32. 1

Now the children of Reuben and the children of Gad had a very great multitude of cattle: and when they saw the land of Jazer, and the land of Gilead, that, behold, the place was a place for cattle;

- Les fils de Ruben et les fils de Gad avaient une quantité considérable de troupeaux, et ils virent que le pays de Jaezer et le pays de Galaad étaient un lieu propre pour des troupeaux. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ κτήνη πλη̃θος ἠ̃ν τοι̃ς υἱοι̃ς Ρουβην καὶ τοι̃ς υἱοι̃ς Γαδ πλη̃θος σφόδρα καὶ εἰ̃δον τὴν χώραν Ιαζηρ καὶ τὴν χώραν Γαλααδ καὶ ἠ̃ν ὁ τόπος τόπος κτήνεσιν (Ⅲ)

- Filii autem Ruben et Gad habebant pecora multa, et erat illis in jumentis infinita substantia. Cumque vidissent Jazer et Galaad aptas animalibus alendis terras, (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 1 ׃32 ומקנה רב היה לבני ראובן ולבני גד עצום מאד ויראו את ארץ יעזר ואת ארץ גלעד והנה המקום מקום מקנה ‬ (Ⅴ)

32. 2

The children of Gad and the children of Reuben came and spake unto Moses, and to Eleazar the priest, and unto the princes of the congregation, saying,

- Alors les fils de Gad et les fils de Ruben vinrent auprès de Moïse, du sacrificateur Éléazar et des princes de l'assemblée, et ils leur dirent: (Ⅱ)

- καὶ προσελθόντες οἱ υἱοὶ Ρουβην καὶ οἱ υἱοὶ Γαδ εἰ̃παν πρὸς Μωυση̃ν καὶ πρὸς Ελεαζαρ τὸν ἱερέα καὶ πρὸς τοὺς ἄρχοντας τη̃ς συναγωγη̃ς λέγοντες (Ⅲ)

- venerunt ad Moysen, et ad Elezarum sacerdotem, et principes multitudinis, atque dixerunt : (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 2 ׃32 ויבאו בני גד ובני ראובן ויאמרו אל משה ואל אלעזר הכהן ואל נשיאי העדה לאמר ‬ (Ⅴ)

32. 3

Ataroth, and Dibon, and Jazer, and Nimrah, and Heshbon, and Elealeh, and Shebam, and Nebo, and Beon,

- Atharoth, Dibon, Jaezer, Nimra, Hesbon, Élealé, Sebam, Nebo et Beon, (Ⅱ)

- Αταρωθ καὶ Δαιβων καὶ Ιαζηρ καὶ Ναμβρα καὶ Εσεβων καὶ Ελεαλη καὶ Σεβαμα καὶ Ναβαυ καὶ Βαιαν (Ⅲ)

- Ataroth, et Dibon, et Jazer, et Nemra, Hesebon, et Eleale, et Saban, et Nebo, et Beon, (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 3 ׃32 עטרות ודיבן ויעזר ונמרה וחשבון ואלעלה ושבם ונבו ובען ‬ (Ⅴ)

32. 4

Even the country which the LORD smote before the congregation of Israel, is a land for cattle, and thy servants have cattle:

- ce pays que l'Éternel a frappé devant l'assemblée d'Israël, est un lieu propre pour des troupeaux, et tes serviteurs ont des troupeaux. (Ⅱ)

- τὴν γη̃ν ἣν παρέδωκεν κύριος ἐνώπιον τω̃ν υἱω̃ν Ισραηλ γη̃ κτηνοτρόφος ἐστίν καὶ τοι̃ς παισίν σου κτήνη ὑπάρχει (Ⅲ)

- terra, quam percussit Dominus in conspectu filiorum Israël, regio uberrima est ad pastum animalium : et nos servi tui habemus jumenta plurima, (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 4 ׃32 הארץ אשר הכה יהוה לפני עדת ישראל ארץ מקנה הוא ולעבדיך מקנה ס‬ (Ⅴ)

32. 5

Wherefore, said they, if we have found grace in thy sight, let this land be given unto thy servants for a possession, and bring us not over Jordan.

- Ils ajoutèrent: Si nous avons trouvé grâce à tes yeux, que la possession de ce pays soit accordée à tes serviteurs, et ne nous fais point passer le Jourdain. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἔλεγον εἰ εὕρομεν χάριν ἐνώπιόν σου δοθήτω ἡ γη̃ αὕτη τοι̃ς οἰκέταις σου ἐν κατασχέσει καὶ μὴ διαβιβάση̨ς ἡμα̃ς τὸν Ιορδάνην (Ⅲ)

- precamurque si invenimus gratiam coram te, ut des nobis famulis tuis eam in possessionem, nec facias nos transire Jordanem. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 5 ׃32 ויאמרו אם מצאנו חן בעיניך יתן את הארץ הזאת לעבדיך לאחזה אל תעברנו את הירדן ‬ (Ⅴ)

32. 6

And Moses said unto the children of Gad and to the children of Reuben, Shall your brethren go to war, and shall ye sit here?

