Afterward he brought me again unto the door of the house; and, behold, waters issued out from under the threshold of the house eastward: for the forefront of the house stood toward the east, and the waters came down from under from the right side of the house, at the south side of the altar.
- Il me ramena vers la porte de la maison. Et voici, de l'eau sortait sous le seuil de la maison, à l'orient, car la face de la maison était à l'orient; l'eau descendait sous le côté droit de la maison, au midi de l'autel. (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἰσήγαγέν με ἐπὶ τὰ πρόθυρα του̃ οἴκου καὶ ἰδοὺ ὕδωρ ἐξεπορεύετο ὑποκάτωθεν του̃ αἰθρίου κατ' ἀνατολάς ὅτι τὸ πρόσωπον του̃ οἴκου ἔβλεπεν κατ' ἀνατολάς καὶ τὸ ὕδωρ κατέβαινεν ἀπὸ του̃ κλίτους του̃ δεξιου̃ ἀπὸ νότου ἐπὶ τὸ θυσιαστήριον (Ⅲ) - Et convertit me ad portam domus, et ecce aquæ egrediebantur subter limen domus ad orientem : facies enim domus respiciebat ad orientem, aquæ autem descendebant in latus templi dextrum, ad meridiem altaris. (Ⅳ) - 1 ׃47 וישבני אל פתח הבית והנה מים יצאים מתחת מפתן הבית קדימה כי פני הבית קדים והמים ירדים מתחת מכתף הבית הימנית מנגב למזבח (Ⅴ)

Then brought he me out of the way of the gate northward, and led me about the way without unto the utter gate by the way that looketh eastward; and, behold, there ran out waters on the right side.
- Il me conduisit par le chemin de la porte septentrionale, et il me fit faire le tour par dehors jusqu'à l'extérieur de la porte orientale. Et voici, l'eau coulait du côté droit. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐξήγαγέν με κατὰ τὴν ὁδὸν τη̃ς πύλης τη̃ς πρὸς βορρα̃ν καὶ περιήγαγέν με τὴν ὁδὸν ἔξωθεν πρὸς τὴν πύλην τη̃ς αὐλη̃ς τη̃ς βλεπούσης κατ' ἀνατολάς καὶ ἰδοὺ τὸ ὕδωρ κατεφέρετο ἀπὸ του̃ κλίτους του̃ δεξιου̃ (Ⅲ) - Et eduxit me per viam portæ aquilonis, et convertit me ad viam foras portam exteriorem, viam quæ respiciebat ad orientem : et ecce aquæ redundantes a latere dextro. (Ⅳ) - 2 ׃47 ויוצאני דרך שער צפונה ויסבני דרך חוץ אל שער החוץ דרך הפונה קדים והנה מים מפכים מן הכתף הימנית (Ⅴ)

And when the man that had the line in his hand went forth eastward, he measured a thousand cubits, and he brought me through the waters; the waters were to the ankles.
- Lorsque l'homme s'avança vers l'orient, il avait dans la main un cordeau, et il mesura mille coudées; il me fit traverser l'eau, et j'avais de l'eau jusqu'aux chevilles. (Ⅱ) - καθὼς ἔξοδος ἀνδρὸς ἐξ ἐναντίας καὶ μέτρον ἐν τη̨̃ χειρὶ αὐτου̃ καὶ διεμέτρησεν χιλίους ἐν τω̨̃ μέτρω̨ καὶ διη̃λθεν ἐν τω̨̃ ὕδατι ὕδωρ ἀφέσεως (Ⅲ) - Cum egrederetur vir ad orientem, qui habebat funiculum in manu sua, et mensus est mille cubitos, et traduxit me per aquam usque ad talos. Again he measured a thousand, and brought me through the waters; the waters were to the knees. Again he measured a thousand, and brought me through; the waters were to the loins.

