And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
- L'Éternel parla à Moïse, et dit: (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυση̃ν λέγων (Ⅲ) - Locutusque est Dominus ad Moysen, dicens : (Ⅳ) - 1 ׃8 וידבר יהוה אל משה לאמר (Ⅴ)

Speak unto Aaron and say unto him, When thou lightest the lamps, the seven lamps shall give light over against the candlestick.
- Parle à Aaron, et tu lui diras: Lorsque tu placeras les lampes sur le chandelier, les sept lampes devront éclairer en face. (Ⅱ) - λάλησον τω̨̃ Ααρων καὶ ἐρει̃ς πρὸς αὐτόν ὅταν ἐπιτιθη̨̃ς τοὺς λύχνους ἐκ μέρους κατὰ πρόσωπον τη̃ς λυχνίας φωτιου̃σιν οἱ ἑπτὰ λύχνοι (Ⅲ) - Loquere Aaron, et dices ad eum : Cum posueris septem lucernas, candelabrum in australi parte erigatur. Hoc igitur præcipe ut lucernæ contra boream e regione respiciant ad mensam panum propositionis, contra eam partem, quam candelabrum respicit, lucere debebunt. (Ⅳ) - 2 ׃8 דבר אל אהרן ואמרת אליו בהעלתך את הנרת אל מול פני המנורה יאירו שבעת הנרות (Ⅴ)

And Aaron did so; he lighted the lamps thereof over against the candlestick, as the LORD commanded Moses.
- Aaron fit ainsi; il plaça les lampes sur le devant du chandelier, comme l'Éternel l'avait ordonné à Moïse. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐποίησεν οὕτως Ααρων ἐκ του̃ ἑνὸς μέρους κατὰ πρόσωπον τη̃ς λυχνίας ἐξη̃ψεν τοὺς λύχνους αὐτη̃ς καθὰ συνέταξεν κύριος τω̨̃ Μωυση̨̃ (Ⅲ) - Fecitque Aaron, et imposuit lucernas super candelabrum, ut præceperat Dominus Moysi. (Ⅳ) - 3 ׃8 ויעש כן אהרן אל מול פני המנורה העלה נרתיה כאשר צוה יהוה את משה (Ⅴ)

And this work of the candlestick was of beaten gold, unto the shaft thereof, unto the flowers thereof, was beaten work: according unto the pattern which the LORD had showed Moses, so he made the candlestick.
- Le chandelier était d'or battu; jusqu'à son pied, jusqu'à ses fleurs, il était d'or battu; Moïse avait fait le chandelier d'après le modèle que l'Éternel lui avait montré. (Ⅱ) - καὶ αὕτη ἡ κατασκευὴ τη̃ς λυχνίας στερεὰ χρυση̃ ὁ καυλὸς αὐτη̃ς καὶ τὰ κρίνα αὐτη̃ς στερεὰ ὅλη κατὰ τὸ εἰ̃δος ὃ ἔδειξεν κύριος τω̨̃ Μωυση̨̃ οὕτως ἐποίησεν τὴν λυχνίαν (Ⅲ) - Hæc autem erat factura candelabri, ex auro ductili, tam medius stipes, quam cuncta quæ ex utroque calamorum latere nascebantur : juxta exemplum quod ostendit Dominus Moysi, ita operatus est candelabrum.\ (Ⅳ) - 4 ׃8 וזה מעשה המנרה מקשה זהב עד ירכה עד פרחה מקשה הוא כמראה אשר הראה יהוה את משה כן עשה את המנרה פ (Ⅴ)

And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

Take the Levites from among the children of Israel, and cleanse them.
- Prends les Lévites du milieu des enfants d'Israël, et purifie-les. (Ⅱ) - λαβὲ τοὺς Λευίτας ἐκ μέσου υἱω̃ν Ισραηλ καὶ ἀφαγνιει̃ς αὐτούς (Ⅲ) - Tolle Levitas de medio filiorum Israël, et purificabis eos (Ⅳ) - 6 ׃8 קח את הלוים מתוך בני ישראל וטהרת אתם (Ⅴ)

