20. 1

Then came the children of Israel, even the whole congregation, into the desert of Zin in the first month: and the people abode in Kadesh; and Miriam died there, and was buried there.

- Toute l'assemblée des enfants d'Israël arriva dans le désert de Tsin le premier mois, et le peuple s'arrêta à Kadès. C'est là que mourut Marie, et qu'elle fut enterrée. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἠ̃λθον οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ πα̃σα ἡ συναγωγή εἰς τὴν ἔρημον Σιν ἐν τω̨̃ μηνὶ τω̨̃ πρώτω̨ καὶ κατέμεινεν ὁ λαὸς ἐν Καδης καὶ ἐτελεύτησεν ἐκει̃ Μαριαμ καὶ ἐτάφη ἐκει̃ (Ⅲ)

- Veneruntque filii Israël et omnis multitudo in desertum Sin, mense primo, et mansit populus in Cades. Mortuaque est ibi Maria, et sepulta in eodem loco. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 1 ׃20 ויבאו בני ישראל כל העדה מדבר צן בחדש הראשון וישב העם בקדש ותמת שם מרים ותקבר שם ‬ (Ⅴ)

20. 2

And there was no water for the congregation: and they gathered themselves together against Moses and against Aaron.

- Il n'y avait point d'eau pour l'assemblée; et l'on se souleva contre Moïse et Aaron. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ οὐκ ἠ̃ν ὕδωρ τη̨̃ συναγωγη̨̃ καὶ ἠθροίσθησαν ἐπὶ Μωυση̃ν καὶ Ααρων (Ⅲ)

- Cumque indigeret aqua populus, convenerunt adversum Moysen et Aaron : (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 2 ׃20 ולא היה מים לעדה ויקהלו על משה ועל אהרן ‬ (Ⅴ)

20. 3

And the people chode with Moses, and spake, saying, Would God that we had died when our brethren died before the LORD!

- Le peuple chercha querelle à Moïse. Ils dirent: Que n'avons-nous expiré, quand nos frères expirèrent devant l'Éternel? (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἐλοιδορει̃το ὁ λαὸς πρὸς Μωυση̃ν λέγοντες ὄφελον ἀπεθάνομεν ἐν τη̨̃ ἀπωλεία̨ τω̃ν ἀδελφω̃ν ἡμω̃ν ἔναντι κυρίου (Ⅲ)

- et versi in seditionem, dixerunt : Utinam periissemus inter fratres nostros coram Domino. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 3 ׃20 וירב העם עם משה ויאמרו לאמר ולו גוענו בגוע אחינו לפני יהוה ‬ (Ⅴ)

20. 4

And why have ye brought up the congregation of the LORD into this wilderness, that we and our cattle should die there?

- Pourquoi avez-vous fait venir l'assemblée de l'Éternel dans ce désert, pour que nous y mourions, nous et notre bétail? (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἵνα τί ἀνηγάγετε τὴν συναγωγὴν κυρίου εἰς τὴν ἔρημον ταύτην ἀποκτει̃ναι ἡμα̃ς καὶ τὰ κτήνη ἡμω̃ν (Ⅲ)

- Cur eduxistis ecclesiam Domini in solitudinem, ut et nos et nostra jumenta moriamur ? (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 4 ׃20 ולמה הבאתם את קהל יהוה אל המדבר הזה למות שם אנחנו ובעירנו ‬ (Ⅴ)

20. 5

And wherefore have ye made us to come up out of Egypt, to bring us in unto this evil place? it is no place of seed, or of figs, or of vines, or of pomegranates; neither is there any water to drink.