(Ⅱ) - καὶ διεμέτρησεν χιλίους καὶ διη̃λθεν ἐν τω̨̃ ὕδατι ὕδωρ ἕως τω̃ν μηρω̃ν καὶ διεμέτρησεν χιλίους καὶ διη̃λθεν ὕδωρ ἕως ὀσφύος (Ⅲ) - Rursumque mensus est mille, et traduxit me per aquam usque ad genua. (Ⅳ) - 4 ׃47 וימד אלף ויעברני במים מים ברכים וימד אלף ויעברני מי מתנים (Ⅴ)

Afterward he measured a thousand; and it was a river that I could not pass over: for the waters were risen, waters to swim in, a river that could not be passed over.
- Il mesura encore mille coudées; c'était un torrent que je ne pouvais traverser, car l'eau était si profonde qu'il fallait y nager; c'était un torrent qu'on ne pouvait traverser. (Ⅱ) - καὶ διεμέτρησεν χιλίους καὶ οὐκ ἠδύνατο διελθει̃ν ὅτι ἐξύβριζεν τὸ ὕδωρ ὡς ῥοι̃ζος χειμάρρου ὃν οὐ διαβήσονται (Ⅲ) - Et mensus est mille, et traduxit me per aquam usque ad renes. Et mensus est mille, torrentem quem non potui pertransire, quoniam intumuerant aquæ profundi torrentis, qui non potest transvadari. (Ⅳ) - 5 ׃47 וימד אלף נחל אשר לא אוכל לעבר כי גאו המים מי שחו נחל אשר לא יעבר (Ⅴ)

And he said unto me, Son of man, hast thou seen this? Then he brought me, and caused me to return to the brink of the river.
- Il me dit: As-tu vu, fils de l'homme? Et il me ramena au bord du torrent. Now when I had returned, behold, at the bank of the river were very many trees on the one side and on the other.
- Quand il m'eut ramené, voici, il y avait sur le bord du torrent beaucoup d'arbres de chaque côté. (Ⅱ) - ἐν τη̨̃ ἐπιστροφη̨̃ μου καὶ ἰδοὺ ἐπὶ του̃ χείλους του̃ ποταμου̃ δένδρα πολλὰ σφόδρα ἔνθεν καὶ ἔνθεν (Ⅲ) - Cumque me convertissem, ecce in ripa torrentis ligna multa nimis ex utraque parte. (Ⅳ) - 7 ׃47 בשובני והנה אל שפת הנחל עץ רב מאד מזה ומזה (Ⅴ)

Then said he unto me, These waters issue out toward the east country, and go down into the desert, and go into the sea: which being brought forth into the sea, the waters shall be healed.
- Il me dit: Cette eau coulera vers le district oriental, descendra dans la plaine, et entrera dans la mer; lorsqu'elle se sera jetée dans la mer, les eaux de la mer deviendront saines. (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἰ̃πεν πρός με τὸ ὕδωρ του̃το τὸ ἐκπορευόμενον εἰς τὴν Γαλιλαίαν τὴν πρὸς ἀνατολὰς καὶ κατέβαινεν ἐπὶ τὴν 'Αραβίαν καὶ ἤρχετο ἕως ἐπὶ τὴν θάλασσαν ἐπὶ τὸ ὕδωρ τη̃ς διεκβολη̃ς καὶ ὑγιάσει τὰ ὕδατα (Ⅲ) - Et ait ad me : Aquæ istæ quæ egrediuntur ad tumulos sabuli orientalis, et descendunt ad plana deserti, intrabunt mare et exibunt : et sanabuntur aquæ. (Ⅳ) - 8 ׃47 ויאמר אלי המים האלה יוצאים אל הגלילה הקדמונה וירדו על הערבה ובאו הימה אל הימה המוצאים *ונרפאו **ונרפו המים (Ⅴ)

