And the chief fathers of the families of the children of Gilead, the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh, of the families of the sons of Joseph, came near, and spake before Moses, and before the princes, the chief fathers of the children of Israel:
- Les chefs de la famille de Galaad, fils de Makir, fils de Manassé, d'entre les familles des fils de Joseph, s'approchèrent et parlèrent devant Moïse et devant les princes, chefs de famille des enfants d'Israël. (Ⅱ) - καὶ προση̃λθον οἱ ἄρχοντες φυλη̃ς υἱω̃ν Γαλααδ υἱου̃ Μαχιρ υἱου̃ Μανασση ἐκ τη̃ς φυλη̃ς υἱω̃ν Ιωσηφ καὶ ἐλάλησαν ἔναντι Μωυση̃ καὶ ἔναντι Ελεαζαρ του̃ ἱερέως καὶ ἔναντι τω̃ν ἀρχόντων οἴκων πατριω̃ν υἱω̃ν Ισραηλ (Ⅲ) - Accesserunt autem et principes familiarum Galaad filii Machir filii Manasse, de stirpe filiorum Joseph : locutique sunt Moysi coram principibus Israël, atque dixerunt : (Ⅳ) - 1 ׃36 ויקרבו ראשי האבות למשפחת בני גלעד בן מכיר בן מנשה ממשפחת בני יוסף וידברו לפני משה ולפני הנשאים ראשי אבות לבני ישראל (Ⅴ)

And they said, The LORD commanded my lord to give the land for an inheritance by lot to the children of Israel: and my lord was commanded by the LORD to give the inheritance of Zelophehad our brother unto his daughters.
- Ils dirent: L'Éternel a ordonné à mon seigneur de donner le pays en héritage par le sort aux enfants d'Israël. Mon seigneur a aussi reçu de l'Éternel l'ordre de donner l'héritage de Tselophchad, notre frère, à ses filles. (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἰ̃παν τω̨̃ κυρίω̨ ἡμω̃ν ἐνετείλατο κύριος ἀποδου̃ναι τὴν γη̃ν τη̃ς κληρονομίας ἐν κλήρω̨ τοι̃ς υἱοι̃ς Ισραηλ καὶ τω̨̃ κυρίω̨ συνέταξεν κύριος δου̃ναι τὴν κληρονομίαν Σαλπααδ του̃ ἀδελφου̃ ἡμω̃ν ται̃ς θυγατράσιν αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ) - Tibi domino nostro præcepit Dominus ut terram sorte divideres filiis Israël, et ut filiabus Salphaad fratris nostri dares possessionem debitam patri : (Ⅳ) - 2 ׃36 ויאמרו את אדני צוה יהוה לתת את הארץ בנחלה בגורל לבני ישראל ואדני צוה ביהוה לתת את נחלת צלפחד אחינו לבנתיו (Ⅴ)

And if they be married to any of the sons of the other tribes of the children of Israel, then shall their inheritance be taken from the inheritance of our fathers, and shall be put to the inheritance of the tribe whereunto they are received: so shall it be taken from the lot of our inheritance.
- Si elles se marient à l'un des fils d'une autre tribu des enfants d'Israël, leur héritage sera retranché de l'héritage de nos pères et ajouté à celui de la tribu à laquelle elles appartiendront; ainsi sera diminué l'héritage qui nous est échu par le sort. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἔσονται ἑνὶ τω̃ν φυλω̃ν υἱω̃ν Ισραηλ γυναι̃κες καὶ ἀφαιρεθήσεται ὁ κλη̃ρος αὐτω̃ν ἐκ τη̃ς κατασχέσεως τω̃ν πατέρων ἡμω̃ν καὶ προστεθήσεται εἰς κληρονομίαν τη̃ς φυλη̃ς οἱ̃ς ἂν γένωνται γυναι̃κες καὶ ἐκ του̃ κλήρου τη̃ς κληρονομίας ἡμω̃ν ἀφαιρεθήσεται (Ⅲ) - quas si alterius tribus homines uxores acceperint, sequetur possessio sua, et translata ad aliam tribum, de nostra hæreditate minuetur. (Ⅳ) - 3 ׃36 והיו לאחד מבני שבטי בני ישראל לנשים ונגרעה נחלתן מנחלת אבתינו ונוסף על נחלת המטה אשר תהיינה להם ומגרל נחלתנו יגרע (Ⅴ)

