13. 1

And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

- L'Éternel parla à Moïse, et dit: (Ⅱ)

- εἰ̃πεν δὲ κύριος πρὸς Μωυση̃ν λέγων (Ⅲ)

- Locutusque est Dominus ad Moysen, dicens : (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 1 ׃13 וידבר יהוה אל משה לאמר ‬ (Ⅴ)

13. 2

Sanctify unto me all the firstborn, whatsoever openeth the womb among the children of Israel, both of man and of beast: it is mine.

- Consacre-moi tout premier-né, tout premier-né parmi les enfants d'Israël, tant des hommes que des animaux: il m'appartient. (Ⅱ)

- ἁγίασόν μοι πα̃ν πρωτότοκον πρωτογενὲς διανοι̃γον πα̃σαν μήτραν ἐν τοι̃ς υἱοι̃ς Ισραηλ ἀπὸ ἀνθρώπου ἕως κτήνους ἐμοί ἐστιν (Ⅲ)

- Sanctifica mihi omne primogenitum quod aperit vulvam in filiis Israël, tam de hominibus quam de jumentis : mea sunt enim omnia. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 2 ׃13 קדש לי כל בכור פטר כל רחם בבני ישראל באדם ובבהמה לי הוא ‬ (Ⅴ)

13. 3

And Moses said unto the people, Remember this day, in which ye came out from Egypt, out of the house of bondage; for by strength of hand the LORD brought you out from this place: there shall no leavened bread be eaten.

- Moïse dit au peuple: Souvenez-vous de ce jour, où vous êtes sortis d'Égypte, de la maison de servitude; car c'est par sa main puissante que l'Éternel vous en a fait sortir. On ne mangera point de pain levé. (Ⅱ)

- εἰ̃πεν δὲ Μωυση̃ς πρὸς τὸν λαόν μνημονεύετε τὴν ἡμέραν ταύτην ἐν ἡ̨̃ ἐξήλθατε ἐκ γη̃ς Αἰγύπτου ἐξ οἴκου δουλείας ἐν γὰρ χειρὶ κραταια̨̃ ἐξήγαγεν ὑμα̃ς κύριος ἐντευ̃θεν καὶ οὐ βρωθήσεται ζύμη (Ⅲ)

- Et ait Moyses ad populum : Mementote diei hujus in qua egressi estis de Ægypto et de domo servitutis, quoniam in manu forti eduxit vos Dominus de loco isto : ut non comedatis fermentatum panem. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 3 ׃13 ויאמר משה אל העם זכור את היום הזה אשר יצאתם ממצרים מבית עבדים כי בחזק יד הוציא יהוה אתכם מזה ולא יאכל חמץ ‬ (Ⅴ)

13. 4

This day came ye out in the month Abib.

- Vous sortez aujourd'hui, dans le mois des épis. (Ⅱ)

- ἐν γὰρ τη̨̃ σήμερον ὑμει̃ς ἐκπορεύεσθε ἐν μηνὶ τω̃ν νέων (Ⅲ)

- Hodie egredimini mense novarum frugum. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 4 ׃13 היום אתם יצאים בחדש האביב ‬ (Ⅴ)

13. 5

And it shall be when the LORD shall bring thee into the land of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, which he sware unto thy fathers to give thee, a land flowing with milk and honey, that thou shalt keep this service in this month.

- Quand l'Éternel t'aura fait entrer dans le pays des Cananéens, des Héthiens, des Amoréens, des Héviens et des Jébusiens, qu'il a juré à tes pères de te donner, pays où coulent le lait et le miel, tu rendras ce culte à l'Éternel dans ce même mois. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἔσται ἡνίκα ἐὰν εἰσαγάγη̨ σε κύριος ὁ θεός σου εἰς τὴν γη̃ν τω̃ν Χαναναίων καὶ Χετταίων καὶ Ευαίων καὶ Γεργεσαίων καὶ Αμορραίων καὶ Φερεζαίων καὶ Ιεβουσαίων ἣν ὤμοσεν τοι̃ς πατράσιν σου δου̃ναί σοι γη̃ν ῥέουσαν γάλα καὶ μέλι καὶ ποιήσεις τὴν λατρείαν ταύτην ἐν τω̨̃ μηνὶ τούτω̨ (Ⅲ)

- Cumque introduxerit te Dominus in terram Chananæi, et Hethæi, et Amorrhæi, et Hevæi, et Jebusæi, quam juravit patribus tuis ut daret tibi, terram fluentem lacte et melle, celebrabis hunc morem sacrorum mense isto. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 5 ׃13 והיה כי יביאך יהוה אל ארץ הכנעני והחתי והאמרי והחוי והיבוסי אשר נשבע לאבתיך לתת לך ארץ זבת חלב ודבש ועבדת את העבדה הזאת בחדש הזה ‬ (Ⅴ)

13. 6

Seven days thou shalt eat unleavened bread, and in the seventh day shall be a feast to the LORD.