And it shall come to pass, that every thing that liveth, which moveth, whithersoever the rivers shall come, shall live: and there shall be a very great multitude of fish, because these waters shall come thither: for they shall be healed; and every thing shall live whither the river cometh.
- Tout être vivant qui se meut vivra partout où le torrent coulera, et il y aura une grande quantité de poissons; car là où cette eau arrivera, les eaux deviendront saines, et tout vivra partout où parviendra le torrent. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἔσται πα̃σα ψυχὴ τω̃ν ζώ̨ων τω̃ν ἐκζεόντων ἐπὶ πάντα ἐφ' ἃ ἂν ἐπέλθη̨ ἐκει̃ ὁ ποταμός ζήσεται καὶ ἔσται ἐκει̃ ἰχθὺς πολὺς σφόδρα ὅτι ἥκει ἐκει̃ τὸ ὕδωρ του̃το καὶ ὑγιάσει καὶ ζήσεται πα̃ν ἐφ' ὃ ἂν ἐπέλθη̨ ὁ ποταμὸς ἐκει̃ ζήσεται (Ⅲ) - Et omnis anima vivens quæ serpit quocumque venerit torrens, vivet : et erunt pisces multi satis, postquam venerint illuc aquæ istæ : et sanabuntur et vivent omnia ad quæ venerit torrens. (Ⅳ) - 9 ׃47 והיה כל נפש חיה אשר ישרץ אל כל אשר יבוא שם נחלים יחיה והיה הדגה רבה מאד כי באו שמה המים האלה וירפאו וחי כל אשר יבוא שמה הנחל (Ⅴ)

And it shall come to pass, that the fishers shall stand upon it from Engedi even unto Eneglaim; they shall be a place to spread forth nets; their fish shall be according to their kinds, as the fish of the great sea, exceeding many.
- Des pêcheurs se tiendront sur ses bords; depuis En Guédi jusqu'à En Églaïm, on étendra les filets; il y aura des poissons de diverses espèces, comme les poissons de la grande mer, et ils seront très nombreux. (Ⅱ) - καὶ στήσονται ἐκει̃ ἁλεει̃ς ἀπὸ Αινγαδιν ἕως Αιναγαλιμ ψυγμὸς σαγηνω̃ν ἔσται καθ' αὑτὴν ἔσται καὶ οἱ ἰχθύες αὐτη̃ς ὡς οἱ ἰχθύες τη̃ς θαλάσσης τη̃ς μεγάλης πλη̃θος πολὺ σφόδρα (Ⅲ) - Et stabunt super illas piscatores : ab Engaddi usque ad Engallim siccatio sagenarum erit : plurimæ species erunt piscium ejus, sicut pisces maris magni, multitudinis nimiæ. (Ⅳ) - 10 ׃47 והיה *יעמדו **עמדו עליו דוגים מעין גדי ועד עין עגלים משטוח לחרמים יהיו למינה תהיה דגתם כדגת הים הגדול רבה מאד (Ⅴ)

But the miry places thereof and the marishes thereof shall not be healed; they shall be given to salt.
- Ses marais et ses fosses ne seront point assainis, ils seront abandonnés au sel. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐν τη̨̃ διεκβολη̨̃ αὐτου̃ καὶ ἐν τη̨̃ ἐπιστροφη̨̃ αὐτου̃ καὶ ἐν τη̨̃ ὑπεράρσει αὐτου̃ οὐ μὴ ὑγιάσωσιν εἰς ἅλας δέδονται (Ⅲ) - In littoribus autem ejus et in palustribus, non sanabuntur, quia in salinas dabuntur. (Ⅳ) - 11 ׃47 *בצאתו **בצאתיו וגבאיו ולא ירפאו למלח נתנו (Ⅴ)

