And Moses answered and said, But, behold, they will not believe me, nor hearken unto my voice: for they will say, The LORD hath not appeared unto thee.
- Moïse répondit, et dit: Voici, ils ne me croiront point, et ils n'écouteront point ma voix. Mais ils diront: L'Éternel ne t'est point apparu. (Ⅱ) - ἀπεκρίθη δὲ Μωυση̃ς καὶ εἰ̃πεν ἐὰν οὐ̃ν μὴ πιστεύσωσίν μοι μηδὲ εἰσακούσωσιν τη̃ς φωνη̃ς μου ἐρου̃σιν γὰρ ὅτι οὐκ ὠ̃πταί σοι ὁ θεός τί ἐρω̃ πρὸς αὐτούς (Ⅲ) - Respondens Moyses ait : Non credent mihi, neque audient vocem meam, sed dicent : Non apparuit tibi Dominus. (Ⅳ) - 1 ׃4 ויען משה ויאמר והן לא יאמינו לי ולא ישמעו בקלי כי יאמרו לא נראה אליך יהוה (Ⅴ)

And the LORD said unto him, What is that in thine hand? And he said, A rod.
- L'Éternel lui dit: Qu'y a-t-il dans ta main? Il répondit: Une verge. (Ⅱ) - εἰ̃πεν δὲ αὐτω̨̃ κύριος τί του̃τό ἐστιν τὸ ἐν τη̨̃ χειρί σου ὁ δὲ εἰ̃πεν ῥάβδος (Ⅲ) - Dixit ergo ad eum : Quid est quod tenes in manu tua ? Respondit : Virga. (Ⅳ) - 2 ׃4 ויאמר אליו יהוה *מזה **מה **זה[a] בידך ויאמר מטה (Ⅴ)

And he said, Cast it on the ground. And he cast it on the ground, and it became a serpent; and Moses fled from before it.
- L'Éternel dit: Jette-la par terre. Il la jeta par terre, et elle devint un serpent. Moïse fuyait devant lui. (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἰ̃πεν ῥι̃ψον αὐτὴν ἐπὶ τὴν γη̃ν καὶ ἔρριψεν αὐτὴν ἐπὶ τὴν γη̃ν καὶ ἐγένετο ὄφις καὶ ἔφυγεν Μωυση̃ς ἀπ' αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ) - Dixitque Dominus : Projice eam in terram. Projecit, et versa est in colubrum, ita ut fugeret Moyses. (Ⅳ) - 3 ׃4 ויאמר השליכהו ארצה וישליכהו ארצה ויהי לנחש וינס משה מפניו (Ⅴ)

And the LORD said unto Moses, Put forth thine hand, and take it by the tail. And he put forth his hand, and caught it, and it became a rod in his hand:
- L'Éternel dit à Moïse: Étends ta main, et saisis-le par la queue. Il étendit la main et le saisit et le serpent redevint une verge dans sa main. (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἰ̃πεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυση̃ν ἕκτεινον τὴν χει̃ρα καὶ ἐπιλαβου̃ τη̃ς κέρκου ἐκτείνας οὐ̃ν τὴν χει̃ρα ἐπελάβετο τη̃ς κέρκου καὶ ἐγένετο ῥάβδος ἐν τη̨̃ χειρὶ αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ) - Dixitque Dominus : Extende manum tuam, et apprehende caudam ejus. Extendit, et tenuit, versaque est in virgam. (Ⅳ) - 4 ׃4 ויאמר יהוה אל משה שלח ידך ואחז בזנבו וישלח ידו ויחזק בו ויהי למטה בכפו (Ⅴ)

That they may believe that the LORD God of their fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath appeared unto thee.
- C'est là, dit l'Éternel, ce que tu feras, afin qu'ils croient que l'Éternel, le Dieu de leurs pères, t'est apparu, le Dieu d'Abraham, le Dieu d'Isaac et le Dieu de Jacob. (Ⅱ) - ἵνα πιστεύσωσίν σοι ὅτι ὠ̃πταί σοι κύριος ὁ θεὸς τω̃ν πατέρων αὐτω̃ν θεὸς Αβρααμ καὶ θεὸς Ισαακ καὶ θεὸς Ιακωβ (Ⅲ) - Ut credant, inquit, quod apparuerit tibi Dominus Deus patrum suorum, Deus Abraham, Deus Isaac et Deus Jacob. (Ⅳ) - 5 ׃4 למען יאמינו כי נראה אליך יהוה אלהי אבתם אלהי אברהם אלהי יצחק ואלהי יעקב (Ⅴ)

