And Moses called unto all Israel, and said unto them, Ye have seen all that the LORD did before your eyes in the land of Egypt unto Pharaoh, and unto all his servants, and unto all his land;
- Moïse convoqua tout Israël, et leur dit: Vous avez vu tout ce que l'Éternel a fait sous vos yeux, dans le pays d'Égypte, à Pharaon, à tous ses serviteurs, et à tout son pays, (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐκάλεσεν Μωυση̃ς πάντας τοὺς υἱοὺς Ισραηλ καὶ εἰ̃πεν πρὸς αὐτούς ὑμει̃ς ἑωράκατε πάντα ὅσα ἐποίησεν κύριος ἐν γη̨̃ Αἰγύπτω̨ ἐνώπιον ὑμω̃ν Φαραω καὶ τοι̃ς θεράπουσιν αὐτου̃ καὶ πάση̨ τη̨̃ γη̨̃ αὐτου̃ (Ⅲ) - Vocavitque Moyses omnem Israël, et dixit ad eos : Vos vidistis universa, quæ fecit Dominus coram vobis in terra Ægypti Pharaoni, et omnibus servis ejus, universæque terræ illius, (Ⅳ) - 1 ׃29 ויקרא משה אל כל ישראל ויאמר אלהם אתם ראיתם את כל אשר עשה יהוה לעיניכם בארץ מצרים לפרעה ולכל עבדיו ולכל ארצו (Ⅴ)

The great temptations which thine eyes have seen, the signs, and those great miracles:
- les grandes épreuves que tes yeux ont vues, ces miracles et ces grands prodiges. (Ⅱ) - τοὺς πειρασμοὺς τοὺς μεγάλους οὓς ἑωράκασιν οἱ ὀφθαλμοί σου τὰ σημει̃α καὶ τὰ τέρατα τὰ μεγάλα ἐκει̃να (Ⅲ) - tentationes magnas, quas viderunt oculi tui, signa illa, portentaque ingentia, (Ⅳ) - 2 ׃29 המסות הגדלת אשר ראו עיניך האתת והמפתים הגדלים ההם (Ⅴ)

Yet the LORD hath not given you an heart to perceive, and eyes to see, and ears to hear, unto this day.
- Mais, jusqu'à ce jour, l'Éternel ne vous a pas donné un coeur pour comprendre, des yeux pour voir, des oreilles pour entendre. (Ⅱ) - καὶ οὐκ ἔδωκεν κύριος ὁ θεὸς ὑμι̃ν καρδίαν εἰδέναι καὶ ὀφθαλμοὺς βλέπειν καὶ ὠ̃τα ἀκούειν ἕως τη̃ς ἡμέρας ταύτης (Ⅲ) - et non dedit vobis Dominus cor intelligens, et oculos videntes, et aures quæ possunt audire, usque in præsentem diem. (Ⅳ) - 3 ׃29 ולא נתן יהוה[C] לכם לב לדעת ועינים לראות ואזנים לשמע עד היום הזה (Ⅴ)

And I have led you forty years in the wilderness: your clothes are not waxen old upon you, and thy shoe is not waxen old upon thy foot.
- Je t'ai conduit pendant quarante années dans le désert; tes vêtements ne se sont point usés sur toi, et ton soulier ne s'est point usé à ton pied; (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἤγαγεν ὑμα̃ς τεσσαράκοντα ἔτη ἐν τη̨̃ ἐρήμω̨ οὐκ ἐπαλαιώθη τὰ ἱμάτια ὑμω̃ν καὶ τὰ ὑποδήματα ὑμω̃ν οὐ κατετρίβη ἀπὸ τω̃ν ποδω̃ν ὑμω̃ν (Ⅲ) - Adduxit vos quadraginta annis per desertum : non sunt attrita vestimenta vestra, nec calceamenta pedum vestrorum vetustate consumpta sunt. (Ⅳ) - 4 ׃29 ואולך אתכם ארבעים שנה במדבר לא בלו שלמתיכם מעליכם ונעלך לא בלתה מעל רגלך (Ⅴ)