- Moïse répondit aux fils de Gad et aux fils de Ruben: Vos frères iront-ils à la guerre, et vous, resterez-vous ici? (Ⅱ)

- καὶ εἰ̃πεν Μωυση̃ς τοι̃ς υἱοι̃ς Γαδ καὶ τοι̃ς υἱοι̃ς Ρουβην οἱ ἀδελφοὶ ὑμω̃ν πορεύονται εἰς πόλεμον καὶ ὑμει̃ς καθήσεσθε αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ)

- Quibus respondit Moyses : Numquid fratres vestri ibunt ad pugnam, et vos hic sedebitis ? (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 6 ׃32 ויאמר משה לבני גד ולבני ראובן האחיכם יבאו למלחמה ואתם תשבו פה ‬ (Ⅴ)

32. 7

And wherefore discourage ye the heart of the children of Israel from going over into the land which the LORD hath given them?

- Pourquoi voulez-vous décourager les enfants d'Israël de passer dans le pays que l'Éternel leur donne? (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἵνα τί διαστρέφετε τὰς διανοίας τω̃ν υἱω̃ν Ισραηλ μὴ διαβη̃ναι εἰς τὴν γη̃ν ἣν κύριος δίδωσιν αὐτοι̃ς (Ⅲ)

- cur subvertitis mentes filiorum Israël, ne transire audeant in locum, quem eis daturus est Dominus ? (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 7 ׃32 ולמה *תנואון **תניאון את לב בני ישראל מעבר אל הארץ אשר נתן להם יהוה ‬ (Ⅴ)

32. 8

Thus did your fathers, when I sent them from Kadeshbarnea to see the land.

- Ainsi firent vos pères, quand je les envoyai de Kadès Barnéa pour examiner le pays. (Ⅱ)

- οὐχ οὕτως ἐποίησαν οἱ πατέρες ὑμω̃ν ὅτε ἀπέστειλα αὐτοὺς ἐκ Καδης Βαρνη κατανοη̃σαι τὴν γη̃ν (Ⅲ)

- Nonne ita egerunt patres vestri, quando misi de Cadesbarne ad explorandam terram ? (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 8 ׃32 כה עשו אבתיכם בשלחי אתם מקדש ברנע לראות את הארץ ‬ (Ⅴ)

32. 9

For when they went up unto the valley of Eshcol, and saw the land, they discouraged the heart of the children of Israel, that they should not go into the land which the LORD had given them.

- Ils montèrent jusqu'à la vallée d'Eschcol, et, après avoir examiné le pays, ils découragèrent les enfants d'Israël d'aller dans le pays que l'Éternel leur donnait. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἀνέβησαν Φάραγγα βότρυος καὶ κατενόησαν τὴν γη̃ν καὶ ἀπέστησαν τὴν καρδίαν τω̃ν υἱω̃ν Ισραηλ ὅπως μὴ εἰσέλθωσιν εἰς τὴν γη̃ν ἣν ἔδωκεν κύριος αὐτοι̃ς (Ⅲ)

- cumque venissent usque ad Vallem botri, lustrata omni regione, subverterunt cor filiorum Israël, ut non intrarent fines, quos eis Dominus dedit. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 9 ׃32 ויעלו עד נחל אשכול ויראו את הארץ ויניאו את לב בני ישראל לבלתי בא אל הארץ אשר נתן להם יהוה ‬ (Ⅴ)

32. 10

And the LORD's anger was kindled the same time, and he sware, saying,

- La colère de l'Éternel s'enflamma ce jour-là, et il jura en disant: (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ὠργίσθη θυμω̨̃ κύριος ἐν τη̨̃ ἡμέρα̨ ἐκείνη̨ καὶ ὤμοσεν λέγων (Ⅲ)

- Qui iratus juravit, dicens : (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 10 ׃32 ויחר אף יהוה ביום ההוא וישבע לאמר ‬ (Ⅴ)

32. 11

Surely none of the men that came up out of Egypt, from twenty years old and upward, shall see the land which I sware unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob; because they have not wholly followed me:

- Ces hommes qui sont montés d'Égypte, depuis l'âge de vingt ans et au-dessus, ne verront point le pays que j'ai juré de donner à Abraham, à Isaac et à Jacob, car ils n'ont pas suivi pleinement ma voie, (Ⅱ)

- εἰ ὄψονται οἱ ἄνθρωποι οὑ̃τοι οἱ ἀναβάντες ἐξ Αἰγύπτου ἀπὸ εἰκοσαετου̃ς καὶ ἐπάνω οἱ ἐπιστάμενοι τὸ κακὸν καὶ τὸ ἀγαθὸν τὴν γη̃ν ἣν ὤμοσα τω̨̃ Αβρααμ καὶ Ισαακ καὶ Ιακωβ οὐ γὰρ συνεπηκολούθησαν ὀπίσω μου (Ⅲ)