- Pourquoi nous avez-vous fait monter hors d'Égypte, pour nous amener dans ce méchant lieu? Ce n'est pas un lieu où l'on puisse semer, et il n'y a ni figuier, ni vigne, ni grenadier, ni d'eau à boire. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἵνα τί του̃το ἀνηγάγετε ἡμα̃ς ἐξ Αἰγύπτου παραγενέσθαι εἰς τὸν τόπον τὸν πονηρὸν του̃τον τόπος οὑ̃ οὐ σπείρεται οὐδὲ συκαι̃ οὐδὲ ἄμπελοι οὐδὲ ῥόαι οὐδὲ ὕδωρ ἐστὶν πιει̃ν (Ⅲ)

- quare nos fecistis ascendere de Ægypto, et adduxistis in locum istum pessimum, qui seri non potest, qui nec ficum gignit, nec vineas, nec malogranata, insuper et aquam non habet ad bibendum ? (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 5 ׃20 ולמה העליתנו ממצרים להביא אתנו אל המקום הרע הזה לא מקום זרע ותאנה וגפן ורמון ומים אין לשתות ‬ (Ⅴ)

20. 6

And Moses and Aaron went from the presence of the assembly unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and they fell upon their faces: and the glory of the LORD appeared unto them.

- Moïse et Aaron s'éloignèrent de l'assemblée pour aller à l'entrée de la tente d'assignation. Ils tombèrent sur leur visage; et la gloire de l'Éternel leur apparut. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἠ̃λθεν Μωυση̃ς καὶ Ααρων ἀπὸ προσώπου τη̃ς συναγωγη̃ς ἐπὶ τὴν θύραν τη̃ς σκηνη̃ς του̃ μαρτυρίου καὶ ἔπεσαν ἐπὶ πρόσωπον καὶ ὤφθη ἡ δόξα κυρίου πρὸς αὐτούς (Ⅲ)

- Ingressusque Moyses et Aaron, dimissa multitudine, tabernaculum fœderis, corruerunt proni in terram, clamaveruntque ad Dominum, atque dixerunt : Domine Deus, audi clamorem hujus populi, et aperi eis thesaurum tuum fontem aquæ vivæ, ut satiati, cesset murmuratio eorum. Et apparuit gloria Domini super eos.\ (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 6 ׃20 ויבא משה ואהרן מפני הקהל אל פתח אהל מועד ויפלו על פניהם וירא כבוד יהוה אליהם פ‬ (Ⅴ)

20. 7

And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

- L'Éternel parla à Moïse, et dit: (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυση̃ν λέγων (Ⅲ)

- Locutusque est Dominus ad Moysen, dicens : (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 7 ׃20 וידבר יהוה אל משה לאמר ‬ (Ⅴ)

20. 8

Take the rod, and gather thou the assembly together, thou, and Aaron thy brother, and speak ye unto the rock before their eyes; and it shall give forth his water, and thou shalt bring forth to them water out of the rock: so thou shalt give the congregation and their beasts drink.

- Prends la verge, et convoque l'assemblée, toi et ton frère Aaron. Vous parlerez en leur présence au rocher, et il donnera ses eaux; tu feras sortir pour eux de l'eau du rocher, et tu abreuveras l'assemblée et leur bétail. (Ⅱ)

- λαβὲ τὴν ῥάβδον καὶ ἐκκλησίασον τὴν συναγωγὴν σὺ καὶ Ααρων ὁ ἀδελφός σου καὶ λαλήσατε πρὸς τὴν πέτραν ἔναντι αὐτω̃ν καὶ δώσει τὰ ὕδατα αὐτη̃ς καὶ ἐξοίσετε αὐτοι̃ς ὕδωρ ἐκ τη̃ς πέτρας καὶ ποτιει̃τε τὴν συναγωγὴν καὶ τὰ κτήνη αὐτω̃ν (Ⅲ)

- Tolle virgam, et congrega populum, tu et Aaron frater tuus, et loquimini ad petram coram eis, et illa dabit aquas. Cumque eduxeris aquam de petra, bibet omnis multitudo et jumenta ejus. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 8 ׃20 קח את המטה והקהל את העדה אתה ואהרן אחיך ודברתם אל הסלע לעיניהם ונתן מימיו והוצאת‪[c]‬ להם מים מן הסלע והשקית את העדה ואת בעירם ‬ (Ⅴ)

20. 9

And Moses took the rod from before the LORD, as he commanded him.