And the LORD said furthermore unto him, Put now thine hand into thy bosom. And he put his hand into his bosom: and when he took it out, behold, his hand was leprous as snow.
- L'Éternel lui dit encore: Mets ta main dans ton sein. Il mit sa main dans son sein; puis il la retira, et voici, sa main était couverte de lèpre, blanche comme la neige. (Ⅱ) - εἰ̃πεν δὲ αὐτω̨̃ κύριος πάλιν εἰσένεγκε τὴν χει̃ρά σου εἰς τὸν κόλπον σου καὶ εἰσήνεγκεν τὴν χει̃ρα αὐτου̃ εἰς τὸν κόλπον αὐτου̃ καὶ ἐξήνεγκεν τὴν χει̃ρα αὐτου̃ ἐκ του̃ κόλπου αὐτου̃ καὶ ἐγενήθη ἡ χεὶρ αὐτου̃ ὡσεὶ χιών (Ⅲ) - Dixitque Dominus rursum : Mitte manum tuam in sinum tuum. Quam cum misisset in sinum, protulit leprosam instar nivis. (Ⅳ) - 6 ׃4 ויאמר יהוה לו עוד הבא נא ידך בחיקך ויבא ידו בחיקו ויוצאה והנה ידו מצרעת כשלג (Ⅴ)

And he said, Put thine hand into thy bosom again. And he put his hand into his bosom again; and plucked it out of his bosom, and, behold, it was turned again as his other flesh.
- L'Éternel dit: Remets ta main dans ton sein. Il remit sa main dans son sein; puis il la retira de son sein, et voici, elle était redevenue comme sa chair. (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἰ̃πεν πάλιν εἰσένεγκε τὴν χει̃ρά σου εἰς τὸν κόλπον σου καὶ εἰσήνεγκεν τὴν χει̃ρα εἰς τὸν κόλπον αὐτου̃ καὶ ἐξήνεγκεν αὐτὴν ἐκ του̃ κόλπου αὐτου̃ καὶ πάλιν ἀπεκατέστη εἰς τὴν χρόαν τη̃ς σαρκὸς αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ) - Retrahe, ait, manum tuam in sinum tuum. Retraxit, et protulit iterum, et erat similis carni reliquæ. (Ⅳ) - 7 ׃4 ויאמר השב ידך אל חיקך וישב ידו אל חיקו ויוצאה מחיקו והנה שבה כבשרו (Ⅴ)

And it shall come to pass, if they will not believe thee, neither hearken to the voice of the first sign, that they will believe the voice of the latter sign.
- S'ils ne te croient pas, dit l'Éternel, et n'écoutent pas la voix du premier signe, ils croiront à la voix du dernier signe. (Ⅱ) - ἐὰν δὲ μὴ πιστεύσωσίν σοι μηδὲ εἰσακούσωσιν τη̃ς φωνη̃ς του̃ σημείου του̃ πρώτου πιστεύσουσίν σοι τη̃ς φωνη̃ς του̃ σημείου του̃ ἐσχάτου (Ⅲ) - Si non crediderint, inquit, tibi, neque audierint sermonem signi prioris, credent verbo signi sequentis. (Ⅳ) - 8 ׃4 והיה אם לא יאמינו לך ולא ישמעו לקל האת הראשון והאמינו לקל האת האחרון (Ⅴ)

And it shall come to pass, if they will not believe also these two signs, neither hearken unto thy voice, that thou shalt take of the water of the river, and pour it upon the dry land: and the water which thou takest out of the river shall become blood upon the dry land.
- S'ils ne croient pas même à ces deux signes, et n'écoutent pas ta voix, tu prendras de l'eau du fleuve, tu la répandras sur la terre, et l'eau que tu auras prise du fleuve deviendra du sang sur la terre. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἔσται ἐὰν μὴ πιστεύσωσίν σοι τοι̃ς δυσὶ σημείοις τούτοις μηδὲ εἰσακούσωσιν τη̃ς φωνη̃ς σου λήμψη̨ ἀπὸ του̃ ὕδατος του̃ ποταμου̃ καὶ ἐκχεει̃ς ἐπὶ τὸ ξηρόν καὶ ἔσται τὸ ὕδωρ ὃ ἐὰν λάβη̨ς ἀπὸ του̃ ποταμου̃ αἱ̃μα ἐπὶ του̃ ξηρου̃ (Ⅲ) - Quod si nec duobus quidem his signis crediderint, neque audierint vocem tuam : sume aquam fluminis, et effunde eam super aridam, et quidquid hauseris de fluvio, vertetur in sanguinem.\ (Ⅳ) - 9 ׃4 והיה אם לא יאמינו גם לשני האתות האלה ולא ישמעון לקלך ולקחת ממימי היאר ושפכת היבשה והיו המים אשר תקח מן היאר והיו לדם ביבשת (Ⅴ)

