1 ׃1 דבר יהוה אשר היה אל צפניה בן כושי בן גדליה בן אמריה בן חזקיה בימי יאשיהו בן אמון מלך יהודה
- La parole de l'Éternel qui fut adressée à Sophonie, fils de Cuschi, fils de Guedalia, fils d'Amaria, fils d'Ézéchias, au temps de Josias, fils d'Amon, roi de Juda. (Ⅱ) - The word of the LORD which came unto Zephaniah the son of Cushi, the son of Gedaliah, the son of Amariah, the son of Hizkiah, in the days of Josiah the son of Amon, king of Judah. (Ⅲ) - λόγος κυρίου ὃς ἐγενήθη πρὸς Σοφονιαν τὸν του̃ Χουσι υἱὸν Γοδολιου του̃ Αμαριου του̃ Εζεκιου ἐν ἡμέραις Ιωσιου υἱου̃ Αμων βασιλέως Ιουδα (Ⅳ) - Verbum Domini quod factum est ad Sophoniam, filium Chusi, filii Godoliæ, filii Amariæ, filii Ezeciæ, in diebus Josiæ, filii Amon, regis Judæ.\ (Ⅴ)

2 ׃1 אסף אסף כל מעל פני האדמה נאם יהוה
- Je détruirai tout sur la face de la terre, Dit l'Éternel. (Ⅱ) - I will utterly consume all things from off the land, saith the LORD. (Ⅲ) - ἐκλείψει ἐκλιπέτω πάντα ἀπὸ προσώπου τη̃ς γη̃ς λέγει κύριος (Ⅳ) - Congregans congregabo omnia a facie terræ, dicit Dominus :/ (Ⅴ)

3 ׃1 אסף אדם ובהמה אסף עוף השמים ודגי הים והמכשלות את הרשעים והכרתי את האדם מעל פני האדמה נאם יהוה
- Je détruirai les hommes et les bêtes, Les oiseaux du ciel et les poissons de la mer, Les objets de scandale, et les méchants avec eux; J'exterminerai les hommes de la face de la terre, Dit l'Éternel. (Ⅱ) - I will consume man and beast; I will consume the fowls of the heaven, and the fishes of the sea, and the stumblingblocks with the wicked: and I will cut off man from off the land, saith the LORD. (Ⅲ) - ἐκλιπέτω ἄνθρωπος καὶ κτήνη ἐκλιπέτω τὰ πετεινὰ του̃ οὐρανου̃ καὶ οἱ ἰχθύες τη̃ς θαλάσσης καὶ ἐξαρω̃ τοὺς ἀνθρώπους ἀπὸ προσώπου τη̃ς γη̃ς λέγει κύριος (Ⅳ) - congregans hominem et pecus,/ congregans volatilia cæli et pisces maris :/ et ruinæ impiorum erunt,/ et disperdam homines a facie terræ, dicit Dominus./ (Ⅴ)

4 ׃1 ונטיתי ידי על יהודה ועל כל יושבי ירושלם והכרתי מן המקום הזה את שאר הבעל את שם הכמרים עם הכהנים
- J'étendrai ma main sur Juda, Et sur tous les habitants de Jérusalem; J'exterminerai de ce lieu les restes de Baal, Le nom de ses ministres et les prêtres avec eux, (Ⅱ) - I will also stretch out mine hand upon Judah, and upon all the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and I will cut off the remnant of Baal from this place, and the name of the Chemarims with the priests; (Ⅲ) - καὶ ἐκτενω̃ τὴν χει̃ρά μου ἐπὶ Ιουδαν καὶ ἐπὶ πάντας τοὺς κατοικου̃ντας Ιερουσαλημ καὶ ἐξαρω̃ ἐκ του̃ τόπου τούτου τὰ ὀνόματα τη̃ς Βααλ καὶ τὰ ὀνόματα τω̃ν ἱερέων (Ⅳ) - Et extendam manum meam super Judam/ et super omnes habitantes Jerusalem :/ et disperdam de loco hoc reliquias Baal,/ et nomina ædituorum cum sacerdotibus ;/ (Ⅴ)

5 ׃1 ואת המשתחוים על הגגות לצבא השמים ואת המשתחוים הנשבעים ליהוה והנשבעים במלכם
- Ceux qui se prosternent sur les toits devant l'armée des cieux, Ceux qui se prosternent en jurant par l'Éternel Et en jurant par leur roi, (Ⅱ) - And them that worship the host of heaven upon the housetops; and them that worship and that swear by the LORD, and that swear by Malcham; (Ⅲ) - καὶ τοὺς προσκυνου̃ντας ἐπὶ τὰ δώματα τη̨̃ στρατια̨̃ του̃ οὐρανου̃ καὶ τοὺς ὀμνύοντας κατὰ του̃ κυρίου καὶ τοὺς ὀμνύοντας κατὰ του̃ βασιλέως αὐτω̃ν (Ⅳ) - et eos qui adorant super tecta militiam cæli,/ et adorant et jurant in Domino,/ et jurant in Melchom ;/ (Ⅴ)

