31. 1  
At the same time, saith the LORD, will I be the God of all the families of Israel, and they shall be my people.
- En ce temps-là, dit l'Éternel, Je serai le Dieu de toutes les familles d'Israël, Et ils seront mon peuple. (Ⅱ)
- In tempore illo, dicit Dominus,/ ero Deus universis cognationibus Israël,/ et ipsi erunt mihi in populum./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 1  ׃31  בעת ההיא נאם יהוה אהיה לאלהים לכל משפחות ישראל והמה יהיו לי לעם ס‬ (Ⅴ)
31. 2  
Thus saith the LORD, The people which were left of the sword found grace in the wilderness; even Israel, when I went to cause him to rest.
- Ainsi parle l'Éternel: Il a trouvé grâce dans le désert, Le peuple de ceux qui ont échappé au glaive; Israël marche vers son lieu de repos. (Ⅱ)
- Hæc dicit Dominus :/ Invenit gratiam in deserto populus qui remanserat a gladio :/ vadet ad requiem suam Israël./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 2  ׃31  כה אמר יהוה מצא חן במדבר עם שרידי חרב הלוך להרגיעו ישראל ‬ (Ⅴ)
31. 3  
The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.
- De loin l'Éternel se montre à moi: Je t'aime d'un amour éternel; C'est pourquoi je te conserve ma bonté. (Ⅱ)
- Longe Dominus apparuit mihi./ Et in caritate perpetua dilexi te :/ ideo attraxi te, miserans./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 3  ׃31  מרחוק יהוה נראה לי ואהבת עולם אהבתיך על כן משכתיך חסד ‬ (Ⅴ)
31. 4  
Again I will build thee, and thou shalt be built, O virgin of Israel: thou shalt again be adorned with thy tabrets, and shalt go forth in the dances of them that make merry.
- Je te rétablirai encore, et tu seras rétablie, Vierge d'Israël! Tu auras encore tes tambourins pour parure, Et tu sortiras au milieu des danses joyeuses. (Ⅱ)
- Rursumque ædificabo te, et ædificaberis, virgo Israël :/ adhuc ornaberis tympanis tuis,/ et egredieris in choro ludentium./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 4  ׃31  עוד אבנך ונבנית בתולת ישראל עוד תעדי תפיך ויצאת במחול משחקים ‬ (Ⅴ)
31. 5  
Thou shalt yet plant vines upon the mountains of Samaria: the planters shall plant, and shall eat them as common things.
- Tu planteras encore des vignes sur les montagnes de Samarie; Les planteurs planteront, et cueilleront les fruits. (Ⅱ)
- Adhuc plantabis vineas in montibus Samariæ :/ plantabunt plantantes,/ et donec tempus veniat, non vindemiabunt./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 5  ׃31  עוד תטעי כרמים בהרי שמרון נטעו נטעים וחללו ‬ (Ⅴ)
31. 6  
For there shall be a day, that the watchmen upon the mount Ephraim shall cry, Arise ye, and let us go up to Zion unto the LORD our God.
- Car le jour vient où les gardes crieront sur la montagne d'Éphraïm: (Ⅱ)
- Quia erit dies in qua clamabunt custodes in monte Ephraim :/ Surgite, et ascendamus in Sion ad Dominum Deum nostrum./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 6  ׃31  כי יש יום קראו נצרים בהר אפרים קומו ונעלה ציון אל יהוה אלהינו פ‬ (Ⅴ)
31. 7  
For thus saith the LORD; Sing with gladness for Jacob, and shout among the chief of the nations: publish ye, praise ye, and say, O LORD, save thy people, the remnant of Israel.