And thus shalt thou do unto them, to cleanse them: Sprinkle water of purifying upon them, and let them shave all their flesh, and let them wash their clothes, and so make themselves clean.
- Voici comment tu les purifieras. Fais sur eux une aspersion d'eau expiatoire; qu'ils fassent passer le rasoir sur tout leur corps, qu'ils lavent leurs vêtements, et qu'ils se purifient. (Ⅱ) - καὶ οὕτως ποιήσεις αὐτοι̃ς τὸν ἁγνισμὸν αὐτω̃ν περιρρανει̃ς αὐτοὺς ὕδωρ ἁγνισμου̃ καὶ ἐπελεύσεται ξυρὸν ἐπὶ πα̃ν τὸ σω̃μα αὐτω̃ν καὶ πλυνου̃σιν τὰ ἱμάτια αὐτω̃ν καὶ καθαροὶ ἔσονται (Ⅲ) - juxta hunc ritum : aspergantur aqua lustrationis, et radant omnes pilos carnis suæ. Cumque laverint vestimenta sua, et mundati fuerint, (Ⅳ) - 7 ׃8 וכה תעשה להם לטהרם הזה עליהם מי חטאת והעבירו תער על כל בשרם וכבסו בגדיהם והטהרו (Ⅴ)

Then let them take a young bullock with his meat offering, even fine flour mingled with oil, and another young bullock shalt thou take for a sin offering.
- Ils prendront ensuite un jeune taureau, avec l'offrande ordinaire de fleur de farine pétrie à l'huile; et tu prendras un autre jeune taureau pour le sacrifice d'expiation. (Ⅱ) - καὶ λήμψονται μόσχον ἕνα ἐκ βοω̃ν καὶ τούτου θυσίαν σεμιδάλεως ἀναπεποιημένην ἐν ἐλαίω̨ καὶ μόσχον ἐνιαύσιον ἐκ βοω̃ν λήμψη̨ περὶ ἁμαρτίας (Ⅲ) - tollent bovem de armentis, et libamentum ejus similam oleo conspersam : bovem autem alterum de armento tu accipies pro peccato : (Ⅳ) - 8 ׃8 ולקחו פר בן בקר ומנחתו סלת בלולה בשמן ופר שני בן בקר תקח לחטאת (Ⅴ)

And thou shalt bring the Levites before the tabernacle of the congregation: and thou shalt gather the whole assembly of the children of Israel together:
- Tu feras approcher les Lévites devant la tente d'assignation, et tu convoqueras toute l'assemblée des enfants d'Israël. (Ⅱ) - καὶ προσάξεις τοὺς Λευίτας ἔναντι τη̃ς σκηνη̃ς του̃ μαρτυρίου καὶ συνάξεις πα̃σαν συναγωγὴν υἱω̃ν Ισραηλ (Ⅲ) - et applicabis Levitas coram tabernaculo fœderis, convocata omni multitudine filiorum Israël. (Ⅳ) - 9 ׃8 והקרבת את הלוים לפני אהל מועד והקהלת את כל עדת בני ישראל (Ⅴ)

And thou shalt bring the Levites before the LORD: and the children of Israel shall put their hands upon the Levites:
- Tu feras approcher les Lévites devant l'Éternel; et les enfants d'Israël poseront leurs mains sur les Lévites. (Ⅱ) - καὶ προσάξεις τοὺς Λευίτας ἔναντι κυρίου καὶ ἐπιθήσουσιν οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ τὰς χει̃ρας αὐτω̃ν ἐπὶ τοὺς Λευίτας (Ⅲ) - Cumque Levitæ fuerint coram Domino, ponent filii Israël manus suas super eos. (Ⅳ) - 10 ׃8 והקרבת את הלוים לפני יהוה וסמכו בני ישראל את ידיהם על הלוים (Ⅴ)

