48. 1

Now these are the names of the tribes. From the north end to the coast of the way of Hethlon, as one goeth to Hamath, Hazarenan, the border of Damascus northward, to the coast of Hamath; for these are his sides east and west; a portion for Dan.

- Voici les noms des tribus. Depuis l'extrémité septentrionale, le long du chemin de Hethlon à Hamath, Hatsar Énon, la frontière de Damas au nord vers Hamath, de l'orient à l'occident: Dan, une tribu. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ταυ̃τα τὰ ὀνόματα τω̃ν φυλω̃ν ἀπὸ τη̃ς ἀρχη̃ς τη̃ς πρὸς βορρα̃ν κατὰ τὸ μέρος τη̃ς καταβάσεως του̃ περισχίζοντος ἐπὶ τὴν εἴσοδον τη̃ς Ημαθ αὐλη̃ς του̃ Αιναν ὅριον Δαμασκου̃ πρὸς βορρα̃ν κατὰ μέρος Ημαθ αὐλη̃ς καὶ ἔσται αὐτοι̃ς τὰ πρὸς ἀνατολὰς ἕως πρὸς θάλασσαν Δαν μία (Ⅲ)

- Et hæc nomina tribuum a finibus aquilonis, juxta viam Hethalon, pergentibus Emath, atrium Enan terminus Damasci ad aquilonem, juxta viam Emath : et erit ei plaga orientalis mare, Dan una. (Ⅳ)

And by the border of Dan, from the east side unto the west side, a portion for Asher.

And by the border of Asher, from the east side even unto the west side, a portion for Naphtali.

And by the border of Naphtali, from the east side unto the west side, a portion for Manasseh.

And by the border of Reuben, from the east side unto the west side, a portion for Judah.

And by the border of Judah, from the east side unto the west side, shall be the offering which ye shall offer of five and twenty thousand reeds in breadth, and in length as one of the other parts, from the east side unto the west side: and the sanctuary shall be in the midst of it.

- Sur la frontière de Juda, de l'orient à l'occident, sera la portion que vous prélèverez, large de vingt-cinq mille cannes et longue comme l'une des parts de l'orient à l'occident; et le sanctuaire sera au milieu. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἀπὸ τω̃ν ὁρίων Ιουδα ἀπὸ τω̃ν πρὸς ἀνατολὰς ἕως τω̃ν πρὸς θάλασσαν ἔσται ἡ ἀπαρχὴ του̃ ἀφορισμου̃ πέντε καὶ εἴκοσι χιλιάδες εὐ̃ρος καὶ μη̃κος καθὼς μία τω̃ν μερίδων ἀπὸ τω̃ν πρὸς ἀνατολὰς καὶ ἕως τω̃ν πρὸς θάλασσαν καὶ ἔσται τὸ ἅγιον ἐν μέσω̨ αὐτω̃ν (Ⅲ)

- Et super terminum Juda, a plaga orientali usque ad plagam maris, erunt primitiæ quas separabitis, viginti quinque millibus latitudinis et longitudinis, sicuti singulæ partes a plaga orientali usque ad plagam maris : et erit sanctuarium in medio ejus. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 8 ׃48 ועל גבול יהודה מפאת קדים עד פאת ימה תהיה התרומה אשר תרימו חמשה ועשרים אלף רחב וארך כאחד החלקים מפאת קדימה עד פאת ימה והיה המקדש בתוכו ‬ (Ⅴ)

48. 9

The oblation that ye shall offer unto the LORD shall be of five and twenty thousand in length, and of ten thousand in breadth.