Ye have not eaten bread, neither have ye drunk wine or strong drink: that ye might know that I am the LORD your God.
- vous n'avez point mangé de pain, et vous n'avez bu ni vin ni liqueur forte, afin que vous connussiez que je suis l'Éternel, votre Dieu. (Ⅱ) - ἄρτον οὐκ ἐφάγετε οἰ̃νον καὶ σικερα οὐκ ἐπίετε ἵνα γνω̃τε ὅτι οὑ̃τος κύριος ὁ θεὸς ὑμω̃ν (Ⅲ) - Panem non comedistis, vinum et siceram non bibistis : ut sciretis quia ego sum Dominus Deus vester. (Ⅳ) - 5 ׃29 לחם לא אכלתם ויין ושכר לא שתיתם למען תדעו כי אני יהוה אלהיכם (Ⅴ)

And when ye came unto this place, Sihon the king of Heshbon, and Og the king of Bashan, came out against us unto battle, and we smote them:
- Vous êtes arrivés dans ce lieu; Sihon, roi de Hesbon, et Og, roi de Basan, sont sortis à notre rencontre, pour nous combattre, et nous les avons battus. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἤλθετε ἕως του̃ τόπου τούτου καὶ ἐξη̃λθεν Σηων βασιλεὺς Εσεβων καὶ Ωγ βασιλεὺς τη̃ς Βασαν εἰς συνάντησιν ἡμι̃ν ἐν πολέμω̨ καὶ ἐπατάξαμεν αὐτοὺς (Ⅲ) - Et venistis ad hunc locum : egressusque est Sehon rex Hesebon, et Og rex Basan, occurrentes nobis ad pugnam. Et percussimus eos, (Ⅳ) - 6 ׃29 ותבאו אל המקום הזה ויצא סיחן מלך חשבון ועוג מלך הבשן לקראתנו למלחמה ונכם (Ⅴ)

And we took their land, and gave it for an inheritance unto the Reubenites, and to the Gadites, and to the half tribe of Manasseh.
- Nous avons pris leur pays, et nous l'avons donné en propriété aux Rubénites, aux Gadites et à la moitié de la tribu des Manassites. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐλάβομεν τὴν γη̃ν αὐτω̃ν καὶ ἔδωκα αὐτὴν ἐν κλήρω̨ τω̨̃ Ρουβην καὶ τω̨̃ Γαδδι καὶ τω̨̃ ἡμίσει φυλη̃ς Μανασση (Ⅲ) - et tulimus terram eorum, ac tradidimus possidendam Ruben et Gad, et dimidiæ tribui Manasse. (Ⅳ) - 7 ׃29 ונקח את ארצם ונתנה לנחלה לראובני ולגדי ולחצי שבט המנשי (Ⅴ)

Keep therefore the words of this covenant, and do them, that ye may prosper in all that ye do.
- Vous observerez donc les paroles de cette alliance, et vous les mettrez en pratique, afin de réussir dans tout ce que vous ferez. (Ⅱ) - καὶ φυλάξεσθε ποιει̃ν πάντας τοὺς λόγους τη̃ς διαθήκης ταύτης ἵνα συνη̃τε πάντα ὅσα ποιήσετε (Ⅲ) - Custodite ergo verba pacti hujus, et implete ea : ut intelligatis universa quæ facitis.\ (Ⅳ) - 8 ׃29 ושמרתם את דברי הברית הזאת ועשיתם אתם למען תשכילו את כל אשר תעשון פ (Ⅴ)

Ye stand this day all of you before the LORD your God; your captains of your tribes, your elders, and your officers, with all the men of Israel,
- Vous vous présentez aujourd'hui devant l'Éternel, votre Dieu, vous tous, vos chefs de tribus, vos anciens, vos officiers, tous les hommes d'Israël, (Ⅱ) - ὑμει̃ς ἑστήκατε πάντες σήμερον ἐναντίον κυρίου του̃ θεου̃ ὑμω̃ν οἱ ἀρχίφυλοι ὑμω̃ν καὶ ἡ γερουσία ὑμω̃ν καὶ οἱ κριταὶ ὑμω̃ν καὶ οἱ γραμματοεισαγωγει̃ς ὑμω̃ν πα̃ς ἀνὴρ Ισραηλ (Ⅲ) - Vos statis hodie cuncti coram Domino Deo vestro, principes vestri, et tribus, ac majores natu, atque doctores, omnis populus Israël, (Ⅳ) - 9 ׃29 אתם נצבים היום כלכם לפני יהוה אלהיכם ראשיכם שבטיכם זקניכם ושטריכם כל איש ישראל (Ⅴ)

