15. 1  
And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
- La parole de l'Éternel me fut adressée, en ces mots: (Ⅱ)
- καὶ ἐγένετο λόγος κυρίου πρός με λέγων (Ⅲ)
- Et factus est sermo Domini ad me, dicens : (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 1  ׃15  ויהי דבר יהוה אלי לאמר ‬ (Ⅴ)
15. 2  
Son of man, what is the vine tree more than any tree, or than a branch which is among the trees of the forest?
- Fils de l'homme, le bois de la vigne, qu'a-t-il de plus que tout autre bois, Le sarment qui est parmi les arbres de la forêt? (Ⅱ)
- καὶ σύ υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου τί ἂν γένοιτο τὸ ξύλον τη̃ς ἀμπέλου ἐκ πάντων τω̃ν ξύλων τω̃ν κλημάτων τω̃ν ὄντων ἐν τοι̃ς ξύλοις του̃ δρυμου̃ (Ⅲ)
- Fili hominis, quid fiet de ligno vitis,/ ex omnibus lignis nemorum/ quæ sunt inter ligna silvarum ?/ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 2  ׃15  בן אדם מה יהיה עץ הגפן מכל עץ הזמורה אשר היה בעצי היער ‬ (Ⅴ)
15. 3  
Shall wood be taken thereof to do any work? or will men take a pin of it to hang any vessel thereon?
- Prend-on de ce bois pour fabriquer un ouvrage? En tire-t-on une cheville pour y suspendre un objet quelconque? (Ⅱ)
- εἰ λήμψονται ἐξ αὐτη̃ς ξύλον του̃ ποιη̃σαι εἰς ἐργασίαν εἰ λήμψονται ἐξ αὐτη̃ς πάσσαλον του̃ κρεμάσαι ἐπ' αὐτὸν πα̃ν σκευ̃ος (Ⅲ)
- numquid tolletur de ea lignum ut fiat opus,/ aut fabricabitur de ea paxillus/ ut dependeat in eo quodcumque vas ?/ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 3  ׃15  היקח ממנו עץ לעשות למלאכה אם יקחו ממנו יתד לתלות עליו כל כלי ‬ (Ⅴ)
15. 4  
Behold, it is cast into the fire for fuel; the fire devoureth both the ends of it, and the midst of it is burned. Is it meet for any work?
- Voici, on le met au feu pour le consumer; Le feu en consume les deux bouts, et le milieu brûle: Sera-t-il bon à quelque chose? (Ⅱ)
- πάρεξ πυρὶ δέδοται εἰς ἀνάλωσιν τὴν κατ' ἐνιαυτὸν κάθαρσιν ἀπ' αὐτη̃ς ἀναλίσκει τὸ πυ̃ρ καὶ ἐκλείπει εἰς τέλος μὴ χρήσιμον ἔσται εἰς ἐργασίαν (Ⅲ)
- Ecce igni datum est in escam :/ utramque partem ejus consumpsit ignis,/ et medietas ejus redacta est in favillam :/ numquid utile erit ad opus ?/ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 4  ׃15  הנה לאש נתן לאכלה את שני קצותיו אכלה האש ותוכו נחר היצלח למלאכה ‬ (Ⅴ)
15. 5  
Behold, when it was whole, it was meet for no work: how much less shall it be meet yet for any work, when the fire hath devoured it, and it is burned?
- Voici, lorsqu'il était entier, on n'en faisait aucun ouvrage; Combien moins, lorsque le feu l'a consumé et qu'il est brûlé, En pourra-t-on faire quelque ouvrage? (Ⅱ)
- οὐδὲ ἔτι αὐτου̃ ὄντος ὁλοκλήρου οὐκ ἔσται εἰς ἐργασίαν μὴ ὅτι ἐὰν καὶ πυ̃ρ αὐτὸ ἀναλώση̨ εἰς τέλος εἰ ἔσται ἔτι εἰς ἐργασίαν (Ⅲ)
- Etiam cum esset integrum,/ non erat aptum ad opus :/ quanto magis cum illud ignis devoraverit et combusserit,/ nihil ex eo fiet operis ?/ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 5  ׃15  הנה בהיותו תמים לא יעשה למלאכה אף כי אש אכלתהו ויחר ונעשה עוד למלאכה ס‬ (Ⅴ)
15. 6  
Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; As the vine tree among the trees of the forest, which I have given to the fire for fuel, so will I give the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
- C'est pourquoi ainsi parle le Seigneur, l'Éternel: Comme le bois de la vigne parmi les arbres de la forêt, Ce bois que je livre au feu pour le consumer, Ainsi je livrerai les habitants de Jérusalem. (Ⅱ)
- διὰ του̃το εἰπόν τάδε λέγει κύριος ὃν τρόπον τὸ ξύλον τη̃ς ἀμπέλου ἐν τοι̃ς ξύλοις του̃ δρυμου̃ ὃ δέδωκα αὐτὸ τω̨̃ πυρὶ εἰς ἀνάλωσιν οὕτως δέδωκα τοὺς κατοικου̃ντας Ιερουσαλημ (Ⅲ)
- Propterea hæc dicit Dominus Deus :/ Quomodo lignum vitis inter ligna silvarum,/ quod dedi igni ad devorandum,/ sic tradam habitatores Jerusalem./ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 6  ׃15  לכן כה אמר אדני יהוה כאשר עץ הגפן בעץ היער אשר נתתיו לאש לאכלה כן נתתי את ישבי ירושלם ‬ (Ⅴ)
15. 7  
And I will set my face against them; they shall go out from one fire, and another fire shall devour them; and ye shall know that I am the LORD, when I set my face against them.
- Je tournerai ma face contre eux; Ils sont sortis du feu, et le feu les consumera. Et vous saurez que je suis l'Éternel, Quand je tournerai ma face contre eux. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ δώσω τὸ πρόσωπόν μου ἐπ' αὐτούς ἐκ του̃ πυρὸς ἐξελεύσονται καὶ πυ̃ρ αὐτοὺς καταφάγεται καὶ ἐπιγνώσονται ὅτι ἐγὼ κύριος ἐν τω̨̃ στηρίσαι με τὸ πρόσωπόν μου ἐπ' αὐτούς (Ⅲ)
- Et ponam faciem meam in eos :/ de igne egredientur,/ et ignis consumet eos :/ et scietis quia ego Dominus,/ cum posuero faciem meam in eos,/ (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 7  ׃15  ונתתי את פני בהם מהאש יצאו והאש תאכלם וידעתם כי אני יהוה בשומי את פני בהם ‬ (Ⅴ)
15. 8  
And I will make the land desolate, because they have committed a trespass, saith the Lord GOD.
- Je ferai du pays un désert, Parce qu'ils ont été infidèles, Dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel. (Ⅱ)
- καὶ δώσω τὴν γη̃ν εἰς ἀφανισμὸν ἀνθ' ὡ̃ν παρέπεσον παραπτώματι λέγει κύριος (Ⅲ)
- et dedero terram inviam et desolatam,/ eo quod prævaricatores extiterint,/ dicit Dominus Deus.] (Ⅳ)
- ‫ 8  ׃15  ונתתי את הארץ שממה יען מעלו מעל נאם אדני יהוה פ‬ (Ⅴ)
