Thus saith the LORD to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have holden, to subdue nations before him; and I will loose the loins of kings, to open before him the two leaved gates; and the gates shall not be shut;
- Ainsi parle l'Éternel à son oint, à Cyrus, (Ⅱ) - οὕτως λέγει κύριος ὁ θεὸς τω̨̃ χριστω̨̃ μου Κύρω̨ οὑ̃ ἐκράτησα τη̃ς δεξια̃ς ἐπακου̃σαι ἔμπροσθεν αὐτου̃ ἔθνη καὶ ἰσχὺν βασιλέων διαρρήξω ἀνοίξω ἔμπροσθεν αὐτου̃ θύρας καὶ πόλεις οὐ συγκλεισθήσονται (Ⅲ) - Hæc dicit Dominus christo meo Cyro,/ cujus apprehendi dexteram,/ ut subjiciam ante faciem ejus gentes,/ et dorsa regum vertam,/ et aperiam coram eo januas,/ et portæ non claudentur :/ (Ⅳ) - 1 ׃45 כה אמר יהוה למשיחו לכורש אשר החזקתי בימינו לרד לפניו גוים ומתני מלכים אפתח לפתח לפניו דלתים ושערים לא יסגרו (Ⅴ)

I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron:
- Qu'il tient par la main, Pour terrasser les nations devant lui, Et pour relâcher la ceinture des rois, Pour lui ouvrir les portes, Afin qu'elles ne soient plus fermées; Je marcherai devant toi, J'aplanirai les chemins montueux, Je romprai les portes d'airain, Et je briserai les verrous de fer. (Ⅱ) - ἐγὼ ἔμπροσθέν σου πορεύσομαι καὶ ὄρη ὁμαλιω̃ θύρας χαλκα̃ς συντρίψω καὶ μοχλοὺς σιδηρου̃ς συγκλάσω (Ⅲ) - Ego ante te ibo, et gloriosos terræ humiliabo ;/ portas æreas conteram,/ et vectes ferreos confringam :/ (Ⅳ) - 2 ׃45 אני לפניך אלך והדורים *אושר **אישר דלתות נחושה אשבר ובריחי ברזל אגדע (Ⅴ)

And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I, the LORD, which call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel.
- Je te donnerai des trésors cachés, Des richesses enfouies, Afin que tu saches Que je suis l'Éternel qui t'appelle par ton nom, Le Dieu d'Israël. (Ⅱ) - καὶ δώσω σοι θησαυροὺς σκοτεινούς ἀποκρύφους ἀοράτους ἀνοίξω σοι ἵνα γνω̨̃ς ὅτι ἐγὼ κύριος ὁ θεὸς ὁ καλω̃ν τὸ ὄνομά σου θεὸς Ισραηλ (Ⅲ) - et dabo tibi thesauros absconditos,/ et arcana secretorum,/ ut scias quia ego Dominus,/ qui voco nomen tuum, Deus Israël,/ (Ⅳ) - 3 ׃45 ונתתי לך אוצרות חשך ומטמני מסתרים למען תדע כי אני יהוה הקורא בשמך אלהי ישראל (Ⅴ)

For Jacob my servant's sake, and Israel mine elect, I have even called thee by thy name: I have surnamed thee, though thou hast not known me.
- Pour l'amour de mon serviteur Jacob, Et d'Israël, mon élu, Je t'ai appelé par ton nom, Je t'ai parlé avec bienveillance, avant que tu me connusses. (Ⅱ) - ἕνεκεν Ιακωβ του̃ παιδός μου καὶ Ισραηλ του̃ ἐκλεκτου̃ μου ἐγὼ καλέσω σε τω̨̃ ὀνόματί σου καὶ προσδέξομαί σε σὺ δὲ οὐκ ἔγνως με (Ⅲ) - propter servum meum Jacob,/ et Israël, electum meum ;/ et vocavi te nomine tuo :/ assimilavi te, et non cognovisti me./ (Ⅳ) - 4 ׃45 למען עבדי יעקב וישראל בחירי ואקרא לך בשמך אכנך ולא ידעתני (Ⅴ)

I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me:
- Je suis l'Éternel, et il n'y en a point d'autre, Hors moi il n'y a point de Dieu; Je t'ai ceint, avant que tu me connusses. (Ⅱ) - ὅτι ἐγὼ κύριος ὁ θεός καὶ οὐκ ἔστιν ἔτι πλὴν ἐμου̃ θεός καὶ οὐκ ἤ̨δεις με (Ⅲ) - Ego Dominus, et non est amplius ;/ extra me non est deus ;/ accinxi te, et non cognovisti me :/ (Ⅳ) - 5 ׃45 אני יהוה ואין עוד זולתי אין אלהים אאזרך ולא ידעתני (Ⅴ)

