibus mihi mala,/ decidam merito ab inimicis meis inanis./ (Ⅳ) - 5 ׃7 אם גמלתי שולמי רע ואחלצה צוררי ריקם (Ⅴ)

Que l'ennemi me poursuive et m'atteigne, Qu'il foule à terre ma vie, Et qu'il couche ma gloire dans la poussière! -Pause.
- Let the enemy persecute my soul, and take it; yea, let him tread down my life upon the earth, and lay mine honour in the dust. Selah. (Ⅱ) - καταδιώξαι ἄρα ὁ ἐχθρὸς τὴν ψυχήν μου καὶ καταλάβοι καὶ καταπατήσαι εἰς γη̃ν τὴν ζωήν μου καὶ τὴν δόξαν μου εἰς χου̃ν κατασκηνώσαι διάψαλμα (Ⅲ) - Persequatur inimicus animam meam, et comprehendat ;/ et conculcet in terra vitam meam,/ et gloriam meam in pulverem deducat./ (Ⅳ) - 6 ׃7 ירדף אויב נפשי וישג וירמס לארץ חיי וכבודי לעפר ישכן סלה (Ⅴ)

Lève-toi, ô Éternel! dans ta colère, Lève-toi contre la fureur de mes adversaires, Réveille-toi pour me secourir, ordonne un jugement!
- Arise, O LORD, in thine anger, lift up thyself because of the rage of mine enemies: and awake for me to the judgment that thou hast commanded. (Ⅱ) - ἀνάστηθι κύριε ἐν ὀργη̨̃ σου ὑψώθητι ἐν τοι̃ς πέρασι τω̃ν ἐχθρω̃ν μου ἐξεγέρθητι κύριε ὁ θεός μου ἐν προστάγματι ὡ̨̃ ἐνετείλω (Ⅲ) - Exsurge, Domine, in ira tua,/ et exaltare in finibus inimicorum meorum :/ et exsurge, Domine Deus meus, in præcepto quod mandasti,/ (Ⅳ) - 7 ׃7 קומה יהוה באפך הנשא בעברות צוררי ועורה אלי משפט צוית (Ⅴ)

Que l'assemblée des peuples t'environne! Monte au-dessus d'elle vers les lieux élevés!
- So shall the congregation of the people compass thee about: for their sakes therefore return thou on high. (Ⅱ) - καὶ συναγωγὴ λαω̃ν κυκλώσει σε καὶ ὑπὲρ ταύτης εἰς ὕψος ἐπίστρεψον (Ⅲ) - et synagoga populorum circumdabit te :/ et propter hanc in altum regredere :/ (Ⅳ) - 8 ׃7 ועדת לאמים תסובבך ועליה למרום שובה (Ⅴ)

L'Éternel juge les peuples: Rends-moi justice, ô Éternel! Selon mon droit et selon mon innocence!
- The LORD shall judge the people: judge me, O LORD, according to my righteousness, and according to mine integrity that is in me. (Ⅱ) - κύριος κρινει̃ λαούς κρι̃νόν με κύριε κατὰ τὴν δικαιοσύνην μου καὶ κατὰ τὴν ἀκακίαν μου ἐπ' ἐμοί (Ⅲ) - Dominus judicat populos./ Judica me, Domine, secundum justitiam meam,/ et secundum innocentiam meam super me./ (Ⅳ) - 9 ׃7 יהוה ידין עמים שפטני יהוה כצדקי וכתמי עלי (Ⅴ)

Mets un terme à la malice des méchants, Et affermis le juste, Toi qui sondes les coeurs et les reins, Dieu juste!
- Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end; but establish the just: for the righteous God trieth the hearts and reins. (Ⅱ) - συντελεσθήτω δὴ πονηρία ἁμαρτωλω̃ν καὶ κατευθυνει̃ς δίκαιον ἐτάζων καρδίας καὶ νεφροὺς ὁ θεός (Ⅲ) - Consumetur nequitia peccatorum, et diriges justum,/ scrutans corda et renes, Deus./ (Ⅳ) - 10 ׃7 יגמר נא רע רשעים ותכונן צדיק ובחן לבות וכליות אלהים צדיק (Ⅴ)

Mon bouclier est en Dieu, Qui sauve ceux dont le coeur est droit.
- My defence is of God, which saveth the upright in heart. (Ⅱ) - δικαία ἡ βοήθειά μου παρὰ του̃ θεου̃ του̃ σώ̨ζοντος τοὺς εὐθει̃ς τη̨̃ καρδία̨ (Ⅲ) - Justum adjutorium meum a Domino,/ qui salvos facit rectos corde./ (Ⅳ) - 11 ׃7 מגני על אלהים מושיע ישרי לב (Ⅴ)

