22. 1

Thou shalt not see thy brother's ox or his sheep go astray, and hide thyself from them: thou shalt in any case bring them again unto thy brother.

- Si tu vois s'égarer le boeuf ou la brebis de ton frère, tu ne t'en détourneras point, tu les ramèneras à ton frère. (Ⅱ)

- μὴ ἰδὼν τὸν μόσχον του̃ ἀδελφου̃ σου ἢ τὸ πρόβατον αὐτου̃ πλανώμενα ἐν τη̨̃ ὁδω̨̃ ὑπερίδη̨ς αὐτά ἀποστροφη̨̃ ἀποστρέψεις αὐτὰ τω̨̃ ἀδελφω̨̃ σου καὶ ἀποδώσεις αὐτω̨̃ (Ⅲ)

- Non videbis bovem fratris tui, aut ovem errantem, et præteribis : sed reduces fratri tuo, (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 1 ׃22 לא תראה את שור אחיך או את שיו נדחים והתעלמת מהם השב תשיבם לאחיך ‬ (Ⅴ)

22. 2

And if thy brother be not nigh unto thee, or if thou know him not, then thou shalt bring it unto thine own house, and it shall be with thee until thy brother seek after it, and thou shalt restore it to him again.

- Si ton frère n'habite pas près de toi, et que tu ne le connaisses pas, tu recueilleras l'animal dans ta maison et il restera chez toi jusqu'à ce que ton frère le réclame; et alors tu le lui rendras. (Ⅱ)

- ἐὰν δὲ μὴ ἐγγίζη̨ ὁ ἀδελφός σου πρὸς σὲ μηδὲ ἐπίστη̨ αὐτόν συνάξεις αὐτὰ ἔνδον εἰς τὴν οἰκίαν σου καὶ ἔσται μετὰ σου̃ ἕως ἂν ζητήση̨ αὐτὰ ὁ ἀδελφός σου καὶ ἀποδώσεις αὐτω̨̃ (Ⅲ)

- etiamsi non est propinquus frater tuus, nec nosti eum : duces in domum tuam, et erunt apud te quamdiu quærat ea frater tuus, et recipiat. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 2 ׃22 ואם לא קרוב אחיך אליך ולא ידעתו ואספתו אל תוך ביתך והיה עמך עד דרש אחיך אתו והשבתו לו ‬ (Ⅴ)

22. 3

In like manner shalt thou do with his ass; and so shalt thou do with his raiment; and with all lost thing of thy brother's, which he hath lost, and thou hast found, shalt thou do likewise: thou mayest not hide thyself.

- Tu feras de même pour son âne, tu feras de même pour son vêtement, tu feras de même pour tout objet qu'il aurait perdu et que tu trouverais; tu ne devras point t'en détourner. (Ⅱ)

- οὕτως ποιήσεις τὸν ὄνον αὐτου̃ καὶ οὕτως ποιήσεις τὸ ἱμάτιον αὐτου̃ καὶ οὕτως ποιήσεις κατὰ πα̃σαν ἀπώλειαν του̃ ἀδελφου̃ σου ὅσα ἐὰν ἀπόληται παρ' αὐτου̃ καὶ εὕρη̨ς οὐ δυνήση̨ ὑπεριδει̃ν (Ⅲ)

- Similiter facies de asino, et de vestimento, et de omni re fratris tui, quæ perierit : si inveneris eam, ne negligas quasi alienam. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 3 ׃22 וכן תעשה לחמרו וכן תעשה לשמלתו וכן תעשה לכל אבדת אחיך אשר תאבד ממנו ומצאתה לא תוכל להתעלם ס‬ (Ⅴ)

22. 4

Thou shalt not see thy brother's ass or his ox fall down by the way, and hide thyself from them: thou shalt surely help him to lift them up again.

- Si tu vois l'âne de ton frère ou son boeuf tombé dans le chemin, tu ne t'en détourneras point, tu l'aideras à le relever. (Ⅱ)

- οὐκ ὄψη̨ τὸν ὄνον του̃ ἀδελφου̃ σου ἢ τὸν μόσχον αὐτου̃ πεπτωκότας ἐν τη̨̃ ὁδω̨̃ μὴ ὑπερίδη̨ς αὐτούς ἀνιστω̃ν ἀναστήσεις μετ' αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ)

- Si videris asinum fratris tui aut bovem cecidisse in via, non despicies, sed sublevabis cum eo.\ (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 4 ׃22 לא תראה את חמור אחיך או שורו נפלים בדרך והתעלמת מהם הקם תקים עמו ס‬ (Ⅴ)

22. 5

The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman's garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the LORD thy God.