6 ׃1 ואת הנסוגים מאחרי יהוה ואשר לא בקשו את יהוה ולא דרשהו
- Ceux qui se sont détournés de l'Éternel, Et ceux qui ne cherchent pas l'Éternel, Qui ne le consultent pas. (Ⅱ) - And them that are turned back from the LORD; and those that have not sought the LORD, nor enquired for him. (Ⅲ) - καὶ τοὺς ἐκκλίνοντας ἀπὸ του̃ κυρίου καὶ τοὺς μὴ ζητήσαντας τὸν κύριον καὶ τοὺς μὴ ἀντεχομένους του̃ κυρίου (Ⅳ) - et qui avertuntur de post tergum Domini,/ et qui non quæsierunt Dominum,/ nec investigaverunt eum./ (Ⅴ)

7 ׃1 הס מפני אדני יהוה כי קרוב יום יהוה כי הכין יהוה זבח הקדיש קראיו
- Silence devant le Seigneur, l'Éternel! Car le jour de l'Éternel est proche, Car l'Éternel a préparé le sacrifice, Il a choisi ses conviés. (Ⅱ) - Hold thy peace at the presence of the Lord GOD: for the day of the LORD is at hand: for the LORD hath prepared a sacrifice, he hath bid his guests. (Ⅲ) - εὐλαβει̃σθε ἀπὸ προσώπου κυρίου του̃ θεου̃ διότι ἐγγὺς ἡ ἡμέρα του̃ κυρίου ὅτι ἡτοίμακεν κύριος τὴν θυσίαν αὐτου̃ ἡγίακεν τοὺς κλητοὺς αὐτου̃ (Ⅳ) - Silete a facie Domini Dei,/ quia juxta est dies Domini :/ quia præparavit Dominus hostiam ;/ sanctificavit vocatos suos./ (Ⅴ)

8 ׃1 והיה ביום זבח יהוה ופקדתי על השרים ועל בני המלך ועל כל הלבשים מלבוש נכרי
- Au jour du sacrifice de l'Éternel, Je châtierai les princes et les fils du roi, Et tous ceux qui portent des vêtements étrangers. (Ⅱ) - And it shall come to pass in the day of the LORD's sacrifice, that I will punish the princes, and the king's children, and all such as are clothed with strange apparel. (Ⅲ) - καὶ ἔσται ἐν ἡμέρα̨ θυσίας κυρίου καὶ ἐκδικήσω ἐπὶ τοὺς ἄρχοντας καὶ ἐπὶ τὸν οἰ̃κον του̃ βασιλέως καὶ ἐπὶ πάντας τοὺς ἐνδεδυμένους ἐνδύματα ἀλλότρια (Ⅳ) - Et erit : in die hostiæ Domini,/ visitabo super principes,/ et super filios regis,/ et super omnes qui induti sunt veste peregrina ;/ (Ⅴ)

9 ׃1 ופקדתי על כל הדולג על המפתן ביום ההוא הממלאים בית אדניהם חמס ומרמה ס
- En ce jour-là, je châtierai tous ceux qui sautent par-dessus le seuil, Ceux qui remplissent de violence et de fraude la maison de leur maître. (Ⅱ) - In the same day also will I punish all those that leap on the threshold, which fill their masters' houses with violence and deceit. (Ⅲ) - καὶ ἐκδικήσω ἐπὶ πάντας ἐμφανω̃ς ἐπὶ τὰ πρόπυλα ἐν ἐκείνη̨ τη̨̃ ἡμέρα̨ τοὺς πληρου̃ντας τὸν οἰ̃κον κυρίου του̃ θεου̃ αὐτω̃ν ἀσεβείας καὶ δόλου (Ⅳ) - et visitabo super omnem qui arroganter ingreditur super limen in die illa,/ qui complent domum Domini Dei sui iniquitate et dolo./ (Ⅴ)