- Pendant sept jours, tu mangeras des pains sans levain; et le septième jour, il y aura une fête en l'honneur de l'Éternel. (Ⅱ)

- ἓξ ἡμέρας ἔδεσθε ἄζυμα τη̨̃ δὲ ἡμέρα̨ τη̨̃ ἑβδόμη̨ ἑορτὴ κυρίου (Ⅲ)

- Septem diebus vesceris azymis : et in die septimo erit solemnitas Domini. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 6 ׃13 שבעת ימים תאכל מצת וביום השביעי חג ליהוה ‬ (Ⅴ)

13. 7

Unleavened bread shall be eaten seven days; and there shall no leavened bread be seen with thee, neither shall there be leaven seen with thee in all thy quarters.

- On mangera des pains sans levain pendant les sept jours; on ne verra point chez toi de pain levé, et l'on ne verra point chez toi de levain, dans toute l'étendue de ton pays. (Ⅱ)

- ἄζυμα ἔδεσθε τὰς ἑπτὰ ἡμέρας οὐκ ὀφθήσεταί σοι ζυμωτόν οὐδὲ ἔσται σοι ζύμη ἐν πα̃σιν τοι̃ς ὁρίοις σου (Ⅲ)

- Azyma comedetis septem diebus : non apparebit apud te aliquid fermentatum, nec in cunctis finibus tuis. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 7 ׃13 מצות יאכל את שבעת הימים ולא יראה לך חמץ ולא יראה לך שאר בכל גבלך ‬ (Ⅴ)

13. 8

And thou shalt show thy son in that day, saying, This is done because of that which the LORD did unto me when I came forth out of Egypt.

- Tu diras alors à ton fils: C'est en mémoire de ce que l'Éternel a fait pour moi, lorsque je suis sorti d'Égypte. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἀναγγελει̃ς τω̨̃ υἱω̨̃ σου ἐν τη̨̃ ἡμέρα̨ ἐκείνη̨ λέγων διὰ του̃το ἐποίησεν κύριος ὁ θεός μοι ὡς ἐξεπορευόμην ἐξ Αἰγύπτου (Ⅲ)

- Narrabisque filio tuo in die illo, dicens : Hoc est quod fecit mihi Dominus quando egressus sum de Ægypto. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 8 ׃13 והגדת לבנך ביום ההוא לאמר בעבור זה עשה יהוה לי בצאתי ממצרים ‬ (Ⅴ)

13. 9

And it shall be for a sign unto thee upon thine hand, and for a memorial between thine eyes, that the LORD's law may be in thy mouth: for with a strong hand hath the LORD brought thee out of Egypt.

- Ce sera pour toi comme un signe sur ta main et comme un souvenir entre tes yeux, afin que la loi de l'Éternel soit dans ta bouche; car c'est par sa main puissante que l'Éternel t'a fait sortir d'Égypte. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἔσται σοι σημει̃ον ἐπὶ τη̃ς χειρός σου καὶ μνημόσυνον πρὸ ὀφθαλμω̃ν σου ὅπως ἂν γένηται ὁ νόμος κυρίου ἐν τω̨̃ στόματί σου ἐν γὰρ χειρὶ κραταια̨̃ ἐξήγαγέν σε κύριος ὁ θεὸς ἐξ Αἰγύπτου (Ⅲ)

- Et erit quasi signum in manu tua, et quasi monimentum ante oculos tuos : et ut lex Domini semper sit in ore tuo, in manu enim forti eduxit te Dominus de Ægypto. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 9 ׃13 והיה לך לאות על ידך ולזכרון בין עיניך למען תהיה תורת יהוה בפיך כי ביד חזקה הוצאך יהוה ממצרים ‬ (Ⅴ)

13. 10

Thou shalt therefore keep this ordinance in his season from year to year.

