For Zion's sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem's sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burneth.
- Pour l'amour de Sion je ne me tairai point, Pour l'amour de Jérusalem je ne prendrai point de repos, Jusqu'à ce que son salut paraisse, comme l'aurore, Et sa délivrance, comme un flambeau qui s'allume. (Ⅱ) - διὰ Σιων οὐ σιωπήσομαι καὶ διὰ Ιερουσαλημ οὐκ ἀνήσω ἕως ἂν ἐξέλθη̨ ὡς φω̃ς ἡ δικαιοσύνη μου τὸ δὲ σωτήριόν μου ὡς λαμπὰς καυθήσεται (Ⅲ) - Propter Sion non tacebo,/ et propter Jerusalem non quiescam,/ donec egrediatur ut splendor justus ejus,/ et salvator ejus ut lampas accendatur./ (Ⅳ) - 1 ׃62 למען ציון לא אחשה ולמען ירושלם לא אשקוט עד יצא כנגה[c] צדקה וישועתה כלפיד יבער (Ⅴ)

And the Gentiles shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory: and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the LORD shall name.
- Alors les nations verront ton salut, Et tous les rois ta gloire; Et l'on t'appellera d'un nom nouveau, Que la bouche de l'Éternel déterminera. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ὄψονται ἔθνη τὴν δικαιοσύνην σου καὶ βασιλει̃ς τὴν δόξαν σου καὶ καλέσει σε τὸ ὄνομά σου τὸ καινόν ὃ ὁ κύριος ὀνομάσει αὐτό (Ⅲ) - Et videbunt gentes justum tuum,/ et cuncti reges inclytum tuum ;/ et vocabitur tibi nomen novum,/ quod os Domini nominabit./ (Ⅳ) - 2 ׃62 וראו גוים צדקך וכל מלכים כבודך וקרא לך שם חדש אשר פי יהוה יקבנו (Ⅴ)

Thou shalt also be a crown of glory in the hand of the LORD, and a royal diadem in the hand of thy God.
- Tu seras une couronne éclatante dans la main de l'Éternel, Un turban royal dans la main de ton Dieu. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἔση̨ στέφανος κάλλους ἐν χειρὶ κυρίου καὶ διάδημα βασιλείας ἐν χειρὶ θεου̃ σου (Ⅲ) - Et eris corona gloriæ in manu Domini,/ et diadema regni in manu Dei tui./ (Ⅳ) - 3 ׃62 והיית[1] עטרת תפארת ביד יהוה *וצנוף **וצניף מלוכה בכף אלהיך (Ⅴ)

Thou shalt no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall thy land any more be termed Desolate: but thou shalt be called Hephzibah, and thy land Beulah: for the LORD delighteth in thee, and thy land shall be married.
- On ne te nommera plus délaissée, On ne nommera plus ta terre désolation; Mais on t'appellera mon plaisir en elle, Et l'on appellera ta terre épouse; Car l'Éternel met son plaisir en toi, Et ta terre aura un époux. (Ⅱ) - καὶ οὐκέτι κληθήση̨ καταλελειμμένη καὶ ἡ γη̃ σου οὐ κληθήσεται ἔρημος σοὶ γὰρ κληθήσεται θέλημα ἐμόν καὶ τη̨̃ γη̨̃ σου οἰκουμένη (Ⅲ) - Non vocaberis ultra Derelicta,/ et terra tua non vocabitur amplius Desolata ;/ sed vocaberis, Voluntas mea in ea,/ et terra tua Inhabitata,/ quia complacuit Domino in te,/ et terra tua inhabitabitur./ (Ⅳ) - 4 ׃62 לא יאמר לך עוד עזובה ולארצך לא יאמר עוד שממה כי לך יקרא חפצי בה ולארצך בעולה כי חפץ יהוה בך וארצך תבעל (Ⅴ)