Your little ones, your wives, and thy stranger that is in thy camp, from the hewer of thy wood unto the drawer of thy water:
- vos enfants, vos femmes, et l'étranger qui est au milieu de ton camp, depuis celui qui coupe ton bois jusqu'à celui qui puise ton eau. (Ⅱ) - αἱ γυναι̃κες ὑμω̃ν καὶ τὰ ἔκγονα ὑμω̃ν καὶ ὁ προσήλυτος ὁ ἐν μέσω̨ τη̃ς παρεμβολη̃ς ὑμω̃ν ἀπὸ ξυλοκόπου ὑμω̃ν καὶ ἕως ὑδροφόρου ὑμω̃ν (Ⅲ) - liberi et uxores vestræ, et advena qui tecum moratur in castris, exceptis lignorum cæsoribus, et his qui comportant aquas : (Ⅳ) - 10 ׃29 טפכם נשיכם וגרך אשר בקרב מחניך מחטב עציך עד שאב מימיך (Ⅴ)

That thou shouldest enter into covenant with the LORD thy God, and into his oath, which the LORD thy God maketh with thee this day:
- Tu te présentes pour entrer dans l'alliance de l'Éternel, ton Dieu, dans cette alliance contractée avec serment, et que l'Éternel, ton Dieu, traite en ce jour avec toi, (Ⅱ) - παρελθει̃ν ἐν τη̨̃ διαθήκη̨ κυρίου του̃ θεου̃ σου καὶ ἐν ται̃ς ἀραι̃ς αὐτου̃ ὅσα κύριος ὁ θεός σου διατίθεται πρὸς σὲ σήμερον (Ⅲ) - ut transeas in fœdere Domini Dei tui, et in jurejurando quod hodie Dominus Deus tuus percutit tecum : (Ⅳ) - 11 ׃29 לעברך בברית יהוה אלהיך ובאלתו אשר יהוה אלהיך כרת עמך היום (Ⅴ)

That he may establish thee to day for a people unto himself, and that he may be unto thee a God, as he hath said unto thee, and as he hath sworn unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob.
- afin de t'établir aujourd'hui pour son peuple et d'être lui-même ton Dieu, comme il te l'a dit, et comme il l'a juré à tes pères, Abraham, Isaac et Jacob. (Ⅱ) - ἵνα στήση̨ σε αὐτω̨̃ εἰς λαόν καὶ αὐτὸς ἔσται σου θεός ὃν τρόπον εἰ̃πέν σοι καὶ ὃν τρόπον ὤμοσεν τοι̃ς πατράσιν σου Αβρααμ καὶ Ισαακ καὶ Ιακωβ (Ⅲ) - ut suscitet te sibi in populum, et ipse sit Deus tuus sicut locutus est tibi, et sicut juravit patribus tuis, Abraham, Isaac, et Jacob. (Ⅳ) - 12 ׃29 למען הקים אתך היום לו לעם והוא יהיה לך לאלהים כאשר דבר לך וכאשר נשבע לאבתיך לאברהם ליצחק וליעקב (Ⅴ)

Neither with you only do I make this covenant and this oath;
- Ce n'est point avec vous seuls que je traite cette alliance, cette alliance contractée avec serment. (Ⅱ) - καὶ οὐχ ὑμι̃ν μόνοις ἐγὼ διατίθεμαι τὴν διαθήκην ταύτην καὶ τὴν ἀρὰν ταύτην (Ⅲ) - Nec vobis solis ego hoc fœdus ferio, et hæc juramenta confirmo, (Ⅳ) - 13 ׃29 ולא אתכם לבדכם אנכי כרת את הברית הזאת ואת האלה הזאת (Ⅴ)

