And Balaam said unto Balak, Build me here seven altars, and prepare me here seven oxen and seven rams.
- Balaam dit à Balak: Bâtis-moi ici sept autels, et prépare-moi ici sept taureaux et sept béliers. (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἰ̃πεν Βαλααμ τω̨̃ Βαλακ οἰκοδόμησόν μοι ἐνταυ̃θα ἑπτὰ βωμοὺς καὶ ἑτοίμασόν μοι ἐνταυ̃θα ἑπτὰ μόσχους καὶ ἑπτὰ κριούς (Ⅲ) - Dixitque Balaam ad Balac : Ædifica mihi hic septem aras, et para totidem vitulos, ejusdemque numeri arietes. (Ⅳ) - 1 ׃23 ויאמר בלעם אל בלק בנה לי בזה שבעה מזבחת והכן לי בזה שבעה פרים ושבעה אילים (Ⅴ)

And Balak did as Balaam had spoken; and Balak and Balaam offered on every altar a bullock and a ram.
- Balak fit ce que Balaam avait dit; et Balak et Balaam offrirent un taureau et un bélier sur chaque autel. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐποίησεν Βαλακ ὃν τρόπον εἰ̃πεν αὐτω̨̃ Βαλααμ καὶ ἀνήνεγκεν μόσχον καὶ κριὸν ἐπὶ τὸν βωμόν (Ⅲ) - Cumque fecisset juxta sermonem Balaam, imposuerunt simul vitulum et arietem super aram. And Balaam said unto Balak, Stand by thy burnt offering, and I will go: peradventure the LORD will come to meet me: and whatsoever he showeth me I will tell thee. And he went to an high place.
- Balaam dit à Balak: Tiens-toi près de ton holocauste, et je m'éloignerai; peut-être que l'Éternel viendra à ma rencontre, et je te dirai ce qu'il me révélera. Et il alla sur un lieu élevé. (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἰ̃πεν Βαλααμ πρὸς Βαλακ παράστηθι ἐπὶ τη̃ς θυσίας σου καὶ πορεύσομαι εἴ μοι φανει̃ται ὁ θεὸς ἐν συναντήσει καὶ ῥη̃μα ὃ ἐάν μοι δείξη̨ ἀναγγελω̃ σοι καὶ παρέστη Βαλακ ἐπὶ τη̃ς θυσίας αὐτου̃ καὶ Βαλααμ ἐπορεύθη ἐπερωτη̃σαι τὸν θεὸν καὶ ἐπορεύθη εὐθει̃αν (Ⅲ) - Dixitque Balaam ad Balac : Sta paulisper juxta holocaustum tuum, donec vadam, si forte occurrat mihi Dominus, et quodcumque imperaverit, loquar tibi. (Ⅳ) - 3 ׃23 ויאמר בלעם לבלק התיצב על עלתך ואלכה אולי יקרה יהוה לקראתי ודבר מה יראני והגדתי לך וילך שפי (Ⅴ)

And God met Balaam: and he said unto him, I have prepared seven altars, and I have offered upon every altar a bullock and a ram.
- Dieu vint au-devant de Balaam, et Balaam lui dit: J'ai dressé sept autels, et j'ai offert un taureau et un bélier sur chaque autel. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐφάνη ὁ θεὸς τω̨̃ Βαλααμ καὶ εἰ̃πεν πρὸς αὐτὸν Βαλααμ τοὺς ἑπτὰ βωμοὺς ἡτοίμασα καὶ ἀνεβίβασα μόσχον καὶ κριὸν ἐπὶ τὸν βωμόν (Ⅲ) - Cumque abiisset velociter, occurrit illi Deus. Locutusque ad eum Balaam : Septem, inquit, aras erexi, et imposui vitulum et arietem desuper. (Ⅳ) - 4 ׃23 ויקר אלהים אל בלעם ויאמר אליו את שבעת המזבחת ערכתי ואעל פר ואיל במזבח (Ⅴ)

And the LORD put a word in Balaam's mouth, and said, Return unto Balak, and thus thou shalt speak.
- L'Éternel mit des paroles dans la bouche de Balaam, et dit: Retourne vers Balak, et tu parleras ainsi. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐνέβαλεν ὁ θεὸς ῥη̃μα εἰς τὸ στόμα Βαλααμ καὶ εἰ̃πεν ἐπιστραφεὶς πρὸς Βαλακ οὕτως λαλήσεις (Ⅲ) - Dominus autem posuit verbum in ore ejus, et ait : Revertere ad Balac, et hæc loqueris. (Ⅳ) - 5 ׃23 וישם יהוה דבר בפי בלעם ויאמר שוב אל בלק וכה תדבר (Ⅴ)