And Moses said unto the LORD, O my LORD, I am not eloquent, neither heretofore, nor since thou hast spoken unto thy servant: but I am slow of speech, and of a slow tongue.
- Moïse dit à l'Éternel: Ah! Seigneur, je ne suis pas un homme qui ait la parole facile, et ce n'est ni d'hier ni d'avant-hier, ni même depuis que tu parles à ton serviteur; car j'ai la bouche et la langue embarrassées. (Ⅱ) - εἰ̃πεν δὲ Μωυση̃ς πρὸς κύριον δέομαι κύριε οὐχ ἱκανός εἰμι πρὸ τη̃ς ἐχθὲς οὐδὲ πρὸ τη̃ς τρίτης ἡμέρας οὐδὲ ἀφ' οὑ̃ ἤρξω λαλει̃ν τω̨̃ θεράποντί σου ἰσχνόφωνος καὶ βραδύγλωσσος ἐγώ εἰμι (Ⅲ) - Ait Moyses : Obsecro, Domine, non sum eloquens ab heri et nudiustertius : et ex quo locutus es ad servum tuum, impeditioris et tardioris linguæ sum. (Ⅳ) - 10 ׃4 ויאמר משה אל יהוה בי אדני לא איש דברים אנכי גם מתמול גם משלשם גם מאז דברך[1] אל עבדך כי כבד פה וכבד לשון אנכי (Ⅴ)

And the LORD said unto him, Who hath made man's mouth? or who maketh the dumb, or deaf, or the seeing, or the blind? have not I the LORD?
- L'Éternel lui dit: Qui a fait la bouche de l'homme? et qui rend muet ou sourd, voyant ou aveugle? N'est-ce pas moi, l'Éternel? (Ⅱ) - εἰ̃πεν δὲ κύριος πρὸς Μωυση̃ν τίς ἔδωκεν στόμα ἀνθρώπω̨ καὶ τίς ἐποίησεν δύσκωφον καὶ κωφόν βλέποντα καὶ τυφλόν οὐκ ἐγὼ ὁ θεός (Ⅲ) - Dixit Dominus ad eum : Quis fecit os hominis ? aut quis fabricatus est mutum et surdum, videntem et cæcum ? nonne ego ? (Ⅳ) - 11 ׃4 ויאמר יהוה אליו מי שם פה לאדם או מי ישום אלם או חרש או פקח או עור הלא אנכי יהוה (Ⅴ)

Now therefore go, and I will be with thy mouth, and teach thee what thou shalt say.
- Va donc, je serai avec ta bouche, et je t'enseignerai ce que tu auras à dire. (Ⅱ) - καὶ νυ̃ν πορεύου καὶ ἐγὼ ἀνοίξω τὸ στόμα σου καὶ συμβιβάσω σε ὃ μέλλεις λαλη̃σαι (Ⅲ) - Perge, igitur, et ego ero in ore tuo : doceboque te quid loquaris. (Ⅳ) - 12 ׃4 ועתה לך ואנכי אהיה עם פיך והוריתיך אשר תדבר (Ⅴ)

And he said, O my LORD, send, I pray thee, by the hand of him whom thou wilt send.
- Moïse dit: Ah! Seigneur, envoie qui tu voudras envoyer. (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἰ̃πεν Μωυση̃ς δέομαι κύριε προχείρισαι δυνάμενον ἄλλον ὃν ἀποστελει̃ς (Ⅲ) - At ille : Obsecro, inquit, Domine, mitte quem missurus es. (Ⅳ) - 13 ׃4 ויאמר בי אדני שלח נא ביד תשלח (Ⅴ)