- Levez-vous, montons à Sion, vers l'Éternel, notre Dieu! Car ainsi parle l'Éternel: Poussez des cris de joie sur Jacob, Éclatez d'allégresse à la tête des nations! Élevez vos voix, chantez des louanges, et dites: Éternel, délivre ton peuple, le reste d'Israël! (Ⅱ)
- Quia hæc dicit Dominus :/ Exsultate in lætitia, Jacob,/ et hinnite contra caput gentium :/ personate, et canite, et dicite :/ Salva, Domine, populum tuum, reliquias Israël./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 7  ׃31  כי כה אמר יהוה רנו ליעקב שמחה וצהלו בראש הגוים השמיעו הללו ואמרו הושע יהוה את עמך את שארית ישראל ‬ (Ⅴ)
31. 8  
Behold, I will bring them from the north country, and gather them from the coasts of the earth, and with them the blind and the lame, the woman with child and her that travaileth with child together: a great company shall return thither.
- Voici, je les ramène du pays du septentrion, Je les rassemble des extrémités de la terre; Parmi eux sont l'aveugle et le boiteux, La femme enceinte et celle en travail; C'est une grande multitude, qui revient ici. (Ⅱ)
- Ecce ego adducam eos de terra aquilonis,/ et congregabo eos ab extremis terræ :/ inter quos erunt cæcus et claudus,/ prægnans et pariens simul,/ cœtus magnus revertentium huc./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 8  ׃31  הנני מביא אותם מארץ צפון וקבצתים מירכתי ארץ בם עור ופסח הרה וילדת יחדו קהל גדול ישובו הנה ‬ (Ⅴ)
31. 9  
They shall come with weeping, and with supplications will I lead them: I will cause them to walk by the rivers of waters in a straight way, wherein they shall not stumble: for I am a father to Israel, and Ephraim is my firstborn.
- Ils viennent en pleurant, et je les conduis au milieu de leurs supplications; Je les mène vers des torrents d'eau, Par un chemin uni où ils ne chancellent pas; Car je suis un père pour Israël, Et Éphraïm est mon premier-né. (Ⅱ)
- In fletu venient,/ et in misericordia reducam eos :/ et adducam eos per torrentes aquarum in via recta,/ et non impingent in ea,/ quia factus sum Israëli pater,/ et Ephraim primogenitus meus est./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 9  ׃31  בבכי יבאו ובתחנונים אובילם אוליכם אל נחלי מים בדרך ישר לא יכשלו בה כי הייתי לישראל לאב ואפרים בכרי הוא ס‬ (Ⅴ)
31. 10  
Hear the word of the LORD, O ye nations, and declare it in the isles afar off, and say, He that scattered Israel will gather him, and keep him, as a shepherd doth his flock.
- Nations, écoutez la parole de l'Éternel, Et publiez-la dans les îles lointaines! Dites: Celui qui a dispersé Israël le rassemblera, Et il le gardera comme le berger garde son troupeau. (Ⅱ)
- Audite verbum Domini, gentes,/ et annuntiate in insulis quæ procul sunt,/ et dicite : Qui dispersit Israël congregabit eum,/ et custodiet eum sicut pastor gregem suum./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 10 ׃31  שמעו דבר יהוה גוים והגידו באיים ממרחק ואמרו מזרה ישראל יקבצנו ושמרו כרעה עדרו ‬ (Ⅴ)
31. 11  
For the LORD hath redeemed Jacob, and ransomed him from the hand of him that was stronger than he.
- Car l'Éternel rachète Jacob, Il le délivre de la main d'un plus fort que lui. (Ⅱ)
- Redemit enim Dominus Jacob,/ et liberavit eum de manu potentioris./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 11 ׃31  כי פדה יהוה את יעקב וגאלו מיד חזק ממנו ‬ (Ⅴ)
31. 12  
Therefore they shall come and sing in the height of Zion, and shall flow together to the goodness of the LORD, for wheat, and for wine, and for oil, and for the young of the flock and of the herd: and their soul shall be as a watered garden; and they shall not sorrow any more at all.