But with him that standeth here with us this day before the LORD our God, and also with him that is not here with us this day:
- Mais c'est avec ceux qui sont ici parmi nous, présents en ce jour devant l'Éternel, notre Dieu, et avec ceux qui ne sont point ici parmi nous en ce jour. (Ⅱ) - ἀλλὰ καὶ τοι̃ς ὡ̃δε οὐ̃σι μεθ' ἡμω̃ν σήμερον ἐναντίον κυρίου του̃ θεου̃ ὑμω̃ν καὶ τοι̃ς μὴ οὐ̃σιν μεθ' ἡμω̃ν ὡ̃δε σήμερον (Ⅲ) - sed cunctis præsentibus et absentibus. (Ⅳ) - 14 ׃29 כי את אשר ישנו פה עמנו עמד היום לפני יהוה אלהינו ואת אשר איננו פה עמנו היום (Ⅴ)

(For ye know how we have dwelt in the land of Egypt; and how we came through the nations which ye passed by;
- Vous savez de quelle manière nous avons habité dans le pays d'Égypte, et comment nous avons passé au milieu des nations que vous avez traversées. (Ⅱ) - ὅτι ὑμει̃ς οἴδατε ὡς κατω̨κήσαμεν ἐν γη̨̃ Αἰγύπτω̨ καὶ παρήλθομεν ἐν μέσω̨ τω̃ν ἐθνω̃ν οὓς παρήλθετε (Ⅲ) - Vos enim nostis quomodo habitaverimus in terra Ægypti, et quomodo transierimus per medium nationum, quas transeuntes (Ⅳ) - 15 ׃29 כי אתם ידעתם את אשר ישבנו בארץ מצרים ואת אשר עברנו בקרב הגוים אשר עברתם (Ⅴ)

And ye have seen their abominations, and their idols, wood and stone, silver and gold, which were among them:)
- Vous avez vu leurs abominations et leurs idoles, le bois et la pierre, l'argent et l'or, qui sont chez elles. (Ⅱ) - καὶ εἴδετε τὰ βδελύγματα αὐτω̃ν καὶ τὰ εἴδωλα αὐτω̃ν ξύλον καὶ λίθον ἀργύριον καὶ χρυσίον ἅ ἐστιν παρ' αὐτοι̃ς (Ⅲ) - vidistis abominationes et sordes, id est, idola eorum, lignum et lapidem, argentum et aurum, quæ colebant.\ (Ⅳ) - 16 ׃29 ותראו את שקוציהם ואת גלליהם עץ ואבן כסף וזהב אשר עמהם (Ⅴ)

Lest there should be among you man, or woman, or family, or tribe, whose heart turneth away this day from the LORD our God, to go and serve the gods of these nations; lest there should be among you a root that beareth gall and wormwood;
- Qu'il n'y ait parmi vous ni homme, ni femme, ni famille, ni tribu, dont le coeur se détourne aujourd'hui de l'Éternel, notre Dieu, pour aller servir les dieux de ces nations-là. Qu'il n'y ait point parmi vous de racine qui produise du poison et de l'absinthe. (Ⅱ) - μή τίς ἐστιν ἐν ὑμι̃ν ἀνὴρ ἢ γυνὴ ἢ πατριὰ ἢ φυλή τίνος ἡ διάνοια ἐξέκλινεν ἀπὸ κυρίου του̃ θεου̃ ὑμω̃ν πορεύεσθαι λατρεύειν τοι̃ς θεοι̃ς τω̃ν ἐθνω̃ν ἐκείνων μή τίς ἐστιν ἐν ὑμι̃ν ῥίζα ἄνω φύουσα ἐν χολη̨̃ καὶ πικρία̨ (Ⅲ) - Ne forte sit inter vos vir aut mulier, familia aut tribus, cujus cor aversum est hodie a Domino Deo nostro, ut vadat et serviat diis illarum gentium : et sit inter vos radix germinans fel et amaritudinem. (Ⅳ) - 17 ׃29 פן יש בכם איש או אשה או משפחה או שבט אשר לבבו פנה היום מעם יהוה אלהינו ללכת לעבד את אלהי הגוים ההם פן יש בכם שרש פרה ראש ולענה (Ⅴ)

