And he said unto me, Son of man, stand upon thy feet, and I will speak unto thee.
- Il me dit: Fils de l'homme, tiens-toi sur tes pieds, et je te parlerai. (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἰ̃πεν πρός με υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου στη̃θι ἐπὶ τοὺς πόδας σου καὶ λαλήσω πρὸς σέ (Ⅲ) - Hæc visio similitudinis gloriæ Domini. Et vidi, et cecidi in faciem meam, et audivi vocem loquentis, et dixit ad me : Fili hominis, sta super pedes tuos, et loquar tecum. (Ⅳ) - 1 ׃2 ויאמר אלי בן אדם עמד על רגליך ואדבר אתך (Ⅴ)

And the spirit entered into me when he spake unto me, and set me upon my feet, that I heard him that spake unto me.
- Dès qu'il m'eut adressé ces mots, l'esprit entra en moi et me fit tenir sur mes pieds; et j'entendis celui qui me parlait. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἠ̃λθεν ἐπ' ἐμὲ πνευ̃μα καὶ ἀνέλαβέν με καὶ ἐξη̃ρέν με καὶ ἔστησέν με ἐπὶ τοὺς πόδας μου καὶ ἤκουον αὐτου̃ λαλου̃ντος πρός με (Ⅲ) - Et ingressus est in me spiritus postquam locutus est mihi, et statuit me supra pedes meos : et audivi loquentem ad me, (Ⅳ) - 2 ׃2 ותבא בי רוח כאשר דבר אלי ותעמדני על רגלי ואשמע את מדבר אלי פ (Ⅴ)

And he said unto me, Son of man, I send thee to the children of Israel, to a rebellious nation that hath rebelled against me: they and their fathers have transgressed against me, even unto this very day.
- Il me dit: Fils de l'homme, je t'envoie vers les enfants d'Israël, vers ces peuples rebelles, qui se sont révoltés contre moi; eux et leurs pères ont péché contre moi, jusqu'au jour même où nous sommes. (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἰ̃πεν πρός με υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου ἐξαποστέλλω ἐγώ σε πρὸς τὸν οἰ̃κον του̃ Ισραηλ τοὺς παραπικραίνοντάς με οἵτινες παρεπίκρανάν με αὐτοὶ καὶ οἱ πατέρες αὐτω̃ν ἕως τη̃ς σήμερον ἡμέρας (Ⅲ) - et dicentem : Fili hominis, mitto ego te ad filios Israël, ad gentes apostatrices quæ recesserunt a me : ipsi et patres eorum prævaricati sunt pactum meum usque ad diem hanc : (Ⅳ) - 3 ׃2 ויאמר אלי בן אדם שולח אני אותך אל בני ישראל אל גוים המורדים אשר מרדו בי המה ואבותם פשעו בי עד עצם היום הזה (Ⅴ)

For they are impudent children and stiffhearted. I do send thee unto them; and thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD.
- Ce sont des enfants à la face impudente et au coeur endurci; je t'envoie vers eux, et tu leur diras: Ainsi parle le Seigneur, l'Éternel. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐρει̃ς πρὸς αὐτούς τάδε λέγει κύριος (Ⅲ) - et filii dura facie et indomabili corde sunt, ad quos ego mitto te. Et dices ad eos : Hæc dicit Dominus Deus : (Ⅳ) - 4 ׃2 והבנים קשי פנים וחזקי לב אני שולח אותך אליהם ואמרת אליהם כה אמר אדני יהוה (Ⅴ)

And they, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear, (for they are a rebellious house,) yet shall know that there hath been a prophet among them.
- Qu'ils écoutent, ou qu'ils n'écoutent pas, -car c'est une famille de rebelles, -ils sauront qu'un prophète est au milieu d'eux. (Ⅱ) - ἐὰν ἄρα ἀκούσωσιν ἢ πτοηθω̃σιν διότι οἰ̃κος παραπικραίνων ἐστίν καὶ γνώσονται ὅτι προφήτης εἰ̃ σὺ ἐν μέσω̨ αὐτω̃ν (Ⅲ) - si forte vel ipsi audiant, et si forte quiescant, quoniam domus exasperans est : et scient quia propheta fuerit in medio eorum. (Ⅳ) - 5 ׃2 והמה אם ישמעו ואם יחדלו כי בית מרי המה וידעו כי נביא היה בתוכם פ (Ⅴ)