- Moïse prit la verge qui était devant l'Éternel, comme l'Éternel le lui avait ordonné. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἔλαβεν Μωυση̃ς τὴν ῥάβδον τὴν ἀπέναντι κυρίου καθὰ συνέταξεν κύριος (Ⅲ)

- Tulit igitur Moyses virgam, quæ erat in conspectu Domini, sicut præceperat ei, (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 9 ׃20 ויקח משה את המטה מלפני יהוה כאשר צוהו ‬ (Ⅴ)

20. 10

And Moses and Aaron gathered the congregation together before the rock, and he said unto them, Hear now, ye rebels; must we fetch you water out of this rock?

- Moïse et Aaron convoquèrent l'assemblée en face du rocher. Et Moïse leur dit: Écoutez donc, rebelles! Est-ce de ce rocher que nous vous ferons sortir de l'eau? (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἐξεκκλησίασεν Μωυση̃ς καὶ Ααρων τὴν συναγωγὴν ἀπέναντι τη̃ς πέτρας καὶ εἰ̃πεν πρὸς αὐτούς ἀκούσατέ μου οἱ ἀπειθει̃ς μὴ ἐκ τη̃ς πέτρας ταύτης ἐξάξομεν ὑμι̃ν ὕδωρ (Ⅲ)

- congregata multitudine ante petram : dixitque eis : Audite, rebelles et increduli : num de petra hac vobis aquam poterimus ejicere ? (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 10 ׃20 ויקהלו משה ואהרן את הקהל אל פני הסלע ויאמר להם שמעו נא המרים המן הסלע הזה נוציא לכם מים ‬ (Ⅴ)

20. 11

And Moses lifted up his hand, and with his rod he smote the rock twice: and the water came out abundantly, and the congregation drank, and their beasts also.

- Puis Moïse leva la main et frappa deux fois le rocher avec sa verge. Il sortit de l'eau en abondance. L'assemblée but, et le bétail aussi. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἐπάρας Μωυση̃ς τὴν χει̃ρα αὐτου̃ ἐπάταξεν τὴν πέτραν τη̨̃ ῥάβδω̨ δίς καὶ ἐξη̃λθεν ὕδωρ πολύ καὶ ἔπιεν ἡ συναγωγὴ καὶ τὰ κτήνη αὐτω̃ν (Ⅲ)

- Cumque elevasset Moyses manum, percutiens virga bis silicem, egressæ sunt aquæ largissimæ, ita ut populus biberet et jumenta. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 11 ׃20 וירם משה את ידו ויך את הסלע במטהו פעמים ויצאו מים רבים ותשת העדה ובעירם ס‬ (Ⅴ)

20. 12

And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron, Because ye believed me not, to sanctify me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore ye shall not bring this congregation into the land which I have given them.

- Alors l'Éternel dit à Moïse et à Aaron: Parce que vous n'avez pas cru en moi, pour me sanctifier aux yeux des enfants d'Israël, vous ne ferez point entrer cette assemblée dans le pays que je lui donne. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ εἰ̃πεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυση̃ν καὶ Ααρων ὅτι οὐκ ἐπιστεύσατε ἁγιάσαι με ἐναντίον υἱω̃ν Ισραηλ διὰ του̃το οὐκ εἰσάξετε ὑμει̃ς τὴν συναγωγὴν ταύτην εἰς τὴν γη̃ν ἣν δέδωκα αὐτοι̃ς (Ⅲ)

- Dixitque Dominus ad Moysen et Aaron : Quia non credidistis mihi, ut sanctificaretis me coram filiis Israël, non introducetis hos populos in terram, quam dabo eis. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 12 ׃20 ויאמר יהוה אל משה ואל אהרן יען לא האמנתם בי להקדישני לעיני בני ישראל לכן לא תביאו את הקהל הזה אל הארץ אשר נתתי להם ‬ (Ⅴ)

20. 13

This is the water of Meribah; because the children of Israel strove with the LORD, and he was sanctified in them.