And by the river upon the bank thereof, on this side and on that side, shall grow all trees for meat, whose leaf shall not fade, neither shall the fruit thereof be consumed: it shall bring forth new fruit according to his months, because their waters they issued out of the sanctuary: and the fruit thereof shall be for meat, and the leaf thereof for medicine.
- Sur le torrent, sur ses bords de chaque côté, croîtront toutes sortes d'arbres fruitiers. Leur feuillage ne se flétrira point, et leurs fruits n'auront point de fin, ils mûriront tous les mois, parce que les eaux sortiront du sanctuaire. Leurs fruits serviront de nourriture, et leurs feuilles de remède. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐπὶ του̃ ποταμου̃ ἀναβήσεται ἐπὶ του̃ χείλους αὐτου̃ ἔνθεν καὶ ἔνθεν πα̃ν ξύλον βρώσιμον οὐ μὴ παλαιωθη̨̃ ἐπ' αὐτου̃ οὐδὲ μὴ ἐκλίπη̨ ὁ καρπὸς αὐτου̃ τη̃ς καινότητος αὐτου̃ πρωτοβολήσει διότι τὰ ὕδατα αὐτω̃ν ἐκ τω̃ν ἁγίων ταυ̃τα ἐκπορεύεται καὶ ἔσται ὁ καρπὸς αὐτω̃ν εἰς βρω̃σιν καὶ ἀνάβασις αὐτω̃ν εἰς ὑγίειαν (Ⅲ) - Et super torrentem orietur in ripis ejus, ex utraque parte, omne lignum pomiferum : non defluet folium ex eo, et non deficiet fructus ejus : per singulos menses afferet primitiva, quia aquæ ejus de sanctuario egredientur : et erunt fructus ejus in cibum, et folia ejus ad medicinam.\ (Ⅳ) - 12 ׃47 ועל הנחל יעלה על שפתו מזה ומזה כל עץ מאכל לא יבול עלהו ולא יתם פריו לחדשיו יבכר כי מימיו מן המקדש המה יוצאים *והיו **והיה פריו למאכל ועלהו לתרופה ס (Ⅴ)

Thus saith the Lord GOD; This shall be the border, whereby ye shall inherit the land according to the twelve tribes of Israel: Joseph shall have two portions.
- Ainsi parle le Seigneur, l'Éternel: Voici les limites du pays que vous distribuerez en héritage aux douze tribus d'Israël. Joseph aura deux parts. (Ⅱ) - τάδε λέγει κύριος θεός ταυ̃τα τὰ ὅρια κατακληρονομήσετε τη̃ς γη̃ς ται̃ς δώδεκα φυλαι̃ς τω̃ν υἱω̃ν Ισραηλ πρόσθεσις σχοινίσματος (Ⅲ) - Hæc dicit Dominus Deus : Hic est terminus in quo possidebitis terram in duodecim tribubus Israël : quia Joseph duplicem funiculum habet. (Ⅳ) - 13 ׃47 כה אמר אדני יהוה גה גבול אשר תתנחלו את הארץ לשני עשר שבטי ישראל יוסף חבלים (Ⅴ)

And ye shall inherit it, one as well as another: concerning the which I lifted up mine hand to give it unto your fathers: and this land shall fall unto you for inheritance.
- Vous en aurez la possession l'un comme l'autre; car j'ai juré, la main levée, de le donner à vos pères. Ce pays vous tombera donc en partage. (Ⅱ) - καὶ κατακληρονομήσετε αὐτὴν ἕκαστος καθὼς ὁ ἀδελφὸς αὐτου̃ εἰς ἣν ἠ̃ρα τὴν χει̃ρά μου του̃ δου̃ναι αὐτὴν τοι̃ς πατράσιν αὐτω̃ν καὶ πεσει̃ται ἡ γη̃ αὕτη ὑμι̃ν ἐν κληρονομία̨ (Ⅲ) - Possidebitis autem eam singuli æque ut frater suus, super quam levavi manum meam ut darem patribus vestris : et cadet terra hæc vobis in possessionem. (Ⅳ) - 14 ׃47 ונחלתם אותה איש כאחיו אשר נשאתי את ידי לתתה לאבתיכם ונפלה הארץ הזאת לכם בנחלה (Ⅴ)

And this shall be the border of the land toward the north side, from the great sea, the way of Hethlon, as men go to Zedad;

Du côté septentrional, depuis la grande mer, le chemin de Hethlon jusqu'à Tsedad, (Ⅱ) - καὶ ταυ̃τα τὰ ὅρια τη̃ς γη̃ς πρὸς βορρα̃ν ἀπὸ τη̃ς θαλάσσης τη̃ς μεγάλης τη̃ς καταβαινούσης καὶ περισχιζούσης τη̃ς εἰσόδου Ημαθ Σεδδαδα (Ⅲ) - Hic est autem terminus terræ : ad plagam septentrionalem, a mari magno via Hethalon, venientibus Sedada, (Ⅳ) - 15 ׃47 וזה גבול הארץ לפאת צפונה מן הים הגדול הדרך חתלן לבוא צדדה (Ⅴ)

