And Miriam and Aaron spake against Moses because of the Ethiopian woman whom he had married: for he had married an Ethiopian woman.
- Marie et Aaron parlèrent contre Moïse au sujet de la femme éthiopienne qu'il avait prise, car il avait pris une femme éthiopienne. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐλάλησεν Μαριαμ καὶ Ααρων κατὰ Μωυση̃ ἕνεκεν τη̃ς γυναικὸς τη̃ς Αἰθιοπίσσης ἣν ἔλαβεν Μωυση̃ς ὅτι γυναι̃κα Αἰθιόπισσαν ἔλαβεν (Ⅲ) - Locutaque est Maria et Aaron contra Moysen propter uxorem ejus Æthiopissam, (Ⅳ) - 1 ׃12 ותדבר מרים ואהרן במשה על אדות האשה הכשית אשר לקח כי אשה כשית לקח (Ⅴ)

And they said, Hath the LORD indeed spoken only by Moses? hath he not spoken also by us? And the LORD heard it.
- Ils dirent: Est-ce seulement par Moïse que l'Éternel parle? N'est-ce pas aussi par nous qu'il parle? (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἰ̃παν μὴ Μωυση̨̃ μόνω̨ λελάληκεν κύριος οὐχὶ καὶ ἡμι̃ν ἐλάλησεν καὶ ἤκουσεν κύριος (Ⅲ) - et dixerunt : Num per solum Moysen locutus est Dominus ? nonne et nobis similiter est locutus ? Quod cum audisset Dominus (Ⅳ) - 2 ׃12 ויאמרו הרק אך במשה דבר יהוה הלא גם בנו דבר וישמע יהוה (Ⅴ)

(Now the man Moses was very meek, above all the men which were upon the face of the earth.)
- Et l'Éternel l'entendit. Or, Moïse était un homme fort patient, plus qu'aucun homme sur la face de la terre. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ὁ ἄνθρωπος Μωυση̃ς πραῢς σφόδρα παρὰ πάντας τοὺς ἀνθρώπους τοὺς ὄντας ἐπὶ τη̃ς γη̃ς (Ⅲ) - (erat enim Moyses vir mitissimus super omnes homines qui morabantur in terra), (Ⅳ) - 3 ׃12 והאיש משה *ענו **עניו מאד מכל האדם אשר על פני האדמה ס (Ⅴ)

And the LORD spake suddenly unto Moses, and unto Aaron, and unto Miriam, Come out ye three unto the tabernacle of the congregation. And they three came out.
- Soudain l'Éternel dit à Moïse, à Aaron et à Marie: Allez, vous trois, à la tente d'assignation. Et ils y allèrent tous les trois. (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἰ̃πεν κύριος παραχρη̃μα πρὸς Μωυση̃ν καὶ Μαριαμ καὶ Ααρων ἐξέλθατε ὑμει̃ς οἱ τρει̃ς εἰς τὴν σκηνὴν του̃ μαρτυρίου καὶ ἐξη̃λθον οἱ τρει̃ς εἰς τὴν σκηνὴν του̃ μαρτυρίου (Ⅲ) - statim locutus est ad eum, et ad Aaron et Mariam : Egredimini vos tantum tres ad tabernaculum fœderis. Cumque fuissent egressi, (Ⅳ) - 4 ׃12 ויאמר יהוה פתאם אל משה ואל אהרן ואל מרים צאו שלשתכם אל אהל מועד ויצאו שלשתם (Ⅴ)

And the LORD came down in the pillar of the cloud, and stood in the door of the tabernacle, and called Aaron and Miriam: and they both came forth.
- L'Éternel descendit dans la colonne de nuée, et il se tint à l'entrée de la tente. Il appela Aaron et Marie, qui s'avancèrent tous les deux. (Ⅱ) - καὶ κατέβη κύριος ἐν στύλω̨ νεφέλης καὶ ἔστη ἐπὶ τη̃ς θύρας τη̃ς σκηνη̃ς του̃ μαρτυρίου καὶ ἐκλήθησαν Ααρων καὶ Μαριαμ καὶ ἐξήλθοσαν ἀμφότεροι (Ⅲ) - descendit Dominus in columna nubis, et stetit in introitu tabernaculi, vocans Aaron et Mariam. Qui cum issent, (Ⅳ) - 5 ׃12 וירד יהוה בעמוד ענן ויעמד פתח האהל ויקרא אהרן ומרים ויצאו שניהם (Ⅴ)