- Si videbunt homines isti, qui ascenderunt ex Ægypto a viginti annis et supra, terram, quam sub juramento pollicitus sum Abraham, Isaac, et Jacob : et noluerunt sequi me, (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 11 ׃32 אם יראו האנשים העלים ממצרים מבן עשרים שנה ומעלה את האדמה אשר נשבעתי לאברהם ליצחק וליעקב כי לא מלאו אחרי ‬ (Ⅴ)

32. 12

Save Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenezite, and Joshua the son of Nun: for they have wholly followed the LORD.

- excepté Caleb, fils de Jephunné, le Kenizien, et Josué, fils de Nun, qui ont pleinement suivi la voie de l'Éternel. (Ⅱ)

- πλὴν Χαλεβ υἱὸς Ιεφοννη ὁ διακεχωρισμένος καὶ 'Ιησου̃ς ὁ του̃ Ναυη ὅτι συνεπηκολούθησεν ὀπίσω κυρίου (Ⅲ)

- præter Caleb filium Jephone Cenezæum, et Josue filium Nun : isti impleverunt voluntatem meam. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 12 ׃32 בלתי כלב בן יפנה הקנזי ויהושע בן נון כי מלאו אחרי יהוה ‬ (Ⅴ)

32. 13

And the LORD's anger was kindled against Israel, and he made them wander in the wilderness forty years, until all the generation, that had done evil in the sight of the LORD, was consumed.

- La colère de l'Éternel s'enflamma contre Israël, et il les fit errer dans le désert pendant quarante années, jusqu'à l'anéantissement de toute la génération qui avait fait le mal aux yeux de l'Éternel. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ὠργίσθη θυμω̨̃ κύριος ἐπὶ τὸν Ισραηλ καὶ κατερρόμβευσεν αὐτοὺς ἐν τη̨̃ ἐρήμω̨ τεσσαράκοντα ἔτη ἕως ἐξανηλώθη πα̃σα ἡ γενεὰ οἱ ποιου̃ντες τὰ πονηρὰ ἔναντι κυρίου (Ⅲ)

- Iratusque Dominus adversum Israël, circumduxit eum per desertum quadraginta annis, donec consumeretur universa generatio, quæ fecerat malum in conspectu ejus. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 13 ׃32 ויחר אף יהוה בישראל וינעם במדבר ארבעים שנה עד תם כל הדור העשה הרע בעיני יהוה ‬ (Ⅴ)

32. 14

And, behold, ye are risen up in your fathers' stead, an increase of sinful men, to augment yet the fierce anger of the LORD toward Israel.

- Et voici, vous prenez la place de vos pères comme des rejetons d'hommes pécheurs, pour rendre la colère de l'Éternel encore plus ardente contre Israël. (Ⅱ)

- ἰδοὺ ἀνέστητε ἀντὶ τω̃ν πατέρων ὑμω̃ν σύστρεμμα ἀνθρώπων ἁμαρτωλω̃ν προσθει̃ναι ἔτι ἐπὶ τὸν θυμὸν τη̃ς ὀργη̃ς κυρίου ἐπὶ Ισραηλ (Ⅲ)

- Et ecce, inquit, vos surrexistis pro patribus vestris, incrementa et alumni hominum peccatorum, ut augeretis furorem Domini contra Israël. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 14 ׃32 והנה קמתם תחת אבתיכם תרבות אנשים חטאים לספות עוד על חרון אף יהוה אל ישראל ‬ (Ⅴ)

32. 15

For if ye turn away from after him, he will yet again leave them in the wilderness; and ye shall destroy all this people.

- Car, si vous vous détournez de lui, il continuera de laisser Israël au désert, et vous causerez la perte de tout ce peuple. (Ⅱ)

- ὅτι ἀποστραφήσεσθε ἀπ' αὐτου̃ προσθει̃ναι ἔτι καταλιπει̃ν αὐτὸν ἐν τη̨̃ ἐρήμω̨ καὶ ἀνομήσετε εἰς ὅλην τὴν συναγωγὴν ταύτην (Ⅲ)

- Quod si nolueritis sequi eum, in solitudine populum derelinquet, et vos causa eritis necis omnium. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 15 ׃32 כי תשובן מאחריו ויסף עוד להניחו במדבר ושחתם לכל העם הזה ס‬ (Ⅴ)

32. 16

And they came near unto him, and said, We will build sheepfolds here for our cattle, and cities for our little ones:

- Ils s'approchèrent de Moïse, et ils dirent: Nous construirons ici des parcs pour nos troupeaux et des villes pour nos petits enfants; (Ⅱ)