- Ils viendront, et pousseront des cris de joie sur les hauteurs de Sion; Ils accourront vers les biens de l'Éternel, Le blé, le moût, l'huile, Les brebis et les boeufs; Leur âne sera comme un jardin arrosé, Et ils ne seront plus dans la souffrance. (Ⅱ)
- Et venient, et laudabunt in monte Sion :/ et confluent ad bona Domini,/ super frumento, et vino, et oleo,/ et fœtu pecorum et armentorum :/ eritque anima eorum quasi hortus irriguus,/ et ultra non esurient./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 12 ׃31  ובאו ורננו במרום ציון ונהרו אל טוב יהוה על דגן ועל תירש ועל יצהר ועל בני צאן ובקר והיתה נפשם כגן רוה ולא יוסיפו לדאבה עוד ‬ (Ⅴ)
31. 13  
Then shall the virgin rejoice in the dance, both young men and old together: for I will turn their mourning into joy, and will comfort them, and make them rejoice from their sorrow.
- Alors les jeunes filles se réjouiront à la danse, Les jeunes hommes et les vieillards se réjouiront aussi; Je changerai leur deuil en allégresse, et je les consolerai; Je leur donnerai de la joie après leurs chagrins. (Ⅱ)
- Tunc lætabitur virgo in choro,/ juvenes et senes simul :/ et convertam luctum eorum in gaudium,/ et consolabor eos, et lætificabo a dolore suo./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 13 ׃31  אז תשמח בתולה במחול ובחרים וזקנים יחדו והפכתי אבלם לששון ונחמתים ושמחתים מיגונם ‬ (Ⅴ)
31. 14  
And I will satiate the soul of the priests with fatness, and my people shall be satisfied with my goodness, saith the LORD.
- Je rassasierai de graisse l'âme des sacrificateurs, Et mon peuple se rassasiera de mes biens, dit l'Éternel. (Ⅱ)
- Et inebriabo animam sacerdotum pinguedine,/ et populus meus bonis meis adimplebitur, ait Dominus./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 14 ׃31  ורויתי נפש הכהנים דשן ועמי את טובי ישבעו נאם יהוה ס‬ (Ⅴ)
31. 15  
Thus saith the LORD; A voice was heard in Ramah, lamentation, and bitter weeping; Rahel weeping for her children refused to be comforted for her children, because they were not.
- Ainsi parle l'Éternel: On entend des cris à Rama, Des lamentations, des larmes amères; Rachel pleure ses enfants; Elle refuse d'être consolée sur ses enfants, Car ils ne sont plus. (Ⅱ)
- Hæc dicit Dominus :/ Vox in excelso audita est lamentationis :/ luctus, et fletus Rachel plorantis filios suos,/ et nolentis consolari super eis,/ quia non sunt./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 15 ׃31  כה אמר יהוה קול ברמה נשמע נהי בכי תמרורים רחל מבכה על בניה מאנה להנחם על בניה כי איננו ס‬ (Ⅴ)
31. 16  
Thus saith the LORD; Refrain thy voice from weeping, and thine eyes from tears: for thy work shall be rewarded, saith the LORD; and they shall come again from the land of the enemy.
- Ainsi parle l'Éternel: Retiens tes pleurs, Retiens les larmes de tes yeux; Car il y aura un salaire pour tes oeuvres, dit l'Éternel; Ils reviendront du pays de l'ennemi. (Ⅱ)
- Hæc dicit Dominus :/ Quiescat vox tua a ploratu,/ et oculi tui a lacrimis,/ quia est merces operi tuo, ait Dominus,/ et revertentur de terra inimici :/ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 16 ׃31  כה אמר יהוה מנעי קולך מבכי ועיניך מדמעה כי יש שכר לפעלתך נאם יהוה ושבו מארץ אויב ‬ (Ⅴ)
31. 17  
And there is hope in thine end, saith the LORD, that thy children shall come again to their own border.
- Il y a de l'espérance pour ton avenir, dit l'Éternel; Tes enfants reviendront dans leur territoire. (Ⅱ)
- et est spes novissimis tuis, ait Dominus,/ et revertentur filii ad terminos suos./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 17 ׃31  ויש תקוה לאחריתך נאם יהוה ושבו בנים לגבולם ס‬ (Ⅴ)
31. 18  
I have surely heard Ephraim bemoaning himself thus; Thou hast chastised me, and I was chastised, as a bullock unaccustomed to the yoke: turn thou me, and I shall be turned; for thou art the LORD my God.