For as a young man marrieth a virgin, so shall thy sons marry thee: and as the bridegroom rejoiceth over the bride, so shall thy God rejoice over thee.
- Comme un jeune homme s'unit à une vierge, Ainsi tes fils s'uniront à toi; Et comme la fiancée fait la joie de son fiancé, Ainsi tu feras la joie de ton Dieu. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ὡς συνοικω̃ν νεανίσκος παρθένω̨ οὕτως κατοικήσουσιν οἱ υἱοί σου μετὰ σου̃ καὶ ἔσται ὃν τρόπον εὐφρανθήσεται νυμφίος ἐπὶ νύμφη̨ οὕτως εὐφρανθήσεται κύριος ἐπὶ σοί (Ⅲ) - Habitabit enim juvenis cum virgine,/ et habitabunt in te filii tui ;/ et gaudebit sponsus super sponsam,/ et gaudebit super te Deus tuus./ (Ⅳ) - 5 ׃62 כי יבעל בחור בתולה יבעלוך בניך ומשוש חתן על כלה ישיש עליך אלהיך (Ⅴ)

I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor night: ye that make mention of the LORD, keep not silence,
- Sur tes murs, Jérusalem, j'ai placé des gardes; Ils ne se tairont ni jour ni nuit. Vous qui la rappelez au souvenir de l'Éternel, Point de repos pour vous! (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐπὶ τω̃ν τειχέων σου Ιερουσαλημ κατέστησα φύλακας ὅλην τὴν ἡμέραν καὶ ὅλην τὴν νύκτα οἳ διὰ τέλους οὐ σιωπήσονται μιμνη̨σκόμενοι κυρίου (Ⅲ) - Super muros tuos, Jerusalem, constitui custodes ;/ tota die et tota nocte/ in perpetuum non tacebunt./ Qui reminiscimini Domini, ne taceatis,/ (Ⅳ) - 6 ׃62 על חומתיך ירושלם הפקדתי שמרים כל היום וכל הלילה תמיד לא יחשו המזכרים את יהוה אל דמי לכם (Ⅴ)

And give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth.
- Et ne lui laissez aucun relâche, Jusqu'à ce qu'il rétablisse Jérusalem Et la rende glorieuse sur la terre. (Ⅱ) - οὐκ ἔστιν γὰρ ὑμι̃ν ὅμοιος ἐὰν διορθώση̨ καὶ ποιήση̨ Ιερουσαλημ ἀγαυρίαμα ἐπὶ τη̃ς γη̃ς (Ⅲ) - et ne detis silentium ei,/ donec stabiliat et donec ponat Jerusalem/ laudem in terra./ (Ⅳ) - 7 ׃62 ואל תתנו דמי לו עד יכונן ועד ישים את ירושלם תהלה בארץ (Ⅴ)

The LORD hath sworn by his right hand, and by the arm of his strength, Surely I will no more give thy corn to be meat for thine enemies; and the sons of the stranger shall not drink thy wine, for the which thou hast laboured:
- L'Éternel l'a juré par sa droite et par son bras puissant: Je ne donnerai plus ton blé pour nourriture à tes ennemis, Et les fils de l'étranger ne boiront plus ton vin, Produit de tes labeurs; (Ⅱ) - ὤμοσεν κύριος κατὰ τη̃ς δεξια̃ς αὐτου̃ καὶ κατὰ τη̃ς ἰσχύος του̃ βραχίονος αὐτου̃ εἰ ἔτι δώσω τὸν σι̃τόν σου καὶ τὰ βρώματά σου τοι̃ς ἐχθροι̃ς σου καὶ εἰ ἔτι πίονται υἱοὶ ἀλλότριοι τὸν οἰ̃νόν σου ἐφ' ὡ̨̃ ἐμόχθησας (Ⅲ) - Juravit Dominus in dextera sua,/ et in brachio fortitudinis suæ :/ Si dedero triticum tuum ultra/ cibum inimicis tuis ;/ et si biberint filii alieni vinum tuum/ in quo laborasti./ (Ⅳ) - 8 ׃62 נשבע יהוה בימינו ובזרוע עזו אם אתן את דגנך עוד מאכל לאיביך ואם ישתו בני נכר תירושך אשר יגעת בו (Ⅴ)