- καὶ προση̃λθον αὐτω̨̃ καὶ ἔλεγον ἐπαύλεις προβάτων οἰκοδομήσωμεν ὡ̃δε τοι̃ς κτήνεσιν ἡμω̃ν καὶ πόλεις ται̃ς ἀποσκευαι̃ς ἡμω̃ν (Ⅲ)

- At illi prope accedentes, dixerunt : Caulas ovium fabricabimus, et stabula jumentorum, parvulis quoque nostris urbes munitas : (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 16 ׃32 ויגשו אליו ויאמרו גדרת צאן נבנה למקננו פה וערים לטפנו ‬ (Ⅴ)

32. 17

But we ourselves will go ready armed before the children of Israel, until we have brought them unto their place: and our little ones shall dwell in the fenced cities because of the inhabitants of the land.

- puis nous nous équiperons en hâte pour marcher devant les enfants d'Israël, jusqu'à ce que nous les ayons introduits dans le lieu qui leur est destiné; et nos petits enfants demeureront dans les villes fortes, à cause des habitants du pays. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἡμει̃ς ἐνοπλισάμενοι προφυλακὴ πρότεροι τω̃ν υἱω̃ν Ισραηλ ἕως ἂν ἀγάγωμεν αὐτοὺς εἰς τὸν ἑαυτω̃ν τόπον καὶ κατοικήσει ἡ ἀποσκευὴ ἡμω̃ν ἐν πόλεσιν τετειχισμέναις διὰ τοὺς κατοικου̃ντας τὴν γη̃ν (Ⅲ)

- nos autem ipsi armati et accincti pergemus ad prælium ante filios Israël, donec introducamus eos ad loca sua. Parvuli nostri, et quidquid habere possumus, erunt in urbibus muratis, propter habitatorum insidias. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 17 ׃32 ואנחנו נחלץ חשים לפני בני ישראל עד אשר אם הביאנם אל מקומם וישב טפנו בערי המבצר מפני ישבי הארץ ‬ (Ⅴ)

32. 18

We will not return unto our houses, until the children of Israel have inherited every man his inheritance.

- Nous ne retournerons point dans nos maisons avant que les enfants d'Israël aient pris possession chacun de son héritage; (Ⅱ)

- οὐ μὴ ἀποστραφω̃μεν εἰς τὰς οἰκίας ἡμω̃ν ἕως ἂν καταμερισθω̃σιν οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ ἕκαστος εἰς τὴν κληρονομίαν αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ)

- Non revertemur in domos nostras, usque dum possideant filii Israël hæreditatem suam : (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 18 ׃32 לא נשוב אל בתינו עד התנחל בני ישראל איש נחלתו ‬ (Ⅴ)

32. 19

For we will not inherit with them on yonder side Jordan, or forward; because our inheritance is fallen to us on this side Jordan eastward.

- et nous ne posséderons rien avec eux de l'autre côté du Jourdain, ni plus loin, puisque nous aurons notre héritage de ce côté-ci du Jourdain, à l'orient. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ οὐκέτι κληρονομήσωμεν ἐν αὐτοι̃ς ἀπὸ του̃ πέραν του̃ Ιορδάνου καὶ ἐπέκεινα ὅτι ἀπέχομεν τοὺς κλήρους ἡμω̃ν ἐν τω̨̃ πέραν του̃ Ιορδάνου ἐν ἀνατολαι̃ς (Ⅲ)

- nec quidquam quæremus trans Jordanem, quia jam habemus nostram possessionem in orientali ejus plaga.\ (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 19 ׃32 כי לא ננחל אתם מעבר לירדן והלאה כי באה נחלתנו אלינו מעבר הירדן מזרחה פ‬ (Ⅴ)

32. 20

And Moses said unto them, If ye will do this thing, if ye will go armed before the LORD to war,

- Moïse leur dit: Si vous faites cela, si vous vous armez pour combattre devant l'Éternel, (Ⅱ)

- καὶ εἰ̃πεν πρὸς αὐτοὺς Μωυση̃ς ἐὰν ποιήσητε κατὰ τὸ ῥη̃μα του̃το ἐὰν ἐξοπλίσησθε ἔναντι κυρίου εἰς πόλεμον (Ⅲ)

- Quibus Moyses ait : Si facitis quod promittitis, expediti pergite coram Domino ad pugnam : (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 20 ׃32 ויאמר אליהם משה אם תעשון את הדבר הזה אם תחלצו לפני יהוה למלחמה ‬ (Ⅴ)

32. 21

And will go all of you armed over Jordan before the LORD, until he hath driven out his enemies from before him,

- si tous ceux de vous qui s'armeront passent le Jourdain devant l'Éternel jusqu'à ce qu'il ait chassé ses ennemis loin de sa face, (Ⅱ)

- καὶ παρελεύσεται ὑμω̃ν πα̃ς ὁπλίτης τὸν Ιορδάνην ἔναντι κυρίου ἕως ἂν ἐκτριβη̨̃ ὁ ἐχθρὸς αὐτου̃ ἀπὸ προσώπου αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ)

- et omnis vir bellator armatus Jordanem transeat, donec subvertat Dominus inimicos suos, (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 21 ׃32 ועבר לכם כל חלוץ את הירדן לפני יהוה עד הורישו את איביו מפניו ‬ (Ⅴ)

32. 22

And the land be subdued before the LORD: then afterward ye shall return, and be guiltless before the LORD, and before Israel; and this land shall be your possession before the LORD.