- Tu observeras cette ordonnance au temps fixé d'année en année. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ φυλάξεσθε τὸν νόμον του̃τον κατὰ καιροὺς ὡρω̃ν ἀφ' ἡμερω̃ν εἰς ἡμέρας (Ⅲ)

- Custodies hujuscemodi cultum statuto tempore a diebus in dies. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 10 ׃13 ושמרת את החקה הזאת למועדה מימים ימימה ס‬ (Ⅴ)

13. 11

And it shall be when the LORD shall bring thee into the land of the Canaanites, as he sware unto thee and to thy fathers, and shall give it thee,

- Quand l'Éternel t'aura fait entrer dans le pays des Cananéens, comme il l'a juré à toi et à tes pères, et qu'il te l'aura donné, (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἔσται ὡς ἂν εἰσαγάγη̨ σε κύριος ὁ θεός σου εἰς τὴν γη̃ν τω̃ν Χαναναίων ὃν τρόπον ὤμοσεν τοι̃ς πατράσιν σου καὶ δώσει σοι αὐτήν (Ⅲ)

- Cumque introduxerit te Dominus in terram Chananæi, sicut juravit tibi et patribus tuis, et dederit tibi eam : (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 11 ׃13 והיה כי יבאך יהוה אל ארץ הכנעני כאשר נשבע לך ולאבתיך ונתנה לך ‬ (Ⅴ)

13. 12

That thou shalt set apart unto the LORD all that openeth the matrix, and every firstling that cometh of a beast which thou hast; the males shall be the LORD's.

- tu consacreras à l'Éternel tout premier-né, même tout premier-né des animaux que tu auras: les mâles appartiennent à l'Éternel. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἀφελει̃ς πα̃ν διανοι̃γον μήτραν τὰ ἀρσενικά τω̨̃ κυρίω̨ πα̃ν διανοι̃γον μήτραν ἐκ τω̃ν βουκολίων ἢ ἐν τοι̃ς κτήνεσίν σου ὅσα ἐὰν γένηταί σοι τὰ ἀρσενικά ἁγιάσεις τω̨̃ κυρίω̨ (Ⅲ)

- separabis omne quod aperit vulvam Domino, et quod primitivum est in pecoribus tuis : quidquid habueris masculini sexus, consecrabis Domino. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 12 ׃13 והעברת כל פטר רחם ליהוה וכל פטר שגר בהמה אשר יהיה לך הזכרים ליהוה ‬ (Ⅴ)

13. 13

And every firstling of an ass thou shalt redeem with a lamb; and if thou wilt not redeem it, then thou shalt break his neck: and all the firstborn of man among thy children shalt thou redeem.

- Tu rachèteras avec un agneau tout premier-né de l'âne; et, si tu ne le rachètes pas, tu lui briseras la nuque. Tu rachèteras aussi tout premier-né de l'homme parmi tes fils. (Ⅱ)

- πα̃ν διανοι̃γον μήτραν ὄνου ἀλλάξεις προβάτω̨ ἐὰν δὲ μὴ ἀλλάξη̨ς λυτρώση̨ αὐτό πα̃ν πρωτότοκον ἀνθρώπου τω̃ν υἱω̃ν σου λυτρώση̨ (Ⅲ)

- Primogenitum asini mutabis ove : quod si non redemeris, interficies. Omne autem primogenitum hominis de filiis tuis, pretio redimes. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 13 ׃13 וכל פטר חמר תפדה בשה ואם לא תפדה וערפתו וכל בכור אדם בבניך תפדה ‬ (Ⅴ)

13. 14

And it shall be when thy son asketh thee in time to come, saying, What is this? that thou shalt say unto him, By strength of hand the LORD brought us out from Egypt, from the house of bondage:

- Et lorsque ton fils te demandera un jour: Que signifie cela? tu lui répondras: Par sa main puissante, l'Éternel nous a fait sortir d'Égypte, de la maison de servitude; (Ⅱ)

- ἐὰν δὲ ἐρωτήση̨ σε ὁ υἱός σου μετὰ ταυ̃τα λέγων τί του̃το καὶ ἐρει̃ς αὐτω̨̃ ὅτι ἐν χειρὶ κραταια̨̃ ἐξήγαγεν ἡμα̃ς κύριος ἐκ γη̃ς Αἰγύπτου ἐξ οἴκου δουλείας (Ⅲ)

- Cumque interrogaverit te filius tuus cras, dicens : Quid est hoc ? respondebis ei : In manu forti eduxit nos Dominus de terra Ægypti, de domo servitutis. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 14 ׃13 והיה כי ישאלך בנך מחר לאמר מה זאת ואמרת אליו בחזק יד הוציאנו יהוה ממצרים מבית עבדים ‬ (Ⅴ)

13. 15

And it came to pass, when Pharaoh would hardly let us go, that the LORD slew all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both the firstborn of man, and the firstborn of beast: therefore I sacrifice to the LORD all that openeth the matrix, being males; but all the firstborn of my children I redeem.

