Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; The LORD hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name.
- Iles, écoutez-moi! Peuples lointains, soyez attentifs! L'Éternel m'a appelé dès ma naissance, Il m'a nommé dès ma sortie des entrailles maternelles. (Ⅱ) - ἀκούσατέ μου νη̃σοι καὶ προσέχετε ἔθνη διὰ χρόνου πολλου̃ στήσεται λέγει κύριος ἐκ κοιλίας μητρός μου ἐκάλεσεν τὸ ὄνομά μου (Ⅲ) - Audite, insulæ,/ et attendite, populi de longe :/ Dominus ab utero vocavit me ;/ de ventre matris meæ recordatus est nominis mei./ (Ⅳ) - 1 ׃49 שמעו איים אלי והקשיבו לאמים מרחוק יהוה מבטן קראני ממעי אמי הזכיר שמי (Ⅴ)

And he hath made my mouth like a sharp sword; in the shadow of his hand hath he hid me, and made me a polished shaft; in his quiver hath he hid me;
- Il a rendu ma bouche semblable à un glaive tranchant, Il m'a couvert de l'ombre de sa main; Il a fait de moi une flèche aiguë, Il m'a caché dans son carquois. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἔθηκεν τὸ στόμα μου ὡσεὶ μάχαιραν ὀξει̃αν καὶ ὑπὸ τὴν σκέπην τη̃ς χειρὸς αὐτου̃ ἔκρυψέν με ἔθηκέν με ὡς βέλος ἐκλεκτὸν καὶ ἐν τη̨̃ φαρέτρα̨ αὐτου̃ ἐσκέπασέν με (Ⅲ) - Et posuit os meum quasi gladium acutum,/ in umbra manus suæ protexit me,/ et posuit me sicut sagittam electam :/ in pharetra sua abscondit me./ (Ⅳ) - 2 ׃49 וישם פי כחרב חדה בצל ידו החביאני וישימני לחץ ברור באשפתו הסתירני (Ⅴ)

And said unto me, Thou art my servant, O Israel, in whom I will be glorified.
- Et il m'a dit: Tu es mon serviteur, Israël en qui je me glorifierai. (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἰ̃πέν μοι δου̃λός μου εἰ̃ σύ Ισραηλ καὶ ἐν σοὶ δοξασθήσομαι (Ⅲ) - Et dixit mihi : Servus meus es tu Israël,/ quia in te gloriabor./ (Ⅳ) - 3 ׃49 ויאמר לי עבדי אתה ישראל אשר בך אתפאר (Ⅴ)

Then I said, I have laboured in vain, I have spent my strength for nought, and in vain: yet surely my judgment is with the LORD, and my work with my God.
- Et moi j'ai dit: C'est en vain que j'ai travaillé, C'est pour le vide et le néant que j'ai consumé ma force; Mais mon droit est auprès de l'Éternel, Et ma récompense auprès de mon Dieu. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐγὼ εἰ̃πα κενω̃ς ἐκοπίασα καὶ εἰς μάταιον καὶ εἰς οὐδὲν ἔδωκα τὴν ἰσχύν μου διὰ του̃το ἡ κρίσις μου παρὰ κυρίω̨ καὶ ὁ πόνος μου ἐναντίον του̃ θεου̃ μου (Ⅲ) - Et ego dixi : In vacuum laboravi ;/ sine causa et vane fortitudinem meam consumpsi :/ ergo judicium meum cum Domino,/ et opus meum cum Deo meo./ (Ⅳ) - 4 ׃49 ואני אמרתי לריק יגעתי לתהו והבל כחי כליתי אכן משפטי את יהוה ופעלתי את אלהי (Ⅴ)