- Une femme ne portera point un habillement d'homme, et un homme ne mettra point des vêtements de femme; car quiconque fait ces choses est en abomination à l'Éternel, ton Dieu. (Ⅱ)

- οὐκ ἔσται σκεύη ἀνδρὸς ἐπὶ γυναικί οὐδὲ μὴ ἐνδύσηται ἀνὴρ στολὴν γυναικείαν ὅτι βδέλυγμα κυρίω̨ τω̨̃ θεω̨̃ σού ἐστιν πα̃ς ποιω̃ν ταυ̃τα (Ⅲ)

- Non induetur mulier veste virili, nec vir utetur veste feminea : abominabilis enim apud Deum est qui facit hæc. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 5 ׃22 לא יהיה כלי גבר על אשה ולא ילבש גבר שמלת אשה כי תועבת יהוה אלהיך כל עשה אלה פ‬ (Ⅴ)

22. 6

If a bird's nest chance to be before thee in the way in any tree, or on the ground, whether they be young ones, or eggs, and the dam sitting upon the young, or upon the eggs, thou shalt not take the dam with the young:

- Si tu rencontres dans ton chemin un nid d'oiseau, sur un arbre ou sur la terre, avec des petits ou des oeufs, et la mère couchée sur les petits ou sur les oeufs, tu ne prendras pas la mère et les petits, (Ⅱ)

- ἐὰν δὲ συναντήση̨ς νοσσια̨̃ ὀρνέων πρὸ προσώπου σου ἐν τη̨̃ ὁδω̨̃ ἢ ἐπὶ παντὶ δένδρει ἢ ἐπὶ τη̃ς γη̃ς νεοσσοι̃ς ἢ ὠ̨οι̃ς καὶ ἡ μήτηρ θάλπη̨ ἐπὶ τω̃ν νεοσσω̃ν ἢ ἐπὶ τω̃ν ὠ̨ω̃ν οὐ λήμψη̨ τὴν μητέρα μετὰ τω̃ν τέκνων (Ⅲ)

- Si ambulans per viam, in arbore vel in terra nidum avis inveneris, et matrem pullis vel ovis desuper incubantem : non tenebis eam cum filiis, (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 6 ׃22 כי יקרא קן צפור לפניך בדרך בכל עץ או על הארץ אפרחים או ביצים והאם רבצת על האפרחים או על הביצים לא תקח האם על הבנים ‬ (Ⅴ)

22. 7

But thou shalt in any wise let the dam go, and take the young to thee; that it may be well with thee, and that thou mayest prolong thy days.

- tu laisseras aller la mère et tu ne prendras que les petits, afin que tu sois heureux et que tu prolonges tes jours. (Ⅱ)

- ἀποστολη̨̃ ἀποστελει̃ς τὴν μητέρα τὰ δὲ παιδία λήμψη̨ σεαυτω̨̃ ἵνα εὐ̃ σοι γένηται καὶ πολυήμερος ἔση̨ (Ⅲ)

- sed abire patieris, captos tenens filios : ut bene sit tibi, et longo vivas tempore. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 7 ׃22 שלח תשלח את האם ואת הבנים תקח לך למען ייטב לך והארכת ימים ס‬ (Ⅴ)

22. 8

When thou buildest a new house, then thou shalt make a battlement for thy roof, that thou bring not blood upon thine house, if any man fall from thence.

- Si tu bâtis une maison neuve, tu feras une balustrade autour de ton toit, afin de ne pas mettre du sang sur ta maison, dans le cas où il en tomberait quelqu'un. (Ⅱ)

- ἐὰν δὲ οἰκοδομήση̨ς οἰκίαν καινήν καὶ ποιήσεις στεφάνην τω̨̃ δώματί σου καὶ οὐ ποιήσεις φόνον ἐν τη̨̃ οἰκία̨ σου ἐὰν πέση̨ ὁ πεσὼν ἀπ' αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ)

- Cum ædificaveris domum novam, facies murum tecti per circuitum : ne effundatur sanguis in domo tua, et sis reus labente alio, et in præceps ruente. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 8 ׃22 כי תבנה בית חדש ועשית מעקה לגגך ולא תשים דמים בביתך כי יפל הנפל ממנו ס‬ (Ⅴ)

22. 9

Thou shalt not sow thy vineyard with divers seeds: lest the fruit of thy seed which thou hast sown, and the fruit of thy vineyard, be defiled.