- Ce sont les eaux de Meriba, où les enfants d'Israël contestèrent avec l'Éternel, qui fut sanctifié en eux. (Ⅱ)

- του̃το ὕδωρ ἀντιλογίας ὅτι ἐλοιδορήθησαν οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ ἔναντι κυρίου καὶ ἡγιάσθη ἐν αὐτοι̃ς (Ⅲ)

- Hæc est aqua contradictionis, ubi jurgati sunt filii Israël contra Dominum, et sanctificatus est in eis.\ (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 13 ׃20 המה מי מריבה אשר רבו בני ישראל את יהוה ויקדש בם ס‬ (Ⅴ)

20. 14

And Moses sent messengers from Kadesh unto the king of Edom, Thus saith thy brother Israel, Thou knowest all the travail that hath befallen us:

- De Kadès, Moïse envoya des messagers au roi d'Édom, pour lui dire: Ainsi parle ton frère Israël: Tu sais toutes les souffrances que nous avons éprouvées. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἀπέστειλεν Μωυση̃ς ἀγγέλους ἐκ Καδης πρὸς βασιλέα Εδωμ λέγων τάδε λέγει ὁ ἀδελφός σου Ισραηλ σὺ ἐπίστη̨ πάντα τὸν μόχθον τὸν εὑρόντα ἡμα̃ς (Ⅲ)

- Misit interea nuntios Moyses de Cades ad regem Edom, qui dicerent : Hæc mandat frater tuus Israël : Nosti omnem laborem qui apprehendit nos, (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 14 ׃20 וישלח משה מלאכים מקדש אל מלך אדום כה אמר אחיך ישראל אתה ידעת את כל התלאה אשר מצאתנו ‬ (Ⅴ)

20. 15

How our fathers went down into Egypt, and we have dwelt in Egypt a long time; and the Egyptians vexed us, and our fathers:

- Nos pères descendirent en Égypte, et nous y demeurâmes longtemps. Mais les Égyptiens nous ont maltraités, nous et nos pères. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ κατέβησαν οἱ πατέρες ἡμω̃ν εἰς Αἴγυπτον καὶ παρω̨κήσαμεν ἐν Αἰγύπτω̨ ἡμέρας πλείους καὶ ἐκάκωσαν ἡμα̃ς οἱ Αἰγύπτιοι καὶ τοὺς πατέρας ἡμω̃ν (Ⅲ)

- quomodo descenderint patres nostri in Ægyptum, et habitaverimus ibi multo tempore, afflixerintque nos Ægyptii, et patres nostros : (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 15 ׃20 וירדו אבתינו מצרימה ונשב במצרים ימים רבים וירעו לנו מצרים ולאבתינו ‬ (Ⅴ)

20. 16

And when we cried unto the LORD, he heard our voice, and sent an angel, and hath brought us forth out of Egypt: and, behold, we are in Kadesh, a city in the uttermost of thy border:

- Nous avons crié à l'Éternel, et il a entendu notre voix. Il a envoyé un ange, et nous a fait sortir de l'Égypte. Et voici, nous sommes à Kadès, ville à l'extrémité de ton territoire. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἀνεβοήσαμεν πρὸς κύριον καὶ εἰσήκουσεν κύριος τη̃ς φωνη̃ς ἡμω̃ν καὶ ἀποστείλας ἄγγελον ἐξήγαγεν ἡμα̃ς ἐξ Αἰγύπτου καὶ νυ̃ν ἐσμεν ἐν Καδης πόλει ἐκ μέρους τω̃ν ὁρίων σου (Ⅲ)

- et quomodo clamaverimus ad Dominum, et exaudierit nos, miseritque angelum, qui eduxerit nos de Ægypto. Ecce in urbe Cades, quæ est in extremis finibus tuis, positi, (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 16 ׃20 ונצעק אל יהוה וישמע קלנו וישלח מלאך ויצאנו ממצרים והנה אנחנו בקדש עיר קצה גבולך ‬ (Ⅴ)

20. 17

Let us pass, I pray thee, through thy country: we will not pass through the fields, or through the vineyards, neither will we drink of the water of the wells: we will go by the king's high way, we will not turn to the right hand nor to the left, until we have passed thy borders.