And the anger of the LORD was kindled against Moses, and he said, Is not Aaron the Levite thy brother? I know that he can speak well. And also, behold, he cometh forth to meet thee: and when he seeth thee, he will be glad in his heart.
- Alors la colère de l'Éternel s'enflamma contre Moïse, et il dit: N'y a t-il pas ton frère Aaron, le Lévite? Je sais qu'il parlera facilement. Le voici lui-même, qui vient au-devant de toi; et, quand il te verra, il se réjouira dans son coeur. (Ⅱ) - καὶ θυμωθεὶς ὀργη̨̃ κύριος ἐπὶ Μωυση̃ν εἰ̃πεν οὐκ ἰδοὺ Ααρων ὁ ἀδελφός σου ὁ Λευίτης ἐπίσταμαι ὅτι λαλω̃ν λαλήσει αὐτός σοι καὶ ἰδοὺ αὐτὸς ἐξελεύσεται εἰς συνάντησίν σοι καὶ ἰδών σε χαρήσεται ἐν ἑαυτω̨̃ (Ⅲ) - Iratus Dominus in Moysen, ait : Aaron frater tuus Levites, scio quod eloquens sit : ecce ipse egreditur in occursum tuum, vidensque te lætabitur corde. (Ⅳ) - 14 ׃4 ויחר אף יהוה במשה ויאמר הלא אהרן אחיך הלוי ידעתי כי דבר ידבר הוא וגם הנה הוא יצא לקראתך וראך ושמח בלבו (Ⅴ)

And thou shalt speak unto him, and put words in his mouth: and I will be with thy mouth, and with his mouth, and will teach you what ye shall do.
- Tu lui parleras, et tu mettras les paroles dans sa bouche; et moi, je serai avec ta bouche et avec sa bouche, et je vous enseignerai ce que vous aurez à faire. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐρει̃ς πρὸς αὐτὸν καὶ δώσεις τὰ ῥήματά μου εἰς τὸ στόμα αὐτου̃ καὶ ἐγὼ ἀνοίξω τὸ στόμα σου καὶ τὸ στόμα αὐτου̃ καὶ συμβιβάσω ὑμα̃ς ἃ ποιήσετε (Ⅲ) - Loquere ad eum, et pone verba mea in ore ejus : et ego ero in ore tuo, et in ore illius, et ostendam vobis quid agere debeatis. (Ⅳ) - 15 ׃4 ודברת אליו ושמת את הדברים בפיו ואנכי אהיה עם פיך ועם פיהו והוריתי אתכם את אשר תעשון (Ⅴ)

And he shall be thy spokesman unto the people: and he shall be, even he shall be to thee instead of a mouth, and thou shalt be to him instead of God.
- Il parlera pour toi au peuple; il te servira de bouche, et tu tiendras pour lui la place de Dieu. (Ⅱ) - καὶ αὐτός σοι προσλαλήσει πρὸς τὸν λαόν καὶ αὐτὸς ἔσται σου στόμα σὺ δὲ αὐτω̨̃ ἔση̨ τὰ πρὸς τὸν θεόν (Ⅲ) - Ipse loquetur pro te ad populum, et erit os tuum : tu autem eris ei in his quæ ad Deum pertinent. (Ⅳ) - 16 ׃4 ודבר הוא לך אל העם והיה הוא יהיה לך לפה ואתה תהיה לו לאלהים (Ⅴ)

And thou shalt take this rod in thine hand, wherewith thou shalt do signs.
- Prends dans ta main cette verge, avec laquelle tu feras les signes. (Ⅱ) - καὶ τὴν ῥάβδον ταύτην τὴν στραφει̃σαν εἰς ὄφιν λήμψη̨ ἐν τη̨̃ χειρί σου ἐν ἡ̨̃ ποιήσεις ἐν αὐτη̨̃ τὰ σημει̃α (Ⅲ) - Virgam quoque hanc sume in manu tua, in qua facturus es signa. (Ⅳ) - 17 ׃4 ואת המטה הזה תקח בידך אשר תעשה בו את האתת פ (Ⅴ)