Hamath, Berothah, Sibraim, which is between the border of Damascus and the border of Hamath; Hazarhatticon, which is by the coast of Hauran.
- Hamath, Bérotha, Sibraïm, entre la frontière de Damas et la frontière de Hamath, Hatzer Hatthicon, vers la frontière de Havran; (Ⅱ) - Βηρωθα Σεβραιμ Ηλιαμ ἀνὰ μέσον ὁρίων Δαμασκου̃ καὶ ἀνὰ μέσον ὁρίων Ημαθ αὐλὴ του̃ Σαυναν αἵ εἰσιν ἐπάνω τω̃ν ὁρίων Αυρανίτιδος (Ⅲ) - Emath, Berotha, Sabarim, quæ est inter terminum Damasci et confinium Emath, domus Tichon, quæ est juxta terminum Auran. (Ⅳ) - 16 ׃47 חמת ברותה סברים אשר בין גבול דמשק ובין גבול חמת חצר התיכון אשר אל גבול חורן (Ⅴ)

And the border from the sea shall be Hazarenan, the border of Damascus, and the north northward, and the border of Hamath. And this is the north side.
- ainsi la limite sera, depuis la mer, Hatsar Énon, la frontière de Damas, Tsaphon au nord, et la frontière de Hamath: ce sera le côté septentrional. (Ⅱ) - ταυ̃τα τὰ ὅρια ἀπὸ τη̃ς θαλάσσης ἀπὸ τη̃ς αὐλη̃ς του̃ Αιναν ὅρια Δαμασκου̃ καὶ τὰ πρὸς βορρα̃ν (Ⅲ) - Et erit terminus a mari usque ad atrium Enon, terminus Damasci : et ab aquilone ad aquilonem, terminus Emath plaga septentrionalis. (Ⅳ) - 17 ׃47 והיה גבול מן הים חצר עינון גבול דמשק וצפון צפונה וגבול חמת ואת פאת צפון (Ⅴ)

And the east side ye shall measure from Hauran, and from Damascus, and from Gilead, and from the land of Israel by Jordan, from the border unto the east sea. And this is the east side.
- Le côté oriental sera le Jourdain, entre Havran, Damas et Galaad, et le pays d'Israël; vous mesurerez depuis la limite septentrionale jusqu'à la mer orientale: ce sera le côté oriental. (Ⅱ) - καὶ τὰ πρὸς ἀνατολὰς ἀνὰ μέσον τη̃ς Αυρανίτιδος καὶ ἀνὰ μέσον Δαμασκου̃ καὶ ἀνὰ μέσον τη̃ς Γαλααδίτιδος καὶ ἀνὰ μέσον τη̃ς γη̃ς του̃ Ισραηλ ὁ Ιορδάνης διορίζει ἐπὶ τὴν θάλασσαν τὴν πρὸς ἀνατολὰς Φοινικω̃νος ταυ̃τα τὰ πρὸς ἀνατολάς (Ⅲ) - Porro plaga orientalis de medio Auran, et de medio Damasci, et de medio Galaad, et de medio terræ Israël, Jordanis disterminans ad mare orientale. Metiemini etiam plagam orientalem. (Ⅳ) - 18 ׃47 ופאת קדים מבין חורן ומבין דמשק ומבין הגלעד ומבין ארץ ישראל הירדן מגבול על הים הקדמוני תמדו ואת פאת קדימה (Ⅴ)

And the south side southward, from Tamar even to the waters of strife in Kadesh, the river to the great sea. And this is the south side southward.
- Le côté méridional, au midi, ira depuis Thamar jusqu'aux eaux de Meriba à Kadès, jusqu'au torrent vers la grande mer: ce sera le côté méridional. (Ⅱ) - καὶ τὰ πρὸς νότον καὶ λίβα ἀπὸ Θαιμαν καὶ Φοινικω̃νος ἕως ὕδατος Μαριμωθ Καδης παρεκτει̃νον ἐπὶ τὴν θάλασσαν τὴν μεγάλην του̃το τὸ μέρος νότος καὶ λίψ (Ⅲ) - Plaga autem australis meridiana, a Thamar usque ad aquas contradictionis Cades, et torrens usque ad mare magnum : et hæc est plaga ad meridiem australis. (Ⅳ) - 19 ׃47 ופאת נגב תימנה מתמר עד מי מריבות קדש נחלה אל הים הגדול ואת פאת תימנה נגבה (Ⅴ)