And he said, Hear now my words: If there be a prophet among you, I the LORD will make myself known unto him in a vision, and will speak unto him in a dream.
- Et il dit: Écoutez bien mes paroles! Lorsqu'il y aura parmi vous un prophète, c'est dans une vision que moi, l'Éternel, je me révélerai à lui, c'est dans un songe que je lui parlerai. (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἰ̃πεν πρὸς αὐτούς ἀκούσατε τω̃ν λόγων μου ἐὰν γένηται προφήτης ὑμω̃ν κυρίω̨ ἐν ὁράματι αὐτω̨̃ γνωσθήσομαι καὶ ἐν ὕπνω̨ λαλήσω αὐτω̨̃ (Ⅲ) - dixit ad eos : Audite sermones meos : si quis fuerit inter vos propheta Domini, in visione apparebo ei, vel per somnium loquar ad illum. (Ⅳ) - 6 ׃12 ויאמר שמעו נא דברי אם יהיה נביאכם יהוה במראה אליו אתודע בחלום אדבר בו (Ⅴ)

My servant Moses is not so, who is faithful in all mine house.
- Il n'en est pas ainsi de mon serviteur Moïse. Il est fidèle dans toute ma maison. (Ⅱ) - οὐχ οὕτως ὁ θεράπων μου Μωυση̃ς ἐν ὅλω̨ τω̨̃ οἴκω̨ μου πιστός ἐστιν (Ⅲ) - At non talis servus meus Moyses, qui in omni domo mea fidelissimus est : (Ⅳ) - 7 ׃12 לא כן עבדי משה בכל ביתי נאמן הוא (Ⅴ)

With him will I speak mouth to mouth, even apparently, and not in dark speeches; and the similitude of the LORD shall he behold: wherefore then were ye not afraid to speak against my servant Moses?
- Je lui parle bouche à bouche, je me révèle à lui sans énigmes, et il voit une représentation de l'Éternel. Pourquoi donc n'avez-vous pas craint de parler contre mon serviteur, contre Moïse? (Ⅱ) - στόμα κατὰ στόμα λαλήσω αὐτω̨̃ ἐν εἴδει καὶ οὐ δι' αἰνιγμάτων καὶ τὴν δόξαν κυρίου εἰ̃δεν καὶ διὰ τί οὐκ ἐφοβήθητε καταλαλη̃σαι κατὰ του̃ θεράποντός μου Μωυση̃ (Ⅲ) - ore enim ad os loquor ei : et palam, et non per ænigmata et figuras Dominum videt. Quare ergo non timuistis detrahere servo meo Moysi ?\ (Ⅳ) - 8 ׃12 פה אל פה אדבר בו ומראה ולא בחידת ותמנת יהוה יביט ומדוע לא יראתם לדבר בעבדי במשה (Ⅴ)

And the anger of the LORD was kindled against them; and he departed.
- La colère de l'Éternel s'enflamma contre eux. Et il s'en alla. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ὀργὴ θυμου̃ κυρίου ἐπ' αὐτοι̃ς καὶ ἀπη̃λθεν (Ⅲ) - Iratusque contra eos, abiit : (Ⅳ) - 9 ׃12 ויחר[1] אף יהוה בם וילך (Ⅴ)

And the cloud departed from off the tabernacle; and, behold, Miriam became leprous, white as snow: and Aaron looked upon Miriam, and, behold, she was leprous.
- La nuée se retira de dessus la tente. Et voici, Marie était frappée d'une lèpre, blanche comme la neige. Aaron se tourna vers Marie; et voici, elle avait la lèpre. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἡ νεφέλη ἀπέστη ἀπὸ τη̃ς σκηνη̃ς καὶ ἰδοὺ Μαριαμ λεπρω̃σα ὡσεὶ χιών καὶ ἐπέβλεψεν Ααρων ἐπὶ Μαριαμ καὶ ἰδοὺ λεπρω̃σα (Ⅲ) - nubes quoque recessit quæ erat super tabernaculum : et ecce Maria apparuit candens lepra quasi nix. Cumque respexisset eam Aaron, et vidisset perfusam lepra, (Ⅳ) - 10 ׃12 והענן סר מעל האהל והנה מרים מצרעת כשלג ויפן אהרן אל מרים והנה מצרעת (Ⅴ)

And Aaron said unto Moses, Alas, my lord, I beseech thee, lay not the sin upon us, wherein we have done foolishly, and wherein we have sinned.
- Alors Aaron dit à Moïse: De grâce, mon seigneur, ne nous fais pas porter la peine du péché que nous avons commis en insensés, et dont nous nous sommes rendus coupables! (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἰ̃πεν Ααρων πρὸς Μωυση̃ν δέομαι κύριε μὴ συνεπιθη̨̃ ἡμι̃ν ἁμαρτίαν διότι ἠγνοήσαμεν καθότι ἡμάρτομεν (Ⅲ) - ait ad Moysen : Obsecro, domine mi, ne imponas nobis hoc peccatum quod stulte commisimus, (Ⅳ) - 11 ׃12 ויאמר אהרן אל משה בי אדני אל נא תשת עלינו חטאת אשר נואלנו ואשר חטאנו (Ⅴ)