And when the jubilee of the children of Israel shall be, then shall their inheritance be put unto the inheritance of the tribe whereunto they are received: so shall their inheritance be taken away from the inheritance of the tribe of our fathers.
- Et quand viendra le jubilé pour les enfants d'Israël, leur héritage sera ajouté à celui de la tribu à laquelle elles appartiendront, et il sera retranché de celui de la tribu de nos pères. (Ⅱ) - ἐὰν δὲ γένηται ἡ ἄφεσις τω̃ν υἱω̃ν Ισραηλ καὶ προστεθήσεται ἡ κληρονομία αὐτω̃ν ἐπὶ τὴν κληρονομίαν τη̃ς φυλη̃ς οἱ̃ς ἂν γένωνται γυναι̃κες καὶ ἀπὸ τη̃ς κληρονομίας φυλη̃ς πατρια̃ς ἡμω̃ν ἀφαιρεθήσεται ἡ κληρονομία αὐτω̃ν (Ⅲ) - Atque ita fiet, ut cum jubilæus, id est, quinquagesimus annus remissionis advenerit, confundatur sortium distributio, et aliorum possessio ad alios transeat. (Ⅳ) - 4 ׃36 ואם יהיה היבל לבני ישראל ונוספה נחלתן על נחלת המטה אשר תהיינה להם ומנחלת מטה אבתינו יגרע נחלתן (Ⅴ)

And Moses commanded the children of Israel according to the word of the LORD, saying, The tribe of the sons of Joseph hath said well.
- Moïse transmit aux enfants d'Israël les ordres de l'Éternel. Il dit: La tribu des fils de Joseph a raison. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐνετείλατο Μωυση̃ς τοι̃ς υἱοι̃ς Ισραηλ διὰ προστάγματος κυρίου λέγων οὕτως φυλὴ υἱω̃ν Ιωσηφ λέγουσιν (Ⅲ) - Respondit Moyses filiis Israël, et Domino præcipiente ait : Recte tribus filiorum Joseph locuta est. (Ⅳ) - 5 ׃36 ויצו משה את בני ישראל על פי יהוה לאמר כן מטה בני יוסף דברים (Ⅴ)

This is the thing which the LORD doth command concerning the daughters of Zelophehad, saying, Let them marry to whom they think best; only to the family of the tribe of their father shall they marry.
- Voici ce que l'Éternel ordonne au sujet des filles de Tselophchad: elles se marieront à qui elles voudront, pourvu qu'elles se marient dans une famille de la tribu de leurs pères. (Ⅱ) - του̃το τὸ ῥη̃μα ὃ συνέταξεν κύριος ται̃ς θυγατράσιν Σαλπααδ λέγων οὑ̃ ἀρέσκει ἐναντίον αὐτω̃ν ἔστωσαν γυναι̃κες πλὴν ἐκ του̃ δήμου του̃ πατρὸς αὐτω̃ν ἔστωσαν γυναι̃κες (Ⅲ) - Et hæc lex super filiabus Salphaad a Domino promulgata est : nubant quibus volunt, tantum ut suæ tribus hominibus : (Ⅳ) - 6 ׃36 זה הדבר אשר צוה יהוה לבנות צלפחד לאמר לטוב בעיניהם תהיינה לנשים אך למשפחת מטה אביהם תהיינה לנשים (Ⅴ)

So shall not the inheritance of the children of Israel remove from tribe to tribe: for every one of the children of Israel shall keep himself to the inheritance of the tribe of his fathers.
- Aucun héritage parmi les enfants d'Israël ne passera d'une tribu à une autre tribu, mais les enfants d'Israël s'attacheront chacun à l'héritage de la tribu de ses pères. (Ⅱ) - καὶ οὐχὶ περιστραφήσεται κληρονομία τοι̃ς υἱοι̃ς Ισραηλ ἀπὸ φυλη̃ς ἐπὶ φυλήν ὅτι ἕκαστος ἐν τη̨̃ κληρονομία̨ τη̃ς φυλη̃ς τη̃ς πατρια̃ς αὐτου̃ προσκολληθήσονται οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ (Ⅲ) - ne commisceatur possessio filiorum Israël de tribu in tribum. Omnes enim viri ducent uxores de tribu et cognatione sua : (Ⅳ) - 7 ׃36 ולא תסב נחלה לבני ישראל ממטה אל מטה כי איש בנחלת מטה אבתיו ידבקו בני ישראל (Ⅴ)

And every daughter, that possesseth an inheritance in any tribe of the children of Israel, shall be wife unto one of the family of the tribe of her father, that the children of Israel may enjoy every man the inheritance of his fathers.
- Et toute fille, possédant un héritage dans les tribus des enfants d'Israël, se mariera à quelqu'un d'une famille de la tribu de son père, afin que les enfants d'Israël possèdent chacun l'héritage de leurs pères. (Ⅱ) - καὶ πα̃σα θυγάτηρ ἀγχιστεύουσα κληρονομίαν ἐκ τω̃ν φυλω̃ν υἱω̃ν Ισραηλ ἑνὶ τω̃ν ἐκ του̃ δήμου του̃ πατρὸς αὐτη̃ς ἔσονται γυναι̃κες ἵνα ἀγχιστεύσωσιν οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ ἕκαστος τὴν κληρονομίαν τὴν πατρικὴν αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ) - et cunctæ feminæ de eadem tribu maritos accipient : ut hæreditas permaneat in familiis, (Ⅳ) - 8 ׃36 וכל בת ירשת נחלה ממטות בני ישראל לאחד ממשפחת מטה אביה תהיה לאשה למען יירשו בני ישראל איש נחלת אבתיו (Ⅴ)