- et, comme Pharaon s'obstinait à ne point nous laisser aller, l'Éternel fit mourir tous les premiers-nés dans le pays d'Égypte, depuis les premiers-nés des hommes jusqu'aux premiers-nés des animaux. Voilà pourquoi j'offre en sacrifice à l'Éternel tout premier-né des mâles, et je rachète tout premier-né de mes fils. (Ⅱ)

- ἡνίκα δὲ ἐσκλήρυνεν Φαραω ἐξαποστει̃λαι ἡμα̃ς ἀπέκτεινεν πα̃ν πρωτότοκον ἐν γη̨̃ Αἰγύπτω̨ ἀπὸ πρωτοτόκων ἀνθρώπων ἕως πρωτοτόκων κτηνω̃ν διὰ του̃το ἐγὼ θύω τω̨̃ κυρίω̨ πα̃ν διανοι̃γον μήτραν τὰ ἀρσενικά καὶ πα̃ν πρωτότοκον τω̃ν υἱω̃ν μου λυτρώσομαι (Ⅲ)

- Nam cum induratus esset Pharao, et nollet nos dimittere, occidit Dominus omne primogenitum in terra Ægypti, a primogenito hominis usque ad primogenitum jumentorum : idcirco immolo Domino omne quod aperit vulvam masculini sexus, et omnia primogenita filiorum meorum redimo. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 15 ׃13 ויהי כי הקשה פרעה לשלחנו ויהרג יהוה כל בכור בארץ מצרים מבכר אדם ועד בכור בהמה על כן אני זבח ליהוה כל פטר רחם הזכרים וכל בכור בני אפדה ‬ (Ⅴ)

13. 16

And it shall be for a token upon thine hand, and for frontlets between thine eyes: for by strength of hand the LORD brought us forth out of Egypt.

- Ce sera comme un signe sur ta main et comme des fronteaux entre tes yeux; car c'est par sa main puissante que l'Éternel nous a fait sortir d'Égypte. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἔσται εἰς σημει̃ον ἐπὶ τη̃ς χειρός σου καὶ ἀσάλευτον πρὸ ὀφθαλμω̃ν σου ἐν γὰρ χειρὶ κραταια̨̃ ἐξήγαγέν σε κύριος ἐξ Αἰγύπτου (Ⅲ)

- Erit igitur quasi signum in manu tua, et quasi appensum quid, ob recordationem, inter oculos tuos : eo quod in manu forti eduxit nos Dominus de Ægypto.\ (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 16 ׃13 והיה לאות על ידכה ולטוטפת בין עיניך כי בחזק יד הוציאנו יהוה ממצרים ס‬ (Ⅴ)

13. 17

And it came to pass, when Pharaoh had let the people go, that God led them not through the way of the land of the Philistines, although that was near; for God said, Lest peradventure the people repent when they see war, and they return to Egypt:

- Lorsque Pharaon laissa aller le peuple, Dieu ne le conduisit point par le chemin du pays des Philistins, quoique le plus proche; car Dieu dit: Le peuple pourrait se repentir en voyant la guerre, et retourner en Égypte. (Ⅱ)

- ὡς δὲ ἐξαπέστειλεν Φαραω τὸν λαόν οὐχ ὡδήγησεν αὐτοὺς ὁ θεὸς ὁδὸν γη̃ς Φυλιστιιμ ὅτι ἐγγὺς ἠ̃ν εἰ̃πεν γὰρ ὁ θεός μήποτε μεταμελήση̨ τω̨̃ λαω̨̃ ἰδόντι πόλεμον καὶ ἀποστρέψη̨ εἰς Αἴγυπτον (Ⅲ)

- Igitur cum emisisset Pharao populum, non eos duxit Deus per viam terræ Philisthiim quæ vicina est : reputans ne forte pœniteret eum, si vidisset adversum se bella consurgere, et reverteretur in Ægyptum. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 17 ׃13 ויהי בשלח פרעה את העם ולא נחם אלהים דרך ארץ פלשתים כי קרוב הוא כי אמר אלהים פן ינחם העם בראתם מלחמה ושבו מצרימה ‬ (Ⅴ)

13. 18

But God led the people about, through the way of the wilderness of the Red sea: and the children of Israel went up harnessed out of the land of Egypt.