- La portion que vous prélèverez pour l'Éternel aura vingt-cinq mille cannes de longueur et dix mille de largeur. (Ⅱ)

- ἀπαρχή ἣν ἀφοριου̃σι τω̨̃ κυρίω̨ μη̃κος πέντε καὶ εἴκοσι χιλιάδες καὶ εὐ̃ρος εἴκοσι καὶ πέντε χιλιάδες (Ⅲ)

- Primitiæ quas separabitis Domino, longitudo viginti quinque millibus, et latitudo decem millibus. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 9 ׃48 התרומה אשר תרימו ליהוה ארך חמשה ועשרים אלף ורחב עשרת אלפים ‬ (Ⅴ)

48. 10

And for them, even for the priests, shall be this holy oblation; toward the north five and twenty thousand in length, and toward the west ten thousand in breadth, and toward the east ten thousand in breadth, and toward the south five and twenty thousand in length: and the sanctuary of the LORD shall be in the midst thereof.

- C'est aux sacrificateurs qu'appartiendra cette portion sainte: vingt-cinq mille cannes au septentrion, dix mille en largeur à l'occident, dix mille en largeur à l'orient, et vingt-cinq mille en longueur au midi; et le sanctuaire de l'Éternel sera au milieu. (Ⅱ)

- τούτων ἔσται ἡ ἀπαρχὴ τω̃ν ἁγίων τοι̃ς ἱερευ̃σιν πρὸς βορρα̃ν πέντε καὶ εἴκοσι χιλιάδες καὶ πρὸς θάλασσαν πλάτος δέκα χιλιάδες καὶ πρὸς ἀνατολὰς πλάτος δέκα χιλιάδες καὶ πρὸς νότον μη̃κος εἴκοσι καὶ πέντε χιλιάδες καὶ τὸ ὄρος τω̃ν ἁγίων ἔσται ἐν μέσω̨ αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ)

- Hæ autem erunt primitiæ sanctuarii sacerdotum, ad aquilonem longitudinis viginti quinque millia, et ad mare latitudinis decem millia, sed et ad orientem latitudinis decem millia, et ad meridiem longitudinis viginti quinque millia : et erit sanctuarium Domini in medio ejus. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 10 ׃48 ולאלה תהיה תרומת הקדש לכהנים צפונה חמשה ועשרים אלף וימה רחב עשרת אלפים וקדימה רחב עשרת אלפים ונגבה ארך חמשה ועשרים אלף והיה מקדש יהוה בתוכו ‬ (Ⅴ)

48. 11

It shall be for the priests that are sanctified of the sons of Zadok; which have kept my charge, which went not astray when the children of Israel went astray, as the Levites went astray.

- Elle appartiendra aux sacrificateurs consacrés, aux fils de Tsadok, qui ont fait le service de mon sanctuaire, qui ne se sont point égarés, lorsque les enfants d'Israël s'égaraient, comme s'égaraient les Lévites. (Ⅱ)

- τοι̃ς ἱερευ̃σι τοι̃ς ἡγιασμένοις υἱοι̃ς Σαδδουκ τοι̃ς φυλάσσουσι τὰς φυλακὰς του̃ οἴκου οἵτινες οὐκ ἐπλανήθησαν ἐν τη̨̃ πλανήσει υἱω̃ν Ισραηλ ὃν τρόπον ἐπλανήθησαν οἱ Λευι̃ται (Ⅲ)

- Sacerdotibus sanctuarium erit de filiis Sadoc, qui custodierunt cæremonias meas, et non erraverunt cum errarent filii Israël, sicut erraverunt et Levitæ. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 11 ׃48 לכהנים המקדש מבני צדוק אשר שמרו משמרתי אשר לא תעו בתעות בני ישראל כאשר תעו הלוים ס‬ (Ⅴ)

48. 12

And this oblation of the land that is offered shall be unto them a thing most holy by the border of the Levites.

- Elle leur appartiendra comme portion très sainte, prélevée sur la portion du pays qui aura été prélevée, à côté de la limite des Lévites. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἔσται αὐτοι̃ς ἡ ἀπαρχὴ δεδομένη ἐκ τω̃ν ἀπαρχω̃ν τη̃ς γη̃ς ἅγιον ἁγίων ἀπὸ τω̃ν ὁρίων τω̃ν Λευιτω̃ν (Ⅲ)

- Et erunt eis primitiæ de primitiis terræ Sanctum sanctorum, juxta terminum Levitarum. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 12 ׃48 והיתה להם תרומיה מתרומת הארץ קדש קדשים אל גבול הלוים ‬ (Ⅴ)

48. 13

And over against the border of the priests the Levites shall have five and twenty thousand in length, and ten thousand in breadth: all the length shall be five and twenty thousand, and the breadth ten thousand.

