12. 1  
Righteous art thou, O LORD, when I plead with thee: yet let me talk with thee of thy judgments: Wherefore doth the way of the wicked prosper? wherefore are all they happy that deal very treacherously?
- Tu es trop juste, Éternel, pour que je conteste avec toi; Je veux néanmoins t'adresser la parole sur tes jugements: Pourquoi la voie des méchants est-elle prospère? Pourquoi tous les perfides vivent-ils en paix? (Ⅱ)
- δίκαιος εἰ̃ κύριε ὅτι ἀπολογήσομαι πρὸς σέ πλὴν κρίματα λαλήσω πρὸς σέ τί ὅτι ὁδὸς ἀσεβω̃ν εὐοδου̃ται εὐθήνησαν πάντες οἱ ἀθετου̃ντες ἀθετήματα (Ⅲ)
- Justus quidem tu es, Domine, si disputem tecum :/ verumtamen justa loquar ad te :/ Quare via impiorum prosperatur ;/ bene est omnibus qui prævaricantur et inique agunt ?/ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 1  ׃12  צדיק אתה יהוה כי אריב אליך אך משפטים אדבר אותך מדוע דרך רשעים צלחה שלו כל בגדי בגד ‬ (Ⅴ)
12. 2  
Thou hast planted them, yea, they have taken root: they grow, yea, they bring forth fruit: thou art near in their mouth, and far from their reins.
- Tu les as plantés, ils ont pris racine, Ils croissent, ils portent du fruit; Tu es près de leur bouche, Mais loin de leur coeur. (Ⅱ)
- ἐφύτευσας αὐτοὺς καὶ ἐρριζώθησαν ἐτεκνοποίησαν καὶ ἐποίησαν καρπόν ἐγγὺς εἰ̃ σὺ του̃ στόματος αὐτω̃ν καὶ πόρρω ἀπὸ τω̃ν νεφρω̃ν αὐτω̃ν (Ⅲ)
- Plantasti eos, et radicem miserunt :/ proficiunt, et faciunt fructum :/ prope es tu ori eorum,/ et longe a renibus eorum./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 2  ׃12  נטעתם גם שרשו ילכו גם עשו פרי קרוב אתה בפיהם ורחוק מכליותיהם ‬ (Ⅴ)
12. 3  
But thou, O LORD, knowest me: thou hast seen me, and tried mine heart toward thee: pull them out like sheep for the slaughter, and prepare them for the day of slaughter.
- Et toi, Éternel, tu me connais, Tu me vois, tu sondes mon coeur qui est avec toi. Enlève-les comme des brebis qu'on doit égorger, Et prépare-les pour le jour du carnage! (Ⅱ)
- καὶ σύ κύριε γινώσκεις με δεδοκίμακας τὴν καρδίαν μου ἐναντίον σου ἅγνισον αὐτοὺς εἰς ἡμέραν σφαγη̃ς αὐτω̃ν (Ⅲ)
- Et tu, Domine, nosti me, vidisti me,/ et probasti cor meum tecum./ Congrega eos quasi gregem ad victimam,/ et sanctifica eos in die occisionis./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 3  ׃12  ואתה יהוה ידעתני תראני ובחנת לבי אתך התקם כצאן לטבחה והקדשם ליום הרגה ס‬ (Ⅴ)
12. 4  
How long shall the land mourn, and the herbs of every field wither, for the wickedness of them that dwell therein? the beasts are consumed, and the birds; because they said, He shall not see our last end.
- Jusques à quand le pays sera-t-il dans le deuil, Et l'herbe de tous les champs sera-t-elle desséchée? A cause de la méchanceté des habitants, Les bêtes et les oiseaux périssent. Car ils disent: Il ne verra pas notre fin. - (Ⅱ)
- ἕως πότε πενθήσει ἡ γη̃ καὶ πα̃ς ὁ χόρτος του̃ ἀγρου̃ ξηρανθήσεται ἀπὸ κακίας τω̃ν κατοικούντων ἐν αὐτη̨̃ ἠφανίσθησαν κτήνη καὶ πετεινά ὅτι εἰ̃παν οὐκ ὄψεται ὁ θεὸς ὁδοὺς ἡμω̃ν (Ⅲ)
- Usquequo lugebit terra,/ et herba omnis regionis siccabitur,/ propter malitiam habitantium in ea ?/ Consumptum est animal, et volucre,/ quoniam dixerunt : Non videbit novissima nostra./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 4  ׃12  עד מתי תאבל הארץ ועשב כל השדה ייבש מרעת ישבי בה ספתה בהמות ועוף כי אמרו לא יראה את אחריתנו ‬ (Ⅴ)
12. 5  
If thou hast run with the footmen, and they have wearied thee, then how canst thou contend with horses? and if in the land of peace, wherein thou trustedst, they wearied thee, then how wilt thou do in the swelling of Jordan?