Dieu est un juste juge, Dieu s'irrite en tout temps.
- God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day. (Ⅱ) - ὁ θεὸς κριτὴς δίκαιος καὶ ἰσχυρὸς καὶ μακρόθυμος μὴ ὀργὴν ἐπάγων καθ' ἑκάστην ἡμέραν (Ⅲ) - Deus judex justus, fortis, et patiens ;/ numquid irascitur per singulos dies ?/ (Ⅳ) - 12 ׃7 אלהים שופט צדיק ואל זעם בכל יום (Ⅴ)

Si le méchant ne se convertit pas, il aiguise son glaive, Il bande son arc, et il vise;
- If he turn not, he will whet his sword; he hath bent his bow, and made it ready. (Ⅱ) - ἐὰν μὴ ἐπιστραφη̃τε τὴν ῥομφαίαν αὐτου̃ στιλβώσει τὸ τόξον αὐτου̃ ἐνέτεινεν καὶ ἡτοίμασεν αὐτὸ (Ⅲ) - Nisi conversi fueritis, gladium suum vibrabit ;/ arcum suum tetendit, et paravit illum./ (Ⅳ) - 13 ׃7 אם לא ישוב חרבו ילטוש קשתו דרך ויכוננה (Ⅴ)

Il dirige sur lui des traits meurtriers, Il rend ses flèches brûlantes.
- He hath also prepared for him the instruments of death; he ordaineth his arrows against the persecutors. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐν αὐτω̨̃ ἡτοίμασεν σκεύη θανάτου τὰ βέλη αὐτου̃ τοι̃ς καιομένοις ἐξειργάσατο (Ⅲ) - Et in eo paravit vasa mortis,/ sagittas suas ardentibus effecit./ (Ⅳ) - 14 ׃7 ולו הכין כלי מות חציו לדלקים יפעל (Ⅴ)

Voici, le méchant prépare le mal, Il conçoit l'iniquité, et il enfante le néant.
- Behold, he travaileth with iniquity, and hath conceived mischief, and brought forth falsehood. (Ⅱ) - ἰδοὺ ὠδίνησεν ἀδικίαν συνέλαβεν πόνον καὶ ἔτεκεν ἀνομίαν (Ⅲ) - Ecce parturiit injustitiam ;/ concepit dolorem, et peperit iniquitatem./ (Ⅳ) - 15 ׃7 הנה יחבל און והרה עמל וילד שקר (Ⅴ)

Il ouvre une fosse, il la creuse, Et il tombe dans la fosse qu'il a faite.
- He made a pit, and digged it, and is fallen into the ditch which he made. (Ⅱ) - λάκκον ὤρυξεν καὶ ἀνέσκαψεν αὐτὸν καὶ ἐμπεσει̃ται εἰς βόθρον ὃν εἰργάσατο (Ⅲ) - Lacum aperuit, et effodit eum ;/ et incidit in foveam quam fecit./ (Ⅳ) - 16 ׃7 בור כרה ויחפרהו ויפל בשחת יפעל (Ⅴ)

Son iniquité retombe sur sa tête, Et sa violence redescend sur son front.
- His mischief shall return upon his own head, and his violent dealing shall come down upon his own pate. (Ⅱ) - ἐπιστρέψει ὁ πόνος αὐτου̃ εἰς κεφαλὴν αὐτου̃ καὶ ἐπὶ κορυφὴν αὐτου̃ ἡ ἀδικία αὐτου̃ καταβήσεται (Ⅲ) - Convertetur dolor ejus in caput ejus,/ et in verticem ipsius iniquitas ejus descendet./ (Ⅳ) - 17 ׃7 ישוב עמלו בראשו ועל קדקדו חמסו ירד (Ⅴ)

Je louerai l'Éternel à cause de sa justice, Je chanterai le nom de l'Éternel, du Très Haut.
- I will praise the LORD according to his righteousness: and will sing praise to the name of the LORD most high. (Ⅱ) - ἐξομολογήσομαι κυρίω̨ κατὰ τὴν δικαιοσύνην αὐτου̃ καὶ ψαλω̃ τω̨̃ ὀνόματι κυρίου του̃ ὑψίστου (Ⅲ) - Confitebor Domino secundum justitiam ejus,/ et psallam nomini Domini altissimi.] (Ⅳ) - 18 ׃7 אודה יהוה כצדקו ואזמרה שם יהוה עליון (Ⅴ)