And he returned unto him, and, lo, he stood by his burnt sacrifice, he, and all the princes of Moab.
- Il retourna vers lui; et voici, Balak se tenait près de son holocauste, lui et tous les chefs de Moab. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἀπεστράφη πρὸς αὐτόν καὶ ὅδε ἐφειστήκει ἐπὶ τω̃ν ὁλοκαυτωμάτων αὐτου̃ καὶ πάντες οἱ ἄρχοντες Μωαβ μετ' αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ) - Reversus invenit stantem Balac juxta holocaustum suum, et omnes principes Moabitarum : (Ⅳ) - 6 ׃23 וישב אליו והנה נצב על עלתו הוא וכל שרי מואב (Ⅴ)

And he took up his parable, and said, Balak the king of Moab hath brought me from Aram, out of the mountains of the east, saying, Come, curse me Jacob, and come, defy Israel.
- Balaam prononça son oracle, et dit: Balak m'a fait descendre d'Aram, Le roi de Moab m'a fait descendre des montagnes de l'Orient. -Viens, maudis-moi Jacob! Viens, sois irrité contre Israël! (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐγενήθη πνευ̃μα θεου̃ ἐπ' αὐτω̨̃ καὶ ἀναλαβὼν τὴν παραβολὴν αὐτου̃ εἰ̃πεν ἐκ Μεσοποταμίας μετεπέμψατό με Βαλακ βασιλεὺς Μωαβ ἐξ ὀρέων ἀπ' ἀνατολω̃ν λέγων δευ̃ρο ἄρασαί μοι τὸν Ιακωβ καὶ δευ̃ρο ἐπικατάρασαί μοι τὸν Ισραηλ (Ⅲ) - assumptaque parabola sua, dixit : [De Aram adduxit me Balac/ rex Moabitarum, de montibus orientis :/ Veni, inquit, et maledic Jacob ;/ propera, et detestare Israël./ (Ⅳ) - 7 ׃23 וישא משלו ויאמר מן ארם ינחני בלק מלך מואב מהררי קדם לכה ארה לי יעקב ולכה זעמה ישראל (Ⅴ)

How shall I curse, whom God hath not cursed? or how shall I defy, whom the LORD hath not defied?
- Comment maudirais-je celui que Dieu n'a point maudit? Comment serais-je irrité quand l'Éternel n'est point irrité? (Ⅱ) - τί ἀράσωμαι ὃν μὴ καταρα̃ται κύριος ἢ τί καταράσωμαι ὃν μὴ καταρα̃ται ὁ θεός (Ⅲ) - Quomodo maledicam, cui non maledixit Deus ?/ qua ratione detester, quem Dominus non detestatur ?/ (Ⅳ) - 8 ׃23 מה אקב לא קבה אל ומה אזעם לא זעם יהוה (Ⅴ)

For from the top of the rocks I see him, and from the hills I behold him: lo, the people shall dwell alone, and shall not be reckoned among the nations.
- Je le vois du sommet des rochers, Je le contemple du haut des collines: C'est un peuple qui a sa demeure à part, Et qui ne fait point partie des nations. (Ⅱ) - ὅτι ἀπὸ κορυφη̃ς ὀρέων ὄψομαι αὐτὸν καὶ ἀπὸ βουνω̃ν προσνοήσω αὐτόν ἰδοὺ λαὸς μόνος κατοικήσει καὶ ἐν ἔθνεσιν οὐ συλλογισθήσεται (Ⅲ) - De summis silicibus videbo eum,/ et de collibus considerabo illum./ Populus solus habitabit,/ et inter gentes non reputabitur./ (Ⅳ) - 9 ׃23 כי מראש צרים אראנו ומגבעות אשורנו הן עם לבדד ישכן ובגוים לא יתחשב (Ⅴ)