- et si vous revenez seulement après que le pays aura été soumis devant l'Éternel, -vous serez alors sans reproche vis-à-vis de l'Éternel et vis-à-vis d'Israël, et cette contrée-ci sera votre propriété devant l'Éternel. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ κατακυριευθη̨̃ ἡ γη̃ ἔναντι κυρίου καὶ μετὰ ταυ̃τα ἀποστραφήσεσθε καὶ ἔσεσθε ἀθω̨̃οι ἔναντι κυρίου καὶ ἀπὸ Ισραηλ καὶ ἔσται ἡ γη̃ αὕτη ὑμι̃ν ἐν κατασχέσει ἔναντι κυρίου (Ⅲ)

- et subjiciatur ei omnis terra : tunc eritis inculpabiles apud Dominum et apud Israël, et obtinebitis regiones, quas vultis, coram Domino. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 22 ׃32 ונכבשה הארץ לפני יהוה ואחר תשבו והייתם נקיים מיהוה ומישראל והיתה הארץ הזאת לכם לאחזה לפני יהוה ‬ (Ⅴ)

32. 23

But if ye will not do so, behold, ye have sinned against the LORD: and be sure your sin will find you out.

- Mais si vous ne faites pas ainsi, vous péchez contre l'Éternel; sachez que votre péché vous atteindra. (Ⅱ)

- ἐὰν δὲ μὴ ποιήσητε οὕτως ἁμαρτήσεσθε ἔναντι κυρίου καὶ γνώσεσθε τὴν ἁμαρτίαν ὑμω̃ν ὅταν ὑμα̃ς καταλάβη̨ τὰ κακά (Ⅲ)

- Sin autem quod dicitis, non feceritis, nulli dubium est quin peccetis in Deum : et scitote quoniam peccatum vestrum apprehendet vos. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 23 ׃32 ואם לא תעשון כן הנה חטאתם ליהוה ודעו חטאתכם אשר תמצא אתכם ‬ (Ⅴ)

32. 24

Build you cities for your little ones, and folds for your sheep; and do that which hath proceeded out of your mouth.

- Construisez des villes pour vos petits enfants et des parcs pour vos troupeaux, et faites ce que votre bouche a déclaré. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ οἰκοδομήσετε ὑμι̃ν αὐτοι̃ς πόλεις τη̨̃ ἀποσκευη̨̃ ὑμω̃ν καὶ ἐπαύλεις τοι̃ς κτήνεσιν ὑμω̃ν καὶ τὸ ἐκπορευόμενον ἐκ του̃ στόματος ὑμω̃ν ποιήσετε (Ⅲ)

- Ædificate ergo urbes parvulis vestris, et caulas, et stabula ovibus ac jumentis : et quod polliciti estis, implete. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 24 ׃32 בנו לכם ערים לטפכם וגדרת לצנאכם והיצא מפיכם תעשו ‬ (Ⅴ)

32. 25

And the children of Gad and the children of Reuben spake unto Moses, saying, Thy servants will do as my lord commandeth.

- Les fils de Gad et les fils de Ruben dirent à Moïse: Tes serviteurs feront ce que mon seigneur ordonne. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ εἰ̃παν οἱ υἱοὶ Ρουβην καὶ οἱ υἱοὶ Γαδ πρὸς Μωυση̃ν λέγοντες οἱ παι̃δές σου ποιήσουσιν καθὰ ὁ κύριος ἡμω̃ν ἐντέλλεται (Ⅲ)

- Dixeruntque filii Gad et Ruben ad Moysen : Servi tui sumus : faciemus quod jubet dominus noster. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 25 ׃32 ויאמר בני גד ובני ראובן אל משה לאמר עבדיך יעשו כאשר אדני מצוה ‬ (Ⅴ)

32. 26

Our little ones, our wives, our flocks, and all our cattle, shall be there in the cities of Gilead:

- Nos petits enfants, nos femmes, nos troupeaux et tout notre bétail, resteront dans les villes de Galaad; (Ⅱ)

- ἡ ἀποσκευὴ ἡμω̃ν καὶ αἱ γυναι̃κες ἡμω̃ν καὶ πάντα τὰ κτήνη ἡμω̃ν ἔσονται ἐν ται̃ς πόλεσιν Γαλααδ (Ⅲ)

- Parvulos nostros, et mulieres, et pecora, ac jumenta relinquemus in urbibus Galaad : (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 26 ׃32 טפנו נשינו מקננו וכל בהמתנו יהיו שם בערי הגלעד ‬ (Ⅴ)

32. 27

But thy servants will pass over, every man armed for war, before the Lord to battle, as my lord saith.