- J'entends Éphraïm qui se lamente: Tu m'as châtié, et j'ai été châtié Comme un veau qui n'est pas dompté; Fais-moi revenir, et je reviendrai, Car tu es l'Éternel, mon Dieu. (Ⅱ)
- Audiens audivi Ephraim transmigrantem :/ Castigasti me, et eruditus sum,/ quasi juvenculus indomitus :/ converte me, et convertar,/ quia tu Dominus Deus meus./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 18 ׃31  שמוע שמעתי אפרים מתנודד יסרתני ואוסר כעגל לא למד השיבני ואשובה כי אתה יהוה אלהי ‬ (Ⅴ)
31. 19  
Surely after that I was turned, I repented; and after that I was instructed, I smote upon my thigh: I was ashamed, yea, even confounded, because I did bear the reproach of my youth.
- Après m'être détourné, j'éprouve du repentir; Et après avoir reconnu mes fautes, je frappe sur ma cuisse; Je suis honteux et confus, Car je porte l'opprobre de ma jeunesse. - (Ⅱ)
- Postquam enim convertisti me, egi pœnitentiam :/ et postquam ostendisti mihi, percussi femur meum./ Confusus sum, et erubui,/ quoniam sustinui opprobrium adolescentiæ meæ./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 19 ׃31  כי אחרי שובי נחמתי ואחרי הודעי ספקתי על ירך בשתי וגם נכלמתי כי נשאתי חרפת נעורי ‬ (Ⅴ)
31. 20  
Is Ephraim my dear son? is he a pleasant child? for since I spake against him, I do earnestly remember him still: therefore my bowels are troubled for him; I will surely have mercy upon him, saith the LORD.
- Éphraïm est-il donc pour moi un fils chéri, Un enfant qui fait mes délices? Car plus je parle de lui, plus encore son souvenir est en moi; Aussi mes entrailles sont émues en sa faveur: J'aurai pitié de lui, dit l'Éternel. - (Ⅱ)
- Si filius honorabilis mihi Ephraim,/ si puer delicatus !/ quia ex quo locutus sum de eo,/ adhuc recordabor ejus./ Idcirco conturbata sunt viscera mea super eum :/ miserans miserebor ejus, ait Dominus./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 20 ׃31  הבן יקיר לי אפרים אם ילד שעשעים כי מדי דברי בו זכר אזכרנו עוד על כן המו מעי לו רחם ארחמנו נאם יהוה ס‬ (Ⅴ)
31. 21  
Set thee up waymarks, make thee high heaps: set thine heart toward the highway, even the way which thou wentest: turn again, O virgin of Israel, turn again to these thy cities.
- Dresse des signes, place des poteaux, Prends garde à la route, au chemin que tu as suivi... Reviens, vierge d'Israël, Reviens dans ces villes qui sont à toi! (Ⅱ)
- Statue tibi speculam ;/ pone tibi amaritudines ;/ dirige cor tuum in viam rectam in qua ambulasti :/ revertere, virgo Israël,/ revertere ad civitates tuas istas./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 21 ׃31  הציבי לך צינים שמי לך תמרורים שתי לבך למסלה דרך *הלכתי **הלכת שובי בתולת ישראל שבי אל עריך אלה ‬ (Ⅴ)
31. 22  
How long wilt thou go about, O thou backsliding daughter? for the LORD hath created a new thing in the earth, A woman shall compass a man.
- Jusques à quand seras-tu errante, Fille égarée? Car l'Éternel crée une chose nouvelle sur la terre: La femme recherchera l'homme. (Ⅱ)
- Usquequo deliciis dissolveris, filia vaga ?/ quia creavit Dominus novum super terram :/ femina circumdabit virum./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 22 ׃31  עד מתי תתחמקין הבת השובבה כי ברא יהוה חדשה בארץ נקבה תסובב גבר ס‬ (Ⅴ)
31. 23  
Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; As yet they shall use this speech in the land of Judah and in the cities thereof, when I shall bring again their captivity; The LORD bless thee, O habitation of justice, and mountain of holiness.
