In the year that Tartan came unto Ashdod, (when Sargon the king of Assyria sent him,) and fought against Ashdod, and took it;
- L'année où Tharthan, envoyé par Sargon, roi d'Assyrie, vint assiéger Asdod et s'en empara, (Ⅱ) - του̃ ἔτους οὑ̃ εἰση̃λθεν Ταναθαν εἰς 'Άζωτον ἡνίκα ἀπεστάλη ὑπὸ Αρνα βασιλέως 'Ασσυρίων καὶ ἐπολέμησεν τὴν 'Άζωτον καὶ κατελάβετο αὐτήν (Ⅲ) - In anno quo ingressus est Thathan in Azotum, cum misisset eum Sargon, rex Assyriorum, et pugnasset contra Azotum, et cepisset eam : (Ⅳ) - 1 ׃20 בשנת בא תרתן אשדודה בשלח אתו סרגון מלך אשור וילחם באשדוד וילכדה (Ⅴ)

At the same time spake the LORD by Isaiah the son of Amoz, saying, Go and loose the sackcloth from off thy loins, and put off thy shoe from thy foot. And he did so, walking naked and barefoot.
- en ce temps-là l'Éternel adressa la parole à Ésaïe, fils d'Amots, et lui dit: Va, détache le sac de tes reins et ôte tes souliers de tes pieds. Il fit ainsi, marcha nu et déchaussé. (Ⅱ) - τότε ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς Ησαιαν λέγων πορεύου καὶ ἄφελε τὸν σάκκον ἀπὸ τη̃ς ὀσφύος σου καὶ τὰ σανδάλιά σου ὑπόλυσαι ἀπὸ τω̃ν ποδω̃ν σου καὶ ἐποίησεν οὕτως πορευόμενος γυμνὸς καὶ ἀνυπόδετος (Ⅲ) - in tempore illo locutus est Dominus in manu Isaiæ, filii Amos, dicens : Vade, et solve saccum de lumbis tuis, et calceamenta tua tolle de pedibus tuis. Et fecit sic, vadens nudus et discalceatus. (Ⅳ) - 2 ׃20 בעת ההיא דבר יהוה ביד ישעיהו בן אמוץ לאמר לך ופתחת השק מעל מתניך ונעלך תחלץ מעל רגליך ויעש כן הלך ערום ויחף ס (Ⅴ)

And the LORD said, Like as my servant Isaiah hath walked naked and barefoot three years for a sign and wonder upon Egypt and upon Ethiopia;
- Et l'Éternel dit: De même que mon serviteur Ésaïe marche nu et déchaussé, ce qui sera dans trois ans un signe et un présage pour l'Égypte et pour l'Éthiopie, (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἰ̃πεν κύριος ὃν τρόπον πεπόρευται Ησαιας ὁ παι̃ς μου γυμνὸς καὶ ἀνυπόδετος τρία ἔτη ἔσται σημει̃α καὶ τέρατα τοι̃ς Αἰγυπτίοις καὶ Αἰθίοψιν (Ⅲ) - Et dixit Dominus : [Sicut ambulavit servus meus Isaias nudus et discalceatus,/ trium annorum signum et portentum erit/ super Ægyptum et super Æthiopiam ;/ (Ⅳ) - 3 ׃20 ויאמר יהוה כאשר הלך עבדי ישעיהו ערום ויחף שלש שנים אות ומופת על מצרים ועל כוש (Ⅴ)

So shall the king of Assyria lead away the Egyptians prisoners, and the Ethiopians captives, young and old, naked and barefoot, even with their buttocks uncovered, to the shame of Egypt.
- de même le roi d'Assyrie emmènera de l'Égypte et de l'Éthiopie captifs et exilés les jeunes hommes et les vieillards, nus et déchaussés, et le dos découvert, à la honte de l'Égypte. (Ⅱ) - ὅτι οὕτως ἄξει βασιλεὺς 'Ασσυρίων τὴν αἰχμαλωσίαν Αἰγύπτου καὶ Αἰθιόπων νεανίσκους καὶ πρεσβύτας γυμνοὺς καὶ ἀνυποδέτους ἀνακεκαλυμμένους τὴν αἰσχύνην Αἰγύπτου (Ⅲ) - sic minabit rex Assyriorum captivitatem Ægypti,/ et transmigrationem Æthiopiæ,/ juvenum et senum, nudam et discalceatam, discoopertis natibus, ad ignominiam Ægypti./ (Ⅳ) - 4 ׃20 כן ינהג מלך אשור את שבי מצרים ואת גלות כוש נערים וזקנים ערום ויחף וחשופי שת ערות מצרים (Ⅴ)

And they shall be afraid and ashamed of Ethiopia their expectation, and of Egypt their glory.
- Alors on sera dans l'effroi et dans la confusion, à cause de l'Éthiopie en qui l'on avait mis sa confiance, et de l'Égypte dont on se glorifiait. (Ⅱ) - καὶ αἰσχυνθήσονται ἡττηθέντες οἱ Αἰγύπτιοι ἐπὶ τοι̃ς Αἰθίοψιν ἐφ' οἱ̃ς ἠ̃σαν πεποιθότες οἱ Αἰγύπτιοι ἠ̃σαν γὰρ αὐτοι̃ς δόξα (Ⅲ) - Et timebunt, et confundentur/ ab Æthiopia spe sua,/ et ab Ægypto gloria sua./ (Ⅳ) - 5 ׃20 וחתו ובשו מכוש מבטם ומן מצרים תפארתם (Ⅴ)

And the inhabitant of this isle shall say in that day, Behold, such is our expectation, whither we flee for help to be delivered from the king of Assyria: and how shall we escape?
- Et les habitants de cette côte diront en ce jour: Voilà ce qu'est devenu l'objet de notre attente, sur lequel nous avions compté pour être secourus, pour être délivrés du roi d'Assyrie! Comment échapperons-nous? (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐρου̃σιν οἱ κατοικου̃ντες ἐν τη̨̃ νήσω̨ ταύτη̨ ἰδοὺ ἡμει̃ς ἠ̃μεν πεποιθότες του̃ φυγει̃ν εἰς αὐτοὺς εἰς βοήθειαν οἳ οὐκ ἐδύναντο σωθη̃ναι ἀπὸ βασιλέως 'Ασσυρίων καὶ πω̃ς ἡμει̃ς σωθησόμεθα (Ⅲ) - Et dicet habitator insulæ hujus in die illa :/ Ecce hæc erat spes nostra,/ ad quos confugimus in auxilium, ut liberarent nos/ a facie regis Assyriorum :/ et quomodo effugere poterimus nos ?] (Ⅳ) - 6 ׃20 ואמר ישב האי הזה ביום ההוא הנה כה מבטנו אשר נסנו שם לעזרה להנצל מפני מלך אשור ואיך נמלט אנחנו ס (Ⅴ)