- Si tu cours avec des piétons et qu'ils te fatiguent, Comment pourras-tu lutter avec des chevaux? Et si tu ne te crois en sûreté que dans une contrée paisible, Que feras-tu sur les rives orgueilleuses du Jourdain? (Ⅱ)
- σου̃ οἱ πόδες τρέχουσιν καὶ ἐκλύουσίν σε πω̃ς παρασκευάση̨ ἐφ' ἵπποις καὶ ἐν γη̨̃ εἰρήνης σὺ πέποιθας πω̃ς ποιήσεις ἐν φρυάγματι του̃ Ιορδάνου (Ⅲ)
- Si cum peditibus currens laborasti,/ quomodo contendere poteris cum equis ?/ cum autem in terra pacis securus fueris,/ quid facies in superbia Jordanis ?/ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 5  ׃12  כי את רגלים רצתה וילאוך ואיך תתחרה את הסוסים ובארץ שלום אתה בוטח ואיך תעשה בגאון הירדן ‬ (Ⅴ)
12. 6  
For even thy brethren, and the house of thy father, even they have dealt treacherously with thee; yea, they have called a multitude after thee: believe them not, though they speak fair words unto thee.
- Car tes frères eux-mêmes et la maison de ton père te trahissent, Ils crient eux-mêmes à pleine voix derrière toi. Ne les crois pas, quand ils te diront des paroles amicales. (Ⅱ)
- ὅτι καὶ οἱ ἀδελφοί σου καὶ ὁ οἰ̃κος του̃ πατρός σου καὶ οὑ̃τοι ἠθέτησάν σε καὶ αὐτοὶ ἐβόησαν ἐκ τω̃ν ὀπίσω σου ἐπισυνήχθησαν μὴ πιστεύση̨ς ἐν αὐτοι̃ς ὅτι λαλήσουσιν πρὸς σὲ καλά (Ⅲ)
- Nam et fratres tui, et domus patris tui,/ etiam ipsi pugnaverunt adversum te,/ et clamaverunt post te plena voce :/ ne credas eis,/ cum locuti fuerint tibi bona.]\ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 6  ׃12  כי גם אחיך ובית אביך גם המה בגדו בך גם המה קראו אחריך מלא אל תאמן בם כי ידברו אליך טובות ס‬ (Ⅴ)
12. 7  
I have forsaken mine house, I have left mine heritage; I have given the dearly beloved of my soul into the hand of her enemies.
- J'ai abandonné ma maison, J'ai délaissé mon héritage, J'ai livré l'objet de mon amour aux mains de ses ennemis. (Ⅱ)
- ἐγκαταλέλοιπα τὸν οἰ̃κόν μου ἀφη̃κα τὴν κληρονομίαν μου ἔδωκα τὴν ἠγαπημένην ψυχήν μου εἰς χει̃ρας ἐχθρω̃ν αὐτη̃ς (Ⅲ)
- Reliqui domum meam ;/ dimisi hæreditatem meam :/ dedi dilectam animam meam in manu inimicorum ejus./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 7  ׃12  עזבתי את ביתי נטשתי את נחלתי נתתי את ידדות נפשי בכף איביה ‬ (Ⅴ)
12. 8  
Mine heritage is unto me as a lion in the forest; it crieth out against me: therefore have I hated it.
- Mon héritage a été pour moi comme un lion dans la forêt, Il a poussé contre moi ses rugissements; C'est pourquoi je l'ai pris en haine. (Ⅱ)
- ἐγενήθη ἡ κληρονομία μου ἐμοὶ ὡς λέων ἐν δρυμω̨̃ ἔδωκεν ἐπ' ἐμὲ τὴν φωνὴν αὐτη̃ς διὰ του̃το ἐμίσησα αὐτήν (Ⅲ)
- Facta est mihi hæreditas mea quasi leo in silva :/ dedit contra me vocem, ideo odivi eam./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 8  ׃12  היתה לי נחלתי כאריה ביער נתנה עלי בקולה על כן שנאתיה ‬ (Ⅴ)
12. 9  
Mine heritage is unto me as a speckled bird, the birds round about are against her; come ye, assemble all the beasts of the field, come to devour.