And it come to pass, when he heareth the words of this curse, that he bless himself in his heart, saying, I shall have peace, though I walk in the imagination of mine heart, to add drunkenness to thirst:
- Que personne, après avoir entendu les paroles de cette alliance contractée avec serment, ne se glorifie dans son coeur et ne dise: J'aurai la paix, quand même je suivrai les penchants de mon coeur, et que j'ajouterai l'ivresse à la soif. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἔσται ἐὰν ἀκούση̨ τὰ ῥήματα τη̃ς ἀρα̃ς ταύτης καὶ ἐπιφημίσηται ἐν τη̨̃ καρδία̨ αὐτου̃ λέγων ὅσιά μοι γένοιτο ὅτι ἐν τη̨̃ ἀποπλανήσει τη̃ς καρδίας μου πορεύσομαι ἵνα μὴ συναπολέση̨ ὁ ἁμαρτωλὸς τὸν ἀναμάρτητον (Ⅲ) - Cumque audierit verba juramenti hujus, benedicat sibi in corde suo, dicens : Pax erit mihi, et ambulabo in pravitate cordis mei : et absumat ebria sitientem, (Ⅳ) - 18 ׃29 והיה בשמעו את דברי האלה הזאת והתברך בלבבו לאמר שלום יהיה לי כי בשררות לבי אלך למען ספות הרוה את הצמאה (Ⅴ)

The LORD will not spare him, but then the anger of the LORD and his jealousy shall smoke against that man, and all the curses that are written in this book shall lie upon him, and the LORD shall blot out his name from under heaven.
- L'Éternel ne voudra point lui pardonner. Mais alors la colère et la jalousie de l'Éternel s'enflammeront contre cet homme, toutes les malédictions écrites dans ce livre reposeront sur lui, et l'Éternel effacera son nom de dessous les cieux. (Ⅱ) - οὐ μὴ θελήση̨ ὁ θεὸς εὐιλατευ̃σαι αὐτω̨̃ ἀλλ' ἢ τότε ἐκκαυθήσεται ὀργὴ κυρίου καὶ ὁ ζη̃λος αὐτου̃ ἐν τω̨̃ ἀνθρώπω̨ ἐκείνω̨ καὶ κολληθήσονται ἐν αὐτω̨̃ πα̃σαι αἱ ἀραὶ τη̃ς διαθήκης ταύτης αἱ γεγραμμέναι ἐν τω̨̃ βιβλίω̨ του̃ νόμου τούτου καὶ ἐξαλείψει κύριος τὸ ὄνομα αὐτου̃ ἐκ τη̃ς ὑπὸ τὸν οὐρανόν (Ⅲ) - et Dominus non ignoscat ei : sed tunc quam maxime furor ejus fumet, et zelus contra hominem illum, et sedeant super eum omnia maledicta, quæ scripta sunt in hoc volumine : et deleat Dominus nomen ejus sub cælo, (Ⅳ) - 19 ׃29 לא יאבה יהוה סלח לו כי אז יעשן אף יהוה וקנאתו באיש ההוא ורבצה בו כל האלה הכתובה בספר הזה ומחה יהוה את שמו מתחת השמים (Ⅴ)

And the LORD shall separate him unto evil out of all the tribes of Israel, according to all the curses of the covenant that are written in this book of the law:
- L'Éternel le séparera, pour son malheur, de toutes les tribus d'Israël, selon toutes les malédictions de l'alliance écrite dans ce livre de la loi. (Ⅱ) - καὶ διαστελει̃ αὐτὸν κύριος εἰς κακὰ ἐκ πάντων τω̃ν υἱω̃ν Ισραηλ κατὰ πάσας τὰς ἀρὰς τη̃ς διαθήκης τὰς γεγραμμένας ἐν τω̨̃ βιβλίω̨ του̃ νόμου τούτου (Ⅲ) - et consumat eum in perditionem ex omnibus tribubus Israël, juxta maledictiones, quæ in libro legis hujus ac fœderis continentur.\ (Ⅳ) - 20 ׃29 והבדילו יהוה לרעה מכל שבטי ישראל ככל אלות הברית הכתובה בספר התורה הזה (Ⅴ)