Who can count the dust of Jacob, and the number of the fourth part of Israel? Let me die the death of the righteous, and let my last end be like his!
- Qui peut compter la poussière de Jacob, Et dire le nombre du quart d'Israël? Que je meure de la mort des justes, Et que ma fin soit semblable à la leur! (Ⅱ) - τίς ἐξηκριβάσατο τὸ σπέρμα Ιακωβ καὶ τίς ἐξαριθμήσεται δήμους Ισραηλ ἀποθάνοι ἡ ψυχή μου ἐν ψυχαι̃ς δικαίων καὶ γένοιτο τὸ σπέρμα μου ὡς τὸ σπέρμα τούτων (Ⅲ) - Quis dinumerare possit pulverem Jacob,/ et nosse numerum stirpis Israël ?/ Moriatur anima mea morte justorum,/ et fiant novissima mea horum similia.]\ (Ⅳ) - 10 ׃23 מי מנה עפר יעקב ומספר את רבע ישראל תמת נפשי מות ישרים ותהי אחריתי כמהו (Ⅴ)

And Balak said unto Balaam, What hast thou done unto me? I took thee to curse mine enemies, and, behold, thou hast blessed them altogether.
- Balak dit à Balaam: Que m'as-tu fait? Je t'ai pris pour maudire mon ennemi, et voici, tu le bénis! (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἰ̃πεν Βαλακ πρὸς Βαλααμ τί πεποίηκάς μοι εἰς κατάρασιν ἐχθρω̃ν μου κέκληκά σε καὶ ἰδοὺ εὐλόγηκας εὐλογίαν (Ⅲ) - Dixitque Balac ad Balaam : Quid est hoc quod agis ? ut malediceres inimicis meis vocavi te, et tu e contrario benedicis eis. (Ⅳ) - 11 ׃23 ויאמר בלק אל בלעם מה עשית לי לקב איבי לקחתיך והנה ברכת ברך (Ⅴ)

And he answered and said, Must I not take heed to speak that which the LORD hath put in my mouth?
- Il répondit, et dit: N'aurai-je pas soin de dire ce que l'Éternel met dans ma bouche? (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἰ̃πεν Βαλααμ πρὸς Βαλακ οὐχὶ ὅσα ἐὰν ἐμβάλη̨ ὁ θεὸς εἰς τὸ στόμα μου του̃το φυλάξω λαλη̃σαι (Ⅲ) - Cui ille respondit : Num aliud possum loqui, nisi quod jusserit Dominus ? (Ⅳ) - 12 ׃23 ויען ויאמר הלא את אשר ישים יהוה בפי אתו אשמר לדבר (Ⅴ)

And Balak said unto him, Come, I pray thee, with me unto another place, from whence thou mayest see them: thou shalt see but the utmost part of them, and shalt not see them all: and curse me them from thence.
- Balak lui dit: Viens donc avec moi dans un autre lieu, d'où tu le verras; tu n'en verras qu'une partie, tu n'en verras pas la totalité. Et de là maudis-le-moi. (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἰ̃πεν πρὸς αὐτὸν Βαλακ δευ̃ρο ἔτι μετ' ἐμου̃ εἰς τόπον ἄλλον ἐξ ὡ̃ν οὐκ ὄψη̨ αὐτὸν ἐκει̃θεν ἀλλ' ἢ μέρος τι αὐτου̃ ὄψη̨ πάντας δὲ οὐ μὴ ἴδη̨ς καὶ κατάρασαί μοι αὐτὸν ἐκει̃θεν (Ⅲ) - Dixit ergo Balac : Veni mecum in alterum locum unde partem Israël videas, et totum videre non possis : inde maledicito ei. (Ⅳ) - 13 ׃23 ויאמר אליו בלק *לך **לכה נא אתי אל מקום אחר אשר תראנו משם אפס קצהו תראה וכלו לא תראה וקבנו לי משם (Ⅴ)

And he brought him into the field of Zophim, to the top of Pisgah, and built seven altars, and offered a bullock and a ram on every altar.
- Il le mena au champ de Tsophim, sur le sommet du Pisga; il bâtit sept autels, et offrit un taureau et un bélier sur chaque autel. (Ⅱ) - καὶ παρέλαβεν αὐτὸν εἰς ἀγρου̃ σκοπιὰν ἐπὶ κορυφὴν λελαξευμένου καὶ ὠ̨κοδόμησεν ἐκει̃ ἑπτὰ βωμοὺς καὶ ἀνεβίβασεν μόσχον καὶ κριὸν ἐπὶ τὸν βωμόν (Ⅲ) - Cumque duxisset eum in locum sublimem, super verticem montis Phasga, ædificavit Balaam septem aras, et impositis supra vitulo atque ariete, (Ⅳ) - 14 ׃23 ויקחהו שדה צפים אל ראש הפסגה ויבן שבעה מזבחת ויעל פר ואיל במזבח (Ⅴ)