And now, saith the LORD that formed me from the womb to be his servant, to bring Jacob again to him, Though Israel be not gathered, yet shall I be glorious in the eyes of the LORD, and my God shall be my strength.
- Maintenant, l'Éternel parle, Lui qui m'a formé dès ma naissance Pour être son serviteur, Pour ramener à lui Jacob, Et Israël encore dispersé; Car je suis honoré aux yeux de l'Éternel, Et mon Dieu est ma force. (Ⅱ) - καὶ νυ̃ν οὕτως λέγει κύριος ὁ πλάσας με ἐκ κοιλίας δου̃λον ἑαυτω̨̃ του̃ συναγαγει̃ν τὸν Ιακωβ καὶ Ισραηλ πρὸς αὐτόν συναχθήσομαι καὶ δοξασθήσομαι ἐναντίον κυρίου καὶ ὁ θεός μου ἔσται μου ἰσχύς (Ⅲ) - Et nunc dicit Dominus,/ formans me ex utero servum sibi,/ ut reducam Jacob ad eum,/ et Israël non congregabitur ;/ et glorificatus sum in oculis Domini,/ et Deus meus factus est fortitudo mea./ (Ⅳ) - 5 ׃49 ועתה אמר יהוה יצרי מבטן לעבד לו לשובב יעקב אליו וישראל *לא **לו יאסף ואכבד בעיני יהוה ואלהי היה עזי (Ⅴ)

And he said, It is a light thing that thou shouldest be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel: I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles, that thou mayest be my salvation unto the end of the earth.
- Il dit: C'est peu que tu sois mon serviteur Pour relever les tribus de Jacob Et pour ramener les restes d'Israël: Je t'établis pour être la lumière des nations, Pour porter mon salut jusqu'aux extrémités de la terre. (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἰ̃πέν μοι μέγα σοί ἐστιν του̃ κληθη̃ναί σε παι̃δά μου του̃ στη̃σαι τὰς φυλὰς Ιακωβ καὶ τὴν διασπορὰν του̃ Ισραηλ ἐπιστρέψαι ἰδοὺ τέθεικά σε εἰς διαθήκην γένους εἰς φω̃ς ἐθνω̃ν του̃ εἰ̃ναί σε εἰς σωτηρίαν ἕως ἐσχάτου τη̃ς γη̃ς (Ⅲ) - Et dixit : Parum est ut sis mihi servus/ ad suscitandas tribus Jacob,/ et fæces Israël convertendas :/ ecce dedi te in lucem gentium,/ ut sis salus mea/ usque ad extremum terræ./ (Ⅳ) - 6 ׃49 ויאמר נקל מהיותך לי עבד להקים את שבטי יעקב *ונצירי **ונצורי ישראל להשיב ונתתיך לאור גוים להיות ישועתי עד קצה הארץ ס (Ⅴ)

Thus saith the LORD, the Redeemer of Israel, and his Holy One, to him whom man despiseth, to him whom the nation abhorreth, to a servant of rulers, Kings shall see and arise, princes also shall worship, because of the LORD that is faithful, and the Holy One of Israel, and he shall choose thee.
- Ainsi parle l'Éternel, le rédempteur, le Saint d'Israël, A celui qu'on méprise, qui est en horreur au peuple, A l'esclave des puissants: Des rois le verront, et ils se lèveront, Des princes, et ils se prosterneront, A cause de l'Éternel, qui est fidèle, Du Saint d'Israël, qui t'a choisi. (Ⅱ) - οὕτως λέγει κύριος ὁ ῥυσάμενός σε ὁ θεὸς Ισραηλ ἁγιάσατε τὸν φαυλίζοντα τὴν ψυχὴν αὐτου̃ τὸν βδελυσσόμενον ὑπὸ τω̃ν ἐθνω̃ν τω̃ν δούλων τω̃ν ἀρχόντων βασιλει̃ς ὄψονται αὐτὸν καὶ ἀναστήσονται ἄρχοντες καὶ προσκυνήσουσιν αὐτω̨̃ ἕνεκεν κυρίου ὅτι πιστός ἐστιν ὁ ἅγιος Ισραηλ καὶ ἐξελεξάμην σε (Ⅲ) - Hæc dicit Dominus,/ redemptor Israël, Sanctus ejus,/ ad contemptibilem animam, ad abominatam gentem,/ ad servum dominorum :/ Reges videbunt,/ et consurgent principes, et adorabunt/ propter Dominum, quia fidelis est,/ et Sanctum Israël qui elegit te.]\ (Ⅳ) - 7 ׃49 כה אמר יהוה גאל ישראל קדושו לבזה נפש למתעב גוי לעבד משלים מלכים יראו וקמו שרים וישתחוו[1] למען יהוה אשר נאמן קדש ישראל ויבחרך (Ⅴ)