- Ainsi parle l'Éternel des armées, le Dieu d'Israël: Voici encore ce que l'on dira dans le pays de Juda et dans ses villes, Quand j'aurai ramené leurs captifs: Que l'Éternel te bénisse, demeure de la justice, Montagne sainte! (Ⅱ)
- Hæc dicit Dominus exercituum, Deus Israël :/ Adhuc dicent verbum istud/ in terra Juda et in urbibus ejus,/ cum convertero captivitatem eorum :/ Benedicat tibi Dominus, pulchritudo justitiæ, mons sanctus :/ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 23 ׃31  כה אמר יהוה צבאות אלהי ישראל עוד יאמרו את הדבר הזה בארץ יהודה ובעריו בשובי את שבותם יברכך יהוה נוה צדק הר הקדש ‬ (Ⅴ)
31. 24  
And there shall dwell in Judah itself, and in all the cities thereof together, husbandmen, and they that go forth with flocks.
- Là s'établiront Juda et toutes ses villes, Les laboureurs et ceux qui conduisent les troupeaux. (Ⅱ)
- et habitabunt in eo Judas et omnes civitates ejus simul,/ agricolæ et minantes greges./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 24 ׃31  וישבו בה יהודה וכל עריו יחדו אכרים ונסעו בעדר ‬ (Ⅴ)
31. 25  
For I have satiated the weary soul, and I have replenished every sorrowful soul.
- Car je rafraîchirai l'âme altérée, Et je rassasierai toute âme languissante. (Ⅱ)
- Quia inebriavi animam lassam,/ et omnem animam esurientem saturavi./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 25 ׃31  כי הרויתי נפש עיפה וכל נפש דאבה מלאתי ‬ (Ⅴ)
31. 26  
Upon this I awaked, and beheld; and my sleep was sweet unto me.
- Là-dessus je me suis réveillé, et j'ai regardé; Mon sommeil m'avait été agréable. (Ⅱ)
- Ideo quasi de somno suscitatus sum :/ et vidi, et somnus meus dulcis mihi./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 26 ׃31  על זאת הקיצתי ואראה ושנתי ערבה לי ס‬ (Ⅴ)
31. 27  
Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will sow the house of Israel and the house of Judah with the seed of man, and with the seed of beast.
- Voici, les jours viennent, dit l'Éternel, Où j'ensemencerai la maison d'Israël et la maison de Juda D'une semence d'hommes et d'une semence de bêtes. (Ⅱ)
- Ecce dies veniunt, dicit Dominus,/ et seminabo domum Israël et domum Juda/ semine hominum et semine jumentorum./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 27 ׃31  הנה ימים באים נאם יהוה וזרעתי את בית ישראל ואת בית יהודה זרע אדם וזרע בהמה ‬ (Ⅴ)
31. 28  
And it shall come to pass, that like as I have watched over them, to pluck up, and to break down, and to throw down, and to destroy, and to afflict; so will I watch over them, to build, and to plant, saith the LORD.
- Et comme j'ai veillé sur eux Pour arracher, abattre, détruire, ruiner et faire du mal, Ainsi je veillerai sur eux pour bâtir et pour planter, Dit l'Éternel. (Ⅱ)
- Et sicut vigilavi super eos/ ut evellerem, et demolirer, et dissiparem,/ et disperderem, et affligerem,/ sic vigilabo super eos/ ut ædificem et plantem, ait Dominus./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 28 ׃31  והיה כאשר שקדתי עליהם לנתוש ולנתוץ ולהרס ולהאביד ולהרע כן אשקד עליהם לבנות ולנטוע נאם יהוה ‬ (Ⅴ)
31. 29  
In those days they shall say no more, The fathers have eaten a sour grape, and the children's teeth are set on edge.
- En ces jours-là, on ne dira plus: Les pères ont mangé des raisins verts, Et les dents des enfants en ont été agacées. (Ⅱ)
- In diebus illis non dicent ultra :/ Patres comederunt uvam acerbam,/ et dentes filiorum obstupuerunt./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 29 ׃31  בימים ההם לא יאמרו עוד אבות אכלו בסר ושני בנים תקהינה ‬ (Ⅴ)
31. 30  
But every one shall die for his own iniquity: every man that eateth the sour grape, his teeth shall be set on edge.