And Moses went and returned to Jethro his father in law, and said unto him, Let me go, I pray thee, and return unto my brethren which are in Egypt, and see whether they be yet alive. And Jethro said to Moses, Go in peace.
- Moïse s'en alla; et de retour auprès de Jéthro, son beau-père, il lui dit: Laisse-moi, je te prie, aller rejoindre mes frères qui sont en Égypte, afin que je voie s'ils sont encore vivants. Jéthro dit à Moïse: Va en paix. (Ⅱ) - ἐπορεύθη δὲ Μωυση̃ς καὶ ἀπέστρεψεν πρὸς Ιοθορ τὸν γαμβρὸν αὐτου̃ καὶ λέγει πορεύσομαι καὶ ἀποστρέψω πρὸς τοὺς ἀδελφούς μου τοὺς ἐν Αἰγύπτω̨ καὶ ὄψομαι εἰ ἔτι ζω̃σιν καὶ εἰ̃πεν Ιοθορ Μωυση̨̃ βάδιζε ὑγιαίνων (Ⅲ) - Abiit Moyses, et reversus est ad Jethro socerum suum, dixitque ei : Vadam et revertar ad fratres meos in Ægyptum, ut videam si adhuc vivant. Cui ait Jethro : Vade in pace.\ (Ⅳ) - 18 ׃4 וילך משה וישב אל יתר חתנו ויאמר לו אלכה[1] נא ואשובה אל אחי אשר במצרים ואראה העודם חיים ויאמר יתרו למשה לך לשלום (Ⅴ)

And the LORD said unto Moses in Midian, Go, return into Egypt: for all the men are dead which sought thy life.
- L'Éternel dit à Moïse, en Madian: Va, retourne en Égypte, car tous ceux qui en voulaient à ta vie sont morts. (Ⅱ) - μετὰ δὲ τὰς ἡμέρας τὰς πολλὰς ἐκείνας ἐτελεύτησεν ὁ βασιλεὺς Αἰγύπτου εἰ̃πεν δὲ κύριος πρὸς Μωυση̃ν ἐν Μαδιαμ βάδιζε ἄπελθε εἰς Αἴγυπτον τεθνήκασιν γὰρ πάντες οἱ ζητου̃ντές σου τὴν ψυχήν (Ⅲ) - Dixit ergo Dominus ad Moysen in Madian : Vade, et revertere in Ægyptum, mortui sunt enim omnes qui quærebant animam tuam. (Ⅳ) - 19 ׃4 ויאמר יהוה אל משה במדין לך שב מצרים כי מתו כל האנשים המבקשים את נפשך (Ⅴ)

And Moses took his wife and his sons, and set them upon an ass, and he returned to the land of Egypt: and Moses took the rod of God in his hand.
- Moïse prit sa femme et ses fils, les fit monter sur des ânes, et retourna dans le pays d'Égypte. Il prit dans sa main la verge de Dieu. (Ⅱ) - ἀναλαβὼν δὲ Μωυση̃ς τὴν γυναι̃κα καὶ τὰ παιδία ἀνεβίβασεν αὐτὰ ἐπὶ τὰ ὑποζύγια καὶ ἐπέστρεψεν εἰς Αἴγυπτον ἔλαβεν δὲ Μωυση̃ς τὴν ῥάβδον τὴν παρὰ του̃ θεου̃ ἐν τη̨̃ χειρὶ αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ) - Tulit ergo Moyses uxorem suam, et filios suos, et imposuit eos super asinum : reversusque est in Ægyptum, portans virgam Dei in manu sua. (Ⅳ) - 20 ׃4 ויקח משה את אשתו ואת בניו וירכבם על החמר וישב ארצה מצרים ויקח משה את מטה האלהים בידו (Ⅴ)

And the LORD said unto Moses, When thou goest to return into Egypt, see that thou do all those wonders before Pharaoh, which I have put in thine hand: but I will harden his heart, that he shall not let the people go.
- L'Éternel dit à Moïse: En partant pour retourner en Égypte, vois tous les prodiges que je mets en ta main: tu les feras devant Pharaon. Et moi, j'endurcirai son coeur, et il ne laissera point aller le peuple. (Ⅱ) - εἰ̃πεν δὲ κύριος πρὸς Μωυση̃ν πορευομένου σου καὶ ἀποστρέφοντος εἰς Αἴγυπτον ὅρα πάντα τὰ τέρατα ἃ ἔδωκα ἐν ται̃ς χερσίν σου ποιήσεις αὐτὰ ἐναντίον Φαραω ἐγὼ δὲ σκληρυνω̃ τὴν καρδίαν αὐτου̃ καὶ οὐ μὴ ἐξαποστείλη̨ τὸν λαόν (Ⅲ) - Dixitque ei Dominus revertenti in Ægyptum : Vide ut omnia ostenta quæ posui in manu tua, facias coram Pharaone : ego indurabo cor ejus, et non dimittet populum. (Ⅳ) - 21 ׃4 ויאמר יהוה אל משה בלכתך לשוב מצרימה ראה כל המפתים אשר שמתי בידך ועשיתם לפני פרעה ואני אחזק את לבו ולא ישלח את העם (Ⅴ)