- Les Lévites auront, parallèlement à la limite des sacrificateurs, vingt-cinq mille cannes en longueur et dix mille en largeur, vingt-cinq mille pour toute la longueur et dix mille pour la largeur. (Ⅱ)

- τοι̃ς δὲ Λευίταις τὰ ἐχόμενα τω̃ν ὁρίων τω̃ν ἱερέων μη̃κος πέντε καὶ εἴκοσι χιλιάδες καὶ εὐ̃ρος δέκα χιλιάδες πα̃ν τὸ μη̃κος πέντε καὶ εἴκοσι χιλιάδες καὶ εὐ̃ρος εἴκοσι χιλιάδες (Ⅲ)

- Sed et Levitis similiter, juxta fines sacerdotum, viginti quinque millia longitudinis, et latitudinis decem millia. Omnis longitudo viginti et quinque millium, et latitudo decem millium. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 13 ׃48 והלוים לעמת גבול הכהנים חמשה ועשרים אלף ארך ורחב עשרת אלפים כל ארך חמשה ועשרים אלף ורחב עשרת אלפים ‬ (Ⅴ)

48. 14

And they shall not sell of it, neither exchange, nor alienate the firstfruits of the land: for it is holy unto the LORD.

- Ils n'en pourront rien vendre ni échanger; et les prémices du pays ne seront point aliénées, car elles sont consacrées à l'Éternel. (Ⅱ)

- οὐ πραθήσεται ἐξ αὐτου̃ οὐδὲ καταμετρηθήσεται οὐδὲ ἀφαιρεθήσεται τὰ πρωτογενήματα τη̃ς γη̃ς ὅτι ἅγιόν ἐστιν τω̨̃ κυρίω̨ (Ⅲ)

- Et non venundabunt ex eo, neque mutabunt : neque transferentur primitiæ terræ, quia sanctificatæ sunt Domino.\ (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 14 ׃48 ולא ימכרו ממנו ולא ימר ולא *יעבור **יעביר ראשית הארץ כי קדש ליהוה ‬ (Ⅴ)

48. 15

And the five thousand, that are left in the breadth over against the five and twenty thousand, shall be a profane place for the city, for dwelling, and for suburbs: and the city shall be in the midst thereof.

- Les cinq mille cannes qui resteront en largeur sur les vingt-cinq mille seront destinées à la ville, pour les habitations et la banlieue; et la ville sera au milieu. (Ⅱ)

- τὰς δὲ πέντε χιλιάδας τὰς περισσὰς ἐπὶ τω̨̃ πλάτει ἐπὶ ται̃ς πέντε καὶ εἴκοσι χιλιάσιν προτείχισμα ἔσται τη̨̃ πόλει εἰς τὴν κατοικίαν καὶ εἰς διάστημα αὐτου̃ καὶ ἔσται ἡ πόλις ἐν μέσω̨ αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ)

- Quinque millia autem quæ supersunt in latitudine per viginti quinque millia, profana erunt urbis in habitaculum et in suburbana : et erit civitas in medio ejus. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 15 ׃48 וחמשת אלפים הנותר ברחב על פני חמשה ועשרים אלף חל הוא לעיר למושב ולמגרש והיתה העיר *בתוכה **בתוכו ‬ (Ⅴ)

48. 16

And these shall be the measures thereof; the north side four thousand and five hundred, and the south side four thousand and five hundred, and on the east side four thousand and five hundred, and the west side four thousand and five hundred.