And Aaron shall offer the Levites before the LORD for an offering of the children of Israel, that they may execute the service of the LORD.
- Aaron fera tourner de côté et d'autre les Lévites devant l'Éternel, comme une offrande de la part des enfants d'Israël; et ils seront consacrés au service de l'Éternel. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἀφοριει̃ Ααρων τοὺς Λευίτας ἀπόδομα ἔναντι κυρίου παρὰ τω̃ν υἱω̃ν Ισραηλ καὶ ἔσονται ὥστε ἐργάζεσθαι τὰ ἔργα κυρίου (Ⅲ) - Et offeret Aaron Levitas, munus in conspectu Domini a filiis Israël, ut serviant in ministerio ejus. (Ⅳ) - 11 ׃8 והניף אהרן את הלוים תנופה לפני יהוה מאת בני ישראל והיו לעבד את עבדת יהוה (Ⅴ)

And the Levites shall lay their hands upon the heads of the bullocks: and thou shalt offer the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering, unto the LORD, to make an atonement for the Levites.
- Les Lévites poseront leurs mains sur la tête des taureaux; et tu offriras l'un en sacrifice d'expiation, et l'autre en holocauste, afin de faire l'expiation pour les Lévites. (Ⅱ) - οἱ δὲ Λευι̃ται ἐπιθήσουσιν τὰς χει̃ρας ἐπὶ τὰς κεφαλὰς τω̃ν μόσχων καὶ ποιήσει τὸν ἕνα περὶ ἁμαρτίας καὶ τὸν ἕνα εἰς ὁλοκαύτωμα κυρίω̨ ἐξιλάσασθαι περὶ αὐτω̃ν (Ⅲ) - Levitæ quoque ponent manus suas super capita boum, e quibus unum facies pro peccato, et alterum in holocaustum Domini, ut depreceris pro eis. (Ⅳ) - 12 ׃8 והלוים יסמכו את ידיהם על ראש הפרים ועשה את האחד חטאת ואת האחד עלה ליהוה לכפר על הלוים (Ⅴ)

And thou shalt set the Levites before Aaron, and before his sons, and offer them for an offering unto the LORD.
- Tu feras tenir les Lévites debout devant Aaron et devant ses fils, et tu les feras tourner de côté et d'autre comme une offrande à l'Éternel. (Ⅱ) - καὶ στήσεις τοὺς Λευίτας ἔναντι κυρίου καὶ ἔναντι Ααρων καὶ ἔναντι τω̃ν υἱω̃ν αὐτου̃ καὶ ἀποδώσεις αὐτοὺς ἀπόδομα ἔναντι κυρίου (Ⅲ) - Statuesque Levitas in conspectu Aaron et filiorum ejus, et consecrabis oblatos Domino, (Ⅳ) - 13 ׃8 והעמדת את הלוים לפני אהרן ולפני בניו והנפת אתם תנופה ליהוה (Ⅴ)

Thus shalt thou separate the Levites from among the children of Israel: and the Levites shall be mine.
- Tu sépareras les Lévites du milieu des enfants d'Israël; et les Lévites m'appartiendront. (Ⅱ) - καὶ διαστελει̃ς τοὺς Λευίτας ἐκ μέσου υἱω̃ν Ισραηλ καὶ ἔσονται ἐμοί (Ⅲ) - ac separabis de medio filiorum Israël, ut sint mei. (Ⅳ) - 14 ׃8 והבדלת את הלוים מתוך בני ישראל והיו לי הלוים (Ⅴ)