And thou shalt say unto Pharaoh, Thus saith the LORD, Israel is my son, even my firstborn:
- Tu diras à Pharaon: Ainsi parle l'Éternel: Israël est mon fils, mon premier-né. (Ⅱ) - σὺ δὲ ἐρει̃ς τω̨̃ Φαραω τάδε λέγει κύριος υἱὸς πρωτότοκός μου Ισραηλ (Ⅲ) - Dicesque ad eum : Hæc dicit Dominus : Filius meus primogenitus Israël. (Ⅳ) - 22 ׃4 ואמרת אל פרעה כה אמר יהוה בני בכרי ישראל (Ⅴ)

And I say unto thee, Let my son go, that he may serve me: and if thou refuse to let him go, behold, I will slay thy son, even thy firstborn.
- Je te dis: Laisse aller mon fils, pour qu'il me serve; si tu refuses de le laisser aller, voici, je ferai périr ton fils, ton premier-né. (Ⅱ) - εἰ̃πα δέ σοι ἐξαπόστειλον τὸν λαόν μου ἵνα μοι λατρεύση̨ εἰ μὲν οὐ̃ν μὴ βούλει ἐξαποστει̃λαι αὐτούς ὅρα οὐ̃ν ἐγὼ ἀποκτενω̃ τὸν υἱόν σου τὸν πρωτότοκον (Ⅲ) - Dixi tibi : Dimitte filium meum ut serviat mihi ; et noluisti dimittere eum : ecce ego interficiam filium tuum primogenitum. (Ⅳ) - 23 ׃4 ואמר אליך שלח את בני ויעבדני ותמאן לשלחו הנה אנכי הרג את בנך בכרך (Ⅴ)

And it came to pass by the way in the inn, that the LORD met him, and sought to kill him.
- Pendant le voyage, en un lieu où Moïse passa la nuit, l'Éternel l'attaqua et voulut le faire mourir. (Ⅳ) - 24 ׃4 ויהי בדרך במלון ויפגשהו יהוה ויבקש המיתו (Ⅴ)

Then Zipporah took a sharp stone, and cut off the foreskin of her son, and cast it at his feet, and said, Surely a bloody husband art thou to me.
- Séphora prit une pierre aiguë, coupa le prépuce de son fils, et le jeta aux pieds de Moïse, en disant: Tu es pour moi un époux de sang! (Ⅱ) - καὶ λαβου̃σα Σεπφωρα ψη̃φον περιέτεμεν τὴν ἀκροβυστίαν του̃ υἱου̃ αὐτη̃ς καὶ προσέπεσεν πρὸς τοὺς πόδας καὶ εἰ̃πεν ἔστη τὸ αἱ̃μα τη̃ς περιτομη̃ς του̃ παιδίου μου (Ⅲ) - Tulit idcirco Sephora acutissimam petram, et circumcidit præputium filii sui, tetigitque pedes ejus, et ait : Sponsus sanguinum tu mihi es. (Ⅳ) - 25 ׃4 ותקח צפרה צר ותכרת את ערלת בנה ותגע לרגליו ותאמר כי חתן דמים אתה לי (Ⅴ)

So he let him go: then she said, A bloody husband thou art, because of the circumcision.
- Et l'Éternel le laissa. C'est alors qu'elle dit: Époux de sang! à cause de la circoncision. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἀπη̃λθεν ἀπ' αὐτου̃ διότι εἰ̃πεν ἔστη τὸ αἱ̃μα τη̃ς περιτομη̃ς του̃ παιδίου μου (Ⅲ) - Et dimisit eum postquam dixerat : Sponsus sanguinum ob circumcisionem. (Ⅳ) - 26 ׃4 וירף ממנו אז אמרה חתן דמים למולת פ (Ⅴ)