Thus saith the LORD, In an acceptable time have I heard thee, and in a day of salvation have I helped thee: and I will preserve thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, to establish the earth, to cause to inherit the desolate heritages;
- Ainsi parle l'Éternel: Au temps de la grâce je t'exaucerai, Et au jour du salut je te secourrai; Je te garderai, et je t'établirai pour traiter alliance avec le peuple, Pour relever le pays, Et pour distribuer les héritages désolés; (Ⅱ) - οὕτως λέγει κύριος καιρω̨̃ δεκτω̨̃ ἐπήκουσά σου καὶ ἐν ἡμέρα̨ σωτηρίας ἐβοήθησά σοι καὶ ἔδωκά σε εἰς διαθήκην ἐθνω̃ν του̃ καταστη̃σαι τὴν γη̃ν καὶ κληρονομη̃σαι κληρονομίαν ἐρήμου (Ⅲ) - Hæc dicit Dominus :/ In tempore placito exaudivi te,/ et in die salutis auxiliatus sum tui :/ et servavi te, et dedi te in fœdus populi,/ ut suscitares terram,/ et possideres hæreditates dissipatas ;/ (Ⅳ) - 8 ׃49 כה אמר יהוה בעת רצון עניתיך וביום ישועה עזרתיך ואצרך ואתנך לברית עם להקים ארץ להנחיל נחלות שממות (Ⅴ)

That thou mayest say to the prisoners, Go forth; to them that are in darkness, Shew yourselves. They shall feed in the ways, and their pastures shall be in all high places.
- Pour dire aux captifs: Sortez! Et à ceux qui sont dans les ténèbres: Paraissez! Ils paîtront sur les chemins, Et ils trouveront des pâturages sur tous les coteaux. (Ⅱ) - λέγοντα τοι̃ς ἐν δεσμοι̃ς ἐξέλθατε καὶ τοι̃ς ἐν τω̨̃ σκότει ἀνακαλυφθη̃ναι καὶ ἐν πάσαις ται̃ς ὁδοι̃ς αὐτω̃ν βοσκηθήσονται καὶ ἐν πάσαις ται̃ς τρίβοις ἡ νομὴ αὐτω̃ν (Ⅲ) - ut diceres his qui vincti sunt : Exite,/ et his qui in tenebris : Revelamini./ Super vias pascentur,/ et in omnibus planis pascua eorum./ (Ⅳ) - 9 ׃49 לאמר לאסורים צאו לאשר בחשך הגלו על דרכים ירעו ובכל שפיים מרעיתם (Ⅴ)

They shall not hunger nor thirst; neither shall the heat nor sun smite them: for he that hath mercy on them shall lead them, even by the springs of water shall he guide them.
- Ils n'auront pas faim et ils n'auront pas soif; Le mirage et le soleil ne les feront point souffrir; Car celui qui a pitié d'eux sera leur guide, Et il les conduira vers des sources d'eaux. (Ⅱ) - οὐ πεινάσουσιν οὐδὲ διψήσουσιν οὐδὲ πατάξει αὐτοὺς καύσων οὐδὲ ὁ ἥλιος ἀλλὰ ὁ ἐλεω̃ν αὐτοὺς παρακαλέσει καὶ διὰ πηγω̃ν ὑδάτων ἄξει αὐτούς (Ⅲ) - Non esurient neque sitient,/ et non percutiet eos æstus et sol,/ quia miserator eorum reget eos,/ et ad fontes aquarum potabit eos./ (Ⅳ) - 10 ׃49 לא ירעבו ולא יצמאו ולא יכם שרב ושמש כי מרחמם ינהגם ועל מבועי מים ינהלם (Ⅴ)