- Tu ne sèmeras point dans ta vigne diverses semences, de peur que tu ne jouisses ni du produit de ce que tu auras semé ni du produit de la vigne. (Ⅱ)

- οὐ κατασπερει̃ς τὸν ἀμπελω̃νά σου διάφορον ἵνα μὴ ἁγιασθη̨̃ τὸ γένημα καὶ τὸ σπέρμα ὃ ἐὰν σπείρη̨ς μετὰ του̃ γενήματος του̃ ἀμπελω̃νός σου (Ⅲ)

- Non seres vineam tuam altero semine : ne et sementis quam sevisti, et quæ nascuntur ex vinea, pariter sanctificentur. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 9 ׃22 לא תזרע כרמך כלאים פן תקדש המלאה הזרע אשר תזרע ותבואת הכרם ס‬ (Ⅴ)

22. 10

Thou shalt not plow with an ox and an ass together.

- Tu ne laboureras point avec un boeuf et un âne attelés ensemble. (Ⅱ)

- οὐκ ἀροτριάσεις ἐν μόσχω̨ καὶ ὄνω̨ ἐπὶ τὸ αὐτό (Ⅲ)

- Non arabis in bove simul et asino. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 10 ׃22 לא תחרש בשור ובחמר יחדו ס‬ (Ⅴ)

22. 11

Thou shalt not wear a garment of divers sorts, as of woolen and linen together.

- Tu ne porteras point un vêtement tissé de diverses espèces de fils, de laine et de lin réunis ensemble. (Ⅱ)

- οὐκ ἐνδύση̨ κίβδηλον ἔρια καὶ λίνον ἐν τω̨̃ αὐτω̨̃ (Ⅲ)

- Non indueris vestimento, quod ex lana linoque contextum est. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 11 ׃22 לא תלבש שעטנז צמר ופשתים יחדו ס‬ (Ⅴ)

22. 12

Thou shalt make thee fringes upon the four quarters of thy vesture, wherewith thou coverest thyself.

- Tu mettras des franges aux quatre coins du vêtement dont tu te couvriras. (Ⅱ)

- στρεπτὰ ποιήσεις σεαυτω̨̃ ἐπὶ τω̃ν τεσσάρων κρασπέδων τω̃ν περιβολαίων σου ἃ ἐὰν περιβάλη̨ ἐν αὐτοι̃ς (Ⅲ)

- Funiculos in fimbriis facies per quatuor angulos pallii tui, quo operieris.\ (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 12 ׃22 גדלים תעשה לך על ארבע כנפות כסותך אשר תכסה בה ס‬ (Ⅴ)

22. 13

If any man take a wife, and go in unto her, and hate her,

- Si un homme, qui a pris une femme et est allé vers elle, éprouve ensuite de l'aversion pour sa personne, (Ⅱ)

- ἐὰν δέ τις λάβη̨ γυναι̃κα καὶ συνοικήση̨ αὐτη̨̃ καὶ μισήση̨ αὐτὴν (Ⅲ)

- Si duxerit vir uxorem, et postea odio habuerit eam, (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 13 ׃22 כי יקח איש אשה ובא אליה ושנאה ‬ (Ⅴ)

22. 14

And give occasions of speech against her, and bring up an evil name upon her, and say, I took this woman, and when I came to her, I found her not a maid:

- s'il lui impute des choses criminelles et porte atteinte à sa réputation, en disant: J'ai pris cette femme, je me suis approché d'elle, et je ne l'ai pas trouvée vierge, - (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἐπιθη̨̃ αὐτη̨̃ προφασιστικοὺς λόγους καὶ κατενέγκη̨ αὐτη̃ς ὄνομα πονηρὸν καὶ λέγη̨ τὴν γυναι̃κα ταύτην εἴληφα καὶ προσελθὼν αὐτη̨̃ οὐχ εὕρηκα αὐτη̃ς παρθένια (Ⅲ)