And the LORD said to Aaron, Go into the wilderness to meet Moses. And he went, and met him in the mount of God, and kissed him.
- L'Éternel dit à Aaron: Va dans le désert au-devant de Moïse. Aaron partit; il rencontra Moïse à la montagne de Dieu, et il le baisa. (Ⅱ) - εἰ̃πεν δὲ κύριος πρὸς Ααρων πορεύθητι εἰς συνάντησιν Μωυσει̃ εἰς τὴν ἔρημον καὶ ἐπορεύθη καὶ συνήντησεν αὐτω̨̃ ἐν τω̨̃ ὄρει του̃ θεου̃ καὶ κατεφίλησαν ἀλλήλους (Ⅲ) - Dixit autem Dominus ad Aaron : Vade in occursum Moysi in desertum. Qui perrexit obviam ei in montem Dei, et osculatus est eum. (Ⅳ) - 27 ׃4 ויאמר יהוה אל אהרן לך לקראת משה המדברה וילך ויפגשהו בהר האלהים וישק לו (Ⅴ)

And Moses told Aaron all the words of the LORD who had sent him, and all the signs which he had commanded him.
- Moïse fit connaître à Aaron toutes les paroles de l'Éternel qui l'avait envoyé, et tous les signes qu'il lui avait ordonné de faire. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἀνήγγειλεν Μωυση̃ς τω̨̃ Ααρων πάντας τοὺς λόγους κυρίου οὓς ἀπέστειλεν καὶ πάντα τὰ σημει̃α ἃ ἐνετείλατο αὐτω̨̃ (Ⅲ) - Narravitque Moyses Aaron omnia verba Domini quibus miserat eum, et signa quæ mandaverat. (Ⅳ) - 28 ׃4 ויגד משה לאהרן את כל דברי יהוה אשר שלחו ואת כל האתת אשר צוהו (Ⅴ)

And Moses and Aaron went and gathered together all the elders of the children of Israel:
- Moïse et Aaron poursuivirent leur chemin, et ils assemblèrent tous les anciens des enfants d'Israël. (Ⅱ) - ἐπορεύθη δὲ Μωυση̃ς καὶ Ααρων καὶ συνήγαγον τὴν γερουσίαν τω̃ν υἱω̃ν Ισραηλ (Ⅲ) - Veneruntque simul, et congregaverunt cunctos seniores filiorum Israël. (Ⅳ) - 29 ׃4 וילך משה ואהרן ויאספו את כל זקני בני ישראל (Ⅴ)

And Aaron spake all the words which the LORD had spoken unto Moses, and did the signs in the sight of the people.
- Aaron rapporta toutes les paroles que l'Éternel avait dites à Moïse, et il exécuta les signes aux yeux du peuple. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐλάλησεν Ααρων πάντα τὰ ῥήματα ταυ̃τα ἃ ἐλάλησεν ὁ θεὸς πρὸς Μωυση̃ν καὶ ἐποίησεν τὰ σημει̃α ἐναντίον του̃ λαου̃ (Ⅲ) - Locutusque est Aaron omnia verba quæ dixerat Dominus ad Moysen : et fecit signa coram populo, (Ⅳ) - 30 ׃4 וידבר אהרן את כל הדברים אשר דבר יהוה אל משה ויעש האתת לעיני העם (Ⅴ)

And the people believed: and when they heard that the LORD had visited the children of Israel, and that he had looked upon their affliction, then they bowed their heads and worshipped.
- Et le peuple crut. Ils apprirent que l'Éternel avait visité les enfants d'Israël, qu'il avait vu leur souffrance; et ils s'inclinèrent et se prosternèrent. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐπίστευσεν ὁ λαὸς καὶ ἐχάρη ὅτι ἐπεσκέψατο ὁ θεὸς τοὺς υἱοὺς Ισραηλ καὶ ὅτι εἰ̃δεν αὐτω̃ν τὴν θλι̃ψιν κύψας δὲ ὁ λαὸς προσεκύνησεν (Ⅲ) - et credidit populus. Audieruntque quod visitasset Dominus filios Israël, et respexisset afflictionem illorum : et proni adoraverunt. (Ⅳ) - 31 ׃4 ויאמן העם וישמעו כי פקד יהוה את בני ישראל וכי ראה את ענים ויקדו וישתחוו[1] (Ⅴ)