Neither shall the inheritance remove from one tribe to another tribe; but every one of the tribes of the children of Israel shall keep himself to his own inheritance.
- Aucun héritage ne passera d'une tribu à une autre tribu, mais les tribus des enfants d'Israël s'attacheront chacune à son héritage. (Ⅱ) - καὶ οὐ περιστραφήσεται κλη̃ρος ἐκ φυλη̃ς ἐπὶ φυλὴν ἑτέραν ἀλλὰ ἕκαστος ἐν τη̨̃ κληρονομία̨ αὐτου̃ προσκολληθήσονται οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ (Ⅲ) - nec sibi misceantur tribus, sed ita maneant (Ⅳ) - 9 ׃36 ולא תסב נחלה ממטה למטה אחר כי איש בנחלתו ידבקו מטות בני ישראל (Ⅴ)

Even as the LORD commanded Moses, so did the daughters of Zelophehad:
- Les filles de Tselophchad se conformèrent à l'ordre que l'Éternel avait donné à Moïse. (Ⅱ) - ὃν τρόπον συνέταξεν κύριος Μωυση̨̃ οὕτως ἐποίησαν θυγατέρες Σαλπααδ (Ⅲ) - ut a Domino separatæ sunt. Feceruntque filiæ Salphaad ut fuerat imperatum : (Ⅳ) - 10 ׃36 כאשר צוה יהוה את משה כן עשו בנות צלפחד (Ⅴ)

For Mahlah, Tirzah, and Hoglah, and Milcah, and Noah, the daughters of Zelophehad, were married unto their father's brothers' sons:
- Machla, Thirtsa, Hogla, Milca et Noa, filles de Tselophchad, se marièrent aux fils de leurs oncles; (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐγένοντο Θερσα καὶ Εγλα καὶ Μελχα καὶ Νουα καὶ Μααλα θυγατέρες Σαλπααδ τοι̃ς ἀνεψιοι̃ς αὐτω̃ν (Ⅲ) - et nupserunt Maala, et Thersa, et Hegla, et Melcha, et Noa, filiis patrui sui (Ⅳ) - 11 ׃36 ותהיינה מחלה תרצה וחגלה ומלכה ונעה בנות צלפחד לבני דדיהן לנשים (Ⅴ)

And they were married into the families of the sons of Manasseh the son of Joseph, and their inheritance remained in the tribe of the family of their father.
- elles se marièrent dans les familles des fils de Manassé, fils de Joseph, et leur héritage resta dans la tribu de la famille de leur père. (Ⅱ) - ἐκ του̃ δήμου του̃ Μανασση υἱω̃ν Ιωσηφ ἐγενήθησαν γυναι̃κες καὶ ἐγένετο ἡ κληρονομία αὐτω̃ν ἐπὶ τὴν φυλὴν δήμου του̃ πατρὸς αὐτω̃ν (Ⅲ) - de familia Manasse, qui fuit filius Joseph : et possessio, quæ illis fuerat attributa, mansit in tribu et familia patris earum. (Ⅳ) - 12 ׃36 ממשפחת בני מנשה בן יוסף היו לנשים ותהי נחלתן על מטה משפחת אביהן (Ⅴ)

These are the commandments and the judgments, which the LORD commanded by the hand of Moses unto the children of Israel in the plains of Moab by Jordan near Jericho.
- Tels sont les commandements et les lois que l'Éternel donna par Moïse aux enfants d'Israël, dans les plaines de Moab, près du Jourdain, vis-à-vis de Jéricho. (Ⅱ) - αὑ̃ται αἱ ἐντολαὶ καὶ τὰ δικαιώματα καὶ τὰ κρίματα ἃ ἐνετείλατο κύριος ἐν χειρὶ Μωυση̃ ἐπὶ δυσμω̃ν Μωαβ ἐπὶ του̃ Ιορδάνου κατὰ Ιεριχω (Ⅲ) - Hæc sunt mandata atque judicia, quæ mandavit Dominus per manum Moysi ad filios Israël, in campestribus Moab supra Jordanem contra Jericho. (Ⅳ) - 13 ׃36 אלה המצות והמשפטים אשר צוה יהוה ביד משה אל בני ישראל בערבת מואב על ירדן ירחו (Ⅴ)