And I will make all my mountains a way, and my highways shall be exalted.
- Je changerai toutes mes montagnes en chemins, Et mes routes seront frayées. (Ⅱ) - καὶ θήσω πα̃ν ὄρος εἰς ὁδὸν καὶ πα̃σαν τρίβον εἰς βόσκημα αὐτοι̃ς (Ⅲ) - Et ponam omnes montes meos in viam,/ et semitæ meæ exaltabuntur./ (Ⅳ) - 11 ׃49 ושמתי כל הרי לדרך ומסלתי ירמון (Ⅴ)

Behold, these shall come from far: and, lo, these from the north and from the west; and these from the land of Sinim.
- Les voici, ils viennent de loin, Les uns du septentrion et de l'occident, Les autres du pays de Sinim. (Ⅱ) - ἰδοὺ οὑ̃τοι πόρρωθεν ἔρχονται οὑ̃τοι ἀπὸ βορρα̃ καὶ οὑ̃τοι ἀπὸ θαλάσσης ἄλλοι δὲ ἐκ γη̃ς Περσω̃ν (Ⅲ) - Ecce isti de longe venient,/ et ecce illi ab aquilone et mari,/ et isti de terra australi./ (Ⅳ) - 12 ׃49 הנה אלה מרחוק יבאו והנה אלה מצפון ומים ואלה מארץ סינים (Ⅴ)

Sing, O heavens; and be joyful, O earth; and break forth into singing, O mountains: for the LORD hath comforted his people, and will have mercy upon his afflicted.
- Cieux, réjouissez-vous! Terre, sois dans l'allégresse! Montagnes, éclatez en cris de joie! Car l'Éternel console son peuple, Il a pitié de ses malheureux. (Ⅱ) - εὐφραίνεσθε οὐρανοί καὶ ἀγαλλιάσθω ἡ γη̃ ῥηξάτωσαν τὰ ὄρη εὐφροσύνην καὶ οἱ βουνοὶ δικαιοσύνην ὅτι ἠλέησεν ὁ θεὸς τὸν λαὸν αὐτου̃ καὶ τοὺς ταπεινοὺς του̃ λαου̃ αὐτου̃ παρεκάλεσεν (Ⅲ) - Laudate, cæli, et exsulta, terra ;/ jubilate, montes, laudem,/ quia consolatus est Dominus populum suum,/ et pauperum suorum miserebitur.]\ (Ⅳ) - 13 ׃49 רנו שמים וגילי ארץ *יפצחו **ופצחו הרים רנה כי נחם יהוה עמו ועניו ירחם ס (Ⅴ)

But Zion said, The LORD hath forsaken me, and my Lord hath forgotten me.
- Sion disait: L'Éternel m'abandonne, Le Seigneur m'oublie! - (Ⅱ) - εἰ̃πεν δὲ Σιων ἐγκατέλιπέν με κύριος καὶ ὁ κύριος ἐπελάθετό μου (Ⅲ) - Et dixit Sion : Dereliquit me Dominus,/ et Dominus oblitus est mei./ (Ⅳ) - 14 ׃49 ותאמר ציון עזבני יהוה ואדני שכחני (Ⅴ)

Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee.
- Une femme oublie-t-elle l'enfant qu'elle allaite? N'a-t-elle pas pitié du fruit de ses entrailles? Quand elle l'oublierait, Moi je ne t'oublierai point. (Ⅱ) - μὴ ἐπιλήσεται γυνὴ του̃ παιδίου αὐτη̃ς του̃ μὴ ἐλεη̃σαι τὰ ἔκγονα τη̃ς κοιλίας αὐτη̃ς εἰ δὲ καὶ ἐπιλάθοιτο ταυ̃τα γυνή ἀλλ' ἐγὼ οὐκ ἐπιλήσομαί σου εἰ̃πεν κύριος (Ⅲ) - Numquid oblivisci potest mulier infantem suum,/ ut non misereatur filio uteri sui ?/ Etsi illa oblita fuerit,/ ego tamen non obliviscar tui./ (Ⅳ) - 15 ׃49 התשכח אשה עולה מרחם בן בטנה גם אלה תשכחנה ואנכי לא אשכחך (Ⅴ)

Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me.
- Voici, je t'ai gravée sur mes mains; Tes murs sont toujours devant mes yeux. (Ⅱ) - ἰδοὺ ἐπὶ τω̃ν χειρω̃ν μου ἐζωγράφησά σου τὰ τείχη καὶ ἐνώπιόν μου εἰ̃ διὰ παντός (Ⅲ) - Ecce in manibus meis descripsi te ;/ muri tui coram oculis meis semper./ (Ⅳ) - 16 ׃49 הן על כפים חקתיך חומתיך נגדי תמיד (Ⅴ)

Thy children shall make haste; thy destroyers and they that made thee waste shall go forth of thee.
- Tes fils accourent; Ceux qui t'avaient détruite et ravagée Sortiront du milieu de toi. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ταχὺ οἰκοδομηθήση̨ ὑφ' ὡ̃ν καθη̨ρέθης καὶ οἱ ἐρημώσαντές σε ἐκ σου̃ ἐξελεύσονται (Ⅲ) - Venerunt structores tui ;/ destruentes te et dissipantes a te exibunt./ (Ⅳ) - 17 ׃49 מהרו בניך מהרסיך ומחרביך ממך יצאו (Ⅴ)

Lift up thine eyes round about, and behold: all these gather themselves together, and come to thee. As I live, saith the LORD, thou shalt surely clothe thee with them all, as with an ornament, and bind them on thee, as a bride doeth.
- Porte tes yeux alentour, et regarde: Tous ils s'assemblent, ils viennent vers toi. Je suis vivant! dit l'Éternel, Tu les revêtiras tous comme une parure, Tu t'en ceindras comme une fiancée. (Ⅱ) - ἀ̃ρον κύκλω̨ τοὺς ὀφθαλμούς σου καὶ ἰδὲ πάντας ἰδοὺ συνήχθησαν καὶ ἤλθοσαν πρὸς σέ ζω̃ ἐγώ λέγει κύριος ὅτι πάντας αὐτοὺς ἐνδύση̨ καὶ περιθήση̨ αὐτοὺς ὡς κόσμον νύμφης (Ⅲ) - Leva in circuitu oculos tuos, et vide :/ omnes isti congregati sunt, venerunt tibi./ Vivo ego, dicit Dominus,/ quia omnibus his velut ornamento vestieris,/ et circumdabis tibi eos quasi sponsa ;/ (Ⅳ) - 18 ׃49 שאי סביב עיניך וראי כלם נקבצו באו לך חי אני נאם יהוה כי כלם כעדי תלבשי ותקשרים ככלה (Ⅴ)

For thy waste and thy desolate places, and the land of thy destruction, shall even now be too narrow by reason of the inhabitants, and they that swallowed thee up shall be far away.
- Dans tes places ravagées et désertes, Dans ton pays ruiné, Tes habitants seront désormais à l'étroit; Et ceux qui te dévoraient s'éloigneront. (Ⅱ) - ὅτι τὰ ἔρημά σου καὶ τὰ διεφθαρμένα καὶ τὰ πεπτωκότα νυ̃ν στενοχωρήσει ἀπὸ τω̃ν κατοικούντων καὶ μακρυνθήσονται ἀπὸ σου̃ οἱ καταπίνοντές σε (Ⅲ) - quia deserta tua, et solitudines tuæ,/ et terra ruinæ tuæ,/ nunc angusta erunt præ habitatoribus ;/ et longe fugabuntur qui absorbebant te./ (Ⅳ) - 19 ׃49 כי חרבתיך ושממתיך וארץ הרסתיך כי עתה תצרי מיושב ורחקו מבלעיך (Ⅴ)