That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the LORD, and there is none else.
- C'est afin que l'on sache, du soleil levant au soleil couchant, Que hors moi il n'y a point de Dieu: Je suis l'Éternel, et il n'y en a point d'autre. I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
- Je forme la lumière, et je crée les ténèbres, Je donne la prospérité, et je crée l'adversité; Moi, l'Éternel, je fais toutes ces choses. (Ⅱ) - ἐγὼ ὁ κατασκευάσας φω̃ς καὶ ποιήσας σκότος ὁ ποιω̃ν εἰρήνην καὶ κτίζων κακά ἐγὼ κύριος ὁ θεὸς ὁ ποιω̃ν ταυ̃τα πάντα (Ⅲ) - formans lucem et creans tenebras,/ faciens pacem et creans malum :/ ego Dominus faciens omnia hæc./ (Ⅳ) - 7 ׃45 יוצר אור ובורא חשך עשה שלום ובורא רע אני יהוה עשה כל אלה ס (Ⅴ)

Drop down, ye heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness: let the earth open, and let them bring forth salvation, and let righteousness spring up together; I the LORD have created it.
- Que les cieux répandent d'en haut Et que les nuées laissent couler la justice! Que la terre s'ouvre, que le salut y fructifie, Et qu'il en sorte à la fois la délivrance! Moi, l'Éternel, je crée ces choses. Woe unto him that striveth with his Maker! Let the potsherd strive with the potsherds of the earth. Shall the clay say to him that fashioneth it, What makest thou? or thy work, He hath no hands?
- Malheur à qui conteste avec son créateur! -Vase parmi des vases de terre! -L'argile dit-elle à celui qui la façonne: Que fais-tu? Et ton oeuvre: Il n'as point de mains? Woe unto him that saith unto his father, What begettest thou? or to the woman, What hast thou brought forth?

Thus saith the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker, Ask me of things to come concerning my sons, and concerning the work of my hands command ye me.
- Ainsi parle l'Éternel, le Saint d'Israël, et son créateur: Veut-on me questionner sur l'avenir, Me donner des ordres sur mes enfants et sur l'oeuvre de mes mains? (Ⅱ) - ὅτι οὕτως λέγει κύριος ὁ θεὸς ὁ ἅγιος Ισραηλ ὁ ποιήσας τὰ ἐπερχόμενα ἐρωτήσατέ με περὶ τω̃ν υἱω̃ν μου καὶ περὶ τω̃ν θυγατέρων μου καὶ περὶ τω̃ν ἔργων τω̃ν χειρω̃ν μου ἐντείλασθέ μοι (Ⅲ) - Hæc dicit Dominus,/ Sanctus Israël, plastes ejus :/ Ventura interrogate me ;/ super filios meos et super opus manuum mearum mandate mihi./ (Ⅳ) - 11 ׃45 כה אמר יהוה קדוש ישראל ויצרו האתיות שאלוני על בני ועל פעל ידי תצוני (Ⅴ)

I have made the earth, and created man upon it: I, even my hands, have stretched out the heavens, and all their host have I commanded.
- C'est moi qui ai fait la terre, Et qui sur elle ai créé l'homme; C'est moi, ce sont mes mains qui ont déployé les cieux, Et c'est moi qui ai disposé toute leur armée. (Ⅱ) - ἐγὼ ἐποίησα γη̃ν καὶ ἄνθρωπον ἐπ' αὐτη̃ς ἐγὼ τη̨̃ χειρί μου ἐστερέωσα τὸν οὐρανόν ἐγὼ πα̃σι τοι̃ς ἄστροις ἐνετειλάμην (Ⅲ) - Ego feci terram,/ et hominem super eam creavi ego :/ manus meæ tetenderunt cælos,/ et omni militiæ eorum mandavi./ (Ⅳ) - 12 ׃45 אנכי עשיתי ארץ ואדם עליה בראתי אני ידי נטו שמים וכל צבאם צויתי (Ⅴ)