And thou, son of man, be not afraid of them, neither be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns be with thee, and thou dost dwell among scorpions: be not afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house.
- Et toi, fils de l'homme, ne les crains pas et ne crains pas leurs discours, quoique tu aies auprès de toi des ronces et des épines, et que tu habites avec des scorpions; ne crains pas leurs discours et ne t'effraie pas de leurs visages, quoiqu'ils soient une famille de rebelles. (Ⅱ) - καὶ σύ υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου μὴ φοβηθη̨̃ς αὐτοὺς μηδὲ ἐκστη̨̃ς ἀπὸ προσώπου αὐτω̃ν διότι παροιστρήσουσι καὶ ἐπισυστήσονται ἐπὶ σὲ κύκλω̨ καὶ ἐν μέσω̨ σκορπίων σὺ κατοικει̃ς τοὺς λόγους αὐτω̃ν μὴ φοβηθη̨̃ς καὶ ἀπὸ προσώπου αὐτω̃ν μὴ ἐκστη̨̃ς διότι οἰ̃κος παραπικραίνων ἐστίν (Ⅲ) - Tu ergo, fili hominis, ne timeas eos, neque sermones eorum metuas, quoniam increduli et subversores sunt tecum, et cum scorpionibus habitas. Verba eorum ne timeas, et vultus eorum ne formides, quia domus exasperans est. (Ⅳ) - 6 ׃2 ואתה בן אדם אל תירא מהם ומדבריהם אל תירא כי סרבים וסלונים אותך ואל עקרבים אתה יושב מדבריהם אל תירא ומפניהם אל תחת כי בית מרי המה (Ⅴ)

And thou shalt speak my words unto them, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear: for they are most rebellious.
- Tu leur diras mes paroles, qu'ils écoutent ou qu'ils n'écoutent pas, car ce sont des rebelles. (Ⅱ) - καὶ λαλήσεις τοὺς λόγους μου πρὸς αὐτούς ἐὰν ἄρα ἀκούσωσιν ἢ πτοηθω̃σιν διότι οἰ̃κος παραπικραίνων ἐστίν (Ⅲ) - Loqueris ergo verba mea ad eos, si forte audiant, et quiescant : quoniam irritatores sunt. (Ⅳ) - 7 ׃2 ודברת את דברי אליהם אם ישמעו ואם יחדלו כי מרי המה פ (Ⅴ)

But thou, son of man, hear what I say unto thee; Be not thou rebellious like that rebellious house: open thy mouth, and eat that I give thee.
- Et toi, fils de l'homme, écoute ce que je vais te dire! Ne sois pas rebelle, comme cette famille de rebelles! Ouvre ta bouche, et mange ce que je te donnerai! (Ⅱ) - καὶ σύ υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου ἄκουε του̃ λαλου̃ντος πρὸς σέ μὴ γίνου παραπικραίνων καθὼς ὁ οἰ̃κος ὁ παραπικραίνων χάνε τὸ στόμα σου καὶ φάγε ἃ ἐγὼ δίδωμί σοι (Ⅲ) - Tu autem, fili hominis, audi quæcumque loquor ad te, et noli esse exasperans, sicut domus exasperatrix est : aperi os tuum, et comede quæcumque ego do tibi. (Ⅳ) - 8 ׃2 ואתה בן אדם שמע את אשר אני מדבר אליך אל תהי מרי כבית המרי פצה פיך ואכל את אשר אני נתן אליך (Ⅴ)

And when I looked, behold, an hand was sent unto me; and, lo, a roll of a book was therein;
- Je regardai, et voici, une main était étendue vers moi, et elle tenait un livre en rouleau. (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἰ̃δον καὶ ἰδοὺ χεὶρ ἐκτεταμένη πρός με καὶ ἐν αὐτη̨̃ κεφαλὶς βιβλίου (Ⅲ) - Et vidi : et ecce manus missa ad me, in qua erat involutus liber : (Ⅳ) - 9 ׃2 ואראה והנה יד שלוחה אלי והנה בו מגלת ספר (Ⅴ)

And he spread it before me; and it was written within and without: and there was written therein lamentations, and mourning, and woe.
- Il le déploya devant moi, et il était écrit en dedans et en dehors; des lamentations, des plaintes et des gémissements y étaient écrits. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἀνείλησεν αὐτὴν ἐνώπιον ἐμου̃ καὶ ἐν αὐτη̨̃ γεγραμμένα ἠ̃ν τὰ ὄπισθεν καὶ τὰ ἔμπροσθεν καὶ ἐγέγραπτο εἰς αὐτὴν θρη̃νος καὶ μέλος καὶ οὐαί (Ⅲ) - et expandit illum coram me, qui erat scriptus intus et foris : et scriptæ erant in eo lamentationes, et carmen, et væ. (Ⅳ) - 10 ׃2 ויפרש אותה לפני והיא כתובה פנים ואחור וכתוב אליה קנים והגה והי ס (Ⅴ)