- En voici les mesures: du côté septentrional quatre mille cinq cents, du côté méridional quatre mille cinq cents, du côté oriental quatre mille cinq cents, et du côté occidental quatre mille cinq cents. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ταυ̃τα τὰ μέτρα αὐτη̃ς ἀπὸ τω̃ν πρὸς βορρα̃ν πεντακόσιοι καὶ τετρακισχίλιοι καὶ ἀπὸ τω̃ν πρὸς νότον πεντακόσιοι καὶ τέσσαρες χιλιάδες καὶ ἀπὸ τω̃ν πρὸς ἀνατολὰς πεντακόσιοι καὶ τέσσαρες χιλιάδες καὶ ἀπὸ τω̃ν πρὸς θάλασσαν τετρακισχιλίους πεντακοσίους (Ⅲ)

- Et hæ mensuræ ejus : ad plagam septentrionalem, quingenta et quatuor millia : et ad plagam meridianam, quingenta et quatuor millia : et ad plagam orientalem, quingenta et quatuor millia : et ad plagam occidentalem, quingenta et quatuor millia. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 16 ׃48 ואלה מדותיה פאת צפון חמש מאות וארבעת אלפים ופאת נגב חמש *חמש מאות וארבעת אלפים ומפאת קדים חמש מאות וארבעת אלפים ופאת ימה חמש מאות וארבעת אלפים ‬ (Ⅴ)

48. 17

And the suburbs of the city shall be toward the north two hundred and fifty, and toward the south two hundred and fifty, and toward the east two hundred and fifty, and toward the west two hundred and fifty.

- La ville aura une banlieue de deux cent cinquante au nord, de deux cent cinquante au midi, de deux cent cinquante à l'orient, et de deux cent (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἔσται διάστημα τη̨̃ πόλει πρὸς βορρα̃ν διακόσιοι πεντήκοντα καὶ πρὸς νότον διακόσιοι καὶ πεντήκοντα καὶ πρὸς ἀνατολὰς διακόσιοι πεντήκοντα καὶ πρὸς θάλασσαν διακόσιοι πεντήκοντα (Ⅲ)

- Erunt autem suburbana civitatis ad aquilonem, ducenta quinquaginta : et ad meridiem, ducenta quinquaginta : et ad orientem, ducenta quinquaginta : et ad mare, ducenta quinquaginta. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 17 ׃48 והיה מגרש לעיר צפונה חמשים ומאתים ונגבה חמשים ומאתים וקדימה חמשים ומאתים וימה חמשים ומאתים ‬ (Ⅴ)

48. 18

And the residue in length over against the oblation of the holy portion shall be ten thousand eastward, and ten thousand westward: and it shall be over against the oblation of the holy portion; and the increase thereof shall be for food unto them that serve the city.

- Le reste sur la longueur, parallèlement à la portion sainte, dix mille à l'orient et dix mille à l'occident, parallèlement à la portion sainte, formera les revenus destinés à l'entretien de ceux qui travailleront pour la ville. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ τὸ περισσὸν του̃ μήκους τὸ ἐχόμενον τω̃ν ἀπαρχω̃ν τω̃ν ἁγίων δέκα χιλιάδες πρὸς ἀνατολὰς καὶ δέκα χιλιάδες πρὸς θάλασσαν καὶ ἔσονται αἱ ἀπαρχαὶ του̃ ἁγίου καὶ ἔσται τὰ γενήματα αὐτη̃ς εἰς ἄρτους τοι̃ς ἐργαζομένοις τὴν πόλιν (Ⅲ)

- Quod autem reliquum fuerit in longitudine secundum primitias sanctuarii, decem millia in orientem, et decem millia in occidentem, erunt sicut primitiæ sanctuarii : et erunt fruges ejus in panes his qui serviunt civitati. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 18 ׃48 והנותר בארך לעמת תרומת הקדש עשרת אלפים קדימה ועשרת אלפים ימה והיה לעמת תרומת הקדש והיתה *תבואתה **תבואתו ללחם לעבדי העיר ‬ (Ⅴ)

48. 19

And they that serve the city shall serve it out of all the tribes of Israel.