I have raised him up in righteousness, and I will direct all his ways: he shall build my city, and he shall let go my captives, not for price nor reward, saith the LORD of hosts.
- C'est moi qui ai suscité Cyrus dans ma justice, Et j'aplanirai toutes ses voies; Il rebâtira ma ville, et libérera mes captifs, Sans rançon ni présents, Dit l'Éternel des armées. (Ⅱ) - ἐγὼ ἤγειρα αὐτὸν μετὰ δικαιοσύνης βασιλέα καὶ πα̃σαι αἱ ὁδοὶ αὐτου̃ εὐθει̃αι οὑ̃τος οἰκοδομήσει τὴν πόλιν μου καὶ τὴν αἰχμαλωσίαν του̃ λαου̃ μου ἐπιστρέψει οὐ μετὰ λύτρων οὐδὲ μετὰ δώρων εἰ̃πεν κύριος σαβαωθ (Ⅲ) - Ego suscitavi eum ad justitiam,/ et omnes vias ejus dirigam ;/ ipse ædificabit civitatem meam,/ et captivitatem meam dimittet,/ non in pretio neque in muneribus,/ dicit Dominus Deus exercituum.]\ (Ⅳ) - 13 ׃45 אנכי העירתהו בצדק וכל דרכיו אישר הוא יבנה עירי וגלותי ישלח לא במחיר ולא בשחד אמר יהוה צבאות פ (Ⅴ)

Thus saith the LORD, The labour of Egypt, and merchandise of Ethiopia and of the Sabeans, men of stature, shall come over unto thee, and they shall be thine: they shall come after thee; in chains they shall come over, and they shall fall down unto thee, they shall make supplication unto thee, saying, Surely God is in thee; and there is none else, there is no God.
- Ainsi parle l'Éternel: Les gains de l'Égypte et les profits de l'Éthiopie, Et ceux des Sabéens à la taille élevée, Passeront chez toi et seront à toi; Ces peuples marcheront à ta suite, Ils passeront enchaînés, Ils se prosterneront devant toi, et te diront en suppliant: C'est auprès de toi seulement que se trouve Dieu, Et il n'y a point d'autre Dieu que lui. (Ⅱ) - οὕτως λέγει κύριος σαβαωθ ἐκοπίασεν Αἴγυπτος καὶ ἐμπορία Αἰθιόπων καὶ οἱ Σεβωιν ἄνδρες ὑψηλοὶ ἐπὶ σὲ διαβήσονται καὶ σοὶ ἔσονται δου̃λοι καὶ ὀπίσω σου ἀκολουθήσουσιν δεδεμένοι χειροπέδαις καὶ προσκυνήσουσίν σοι καὶ ἐν σοὶ προσεύξονται ὅτι ἐν σοὶ ὁ θεός ἐστιν καὶ ἐρου̃σιν οὐκ ἔστιν θεὸς πλὴν σου̃ (Ⅲ) - Hæc dicit Dominus :/ Labor Ægypti, et negotiatio Æthiopiæ,/ et Sabaim viri sublimes/ ad te transibunt, et tui erunt ;/ post te ambulabunt,/ vincti manicis pergent, et te adorabunt,/ teque deprecabuntur./ Tantum in te est Deus,/ et non est absque te deus./ (Ⅳ) - 14 ׃45 כה אמר יהוה יגיע מצרים וסחר כוש וסבאים אנשי מדה עליך יעברו ולך יהיו אחריך ילכו בזקים יעברו ואליך ישתחוו[1] אליך יתפללו אך בך אל ואין עוד אפס אלהים (Ⅴ)

Verily thou art a God that hidest thyself, O God of Israel, the Saviour.

They shall be ashamed, and also confounded, all of them: they shall go to confusion together that are makers of idols.
- Ils sont tous honteux et confus, Ils s'en vont tous avec ignominie, Les fabricateurs d'idoles. (Ⅱ) - αἰσχυνθήσονται καὶ ἐντραπήσονται πάντες οἱ ἀντικείμενοι αὐτω̨̃ καὶ πορεύσονται ἐν αἰσχύνη̨ ἐγκαινίζεσθε πρός με νη̃σοι (Ⅲ) - Confusi sunt, et erubuerunt omnes :/ simul abierunt in confusionem fabricatores errorum./ (Ⅳ) - 16 ׃45 בושו וגם נכלמו כלם יחדו הלכו בכלמה חרשי צירים (Ⅴ)

But Israel shall be saved in the LORD with an everlasting salvation: ye shall not be ashamed nor confounded world without end.
- C'est par l'Éternel qu'Israël obtient le salut, Un salut éternel; Vous ne serez ni honteux ni confus, Jusque dans l'éternité. (Ⅱ) - Ισραηλ σώ̨ζεται ὑπὸ κυρίου σωτηρίαν αἰώνιον οὐκ αἰσχυνθήσονται οὐδὲ μὴ ἐντραπω̃σιν ἕως του̃ αἰω̃νος (Ⅲ) - Israël salvatus est in Domino salute æterna ;/ non confundemini, et non erubescetis usque in sæculum sæculi./ (Ⅳ) - 17 ׃45 ישראל נושע ביהוה תשועת עולמים לא תבשו ולא תכלמו עד עולמי עד פ (Ⅴ)