- Mais Dieu fit faire au peuple un détour par le chemin du désert, vers la mer Rouge. Les enfants d'Israël montèrent en armes hors du pays d'Égypte. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἐκύκλωσεν ὁ θεὸς τὸν λαὸν ὁδὸν τὴν εἰς τὴν ἔρημον εἰς τὴν ἐρυθρὰν θάλασσαν πέμπτη δὲ γενεὰ ἀνέβησαν οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ ἐκ γη̃ς Αἰγύπτου (Ⅲ)

- Sed circumduxit per viam deserti, quæ est juxta mare Rubrum : et armati ascenderunt filii Israël de terra Ægypti. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 18 ׃13 ויסב אלהים את העם דרך המדבר ים סוף וחמשים עלו בני ישראל מארץ מצרים ‬ (Ⅴ)

13. 19

And Moses took the bones of Joseph with him: for he had straitly sworn the children of Israel, saying, God will surely visit you; and ye shall carry up my bones away hence with you.

- Moïse prit avec lui les os de Joseph; car Joseph avait fait jurer les fils d'Israël, en disant: Dieu vous visitera, et vous ferez remonter avec vous mes os loin d'ici. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἔλαβεν Μωυση̃ς τὰ ὀστα̃ Ιωσηφ μεθ' ἑαυτου̃ ὅρκω̨ γὰρ ὥρκισεν Ιωσηφ τοὺς υἱοὺς Ισραηλ λέγων ἐπισκοπη̨̃ ἐπισκέψεται ὑμα̃ς κύριος καὶ συνανοίσετέ μου τὰ ὀστα̃ ἐντευ̃θεν μεθ' ὑμω̃ν (Ⅲ)

- Tulit quoque Moyses ossa Joseph secum : eo quod adjurasset filios Israël, dicens : Visitabit vos Deus ; efferte ossa mea hinc vobiscum. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 19 ׃13 ויקח משה את עצמות יוסף עמו כי השבע השביע את בני ישראל לאמר פקד יפקד אלהים אתכם והעליתם את עצמתי מזה אתכם ‬ (Ⅴ)

13. 20

And they took their journey from Succoth, and encamped in Etham, in the edge of the wilderness.

- Ils partirent de Succoth, et ils campèrent à Étham, à l'extrémité du désert. (Ⅱ)

- ἐξάραντες δὲ οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ ἐκ Σοκχωθ ἐστρατοπέδευσαν ἐν Οθομ παρὰ τὴν ἔρημον (Ⅲ)

- Profectique de Socoth castrametati sunt in Etham, in extremis finibus solitudinis. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 20 ׃13 ויסעו מסכת ויחנו באתם בקצה המדבר ‬ (Ⅴ)

13. 21

And the LORD went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night:

- L'Éternel allait devant eux, le jour dans une colonne de nuée pour les guider dans leur chemin, et la nuit dans une colonne de feu pour les éclairer, afin qu'ils marchassent jour et nuit. (Ⅱ)

- ὁ δὲ θεὸς ἡγει̃το αὐτω̃ν ἡμέρας μὲν ἐν στύλω̨ νεφέλης δει̃ξαι αὐτοι̃ς τὴν ὁδόν τὴν δὲ νύκτα ἐν στύλω̨ πυρός (Ⅲ)

- Dominus autem præcedebat eos ad ostendendam viam per diem in columna nubis, et per noctem in columna ignis : ut dux esset itineris utroque tempore. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 21 ׃13 ויהוה הלך לפניהם יומם בעמוד ענן לנחתם הדרך ולילה בעמוד אש להאיר להם ללכת יומם ולילה ‬ (Ⅴ)

13. 22

He took not away the pillar of the cloud by day, nor the pillar of fire by night, from before the people.

- La colonne de nuée ne se retirait point de devant le peuple pendant le jour, ni la colonne de feu pendant la nuit. (Ⅱ)

- οὐκ ἐξέλιπεν ὁ στυ̃λος τη̃ς νεφέλης ἡμέρας καὶ ὁ στυ̃λος του̃ πυρὸς νυκτὸς ἐναντίον παντὸς του̃ λαου̃ (Ⅲ)

- Numquam defuit columna nubis per diem, nec columna ignis per noctem, coram populo. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 22 ׃13 לא ימיש עמוד הענן יומם ועמוד האש לילה לפני העם פ‬ (Ⅴ)