- Le sol en sera cultivé par ceux de toutes les tribus d'Israël qui travailleront pour la ville. (Ⅱ)

- οἱ δὲ ἐργαζόμενοι τὴν πόλιν ἐργω̃νται αὐτὴν ἐκ πασω̃ν τω̃ν φυλω̃ν του̃ Ισραηλ (Ⅲ)

- Servientes autem civitati, operabuntur ex omnibus tribubus Israël. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 19 ׃48 והעבד העיר יעבדוהו מכל שבטי ישראל ‬ (Ⅴ)

48. 20

All the oblation shall be five and twenty thousand by five and twenty thousand: ye shall offer the holy oblation foursquare, with the possession of the city.

- Toute la portion prélevée sera de vingt-cinq mille cannes en longueur sur vingt-cinq mille en largeur; vous en séparerez un carré pour la propriété de la ville. (Ⅱ)

- πα̃σα ἡ ἀπαρχὴ πέντε καὶ εἴκοσι χιλιάδες ἐπὶ πέντε καὶ εἴκοσι χιλιάδας τετράγωνον ἀφοριει̃τε αὐτου̃ τὴν ἀπαρχὴν του̃ ἁγίου ἀπὸ τη̃ς κατασχέσεως τη̃ς πόλεως (Ⅲ)

- Omnes primitiæ viginti quinque millium, per viginti quinque millia in quadrum, separabuntur in primitias sanctuarii, et in possessionem civitatis.\ (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 20 ׃48 כל התרומה חמשה ועשרים אלף בחמשה ועשרים אלף רביעית תרימו את תרומת הקדש אל אחזת העיר ‬ (Ⅴ)

48. 21

And the residue shall be for the prince, on the one side and on the other of the holy oblation, and of the possession of the city, over against the five and twenty thousand of the oblation toward the east border, and westward over against the five and twenty thousand toward the west border, over against the portions for the prince: and it shall be the holy oblation; and the sanctuary of the house shall be in the midst thereof.

- Ce qui restera sera pour le prince, aux deux côtés de la portion sainte et de la propriété de la ville, le long des vingt-cinq mille cannes de la portion sainte jusqu'à la limite de l'orient, et à l'occident le long des vingt-cinq mille cannes vers la limite de l'occident, parallèlement aux parts. C'est là ce qui appartiendra au prince; et la portion sainte et le sanctuaire de la maison seront au milieu. (Ⅱ)

- τὸ δὲ περισσὸν τω̨̃ ἀφηγουμένω̨ ἐκ τούτου καὶ ἐκ τούτου ἀπὸ τω̃ν ἀπαρχω̃ν του̃ ἁγίου καὶ εἰς τὴν κατάσχεσιν τη̃ς πόλεως ἐπὶ πέντε καὶ εἴκοσι χιλιάδας μη̃κος ἕως τω̃ν ὁρίων τω̃ν πρὸς ἀνατολὰς καὶ πρὸς θάλασσαν ἐπὶ πέντε καὶ εἴκοσι χιλιάδας ἕως τω̃ν ὁρίων τω̃ν πρὸς θάλασσαν ἐχόμενα τω̃ν μερίδων του̃ ἀφηγουμένου καὶ ἔσται ἡ ἀπαρχὴ τω̃ν ἁγίων καὶ τὸ ἁγίασμα του̃ οἴκου ἐν μέσω̨ αὐτη̃ς (Ⅲ)

- Quod autem reliquum fuerit, principis erit ex omni parte primitiarum sanctuarii, et possessionis civitatis e regione viginti quinque millium primitiarum usque ad terminum orientalem : sed et ad mare, e regione viginti quinque millium, usque ad terminum maris, similiter in partibus principis erit : et erunt primitiæ sanctuarii, et sanctuarium templi, in medio ejus. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 21 ׃48 והנותר לנשיא מזה ומזה לתרומת הקדש ולאחזת העיר אל פני חמשה ועשרים אלף תרומה עד גבול קדימה וימה על פני חמשה ועשרים אלף על גבול ימה לעמת חלקים לנשיא והיתה תרומת הקדש ומקדש הבית *בתוכה **בתוכו ‬ (Ⅴ)

48. 22

Moreover from the possession of the Levites, and from the possession of the city, being in the midst of that which is the prince's, between the border of Judah and the border of Benjamin, shall be for the prince.