For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else.
- Car ainsi parle l'Éternel, Le créateur des cieux, le seul Dieu, Qui a formé la terre, qui l'a faite et qui l'a affermie, Qui l'a créée pour qu'elle ne fût pas déserte, Qui l'a formée pour qu'elle fût habitée: Je suis l'Éternel, et il n'y en a point d'autre. (Ⅱ) - οὕτως λέγει κύριος ὁ ποιήσας τὸν οὐρανόν οὑ̃τος ὁ θεὸς ὁ καταδείξας τὴν γη̃ν καὶ ποιήσας αὐτήν αὐτὸς διώρισεν αὐτήν οὐκ εἰς κενὸν ἐποίησεν αὐτὴν ἀλλὰ κατοικει̃σθαι ἐγώ εἰμι καὶ οὐκ ἔστιν ἔτι (Ⅲ) - Quia hæc dicit Dominus/ creans cælos,/ ipse Deus formans terram/ et faciens eam, ipse plastes ejus ;/ non in vanum creavit eam :/ ut habitaretur formavit eam :/ Ego Dominus, et non est alius./ (Ⅳ) - 18 ׃45 כי כה אמר יהוה בורא השמים הוא האלהים יצר הארץ ועשה הוא כוננה לא תהו בראה לשבת יצרה אני יהוה ואין עוד (Ⅴ)

I have not spoken in secret, in a dark place of the earth: I said not unto the seed of Jacob, Seek ye me in vain: I the LORD speak righteousness, I declare things that are right.
- Je n'ai point parlé en cachette, Dans un lieu ténébreux de la terre; Je n'ai point dit à la postérité de Jacob: Cherchez-moi vainement! Moi, l'Éternel, je dis ce qui est vrai, Je proclame ce qui est droit. (Ⅱ) - οὐκ ἐν κρυφη̨̃ λελάληκα οὐδὲ ἐν τόπω̨ γη̃ς σκοτεινω̨̃ οὐκ εἰ̃πα τω̨̃ σπέρματι Ιακωβ μάταιον ζητήσατε ἐγώ εἰμι ἐγώ εἰμι κύριος λαλω̃ν δικαιοσύνην καὶ ἀναγγέλλων ἀλήθειαν (Ⅲ) - Non in abscondito locutus sum,/ in loco terræ tenebroso ;/ non dixi semini Jacob frustra :/ Quærite me :/ ego Dominus loquens justitiam,/ annuntians recta./ (Ⅳ) - 19 ׃45 לא בסתר דברתי במקום ארץ חשך לא אמרתי לזרע יעקב תהו בקשוני אני יהוה דבר צדק מגיד מישרים (Ⅴ)

Assemble yourselves and come; draw near together, ye that are escaped of the nations: they have no knowledge that set up the wood of their graven image, and pray unto a god that cannot save.
- Assemblez-vous et venez, approchez ensemble, Réchappés des nations! Ils n'ont point d'intelligence, ceux qui portent leur idole de bois, Et qui invoquent un dieu incapable de sauver. (Ⅱ) - συνάχθητε καὶ ἥκετε βουλεύσασθε ἅμα οἱ σω̨ζόμενοι ἀπὸ τω̃ν ἐθνω̃ν οὐκ ἔγνωσαν οἱ αἴροντες τὸ ξύλον γλύμμα αὐτω̃ν καὶ προσευχόμενοι ὡς πρὸς θεούς οἳ οὐ σώ̨ζουσιν (Ⅲ) - Congregamini, et venite, et accedite simul/ qui salvati estis ex gentibus :/ nescierunt qui levant lignum sculpturæ suæ,/ et rogant deum non salvantem./ (Ⅳ) - 20 ׃45 הקבצו ובאו התנגשו יחדו פליטי הגוים לא ידעו הנשאים את עץ פסלם ומתפללים אל אל לא יושיע (Ⅴ)