- Mais chacun mourra pour sa propre iniquité; Tout homme qui mangera des raisins verts, Ses dents en seront agacées. (Ⅱ)
- Sed unusquisque in iniquitate sua morietur :/ omnis homo qui comederit uvam acerbam,/ obstupescent dentes ejus./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 30 ׃31  כי אם איש בעונו ימות כל האדם האכל הבסר תקהינה שניו ס‬ (Ⅴ)
31. 31  
Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:
- Voici, les jours viennent, dit l'Éternel, Où je ferai avec la maison d'Israël et la maison de Juda Une alliance nouvelle, (Ⅱ)
- Ecce dies venient, dicit Dominus,/ et feriam domui Israël et domui Juda fœdus novum,/ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 31 ׃31  הנה ימים באים נאם יהוה וכרתי את בית ישראל ואת בית יהודה ברית חדשה ‬ (Ⅴ)
31. 32  
Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD:
- Non comme l'alliance que je traitai avec leurs pères, Le jour où je les saisis par la main Pour les faire sortir du pays d'Égypte, Alliance qu'ils ont violée, Quoique je fusse leur maître, dit l'Éternel. (Ⅱ)
- non secundum pactum quod pepigi cum patribus eorum/ in die qua apprehendi manum eorum/ ut educerem eos de terra Ægypti,/ pactum quod irritum fecerunt :/ et ego dominatus sum eorum, dicit Dominus./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 32 ׃31  לא כברית אשר כרתי את אבותם ביום החזיקי בידם להוציאם מארץ מצרים אשר המה הפרו את בריתי ואנכי בעלתי בם נאם יהוה ‬ (Ⅴ)
31. 33  
But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.
- Mais voici l'alliance que je ferai avec la maison d'Israël, Après ces jours-là, dit l'Éternel: Je mettrai ma loi au dedans d'eux, Je l'écrirai dans leur coeur; Et je serai leur Dieu, Et ils seront mon peuple. (Ⅱ)
- Sed hoc erit pactum quod feriam cum domo Israël/ post dies illos, dicit Dominus :/ dabo legem meam in visceribus eorum,/ et in corde eorum scribam eam,/ et ero eis in Deum,/ et ipsi erunt mihi in populum :/ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 33 ׃31  כי זאת הברית אשר אכרת את בית ישראל אחרי הימים ההם נאם יהוה נתתי את תורתי בקרבם ועל לבם אכתבנה והייתי להם לאלהים והמה יהיו לי לעם ‬ (Ⅴ)
31. 34  
And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.
- Celui-ci n'enseignera plus son prochain, Ni celui-là son frère, en disant: Connaissez l'Éternel! Car tous me connaîtront, Depuis le plus petit jusqu'au plus grand, dit l'Éternel; Car je pardonnerai leur iniquité, Et je ne me souviendrai plus de leur péché. (Ⅱ)
- et non docebit ultra vir proximum suum/ et vir fratrem suum,/ dicens : Cognosce Dominum :/ omnes enim cognoscent me,/ a minimo eorum usque ad maximum, ait Dominus :/ quia propitiabor iniquitati eorum,/ et peccati eorum non memorabor amplius./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 34 ׃31  ולא ילמדו עוד איש את רעהו ואיש את אחיו לאמר דעו את יהוה כי כולם ידעו אותי למקטנם ועד גדולם נאם יהוה כי אסלח לעונם ולחטאתם לא אזכר עוד ס‬ (Ⅴ)
31. 35  
Thus saith the LORD, which giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; The LORD of hosts is his name:
- Ainsi parle l'Éternel, qui a fait le soleil pour éclairer le jour, Qui a destiné la lune et les étoiles à éclairer la nuit, Qui soulève la mer et fait mugir ses flots, Lui dont le nom est l'Éternel des armées: (Ⅱ)
- Hæc dicit Dominus qui dat solem in lumine diei,/ ordinem lunæ et stellarum in lumine noctis :/ qui turbat mare, et sonant fluctus ejus :/ Dominus exercituum nomen illi :/ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 35 ׃31  כה אמר יהוה נתן שמש לאור יומם חקת ירח וכוכבים לאור לילה רגע הים ויהמו גליו יהוה צבאות שמו ‬ (Ⅴ)
31. 36  
If those ordinances depart from before me, saith the LORD, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever.