And after that shall the Levites go in to do the service of the tabernacle of the congregation: and thou shalt cleanse them, and offer them for an offering.
- Après cela, les Lévites viendront faire le service dans la tente d'assignation. C'est ainsi que tu les purifieras, et que tu les feras tourner de côté et d'autre comme une offrande. (Ⅱ) - καὶ μετὰ ταυ̃τα εἰσελεύσονται οἱ Λευι̃ται ἐργάζεσθαι τὰ ἔργα τη̃ς σκηνη̃ς του̃ μαρτυρίου καὶ καθαριει̃ς αὐτοὺς καὶ ἀποδώσεις αὐτοὺς ἔναντι κυρίου (Ⅲ) - Et postea ingredientur tabernaculum fœderis, ut serviant mihi. Sicque purificabis et consecrabis eos in oblationem Domini : quoniam dono donati sunt mihi a filiis Israël. (Ⅳ) - 15 ׃8 ואחרי כן יבאו הלוים לעבד את אהל מועד וטהרת אתם והנפת אתם תנופה (Ⅴ)

For they are wholly given unto me from among the children of Israel; instead of such as open every womb, even instead of the firstborn of all the children of Israel, have I taken them unto me.
- Car ils me sont entièrement donnés du milieu des enfants d'Israël: je les ai pris pour moi à la place des premiers-nés, de tous les premiers-nés des enfants d'Israël. (Ⅱ) - ὅτι ἀπόδομα ἀποδεδομένοι οὑ̃τοί μοί εἰσιν ἐκ μέσου υἱω̃ν Ισραηλ ἀντὶ τω̃ν διανοιγόντων πα̃σαν μήτραν πρωτοτόκων πάντων ἐκ τω̃ν υἱω̃ν Ισραηλ εἴληφα αὐτοὺς ἐμοί (Ⅲ) - Pro primogenitis quæ aperiunt omnem vulvam in Israël, accepi eos. (Ⅳ) - 16 ׃8 כי נתנים נתנים המה לי מתוך בני ישראל תחת פטרת כל רחם בכור כל מבני ישראל לקחתי אתם לי (Ⅴ)

For all the firstborn of the children of Israel are mine, both man and beast: on the day that I smote every firstborn in the land of Egypt I sanctified them for myself.
- Car tout premier-né des enfants d'Israël m'appartient, tant des hommes que des animaux; le jour où j'ai frappé tous les premiers-nés dans le pays d'Égypte, je me les suis consacrés. (Ⅱ) - ὅτι ἐμοὶ πα̃ν πρωτότοκον ἐν υἱοι̃ς Ισραηλ ἀπὸ ἀνθρώπου ἕως κτήνους ἡ̨̃ ἡμέρα̨ ἐπάταξα πα̃ν πρωτότοκον ἐν γη̨̃ Αἰγύπτω̨ ἡγίασα αὐτοὺς ἐμοὶ (Ⅲ) - Mea sunt enim omnia primogenita filiorum Israël, tam ex hominibus quam ex jumentis. Ex die quo percussi omne primogenitum in terra Ægypti, sanctificavi eos mihi : (Ⅳ) - 17 ׃8 כי לי כל בכור בבני ישראל באדם ובבהמה ביום הכתי כל בכור בארץ מצרים הקדשתי אתם לי (Ⅴ)

And I have taken the Levites for all the firstborn of the children of Israel.
- Et j'ai pris les Lévites à la place de tous les premiers-nés des enfants d'Israël. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἔλαβον τοὺς Λευίτας ἀντὶ παντὸς πρωτοτόκου ἐν υἱοι̃ς Ισραηλ (Ⅲ) - et tuli Levitas pro cunctis primogenitis filiorum Israël, (Ⅳ) - 18 ׃8 ואקח את הלוים תחת כל בכור בבני ישראל (Ⅴ)