Tell ye, and bring them near; yea, let them take counsel together: who hath declared this from ancient time? who hath told it from that time? have not I the LORD? and there is no God else beside me; a just God and a Saviour; there is none beside me.
- Déclarez-le, et faites-les venir! Qu'ils prennent conseil les uns des autres! Qui a prédit ces choses dès le commencement, Et depuis longtemps les a annoncées? N'est-ce pas moi, l'Éternel? Il n'y a point d'autre Dieu que moi, Je suis le seul Dieu juste et qui sauve. (Ⅱ) - εἰ ἀναγγελου̃σιν ἐγγισάτωσαν ἵνα γνω̃σιν ἅμα τίς ἀκουστὰ ἐποίησεν ταυ̃τα ἀπ' ἀρχη̃ς τότε ἀνηγγέλη ὑμι̃ν ἐγὼ ὁ θεός καὶ οὐκ ἔστιν ἄλλος πλὴν ἐμου̃ δίκαιος καὶ σωτὴρ οὐκ ἔστιν πάρεξ ἐμου̃ (Ⅲ) - Annuntiate, et venite,/ et consiliamini simul./ Quis auditum fecit hoc ab initio,/ ex tunc prædixit illud ?/ numquid non ego Dominus,/ et non est ultra deus absque me ?/ Deus justus, et salvans non est præter me./ (Ⅳ) - 21 ׃45 הגידו והגישו אף יועצו יחדו מי השמיע זאת מקדם מאז הגידה הלוא אני יהוה ואין עוד אלהים מבלעדי אל צדיק ומושיע אין זולתי (Ⅴ)

Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.
- Tournez-vous vers moi, et vous serez sauvés, Vous tous qui êtes aux extrémités de la terre! Car je suis Dieu, et il n'y en a point d'autre. (Ⅱ) - ἐπιστράφητε πρός με καὶ σωθήσεσθε οἱ ἀπ' ἐσχάτου τη̃ς γη̃ς ἐγώ εἰμι ὁ θεός καὶ οὐκ ἔστιν ἄλλος (Ⅲ) - Convertimini ad me, et salvi eritis,/ omnes fines terræ,/ quia ego Deus, et non est alius./ (Ⅳ) - 22 ׃45 פנו אלי והושעו כל אפסי ארץ כי אני אל ואין עוד (Ⅴ)

I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.
- Je le jure par moi-même, La vérité sort de ma bouche et ma parole ne sera point révoquée: Tout genou fléchira devant moi, Toute langue jurera par moi. (Ⅱ) - κατ' ἐμαυτου̃ ὀμνύω ἠ̃ μὴν ἐξελεύσεται ἐκ του̃ στόματός μου δικαιοσύνη οἱ λόγοι μου οὐκ ἀποστραφήσονται ὅτι ἐμοὶ κάμψει πα̃ν γόνυ καὶ ἐξομολογήσεται πα̃σα γλω̃σσα τω̨̃ θεω̨̃ (Ⅲ) - In memetipso juravi ;/ egredietur de ore meo justitiæ verbum,/ et non revertetur :/ quia mihi curvabitur omne genu,/ et jurabit omnis lingua./ (Ⅳ) - 23 ׃45 בי נשבעתי יצא מפי צדקה דבר ולא ישוב כי לי תכרע כל ברך תשבע כל לשון (Ⅴ)

Surely, shall one say, in the LORD have I righteousness and strength: even to him shall men come; and all that are incensed against him shall be ashamed.
- En l'Éternel seul, me dira-t-on, résident la justice et la force; A lui viendront, pour être confondus, Tous ceux qui étaient irrités contre lui. (Ⅱ) - λέγων δικαιοσύνη καὶ δόξα πρὸς αὐτὸν ἥξουσιν καὶ αἰσχυνθήσονται πάντες οἱ ἀφορίζοντες ἑαυτούς (Ⅲ) - Ergo in Domino, dicet,/ meæ sunt justitiæ et imperium ;/ ad eum venient, et confundentur/ omnes qui repugnant ei./ (Ⅳ) - 24 ׃45 אך ביהוה לי אמר צדקות ועז עדיו יבוא ויבשו כל הנחרים בו (Ⅴ)

In the LORD shall all the seed of Israel be justified, and shall glory.
- Par l'Éternel seront justifiés et glorifiés Tous les descendants d'Israël. (Ⅱ) - ἀπὸ κυρίου δικαιωθήσονται καὶ ἐν τω̨̃ θεω̨̃ ἐνδοξασθήσονται πα̃ν τὸ σπέρμα τω̃ν υἱω̃ν Ισραηλ (Ⅲ) - In Domino justificabitur, et laudabitur/ omne semen Israël.] (Ⅳ) - 25 ׃45 ביהוה יצדקו ויתהללו כל זרע ישראל (Ⅴ)