- et tes serviteurs, tous armés pour la guerre, iront combattre devant l'Éternel, comme dit mon seigneur. (Ⅱ)

- οἱ δὲ παι̃δές σου παρελεύσονται πάντες ἐνωπλισμένοι καὶ ἐκτεταγμένοι ἔναντι κυρίου εἰς τὸν πόλεμον ὃν τρόπον ὁ κύριος λέγει (Ⅲ)

- nos autem famuli tui omnes expediti pergemus ad bellum, sicut tu, domine, loqueris. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 27 ׃32 ועבדיך יעברו כל חלוץ צבא לפני יהוה למלחמה כאשר אדני דבר ‬ (Ⅴ)

32. 28

So concerning them Moses commanded Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun, and the chief fathers of the tribes of the children of Israel:

- Moïse donna des ordres à leur sujet au sacrificateur Éléazar, à Josué, fils de Nun, et aux chefs de famille dans les tribus des enfants d'Israël. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ συνέστησεν αὐτοι̃ς Μωυση̃ς Ελεαζαρ τὸν ἱερέα καὶ 'Ιησου̃ν υἱὸν Ναυη καὶ τοὺς ἄρχοντας πατριω̃ν τω̃ν φυλω̃ν Ισραηλ (Ⅲ)

- Præcepit ergo Moyses Eleazaro sacerdoti, et Josue filio Nun, et principibus familiarum per tribus Israël, et dixit ad eos : (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 28 ׃32 ויצו להם משה את אלעזר הכהן ואת יהושע בן נון ואת ראשי אבות המטות לבני ישראל ‬ (Ⅴ)

32. 29

And Moses said unto them, If the children of Gad and the children of Reuben will pass with you over Jordan, every man armed to battle, before the LORD, and the land shall be subdued before you; then ye shall give them the land of Gilead for a possession:

- Il leur dit: Si les fils de Gad et les fils de Ruben passent avec vous le Jourdain, tous armés pour combattre devant l'Éternel, et que le pays soit soumis devant vous, vous leur donnerez en propriété la contrée de Galaad. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ εἰ̃πεν πρὸς αὐτοὺς Μωυση̃ς ἐὰν διαβω̃σιν οἱ υἱοὶ Ρουβην καὶ οἱ υἱοὶ Γαδ μεθ' ὑμω̃ν τὸν Ιορδάνην πα̃ς ἐνωπλισμένος εἰς πόλεμον ἔναντι κυρίου καὶ κατακυριεύσητε τη̃ς γη̃ς ἀπέναντι ὑμω̃ν καὶ δώσετε αὐτοι̃ς τὴν γη̃ν Γαλααδ ἐν κατασχέσει (Ⅲ)

- Si transierint filii Gad et filii Ruben vobiscum Jordanem omnes armati ad bellum coram Domino, et vobis fuerit terra subjecta, date eis Galaad in possessionem. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 29 ׃32 ויאמר משה אלהם אם יעברו בני גד ובני ראובן אתכם את הירדן כל חלוץ למלחמה לפני יהוה ונכבשה הארץ לפניכם ונתתם להם את ארץ הגלעד לאחזה ‬ (Ⅴ)

32. 30

But if they will not pass over with you armed, they shall have possessions among you in the land of Canaan.

- Mais s'ils ne marchent point en armes avec vous, qu'ils s'établissent au milieu de vous dans le pays de Canaan. (Ⅱ)

- ἐὰν δὲ μὴ διαβω̃σιν ἐνωπλισμένοι μεθ' ὑμω̃ν εἰς τὸν πόλεμον ἔναντι κυρίου καὶ διαβιβάσετε τὴν ἀποσκευὴν αὐτω̃ν καὶ τὰς γυναι̃κας αὐτω̃ν καὶ τὰ κτήνη αὐτω̃ν πρότερα ὑμω̃ν εἰς γη̃ν Χανααν καὶ συγκατακληρονομηθήσονταιϚξ ἐν ὑμι̃ν ἐν τη̨̃ γη̨̃ Χανααν (Ⅲ)

- Sin autem noluerint transire armati vobiscum in terram Chanaan, inter vos habitandi accipiant loca. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 30 ׃32 ואם לא יעברו חלוצים אתכם ונאחזו בתככם‪[1]‬ בארץ כנען ‬ (Ⅴ)

32. 31

And the children of Gad and the children of Reuben answered, saying, As the LORD hath said unto thy servants, so will we do.