- Ainsi ce qui appartiendra au prince sera l'espace compris depuis la propriété des Lévites et depuis la propriété de la ville; ce qui sera entre la limite de Juda et la limite de Benjamin appartiendra au prince. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἀπὸ τη̃ς κατασχέσεως τω̃ν Λευιτω̃ν καὶ ἀπὸ τη̃ς κατασχέσεως τη̃ς πόλεως ἐν μέσω̨ τω̃ν ἀφηγουμένων ἔσται ἀνὰ μέσον τω̃ν ὁρίων Ιουδα καὶ ἀνὰ μέσον τω̃ν ὁρίων Βενιαμιν τω̃ν ἀφηγουμένων ἔσται (Ⅲ)

- De possessione autem Levitarum, et de possessione civitatis in medio partium principis, erit inter terminum Juda et inter terminum Benjamin, et ad principem pertinebit.\ (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 22 ׃48 ומאחזת הלוים ומאחזת העיר בתוך אשר לנשיא יהיה בין גבול יהודה ובין גבול בנימן לנשיא יהיה ‬ (Ⅴ)

48. 23

As for the rest of the tribes, from the east side unto the west side, Benjamin shall have a portion.

- Voici les autres tribus. De l'orient à l'occident: Benjamin, une tribu. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ τὸ περισσὸν τω̃ν φυλω̃ν ἀπὸ τω̃ν πρὸς ἀνατολὰς ἕως τω̃ν πρὸς θάλασσαν Βενιαμιν μία (Ⅲ)

- Et reliquis tribubus, a plaga orientali usque ad plagam occidentalem, Benjamin una. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 23 ׃48 ויתר השבטים מפאת קדימה עד פאת ימה בנימן אחד ‬ (Ⅴ)

48. 24

And by the border of Benjamin, from the east side unto the west side, Simeon shall have a portion.

- Sur la limite de Benjamin, de l'orient à l'occident: Siméon, une tribu. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἀπὸ τω̃ν ὁρίων τω̃ν Βενιαμιν ἀπὸ τω̃ν πρὸς ἀνατολὰς ἕως τω̃ν πρὸς θάλασσαν Συμεων μία (Ⅲ)

- Et contra terminum Benjamin, a plaga orientali usque ad plagam occidentalem, Simeon una. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 24 ׃48 ועל גבול בנימן מפאת קדימה עד פאת ימה שמעון אחד ‬ (Ⅴ)

48. 25

And by the border of Simeon, from the east side unto the west side, Issachar a portion.

- Sur la limite de Siméon, de l'orient à l'occident: Issacar, une tribu. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἀπὸ τω̃ν ὁρίων τω̃ν Συμεων ἀπὸ τω̃ν πρὸς ἀνατολὰς ἕως τω̃ν πρὸς θάλασσαν Ισσαχαρ μία (Ⅲ)

- Et super terminum Simeonis, a plaga orientali usque ad plagam occidentalem, Issachar una. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 25 ׃48 ועל גבול שמעון מפאת קדימה עד פאת ימה יששכר אחד ‬ (Ⅴ)

48. 26

And by the border of Issachar, from the east side unto the west side, Zebulun a portion.

- Sur la limite d'Issacar, de l'orient à l'occident: Zabulon, une tribu. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἀπὸ τω̃ν ὁρίων τω̃ν Ισσαχαρ ἀπὸ τω̃ν πρὸς ἀνατολὰς ἕως τω̃ν πρὸς θάλασσαν Ζαβουλων μία (Ⅲ)

- Et super terminum Issachar, a plaga orientali usque ad plagam occidentalem, Zabulon una. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 26 ׃48 ועל גבול יששכר מפאת קדימה עד פאת ימה זבולן אחד ‬ (Ⅴ)

48. 27

And by the border of Zebulun, from the east side unto the west side, Gad a portion.