- Laisse-nous passer par ton pays; nous ne traverserons ni les champs, ni les vignes, et nous ne boirons pas l'eau des puits; nous suivrons la route royale, sans nous détourner à droite ou à gauche, jusqu'à ce que nous ayons franchi ton territoire. (Ⅱ)

- παρελευσόμεθα διὰ τη̃ς γη̃ς σου οὐ διελευσόμεθα δι' ἀγρω̃ν οὐδὲ δι' ἀμπελώνων οὐδὲ πιόμεθα ὕδωρ ἐκ λάκκου σου ὁδω̨̃ βασιλικη̨̃ πορευσόμεθα οὐκ ἐκκλινου̃μεν δεξιὰ οὐδὲ εὐώνυμα ἕως ἂν παρέλθωμεν τὰ ὅριά σου (Ⅲ)

- obsecramus ut nobis transire liceat per terram tuam. Non ibimus per agros, nec per vineas ; non bibemus aquas de puteis tuis : sed gradiemur via publica, nec ad dexteram nec ad sinistram declinantes, donec transeamus terminos tuos. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 17 ׃20 נעברה נא בארצך לא נעבר בשדה ובכרם ולא נשתה מי באר דרך המלך נלך לא נטה ימין ושמאול עד אשר נעבר גבולך ‬ (Ⅴ)

20. 18

And Edom said unto him, Thou shalt not pass by me, lest I come out against thee with the sword.

- Édom lui dit: Tu ne passeras point chez moi, sinon je sortirai à ta rencontre avec l'épée. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ εἰ̃πεν πρὸς αὐτὸν Εδωμ οὐ διελεύση̨ δι' ἐμου̃ εἰ δὲ μή ἐν πολέμω̨ ἐξελεύσομαι εἰς συνάντησίν σοι (Ⅲ)

- Cui respondit Edom : Non transibis per me, alioquin armatus occurram tibi. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 18 ׃20 ויאמר אליו אדום לא תעבר בי פן בחרב אצא לקראתך ‬ (Ⅴ)

20. 19

And the children of Israel said unto him, We will go by the high way: and if I and my cattle drink of thy water, then I will pay for it: I will only, without doing anything else, go through on my feet.

- Les enfants d'Israël lui dirent: Nous monterons par la grande route; et, si nous buvons de ton eau, moi et mes troupeaux, j'en paierai le prix; je ne ferai que passer avec mes pieds, pas autre chose. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ λέγουσιν αὐτω̨̃ οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ παρὰ τὸ ὄρος παρελευσόμεθα ἐὰν δὲ του̃ ὕδατός σου πίωμεν ἐγώ τε καὶ τὰ κτήνη δώσω τιμήν σοι ἀλλὰ τὸ πρα̃γμα οὐδέν ἐστιν παρὰ τὸ ὄρος παρελευσόμεθα (Ⅲ)

- Dixeruntque filii Israël : Per tritam gradiemur viam : et si biberimus aquas tuas, nos et pecora nostra, dabimus quod justum est : nulla erit in pretio difficultas, tantum velociter transeamus. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 19 ׃20 ויאמרו אליו בני ישראל‪[1]‬ במסלה נעלה ואם מימיך נשתה אני ומקני ונתתי מכרם רק אין דבר ברגלי אעברה ‬ (Ⅴ)

20. 20

And he said, Thou shalt not go through. And Edom came out against him with much people, and with a strong hand.