- Les fils de Gad et les fils de Ruben répondirent: Nous ferons ce que l'Éternel a dit à tes serviteurs. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἀπεκρίθησαν οἱ υἱοὶ Ρουβην καὶ οἱ υἱοὶ Γαδ λέγοντες ὅσα ὁ κύριος λέγει τοι̃ς θεράπουσιν αὐτου̃ οὕτως ποιήσομεν (Ⅲ)

- Responderuntque filii Gad et filii Ruben : Sicut locutus est Dominus servis suis, ita faciemus : (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 31 ׃32 ויענו בני גד ובני ראובן לאמר את אשר דבר יהוה אל עבדיך כן נעשה ‬ (Ⅴ)

32. 32

We will pass over armed before the LORD into the land of Canaan, that the possession of our inheritance on this side Jordan may be ours.

- Nous passerons en armes devant l'Éternel au pays de Canaan; mais que nous possédions notre héritage de ce côté-ci du Jourdain. (Ⅱ)

- ἡμει̃ς διαβησόμεθα ἐνωπλισμένοι ἔναντι κυρίου εἰς γη̃ν Χανααν καὶ δώσετε τὴν κατάσχεσιν ἡμι̃ν ἐν τω̨̃ πέραν του̃ Ιορδάνου (Ⅲ)

- ipsi armati pergemus coram Domino in terram Chanaan, et possessionem jam suscepisse nos confitemur trans Jordanem.\ (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 32 ׃32 נחנו נעבר חלוצים לפני יהוה ארץ כנען ואתנו אחזת נחלתנו מעבר לירדן ‬ (Ⅴ)

32. 33

And Moses gave unto them, even to the children of Gad, and to the children of Reuben, and unto half the tribe of Manasseh the son of Joseph, the kingdom of Sihon king of the Amorites, and the kingdom of Og king of Bashan, the land, with the cities thereof in the coasts, even the cities of the country round about.

- Moïse donna aux fils de Gad et aux fils de Ruben, et à la moitié de la tribu de Manassé, fils de Joseph, le royaume de Sihon, roi des Amoréens, et le royaume d'Og, roi de Basan, le pays avec ses villes, avec les territoires des villes du pays tout alentour. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἔδωκεν αὐτοι̃ς Μωυση̃ς τοι̃ς υἱοι̃ς Γαδ καὶ τοι̃ς υἱοι̃ς Ρουβην καὶ τω̨̃ ἡμίσει φυλη̃ς Μανασση υἱω̃ν Ιωσηφ τὴν βασιλείαν Σηων βασιλέως Αμορραίων καὶ τὴν βασιλείαν Ωγ βασιλέως τη̃ς Βασαν τὴν γη̃ν καὶ τὰς πόλεις σὺν τοι̃ς ὁρίοις αὐτη̃ς πόλεις τη̃ς γη̃ς κύκλω̨ (Ⅲ)

- Dedit itaque Moyses filiis Gad et Ruben, et dimidiæ tribui Manasse filii Joseph, regnum Sehon regis Amorrhæi, et regnum Og regis Basan, et terram eorum cum urbibus suis per circuitum. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 33 ׃32 ויתן להם משה לבני גד ולבני ראובן ולחצי שבט מנשה בן יוסף את ממלכת סיחן מלך האמרי ואת ממלכת עוג מלך הבשן הארץ לעריה בגבלת ערי הארץ סביב ‬ (Ⅴ)

32. 34

And the children of Gad built Dibon, and Ataroth, and Aroer,

- Les fils de Gad bâtirent Dibon, Atharoth, Aroër, (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ὠ̨κοδόμησαν οἱ υἱοὶ Γαδ τὴν Δαιβων καὶ τὴν Αταρωθ καὶ τὴν Αροηρ (Ⅲ)

- Igitur exstruxerunt filii Gad, Dibon, et Ataroth, et Aroër, (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 34 ׃32 ויבנו בני גד את דיבן ואת עטרת ואת ערער ‬ (Ⅴ)

32. 35

And Atroth, Shophan, and Jaazer, and Jogbehah,

- Athroth Schophan, Jaezer, Jogbeha, (Ⅱ)

- καὶ τὴν Σωφαρ καὶ τὴν Ιαζηρ καὶ ὕψωσαν αὐτὰς (Ⅲ)

- et Etroth, et Sophan, et Jazer, et Jegbaa, (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 35 ׃32 ואת עטרת שופן ואת יעזר ויגבהה ‬ (Ⅴ)

32. 36

And Bethnimrah, and Bethharan, fenced cities: and folds for sheep.