The children which thou shalt have, after thou hast lost the other, shall say again in thine ears, The place is too strait for me: give place to me that I may dwell.
- Ils répéteront à tes oreilles, Ces fils dont tu fus privée: L'espace est trop étroit pour moi; Fais-moi de la place, pour que je puisse m'établir. (Ⅱ) - ἐρου̃σιν γὰρ εἰς τὰ ὠ̃τά σου οἱ υἱοί σου οὓς ἀπολώλεκας στενός μοι ὁ τόπος ποίησόν μοι τόπον ἵνα κατοικήσω (Ⅲ) - Adhuc dicent in auribus tuis/ filii sterilitatis tuæ :/ Angustus est mihi locus ;/ fac spatium mihi ut habitem./ (Ⅳ) - 20 ׃49 עוד יאמרו באזניך בני שכליך צר לי המקום גשה לי ואשבה (Ⅴ)

Then shalt thou say in thine heart, Who hath begotten me these, seeing I have lost my children, and am desolate, a captive, and removing to and fro? and who hath brought up these? Behold, I was left alone; these, where had they been?
- Et tu diras en ton coeur: Qui me les a engendrés? Car j'étais sans enfants, j'étais stérile. J'étais exilée, répudiée: qui les a élevés? J'étais restée seule: ceux-ci, où étaient-ils? (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐρει̃ς ἐν τη̨̃ καρδία̨ σου τίς ἐγέννησέν μοι τούτους ἐγὼ δὲ ἄτεκνος καὶ χήρα τούτους δὲ τίς ἐξέθρεψέν μοι ἐγὼ δὲ κατελείφθην μόνη οὑ̃τοι δέ μοι που̃ ἠ̃σαν (Ⅲ) - Et dices in corde tuo :/ Quis genuit mihi istos ?/ ego sterilis et non pariens,/ transmigrata, et captiva ;/ et istos quis enutrivit ?/ ego destituta et sola ;/ et isti ubi erant ?/ (Ⅳ) - 21 ׃49 ואמרת בלבבך מי ילד לי את אלה ואני שכולה וגלמודה גלה וסורה ואלה מי גדל הן אני נשארתי לבדי אלה איפה הם פ (Ⅴ)

Thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I will lift up mine hand to the Gentiles, and set up my standard to the people: and they shall bring thy sons in their arms, and thy daughters shall be carried upon their shoulders.
- Ainsi a parlé le Seigneur, l'Éternel: Voici: Je lèverai ma main vers les nations, Je dresserai ma bannière vers les peuples; Et ils ramèneront tes fils entre leurs bras, Ils porteront tes filles sur les épaules. (Ⅱ) - οὕτως λέγει κύριος ἰδοὺ αἴρω εἰς τὰ ἔθνη τὴν χει̃ρά μου καὶ εἰς τὰς νήσους ἀρω̃ σύσσημόν μου καὶ ἄξουσιν τοὺς υἱούς σου ἐν κόλπω̨ τὰς δὲ θυγατέρας σου ἐπ' ὤμων ἀρου̃σιν (Ⅲ) - Hæc dicit Dominus Deus :/ Ecce levabo ad gentes manum meam,/ et ad populos exaltabo signum meum :/ et afferent filios tuos in ulnis,/ et filias tuas super humeros portabunt./ (Ⅳ) - 22 ׃49 כה אמר אדני יהוה הנה אשא אל גוים ידי ואל עמים ארים נסי והביאו בניך בחצן ובנתיך על כתף תנשאנה (Ⅴ)