So that the generation to come of your children that shall rise up after you, and the stranger that shall come from a far land, shall say, when they see the plagues of that land, and the sicknesses which the LORD hath laid upon it;
- Les générations à venir, vos enfants qui naîtront après vous et l'étranger qui viendra d'une terre lointaine, -à la vue des plaies et des maladies dont l'Éternel aura frappé ce pays, à la vue du soufre, du sel, (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐρου̃σιν ἡ γενεὰ ἡ ἑτέρα οἱ υἱοὶ ὑμω̃ν οἳ ἀναστήσονται μεθ' ὑμα̃ς καὶ ὁ ἀλλότριος ὃς ἂν ἔλθη̨ ἐκ γη̃ς μακρόθεν καὶ ὄψονται τὰς πληγὰς τη̃ς γη̃ς ἐκείνης καὶ τὰς νόσους αὐτη̃ς ἃς ἀπέστειλεν κύριος ἐπ' αὐτήν (Ⅲ) - Dicetque sequens generatio, et filii qui nascentur deinceps, et peregrini qui de longe venerint, videntes plagas terræ illius, et infirmitates, quibus eam afflixerit Dominus, (Ⅳ) - 21 ׃29 ואמר הדור האחרון בניכם אשר יקומו מאחריכם והנכרי אשר יבא מארץ רחוקה וראו את מכות הארץ ההוא ואת תחלאיה אשר חלה יהוה בה (Ⅴ)

And that the whole land thereof is brimstone, and salt, and burning, that it is not sown, nor beareth, nor any grass groweth therein, like the overthrow of Sodom, and Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboim, which the LORD overthrew in his anger, and in his wrath:
- de l'embrasement de toute la contrée, où il n'y aura ni semence, ni produit, ni aucune herbe qui croisse, comme au bouleversement de Sodome, de Gomorrhe, d'Adma et de Tseboïm, que l'Éternel détruisit dans sa colère et dans sa fureur, - (Ⅱ) - θει̃ον καὶ ἅλα κατακεκαυμένον πα̃σα ἡ γη̃ αὐτη̃ς οὐ σπαρήσεται οὐδὲ ἀνατελει̃ οὐδὲ μὴ ἀναβη̨̃ ἐπ' αὐτὴν πα̃ν χλωρόν ὥσπερ κατεστράφη Σοδομα καὶ Γομορρα Αδαμα καὶ Σεβωιμ ἃς κατέστρεψεν κύριος ἐν θυμω̨̃ καὶ ὀργη̨̃ (Ⅲ) - sulphure, et salis ardore comburens, ita ut ultra non seratur, nec virens quippiam germinet, in exemplum subversionis Sodomæ et Gomorrhæ, Adamæ et Seboim, quas subvertit Dominus in ira et furore suo. (Ⅳ) - 22 ׃29 גפרית ומלח שרפה כל ארצה לא תזרע ולא תצמח ולא יעלה בה כל עשב כמהפכת סדם ועמרה אדמה *וצביים **וצבוים אשר הפך יהוה באפו ובחמתו (Ⅴ)

Even all nations shall say, Wherefore hath the LORD done thus unto this land? what meaneth the heat of this great anger?
- toutes les nations diront: Pourquoi l'Éternel a-t-il ainsi traité ce pays? pourquoi cette ardente, cette grande colère? (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐρου̃σιν πάντα τὰ ἔθνη διὰ τί ἐποίησεν κύριος οὕτως τη̨̃ γη̨̃ ταύτη̨ τίς ὁ θυμὸς τη̃ς ὀργη̃ς ὁ μέγας οὑ̃τος (Ⅲ) - Et dicent omnes gentes : Quare sic fecit Dominus terræ huic ? quæ est hæc ira furoris ejus immensa ? Then men shall say, Because they have forsaken the covenant of the LORD God of their fathers, which he made with them when he brought them forth out of the land of Egypt:
- Et l'on répondra: C'est parce qu'ils ont abandonné l'alliance contractée avec eux par l'Éternel, le Dieu de leurs pères, lorsqu'il les fit sortir du pays d'Égypte; (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐρου̃σιν ὅτι κατελίποσαν τὴν διαθήκην κυρίου του̃ θεου̃ τω̃ν πατέρων αὐτω̃ν ἃ διέθετο τοι̃ς πατράσιν αὐτω̃ν ὅτε ἐξήγαγεν αὐτοὺς ἐκ γη̃ς Αἰγύπτου (Ⅲ) - Et respondebunt : Quia dereliquerunt pactum Domini, quod pepigit cum patribus eorum, quando eduxit eos de terra Ægypti : (Ⅳ) - 24 ׃29 ואמרו על אשר עזבו את ברית יהוה אלהי אבתם אשר כרת עמם בהוציאו אתם מארץ מצרים (Ⅴ)