- Beth Nimra et Beth Haran, villes fortes, et ils firent des parcs pour les troupeaux. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ τὴν Ναμβραν καὶ τὴν Βαιθαραν πόλεις ὀχυρὰς καὶ ἐπαύλεις προβάτων (Ⅲ)

- et Bethnemra, et Betharan, urbes munitas, et caulas pecoribus suis. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 36 ׃32 ואת בית נמרה ואת בית הרן ערי מבצר וגדרת צאן ‬ (Ⅴ)

32. 37

And the children of Reuben built Heshbon, and Elealeh, and Kirjathaim,

- Les fils de Ruben bâtirent Hesbon, Élealé et Kirjathaïm, (Ⅱ)

- καὶ οἱ υἱοὶ Ρουβην ὠ̨κοδόμησαν τὴν Εσεβων καὶ Ελεαλη καὶ Καριαθαιμ (Ⅲ)

- Filii vero Ruben ædificaverunt Hesebon, et Eleale, et Cariathaim, (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 37 ׃32 ובני ראובן בנו את חשבון ואת אלעלא ואת קריתים ‬ (Ⅴ)

32. 38

And Nebo, and Baalmeon, (their names being changed,) and Shibmah: and gave other names unto the cities which they builded.

- Nebo et Baal Meon, dont les noms furent changés, et Sibma, et ils donnèrent des noms aux villes qu'ils bâtirent. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ τὴν Βεελμεων περικεκυκλωμένας καὶ τὴν Σεβαμα καὶ ἐπωνόμασαν κατὰ τὰ ὀνόματα αὐτω̃ν τὰ ὀνόματα τω̃ν πόλεων ἃς ὠ̨κοδόμησαν (Ⅲ)

- et Nabo, et Baalmeon versis nominibus, Sabama quoque : imponentes vocabula urbibus, quas exstruxerunt. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 38 ׃32 ואת נבו ואת בעל מעון מוסבת שם ואת שבמה ויקראו בשמת את שמות הערים אשר בנו ‬ (Ⅴ)

32. 39

And the children of Machir the son of Manasseh went to Gilead, and took it, and dispossessed the Amorite which was in it.

- Les fils de Makir, fils de Manassé, marchèrent contre Galaad, et s'en emparèrent; ils chassèrent les Amoréens qui y étaient. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἐπορεύθη υἱὸς Μαχιρ υἱου̃ Μανασση εἰς Γαλααδ καὶ ἔλαβεν αὐτὴν καὶ ἀπώλεσεν τὸν Αμορραι̃ον τὸν κατοικου̃ντα ἐν αὐτη̨̃ (Ⅲ)

- Porro filii Machir filii Manasse, perrexerunt in Galaad, et vastaverunt eam interfecto Amorrhæo habitatore ejus. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 39 ׃32 וילכו בני מכיר בן מנשה גלעדה וילכדה ויורש את האמרי אשר בה ‬ (Ⅴ)

32. 40

And Moses gave Gilead unto Machir the son of Manasseh; and he dwelt therein.

- Moïse donna Galaad à Makir, fils de Manassé, qui s'y établit. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἔδωκεν Μωυση̃ς τὴν Γαλααδ τω̨̃ Μαχιρ υἱω̨̃ Μανασση καὶ κατώ̨κησεν ἐκει̃ (Ⅲ)

- Dedit ergo Moyses terram Galaad Machir filio Manasse, qui habitavit in ea. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 40 ׃32 ויתן משה את הגלעד למכיר בן מנשה וישב בה ‬ (Ⅴ)

32. 41

And Jair the son of Manasseh went and took the small towns thereof, and called them Havothjair.

- Jaïr, fils de Manassé, se mit en marche, prit les bourgs, et les appela bourgs de Jaïr. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ Ιαϊρ ὁ του̃ Μανασση ἐπορεύθη καὶ ἔλαβεν τὰς ἐπαύλεις αὐτω̃ν καὶ ἐπωνόμασεν αὐτὰς ἐπαύλεις Ιαϊρ (Ⅲ)

- Jair autem filius Manasse abiit, et occupavit vicos ejus, quos appellavit Havoth Jair, id est, Villas Jair. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 41 ׃32 ויאיר בן מנשה הלך וילכד את חותיהם ויקרא אתהן חות יאיר ‬ (Ⅴ)

32. 42

And Nobah went and took Kenath, and the villages thereof, and called it Nobah, after his own name.

- Nobach se mit en marche, prit Kenath avec les villes de son ressort, et l'appela Nobach, d'après son nom. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ Ναβαυ ἐπορεύθη καὶ ἔλαβεν τὴν Κανααθ καὶ τὰς κώμας αὐτη̃ς καὶ ἐπωνόμασεν αὐτὰς Ναβωθ ἐκ του̃ ὀνόματος αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ)

- Nobe quoque perrexit, et apprehendit Chanath cum viculis suis : vocavitque eam ex nomine suo Nobe. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 42 ׃32 ונבח הלך וילכד את קנת ואת בנתיה ויקרא לה נבח בשמו פ‬ (Ⅴ)