And he said unto Balak, Stand here by thy burnt offering, while I meet the LORD yonder.
- Balaam dit à Balak: Tiens-toi ici, près de ton holocauste, et j'irai à la rencontre de Dieu. (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἰ̃πεν Βαλααμ πρὸς Βαλακ παράστηθι ἐπὶ τη̃ς θυσίας σου ἐγὼ δὲ πορεύσομαι ἐπερωτη̃σαι τὸν θεόν (Ⅲ) - dixit ad Balac : Sta hic juxta holocaustum tuum, donec ego obvius pergam. (Ⅳ) - 15 ׃23 ויאמר אל בלק התיצב כה על עלתך ואנכי אקרה כה (Ⅴ)

And the LORD met Balaam, and put a word in his mouth, and said, Go again unto Balak, and say thus.
- L'Éternel vint au-devant de Balaam; il mit des paroles dans sa bouche, et dit: Retourne vers Balak, et tu parleras ainsi. (Ⅱ) - καὶ συνήντησεν ὁ θεὸς τω̨̃ Βαλααμ καὶ ἐνέβαλεν ῥη̃μα εἰς τὸ στόμα αὐτου̃ καὶ εἰ̃πεν ἀποστράφητι πρὸς Βαλακ καὶ τάδε λαλήσεις (Ⅲ) - Cui cum Dominus occurrisset, posuissetque verbum in ore ejus, ait : Revertere ad Balac, et hæc loqueris ei. (Ⅳ) - 16 ׃23 ויקר יהוה אל בלעם וישם דבר בפיו ויאמר שוב אל בלק וכה תדבר (Ⅴ)

And when he came to him, behold, he stood by his burnt offering, and the princes of Moab with him. And Balak said unto him, What hath the LORD spoken?
- Il retourna vers lui; et voici, Balak se tenait près de son holocauste, avec les chefs de Moab. Balak lui dit: Qu'est-ce que l'Éternel a dit? (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἀπεστράφη πρὸς αὐτόν καὶ ὅδε ἐφειστήκει ἐπὶ τη̃ς ὁλοκαυτώσεως αὐτου̃ καὶ πάντες οἱ ἄρχοντες Μωαβ μετ' αὐτου̃ καὶ εἰ̃πεν αὐτω̨̃ Βαλακ τί ἐλάλησεν κύριος (Ⅲ) - Reversus invenit eum stantem juxta holocaustum suum, et principes Moabitarum cum eo. Ad quem Balac : Quid, inquit, locutus est Dominus ? (Ⅳ) - 17 ׃23 ויבא אליו והנו נצב על עלתו ושרי מואב אתו ויאמר לו בלק מה דבר יהוה (Ⅴ)

And he took up his parable, and said, Rise up, Balak, and hear; hearken unto me, thou son of Zippor:

(Ⅱ) - καὶ ἀναλαβὼν τὴν παραβολὴν αὐτου̃ εἰ̃πεν ἀνάστηθι Βαλακ καὶ ἄκουε ἐνώτισαι μάρτυς υἱὸς Σεπφωρ (Ⅲ) - At ille, assumpta parabola sua, ait : [Sta, Balac, et ausculta ; audi, fili Sephor :/ (Ⅳ) - 18 ׃23 וישא משלו ויאמר קום בלק ושמע האזינה עדי בנו צפר (Ⅴ)

God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?
- Dieu n'est point un homme pour mentir, Ni fils d'un homme pour se repentir. Ce qu'il a dit, ne le fera-t-il pas? Ce qu'il a déclaré, ne l'exécutera-t il pas? (Ⅱ) - οὐχ ὡς ἄνθρωπος ὁ θεὸς διαρτηθη̃ναι οὐδὲ ὡς υἱὸς ἀνθρώπου ἀπειληθη̃ναι αὐτὸς εἴπας οὐχὶ ποιήσει λαλήσει καὶ οὐχὶ ἐμμενει̃ (Ⅲ) - non est Deus quasi homo, ut mentiatur,/ nec ut filius hominis, ut mutetur./ Dixit ergo, et non faciet ?/ locutus est, et non implebit ?/ (Ⅳ) - 19 ׃23 לא איש אל ויכזב ובן אדם ויתנחם ההוא אמר ולא יעשה ודבר ולא יקימנה (Ⅴ)