- Il répondit: Tu ne passeras pas! Et Édom sortit à sa rencontre avec un peuple nombreux et à main forte. (Ⅱ)

- ὁ δὲ εἰ̃πεν οὐ διελεύση̨ δι' ἐμου̃ καὶ ἐξη̃λθεν Εδωμ εἰς συνάντησιν αὐτω̨̃ ἐν ὄχλω̨ βαρει̃ καὶ ἐν χειρὶ ἰσχυρα̨̃ (Ⅲ)

- At ille respondit : Non transibis. Statimque egressus est obvius, cum infinita multitudo, et manu forti, (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 20 ׃20 ויאמר לא תעבר ויצא אדום לקראתו בעם כבד וביד חזקה ‬ (Ⅴ)

20. 21

Thus Edom refused to give Israel passage through his border: wherefore Israel turned away from him.

- Ainsi Édom refusa de donner passage à Israël par son territoire. Et Israël se détourna de lui. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ οὐκ ἠθέλησεν Εδωμ δου̃ναι τω̨̃ Ισραηλ παρελθει̃ν διὰ τω̃ν ὁρίων αὐτου̃ καὶ ἐξέκλινεν Ισραηλ ἀπ' αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ)

- nec voluit acquiescere deprecanti, ut concederet transitum per fines suos. Quam ob rem divertit ab eo Israël.\ (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 21 ׃20 וימאן אדום נתן את ישראל עבר בגבלו ויט ישראל מעליו פ‬ (Ⅴ)

20. 22

And the children of Israel, even the whole congregation, journeyed from Kadesh, and came unto mount Hor.

- Toute l'assemblée des enfants d'Israël partit de Kadès, et arriva à la montagne de Hor. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἀπη̃ραν ἐκ Καδης καὶ παρεγένοντο οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ πα̃σα ἡ συναγωγή εἰς Ωρ τὸ ὄρος (Ⅲ)

- Cumque castra movissent de Cades, venerunt in montem Hor, qui est in finibus terræ Edom : (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 22 ׃20 ויסעו מקדש ויבאו בני ישראל כל העדה הר ההר ‬ (Ⅴ)

20. 23

And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron in mount Hor, by the coast of the land of Edom, saying,

- L'Éternel dit à Moïse et à Aaron, vers la montagne de Hor, sur la frontière du pays d'Édom: (Ⅱ)

- καὶ εἰ̃πεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυση̃ν καὶ Ααρων ἐν Ωρ τω̨̃ ὄρει ἐπὶ τω̃ν ὁρίων γη̃ς Εδωμ λέγων (Ⅲ)

- ubi locutus est Dominus ad Moysen : (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 23 ׃20 ויאמר יהוה אל משה ואל אהרן בהר ההר על גבול ארץ אדום לאמר ‬ (Ⅴ)

20. 24

Aaron shall be gathered unto his people: for he shall not enter into the land which I have given unto the children of Israel, because ye rebelled against my word at the water of Meribah.

- Aaron va être recueilli auprès de son peuple; car il n'entrera point dans le pays que je donne aux enfants d'Israël, parce que vous avez été rebelles à mon ordre, aux eaux de Meriba. (Ⅱ)

- προστεθήτω Ααρων πρὸς τὸν λαὸν αὐτου̃ ὅτι οὐ μὴ εἰσέλθητε εἰς τὴν γη̃ν ἣν δέδωκα τοι̃ς υἱοι̃ς Ισραηλ διότι παρωξύνατέ με ἐπὶ του̃ ὕδατος τη̃ς λοιδορίας (Ⅲ)

- Pergat, inquit, Aaron ad populos suos : non enim intrabit terram, quam dedi filiis Israël, eo quod incredulus fuerit ori meo, ad aquas contradictionis. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 24 ׃20 יאסף אהרן אל עמיו כי לא יבא אל הארץ אשר נתתי לבני ישראל על אשר מריתם את פי למי מריבה ‬ (Ⅴ)

20. 25

Take Aaron and Eleazar his son, and bring them up unto mount Hor:

- Prends Aaron et son fils Éléazar, et fais-les monter sur la montagne de Hor. (Ⅱ)

- λαβὲ τὸν Ααρων καὶ Ελεαζαρ τὸν υἱὸν αὐτου̃ καὶ ἀναβίβασον αὐτοὺς εἰς Ωρ τὸ ὄρος ἔναντι πάσης τη̃ς συναγωγη̃ς (Ⅲ)

- Tolle Aaron et filium ejus cum eo, et duces eos in montem Hor. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 25 ׃20 קח את אהרן ואת אלעזר בנו והעל אתם הר ההר ‬ (Ⅴ)

20. 26

And strip Aaron of his garments, and put them upon Eleazar his son: and Aaron shall be gathered unto his people, and shall die there.