- Mon héritage a été pour moi un oiseau de proie, une hyène; Aussi les oiseaux de proie viendront de tous côtés contre lui. Allez, rassemblez tous les animaux des champs, Faites-les venir pour qu'ils le dévorent! (Ⅱ)
- μὴ σπήλαιον ὑαίνης ἡ κληρονομία μου ἐμοὶ ἢ σπήλαιον κύκλω̨ αὐτη̃ς βαδίσατε συναγάγετε πάντα τὰ θηρία του̃ ἀγρου̃ καὶ ἐλθέτωσαν του̃ φαγει̃ν αὐτήν (Ⅲ)
- Numquid avis discolor hæreditas mea mihi ?/ numquid avis tincta per totum ?/ Venite, congregamini, omnes bestiæ terræ :/ properate ad devorandum./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 9  ׃12  העיט צבוע נחלתי לי העיט סביב עליה לכו אספו כל חית השדה התיו לאכלה ‬ (Ⅴ)
12. 10  
Many pastors have destroyed my vineyard, they have trodden my portion under foot, they have made my pleasant portion a desolate wilderness.
- Des bergers nombreux ravagent ma vigne, Ils foulent mon champ; Ils réduisent le champ de mes délices En un désert, en une solitude. (Ⅱ)
- ποιμένες πολλοὶ διέφθειραν τὸν ἀμπελω̃νά μου ἐμόλυναν τὴν μερίδα μου ἔδωκαν μερίδα ἐπιθυμητήν μου εἰς ἔρημον ἄβατον (Ⅲ)
- Pastores multi demoliti sunt vineam meam,/ conculcaverunt partem meam,/ dederunt portionem meam desiderabilem in desertum solitudinis./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 10 ׃12  רעים רבים שחתו כרמי בססו את חלקתי נתנו את חלקת חמדתי למדבר שממה ‬ (Ⅴ)
12. 11  
They have made it desolate, and being desolate it mourneth unto me; the whole land is made desolate, because no man layeth it to heart.
- Ils le réduisent en un désert; Il est en deuil, il est désolé devant moi. Tout le pays est ravagé, Car nul n'y prend garde. (Ⅱ)
- ἐτέθη εἰς ἀφανισμὸν ἀπωλείας δι' ἐμὲ ἀφανισμω̨̃ ἠφανίσθη πα̃σα ἡ γη̃ ὅτι οὐκ ἔστιν ἀνὴρ τιθέμενος ἐν καρδία̨ (Ⅲ)
- Posuerunt eam in dissipationem,/ luxitque super me :/ desolatione desolata est omnis terra,/ quia nullus est qui recogitet corde./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 11 ׃12  שמה לשממה אבלה עלי שממה נשמה כל הארץ כי אין איש שם על לב ‬ (Ⅴ)
12. 12  
The spoilers are come upon all high places through the wilderness: for the sword of the LORD shall devour from the one end of the land even to the other end of the land: no flesh shall have peace.
- Sur tous les lieux élevés du désert arrivent les dévastateurs, Car le glaive de l'Éternel dévore le pays d'un bout à l'autre; Il n'y a de paix pour aucun homme. (Ⅱ)
- ἐπὶ πα̃σαν διεκβολὴν ἐν τη̨̃ ἐρήμω̨ ἠ̃λθον ταλαιπωρου̃ντες ὅτι μάχαιρα του̃ κυρίου καταφάγεται ἀπ' ἄκρου τη̃ς γη̃ς ἕως ἄκρου τη̃ς γη̃ς οὐκ ἔστιν εἰρήνη πάση̨ σαρκί (Ⅲ)
- Super omnes vias deserti venerunt vastatores,/ quia gladius Domini devorabit :/ ab extremo terræ usque ad extremum ejus,/ non est pax universæ carni./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 12 ׃12  על כל שפים במדבר באו שדדים כי חרב ליהוה אכלה מקצה ארץ ועד קצה הארץ אין שלום לכל בשר ס‬ (Ⅴ)
12. 13  
They have sown wheat, but shall reap thorns: they have put themselves to pain, but shall not profit: and they shall be ashamed of your revenues because of the fierce anger of the LORD.
- Ils ont semé du froment, et ils moissonnent des épines, Ils se sont fatigués sans profit. Ayez honte de ce que vous récoltez, Par suite de la colère ardente de l'Éternel. (Ⅱ)
- σπείρατε πυροὺς καὶ ἀκάνθας θερίσατε οἱ κλη̃ροι αὐτω̃ν οὐκ ὠφελήσουσιν αὐτούς αἰσχύνθητε ἀπὸ καυχήσεως ὑμω̃ν ἀπὸ ὀνειδισμου̃ ἔναντι κυρίου (Ⅲ)
- Seminaverunt triticum,/ et spinas messuerunt :/ hæreditatem acceperunt,/ et non eis proderit./ Confundemini a fructibus vestris/ propter iram furoris Domini./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 13 ׃12  זרעו חטים וקצים קצרו נחלו לא יועלו ובשו מתבואתיכם מחרון אף יהוה ס‬ (Ⅴ)
12. 14  
Thus saith the LORD against all mine evil neighbours, that touch the inheritance which I have caused my people Israel to inherit; Behold, I will pluck them out of their land, and pluck out the house of Judah from among them.