- quæsieritque occasiones quibus dimittat eam, objiciens ei nomen pessimum, et dixerit : Uxorem hanc accepi, et ingressus ad eam non inveni virginem : (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 14 ׃22 ושם לה עלילת דברים והוציא עליה שם רע ואמר את האשה הזאת לקחתי ואקרב אליה ולא מצאתי לה בתולים ‬ (Ⅴ)

22. 15

Then shall the father of the damsel, and her mother, take and bring forth the tokens of the damsel's virginity unto the elders of the city in the gate:

- alors le père et la mère de la jeune femme prendront les signes de sa virginité et les produiront devant les anciens de la ville, à la porte. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ λαβὼν ὁ πατὴρ τη̃ς παιδὸς καὶ ἡ μήτηρ ἐξοίσουσιν τὰ παρθένια τη̃ς παιδὸς πρὸς τὴν γερουσίαν ἐπὶ τὴν πύλην (Ⅲ)

- tollent eam pater et mater ejus, et ferent secum signa virginitatis ejus ad seniores urbis qui in porta sunt : (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 15 ׃22 ולקח אבי *הנער **הנערה ואמה והוציאו את בתולי *הנער **הנערה אל זקני העיר השערה ‬ (Ⅴ)

22. 16

And the damsel's father shall say unto the elders, I gave my daughter unto this man to wife, and he hateth her;

- Le père de la jeune femme dira aux anciens: J'ai donné ma fille pour femme à cet homme, et il l'a prise en aversion; (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἐρει̃ ὁ πατὴρ τη̃ς παιδὸς τη̨̃ γερουσία̨ τὴν θυγατέρα μου ταύτην δέδωκα τω̨̃ ἀνθρώπω̨ τούτω̨ γυναι̃κα καὶ μισήσας αὐτὴν (Ⅲ)

- et dicet pater : Filiam meam dedi huic uxorem : quam quia odit, (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 16 ׃22 ואמר אבי *הנער **הנערה‪[Q]‬‪[n]‬‪[v]‬ אל הזקנים את בתי נתתי לאיש הזה לאשה וישנאה ‬ (Ⅴ)

22. 17

And, lo, he hath given occasions of speech against her, saying, I found not thy daughter a maid; and yet these are the tokens of my daughter's virginity. And they shall spread the cloth before the elders of the city.

- il lui impute des choses criminelles, en disant: Je n'ai pas trouvé ta fille vierge. Or voici les signes de virginité de ma fille. Et ils déploieront son vêtement devant les anciens de la ville. (Ⅱ)

- αὐτὸς νυ̃ν ἐπιτίθησιν αὐτη̨̃ προφασιστικοὺς λόγους λέγων οὐχ εὕρηκα τη̨̃ θυγατρί σου παρθένια καὶ ταυ̃τα τὰ παρθένια τη̃ς θυγατρός μου καὶ ἀναπτύξουσιν τὸ ἱμάτιον ἐναντίον τη̃ς γερουσίας τη̃ς πόλεως (Ⅲ)

- imponit ei nomen pessimum, ut dicat : Non inveni filiam tuam virginem : et ecce hæc sunt signa virginitatis filiæ meæ. Expandent vestimentum coram senioribus civitatis : (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 17 ׃22 והנה הוא שם עלילת דברים לאמר לא מצאתי לבתך בתולים ואלה בתולי בתי ופרשו השמלה לפני זקני העיר ‬ (Ⅴ)

22. 18

And the elders of that city shall take that man and chastise him;

- Les anciens de la ville saisiront alors cet homme et le châtieront; (Ⅱ)

- καὶ λήμψεται ἡ γερουσία τη̃ς πόλεως ἐκείνης τὸν ἄνθρωπον ἐκει̃νον καὶ παιδεύσουσιν αὐτὸν (Ⅲ)

- apprehendentque senes urbis illius virum, et verberabunt illum, (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 18 ׃22 ולקחו זקני העיר ההוא את האיש ויסרו אתו ‬ (Ⅴ)

22. 19

And they shall amerce him in an hundred shekels of silver, and give them unto the father of the damsel, because he hath brought up an evil name upon a virgin of Israel: and she shall be his wife; he may not put her away all his days.

