Hear ye this, O priests; and hearken, ye house of Israel; and give ye ear, O house of the king; for judgment is toward you, because ye have been a snare on Mizpah, and a net spread upon Tabor.
- Écoutez ceci, sacrificateurs! Sois attentive, maison d'Israël! Prête l'oreille, maison du roi! Car c'est à vous que le jugement s'adresse, Parce que vous avez été un piège à Mitspa, Et un filet tendu sur le Thabor. (Ⅱ) - ἀκούσατε ταυ̃τα οἱ ἱερει̃ς καὶ προσέχετε οἰ̃κος Ισραηλ καὶ ὁ οἰ̃κος του̃ βασιλέως ἐνωτίζεσθε διότι πρὸς ὑμα̃ς ἐστιν τὸ κρίμα ὅτι παγὶς ἐγενήθητε τη̨̃ σκοπια̨̃ καὶ ὡς δίκτυον ἐκτεταμένον ἐπὶ τὸ ἰταβύριον (Ⅲ) - Audite hoc, sacerdotes, / et attendite, domus Israël,/ et domus regis, auscultate :/ quia vobis judicium est,/ quoniam laqueus facti estis speculationi,/ et rete expansum super Thabor./ (Ⅳ) - 1 ׃5 שמעו זאת הכהנים והקשיבו בית ישראל ובית המלך האזינו כי לכם המשפט כי פח הייתם למצפה ורשת פרושה על תבור (Ⅴ)

And the revolters are profound to make slaughter, though I have been a rebuker of them all.
- Par leurs sacrifices, les infidèles s'enfoncent dans le crime, Mais j'aurai des châtiments pour eux tous. (Ⅱ) - ὃ οἱ ἀγρεύοντες τὴν θήραν κατέπηξαν ἐγὼ δὲ παιδευτὴς ὑμω̃ν (Ⅲ) - Et victimas declinastis in profundum ;/ et ego eruditor omnium eorum./ (Ⅳ) - 2 ׃5 ושחטה שטים העמיקו ואני מוסר לכלם (Ⅴ)

I know Ephraim, and Israel is not hid from me: for now, O Ephraim, thou committest whoredom, and Israel is defiled.
- Je connais Éphraïm, Et Israël ne m'est point caché; Car maintenant, Éphraïm, tu t'es prostitué, Et Israël s'est souillé. (Ⅱ) - ἐγὼ ἔγνων τὸν Εφραιμ καὶ Ισραηλ οὐκ ἄπεστιν ἀπ' ἐμου̃ διότι νυ̃ν ἐξεπόρνευσεν Εφραιμ ἐμιάνθη Ισραηλ (Ⅲ) - Ego scio Ephraim,/ et Israël non est absconditus a me :/ quia nunc fornicatus est Ephraim ;/ contaminatus est Israël./ (Ⅳ) - 3 ׃5 אני ידעתי אפרים וישראל לא נכחד ממני כי עתה הזנית אפרים נטמא ישראל (Ⅴ)

They will not frame their doings to turn unto their God: for the spirit of whoredoms is in the midst of them, and they have not known the LORD.
- Leurs oeuvres ne leur permettent pas de revenir à leur Dieu, Parce que l'esprit de prostitution est au milieu d'eux, Et parce qu'ils ne connaissent pas l'Éternel. (Ⅱ) - οὐκ ἔδωκαν τὰ διαβούλια αὐτω̃ν του̃ ἐπιστρέψαι πρὸς τὸν θεὸν αὐτω̃ν ὅτι πνευ̃μα πορνείας ἐν αὐτοι̃ς ἐστιν τὸν δὲ κύριον οὐκ ἐπέγνωσαν (Ⅲ) - Non dabunt cogitationes suas ut revertantur ad Deum suum,/ quia spiritus fornicationum in medio eorum,/ et Dominum non cognoverunt./ (Ⅳ) - 4 ׃5 לא יתנו מעלליהם לשוב אל אלהיהם כי רוח זנונים בקרבם ואת יהוה לא ידעו (Ⅴ)

And the pride of Israel doth testify to his face: therefore shall Israel and Ephraim fall in their iniquity: Judah also shall fall with them.
- L'orgueil d'Israël témoigne contre lui; Israël et Éphraïm tomberont par leur iniquité; Avec eux aussi tombera Juda. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ταπεινωθήσεται ἡ ὕβρις του̃ Ισραηλ εἰς πρόσωπον αὐτου̃ καὶ Ισραηλ καὶ Εφραιμ ἀσθενήσουσιν ἐν ται̃ς ἀδικίαις αὐτω̃ν καὶ ἀσθενήσει καὶ Ιουδας μετ' αὐτω̃ν (Ⅲ) - Et respondebit arrogantia Israël in facie ejus,/ et Israël et Ephraim ruent in iniquitate sua :/ ruet etiam Judas cum eis./ (Ⅳ) - 5 ׃5 וענה גאון ישראל בפניו וישראל ואפרים יכשלו בעונם כשל גם יהודה עמם (Ⅴ)