Let her not be as one dead, of whom the flesh is half consumed when he cometh out of his mother's womb.
- Oh! qu'elle ne soit pas comme l'enfant mort-né, dont la chair est à moitié consumée quand il sort du sein de sa mère! (Ⅱ) - μὴ γένηται ὡσεὶ ἴσον θανάτω̨ ὡσεὶ ἔκτρωμα ἐκπορευόμενον ἐκ μήτρας μητρὸς καὶ κατεσθίει τὸ ἥμισυ τω̃ν σαρκω̃ν αὐτη̃ς (Ⅲ) - ne fiat hæc quasi mortua, et ut abortivum quod projicitur de vulva matris suæ : ecce jam medium carnis ejus devoratum est a lepra. (Ⅳ) - 12 ׃12 אל נא תהי כמת אשר בצאתו מרחם אמו ויאכל חצי בשרו (Ⅴ)

And Moses cried unto the LORD, saying, Heal her now, O God, I beseech thee.
- Moïse cria à l'Éternel, en disant: O Dieu, je te prie, guéris-la! (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐβόησεν Μωυση̃ς πρὸς κύριον λέγων ὁ θεός δέομαί σου ἴασαι αὐτήν (Ⅲ) - Clamavitque Moyses ad Dominum, dicens : Deus, obsecro, sana eam. (Ⅳ) - 13 ׃12 ויצעק משה אל יהוה לאמר אל נא רפא נא לה פ (Ⅴ)

And the LORD said unto Moses, If her father had but spit in her face, should she not be ashamed seven days? let her be shut out from the camp seven days, and after that let her be received in again.
- Et l'Éternel dit à Moïse: Si son père lui avait craché au visage, ne serait-elle pas pendant sept jours un objet de honte? Qu'elle soit enfermée sept jours en dehors du camp; après quoi, elle y sera reçue. (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἰ̃πεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυση̃ν εἰ ὁ πατὴρ αὐτη̃ς πτύων ἐνέπτυσεν εἰς τὸ πρόσωπον αὐτη̃ς οὐκ ἐντραπήσεται ἑπτὰ ἡμέρας ἀφορισθήτω ἑπτὰ ἡμέρας ἔξω τη̃ς παρεμβολη̃ς καὶ μετὰ ταυ̃τα εἰσελεύσεται (Ⅲ) - Cui respondit Dominus : Si pater ejus spuisset in faciem illius, nonne debuerat saltem septem diebus rubore suffundi ? separetur septem diebus extra castra, et postea revocabitur. (Ⅳ) - 14 ׃12 ויאמר יהוה אל משה ואביה ירק ירק בפניה הלא תכלם שבעת ימים תסגר שבעת ימים מחוץ למחנה ואחר תאסף (Ⅴ)

And Miriam was shut out from the camp seven days: and the people journeyed not till Miriam was brought in again.
- Marie fut enfermée sept jours en dehors du camp; et le peuple ne partit point, jusqu'à ce que Marie y fut rentrée. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἀφωρίσθη Μαριαμ ἔξω τη̃ς παρεμβολη̃ς ἑπτὰ ἡμέρας καὶ ὁ λαὸς οὐκ ἐξη̃ρεν ἕως ἐκαθαρίσθη Μαριαμ (Ⅲ) - Exclusa est itaque Maria extra castra septem diebus : et populus non est motus de loco illo, donec revocata est Maria. (Ⅳ) - 15 ׃12 ותסגר מרים מחוץ למחנה שבעת ימים והעם לא נסע עד האסף מרים (Ⅴ)

And afterward the people removed from Hazeroth, and pitched in the wilderness of Paran.
- Après cela, le peuple partit de Hatséroth, et il campa dans le désert de Paran. (Ⅱ) - καὶ μετὰ ταυ̃τα ἐξη̃ρεν ὁ λαὸς ἐξ Ασηρωθ καὶ παρενέβαλον ἐν τη̨̃ ἐρήμω̨ του̃ Φαραν (Ⅲ) - Profectusque est populus de Haseroth, fixis tentoriis in deserto Pharan. (Ⅳ) - 16 ׃12 ואחר נסעו העם מחצרות ויחנו במדבר פארן פ (Ⅴ)