- et, parce qu'il a porté atteinte à la réputation d'une vierge d'Israël, ils le condamneront à une amende de cent sicles d'argent, qu'ils donneront au père de la jeune femme. Elle restera sa femme, et il ne pourra pas la renvoyer, tant qu'il vivra. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ζημιώσουσιν αὐτὸν ἑκατὸν σίκλους καὶ δώσουσιν τω̨̃ πατρὶ τη̃ς νεάνιδος ὅτι ἐξήνεγκεν ὄνομα πονηρὸν ἐπὶ παρθένον Ισραηλι̃τιν καὶ αὐτου̃ ἔσται γυνή οὐ δυνήσεται ἐξαποστει̃λαι αὐτὴν τὸν ἅπαντα χρόνον (Ⅲ)

- condemnantes insuper centum siclis argenti, quos dabit patri puellæ, quoniam diffamavit nomen pessimum super virginem Israël : habebitque eam uxorem, et non poterit dimittere eam omnibus diebus vitæ suæ. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 19 ׃22 וענשו אתו מאה כסף ונתנו לאבי הנערה כי הוציא שם רע על בתולת ישראל ולו תהיה לאשה לא יוכל לשלחה‪[Q]‬‪[n]‬‪[p]‬ כל ימיו ס‬ (Ⅴ)

22. 20

But if this thing be true, and the tokens of virginity be not found for the damsel:

- Mais si le fait est vrai, si la jeune femme ne s'est point trouvée vierge, (Ⅱ)

- ἐὰν δὲ ἐπ' ἀληθείας γένηται ὁ λόγος οὑ̃τος καὶ μὴ εὑρεθη̨̃ παρθένια τη̨̃ νεάνιδι (Ⅲ)

- Quod si verum est quod objicit, et non est in puella inventa virginitas, (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 20 ׃22 ואם אמת היה הדבר הזה לא נמצאו בתולים *לנער **לנערה ‬ (Ⅴ)

22. 21

Then they shall bring out the damsel to the door of her father's house, and the men of her city shall stone her with stones that she die: because she hath wrought folly in Israel, to play the whore in her father's house: so shalt thou put evil away from among you.

- on fera sortir la jeune femme à l'entrée de la maison de son père; elle sera lapidée par les gens de la ville, et elle mourra, parce qu'elle a commis une infamie en Israël, en se prostituant dans la maison de son père. Tu ôteras ainsi le mal du milieu de toi. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ ἐξάξουσιν τὴν νεα̃νιν ἐπὶ τὰς θύρας οἴκου πατρὸς αὐτη̃ς καὶ λιθοβολήσουσιν αὐτὴν οἱ ἄνδρες τη̃ς πόλεως αὐτη̃ς ἐν λίθοις καὶ ἀποθανει̃ται ὅτι ἐποίησεν ἀφροσύνην ἐν υἱοι̃ς Ισραηλ ἐκπορνευ̃σαι τὸν οἰ̃κον του̃ πατρὸς αὐτη̃ς καὶ ἐξαρει̃ς τὸν πονηρὸν ἐξ ὑμω̃ν αὐτω̃ν (Ⅲ)

- ejicient eam extra fores domus patris sui, et lapidibus obruent viri civitatis illius, et morietur : quoniam fecit nefas in Israël, ut fornicaretur in domo patris sui : et auferes malum de medio tui. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 21 ׃22 והוציאו את *הנער **הנערה אל פתח בית אביה וסקלוה אנשי עירה באבנים ומתה כי עשתה נבלה בישראל לזנות בית אביה ובערת הרע מקרבך ס‬ (Ⅴ)

22. 22

If a man be found lying with a woman married to an husband, then they shall both of them die, both the man that lay with the woman, and the woman: so shalt thou put away evil from Israel.

- Si l'on trouve un homme couché avec une femme mariée, ils mourront tous deux, l'homme qui a couché avec la femme, et la femme aussi. Tu ôteras ainsi le mal du milieu d'Israël. (Ⅱ)

- ἐὰν δὲ εὑρεθη̨̃ ἄνθρωπος κοιμώμενος μετὰ γυναικὸς συνω̨κισμένης ἀνδρί ἀποκτενει̃τε ἀμφοτέρους τὸν ἄνδρα τὸν κοιμώμενον μετὰ τη̃ς γυναικὸς καὶ τὴν γυναι̃κα καὶ ἐξαρει̃ς τὸν πονηρὸν ἐξ Ισραηλ (Ⅲ)

- Si dormierit vir cum uxore alterius, uterque morietur, id est, adulter et adultera : et auferes malum de Israël.\ (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 22 ׃22 כי ימצא איש שכב עם אשה בעלת בעל ומתו גם שניהם האיש השכב עם האשה והאשה ובערת הרע מישראל ס‬ (Ⅴ)