And kings shall be thy nursing fathers, and their queens thy nursing mothers: they shall bow down to thee with their face toward the earth, and lick up the dust of thy feet; and thou shalt know that I am the LORD: for they shall not be ashamed that wait for me.
- Des rois seront tes nourriciers, et leurs princesses tes nourrices; Ils se prosterneront devant toi la face contre terre, Et ils lécheront la poussière de tes pieds, Et tu sauras que je suis l'Éternel, Et que ceux qui espèrent en moi ne seront point confus. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἔσονται βασιλει̃ς τιθηνοί σου αἱ δὲ ἄρχουσαι τροφοί σου ἐπὶ πρόσωπον τη̃ς γη̃ς προσκυνήσουσίν σοι καὶ τὸν χου̃ν τω̃ν ποδω̃ν σου λείξουσιν καὶ γνώση̨ ὅτι ἐγὼ κύριος καὶ οὐκ αἰσχυνθήση̨ (Ⅲ) - Et erunt reges nutritii tui,/ et reginæ nutrices tuæ ;/ vultu in terram demisso adorabunt te,/ et pulverem pedum tuorum lingent./ Et scies quia ego Dominus,/ super quo non confundentur qui exspectant eum./ (Ⅳ) - 23 ׃49 והיו מלכים אמניך ושרותיהם מיניקתיך אפים ארץ ישתחוו לך ועפר רגליך ילחכו וידעת כי אני יהוה אשר לא יבשו קוי ס (Ⅴ)

Shall the prey be taken from the mighty, or the lawful captive delivered?
- Le butin du puissant lui sera-t-il enlevé? Et la capture faite sur le juste échappera-t-elle? - (Ⅱ) - μὴ λήμψεταί τις παρὰ γίγαντος σκυ̃λα καὶ ἐὰν αἰχμαλωτεύση̨ τις ἀδίκως σωθήσεται (Ⅲ) - Numquid tolletur a forti præda ?/ aut quod captum fuerit a robusto, salvum esse poterit ?/ (Ⅳ) - 24 ׃49 היקח מגבור מלקוח ואם שבי צדיק ימלט (Ⅴ)

But thus saith the LORD, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered: for I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy children.
- Oui, dit l'Éternel, la capture du puissant lui sera enlevée, Et le butin du tyran lui échappera; Je combattrai tes ennemis, Et je sauverai tes fils. (Ⅱ) - οὕτως λέγει κύριος ἐάν τις αἰχμαλωτεύση̨ γίγαντα λήμψεται σκυ̃λα λαμβάνων δὲ παρὰ ἰσχύοντος σωθήσεται ἐγὼ δὲ τὴν κρίσιν σου κρινω̃ καὶ ἐγὼ τοὺς υἱούς σου ῥύσομαι (Ⅲ) - Quia hæc dicit Dominus :/ Equidem, et captivitas a forti tolletur,/ et quod ablatum fuerit a robusto, salvabitur./ Eos vero qui judicaverunt te, ego judicabo,/ et filios tuos ego salvabo./ (Ⅳ) - 25 ׃49 כי כה אמר יהוה גם שבי גבור יקח ומלקוח עריץ ימלט ואת יריבך אנכי אריב ואת בניך אנכי אושיע (Ⅴ)

And I will feed them that oppress thee with their own flesh; and they shall be drunken with their own blood, as with sweet wine: and all flesh shall know that I the LORD am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob.
- Je ferai manger à tes oppresseurs leur propre chair; Ils s'enivreront de leur sang comme du moût; Et toute chair saura que je suis l'Éternel, ton sauveur, Ton rédempteur, le puissant de Jacob. (Ⅱ) - καὶ φάγονται οἱ θλίψαντές σε τὰς σάρκας αὐτω̃ν καὶ πίονται ὡς οἰ̃νον νέον τὸ αἱ̃μα αὐτω̃ν καὶ μεθυσθήσονται καὶ αἰσθανθήσεται πα̃σα σὰρξ ὅτι ἐγὼ κύριος ὁ ῥυσάμενός σε καὶ ἀντιλαμβανόμενος ἰσχύος Ιακωβ (Ⅲ) - Et cibabo hostes tuos carnibus suis,/ et quasi musto, sanguine suo inebriabuntur,/ et sciet omnis caro/ quia ego Dominus salvans te,/ et redemptor tuus fortis Jacob.] (Ⅳ) - 26 ׃49 והאכלתי את מוניך את בשרם וכעסיס דמם ישכרון וידעו כל בשר כי אני יהוה מושיעך וגאלך אביר יעקב ס (Ⅴ)