They shall go with their flocks and with their herds to seek the LORD; but they shall not find him; he hath withdrawn himself from them.
- Ils iront avec leurs brebis et leurs boeufs chercher l'Éternel, Mais ils ne le trouveront point: Il s'est retiré du milieu d'eux. (Ⅱ) - μετὰ προβάτων καὶ μόσχων πορεύσονται του̃ ἐκζητη̃σαι τὸν κύριον καὶ οὐ μὴ εὕρωσιν αὐτόν ὅτι ἐξέκλινεν ἀπ' αὐτω̃ν (Ⅲ) - In gregibus suis et in armentis suis vadent ad quærendum Dominum,/ et non invenient :/ ablatus est ab eis./ (Ⅳ) - 6 ׃5 בצאנם ובבקרם ילכו לבקש את יהוה ולא ימצאו חלץ מהם (Ⅴ)

They have dealt treacherously against the LORD: for they have begotten strange children: now shall a month devour them with their portions.
- Ils ont été infidèles à l'Éternel, Car ils ont engendré des enfants illégitimes; Maintenant un mois suffira pour les dévorer avec leurs biens. (Ⅱ) - ὅτι τὸν κύριον ἐγκατέλιπον ὅτι τέκνα ἀλλότρια ἐγεννήθησαν αὐτοι̃ς νυ̃ν καταφάγεται αὐτοὺς ἡ ἐρυσίβη καὶ τοὺς κλήρους αὐτω̃ν (Ⅲ) - In Dominum prævaricati sunt,/ quia filios alienos genuerunt :/ nunc devorabit eos mensis, cum partibus suis./ (Ⅳ) - 7 ׃5 ביהוה בגדו כי בנים זרים ילדו עתה יאכלם חדש את חלקיהם ס (Ⅴ)

Blow ye the cornet in Gibeah, and the trumpet in Ramah: cry aloud at Bethaven, after thee, O Benjamin.
- Sonnez de la trompette à Guibea, Sonnez de la trompette à Rama! Poussez des cris à Beth Aven! Derrière toi, Benjamin! (Ⅱ) - σαλπίσατε σάλπιγγι ἐπὶ τοὺς βουνούς ἠχήσατε ἐπὶ τω̃ν ὑψηλω̃ν κηρύξατε ἐν τω̨̃ οἴκω̨ Ων ἐξέστη Βενιαμιν (Ⅲ) - Clangite buccina in Gabaa,/ tuba in Rama ;/ ululate in Bethaven,/ post tergum tuum, Benjamin./ (Ⅳ) - 8 ׃5 תקעו שופר בגבעה חצצרה ברמה הריעו בית און אחריך בנימין (Ⅴ)

Ephraim shall be desolate in the day of rebuke: among the tribes of Israel have I made known that which shall surely be.
- Éphraïm sera dévasté au jour du châtiment; J'annonce aux tribus d'Israël une chose certaine. (Ⅱ) - Εφραιμ εἰς ἀφανισμὸν ἐγένετο ἐν ἡμέραις ἐλέγχου ἐν ται̃ς φυλαι̃ς του̃ Ισραηλ ἔδειξα πιστά (Ⅲ) - Ephraim in desolatione erit in die correptionis ;/ in tribubus Israël ostendi fidem./ (Ⅳ) - 9 ׃5 אפרים לשמה תהיה ביום תוכחה בשבטי ישראל הודעתי נאמנה (Ⅴ)

The princes of Judah were like them that remove the bound: therefore I will pour out my wrath upon them like water.
- Les chefs de Juda sont comme ceux qui déplacent les bornes; Je répandrai sur eux ma colère comme un torrent. (Ⅱ) - ἐγένοντο οἱ ἄρχοντες Ιουδα ὡς μετατιθέντες ὅρια ἐπ' αὐτοὺς ἐκχεω̃ ὡς ὕδωρ τὸ ὅρμημά μου (Ⅲ) - Facti sunt principes Juda quasi assumentes terminum ;/ super eos effundam quasi aquam iram meam./ (Ⅳ) - 10 ׃5 היו שרי יהודה כמסיגי גבול עליהם אשפוך כמים עברתי (Ⅴ)