- Ainsi parle l'Éternel sur tous mes méchants voisins, Qui attaquent l'héritage que j'ai donné à mon peuple d'Israël: Voici, je les arracherai de leur pays, Et j'arracherai la maison de Juda du milieu d'eux. (Ⅱ)
- ὅτι τάδε λέγει κύριος περὶ πάντων τω̃ν γειτόνων τω̃ν πονηρω̃ν τω̃ν ἁπτομένων τη̃ς κληρονομίας μου ἡ̃ς ἐμέρισα τω̨̃ λαω̨̃ μου Ισραηλ ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ἀποσπω̃ αὐτοὺς ἀπὸ τη̃ς γη̃ς αὐτω̃ν καὶ τὸν Ιουδαν ἐκβαλω̃ ἐκ μέσου αὐτω̃ν (Ⅲ)
- Hæc dicit Dominus adversum omnes vicinos meos pessimos,/ qui tangunt hæreditatem quam distribui populo meo Israël :/ Ecce ego evellam eos de terra sua,/ et domum Juda evellam de medio eorum./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 14 ׃12  כה אמר יהוה על כל שכני הרעים הנגעים בנחלה אשר הנחלתי את עמי את ישראל הנני נתשם מעל אדמתם ואת בית יהודה אתוש מתוכם ‬ (Ⅴ)
12. 15  
And it shall come to pass, after that I have plucked them out I will return, and have compassion on them, and will bring them again, every man to his heritage, and every man to his land.
- Mais après que je les aurai arrachés, J'aurai de nouveau compassion d'eux, Et je les ramènerai chacun dans son héritage, Chacun dans son pays. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ ἔσται μετὰ τὸ ἐκβαλει̃ν με αὐτοὺς ἐπιστρέψω καὶ ἐλεήσω αὐτοὺς καὶ κατοικιω̃ αὐτοὺς ἕκαστον εἰς τὴν κληρονομίαν αὐτου̃ καὶ ἕκαστον εἰς τὴν γη̃ν αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ)
- Et cum evulsero eos, convertar,/ et miserebor eorum, et reducam eos :/ virum ad hæreditatem suam,/ et virum in terram suam./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 15 ׃12  והיה אחרי נתשי אותם אשוב ורחמתים והשבתים איש לנחלתו ואיש לארצו ‬ (Ⅴ)
12. 16  
And it shall come to pass, if they will diligently learn the ways of my people, to swear by my name, The LORD liveth; as they taught my people to swear by Baal; then shall they be built in the midst of my people.
- Et s'ils apprennent les voies de mon peuple, S'ils jurent par mon nom, en disant: L'Éternel est vivant! Comme ils ont enseigné à mon peuple à jurer par Baal, Alors ils jouiront du bonheur au milieu de mon peuple. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ ἔσται ἐὰν μαθόντες μάθωσιν τὴν ὁδὸν του̃ λαου̃ μου του̃ ὀμνύειν τω̨̃ ὀνόματί μου ζη̨̃ κύριος καθὼς ἐδίδαξαν τὸν λαόν μου ὀμνύειν τη̨̃ Βααλ καὶ οἰκοδομηθήσονται ἐν μέσω̨ του̃ λαου̃ μου (Ⅲ)
- Et erit : si eruditi didicerint vias populi mei,/ ut jurent in nomine meo : Vivit Dominus !/ sicut docuerunt populum meum jurare in Baal,/ ædificabuntur in medio populi mei./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 16 ׃12  והיה אם למד ילמדו את דרכי עמי להשבע בשמי חי יהוה כאשר למדו את עמי להשבע בבעל ונבנו בתוך עמי ‬ (Ⅴ)
12. 17  
But if they will not obey, I will utterly pluck up and destroy that nation, saith the LORD.
- Mais s'ils n'écoutent rien, Je détruirai une telle nation, Je la détruirai, je la ferai périr, dit l'Éternel. (Ⅱ)
- ἐὰν δὲ μὴ ἐπιστρέψωσιν καὶ ἐξαρω̃ τὸ ἔθνος ἐκει̃νο ἐξάρσει καὶ ἀπωλεία̨ (Ⅲ)
- Quod si non audierint,/ evellam gentem illam evulsione et perditione, ait Dominus.] (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 17 ׃12  ואם לא ישמעו ונתשתי את הגוי ההוא נתוש ואבד נאם יהוה ס‬ (Ⅴ)