And I have given the Levites as a gift to Aaron and to his sons from among the children of Israel, to do the service of the children of Israel in the tabernacle of the congregation, and to make an atonement for the children of Israel: that there be no plague among the children of Israel, when the children of Israel come nigh unto the sanctuary.
- J'ai donné les Lévites entièrement à Aaron et à ses fils, du milieu des enfants d'Israël, pour qu'ils fassent le service des enfants d'Israël dans la tente d'assignation, pour qu'ils fassent l'expiation pour les enfants d'Israël, et pour que les enfants d'Israël ne soient frappés d'aucune plaie, en s'approchant du sanctuaire. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἀπέδωκα τοὺς Λευίτας ἀπόδομα δεδομένους Ααρων καὶ τοι̃ς υἱοι̃ς αὐτου̃ ἐκ μέσου υἱω̃ν Ισραηλ ἐργάζεσθαι τὰ ἔργα τω̃ν υἱω̃ν Ισραηλ ἐν τη̨̃ σκηνη̨̃ του̃ μαρτυρίου καὶ ἐξιλάσκεσθαι περὶ τω̃ν υἱω̃ν Ισραηλ καὶ οὐκ ἔσται ἐν τοι̃ς υἱοι̃ς Ισραηλ προσεγγίζων πρὸς τὰ ἅγια (Ⅲ) - tradidique eos dono Aaron et filiis ejus de medio populi, ut serviant mihi pro Israël in tabernaculo fœderis, et orent pro eis ne sit in populo plaga, si ausi fuerint accedere ad sanctuarium. (Ⅳ) - 19 ׃8 ואתנה את הלוים נתנים לאהרן ולבניו מתוך בני ישראל לעבד את עבדת בני ישראל באהל מועד ולכפר על בני ישראל ולא יהיה בבני ישראל נגף בגשת בני ישראל אל הקדש (Ⅴ)

And Moses, and Aaron, and all the congregation of the children of Israel, did to the Levites according unto all that the LORD commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so did the children of Israel unto them.
- Moïse, Aaron et toute l'assemblée des enfants d'Israël, firent à l'égard des Lévites tout ce que l'Éternel avait ordonné à Moïse touchant les Lévites; ainsi firent à leur égard les enfants d'Israël. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐποίησεν Μωυση̃ς καὶ Ααρων καὶ πα̃σα συναγωγὴ υἱω̃ν Ισραηλ τοι̃ς Λευίταις καθὰ ἐνετείλατο κύριος τω̨̃ Μωυση̨̃ περὶ τω̃ν Λευιτω̃ν οὕτως ἐποίησαν αὐτοι̃ς οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ (Ⅲ) - Feceruntque Moyses et Aaron et omnis multitudo filiorum Israël super Levitas quæ præceperat Dominus Moysi : (Ⅳ) - 20 ׃8 ויעש משה ואהרן וכל עדת בני ישראל ללוים ככל אשר צוה יהוה את משה ללוים כן עשו להם בני ישראל (Ⅴ)

And the Levites were purified, and they washed their clothes; and Aaron offered them as an offering before the LORD; and Aaron made an atonement for them to cleanse them.
- Les Lévites se purifièrent, et lavèrent leurs vêtements; Aaron les fit tourner de côté et d'autre comme une offrande devant l'Éternel, et il fit l'expiation pour eux, afin de les purifier. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἡγνίσαντο οἱ Λευι̃ται καὶ ἐπλύναντο τὰ ἱμάτια καὶ ἀπέδωκεν αὐτοὺς Ααρων ἀπόδομα ἔναντι κυρίου καὶ ἐξιλάσατο περὶ αὐτω̃ν Ααρων ἀφαγνίσασθαι αὐτούς (Ⅲ) - purificatique sunt, et laverunt vestimenta sua. Elevavitque eos Aaron in conspectu Domini, et oravit pro eis, (Ⅳ) - 21 ׃8 ויתחטאו הלוים ויכבסו בגדיהם וינף אהרן אתם תנופה לפני יהוה ויכפר עליהם אהרן לטהרם (Ⅴ)