But they that have gathered it shall eat it, and praise the LORD; and they that have brought it together shall drink it in the courts of my holiness.
- Mais ceux qui auront amassé le blé le mangeront Et loueront l'Éternel, Et ceux qui auront récolté le vin le boiront, Dans les parvis de mon sanctuaire. (Ⅱ) - ἀλλ' ἢ οἱ συνάγοντες φάγονται αὐτὰ καὶ αἰνέσουσιν κύριον καὶ οἱ συνάγοντες πίονται αὐτὰ ἐν ται̃ς ἐπαύλεσιν ται̃ς ἁγίαις μου (Ⅲ) - Quia qui congregant illud, comedent,/ et laudabunt Dominum ;/ et qui comportant illud, bibent/ in atriis sanctis meis./ (Ⅳ) - 9 ׃62 כי מאספיו יאכלהו והללו את יהוה ומקבציו ישתהו בחצרות קדשי ס (Ⅴ)

Go through, go through the gates; prepare ye the way of the people; cast up, cast up the highway; gather out the stones; lift up a standard for the people.
- Franchissez, franchissez les portes! Préparez un chemin pour le peuple! Frayez, frayez la route, ôtez les pierres! Élevez une bannière vers les peuples! (Ⅱ) - πορεύεσθε διὰ τω̃ν πυλω̃ν μου καὶ ὁδοποιήσατε τω̨̃ λαω̨̃ μου καὶ τοὺς λίθους τοὺς ἐκ τη̃ς ὁδου̃ διαρρίψατε ἐξάρατε σύσσημον εἰς τὰ ἔθνη (Ⅲ) - Transite, transite per portas,/ præparate viam populo :/ planum facite iter, eligite lapides,/ et elevate signum ad populos./ (Ⅳ) - 10 ׃62 עברו עברו בשערים פנו דרך העם סלו סלו המסלה סקלו מאבן הרימו נס על העמים (Ⅴ)

Behold, the LORD hath proclaimed unto the end of the world, Say ye to the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy salvation cometh; behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him.
- Voici ce que l'Éternel proclame aux extrémités de la terre: Dites à la fille de Sion: Voici, ton sauveur arrive; Voici, le salaire est avec lui, Et les rétributions le précèdent. (Ⅱ) - ἰδοὺ γὰρ κύριος ἐποίησεν ἀκουστὸν ἕως ἐσχάτου τη̃ς γη̃ς εἴπατε τη̨̃ θυγατρὶ Σιων ἰδού σοι ὁ σωτὴρ παραγίνεται ἔχων τὸν ἑαυτου̃ μισθὸν καὶ τὸ ἔργον πρὸ προσώπου αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ) - Ecce Dominus auditum fecit/ in extremis terræ :/ Dicite filiæ Sion :/ Ecce Salvator tuus venit ;/ ecce merces ejus cum eo,/ et opus ejus coram illo./ (Ⅳ) - 11 ׃62 הנה יהוה השמיע אל קצה הארץ אמרו לבת ציון הנה ישעך בא הנה שכרו אתו ופעלתו לפניו (Ⅴ)

And they shall call them, The holy people, The redeemed of the LORD: and thou shalt be called, Sought out, A city not forsaken.
- On les appellera peuple saint, rachetés de l'Éternel; Et toi, on t'appellera recherchée, ville non délaissée. (Ⅱ) - καὶ καλέσει αὐτὸν λαὸν ἅγιον λελυτρωμένον ὑπὸ κυρίου σὺ δὲ κληθήση̨ ἐπιζητουμένη πόλις καὶ οὐκ ἐγκαταλελειμμένη (Ⅲ) - Et vocabunt eos, Populus sanctus,/ redempti a Domino ;/ tu autem vocaberis, Quæsita civitas,/ et non Derelicta.] (Ⅳ) - 12 ׃62 וקראו להם עם הקדש גאולי יהוה ולך יקרא דרושה עיר לא נעזבה ס (Ⅴ)