- Sur la limite de Zabulon, de l'orient à l'occident: Gad, une tribu. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἀπὸ τω̃ν ὁρίων τω̃ν Ζαβουλων ἀπὸ τω̃ν πρὸς ἀνατολὰς ἕως τω̃ν πρὸς θάλασσαν Γαδ μία (Ⅲ)

- Et super terminum Zabulon, a plaga orientali usque ad plagam maris, Gad una. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 27 ׃48 ועל גבול זבולן מפאת קדמה עד פאת ימה גד אחד ‬ (Ⅴ)

48. 28

And by the border of Gad, at the south side southward, the border shall be even from Tamar unto the waters of strife in Kadesh, and to the river toward the great sea.

- Sur la limite de Gad, du côté méridional, au midi, la frontière ira depuis Thamar, jusqu'aux eaux de Meriba à Kadès, jusqu'au torrent vers la grande mer. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἀπὸ τω̃ν ὁρίων τω̃ν Γαδ ἕως τω̃ν πρὸς λίβα καὶ ἔσται τὰ ὅρια αὐτου̃ ἀπὸ Θαιμαν καὶ ὕδατος Μαριμωθ Καδης κληρονομίας ἕως τη̃ς θαλάσσης τη̃ς μεγάλης (Ⅲ)

- Et super terminum Gad, ad plagam austri in meridie : et erit finis de Thamar usque ad aquas contradictionis Cades : hæreditas contra mare magnum. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 28 ׃48 ועל גבול גד אל פאת נגב תימנה והיה גבול מתמר מי מריבת קדש נחלה על הים הגדול ‬ (Ⅴ)

48. 29

This is the land which ye shall divide by lot unto the tribes of Israel for inheritance, and these are their portions, saith the Lord GOD.

- Tel est le pays que vous diviserez en héritages par le sort pour les tribus d'Israël et telles sont leurs parts, dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel. (Ⅱ)

- αὕτη ἡ γη̃ ἣν βαλει̃τε ἐν κλήρω̨ ται̃ς φυλαι̃ς Ισραηλ καὶ οὑ̃τοι οἱ διαμερισμοὶ αὐτω̃ν λέγει κύριος θεός (Ⅲ)

- Hæc est terra quam mittetis in sortem tribubus Israël, et hæ partitiones earum, ait Dominus Deus.\ (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 29 ׃48 זאת הארץ אשר תפילו מנחלה לשבטי ישראל ואלה מחלקותם נאם אדני יהוה פ‬ (Ⅴ)

48. 30

And these are the goings out of the city on the north side, four thousand and five hundred measures.

- Voici les issues de la ville. Du côté septentrional quatre mille cinq cents cannes. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ αὑ̃ται αἱ διεκβολαὶ τη̃ς πόλεως αἱ πρὸς βορρα̃ν τετρακισχίλιοι καὶ πεντακόσιοι μέτρω̨ (Ⅲ)

- Et hi egressus civitatis : a plaga septentrionali, quingentos et quatuor millia mensurabis. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 30 ׃48 ואלה תוצאת העיר מפאת צפון חמש מאות וארבעת אלפים מדה ‬ (Ⅴ)

48. 31

And the gates of the city shall be after the names of the tribes of Israel: three gates northward; one gate of Reuben, one gate of Judah, one gate of Levi.