- Si ces lois viennent à cesser devant moi, dit l'Éternel, La race d'Israël aussi cessera pour toujours d'être une nation devant moi. (Ⅱ)
- Si defecerint leges istæ coram me, dicit Dominus,/ tunc et semen Israël deficiet,/ ut non sit gens coram me cunctis diebus./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 36 ׃31  אם ימשו החקים האלה מלפני נאם יהוה גם זרע ישראל ישבתו מהיות גוי לפני כל הימים ס‬ (Ⅴ)
31. 37  
Thus saith the LORD; If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, saith the LORD.
- Ainsi parle l'Éternel: Si les cieux en haut peuvent être mesurés, Si les fondements de la terre en bas peuvent être sondés, Alors je rejetterai toute la race d'Israël, A cause de tout ce qu'ils ont fait, dit l'Éternel. (Ⅱ)
- Hæc dicit Dominus :/ Si mensurari potuerint cæli sursum,/ et investigari fundamenta terræ deorsum,/ et ego abjiciam universum semen Israël,/ propter omnia quæ fecerunt, dicit Dominus./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 37 ׃31  כה אמר יהוה אם ימדו שמים מלמעלה ויחקרו מוסדי ארץ למטה גם אני אמאס בכל זרע ישראל על כל אשר עשו נאם יהוה ס‬ (Ⅴ)
31. 38  
Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that the city shall be built to the LORD from the tower of Hananeel unto the gate of the corner.
- Voici, les jours viennent, dit l'Éternel, Où la ville sera rebâtie à l'honneur de l'Éternel, Depuis la tour de Hananeel jusqu'à la porte de l'angle. (Ⅱ)
- Ecce dies veniunt, dicit Dominus,/ et ædificabitur civitas Domino,/ a turre Hananeel usque ad portam anguli./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 38 ׃31  הנה ימים **באים‪[a]‬ נאם יהוה ונבנתה העיר ליהוה ממגדל חננאל שער הפנה ‬ (Ⅴ)
31. 39  
And the measuring line shall yet go forth over against it upon the hill Gareb, and shall compass about to Goath.
- Le cordeau s'étendra encore vis-à-vis, Jusqu'à la colline de Gareb, Et fera un circuit du côté de Goath. (Ⅱ)
- Et exibit ultra norma mensuræ/ in conspectu ejus super collem Gareb,/ et circuibit Goatha,/ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 39 ׃31  ויצא עוד *קוה **קו המדה נגדו על גבעת גרב ונסב געתה ‬ (Ⅴ)
31. 40  
And the whole valley of the dead bodies, and of the ashes, and all the fields unto the brook of Kidron, unto the corner of the horse gate toward the east, shall be holy unto the LORD; it shall not be plucked up, nor thrown down any more for ever.
- Toute la vallée des cadavres et de la cendre, Et tous les champs jusqu'au torrent de Cédron, Jusqu'à l'angle de la porte des chevaux à l'orient, Seront consacrés à l'Éternel, Et ne seront plus à jamais ni renversés ni détruits. (Ⅱ)
- et omnem vallem cadaverum, et cineris,/ et universam regionem mortis/ usque ad torrentem Cedron,/ et usque ad angulum portæ equorum orientalis,/ Sanctum Domini :/ non evelletur, et non destruetur ultra in perpetuum.] (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 40 ׃31  וכל העמק הפגרים והדשן וכל *השרמות **השדמות עד נחל קדרון עד פנת שער הסוסים מזרחה קדש ליהוה לא ינתש ולא יהרס עוד לעולם ס‬ (Ⅴ)