For they went and served other gods, and worshipped them, gods whom they knew not, and whom he had not given unto them:
- c'est parce qu'ils sont allés servir d'autres dieux et se prosterner devant eux, des dieux qu'ils ne connaissaient point et que l'Éternel ne leur avait point donnés en partage. (Ⅱ) - καὶ πορευθέντες ἐλάτρευσαν θεοι̃ς ἑτέροις καὶ προσεκύνησαν αὐτοι̃ς οἱ̃ς οὐκ ἠπίσταντο οὐδὲ διένειμεν αὐτοι̃ς (Ⅲ) - et servierunt diis alienis, et adoraverunt eos, quos nesciebant, et quibus non fuerant attributi : (Ⅳ) - 25 ׃29 וילכו ויעבדו אלהים אחרים וישתחוו[U] להם אלהים אשר לא ידעום ולא חלק להם (Ⅴ)

And the anger of the LORD was kindled against this land, to bring upon it all the curses that are written in this book:
- Alors la colère de l'Éternel s'est enflammée contre ce pays, et il a fait venir sur lui toutes les malédictions écrites dans ce livre. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ὠργίσθη θυμω̨̃ κύριος ἐπὶ τὴν γη̃ν ἐκείνην ἐπαγαγει̃ν ἐπ' αὐτὴν κατὰ πάσας τὰς κατάρας τὰς γεγραμμένας ἐν τω̨̃ βιβλίω̨ του̃ νόμου τούτου (Ⅲ) - idcirco iratus est furor Domini contra terram istam, ut induceret super eam omnia maledicta, quæ in hoc volumine scripta sunt : (Ⅳ) - 26 ׃29 ויחר אף יהוה בארץ ההוא להביא עליה את כל הקללה הכתובה בספר הזה (Ⅴ)

And the LORD rooted them out of their land in anger, and in wrath, and in great indignation, and cast them into another land, as it is this day.
- L'Éternel les a arrachés de leur pays avec colère, avec fureur, avec une grande indignation, et il les a jetés sur un autre pays, comme on le voit aujourd'hui. (Ⅱ) - καὶ ἐξη̃ρεν αὐτοὺς κύριος ἀπὸ τη̃ς γη̃ς αὐτω̃ν ἐν θυμω̨̃ καὶ ὀργη̨̃ καὶ παροξυσμω̨̃ μεγάλω̨ σφόδρα καὶ ἐξέβαλεν αὐτοὺς εἰς γη̃ν ἑτέραν ὡσεὶ νυ̃ν (Ⅲ) - et ejecit eos de terra sua in ira et in furore, et in indignatione maxima, projecitque in terram alienam, sicut hodie comprobatur. (Ⅳ) - 27 ׃29 ויתשם יהוה מעל אדמתם באף ובחמה ובקצף גדול וישלכם אל ארץ אחרת כיום הזה (Ⅴ)

The secret things belong unto the LORD our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.
- Les choses cachées sont à l'Éternel, notre Dieu; les choses révélées sont à nous et à nos enfants, à perpétuité, afin que nous mettions en pratique toutes les paroles de cette loi. (Ⅱ) - τὰ κρυπτὰ κυρίω̨ τω̨̃ θεω̨̃ ἡμω̃ν τὰ δὲ φανερὰ ἡμι̃ν καὶ τοι̃ς τέκνοις ἡμω̃ν εἰς τὸν αἰω̃να ποιει̃ν πάντα τὰ ῥήματα του̃ νόμου τούτου (Ⅲ) - Abscondita, Domino Deo nostro ; quæ manifesta sunt, nobis et filiis nostris usque in sempiternum, ut faciamus universa verba legis hujus. (Ⅳ) - 28 ׃29 הנסתרת ליהוה אלהינו והנגלת לנו[4] ולבנינו[4] עד עולם לעשות את כל דברי התורה הזאת ס (Ⅴ)