22. 23

If a damsel that is a virgin be betrothed unto an husband, and a man find her in the city, and lie with her;

- Si une jeune fille vierge est fiancée, et qu'un homme la rencontre dans la ville et couche avec elle, (Ⅱ)

- ἐὰν δὲ γένηται παι̃ς παρθένος μεμνηστευμένη ἀνδρὶ καὶ εὑρὼν αὐτὴν ἄνθρωπος ἐν πόλει κοιμηθη̨̃ μετ' αὐτη̃ς (Ⅲ)

- Si puellam virginem desponderit vir, et invenerit eam aliquis in civitate, et concubuerit cum ea, (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 23 ׃22 כי יהיה *נער **נערה בתולה מארשה לאיש ומצאה איש בעיר ושכב עמה ‬ (Ⅴ)

22. 24

Then ye shall bring them both out unto the gate of that city, and ye shall stone them with stones that they die; the damsel, because she cried not, being in the city; and the man, because he hath humbled his neighbor's wife: so thou shalt put away evil from among you.

- vous les amènerez tous deux à la porte de la ville, vous les lapiderez, et ils mourront, la jeune fille pour n'avoir pas crié dans la ville, et l'homme pour avoir déshonoré la femme de son prochain. Tu ôteras ainsi le mal du milieu de toi. (Ⅱ)

- ἐξάξετε ἀμφοτέρους ἐπὶ τὴν πύλην τη̃ς πόλεως αὐτω̃ν καὶ λιθοβοληθήσονται ἐν λίθοις καὶ ἀποθανου̃νται τὴν νεα̃νιν ὅτι οὐκ ἐβόησεν ἐν τη̨̃ πόλει καὶ τὸν ἄνθρωπον ὅτι ἐταπείνωσεν τὴν γυναι̃κα του̃ πλησίον καὶ ἐξαρει̃ς τὸν πονηρὸν ἐξ ὑμω̃ν αὐτω̃ν (Ⅲ)

- educes utrumque ad portam civitatis illius, et lapidibus obruentur : puella, quia non clamavit, cum esset in civitate : vir, quia humiliavit uxorem proximi sui : et auferes malum de medio tui. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 24 ׃22 והוצאתם את שניהם אל שער העיר ההוא וסקלתם אתם באבנים ומתו את *הנער **הנערה על דבר אשר לא צעקה בעיר ואת האיש על דבר אשר ענה את אשת רעהו ובערת הרע מקרבך ס‬ (Ⅴ)

22. 25

But if a man find a betrothed damsel in the field, and the man force her, and lie with her: then the man only that lay with her shall die.

- Mais si c'est dans les champs que cet homme rencontre la jeune femme fiancée, lui fait violence et couche avec elle, l'homme qui aura couché avec elle sera seul puni de mort. (Ⅱ)

- ἐὰν δὲ ἐν πεδίω̨ εὕρη̨ ἄνθρωπος τὴν παι̃δα τὴν μεμνηστευμένην καὶ βιασάμενος κοιμηθη̨̃ μετ' αὐτη̃ς ἀποκτενει̃τε τὸν ἄνθρωπον τὸν κοιμώμενον μετ' αὐτη̃ς μόνον (Ⅲ)

- Sin autem in agro repererit vir puellam, quæ desponsata est, et apprehendens concubuerit cum ea, ipse morietur solus : (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 25 ׃22 ואם בשדה ימצא האיש את *הנער **הנערה המארשה והחזיק בה האיש ושכב עמה ומת האיש אשר שכב עמה לבדו ‬ (Ⅴ)

22. 26

But unto the damsel thou shalt do nothing; there is in the damsel no sin worthy of death: for as when a man riseth against his neighbor, and slayeth him, even so is this matter:

- Tu ne feras rien à la jeune fille; elle n'est pas coupable d'un crime digne de mort, car il en est de ce cas comme de celui où un homme se jette sur son prochain et lui ôte la vie. (Ⅱ)

- καὶ τη̨̃ νεάνιδι οὐ ποιήσετε οὐδέν οὐκ ἔστιν τη̨̃ νεάνιδι ἁμάρτημα θανάτου ὅτι ὡς εἴ τις ἐπαναστη̨̃ ἄνθρωπος ἐπὶ τὸν πλησίον καὶ φονεύση̨ αὐτου̃ ψυχήν οὕτως τὸ πρα̃γμα του̃το (Ⅲ)