10 ׃1 והיה ביום ההוא נאם יהוה קול צעקה משער הדגים ויללה מן המשנה ושבר גדול מהגבעות
- En ce jour-là, dit l'Éternel, Il y aura des cris à la porte des poissons, Des lamentations dans l'autre quartier de la ville, Et un grand désastre sur les collines. (Ⅱ) - And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD, that there shall be the noise of a cry from the fish gate, and an howling from the second, and a great crashing from the hills. (Ⅲ) - καὶ ἔσται ἐν ἐκείνη̨ τη̨̃ ἡμέρα̨ λέγει κύριος φωνὴ κραυγη̃ς ἀπὸ πύλης ἀποκεντούντων καὶ ὀλολυγμὸς ἀπὸ τη̃ς δευτέρας καὶ συντριμμὸς μέγας ἀπὸ τω̃ν βουνω̃ν (Ⅳ) - Et erit in die illa, dicit Dominus,/ vox clamoris a porta piscium,/ et ululatus a Secunda,/ et contritio magna a collibus./ (Ⅴ)

11 ׃1 הילילו ישבי המכתש כי נדמה כל עם כנען נכרתו כל נטילי כסף
- Gémissez, habitants de Macthesch! Car tous ceux qui trafiquent sont détruits, Tous les hommes chargés d'argent sont exterminés. (Ⅱ) - Howl, ye inhabitants of Maktesh, for all the merchant people are cut down; all they that bear silver are cut off. (Ⅲ) - θρηνήσατε οἱ κατοικου̃ντες τὴν κατακεκομμένην ὅτι ὡμοιώθη πα̃ς ὁ λαὸς Χανααν ἐξωλεθρεύθησαν πάντες οἱ ἐπηρμένοι ἀργυρίω̨ (Ⅳ) - Ululate, habitatores Pilæ :/ conticuit omnis populus Chanaan,/ disperierunt omnes involuti argento./ (Ⅴ)

12 ׃1 והיה בעת ההיא אחפש את ירושלם בנרות ופקדתי על האנשים הקפאים על שמריהם האמרים בלבבם לא ייטיב יהוה ולא ירע
- En ce temps-là, je fouillerai Jérusalem avec des lampes, Et je châtierai les hommes qui reposent sur leurs lies, Et qui disent dans leur coeur: L'Éternel ne fait ni bien ni mal. (Ⅱ) - And it shall come to pass at that time, that I will search Jerusalem with candles, and punish the men that are settled on their lees: that say in their heart, The LORD will not do good, neither will he do evil. (Ⅲ) - καὶ ἔσται ἐν ἐκείνη̨ τη̨̃ ἡμέρα̨ ἐξερευνήσω τὴν Ιερουσαλημ μετὰ λύχνου καὶ ἐκδικήσω ἐπὶ τοὺς ἄνδρας τοὺς καταφρονου̃ντας ἐπὶ τὰ φυλάγματα αὐτω̃ν οἱ λέγοντες ἐν ται̃ς καρδίαις αὐτω̃ν οὐ μὴ ἀγαθοποιήση̨ κύριος οὐδ' οὐ μὴ κακώση̨ (Ⅳ) - Et erit in tempore illo :/ scrutabor Jerusalem in lucernis,/ et visitabo super viros defixos in fæcibus suis,/ qui dicunt in cordibus suis :/ Non faciet bene Dominus, et non faciet male./ (Ⅴ)

13 ׃1 והיה חילם למשסה ובתיהם לשממה ובנו בתים ולא ישבו ונטעו כרמים ולא ישתו את יינם
- Leurs biens seront au pillage, Et leurs maisons seront dévastées; Ils auront bâti des maisons, qu'ils n'habiteront plus, Ils auront planté des vignes, dont ils ne boiront plus le vin. (Ⅱ) - Therefore their goods shall become a booty, and their houses a desolation: they shall also build houses, but not inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, but not drink the wine thereof. (Ⅲ) - καὶ ἔσται ἡ δύναμις αὐτω̃ν εἰς διαρπαγὴν καὶ οἱ οἰ̃κοι αὐτω̃ν εἰς ἀφανισμόν καὶ οἰκοδομήσουσιν οἰκίας καὶ οὐ μὴ κατοικήσουσιν ἐν αὐται̃ς καὶ καταφυτεύσουσιν ἀμπελω̃νας καὶ οὐ μὴ πίωσιν τὸν οἰ̃νον αὐτω̃ν (Ⅳ) - Et erit fortitudo eorum in direptionem,/ et domus eorum in desertum :/ et ædificabunt domos, et non habitabunt ;/ et plantabunt vineas, et non bibent vinum earum./ (Ⅴ)

14 ׃1 קרוב יום יהוה הגדול קרוב ומהר מאד קול יום יהוה מר צרח שם גבור
- Le grand jour de l'Éternel est proche, Il est proche, il arrive en toute hâte; Le jour de l'Éternel fait entendre sa voix, Et le héros pousse des cris amers. (Ⅱ) - The great day of the LORD is near, it is near, and hasteth greatly, even the voice of the day of the LORD: the mighty man shall cry there bitterly. (Ⅲ) - ὅτι ἐγγὺς ἡ ἡμέρα κυρίου ἡ μεγάλη ἐγγὺς καὶ ταχει̃α σφόδρα φωνὴ ἡμέρας κυρίου πικρὰ καὶ σκληρά τέτακται δυνατή (Ⅳ) - Juxta est dies Domini magnus :/ juxta est, et velox nimis./ Vox diei Domini amara :/ tribulabitur ibi fortis./ (Ⅴ)