Behold, I have received commandment to bless: and he hath blessed; and I cannot reverse it.
- Voici, j'ai reçu l'ordre de bénir: Il a béni, je ne le révoquerai point. (Ⅱ) - ἰδοὺ εὐλογει̃ν παρείλημμαι εὐλογήσω καὶ οὐ μὴ ἀποστρέψω (Ⅲ) - Ad benedicendum adductus sum :/ benedictionem prohibere non valeo./ (Ⅳ) - 20 ׃23 הנה ברך לקחתי וברך ולא אשיבנה (Ⅴ)

He hath not beheld iniquity in Jacob, neither hath he seen perverseness in Israel: the LORD his God is with him, and the shout of a king is among them.
- Il n'aperçoit point d'iniquité en Jacob, Il ne voit point d'injustice en Israël; L'Éternel, son Dieu, est avec lui, Il est son roi, l'objet de son allégresse. (Ⅱ) - οὐκ ἔσται μόχθος ἐν Ιακωβ οὐδὲ ὀφθήσεται πόνος ἐν Ισραηλ κύριος ὁ θεὸς αὐτου̃ μετ' αὐτου̃ τὰ ἔνδοξα ἀρχόντων ἐν αὐτω̨̃ (Ⅲ) - Non est idolum in Jacob,/ nec videtur simulacrum in Israël./ Dominus Deus ejus cum eo est,/ et clangor victoriæ regis in illo./ (Ⅳ) - 21 ׃23 לא הביט און ביעקב ולא ראה עמל בישראל יהוה אלהיו עמו ותרועת מלך בו (Ⅴ)

God brought them out of Egypt; he hath as it were the strength of an unicorn.
- Dieu les a fait sortir d'Égypte, Il est pour eux comme la vigueur du buffle. (Ⅱ) - θεὸς ὁ ἐξαγαγὼν αὐτοὺς ἐξ Αἰγύπτου ὡς δόξα μονοκέρωτος αὐτω̨̃ (Ⅲ) - Deus eduxit illum de Ægypto,/ cujus fortitudo similis est rhinocerotis./ (Ⅳ) - 22 ׃23 אל מוציאם ממצרים כתועפת ראם לו (Ⅴ)

Surely there is no enchantment against Jacob, neither is there any divination against Israel: according to this time it shall be said of Jacob and of Israel, What hath God wrought!
- L'enchantement ne peut rien contre Jacob, Ni la divination contre Israël; Au temps marqué, il sera dit à Jacob et à Israël: Quelle est l'oeuvre de Dieu. (Ⅱ) - οὐ γάρ ἐστιν οἰωνισμὸς ἐν Ιακωβ οὐδὲ μαντεία ἐν Ισραηλ κατὰ καιρὸν ῥηθήσεται Ιακωβ καὶ τω̨̃ Ισραηλ τί ἐπιτελέσει ὁ θεός (Ⅲ) - Non est augurium in Jacob,/ nec divinatio in Israël :/ temporibus suis dicetur Jacob et Israëli quid operatus sit Deus./ (Ⅳ) - 23 ׃23 כי לא נחש ביעקב ולא קסם בישראל כעת יאמר ליעקב ולישראל מה פעל אל (Ⅴ)

Behold, the people shall rise up as a great lion, and lift up himself as a young lion: he shall not lie down until he eat of the prey, and drink the blood of the slain.
- C'est un peuple qui se lève comme une lionne, Et qui se dresse comme un lion; Il ne se couche point jusqu'à ce qu'il ait dévoré la proie, Et qu'il ait bu le sang des blessés. (Ⅱ) - ἰδοὺ λαὸς ὡς σκύμνος ἀναστήσεται καὶ ὡς λέων γαυριωθήσεται οὐ κοιμηθήσεται ἕως φάγη̨ θήραν καὶ αἱ̃μα τραυματιω̃ν πίεται (Ⅲ) - Ecce populus ut leæna consurget,/ et quasi leo erigetur :/ non accubabit donec devoret prædam,/ et occisorum sanguinem bibat.]\ (Ⅳ) - 24 ׃23 הן עם כלביא יקום וכארי יתנשא לא ישכב עד יאכל טרף ודם חללים ישתה (Ⅴ)