The west side also shall be the great sea from the border, till a man come over against Hamath. This is the west side.
- Le côté occidental sera la grande mer, depuis la limite jusque vis-à-vis de Hamath: ce sera le côté occidental. (Ⅱ) - του̃το τὸ μέρος τη̃ς θαλάσσης τη̃ς μεγάλης ὁρίζει ἕως κατέναντι τη̃ς εἰσόδου Ημαθ ἕως εἰσόδου αὐτου̃ ταυ̃τά ἐστιν τὰ πρὸς θάλασσαν Ημαθ (Ⅲ) - Et plaga maris, mare magnum a confinio per directum, donec venias Emath : hæc est plaga maris.\ (Ⅳ) - 20 ׃47 ופאת ים הים הגדול מגבול עד נכח לבוא חמת זאת פאת ים (Ⅴ)

So shall ye divide this land unto you according to the tribes of Israel.
- Vous partagerez ce pays entre vous, selon les tribus d'Israël. (Ⅱ) - καὶ διαμερίσετε τὴν γη̃ν ταύτην αὐτοι̃ς ται̃ς φυλαι̃ς του̃ Ισραηλ (Ⅲ) - Et dividetis terram istam vobis per tribus Israël : (Ⅳ) - 21 ׃47 וחלקתם את הארץ הזאת לכם לשבטי ישראל (Ⅴ)

And it shall come to pass, that ye shall divide it by lot for an inheritance unto you, and to the strangers that sojourn among you, which shall beget children among you: and they shall be unto you as born in the country among the children of Israel; they shall have inheritance with you among the tribes of Israel.
- Vous le diviserez en héritage par le sort pour vous et pour les étrangers qui séjourneront au milieu de vous, qui engendreront des enfants au milieu de vous; vous les regarderez comme indigènes parmi les enfants d'Israël; ils partageront au sort l'héritage avec vous parmi les tribus d'Israël. (Ⅱ) - βαλει̃τε αὐτὴν ἐν κλήρω̨ ὑμι̃ν καὶ τοι̃ς προσηλύτοις τοι̃ς παροικου̃σιν ἐν μέσω̨ ὑμω̃ν οἵτινες ἐγέννησαν υἱοὺς ἐν μέσω̨ ὑμω̃ν καὶ ἔσονται ὑμι̃ν ὡς αὐτόχθονες ἐν τοι̃ς υἱοι̃ς του̃ Ισραηλ μεθ' ὑμω̃ν φάγονται ἐν κληρονομία̨ ἐν μέσω̨ τω̃ν φυλω̃ν του̃ Ισραηλ (Ⅲ) - et mittetis eam in hæreditatem vobis, et advenis qui accesserint ad vos, qui genuerint filios in medio vestrum : et erunt vobis sicut indigenæ inter filios Israël : vobiscum divident possessionem in medio tribuum Israël. (Ⅳ) - 22 ׃47 והיה תפלו אותה בנחלה לכם ולהגרים הגרים בתוככם אשר הולדו בנים בתוככם והיו לכם כאזרח בבני ישראל אתכם יפלו בנחלה בתוך שבטי ישראל (Ⅴ)

And it shall come to pass, that in what tribe the stranger sojourneth, there shall ye give him his inheritance, saith the Lord GOD.
- Vous donnerez à l'étranger son héritage dans la tribu où il séjournera, dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἔσονται ἐν φυλη̨̃ προσηλύτων ἐν τοι̃ς προσηλύτοις τοι̃ς μετ' αὐτω̃ν ἐκει̃ δώσετε κληρονομίαν αὐτοι̃ς λέγει κύριος θεός (Ⅲ) - In tribu autem quacumque fuerit advena, ibi dabitis possessionem illi, ait Dominus Deus. (Ⅳ) - 23 ׃47 והיה בשבט אשר גר הגר אתו שם תתנו נחלתו נאם אדני יהוה ס (Ⅴ)