15 ׃1 יום עברה היום ההוא יום צרה ומצוקה יום שאה ומשואה יום חשך ואפלה יום ענן וערפל
- Ce jour est un jour de fureur, Un jour de détresse et d'angoisse, Un jour de ravage et de destruction, Un jour de ténèbres et d'obscurité, Un jour de nuées et de brouillards, (Ⅱ) - That day is a day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, a day of wasteness and desolation, a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness, (Ⅲ) - ἡμέρα ὀργη̃ς ἡ ἡμέρα ἐκείνη ἡμέρα θλίψεως καὶ ἀνάγκης ἡμέρα ἀωρίας καὶ ἀφανισμου̃ ἡμέρα σκότους καὶ γνόφου ἡμέρα νεφέλης καὶ ὁμίχλης (Ⅳ) - Dies iræ dies illa,/ dies tribulationis et angustiæ,/ dies calamitatis et miseriæ,/ dies tenebrarum et caliginis,/ dies nebulæ et turbinis,/ (Ⅴ)

16 ׃1 יום שופר ותרועה על הערים הבצרות ועל הפנות הגבהות
- Un jour où retentiront la trompette et les cris de guerre Contre les villes fortes et les tours élevées. (Ⅱ) - A day of the trumpet and alarm against the fenced cities, and against the high towers. (Ⅲ) - ἡμέρα σάλπιγγος καὶ κραυγη̃ς ἐπὶ τὰς πόλεις τὰς ὀχυρὰς καὶ ἐπὶ τὰς γωνίας τὰς ὑψηλάς (Ⅳ) - dies tubæ et clangoris super civitates munitas,/ et super angulos excelsos./ (Ⅴ)

17 ׃1 והצרתי לאדם והלכו כעורים כי ליהוה חטאו ושפך דמם כעפר ולחמם כגללים
- Je mettrai les hommes dans la détresse, Et ils marcheront comme des aveugles, Parce qu'ils ont péché contre l'Éternel; Je répandrai leur sang comme de la poussière, Et leur chair comme de l'ordure. (Ⅱ) - And I will bring distress upon men, that they shall walk like blind men, because they have sinned against the LORD: and their blood shall be poured out as dust, and their flesh as the dung. (Ⅲ) - καὶ ἐκθλίψω τοὺς ἀνθρώπους καὶ πορεύσονται ὡς τυφλοί ὅτι τω̨̃ κυρίω̨ ἐξήμαρτον καὶ ἐκχεει̃ τὸ αἱ̃μα αὐτω̃ν ὡς χου̃ν καὶ τὰς σάρκας αὐτω̃ν ὡς βόλβιτα (Ⅳ) - Et tribulabo homines, et ambulabunt ut cæci,/ quia Domino peccaverunt ;/ et effundetur sanguis eorum sicut humus,/ et corpora eorum sicut stercora./ (Ⅴ)

18 ׃1 גם כספם גם זהבם לא יוכל להצילם ביום עברת יהוה ובאש קנאתו תאכל כל הארץ כי כלה אך נבהלה יעשה את כל ישבי הארץ ס
- Ni leur argent ni leur or ne pourront les délivrer, Au jour de la fureur de l'Éternel; Par le feu de sa jalousie tout le pays sera consumé; Car il détruira soudain tous les habitants du pays. (Ⅱ) - Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them in the day of the LORD's wrath; but the whole land shall be devoured by the fire of his jealousy: for he shall make even a speedy riddance of all them that dwell in the land. (Ⅲ) - καὶ τὸ ἀργύριον αὐτω̃ν καὶ τὸ χρυσίον αὐτω̃ν οὐ μὴ δύνηται ἐξελέσθαι αὐτοὺς ἐν ἡμέρα̨ ὀργη̃ς κυρίου καὶ ἐν πυρὶ ζήλους αὐτου̃ καταναλωθήσεται πα̃σα ἡ γη̃ διότι συντέλειαν καὶ σπουδὴν ποιήσει ἐπὶ πάντας τοὺς κατοικου̃ντας τὴν γη̃ν (Ⅳ) - Sed et argentum eorum et aurum eorum non poterit liberare eos/ in die iræ Domini :/ in igne zeli ejus devorabitur omnis terra,/ quia consummationem cum festinatione faciet/ cunctis habitantibus terram.] (Ⅴ)