- et les portes de la ville d'après les noms des tribus d'Israël, trois portes au nord: la porte de Ruben, une, la porte de Juda, une, la porte de Lévi, une. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ αἱ πύλαι τη̃ς πόλεως ἐπ' ὀνόμασιν φυλω̃ν του̃ Ισραηλ πύλαι τρει̃ς πρὸς βορρα̃ν πύλη Ρουβην μία καὶ πύλη Ιουδα μία καὶ πύλη Λευι μία (Ⅲ)

- Et portæ civitatis ex nominibus tribuum Israël : portæ tres a septentrione : porta Ruben una, porta Juda una, porta Levi una. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 31 ׃48 ושערי העיר על שמות שבטי ישראל שערים שלושה צפונה שער ראובן אחד שער יהודה אחד שער לוי אחד ‬ (Ⅴ)

48. 32

And at the east side four thousand and five hundred: and three gates; and one gate of Joseph, one gate of Benjamin, one gate of Dan.

- Du côté oriental quatre mille cinq cents cannes, et trois portes: la porte de Joseph, une, la porte de Benjamin, une, la porte de Dan, une. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ τὰ πρὸς ἀνατολὰς τετρακισχίλιοι καὶ πεντακόσιοι καὶ πύλαι τρει̃ς πύλη Ιωσηφ μία καὶ πύλη Βενιαμιν μία καὶ πύλη Δαν μία (Ⅲ)

- Et ad plagam orientalem, quingentos et quatuor millia, et portæ tres : porta Joseph una, porta Benjamin una, porta Dan una. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 32 ׃48 ואל פאת קדימה חמש מאות וארבעת אלפים ושערים שלשה ושער יוסף אחד שער בנימן אחד שער דן אחד ‬ (Ⅴ)

48. 33

And at the south side four thousand and five hundred measures: and three gates; one gate of Simeon, one gate of Issachar, one gate of Zebulun.

- Du côté méridional quatre mille cinq cents cannes, et trois portes: la porte de Siméon, une, la porte d'Issacar, une, la porte de Zabulon, une. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ τὰ πρὸς νότον τετρακισχίλιοι καὶ πεντακόσιοι μέτρω̨ καὶ πύλαι τρει̃ς πύλη Συμεων μία καὶ πύλη Ισσαχαρ μία καὶ πύλη Ζαβουλων μία (Ⅲ)

- Et ad plagam meridianam, quingentos et quatuor millia metieris, et portæ tres : porta Simeonis una, porta Issachar una, porta Zabulon una. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 33 ׃48 ופאת נגבה חמש מאות וארבעת אלפים מדה ושערים שלשה שער שמעון אחד שער יששכר אחד שער זבולן אחד ‬ (Ⅴ)

48. 34

At the west side four thousand and five hundred, with their three gates; one gate of Gad, one gate of Asher, one gate of Naphtali.

- Du côté occidental quatre mille cinq cents cannes, et trois portes: la porte de Gad, une, la porte d'Aser, une, la porte de Nephthali, une. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ τὰ πρὸς θάλασσαν τετρακισχίλιοι καὶ πεντακόσιοι μέτρω̨ καὶ πύλαι τρει̃ς πύλη Γαδ μία καὶ πύλη Ασηρ μία καὶ πύλη Νεφθαλιμ μία (Ⅲ)

- Et ad plagam occidentalem, quingentos et quatuor millia, et portæ eorum tres : porta Gad una, porta Aser una, porta Nephthali una. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 34 ׃48 פאת ימה חמש מאות וארבעת אלפים שעריהם שלשה שער גד אחד שער אשר אחד שער נפתלי אחד ‬ (Ⅴ)

48. 35

It was round about eighteen thousand measures: and the name of the city from that day shall be, The LORD is there.

- Circuit: dix-huit mille cannes. Et, dès ce jour, le nom de la ville sera: l'Éternel est ici. (Ⅱ)

- κύκλωμα δέκα καὶ ὀκτὼ χιλιάδες καὶ τὸ ὄνομα τη̃ς πόλεως ἀφ' ἡ̃ς ἂν ἡμέρας γένηται ἔσται τὸ ὄνομα αὐτη̃ς (Ⅲ)

- Per circuitum, decem et octo millia : et nomen civitatis ex illa die, Dominus ibidem. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 35 ׃48 סביב שמנה עשר אלף ושם העיר מיום יהוה שמה ‬ (Ⅴ)