Ephraim is oppressed and broken in judgment, because he willingly walked after the commandment.
- Éphraïm est opprimé, brisé par le jugement, Car il a suivi les préceptes qui lui plaisaient. (Ⅱ) - κατεδυνάστευσεν Εφραιμ τὸν ἀντίδικον αὐτου̃ κατεπάτησεν κρίμα ὅτι ἤρξατο πορεύεσθαι ὀπίσω τω̃ν ματαίων (Ⅲ) - Calumniam patiens est Ephraim, fractus judicio,/ quoniam cœpit abire post sordes./ (Ⅳ) - 11 ׃5 עשוק אפרים רצוץ משפט כי הואיל הלך אחרי צו (Ⅴ)

Therefore will I be unto Ephraim as a moth, and to the house of Judah as rottenness.
- Je serai comme une teigne pour Éphraïm, Comme une carie pour la maison de Juda. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐγὼ ὡς ταραχὴ τω̨̃ Εφραιμ καὶ ὡς κέντρον τω̨̃ οἴκω̨ Ιουδα (Ⅲ) - Et ego quasi tinea Ephraim,/ et quasi putredo domui Juda./ (Ⅳ) - 12 ׃5 ואני כעש לאפרים וכרקב לבית יהודה (Ⅴ)

When Ephraim saw his sickness, and Judah saw his wound, then went Ephraim to the Assyrian, and sent to king Jareb: yet could he not heal you, nor cure you of your wound.
- Éphraïm voit son mal, et Juda ses plaies; Éphraïm se rend en Assyrie, et s'adresse au roi Jareb; Mais ce roi ne pourra ni vous guérir, Ni porter remède à vos plaies. (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἰ̃δεν Εφραιμ τὴν νόσον αὐτου̃ καὶ Ιουδας τὴν ὀδύνην αὐτου̃ καὶ ἐπορεύθη Εφραιμ πρὸς 'Ασσυρίους καὶ ἀπέστειλεν πρέσβεις πρὸς βασιλέα Ιαριμ καὶ αὐτὸς οὐκ ἠδυνάσθη ἰάσασθαι ὑμα̃ς καὶ οὐ μὴ διαπαύση̨ ἐξ ὑμω̃ν ὀδύνη (Ⅲ) - Et vidit Ephraim languorem suum,/ et Juda vinculum suum ;/ et abiit Ephraim ad Assur,/ et misit ad regem ultorem :/ et ipse non poterit sanare vos,/ nec solvere poterit a vobis vinculum./ (Ⅳ) - 13 ׃5 וירא אפרים את חליו ויהודה את מזרו וילך אפרים אל אשור וישלח אל מלך ירב והוא לא יוכל לרפא לכם ולא יגהה מכם מזור (Ⅴ)

For I will be unto Ephraim as a lion, and as a young lion to the house of Judah: I, even I, will tear and go away; I will take away, and none shall rescue him.
- Je serai comme un lion pour Éphraïm, Comme un lionceau pour la maison de Juda; Moi, moi, je déchirerai, puis je m'en irai, J'emporterai, et nul n'enlèvera ma proie. (Ⅱ) - διότι ἐγώ εἰμι ὡς πανθὴρ τω̨̃ Εφραιμ καὶ ὡς λέων τω̨̃ οἴκω̨ Ιουδα καὶ ἐγὼ ἁρπω̃μαι καὶ πορεύσομαι καὶ λήμψομαι καὶ οὐκ ἔσται ὁ ἐξαιρούμενος (Ⅲ) - Quoniam ego quasi leæna Ephraim,/ et quasi catulus leonis domui Juda./ Ego, ego capiam, et vadam ;/ tollam, et non est qui eruat./ (Ⅳ) - 14 ׃5 כי אנכי כשחל לאפרים וככפיר לבית יהודה אני אני אטרף ואלך אשא ואין מציל (Ⅴ)

I will go and return to my place, till they acknowledge their offence, and seek my face: in their affliction they will seek me early.
- Je m'en irai, je reviendrai dans ma demeure, Jusqu'à ce qu'ils s'avouent coupables et cherchent ma face. Quand ils seront dans la détresse, ils auront recours à moi. (Ⅱ) - πορεύσομαι καὶ ἐπιστρέψω εἰς τὸν τόπον μου ἕως οὑ̃ ἀφανισθω̃σιν καὶ ἐπιζητήσουσιν τὸ πρόσωπόν μου ἐν θλίψει αὐτω̃ν ὀρθριου̃σι πρός με λέγοντες (Ⅲ) - Vadens revertar ad locum meum,/ donec deficiatis, et quæratis faciem meam.] (Ⅳ) - 15 ׃5 אלך אשובה אל מקומי עד אשר יאשמו ובקשו פני בצר להם ישחרנני (Ⅴ)