And after that went the Levites in to do their service in the tabernacle of the congregation before Aaron, and before his sons: as the LORD had commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so did they unto them.
- Après cela, les Lévites vinrent faire leur service dans la tente d'assignation, en présence d'Aaron et de ses fils, selon ce que l'Éternel avait ordonné à Moïse touchant les Lévites; ainsi fut-il fait à leur égard. (Ⅱ) - καὶ μετὰ ταυ̃τα εἰση̃λθον οἱ Λευι̃ται λειτουργει̃ν τὴν λειτουργίαν αὐτω̃ν ἐν τη̨̃ σκηνη̨̃ του̃ μαρτυρίου ἔναντι Ααρων καὶ ἔναντι τω̃ν υἱω̃ν αὐτου̃ καθὼς συνέταξεν κύριος τω̨̃ Μωυση̨̃ περὶ τω̃ν Λευιτω̃ν οὕτως ἐποίησαν αὐτοι̃ς (Ⅲ) - ut purificati ingrederentur ad officia sua in tabernaculum fœderis coram Aaron et filiis ejus. Sicut præceperat Dominus Moysi de Levitis, ita factum est. (Ⅳ) - 22 ׃8 ואחרי כן באו הלוים לעבד את עבדתם באהל מועד לפני אהרן ולפני בניו כאשר צוה יהוה את משה על הלוים כן עשו להם ס (Ⅴ)

And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
- L'Éternel parla à Moïse, et dit: (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυση̃ν λέγων (Ⅲ) - Locutusque est Dominus ad Moysen, dicens : (Ⅳ) - 23 ׃8 וידבר יהוה אל משה לאמר (Ⅴ)

This is it that belongeth unto the Levites: from twenty and five years old and upward they shall go in to wait upon the service of the tabernacle of the congregation:
- Voici ce qui concerne les Lévites. Depuis l'âge de vingt-cinq ans et au-dessus, tout Lévite entrera au service de la tente d'assignation pour y exercer une fonction. (Ⅱ) - του̃τό ἐστιν τὸ περὶ τω̃ν Λευιτω̃ν ἀπὸ πεντεκαιεικοσαετου̃ς καὶ ἐπάνω εἰσελεύσονται ἐνεργει̃ν ἐν τη̨̃ σκηνη̨̃ του̃ μαρτυρίου (Ⅲ) - Hæc est lex Levitarum : a viginti quinque annis et supra, ingredientur ut ministrent in tabernaculo fœderis. (Ⅳ) - 24 ׃8 זאת אשר ללוים מבן חמש ועשרים שנה ומעלה יבוא לצבא צבא בעבדת אהל מועד (Ⅴ)

And from the age of fifty years they shall cease waiting upon the service thereof, and shall serve no more:
- Depuis l'âge de cinquante ans, il sortira de fonction, et ne servira plus. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἀπὸ πεντηκονταετου̃ς ἀποστήσεται ἀπὸ τη̃ς λειτουργίας καὶ οὐκ ἐργα̃ται ἔτι (Ⅲ) - Cumque quinquagesimum annum ætatis impleverint, servire cessabunt, (Ⅳ) - 25 ׃8 ומבן חמשים שנה ישוב מצבא העבדה ולא יעבד עוד (Ⅴ)

But shall minister with their brethren in the tabernacle of the congregation, to keep the charge, and shall do no service. Thus shalt thou do unto the Levites touching their charge.
- Il aidera ses frères dans la tente d'assignation, pour garder ce qui est remis à leurs soins; mais il ne fera plus de service. Tu agiras ainsi à l'égard des Lévites pour ce qui concerne leurs fonctions. (Ⅱ) - καὶ λειτουργήσει ὁ ἀδελφὸς αὐτου̃ ἐν τη̨̃ σκηνη̨̃ του̃ μαρτυρίου φυλάσσειν φυλακάς ἔργα δὲ οὐκ ἐργα̃ται οὕτως ποιήσεις τοι̃ς Λευίταις ἐν ται̃ς φυλακαι̃ς αὐτω̃ν (Ⅲ) - eruntque ministri fratrum suorum in tabernaculo fœderis, ut custodiant quæ sibi fuerunt commendata : opera autem ipsa non faciant. Sic dispones Levitis in custodiis suis. (Ⅳ) - 26 ׃8 ושרת את אחיו באהל מועד לשמר משמרת ועבדה לא יעבד ככה תעשה ללוים במשמרתם פ (Ⅴ)