And Balak said unto Balaam, Neither curse them at all, nor bless them at all.
- Balak dit à Balaam: Ne le maudis pas, mais du moins ne le bénis pas. (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἰ̃πεν Βαλακ πρὸς Βαλααμ οὔτε κατάραις καταράση̨ μοι αὐτὸν οὔτε εὐλογω̃ν μὴ εὐλογήση̨ς αὐτόν (Ⅲ) - Dixitque Balac ad Balaam : Nec maledicas ei, nec benedicas. (Ⅳ) - 25 ׃23 ויאמר בלק אל בלעם גם קב לא תקבנו גם ברך לא תברכנו (Ⅴ)

But Balaam answered and said unto Balak, Told not I thee, saying, All that the LORD speaketh, that I must do?
- Balaam répondit, et dit à Balak: Ne t'ai-je pas parlé ainsi: Je ferai tout ce que l'Éternel dira? (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἀποκριθεὶς Βαλααμ εἰ̃πεν τω̨̃ Βαλακ οὐκ ἐλάλησά σοι λέγων τὸ ῥη̃μα ὃ ἐὰν λαλήση̨ ὁ θεός του̃το ποιήσω (Ⅲ) - Et ille ait : Nonne dixi tibi quod quidquid mihi Deus imperaret, hoc facerem ? (Ⅳ) - 26 ׃23 ויען בלעם ויאמר אל בלק הלא דברתי אליך לאמר כל אשר ידבר יהוה אתו אעשה (Ⅴ)

And Balak said unto Balaam, Come, I pray thee, I will bring thee unto another place; peradventure it will please God that thou mayest curse me them from thence.
- Balak dit à Balaam: Viens donc, je te mènerai dans un autre lieu; peut être Dieu trouvera-t-il bon que de là tu me maudisses ce peuple. (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἰ̃πεν Βαλακ πρὸς Βαλααμ δευ̃ρο παραλάβω σε εἰς τόπον ἄλλον εἰ ἀρέσει τω̨̃ θεω̨̃ καὶ καταρα̃σαί μοι αὐτὸν ἐκει̃θεν (Ⅲ) - Et ait Balac ad eum : Veni, et ducam te ad alium locum : si forte placeat Deo ut inde maledicas eis. (Ⅳ) - 27 ׃23 ויאמר בלק אל בלעם לכה נא אקחך אל מקום אחר אולי יישר בעיני האלהים וקבתו לי משם (Ⅴ)

And Balak brought Balaam unto the top of Peor, that looketh toward Jeshimon.
- Balak mena Balaam sur le sommet du Peor, en regard du désert. (Ⅱ) - καὶ παρέλαβεν Βαλακ τὸν Βαλααμ ἐπὶ κορυφὴν του̃ Φογωρ τὸ παρατει̃νον εἰς τὴν ἔρημον (Ⅲ) - Cumque duxisset eum super verticem montis Phogor, qui respicit solitudinem, (Ⅳ) - 28 ׃23 ויקח בלק את בלעם ראש הפעור הנשקף על פני הישימן (Ⅴ)

And Balaam said unto Balak, Build me here seven altars, and prepare me here seven bullocks and seven rams.
- Balaam dit à Balak: Bâtis-moi ici sept autels, et prépare-moi ici sept taureaux et sept béliers. (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἰ̃πεν Βαλααμ πρὸς Βαλακ οἰκοδόμησόν μοι ὡ̃δε ἑπτὰ βωμοὺς καὶ ἑτοίμασόν μοι ὡ̃δε ἑπτὰ μόσχους καὶ ἑπτὰ κριούς (Ⅲ) - dixit ei Balaam : Ædifica mihi hic septem aras, et para totidem vitulos, ejusdemque numeri arietes. (Ⅳ) - 29 ׃23 ויאמר בלעם אל בלק בנה לי בזה שבעה מזבחת והכן לי בזה שבעה פרים ושבעה אילים (Ⅴ)

And Balak did as Balaam had said, and offered a bullock and a ram on every altar.
- Balak fit ce que Balaam avait dit, et il offrit un taureau et un bélier sur chaque autel. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐποίησεν Βαλακ καθάπερ εἰ̃πεν αὐτω̨̃ Βαλααμ καὶ ἀνήνεγκεν μόσχον καὶ κριὸν ἐπὶ τὸν βωμόν (Ⅲ) - Fecit Balac ut Balaam dixerat : imposuitque vitulos et arietes per singulas aras. (Ⅳ) - 30 ׃23 ויעש בלק כאשר אמר בלעם ויעל פר ואיל במזבח (Ⅴ)