- puella nihil patietur, nec est rea mortis : quoniam sicut latro consurgit contra fratrem suum, et occidit animam ejus, ita et puella perpessa est. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 26 ׃22 *ולנער **ולנערה‪[Q]‬‪[c]‬ לא תעשה דבר אין *לנער **לנערה חטא מות כי כאשר יקום איש על רעהו ורצחו נפש כן הדבר הזה ‬ (Ⅴ)

22. 27

For he found her in the field, and the betrothed damsel cried, and there was none to save her.

- La jeune fille fiancée, que cet homme a rencontrée dans les champs, a pu crier sans qu'il y ait eu personne pour la secourir. (Ⅱ)

- ὅτι ἐν τω̨̃ ἀγρω̨̃ εὑ̃ρεν αὐτήν ἐβόησεν ἡ νεα̃νις ἡ μεμνηστευμένη καὶ ὁ βοηθήσων οὐκ ἠ̃ν αὐτη̨̃ (Ⅲ)

- Sola erat in agro : clamavit, et nullus affuit qui liberaret eam. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 27 ׃22 כי בשדה מצאה צעקה *הנער **הנערה המארשה ואין מושיע לה ס‬ (Ⅴ)

22. 28

If a man find a damsel that is a virgin, which is not betrothed, and lay hold on her, and lie with her, and they be found;

- Si un homme rencontre une jeune fille vierge non fiancée, lui fait violence et couche avec elle, et qu'on vienne à les surprendre, (Ⅱ)

- ἐὰν δέ τις εὕρη̨ τὴν παι̃δα τὴν παρθένον ἥτις οὐ μεμνήστευται καὶ βιασάμενος κοιμηθη̨̃ μετ' αὐτη̃ς καὶ εὑρεθη̨̃ (Ⅲ)

- Si invenerit vir puellam virginem, quæ non habet sponsum, et apprehendens concubuerit cum illa, et res ad judicium venerit : (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 28 ׃22 כי ימצא איש *נער **נערה בתולה אשר לא ארשה ותפשה ושכב עמה ונמצאו ‬ (Ⅴ)

22. 29

Then the man that lay with her shall give unto the damsel's father fifty shekels of silver, and she shall be his wife; because he hath humbled her, he may not put her away all his days.

- l'homme qui aura couché avec elle donnera au père de la jeune fille cinquante sicles d'argent; et, parce qu'il l'a déshonorée, il la prendra pour femme, et il ne pourra pas la renvoyer, tant qu'il vivra. (Ⅱ)

- δώσει ὁ ἄνθρωπος ὁ κοιμηθεὶς μετ' αὐτη̃ς τω̨̃ πατρὶ τη̃ς νεάνιδος πεντήκοντα δίδραχμα ἀργυρίου καὶ αὐτου̃ ἔσται γυνή ἀνθ' ὡ̃ν ἐταπείνωσεν αὐτήν οὐ δυνήσεται ἐξαποστει̃λαι αὐτὴν τὸν ἅπαντα χρόνον (Ⅲ)

- dabit qui dormivit cum ea, patri puellæ quinquaginta siclos argenti, et habebit eam uxorem, quia humiliavit illam : non poterit dimittere eam cunctis diebus vitæ suæ. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 29 ׃22 ונתן האיש השכב עמה לאבי *הנער **הנערה חמשים כסף ולו תהיה לאשה תחת אשר ענה לא יוכל שלחה‪[Q]‬‪[n]‬‪[p]‬ כל ימיו ס‬ (Ⅴ)

22. 30

A man shall not take his father's wife, nor discover his father's skirt.

- Nul ne prendra la femme de son père, et ne soulèvera la couverture de son père. (Ⅱ)

- οὐ λήμψεται ἄνθρωπος τὴν γυναι̃κα του̃ πατρὸς αὐτου̃ καὶ οὐκ ἀποκαλύψει συγκάλυμμα του̃ πατρὸς αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ)

- Non accipiet homo uxorem patris sui, nec revelabit operimentum ejus. (Ⅳ)

- ‫ 1 ׃23 לא יקח איש את אשת אביו ולא יגלה כנף אביו ס‬ (Ⅴ)