- Dépouille Aaron de ses vêtements, et fais-les revêtir à Éléazar, son fils. C'est là qu'Aaron sera recueilli et qu'il mourra. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἔκδυσον Ααρων τὴν στολὴν αὐτου̃ καὶ ἔνδυσον Ελεαζαρ τὸν υἱὸν αὐτου̃ καὶ Ααρων προστεθεὶς ἀποθανέτω ἐκει̃ (Ⅲ)

- Cumque nudaveris patrem veste sua, indues ea Eleazarum filium ejus : Aaron colligetur, et morietur ibi. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 26 ׃20 והפשט את אהרן את בגדיו והלבשתם את אלעזר בנו ואהרן יאסף ומת שם ‬ (Ⅴ)

20. 27

And Moses did as the LORD commanded: and they went up into mount Hor in the sight of all the congregation.

- Moïse fit ce que l'Éternel avait ordonné. Ils montèrent sur la montagne de Hor, aux yeux de toute l'assemblée. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἐποίησεν Μωυση̃ς καθὰ συνέταξεν κύριος καὶ ἀνεβίβασεν αὐτὸν εἰς Ωρ τὸ ὄρος ἐναντίον πάσης τη̃ς συναγωγη̃ς (Ⅲ)

- Fecit Moyses ut præceperat Dominus : et ascenderunt in montem Hor coram omni multitudine. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 27 ׃20 ויעש משה כאשר צוה יהוה ויעלו אל הר ההר לעיני כל העדה ‬ (Ⅴ)

20. 28

And Moses stripped Aaron of his garments, and put them upon Eleazar his son; and Aaron died there in the top of the mount: and Moses and Eleazar came down from the mount.

- Moïse dépouilla Aaron de ses vêtements, et les fit revêtir à Éléazar, son fils. Aaron mourut là, au sommet de la montagne. Moïse et Éléazar descendirent de la montagne. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἐξέδυσεν Ααρων τὰ ἱμάτια αὐτου̃ καὶ ἐνέδυσεν αὐτὰ Ελεαζαρ τὸν υἱὸν αὐτου̃ καὶ ἀπέθανεν Ααρων ἐπὶ τη̃ς κορυφη̃ς του̃ ὄρους καὶ κατέβη Μωυση̃ς καὶ Ελεαζαρ ἐκ του̃ ὄρους (Ⅲ)

- Cumque Aaron spoliasset vestibus suis, induit eis Eleazarum filium ejus. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 28 ׃20 ויפשט משה את אהרן את בגדיו וילבש אתם את אלעזר בנו וימת אהרן שם בראש ההר וירד משה ואלעזר מן ההר ‬ (Ⅴ)

20. 29

And when all the congregation saw that Aaron was dead, they mourned for Aaron thirty days, even all the house of Israel.

- Toute l'assemblée vit qu'Aaron avait expiré, et toute la maison d'Israël pleura Aaron pendant trente jours. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ εἰ̃δεν πα̃σα ἡ συναγωγὴ ὅτι ἀπελύθη Ααρων καὶ ἔκλαυσαν τὸν Ααρων τριάκοντα ἡμέρας πα̃ς οἰ̃κος Ισραηλ (Ⅲ)

- Illo mortuo in montis supercilio, descendit cum Eleazaro. (20:30 ) Omnis autem multitudo videns occubuisse Aaron, flevit super eo triginta diebus per cunctas familias suas. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 29 ׃20 ויראו כל העדה כי גוע אהרן ויבכו את אהרן שלשים יום כל בית ישראל ס‬ (Ⅴ)
